So this is a excerpt from a short story called Dragonbane that I did back in 2010. Please check out my other stories as well! If you enjoy my writings, I am open for commissions.

And the sword sank into David's flesh, and a scream of a thousand griefs, sorrow and betrayal let out. The blade sank even deeper, and his eyes met the ones of his bane. "Im sorry I hurt you. I am really sorry." His eyes turned blank as the last piece of his devoured soul flew out from the wound. Dragonbane twisted the sword around but Davids body did not move anymore. He pulled his sword back, wiping it clean from blood and filth. He sheathed the sword back in its hilt, turned on the spot and walked out from the cold castle room, the large wooden door swung shut behind him. Davids body remained in the dark. Thin. Weak. Like a white sheet on a black bed. His last vitality dripped away and followed the flood down through the mortar.

Dragonbanes heavy feet, reinforced with heavy dark steel clanked further down the empty corridor. Dust danced around his steps as to mock him. Could he kill the dust too? He stood perfectly still, watching the dust slowly fall to the floor, where it laid still, unable to move. Dragonbane smirked. He was truly the master of death. He stretched out his arm and laid his heavy steel fist on the next wooden door. "And now, Madame Luna, You are mine at last" he thought. He pushed the door open. His eyes scanned the room with a warriors eye, marking every threat. Luna sat on the corner of the bed, with her head in her hands. Dragonbane took a step into the room, making himself fully visible. He stood there quiet, observing her. She looked up and her head turned around, meeting his eyes. Her deep, green eyes set his soul on fire. She was mostly covered in greyish fur, she had become the monster he so long had feared.

She stood up, now facing him. Her breasts, deformed but still beautiful rocked as she begun to walk towards him. She was all naked, he could see it now. The rags of her clothes stripped off and thrown into a dark corner. She wagged her tail and came close up. He was stunned by how she still had perfection, being a warped, terrible creature of horror. Her eyes drank his soul. She took his hands in hers, he could feel the softness of her fur. "I have been waiting so long for you, why didn't you come? This castle has been my lonely home for many, dark years." Still stunned, he could not answer her. How could she be so beautiful? She put his hands on her wrists, and he moved them slowly around, exploring her deformed body. He touched her breasts, petted her head, stomach and back. Her eyes were filled of excitement as her hands grabbed his black helmet and started to lift it off. His eyes shut as his left hand stretched back, grasping the hilt of the saw-bladed dagger he always carried. Then he forced the blade through her skin, tearing flesh and bone apart. Her scream echoed throughout the deserted castle, and a bunch of ravens left off from nearby trees. She stared at him, shock in her eyes, but he could not look back at her. He shut his eyes hard as tears of crystal flew down his cheeks. They burned like fire. Her blood splashed over his armour like water from a waterfall. She fell on her knees, clutching his hand as a very last "I Love You" slipped from her cold lips. And she fell. Dragonbane screamed in agony, writhing in the pain of his soul. He opened his eyes staring at the roof, and small white spots danced in front of his eyes. And he cried. His tears washing the blood off his face. He fell on his knees beside her, holding her lifeless body in his arms. "Oh god... Im sorry... Please come back, Im so sorry...". And he cried over her, realising that she would never come back to him. "Im so sorry, but you became the one I feared the most... I had no choice... I Love you...". And his tears washed away the blood from her cold and lifeless body. And Dragonbane fell to Darkness.
