Episode 2: You And Me
The two walked over to their favorite restaurant, Food and Fun. It was a simplistic restaurant spawned by Luke, Troy and his boyfriend, Sam, have been visiting the place ever since.
They sat down inside, having special access for free food, they ordered a small pepperoni pizza. Neither of them were too hungry that day. Troy sat back and relaxed in the surprisingly comfortable chairs they place had, they were clearly new, thanks to Luke improving the place from time to time as his powers progressed to get better, "Sure is a nice day outside!" he said to his mate.
The mate was Sam, a fox, just like Troy. Slim, but having no skills in the arts of mind craft. Sam knew what Troy had said was a joke, he laughed, "Yes, indeed!" playing along, remembering the terrible pouring rain outside that occurred as soon as the duo entered the building.
"Don't worry," Troy nodded his head, "I'm almost experienced enough to change the weather."
Sam cocked his head to his fox friend, "Oh? You've been practicing weather?"
"Well, it's not that I'm practicing weather exactly, I'm doing all sorts of practice at once, such as my Extermination skills and my invisibility." Troy replied.
Sam was surprised by a piece of Troy's conversation, "You never told me you were practicing invisibility!" he seemed intrigued, "Why such a subject?"
"Kingdom Day is approaching." he reminded his friend.
The mate nodded his head, "Right...right...I'm still worried about you doing this."
Troy chuckled, "Why? I'll be fine! I'll have the company of Luke, remember? We'll protect one another!"
"Just," Sam sighed, "be careful, okay? You know I hate it when you go on seriously dangerous missions like this- and this mission in unlike any you've done thus far!"
"...You are right on that..." Troy nodded his head, "Invisibility is going to help me navigate around the hallways of the castle without being detected by the Lost Souls."
Sam nodded his head, "That's why you practice invisibility. You are trying to consider this more of a stealth mission?"
"That's what I intended on since we planned it!" he reminded.
"Actually," he shrugged, "Luke was thinking otherwise. He was thinking more of a 'take over, kill all those in my way, do whatever it takes, and go', mission."
Troy sighed, "Right... But I still disagree with his plans."
"You better get this all sorted out," he warned, taking a sip of his water, "Kingdom Day is in a week."
"I'm sure me and Luke will work this out." he smiled as the two's food arrived.
*KINGDOM DAY - * "Kingdom Day is when both Luke and Troy must go into a legend, abandoned castle, once owned by a demon lord named Red."
LOST SOULS - "Forgotten and corrupted spirits from other universes inside the Mind. Unlike Nightmares, they can speak and use their own type of Consciousness, usually disease-related and corrupting spells. Rumor has it; a Lost Soul can be revived and brought back from the Lost Realm, but no such cure has been discovered yet."
LOST REALM - "Where the Lost Souls originate from. They see things in a completely different way, they are told to see all sorts of dream-like and nightmarish things the human eye has yet to uncover, but we see them as slightly-transparent ghosts. We have yet to find a way into this realm."
