Enek curiously reaches out and takes the potion from Mistress Amarith. Popping the cork on the top of the vial and sniffing the contents, it had

a decidedly sweet scent to it. "And you're sure this is safe to drink?" He casts a glance towards the tigress.

"Hm? Oh sure sure, of course it is... probably." She tapped her index finger to her lip as she seemed to think about it and watch him carefully.

Taking a deep breath, Enek shrugged his shoulders and brought the vial to his lips. Tipping the thing back, he drained the purple liquid inside

with two swallows before setting the now empty glass on the nearby countertop where Mistress Amarith sat. A sweet smell, but certainly not a

sweet taste. His face cringed in disgust as Enek stuck his tongue out. "Blech, I've had road kill rad-scorpion that taste better you know?"

The tigress paid him no heed however, she just stared at him, watching. That striped tail swishing energetically behind her as she took a sharp

breath suddenly and smiled after a few moments. "Ah ha! So that's the effect it has on a human." Amarith hopped off the counter to search around

the room for something. "I guess it's lucky he didn't go blind like the last one, hm." She idly spoke to herself, picking up a hand mirror and

returning to his side.

"Wait, blindness? What exactly did you give me?" Worry slowly grew in his chest. A tingling sensation itched behind his eyes as his vision seemed

to shift suddenly. Everything seemed the same but yet... different in a way that he couldn't describe.

Shrugging his question off, she held the hand mirror up for him. "Not blindness, opposite for humans. The effects should have been obvious

honestly." She looked down at herself before realization hit with a quiet. "Oh, right.."

Enek's reflection told an interesting story as he gripped the cracked mirror to look at his eyes. Though around the edge he could still see the

hints of his hazel pupils, there was a splash of amethyst that dotted the majority of it now. "Whoa whoa.. what did you do to me? Is this gonna

be permanent?" He pulled at his eyelid to see if there had been other effects across his now slightly bloodshot eye. That terrible itching

screamed at him to rub his eyes, an urge he ignored for now.

Amarith smiled, clearly pleased with herself as the tigress's tail continued to swish back and forth while her hands crossed beneath her generous

breasts. "Oh relax, the dosage should only last for a day at most if I counted it out correctly. Besides you'll find you quite like the effects

anyway." Picking up a notepad she scribbled a few notes on it. "Go ahead and take a look at yourself, you'll understand I'm sure." She hummed

softly as she wrote.

Glancing slowly at himself in the mirror, the aforementioned 'effects' were noticed. Enek didn't seeme to be wearing any clothes at the moment,

but yet he could still feel them on his body. The slightest shimmer of an outline in his vision told him the material still covered him as Enek

rubbed his fingers across the flak jacket covering his chest. "Holy shit, you created x-ray vision?" He looked to Mistress Amarith.

Setting the notepad down, she took the broken hand mirror from him. "Well actually it's just material transparentcy. True x-ray is impossible, at

least so far. And even this is just a byproduct of what's supposed to be a darkvision enhancer. It was supposed to increase certain races

inherent ability to see with no, to minimal light. In your case, my cute little first human test subject, it can't enhance what's not really

there for you, so it pushes your vision to strange new places!"

Thinking on this for a moment, a thought occured to Enek. "Wait, if it's a byproduct in humans then how did you know it was going to happen to me

if I'm the first one to try it?" Despite the fact that the tigress hadn't been wearing clothes anyway, he suddenly felt more embarrassed about

the situation.

"Well I say first human, because my last subject wasn't full blooded human. I found out after the fact that his grandmother had been a kangroo-

morph actually. It's not my fault he looked so very human." Mistress Amarith shrugged. "So he experienced the partial effect first before the

blindness set in and I was able to note it. The pupils changing is new however, I'm sure it'll go away when the potion dilutes in your blood

stream." She stretched her arms above her head. "Now, where are my manners. Welcome to Mistress Amarith's Alchemy Lab, what can I do for you

today?" She gave him a lopsided smile with a yawn.

The suddenness of it all caught him off guard and Enek stood there with his mouth slightly open like an idiot before coming to his senses. "Oh

right, well I saw the advertisement and figured someone as enterprising as yourself might have a few open jobs or opportunities perhaps?" He ran

his fingers through the short mohawk.

"Hm? Well you kind of just did, here." She opened up a nearby cabinet and pulled out a few coins from a satchel inside. Taking his hand, she

deposited two slightly faded, but golden coins. "And actually now that you mention it, I could use some glow-shrooms. Just don't eat them or

touch them with your bare hands on account of them being mildly radioactive though. I'll pay you an entire silver piece for each one you bring

back, unless... You'd like to test another potion that is?" The tigress grins.

"I think one is enough for now, thanks." Enek smiled sheepishly.
