This is my first story I have uploaded.

The alarm clock begins to rings as a young wolf stretches out his hand and smacks the clock. He sits up and yawns as the sun gleams through the window and bouncing of his grey fur. He grades a shirt off of a near by dresser and heads into the bathroom. He comes out after a while with a puff of steam behind him. He grabs a jacket of the floor and walks out of the room and begins to whistle. He walks out of the door and walks down the pure white snowy sidewalk.

He walks into a bookstore and starts to browse through the new releases hoping to find something to read. As he looks through the books he bumps into a person who he almost knocks over. He grabs the books the person drops and hands them over. The person takes back the books and thanks him. He nods back and goes back to browsing the books. He hears a the same voice again at the register. He looks up to see the person talking to the cashier. He takes the time and notices the person has a more feminine figure. He brushes away the thought and picks out the books he thought were good and proceeds to the register. He lines up behind the person from before who is still talking. He overhears part of the conversation and finds out that the person forgot her purse. He began to look over how much money he has and taps the girl on her shoulder. He hands her some money, pays for his books and walks out without saying anything.

Halfway down the street he feels a hand on his shoulder and turns around to see the girl from before. "Why did you pay for my books then leave without saying anything?" she asks. He stays silent for a moment and responds with, " you where holding up the line and I had extra money left over."

"Oh," she said solemnly, " well thanks, and I will pay you back." He holds his hand up saying, " no it was my choice to spend that money, anyway I was just going to buy alcohol with that money."

He begins to walk away as she ask, "can I atleast get your name?" Without looking back he responds with, "only if I get yours first."

"Elisabeth, yours?" she says as he turns around. "Travis, now if you have anymore question my names in the book."

He bows and begins to walk back to his apartment. On the way back he noticed that she was still following him. Right before he enters his apartment building he turns around and speaks straight to her, " I never had a stalker and I never plan to, so stop following me before I call the police." She jumps back, regains her poise and tells him, " I was not stalking you I was just going to my apartment which you are standing in front of."

He looks her up and down and notices she is wearing a silk dress under her coat and expensive looking shoes. He compiles what he knows and asks, "If you live here why do you have such expensive clothes?" She is taken by surprise by his question and responds with, " its none of your business."

He shrugs his shoulders and goes into the building without a word. She huffs and goes inside a moment after. They both go to the same floor and notice they live right across from each other. He enters his room and moves around the hills of clothes on the floor. He falls into a bean bag chair and begins to look through the books. He picks up one which he really wanted to read and begins to look through it. After about ten pages he notices that he picked up the second book of the series. He checks his wallet and goes to buy the first one. When he leaves he looks across the hall and sees her just leaving her apartment also. They wave to each other and begin to walk down the hall. She begins to look him over and notice he has a book in his hand. She hesitates but eventually asks, "You didn't like the book?"

He looks at her for a sec and responds, " No I just realized I grabbed the second one and not the first." She nods in understanding and said, " well I have the first one, I could save you the trouble and lend it to you."

"No I couldn't, I can buy it myself," he says taking a second look at her dress which is a crimson red,"wheres your coat it's too cold outside not to where one."

"I'm not going outside I need to talk to the landlady about the cable, it keeps going out." She says rubbing her hand over her glossy black fur.

"Ah, don't bother she'll just call someone to do it then charge you in next month rent, I can call this guy I know and he can fix it for free." He says.

She thanks him and heads back to her room as he continues to the store. All the way to the store and back he begins to think about why she talked to him. While thinking her gets a call on his phone. He pulls his phone out of his pocket and notices his brother is calling him. He begins to talk to him as he enters the apartment building. He hangs up right as he gets to the door and finds a book leaning on the door with a sticky note on it. He picks up the book and read the sticky note which reads, Thank you again, in return i thought you would like this book ~Elisabeth.
