~Disclaimer : sorry guys, no yiff in this one. Although there are many scenes or gore, vore, suspense, blood, and if you let it, it may actually haunt you....not saying I wrote it to, just saying, it's not real...and don't think too much into it. Anyways....enjoy.~

Deep in space, hurdling toward a blue planet, a group of rocks clustered together. Normally there is no sound from these monstrous killers, but there is something lodged within the rocks, something that will bring a world to the edge of what it thinks it's sanity is, than push it over the edge and into another world of horror.

On the blue planet, in a select part of the most populated region there is a major metropolis. Within this metropolis, there are many furs or many different specie, scalie, mammal, avian, and a few chimeric mixes all living in mutual respect with each other as a normal city works. On the outskirts of this metropolis is a small college. This is where the true story starts.

The blankets shift on the bed centered in a messy room. A canine muzzle peeks from under them and all the sudden the covers fly off the bed. "FUCKING HELL!! GOD DAMNED POWER FLASHES!!!" The canine jumps from the bed in his striped boxers, clumbisily stubbing his foot paw on the corner of his desk and knocking over a half empty can of soda. He yelps and hobbles around trying to get his clothing situated and his books together as he jets out of his dorm room and heads for his class he is sure he has already missed.

As he runs at full speed across a court yard he stumbled and rolls down a small ravine. As he rolls his bag catches on a branch of a sapling as well as when he hits the bottom of the ravine his head meets a heavy rock and he is knocked out cold.

The canine awoke in darkness, feeling his fur dampened and matted to his body, he grunts and rubs the spot on his head where he came in contact with the rock. Feeling dried clumps of blood, he whimpers softly. He looks around and can barely see any light. He began climbing up the hill he skidded down and gathered his bag off the sapling, it too was coated in mud and wetness. He grunted in disgust at himself for being so clumsy. As he made his way to the top of the hill, he felt as if something was different. He couldn't quite put his paw on it, but he felt as if he needed to get clean. Knowing he had missed all his classes, he made his way back to his dorm room.

In the halls of the dorm, there was normally graffiti on the walls, but, it looked to be as if someone went overboard. There where obscenities on the walls, drawings of fire and skeletons, as well as smeared words and numbers. Thinking it to be an out of control tagger, he continued to his room. As he opened the door, he unzipped and dumped the contents of his bag on the floor of his room. Several papers drop to the floor, including several with the name "Alex" written on them.

As Alex makes his way into the bath room, he begins to peel off the mud coated clothing. Dropping it to the floor, clumps of dried dirt fall off. The only thing left on him now was his wet boxers. He pads over to the shower and turns on the hot water, as well as a little cold. He stands there and feels the water to make sure the temperature is acceptable before shedding the last bit of clothing he has on. His sheath is white, as well as his belly, his back fur and the majority of the rest of his fur is gray. As he steps into the shower he murrs softly. His fur filling with warm water and loosening the clumps of mud in his fur. He reaches for a bottle of oil and begins massaging it into his fur. As he washes the oil from his fur, he murrs and relaxes, dunking his head under the running water. He hisses as the water stings his open wound on the back of his head. He tries to clean it the best he can, than decides he needs to rest.

After exiting the shower Alex steps into his room once more and flops onto his bed, than sets an alarm, so he can try to get to class on time in the morning.

The alarm sounds and Alex rolls from his bed, turning off the alarm, he gathers another group of clothing that wasn't dirty, and makes his way to class with the appropriate books. Alex padded along normally to his class, looking around for the other students as he noticed there weren't any other students scattering along to their classes. He shook it off and figured his clock was wrong again and padded along into a lecture hall.

As he passes into the main hall the air smells rank. As if there was a sandwich left under someone's bed for months. He gags and than covers his nose with his paw and his shirt. Struggling to maintain composure, he makes his way to a lecture hall and opens the door. What he saw next pushed him over the edge. He vomit's the contents of his belly onto the floor as he sees the maddening sight before him.

Within the lecture hall there are hundreds of deformed and dismembered bodies heaped into piles, flies and maggots buzzing and making audible squishing sounds. A moan can be heard as he looks up to see one still alive. He coughs and looks on in both fear and awe as the being rolls down the heap of corpses until it hit's the bottom. He struggles to keep his composure as tears stream through his fur. The being crawls toward him only using it's arms because it's legs seem not to be in working order. The being almost makes it half way up the lecture hall's carpeted walk way before a professor walks from behind a pillar. The professor looks up at Alex and shakes his head, than grunts as he lifts a long blood stained lead pipe. The professor begins to growl as he looks at the crawling being "Why do you give them HOPE!" with that last word the pile swings over his head and splatters the contents of the crawling being's head all over the floor. Gasping at the act he just witnessed Alex stands there in shock. The professor looked up at him and growls. "What are you doing here anyway? You where supposed to be moved out 3 days ago."

Three days ago? What was he talking about? Three days ago he was in this very class, listening to the professor he just witnessed destroying a being's life speaking about ethical treatment to all being. He opened his maw, but nothing would come out save a squeak and than a dry heave as his belly revolted against him. The professor looked at him again than blinked "Alex? Is that you?" he padded closer to look at him "Dear lord boy. What are you thinking?" Alex dropped to his knees and began weeping, his head hanging as he sniffles and wipes his nose. The professor placed the pipe across the seats once more, and moved to the side of the canine he once taught. He knelt beside him and caressed his back. "do...you even...know what has happened?" Alex blinked than shook his head. The professor sighed and than petted the canine that would soon begin to fear much more than failing grades.

"There was an asteroid.... It passed too close to the moon, and it was pulled in a sling shot action to our planet. The rocks scattered and sprayed all into the ocean...well...most of them did.... When they hit the ocean, they caused mass evaporation of the waters they hit, causing storms to flash out of nowhere. When furs noticed that the rocks where headed toward the land, they began to loose their minds. Some began to kill others, others began to kill themselves. During this time, the government decided they where going to combat these rocks that where hurdling at us. Well....they didn't do a good job...they used an experimental field barrier that shattered the rocks and stopped most of the others, but at the same time released an airborne agent into the atmosphere. By this time, the sun had quit shining and the government began sending in troops to round up the survivors. Most didn't want to go, so the government began moving furs by force. At first it was one or two resisting, than it began to grow, the civilians began to revolt against the army. The army began to open fire on civilians. Many where outraged until they began to see what the government had secretly instructed the army to do. The airborne agent had begun to mutate certain furs. Ones that had genetic deformities, weather it be albino, or webbed paws, the airborne agent attacked their cells and began a rapid mutation, deforming them and causing them to lash out against everything. The people began to revolt against each other, fathers taking children away from their mothers for fear of the mutation to spread, children attacking other children for them being different. Well...the government began to lose control at that point, as their own army began to brake ranks and join in the civilian's witch hunt to separate the ones that would be destroyed to maintain the greater good...." the professor sighs and looks at the canine that was still sobbing, trying to absorb all these horrific things that he could barely believe had happened. "and....I was there....when....I saw it..." his paw reaches to Alex's ears as a futile attempt to comfort him "I saw.....your family....."

Alex looked up at him with glistening eyes, awaiting to hear what happened to his kin. The professor opened his maw, and than stops. He began to growl, maw open, than his back arched. He fell over on the ground beside the canine. Alex whimpered and stood up, than backed away from him. His lab coat began to shred and stick to the thick scales ripping through his skin. Alex backed away and whimpered. He turned as fast as he could and crashed through the doors. He ran for what seamed like hours before he reached the edge of campus. He looked out into the streets, trying to figure out what was going on, still deep in shock from the events he had just witnessed and heard..... What is going on? What happened to my family? Where is everyone?

.......to be continued.

Ok....this isn't my first story, but I am trying to revise my writing style and story type....I know some people will have comments, but please...don't be too negative....remember...you didn't write it, I did.
