At War
#5 of Poems
I had some motivation last night and I came up with this and now I'm deciding to share it.
War.
A deadly subject known to man,
As people clash hand to hand
For justice, freedom, and liberty
Or for corruption and destruction upon many.
The peak of differences and disagreements lead to this act
As no acceptance or change causes it,
For one must fight to gain what's desired,
As thought by many people and many others.
Religion, Rights, and Equality play apart for the reason of war
So do the beliefs of man and society with it.
War can be stopped, prevented, and even non-existent if everyone was at peace.
Though with different minds and ways there is no way,
Unless, differences are settled peacefully and everyone unites
To form a one perfect world
Everyone wishes for.
For now, We are still at war with each other.
Deaths and blood havoc among the world.
War destroys our sanity and the threads holding mankind together.
Making life full of hate and destruction like no other.
