Benny's Secret Swim
Benny goes to a lake for a quiet swim by herself (or so she believes).
Benicia Martinez walked down the dirt path to a deep blue lake outside of town. it was a hot Summer day. She wore her red string bikini which Sis had given her. And she carried a purple beach towel over her shoulders. Benny had her dirty baseball cap on her head.
While she walked, Benny thought about Blazer. "I should have invited him to go swimming with me today." Benny stopped and sighed.She stared at the sun, her face was sweaty. Benny continued to walk toward the lake. She placed her foot into the water and quickly removed it. "That's cold," she said shivering. "But it was better than standing out here in the hot sun" Benny spread her towel on the sandy ground "And sweating like a boy."
Benny stepped into the cold blue water. Her arms wrapped around her chest. She went into the chest deep water and dove under, Benny swam to a nearby rock.
She removed her bikini top and tied it on the rock, then she floated on her back. with her small chest sticking out of the water. Her white fur shining in the sun.
Benny is a tomboy. She prefers to swim topless when she is alone or with friends. Because she hates restrictive clothing and since she has a boyish figure, she feels she has nothing to hide. But she still didn't want Blazer to see her topless.
She is who she is.
Benny floated in the water thinking about the first time Blazer saw her in a bikini at the beach. The boy stood frozen, staring at her, Blazer picked him up and carried him ton the water. then she threw him into the surf. Benny smiled.
Meanwhile, Blazer had followed her and was hiding in the blackberry bushes along the lake with his new camera. He was shirtless as usual and wearing black shorts with red flames on the side. Blazer watched her remove the bikini top. The boy blushed red all over his furry body. Blazer stepped quietly back. But he slipped on some loose pebbles and fell into the lake with a splash. His camera was lost.
Benny heard the noise and quickly swam over. Blazer was floating on the surface, his tummy was red from hitting the water hard. He began to go under when Benny grabbed him and held him up. Blazer opened his eyes and was staring at Benny. He blushed. Benny covered her chest with her hands.
"What are you doing here?" she asked him. Benny took her hands off her chest and held the boy close to her body.
"I wanted to come swimming with you," he said trying to sound convincing. Benny knew this was a lie. Blazer pulled himself away rom her.
"Why didn't you just ask?" she said with a grin "there's plenty of room in here for you."
"I was going to," he said "but then you removed your top." Benny swam to him and put here arms around his small muscular chest "and I got scared."
"Removing your bikini top was unfair," he said. "All's fair in love and war," Benny said giving him a kiss on his furry cheek.
