The vibrations of bass were felt even outside the doors, as a multitude of species stood in military like unison within the velvet ropes.

Conversation, laughter, fist bumps and crude hit-ons were a plenty, within the group.

"Get the fuck out of here." Said an irritated Doberman, his muscular chest covered with black fabric reading 'SECURITY' in bold white text.

"What the heelll we're on the liiist!" Whined the teenage Calico cat whom the order was directed to.

"The day Donny let's a minor up in here is the day it snows in fuckin' Africa, get the hell outta here." The Doberman replied, standing firmly, cracking his massive knuckles.

"Whatever, like, my daddy's got more money than that loser." The Calico stated, walking away, her red heels clicking along the sidewalk.

From across the street, a black Mercedes sit parked, it's tinted window completely obstructing view of the driver.

Inside the Mercedes, A completely hairless Sphinx cat sat, his body adorned in a white suit, typical wardrobe of the clubgoers, in his hand was a rolled up wad of 100$ bills.

"There she is...Perfect." He said, turning the engine on and pulling out of the parking space.

"Fuckin loser, cocksucker...god damnit!" The Calico complained as she clicked down the street, turning the corner, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the Mercedes pulling over.

As the window rolled down, she looked to the driver, his eyes obstructed with tinted shades, blocking his eyes as well as his windows had to his person.

"Ma'am, do not panic, please come here." The Sphinx said calmly.

The Calico rolled her eyes and approached the driver side window, "Do I look like a fuckin whore?" She asked, angrily.

"No Ma'am, you look like a woman interested in entering that club...I can make that happen." The Sphinx said with a flat, almost poker face.

"You can like, get me into Donny's, how?!" She replied, bouncing in her spot happily.

"Simple, the guard, Rusko, he's a bit of a poor man, not getting nearly enough for his job of physically assaulting people looking for a party or cleaning vomit from his shoes, so money talks loudly to him, after all, his wife would be simply amazed, might even stop her from seeing that dalmation if he were to come home with a bonus, a one thousand dollar bonus." The Sphinx said, in a quick, unpuncuated speed.

"Uh...what?" The Calico responded, her eyebrow raised.

"My apologies...I'm suggesting bribary." The Sphinx said smiling, "Mind getting in?"

Too excited about the prospect of entering the club in her youth to think clearly, the Calico hopped into the passenger side of the Mercedes, closing the door and adjusting her skirt, as the Sphinx pulled out of the spot and proceeded down the road.

"So, uh, where are we goin'." Asked the Calico.

"Worry not, simply around the block, while I explain what my end of this bargain is." He replied.

"Look, I aint gonna...do anything...ya know...I mean I don't even know your name!" She said, looking at the Sphinx with a curious glance.

"My name is Spade." He said, keeping his monotone voice as it had been since they met minutes ago.

"Glacier, like, the moving ice things." the Calico said, smiling.

The Mercedes parked, on the street before Donny's Club, as Spade shifted the car into park. "Now, Do you understand?"

"I guess so, pretty easy way to get in, thanks hun." Glacier said with an eager squeak.

As Glacier exited the vehicle, she leaned over, planting a kiss on Spade's whiskered cheek, and shutting the door, happily clicking towards the velvet ropes she had wandered from.

"I thought I told you to get fucked!" The Doberman said, looking at her angrily.

"Yeah yeah, here, lemme in." She said, flashing the wad of 100's handed to her by Spade.

Rusko's jaw dropped as he nodded, "Get in there before I change my mind, and thanks for the donation." He said firmly.

"At least twenty of em' are higher than a kite on Four Twenty...what do you think Sam, X?" Asked a Komodo Dragon, standing in an office with a large window revealing the entirity of the dance floor and it's inhabitants below him.

"Prolly that, crack, meth, and god damn heroin all blended into a shake that'd make Camden look good." Replied a Bengal Tiger, walking up and standing next to him.

The pair wearing matching blue tuxedos, considered tacky by most, but to the clubgoers, it was the uniform they learn to respect, worn by the owners and VIPs of the club.

"Gross, another shirtless ape." The Komodo said with a look of disgust.

The Tiger rolls his eyes and sits down at the desk adjacent the window, "Then don't look."

A knock on the door attracted the attention of the Komodo, as he walks towards it and opened the slot on the eye level of the door, meeting the gaze of a black wooled Sheep.

"Sir, Some chick here to see ya...She says she got an important message...she wouldn't stop askin'." The Sheep said with a concerned look.

"Why not, send her in." The Komodo said with a sigh, walking to the other desk, larger than the one that the Bengal had stationed himself in, taking a seat and crossing his hands.

Glacier walked into the room slowly, her tail tucked between her legs, "Uh, are you Donny?"

"Ha!" Donny exclaimed, his scaly hand slamming off the desk as he laughed, and he stood up, "Does a fish like swimming, does fire burn shit, do cars have tires, Fuck yeah I'm Donny, how can I help ya young miss." He said with a grin and adjust of his tie.

"Uh, this is for you, a friend of mine said he needs you to have it, or somethin, heh..." Glacier said, offering a red envelope to Donny, to which he took it and smiled.

"Is that all you got for me babe...?" Donny said with a grin.

"Uh...yeah...bye!" Glacier said, heading for the door and leaving, pulling it shut behind her.

Confused, but interested in his red clad letter, Donny sat back down and used his claw to open the envelope.

"Well, what is it, smack, cash, smack and cash?" The Bengal said sitting up.

"...It's a fuckin card." Donny said, flipping the envelope's contents in view of his colleague, showing an ace of spades, the Bicycle logo in the center.

"Prolly an old Gamblin buddy of yours?" Asked the Bengal curiously, standing up.

"I have no idea..." Donny said, as he looked back into the envelope, his eyes beaming wide in shock. "What the fuck..."

"What is it boss?" Asked the Bengal, standing up quickly in response.

Donny stayed silent, as he emptied the envelope fully onto the desk, two more objects and the playing card now littered his desk, one of them was a shell casing from a nine milimeter, and the third was a miniature microphone, attatched to a small circuit board, a flashing green light near it.

"What the hell is it Boss?" The Bengal asked again.

"A fucking bug." Donny said, his hand reaching into his coat, gripping his sidearm.

The Bengal followed suit, his paw wrapping around his gun as there was another knock at the door.

The pair, with their newfound nervousness, swung their respective weapons towards the door and flipped the safeties off in near unison, the hammer of The Bengal's 44 magnum sliding back, and the slide of Donny's 45. caliber 1911 slid back and lodged a bullet in place.

"Who's there...Got a warrant?!" Yelled the Bengal.

"N- No boss, just me, open up" Yelled the voice of the sheep over the music of the bottom floor.

Walking slowly towards the door and hiding his gun behind his back, the Bengal slid the slot open and once again greeted the Sheep's gaze.

"Sorry, a little on edge..." The Bengal said, opening the deadbolt and the door afterwards.

"You should be." Said a monotone voice behind the sheep.

Before he could react, his fur was matted in the crimson remains of the Sheep's skull, his own shoulder piercing with pain as The Bengal fell to the ground, as his eyes looked up, he was met with the gaze of Spade, his gun falling to the ground as he looked into the barrel of a still smoking suppressor, before another softened clink was heard and the Bengal joined the Sheep in fate.

"What the hell?!" Donny exclaimed, re-raising his weapon towards the door, before he was able to fire, Spade spun around the corner, firing another suppressed shot towards the Komodo, his hand splattering blood as the bullet connected with the 1911's handle.

"Fuck!" Donny yelled in pain, falling into his chair momentarily, before standing back up and snarling at Spade.

"Recognize the casing?" Spade asked with a calm expression, a drop of his victims' blood falling from his shades.

"Of course...it was the one that booked me, what of it?!" Snapped Donny, holding his bleeding hand and snarling still.

"The man who's daughter you took, has asked me to do him a small favor." Spade said, calmly alligning his already raised pistol with the Komodo's forehead.

Donny snarled one final time before jumping towards the Sphinx, as he lunged, Spade fired, and stepped calmly to the side, the now lifeless body of Donny landing face first into a bookcase, knocking the now deceased's favorite literature atop of him.

With a soft chuckle, Spade flipped the safety on his weapon, and slowly closed the door, looking out the window, thankful that nobody had seemed to notice the gunfire, his eyes meeting an ecstatic Glacier, downing a shot glass filled with an unknown alcohol.

"Young ignorance...party on." He said to himself, tucking the gun into his waist, and kneeling down towards the deceased Bengal and placing his 44. on the opposite end.

Pulling his phone from his pocket, he aimed it's camera lens at the body of Donny, taking a few shots from a few different angles as he walked across the blood stained carpet of the office.

'House Wins' He texted to a contact listed as 'Customer', and attached the several pictures to the message, hitting the send button, he waited for a few moments before recieving a reply, much quicker than he had anticipated, accepting it and viewing a message that made him smile 'Normally those words piss me off but not today, payment is already wired, thank you very much'.

At reading the message, Spade walked out of the office, shutting the door firmly behind him and down the stairs, to the bar where Glacier sat.

"Oh hey, it's you, thanks aga....again haha!" She said at seeing Spade, obviously intoxicated.

"Not a problem, if anyone contacts you in the next few days, you tell them the truth, nothing but the truth, understand?" Spade said, firmly, looking over his shades, his dark red eyes meeting her crystal blue ones, sending a shiver of fear down her spine.

"A absolutely, sir!" She said, sarcastically saluting him in a terrible posture as she giggled uncontrollably.

"Good to know." Spade replied, adjusting his shades and walking towards the door.

"Like, who was that guy." Asked a Poodle, whom Glacier had met inside the club, her now drinking partner.

"His name was Slade or Fade or somethin...cool guy...kinda cute...even though hes so b b bald!" She said, putting her head down on the bar and resuming her laughter.

Spade sat down in his Mercedes, wiping the dried blood from his shades with a handkerchief, and placing his newly confiscated 44. into the glovebox, pulling the driver side door shut as he turned the engine on, pulling out of the spot and heading towards the freeway.
