Derrick's Secret III

SWSP ................................................................................................................................................

Derrick nervously paced around his room with tail slashing from side to side across the floor. He was tense. Tense because he knew this was the day Coach Roc was to reveal a secret he had kept from the panther until before he was to graduate that evening. He wanted to know the truth as he paced from one end of my room to the other in his briefs almost burrowing himself a long hole in the ground. Maybe if he got dressed it would take his mind off it.

Derrick looked at his rented half tuxedo along with the graduation gown with hat sitting on the bed. He slipped the pants on first making sure to button the back of them where his tail jetted out. He took a minute to admire the black pants which looked stunning on him. He saw his bulge poking out in a way that really turned him on as he watched the fabric poke out more and more. He eventually snapped himself out of it and continued on with the task of putting on his white buttoned down shirt followed by his red bow tie. He felt like a movie star as he walked over to a mirror in his room doing some modeling turns smirking to himself.

"One of these days, I'll just buy a tux instead of rent one" Derrick said to himself smiling as he sat on the end of his bed putting on his dress sox and sliding his fabric covered feet into his dress shoes.

He was ready to go and picked up his cell phone to call Coach Roc. As Derrick dialed the number, his thoughts instantly came back to the secret he was dreading to hear from him. He instantly hung up the phone and dropped it on the floor massaging the temple of his head. He would just wait until Coach Roc gave him the call he was on his way. He sat on the edge of his bed with his face buried in his paws. ..

Coach Roc silently got ready putting on his suit even though his heart was pounding deep inside his chest. The wolf knew today was the day he would tell Derrick the secret he had been keeping from him. He felt tears well up in his eyes making him sniffle. He with shoulders dropped walked into his bedroom and sat on the end of his bed. He opened the top door of his nightstand which contained a locket shaped like a heart. He started to shake and whimper as he opened the locket. Inside of it was a headshot of a panther with the most beautiful green eyes the wolf had ever seen. He felt a tear run down his cheek as he looked at Derrick's father who had tragically been lost in a fatal car crash in Pennsylvania and was the wolf's former lover. Coach Roc clutched the locket bringing it up to his chest silently feeling the warmth of the spirit of Derrick's father come thru the locket as the wolf held it against his heart.

"You always told me you wanted your son to live with us after we got married, what I have I done" Coach Roc said in a painful whisper. "Darrel, if you could only understand why I did the things I did with your son, you'd be proud of me or maybe you wouldn't be." Coach Roc said aloud as he wiped tears off his cheeks putting the locket around his neck before buttoning up the top part of his shirt.

He wanted to give the locket to Derrick after he told him the truth. He had no idea how the panther would react especially after all of the sexual escapades the two had done in the last few months. Coach Roc felt dirty, he felt guilty that someone who could have been his step son was put through all this because he couldn't control the desire and deep empathy he held for Derrick who never knew his father had walked out on his mother when he was two to be with the wolf who knew she never got over it when she found out the two had been dating secretly for the last year. He knew her pain for finding out had turned into an immense hatred for not only Darrel but her son as well. The divorce was ugly and Darrel had wanted his son Derrick away from his mother because he thought she would do serious harm to him if it was ever discovered he was gay just like his father. Darrel had tried to gain custody but couldn't because The State of Ohio did not recognize same sex relationships so he had to go to a state that did. That state was Massachusetts where same sex marriage was legal. Darrel had planned once they both got married up there to move him, Coach Roc, and his son up to Westboro to live in peace and give Derrick the care and the nurturing he needed. Unfortunately that never happened as Coach Roc had gotten a call early in the morning that Darrel had been killed in a car wreck when his car he was driving down the turnpike outside of Pittsburgh was rear ended by a drunk driver causing it to spin out of control striking the median and ending up on it's roof after rolling for several feet coming to rest in the middle of the highway.

Darrel was killed instantly and was pronounced dead at the accident scene. His body was taken to a morgue in Pittsburgh for autopsy. Coach Roc was devastated and drove to PA, but because he was not legally related to Darrel in any way he was denied viewing and the rights to bury the panther. He never got over the pain of losing Darrel and being denied the right to say goodbye to his lover who was ultimately cremated and his ashes were left to simmer away in the furnace until they were cleaned out and discarded in the trash.

Coach Roc stood up to go splash some water on his face to rid it of the tear stains caked below his eyes. He walked into his bathroom cleaning off his face and then doing some last minute adjustments to his collar. He made his way out of the bathroom sitting back down by his nightstand giving the picture of Darrel a final kiss before closing the locket and placing it around his neck. He buttoned up the top of his shirt making sure it was neatly adjusted before he got up to get his jacket and make his way out of his bedroom.

As the wolf made his way to the front door he picked up his cell phone from the kitchen counter dialing Derrick's number. As he put the phone to his ear he heard rings and then he got a voicemail. He shut his eyes swallowing hard trying not to make his voice crack as he spoke:

"Hi Derrick, this is Coach Roc, I hope you are getting ready because I will be at your place in twenty minutes to meet you before we both go over to the ceremony in the school gym. Love you lots, bye!" The wolf said as he closed the phone taking a deep breath. He walked out to the parking garage getting in his truck letting himself calm down a bit before he started his truck. He let the engine run for a minute before he was calm enough to drive out of the garage. ..

Derrick heard his phone ringing but didn't bother to pick it up off the ground until it was done. He knew it was Coach Roc and he felt his mouth go dry as he heard a beep tone letting him know he had a new message. He reached down to pick up his phone dialing his voicemail. He heard Coach Roc's voice and instantly started to shake as he heard the message:

"Hi Derrick, this is Coach Roc, I hope you are getting ready because I will be at your place in twenty minutes to meet you before we both go over to the ceremony in the school gym. Love you lots, bye!"

Derrick was hyperventilating after he heard Coach Roc's voice. He desperately needed to calm himself down. He went down to the kitchen and grabbed one of the hard ciders his mom kept in the fridge. He took a big swig and the too sweet taste almost made him gag as he spat out the rest of what hadn't gone down his throat into the sink.

"Fuck, this is horrible" Derrick gagged not realizing the stuff was over two years old and probably had been sitting in the fridge since the day his mom had brought it home from a party she was attending. He felt a little sick to his stomach and felt like he was going to puke which he did a little in the sink after the sugar bombed concoction blew up in his stomach which responded with a small explosion of its own out of his mouth. It took his mind off things all right, but it also forced him to go wash out his mouth and go lay down until the sickness had passed.

Ten minutes later, Derrick felt a little better but not anymore happier then he was before. He went to go brush his teeth and made his way out of the bathroom heading down to the living room taking a seat on the couch trying to keep himself occupied with phone games until Coach Roc got there. .. Coach Roc pulled into the driveway of Derrick's mother's house. He got out of his truck making his way to the front door. He took a few deep breaths staring up at the heavens.

"This is for you Darrel" he whispered as he knocked on the door. ..

Derrick was startled by loud knocks at the front door. As he got up to go answer it he felt his knees get weak as he made his way to the front door. He opened it and there stood Coach Roc looking him straight in the eye. He felt his mouth go limp and his tongue loll out as he saw the impressive wolf dressed in a full suit.. God he was so hot!

Coach Roc stood at the door looking at the flustered panther smiling at his predicament before trying to snap him out of his stupor:

"Are you gonna stand there ogling me or am I just gonna have to walk in unannounced?" Coach Roc said in a serious command tone forcing Derrick to snap out of it when his low set blue eyes bore a hole into the panther's green eyes.

"Yyyyeeesss, do come innn" Derrick stuttered making even more of a fool out of himself as he tripped almost falling to the ground as Coach Roc stood there quietly chuckling to himself.

"Thanks, now go take a minute compose yourself, I think I can show myself in" Coach Roc gestured to Derrick as he walked into the living room having a seat on the couch.

Derrick took a minute to walk into the bathroom and compose himself while adjusting the front of his bulging pants before he joined Coach Roc on the couch.

Derrick noticed there was something different about Coach Roc as he stared into his low set blue eyes which were almost avoiding him as if something was bothering the wolf. Derrick sensing this moved over and laid his head on the wolf's lap looking up at him trying to make him smile with his innocent kitty looks.

Coach Roc saw the green eyes of the panther gazing up at him. He felt the tears coming on as he tried his absolute best to be strong until a small whimper escaped his muzzle followed by a tear forcing him to flatten his ears against his head.

When Derrick heard the whimper he instantly got off the wolf's lap and put his paw around his shoulders with the other paw going for his heart. Instead of hitting his heart, Derrick hit something else that was hard and shaped like a locket heart. He felt the wolf freeze as he started to ask him questions:

"What is this you hide in your shirt?" Derrick asked him softly. "Is it something special for me to remember us by?" Derrick said softly with a gleam in his eye thinking Coach Roc had gotten the locket as a special gift for him.

The wolf felt his heart sink and his crying get more consistent as the reality of the situation hit him full force. He froze, unable to do anything but sit there and sob as a paw came up to his eye wiping away some of his tears.

Derrick was concerned for Coach Roc because he had no idea why the wolf was such a blubbering mess. "Did what he hide inside his shirt mean so much to him that he would be so emotional?" Derrick wondered to himself. He needed some answers so he gently pushed the wolf with more questions:

"Is this heart shaped locket contain a picture of both of us?" Derrick asked the wolf who shook his head no making him smile and grip the heart much more harder. "Did you write a love note to me in this heart locket?" Derrick asked in a lust filled tone to the wolf who shook his head no as he tried to compose himself.

Derrick's demeanor changed from lust to frustration as he lessened the grip on the locket. He felt his heart rate go up as he looked at Coach Roc who was shivering as if he was scared to death at what the panther might discover hidden within the locket. His patience was running thin so he took it upon himself to unbutton the top of the wolf's shirt where he reached down to grasp the locket.

Coach Roc sighed deeply as he felt Derrick's paw reaching into his shirt firmly gripping the locket. He knew this was the end of keeping his secret away from Derrick. He had to tell the young panther the truth for Darrel's sake. He took one last deep breath as he reached up taking ahold of Derrick's wrist startling the panther making him look up at him with surprised eyes.

"Derrick, you may hate my guts for what I'm about to show you and tell you. It's ok if you react the way you do when you know the truth" Coach Roc said in a sad tone with his paw shaking as it gripped Derrick's wrist.

"What? What do you mean? Have you been seeing someone behind my back or are you using this as a way to tell me we're done as a couple?" Derrick asked in a confused tone making the wolf swallow hard as he guided the panther's paw to the latches on either side of the locket.

He then guided Derrick's paw (with locket in it) out into the open squeezing both of the latches until the locket popped open forcing Derrick to move his paw and Coach Roc to take his own paw off the panther's wrist.

As the lid flipped open, Derrick looked into the eyes of Coach Roc with a confused look on his face before he looked down at what was inside the locket. He immediately froze for a second before he looked up at the wolf with a questioning look on his face.

"Who is this?" Derrick asked with a bit of hesitation in his voice.

"That's your father Derrick" Coach Roc said in a glum tone looking down at the ground.

The panther took a minute to gage what the wolf had said but then a look of bewilderment came across his face as he looked down at the locket again realizing the panther in the picture looked a lot like him especially in the face and more importantly in the eyes. His bewilderment turned into complete shock as the realization of his father and his Coach in a relationship forced him to push away from the wolf as the locket hit the floor with a resounding thud.

"What the fuck? You mean you and my father were a couple?" Derrick yelled completely flustered at this new development. This was your secret you kept from me all this time? Why?" He demanded standing up looking down at the sitting wolf who raised his head.

"Let me explain this once you calm down" Coach Roc said in a scared tone as he got up to walk out of the room. Derrick stopped him with a hard grip on his shoulder pushing him against the wall. "No, I want to know the truth, why did you do all the things you did to me? Do you have this sick perversion for young sons of fathers who don't know any better? Do you know if the school and the media catches wind of this that you will go to jail and lose everything you worked for?" Derrick shouted with teeth bared

"Derrick, if you trust me enough, you will calm down" Coach Roc said in a loud tone as the panther bore a hole of rage into him almost hissing as he spoke:

"I don't trust you for shit and I don't even think you are a 24 year old jock if you were to have had a relationship with my father" Derrick snarled bringing his phone up to Coach Roc's face making the wolf jump. You're not 24 and right now if you ever want to gain my trust again, you'll tell me everything and I mean EVERYTHING or I call the police and let them get the truth out of you." Derrick growled dialing the 911 keys as he heard the wolf speak out of desperation:

"Okay okay Derrick, you got me, I'm not twenty four. I was twenty four when you were two. I'm nearly forty though I do not look it at all" Coach Roc finally admitted forcing the panther to release his grip on the older wolf's shoulder while putting his cell phone back in his pocket. If you want me to tell you EVERYTHING, I will even if it means I lose everything including you" Coach Roc said wiping the sweat from his brow.

"Fine, I'm all ears Roc. You tell me anything you want because we are done regardless of what happens" Derrick growled as he plopped down on the end of the couch as Coach Roc found a chair in the kitchen and set it on the living room floor directly in front of where the panther was sitting.

"You may change your tone once you hear everything I have to tell you" Coach Roc said taking a seat on the chair staring at Derrick who just hissed at the wolf.

"What makes you think I will change my tone after I've found out someone who could be my step father was raping my ass for his own pleasure at my father's expense" Derrick spat bearing his claws on the arm of the couch. "For all I know, you could be his killer ready to kill me now that I know your little secret. You might be able to get away with it when you kill me but when the school finds out I'm dead because of you, you're done and don't think they won't go asking for the truth from you" Derrick threatened bearing his teeth.

"Derrick, I can't change what's been done or what's been said, but I can make things right by telling you about your father and why your father sacrificed everything he had to get you away from your mother" Coach Roc said awaiting the panther's next response.

"Okay then, let's hear it, or the police get to hear it" Derrick said in a authoritative tone as he put his phone on his lap staring coldly into the wolf's eyes. Coach Roc swallowed hard as the sweat poured from his brow. He took a moment to compose himself before he started to tell his story to the young panther:

"Darrel loved you Derrick, he wanted to get you away from your mother who was going to hurt you if she ever found out you were gay like he was and both of us did not want that for you so he went to Massachusetts to get a license so both of us could gain custody of you once we were married" Coach Roc explained. "We had met several months before all of this came down at a football game in Independence where I was one of the coaches for their high school football team at the time and he was a scout for the school you now go to. We had locked eyes when he and I ran into each other after the game. We knew there was some kind of instant attraction so we didn't want both our schools finding out so we set up a date to meet up for coffee in Akron since both towns would catch us and our jobs would be in jeopardy" Coach Roc continued in a smooth tone

"We instantly hit it off the first date and your dad eventually moved in with me forgetting to divorce your mother who found out about the relationship through one of her friends who worked in the school receptionist office. One night she broke into our apartment and destroyed it when we were not there. She wrote a threatening note vowing to expose our relationship to the entire State and if it was ever discovered you were gay, she would hurt you seriously, so much so that we feared you might be killed" Coach Roc continued making up things as he went.

Derrick stared stone faced at Coach Roc not even flinching as he interrupted the wolf:

"So basically you are telling me in no exact words that my dad was a closeted gay all the years he was married to my mom and all of a sudden ran into you of all people at a high school football game and you two instantly hit it off, BULL SHIT!" Derrick shouted pointing his finger at the older wolf's face.

"I know for a fact my mom's lawyer had said to me after I was beat up that the reason my mom wanted to hurt me was because my father had left her for some football coach guy in the next town over and that she was so pissed off that once she found out I was gay she had Crenshaw who turned out to be HER boyfriend do the job on me" Derrick hissed recounting hate crime trail against Crenshaw. "The only reason my mom walked was because she had promised to leave the house to me and then sell it once I left this hellhole" Derrick spat picking up his cell phone.

"Quite frankly Roc, you're a liar and you've got about five seconds to start telling me the real truth or have the police get the truth out of you" Derrick said boastfully while dialing 911. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1" Derrick counted down as his finger was about to hit the send button.

"Okay Okay, fuck it. Truth is, we never met at the football game. We had met way before that. We had been secret lovers for the past five years and wanted to really have a kid of our own after your father had used your mother as a sperm donor to give us a boy who we would take to Massachusetts once we got married" Coach Roc admitted as he saw Derrick close his cell phone.

"Okay then.. that's better. Now I want you to tell me the rest of it like you promised" Derrick demanded putting his cell phone back on his lap as he tapped his claws on the arm of the couch.

Coach Roc took a minute to regain his composure before he came clean about the rest of the story as Derrick bore a hole in him making him a little uneasy as he spoke:

"When Darrel filed for divorce, he knew Massachusetts was the place to obtain legal documentation for your overall care so he made sure to get all he could from the divorce before he headed out to Boston to get them to help him bring you under both of our custody once we got legally married there" Coach Roc said every once in awhile looking at Derrick whose demeanor had not changed much.

"We knew we needed some kind of protection and Ohio was never going to give it to us so we had no choice and that's why after the divorce was final your dad was on the road to Boston. He wanted to have everything set up so all we had to do was pick you up, get married and move to Westboro once the courts there okayed everything and bartered with Ohio to get you out of the situation you were living in with your mother" Coach Roc said hesitating a bit.

Derrick noticed the hesitation in the wolf as he sat there wringing his paws a bit. He knew at this point most of what Coach Roc had told him he felt he could live with even if he was using the 911 as a tactic to get as much as he could out of the shady older wolf. He wanted to know what happened to his dad once he got to Massachusetts so he changed the tone of his voice to more serious then angry:

"So what happened after my dad got to Massachusetts?" Derrick asked staring coldly into Coach Roc's eyes as the wolf flinched.

Coach Roc took a deep breath and looked up to the heavens as he whimpered a bit. He knew there was no reason to lie about what happened to Derrick's dad. He already knew the young panther was onto him and wasn't going to let him off the hook. If he wanted to get out of this predicament, he needed to spill the beans even if it brought him to tears while he was explaining it:

"Derrick, the truth is, he never made it to Massachusetts thanks to a drunk driver who ran into his car on the PA turnpike" Coach Roc said in a different tone causing Derrick to take notice. "Darrel was doing 65 in the fast lane and the drunk driver was doing 75 plus in the same lane and ended up rear ending his car to where it hit the center concrete median and flipped several times killing him instantly" Coach Roc said as his ears flattened against his head.

"I got the call early the next morning from the PA Highway Patrol that they had been dispatched to a fatal two car accident on the PA turnpike outside Pittsburgh involving a car driven by a panther from Independence and a drunk driver who had rear ended him going eastbound. They told me I needed to go to Pittsburgh to make the identification" Coach Roc sighed taking a deep breath before he continued.

"I was devastated and immediately drove to Pittsburgh in my pjs. I didn't care at that point what I looked like, I just wanted to make absolutely sure the panther killed in the accident was not Darrel and that this was all a complete misunderstanding. While I was driving as fast as I could to get there I tried his car phone, no answer. I called number of his hotel he was going to stay at in Boston and they told me he never arrived there" Coach Roc said in a choked tone wiping a tear from his eye.

"I knew in my heart it was him and when I saw him laying there on the table once I got there, it didn't take me long to burst out crying because I had lost my future husband of my step son" Coach Roc quivered sniffling as he took out the handkerchief from his top jacket pocket blowing his nose as he held it in his paw.

"When I asked to bring him home with me so I could bury his body in Independence Cemetery, they would not let me do it because I was not next of kin" Coach Roc sobbed as tears cascaded down his cheeks. Worst of all of all because I was gay and lived in Ohio I was not allowed to choose where I could bury it so they just kicked me out of the morgue and cremated his body while I sat in my truck sobbing knowing I could do nothing about it" Coach Roc cried as his voice choked up. "And since I knew nobody in his family would bother to come claim his ashes because of your mother, I saw them get swept out of the cremator and thrown in the trash" Coach Roc sobbed shaking as he buried his tear soaked face in his paws.

Derrick got up from the couch and walked behind the wolf to console him. He put his arm around his shoulder gently rubbing it as he sniffled and whimpered.

"Then why did you hide all this stuff from me and then lead this fake life so you could make yourself happy knowing full well you made a deal with the devil the minute you lured me into the chemistry office and then used me as your little fuck toy who was naive to being taken advantage of because I was the gay little panther who got beaten up by a dipstick meathead bear who was on an agenda made up by my mom." Derrick said in an empathetic tone.

"You could have stepped in as a guardian but instead you chose the life of deceit, lies, and most of all you chose the life of a sexual predator" Derrick said in a sharp tone as he sat back down on the coach to face the slowly recovering wolf.

"What I did to you Derrick, I regret everyday of my life that I couldn't hold back the intense feelings of love and protection I had for you when I found out you were getting gay bashed by Crenshaw who was a friend of your mother. I had to quit my job as the football coach in Independence to get this current job I have as the gym coach so I could protect you and shield you from the scrutiny of him and of your mother. If Principal Dana had not stepped in and done the right thing, you would not be sitting here today and I would have lost two people who I cared about the most" Coach Roc said sadly with his ears folded down on top of his head.

"You didn't shield me from anything Roc, you actually made it worse" Derrick said standing over the sulking wolf. "All you did was make my life a living hell to where you used my weakness to your advantage while you kept this secret from me as a way to control me and make sure I was kept in the dark" Derrick said as he kneeled down to face the sulking wolf. "What parent or step parent would do that to their own child? You had the chance to lead by example but the only example you set for me hurt both of us in the end" Derrick said sternly as he raised the wolf's chin forcing him to look at the panther deep in the eyes.

"Derrick, I'm sorry if I hurt you or made you think I wasn't the person you thought I was. I did it because I thought it was right. I deserve whatever I get. I failed you and most of all I failed your dad who really wanted to have a son with the person he loved the most, me" Coach Roc said with remorse as Derrick shocked him by kissing him on the lips.

"Why did you do that Derrick? I'm a bad person, you shouldn't be kissing the lips of someone who made a deal with the devil and lost miserably." Coach Roc stuttered wide eyed and confused.

"I didn't kiss you because I still love you, that's pretty much over with. I kissed you because I have intense empathy for you and the choices you now have to make going forward" Derrick said softly at the bewildered wolf. "You did the one thing you haven't done in probably your own life, you looked within your soul and cleansed yourself when you realized lying was not going to get you anywhere with even yourself" Derrick said keeping a serious look on his face.

"I don't know what to say other then I'm sorry Derrick and I really mean it" Coach Roc said truthfully as Derrick backed away from the wolf.

"For just this once Roc, I believe you" Derrick said as he went upstairs to get his gown and his cap.

Coach Roc took a minute to go into the bathroom to regain his composure and fix up his messed up suit while he splashed water on his face. He made his way out of the bathroom to see Derrick standing by the front door in his full gown and cap.

"We still are coach and student until I graduate and then we go our own separate ways" Derrick said looking sternly at Coach Roc who stood in the living room.

"I understand Derrick, if there is anything else I can do to make you feel better.." Coach Roc said as his voice trailed off when Derrick interrupted him.

"The only thing you can do to make me feel better is you tell Principal Dana the whole truth and then you leave this town and never come into contact with me again" Derrick said coldly as Coach Roc dipped his head low.

"You know I will lose my job and probably go to jail for my crimes I did to you" Coach Roc stammered as he broke a cold sweat.

"If you do not, I will tell Principal Dana the whole truth about you myself and I assure you, she will not be as forgiving as I have been" Derrick threatened making Coach Roc change his tone.

"I understand Derrick but.." Coach Roc complained

"But nothing, you do it or you walk away in handcuffs and I graduate without you" Derrick snarled as he brought his cell phone out dialing the 911 number about to press send.

"Okay okay, I'll do it, just keep it down so the neighbors don't hear" Coach Roc stammered pointing at the open front door.

"The neighbors are the least of your worries, Roc. You'd better do what you say or I'll leave a note on each of their doors warning them about you before I pack up and leave this hellhole" Derrick threatened pointing at the rows of houses on his block making Coach Roc swallow hard.

"Deal" Coach Roc sputtered out.

"Good! Now let's get going, I want to graduate and get as far away from you as I can" Derrick hissed walking out the door.

Coach Roc begrudgedly followed Derrick out to his truck. Not a word was spoken on the way to the school gymnasium nor was it spoken after Derrick graduated and Coach Roc brought him home.

As Derrick got out of Coach Roc's truck he looked at his flawed, fallen, shady step father straight in the face and said:

"Remember, you tell Principal Dana everything and then you leave this town, got it?"

"Yeah yeah, I got it. You know I'm sorry for what I did to you Derrick, I just wish you'd at least have the heart to understand I'm did the best I could with what I had" Coach Roc said in a remorseful tone hoping Derrick would understand enough to have even more empathy for him.

"Don't feel sorry for me, feel sorry for yourself Roc. You made this bed, now you have to lie in whatever condition it ends up being in. Derrick said sternly as he got out of the wolf's truck slamming the door shut.

Without another word Coach Roc backed his truck out of the driveway and sped off as Derrick made his way into his house.

As he was getting packed, Derrick reflected on what happened with Coach Roc and for a brief second felt a tear of sorrow come out for the wolf. He knew he could not change what had been done. All he could do was move on as he gathered all his things and packed them into the trunk of his car.

As he backed out of his driveway, Derrick looked forward to getting out of this town for a better life somewhere other then there. As he hit the highway heading east he turned his radio up and finally was able to smile as he left the town in his dust.

The End!
