The Lycanthrope Tails.

Chapter Fifteen

By Roofles

Blackness hit Jared fast, coming down like a damp blanket. He shuddered but didn't lose consciousness. If only, he thought as he keeled over into a fettle position. Shivering under the full moon above.

He couldn't see and the only thing he could hear was the thundering sound of his own heartbeat pounding so fast the young man was afraid it might burst out of his chest as if trying to audition for the role in Alien. Yet, even with his arms going stiff, legs having gone numb and the very skin on his arms felt as if hundreds of insects were beginning to crawl all over them; every other one of his senses were burning.

They itched, these bugs on his arms, it burned like each one of those invisible insects were on fire and their legs were hot pokers. And he felt hotter than hell. Steam might as well have been coming from underneath his shirt as his face became drench with sweat. Every muscle in his body was tight, straining as if flexing and burning at the same time like he had just gotten out of the gym.

And he heard it then. At the same time he felt it. The sound of bone snapping.

A torrent of blood rushed through his throat and he hurled onto the ground as one of his ribs twisted inward as if someone had twisted and snapped it like a chicken wing. Jared would've screamed if his mouth wasn't full of blood. He coughed and spat, desperately trying to breathe as he bent over more. Shoulders rising high above him as they too twisted in their sockets and gave a loud popping sound. All Jared could do was cry out as his flesh began to rip along his back like wet tissue paper.

A thicker, grayish flesh forced its way out from underneath his own. Furless, discolored flesh looking more like leather than anything else. And it didn't feel like his own. More like a coat that had fallen over his shoulders.

Dakota just watched with a smile on his face, his own eyes alive as he stared at Jared who was sprawled out in front of him. Shuddering every now and then at the transformation. The russet red fur werewolf crouched down next to him, not even offering a hand as he watched his mate twist and turn in agonizing pain.

Dakota was panting heavily now as his own blood began rushing.

Frostbite bit his own lip, looking away as the man before them screamed once more in pain. Tossing his head back and clenching his eyes shut as Jared ripped at the shirt he was wearing, clawing with his own nails at the skin underneath that hadn't yet peeled off. His screamed turned animal at the end, from a howl of pain into a snarl. Jared gurgled and dropped his head back down, throwing up the contents of his stomach as his inners moved and shifted around as his body grew and elongated in size. And he cried silently to himself, shuddering in the moment of respite that set in. Seconds, maybe a minute, before it'd start again.

The two other wolves knew just how taxing this was, what it did on the body and mind alike. And they both knew at this point Jared wouldn't even be able to hear them as the young once-human man in front of them grabbed at the ground and shook in pain and silent sobs.

His spine stuck up, the bones pushing against that extra thick skin. Then that skin too ripped, a loud sound that made Frostbite fold his ears back. Thick dark brown fur poked around Jared's spine, rolling down his back to just above his rear that was up in the air now. A stubby nub of a tail pushed against the skin at the base of the spine but wasn't able to rip free, despite it's efforts too.

Dakota grin only widened and he was shaking with anticipation. He didn't care how his mate turned, the red wolf knowing this moment was coming. Sooner or later. And he was just glad it had come sooner rather than later. Dakota's body was shaking and he felt giddy, able to be here now with Jared. And with that thought he moved close, giving Jared a hand in taking his shirt off, rubbing his back with the same motion and just bumping his large muzzle against the side of Jared's still human face.

The man managed to look over at him, his own eyes now burning with a liquid amber light.

"It hurts," Jared managed to say between gasps of pain.

"I know it does." Dakota murmured back. "It'll be ok." And he took Jared's hand in his own, giving it a soft squeeze and just looking at his human with golden bronze eyes that glowed under the moonlight. "I hadn't planned on it happening like this." The wolf told Jared but the man was already huddled over again, coughing violently. One of his teeth fell out and the human reached up to pull another tooth from his gums, fangs already beginning to poke from underneath them along his bloody gums. Not every tooth did this, others turned themselves. Growing in their sockets and pushing against the other teeth. More blood dribbled down the growing fangs.

"Normally this'd be done a lot cleaner." Frostbite agreed looking at the human but speaking to Dakota. "I was hoping my saliva would be enough."

"If that was the case," Dakota looked up at him. "I would've turned him already." And he rubbed Jared's back once more, murmurring soft words of comfort and advice to him. "Let it happen naturally, don't fight it. Just focus, concentrate. Look at me," he said then as Jared looked back up at him. "Focus only on me. I'm not going anywhere," and Dakota gave him a gentle smile. A smile that made Frostbite feel sick to his stomach. Specially when Dakota licked over the human's face, wiping away those tears with his grooved tongue.

"It would've taken another week, maybe a couple, for spittle to infect a human fully." Frostbite coughed a bit, covering his mouth and looking away. He kept watched, wondering why no humans had appeared. He didn't argue their luck, they'd show up far too soon as it was.

"It would've been easier," Dakota murmurred still to Jared. He reached up a hand and rubbed the side of the human before him. Jared closed his eyes tightly, still breathing heavily as his hands began to extend.

Fingers stretching farther than they ever had before; long, slender boney fingers that grabbed at the ground as they filled out with the rest of his hand. Jared managed to turn his hand over to see his palm, able to make out fine indents of where paw pads were growing like hideous tumors underneath his skin. His finger nails cracked and it was like someone had shoved bamboo under each of his nails. Jared shuddered in pain once more, huddling over the ground and clenching his hands into fists, holding it to his chest. His hand was already nearly as large as a dinner plate.

The shoe that hadn't been pulled off soon fell off of his other foot that was bent in the wrong direction, snapping loudly as it reformed into something far more animal. The heel jumping upwards.

"It'll be easier in the future." Dakota tried to comfort. Jared didn't want to think about having to do this any more times than right now. The human's full focus was on the change, trying not to die from it. Every snap of his bones were mended however, every rip healed and no matter how much he began to beg for it to be over, for death, it never came. "The first time is always the worse." Dakota went on, moving an inch closer and reaching out as if about to hug him but wasn't sure if he should or not. Instead he ended up just looking down at the human that recoiled, falling onto his side and shaking violently.

That thick wolf flesh had taken over his arms fully now and small strands of dark brown fur began sprouting like weeds along it. Spreading over his shoulder and back. And slowly began to fill out the rest of his body. His arms were longer than any humans, thicker and dangled down in front of him. The rest of his body would even it out soon enough.

Jared wasn't sure how he managed to keep his pants on through the whole thing. He didn't want to see what was happening down there, only glad that the back of them had slipped down. As within the next few second a tail protruded just above them. It filled out almost instantly with fur and fell limp to the ground much like his arms and legs had at this point. The very tip of that furry tail laid on Frostbite's front paw.

White spots danced in front of Jared's eyes as the tail forced itself out. Hot tears burned in the corner of his eyes, rolling down his cheeks. Both of which had whiskers on them now. A snout was already forcing it's way out from his face and Jared was glad he couldn't see it as that blackness once more began to engulf him.

He could hear his breathing, that of Dakota next to him. Fell the other wolf's warmth. And then felt... nothing.

Just as Lucca had been, Jared wasn't fully covered in fur yet. The transformation leaving him mostly furless, with discolored gray skin. His dark brown coat would come in as his human mind went blank and something else took over. Taking hold of the steering wheel and began to drive.

When his eyes reopened they were large, empty of thought and as they turned to look around the other two wolves saw this, seeing the pure fire amber burning in those sockets. Wide facade eyes of a mindless animal.

"Easy," Dakota spoke sitting up a little bit and opening both arms a bit. Frostbite moved over as well but Dakota quickly turned towards him, showing his teeth to the other wolf. Warning him even before he spoke. "I got this." Dakota said coldly, in a bitter tone.

If Jared attacked Frostbite, it was no skin off Dakota's back. If he attacked Dakota, the larger wolf could easily subdue the feral beast. However Frostbite might fight back and that would mean he would hurt Jared. And Dakota really rather not have to bother killing the silver fur wolf just right now.

Besides, this is what he wanted. Was waiting for. The russet red fur wolf was shaking still with excitement. Finally, his mate was one of them. Was part of them. Part of him. Dakota could show him things that he could never show a human, experience things that a human would never understand. And play with him, without fear of hurting the fragile man.

Dakota turned back towards wolf-Jared who had focused on him with those large empty eyes. Then that black nose twitched and the darker brown fur wolf took a small step towards him. It growled a bit, wincing and looking down at the wound on it's shoulder where he had been bitten. A mark that would eventually be covered by fur, but would remain on his shoulder for the rest of his cursed life. Dakota licked over the wound softly, tenderly before moving back a bit to look into Jared's eyes.

The brown fur wolf looked back, tilting it's head to one side only slightly. Then it blinked. Sniffed at him and moved even closer. Close enough to push the forming snout against Dakota's chest and smell that thick musk of the larger male. Feel the sheer warmth coming off the larger wolf, like a summer musky breeze.

It was familiar, comforting and eased Jared's mind. And he took a few moments just to relax into that.

Werewolves had a habit of turning on anything that smelled unfamiliar, be it another animal or a human. It was only the company of other wolves, other werewolves that allowed a feral to calm itself. To keep it's mind. The worse thing about a change, a transformation underneath the full moon... would be to do it alone. Or with others, that weren't wolf or even animal. Such is the curse.

Even as Jared raked his claws over Dakota's chest, cutting his flesh lightly forming beads of blood on them, the wolf was relaxed. Calm. And able to control the hunger that slowly began to take him. In that moment Jared sniffed once more, trying to find something to eat. To sate this endless hunger as if itself was it's own wild animal. Yet, Dakota just held him tightly and kept him close. All Jared could smell, could sense or know was the other wolf's embrace and scent. A strong overpowering scent that made Jared feel other things than just hunger.

That nose pushed against Dakota's chest, tracing out the muscle underneath them and over to his arm. And Jared licked softly, needfully at one of the wolf's bare nipples. He moved a half-foot closer, pushing against the larger male and bringing up his other hand to rest on Dakota's thigh; and the red wolf didn't mind one single bit. He liked this side of his mate. That unbridled, need and lust that was coming over him.

Dakota huffed, opening his muzzle to pant hotly as Jared continued to sniff at him. Lick at his chest and claw at his very body; Dakota enjoyed the pain of those nails scratching at his hide. There was so much want in those fingers. Need in those eyes. And lust in the air, it made Dakota a bit drunk on the high it brought him.

Even as Jared jaws opened and he bit, hard, on Dakota's arm. Dakota just clenched his jaw tightly, holding his mate in his arms and smiled broadly down at him.

Thick, warm blood filled Jared's muzzle. His eyes widened even more before relaxing into it.

"You act more like a Blood Moon than any other kind of wolf," Dakota growled down at him in approval. "You don't need any other to sate your hunger," and Dakota licked his lips. "Only me." And he nuzzled down at him, licking over Jared's face and snout. Forming a strong bond even with the feral wolf, such a simple gesture would be lost on any other than another wolf.

Frostbite moved further away not wanting to be part of it. He'd keep an eye out at the very least, owing Jared that much. If Dakota mounted him right here and now, the silver fur wolf didn't plan to stay for the show. Even if popcorn was provided.

Jared let go, pushing the top of his head against Dakota's chest now. Nosing down lower, at other parts of him.

Dakota let him go, moving back and kept his legs open for his curious mate. Even in a feral mind it was always arousing to have one's mate sniff such places. And Jared, in the state he was in, knew no inhibitions. And Dakota had no problem at all as that nose bumped his sack, sniffed every inch and crook and cranny of his wolf-ness. Nor with the fact Jared had begun licking it. A lot.

Dakota let out a throaty chuckle, groaning in delight.

That was when Frostbite took the cue and got up to leave. Which only caught Jared attention who had stopped and looked over at the silver fur wolf.

Dakota grunted at the fact he stopped and looked down with annoyance, watching as Jared got up to move over towards the other wolf. Dakota knew he should've strangled and mauled Frostbite when he had gotten the chance too. Now he had distracted his mate from something he had been aching for the very second he got a whiff of his mate's scent.

Frostbite stood rigid, watching this new wolf before him. Jared tilted his head to one side, to the other, sniffing at him and began looking him over. Some sort of recognition hit him and the two saw the brown fur wolf's tail wag as Jared trotted over and bumped his head against Frostbite. The silver fur wolf pulled back quickly seeing as how Jared's whole snout smelt like Dakota's crotch, let alone the blood still on his muzzle. A snout that had grown into something that resembled a canine.

The lustful act only bringing more of that wolf side of him out, showing it on his very body in turn. His hands were large now, and could only be called paws. Dark brown fur covered the backs of them and a soft milky tan ran along the side of each finger to circle around the nails.

"Heh," Dakota chuckled a bit getting up and pacing over on all fours to join them. His focus was only on Jared though. "And you were worried." He said to Frostbite but his eyes never strayed from the dark brown fur wolf. Dakota eyes slowly dipped down to underneath that tail but made no move to act.

"You saw what his friend did." Frostbite pointed out, still frowning as Jared sniffed him over. Frostbite ears shot straight up as Jared tried to sniff other places. "And in his current state, he will be a rather large problem if humans get involved."

Dakota grinned foolishly. "I don't care. I like the state of mind he's in." And he moved trying to get Jared's attention once more so they could continue what he had been doing for the much larger wolf. "Could sniff my butt all day." And it was Dakota who wagged his tail now, wanting to flop over and open up his legs for this feral animal.

"Yeah." Frostbite grunted, frowning now. "Too much information. Dumbass." He grumbled more using a paw to push Jared's head away from him. Jared kept trying to sniff other places. "There are hunters in town. More of them." That made one of Dakota's ears twitch. "If he draws too much attention, they'll come down with everything they got."

Dakota frown increased at that. At the prospect they would have to cut this short.

"I was hoping we could gradually introduce him into this. Rather than toss him into the deep end, head first." Frostbite shook his head, then grunted as the feral brown fur wolf tried to nose his behind. With a hind paw this time, Frostbite pushed the wolf away. "Now we're stuck with him like this for the rest of the night."

Dakota grinned as the sniffing feral came back towards him and began nosing one of his legs. Dakota pet the side of his face with both his hands, scratching his neck and behind his ears. Jared's tongue lolled out at that and he soaked in the feel as if he were nothing but a domesticated dog. "Whose my good wittle man," Dakota said in a cutesy voice, unnerving Frostbite even more. "Yes you are. Yes you are. I'm going to mount you. Yes I am. Yes I am. You little butt sniffer, you."

Frostbite felt the need to clear his throat as he spotted headlights coming down the road.

"We should get." Frostbite began.

"Only if he wants too." Dakota just replied still looking deep into Jared's amber eyes.

"Don't you even care?" Frostbite growled now, glaring at Dakota. Dakota returned the look and the silver fur wolf quickly pulled back, taking a half-step away.

"Care?" Dakota hugged Jared a bit as he stood up. Jared remained seated a bit, even as Dakota hugged him, Jared only ended up pushed against the larger wolf's stomach and groin. "Care?" Dakota repeated the word. "If he wants to hunt down every single human in this town? I'd help him. If he wanted to burn down the whole forest? I'd help him!" And Dakota snarled, ears folding back as Jared returned doing what he had been a few minutes ago. "I care only for him. I don't care if the humans find us. I don't care if they try to kill us. The panic we'd cause? Whatever he wants..."

"And if he dies?" Frostbite growled but lowered his head a bit, submissively. Dakota didn't even twitch at what Frostbite had said.

"You don't get it, do you?" And Dakota chuckled a bit, crouching back down to rub and scratch at Jared's face with both hands. He sniffed and licked him over. "Everything is him. And he is everything." Dakota whispered now to Jared. "If something happens to him. I will tear a hole in this world that would rip the history books in two. Because nothing matters, without him. This world. The people. Nothing."

Frostbite didn't understand but a part of him finally understood something else. Why the Blood Moon clan of werewolves were feared so much. They were insane, insane to the point where reason and logic didn't exist for them. All Dakota wanted, needed was his mate. Nothing else mattered. It was like he himself were of feral mind. That he would burn down this whole world just to see Jared smile. The insanity of it all.

"Then don't." Frostbite said slowly to him, glaring now. "Don't think of Jared like that. Do you really think he'd be ok waking up with blood on his hands?" Frostbite made sure to speak in a slow, even voice. The look in Dakota eyes was something else now, of the need Jared was showing him. Frostbite had to be the reasonable one here. Seeing as how Dakota wasn't or didn't have a survival instinct in the state of mind this feral version of Jared put him into. "I doubt he could live with himself."

"You don't know that!" Dakota snarled, hugging Jared a bit tighter yet some light came back to those animal eyes.

"True," Frostbite nodded. "But are you willing to take that risk?" And he looked up and at the massive red fur wolf. "Are you willing to risk this man here, your mate." And he said the word sharply. "Regretting such a thing? Hating you for it?" And he took a step closer at that. "Despising you? Blaming you for it? For this?" And Frostbite jabbed his snout at the house. "Even if he survives this. Can you survive him hating you forever?"

Dakota shoulders fell slightly and he was breathing more evenly, not looking at Frostbite now.

"He might not care. He might be a monster like you or me." And Frostbite shook his head slowly. "But I'm not willing to risk that." And Frostbite took a second, lost in his own thought. "I'm not willing to do that to him, are you?" And he faced the other wolf.

Dakota lifted his snout in a snarl but no sound came out and he relaxed once more.

"I know." Dakota said bitterly. "You don't think I don't?" And he growled at Frostbite but it faltered and his eyes looked down at Jared once more. The dark brown fur wolf was still just looking at him with that dumb, expressionless face with empty eyes. "You don't think I know that?" And for a second Frostbite thought Dakota was choking back tears as he looked at the wolf in his paws. Holding his face and just looking into those empty eyes. "What if he doesn't make it?" Dakota asked in no more than a whisper, covering Jared's ears as if he could understand. "What if he doesn't come back to me."

"I know." Frostbite replied. "The chances of him making it are... unfavorable." Frostbite voice died at the end. "But that's how things are." He steeled himself, a blank mask falling over his face and Frostbite voice became as cold and emotionless as ice. "Jared chances of making it are slim to none. Forced to change, under the full moon, hunters everywhere." Frostbite shook his head. "Even without the hunters here the chances of him surviving the changes, keeping his mind and not losing himself to madness are slim to none."

"You don't fucking think I know that." Dakota did snarl, drooling from his muzzle and growling at the other wolf. And he was shaking slightly, his grip loosening on Jared a bit. His head sunk down and Dakota nuzzled Jared's face and chest a bit. He whimpered now, a soft sound, as he nuzzled against the facade looking wolf that just panted mindlessly at him.

Neither of the two said it, but there was a reason why werewolves hadn't covered the country. Something so contagious as the virus of Lycanthropy, that could be spread through any fluid of an infected person to another. Why hadn't it wiped out the whole of the human population? Even with their dark desires to spread and infect every human alive? That need to spread it.

The hunters would claim it was their doing. Their means of stopping it before it spread, and this for the most part was true. They would after all go to the lengths of burning down a whole town in order to do so.

However that wasn't it. The main reason why that the human race still exists is a simple thing. Very few actually survived the transformation. Very few.

The physical toll it takes for the transformation can break bodies, killing them even before they can heal from the damage. Let alone shifting in a narrow space or under water. So many variables. Let alone if they even survived the werewolf attack to begin with, most aren't even capable of recovering from that. A werewolf doesn't just bite once and call it good. Monsters that hunt in packs, shredding and ripping apart their prey, leaving little left for any would be scavengers. It was rare in and of itself for someone to survive a werewolf attack. They are killers and little more.

If someone managed to survive the physical, then there was the mental damage it inflicted on them.

Humans have a knack, a tendency for ignoring anything that isn't real or explainable. Such as the things that go bump in the night. It's a means of survival, rationalizing the known world. Following their beliefs until the very end. So when something is forced on them, infecting them from within their own mind, like so many diseases, it eats away at them. Sinking them into a mindless, feral madness where so many end up killing themselves in the darkest pits of their own psyche.

It is known as a curse for a reason.

And for one other reason too... The very one that made Jared lift his head, pulling away from Dakota and stare off into the distance.

His nose twitched, arms flexing at that faint scent in the air. And as Dakota became distracted with his own melancholy, the smaller dark brown wolf was able to slip out of his hands before Dakota could stop him. On all fours Jared began to run, towards the center of town.

Frostbite and Dakota were already hot on his heels but the two did their best to keep hidden, secret from the humans at first, while as Jared bolted straight down the middle of the dark street. He jumped over a car heading down it. The vehicle swerved to miss the animal, and Jared thumped on the top of the roof before jumping back onto the road and continuing down it. Ignoring everything else but that scent, that trail.

While Lucca's house was off in one of the pocket neighborhoods of the town, Jared's wasn't. The house was still on fire even as fire fighters attempted to put it out. The strange flames were fueled by more than wood of the burning building and the water only dampened them, barely slowing them down as they ate everything inside.

Jared could make out the fire blocks away but he turned before heading there, a place the two wolves thought he was going. Jared moved off the busy street causing horns to honk and brakes to screech to a halt. The dark brown fur wolf was mostly covered in fur, looking like a small bear, as it moved onto the sidewalk and forced it's way down the nearly empty block. Jared nearly ran over a couple of late night shoppers but they managed to get out of the way.

They were not so lucky when Dakota followed in Jared's tracks. He plowed through the trio and knocked them out of his way, one crashing into a store window. He didn't care as he quickened his steps planning on tackling Jared if he had too.

Frostbite was above on the roof tops, bounding from one to another and keeping pace as he stared down at the duo. Then the silver fur wolf spotted it, an RV parked in front of the downtown Library. Even before the silver fur wolf could warn Dakota, Jared hit the side of it with enough force to dent the side wall.

The reinforced RV took the blow, lifting up slightly onto it's side wheels before falling back down. The whole thing shook as Jared clung to the side of it, panting against the side window. His breath fogging up the glass, trying to look inside but the curtains blocked his view. Still he could smell her scent and the hunger, that uncontrollable hunger, burned inside. The curse leading him to the one thing left that connected him to his human self and if it could, if it could rip her apart, it would gain full control.

The last shred of Jared's humanity. His own beloved sister, Tess.

Tess nearly fell out of the bed she sat on. For a few seconds she thought a car had hit them, the wall dented as it was. It brought back horrible memories of the car crash that had taken their parents lives from them. She grabbed the dagger at her side, turning towards the dark tinted window. All she could see was the fog on the outside and a blurry shape past it. Looking at her. Staring at her with dull, sunken amber, hungry eyes.

Nails scratched against the glass just then. She jumped, and did fall back off the bed. She scrambled away from the window as there was another scratch, growling sounds of an animal coming from the other side of it and just then knew what it was. The same thing that had attempted to kill her, the same thing that took her brother from her.

There was another heavy slam against the RV as if something had hit the monster that had hit it in the first place. The RV almost tumbled over on its side and Tess ended up sliding up the side wall before it managed to fall back onto all four wheels. There was a moment of silence.

The knife she held shook slightly, as if humming softly. And in the silence that was left behind, she could hear whispers. "Responsible." It echoed in the RV. "Their fault." The dark whispers almost sounded comforting. "Kill them." It ordered.. Knife in hand, she ran towards the door. Flung it open and jumped out to greet the creature in nothing more than her loose slacks and t-shirt.

It was gone, only the marks on the window and dent in the wall showed it had even been there to begin with. Tess stood there, looking around before holding the wall once more. Looking down at the hand she had held the knife with, bruised marks of the handle could be seen on her palm.

Dakota had hit Jared from behind, hard. Knocking the wind out of him. Dakota quickly got him into a sleeper hold and managed to pull Jared's growling, snarling, kicking form away from the RV before the door could open up. Dakota pulled him towards the side of the large stone library and back towards where the dumpsters were. Frostbite jumped down to greet him, after taking care of a few looky loos who were about to call the cops.

Frostbite cursed loudly, snarling as the two disappeared off the main street. Even in the middle of the night there were people out, looking out the windows and seeing what the commotion was about. "Damnit, I should've known he'd go after her." He cursed once more looking towards where she was. "A hunter..." He shook slightly before gritting his teeth. The three lacerated wounds on his back ached just then, reminding him of the pain they had inflicted on him. For a few seconds he thought he might go after them.

The snarling, foaming dark brown wolf kept Frostbite from leaving however. Dakota was struggling with holding the frantic beast, keeping him from attacking once more. Jared was howling now, clawing and biting wildly as he foamed at the mouth.

"Don't recall being this bad." Dakota growled trying to hold him without snapping the smaller wolf in half.

"Really?" Frostbite chuckled a bit, motioning with his head towards the back fence. Frostbite shifted into his were' form and grabbed Jared's kicking legs. He moved his arms with the motion of the legs but kept them contained. "First time I shifted, I ended up attacking a farm house. The two farmers didn't know what hit them. Went peacefully in their sleep. Ended up killing and eating every one of the cattle though." He chuckled a bit, reminiscing as they hauled Jared over the fence and continued to head, quickly, away. "I had the worst stomach ache after."

"I don't recall mine." Dakota shrugged, taking Jared's shoulder with both his arms and keeping his hands held together behind Jared's head. The action kept the dark brown wolf from biting him. Jared still attempted too however.

Frostbite frowned a bit but didn't say much more as Jared's foot connected onto the side of his face. Bloody lip, Frostbite gave his legs a powerful tug and the two carried him deeper into the woods.

Away from humanity, from the sounds and smells and into the forest. The nature around them, the peace it brought calmed the feral wolf. Exhausted from fighting the two, Jared just huffed and panted going slightly limp as they carried him even further, the two didn't even stop until the city was but a bad meory. Bringing him over to a creek, the very one Jared had fallen into the very same night, they dropped him by it.

Frostbite stretched a bit. "An this is why we don't go recruiting more members."

Dakota ignored him, crouching down to sniff and lick the side of Jared's face. The dark brown fur wolf eyes eased up as Dakota groomed him some more. Jared crawled over and began lapping at the creek with his tongue. His full face having grown wolfish now and that thick coat of brown fur spreading over his whole body. His underside was a lighter milky tan that marked his face, eyebrows and around his muzzle, and the bottom of his tail. It accented his features and movements.

Like the other two, Jared had a thick mane of fur that ran down his neck and fell at his sides. Twigs and leaves had gotten caught in it giving him a very earthy appearance.

"Much better." Dakota murmured, bumping his nose against Jared.

"We should keep moving." Frostbite warned looking over his shoulder and behind them. "They'll be coming after us now. At least the pack will be safe because of this." He muttered to himself looking over at the two.

Jared had rolled over mostly, showing off his belly and groin with tucked tail. The feral wolf submitting to the larger one. Jared's neck stretched up so he could lick at Dakota's chin and along the side of his muzzle. Frostbite frowned at the two were so carefree about what happened. Dakota scratched his mate's side and along his neck.

"Trust me," Dakota chuckled a bit replying to what Frostbite had said. "I know. I just... just want to be with him as long as I can, for now." And Frostbite sighed at that but gave in.

Dakota got up, on all fours, and waited for Jared to join him. Jared did, jumping up onto his four legs and wagging his tail, panting happily. Then the two began running off into the forest together. Jared keeping up and focusing on the larger male as they moved through the underbrush.

Frostbite felt like the third wheel but kept up anyways.

Jared bounced on his feet, looking more like a four-legged wolf now, and kept bumping and nudging Dakota side whenever he caught up. Dakota always slowed down so he wouldn't leave him in his dust. Jared would stop to sniff at a plant or at the earthy ground before catching up once more. Dakota standing nearby, watching and guarding him until he'd run over. The two would bump muzzles and turn around each other a few times, sniffing and licking here and there, it didn't really matter. Then they'd go at it again in another random direction just running under the moonlight.

And here ended the Chapter of Jared's Human life.

It was deep within the woods when Frostbite finally left them in peace, knowing they'd at least be safe for the time being. He left the two as they crawled under a small canopy of a tree that had bent over during a storm. Dakota placed a few more trees and logs up and over them as the rain began to fall heavily, laying out leaves and dry dirt for them to lay on. He stacked other things on top to keep the rain at bay before laying on his side and beckoning Jared over.

The smaller dark brown fur wolf did, bumping muzzles once more. The two shared a lick as they rubbed their muzzles against one another. Slowly, inhaling the other scent. Jared crawled closer, getting down on his knees and nuzzling under Dakota's chin. The large red wolf wrapped and arm around him and pulled him against him tightly.

With a single clawed finger, Dakota slid Jared's pants off. The front of which having already opened up during their midnight run. He placed them to the side, up on a tree branch, before turning back to his mate. Rubbing a hand down along his side and over his thigh, gripping Jared's ass tightly and growling softly in approval.

Dakota ran the back of his hand along Jared's cheek as the dark brown wolf began nosing his chest once more. Licking over a bare nipple and nipping his neck some. Dakota brushed that hand over his back, turning onto his side some more, and guided Jared down to where he needed him too take care of him.

"No interruptions this time," Dakota said lovingly in that deep voice of his, growling at the end. Growling a word that a human couldn't say. A word that meant more than just "mate."

Jared wouldn't remember that, but that wasn't the point as he licking over Dakota's stomach before nosing at his groin once more. Dakota just needed this, him right now. Something, anything so that he could hold onto that memory in case something happened. Anything.

The feral Jared didn't seem to mind nosing at his hefty sack, underneath and around the sides of it. Smelling that thick musk that rubbed off even onto the dark brown wolf's nose. Jared licked at it, growling a bit at that and then nosed back. Opening his steaming muzzle and slurped up the side of Dakota's inner thigh. Licking and sniffing in the same motion as he took care of his large mate.

Hot breath washed over Dakota's groin in the cold night and he growled loudly, stretching a leg out. He rolled it over, opening his leg up more as Jared crawled between his legs, curling around around his package. Using a hand to rub at that muscular thigh, another to tend and hold up for that large sack with. And then to have his muzzle to brush against it, nuzzling Dakota and fondling him in the same gesture. Jared licked over one sagging orb, scooping it up and into his muzzle. Drenching it into saliva before letting it slurp out and sag even further down.

Jared didn't stop, didn't hesitate and just let his lustful mind guide him through it all. His nose was down under Dakota's sack, pressing roughly against his taint between his legs as Jared's hot breath panted over that tender tail hole. A tongue licked it, pulling at the tender flesh and making Dakota growl even more. That tongue didn't stop there, licking once more before up his taint to the point Dakota's sack was just resting over Jared's muzzle.

Dakota used a hind paw to rub the side of Jared's face, cooing and murring down at his mate between his legs.

Jared nuzzled into it, closing his eyes and letting Dakota's sack slowly slip off his snout. The warmth of Dakota enveloped Jared, containing the feral beast inside. Letting it out to play in a controlled environment. Where it was only he and Dakota and nothing else.

Jared kissed down with thin lips along Dakota's plump sheath, it sagged to one side with the weight inside; sucking in slightly as Jared pressed his lips against it. Licking over the full front of it, all the way up to the opening before sliding it into his muzzle. Closed eyes, Jared suckled and slurped on Dakota's fat sheath. Sliding his broad tongue inside and pulling Dakota's meaty member out and into his muzzle. Even half erect the beast took up Jared's full muzzle and the smaller wolf couldn't even seal his muzzle all the way around it as it pumped and grew inside. Sputtering and churning out thick patches of wolf spunk.

The taste made Jared drool, heavily onto and over Dakota's groin as he used both hands to hold his mate's thighs to help keep himself supported. Jared didn't open his eyes, not needing too, as he bobbed his head slowly, pulling more of Dakota out and into his muzzle.

Dakota just grinned widely as he continued to rub the side of Jared's face with a paw, petting him lovingly so. He didn't need too roll his hips into Jared's bobbing head but did so anyways.

His fat knot having already formed at the base of his cock, pressing and bumping into Jared's lips over and over again. Until Dakota gave a nice hump and forced it just into the front of them, not minding the teeth in the least.

Dakota jumped in Jared's muzzle, sputtering more hot, slick pre that Jared hungrily swallowed and devoured. Jared ran his broad tongue underneath, pressing it roughly against the underside of Dakota's shaft, using the thick end of it to press and teasing at Dakota's tapered tip.

Dakota rolled his head back, resting his shoulders against the tree trunk and closed his eyes. Rolling his hips into Jared slowly as he massaged and kneaded his shoulders. His length couldn't fit even within a muzzle but it didn't stop Dakota from shoving it down his mate's throat. Roughly doing so. Jared didn't even let up for a second as he wrapped a hand around Dakota's fat knot.

Kneading and twisting it, using it as a grip to pump and jerk off the red wolf. An Dakota did growl at that, stifling a howl as he turned from one side to the other in pure delighted ecstasy as pleasure coarse through his whole body from his knot.

It didn't take long, it didn't need too, for Dakota to really howl. To shake the ground beneath him, the trees around him and slam Jared's muzzle around his fat dick, forcing it into and down his throat. Thick strings, ribbons of pure white shot into Jared.

Even as far as he had shoved it, Dakota still ended up spilling out of Jared's muzzle and nose. Around his own fatty cock, and over his sack. It wasn't just powerful, it was the sheering amount that took Jared by surprise. Even feral the wolf pulled back but Dakota held him, kept his bitch where he was as he unloaded every drop he had been saving up, holding onto and giving it to him. In the pure, rawest way of giving him everything he possibly could.

All his need and want and desire, hunger and lust. Everything Dakota was he gave to Jared, forcing it down his throat and pumping him full with his puppy chowder. Marking him, claiming him and soon enough he'd breed him. Long and hard into the night.

Even Dakota though, as he finally eased up minutes later, wanted that experience to be with Jared in his right mind. And as Dakota hugged his mate to him, pulling him against his very body and wrapped his arms and legs around him; Dakota wondered if Jared would ever return to him.
