Dreams soon worked their ways into Arcadia's mind; the mistress of sleep tightening her hold over him. His eyes were closed in the inky darkness of the dream world, but he could tell someone was close to him. A padded finger reaching out to caress his bare chest as a muzzle was pressed against his own. Arcadia explored the unknown muzzle with his tongue. Electric shivers ran up his spine when the anonymous Anthro pushed their tongues into Arcadia's mouth. A soft moan was elicited from Arcadia as another person gently bit down on Arcadia's neck from behind. A human hand traveled down his abdomen and a familiar voice rang out from behind him. "Come on, little wolfie, you cant have your eyes closed the whole time." Arcadia slowly opened his eyes as he was bade to do, and stared into a set of ocean blue tiger eyes. They were as gems set against a field of white fur and black marking; his mind instantly recognizing the face from before.

Arcadia's voice came out in a scream and then gasps as he tried to catch his breath from the dream, "But I'm not gay! I'm... I'm... not... I'm... not gay." He found himself sitting up in the room he shared with Justin; panting in an attempt to get enough oxygen. Sweat coated his sex flushed face and chest beneath his fur. His roommates voice causing him to jump again.

"Hey, are you ok? What's wrong, something has to be since you woke up screaming." Justin's voice was still thick with. Sleep.

"I was having some kind of nightmare, but it started off good. It just suddenly took a wrong turn." Arcadia explained once he thought he could keep his voice even. He looked over to see an unfamiliar look playing across Justin's face. His vibrant blonde hair seemed gray; his pale skin sickly in the dimly lit room. Arcadia rolled out of bed while he thought to himself, "I think he might have been awake enough to understand what I was saying. Is that what the look on his face is for, but what is it? Disgust? Shut up, Arcadia and go have a cigarette."

"I'm going to go outside and have a smoke. I'm sorry that I woke you." Arcadia announced as he walked over to his desk and pulled out the pack he had hidden. Justin simply nodded and rolled over to face the wall; an inaudible comment issuing from his lips. Arcadia dismissed it as he slipped on a pair of sandals and walked out of the room. Not bothering to lock the door, he walked down the hallway and steps. The full moon shone through the set of double glass doors; a rush of cool air hitting into him as he opened them to step outside. Arcadia lowered his head and he dug out a cigarette and let it. He took a deep drag; exhaling it slowly before looking up. He coughed on the remaining smoke in his lungs as the white tiger rounded the corner of the building.

Arcadia felt his groin begin to stir as the tiger walked up the steps and onto the porch. The silver moon light shone on his fur and made the Anthrotiger seem somehow otherworldly. The voice matched his appearance as his tone held confidence and strength while having a ethereal softness, "I want to apologize for earlier. I didn't mean to stare, but you have such unique markings on your face. I was wondering if you dyed your fur that way?"

Arcadia tilted his head to the side, unaware of exactly what the tiger was speaking of. A soft chuckle echoed in the night air, before the tiger spoke, "The diamond like mark between your eyes and near tribal markings on your cheeks."

A blush began to works it's way up Arcadia's cheek, but remained hidden under the gray and black fur. "Those...ummm... no. Those are natural, but I've never noticed them before you mentioned it." Arcadia took another deep drag in an attempt to calm himself down. Reassuring words formed in his mind, "Don't worry, Arcadia. He can't tell that you are blushing no one ever can. Just play it cool and forget about the dream. It was nothing more than a nightmare."

The tiger extended his free hand, the other containing an unlit cigarette, "My name is Mathos. It's nice to meet you."

Arcadia reached out and shook Mathos's hand, but his mouth was suddenly dry when he went to speak. He quickly cleared his throat so he could reply, "I'm Arcadia, nice to meet you as well. Sooo... um couldn't sleep?"

Mathos shook his head yes in response as he took a drag from his cigarette. "Yeah, I really can't sleep too well with a stranger in the same room as me. I seem to have a few trust issues. What about you? What has you outside puffing away this late at night? You can't be that stressed, classes haven't started yet."

"I...ummm. Yeah this is slightly embarrassing. I had a nightmare and woke up, so I decided come out here." Arcadia said as he sat down on one of the benches; taking in another puff of smoke. Mathos motioned with his hands to ask if he could join him to which Arcadia nervously nodded his head. Taking a seat on the same bench as Arcadia, Mathos blew out a soft stream of smoke. The act somehow seemed erotic and alluring to the wolf. Arcadia watched out of his peripheral vision as Mathos took another hit, watching the muscles pull beneath the fur of the tiger's jaw. A silence slowly settled between the two. A silence that was uncomfortable to Arcadia, yet he was afraid to break it.

Mathos looked over to Arcadia before leaving the quiet shattered like broken glass, "Are you ok? You seem out of it."

"No. I'm...um fine, just alil tired is all. So what is your major, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Psychology. I've always enjoyed helping people, or listening to them. So it seemed like the right choice," Mathos replied after exhaling, "Yours?"

"Actually that is what I am majoring in as well, but I want to pick up philosophy as a minor." Arcadia turned and flicked the butt into the ashtray.

"Maybe we will have some classes together. If we do, would you mind if I sat by you? I mean it would be nice to sit next to someone I already met."

"Yeah, sure that would be great. I think I am going to go in and try to get more sleep. If I don't see you tomorrow, I'll more than likely see you in class starting Monday." Arcadia said as he stood up, accidentally brushing his hand against Mathos's leg.

"Yeah,... sure I'll see you then." replied Mathos's as he looked away to shield a slight blush. Arcadia was already through the door before Mathos recovered his composure.

Arcadia walked back up to the room, his head spinning with what had occurred. "Tonight has been a very interesting night. I've never reacted that way to another guy, never. I was all nervous and shit. What the hell is going on with me?" Arcadia pushed open the door and tried to remain quiet as he latched it shut. Justin remained immobile on the bed, locked in a deep sleep. Arcadia stripped to his boxers and slid into bed; he noted the small wet spot that was left on them from the dream. He rolled over onto his side and tried to fall back asleep. He was drowning in his own confusion before the dark mistress arrived to re-claim him. Arcadia's night was restless and filled with more lustful and confusing dreams. Each time a dream manifested it was more vivid than the last, and numerous times Arcadia would wake up coated in sweat or pre.

"I need to call someone tomorrow," Arcadia thought after waking from an extremely vivid dream, "But who can I talk to about this, and it definitely won't be any of my guy friends. Maybe I can call Alexis. Yeah, sure I'll call my ex and tell her I'm having wet dreams about guys. But who else do I have?" Arcadia shook his head clearing it of any lingering thought about his last dream. The mistress of sleep finally showing compassion to the wolf, and Arcadia fell into deep sleep devoid of any dreams.
