Impmon asked, "What's wrong?"

Gatomon said, "Someone's calling in to report a creature here. By the way, did you think I wouldn't know you were behind Japan's attack?"

Impmon asked, "Why do you care? You're main job is take out that faker."

Gatomon said, "It could complicate things. My sources tell me that this faker is also here. With all that chaos he'll most likely be smart enough to hide."

Impmon pointed, "Is that a orb to those other worlds?"

Gatomon nodded and asked, "How did you know?"

Impmon said, "I wasn't born yesterday. Plus like you I dabble in finding out info."

Gatomon asked, "Renamon?"

Gatomon and Impmon went on one of the boats to head over to the island. It was a rather small island. The orb broke once they arrived on the island. They saw a mansion. There was a large field with plenty of pottery and well-designed vases. There was a large golden gate that was covered in vines. On the other side Monodramon was standing there with his arms behind his back.

Monodramon said, "I've been waiting for you. I see you brought company."

Gatomon asked, "Where is Veemon?"

Monodramon answered, "In a capsule peaceful dreaming. He's been this way before Reemon even touched Stitch. You must understand that Veemon is directly connected to the Darkness. Whenever Veemon sleeps so does the living manifestation of darkness. Waking him up now with the little answers I have will prove dangerous."

Gatomon said, "I hate to break this to you but you're little experiment is getting out of hand."

Monodramon said, "On the contrary, he's just doing what it takes to get the nature of this world where it needs to be. This world already doesn't to humans. We've already taken over and I suppose I have Impmon to thank for that."

Impmon asked, "You know this clown?"

Gatomon said, "We trained as assassins together."

Gatomon climbed on the fence and Impmon hoped up. They came over and Monodramon said, "You know Veemon's had some dreams, he's already had two different dreams, in them ending up with a different male. I image Reemon's preference is directly changed what Veemon prefers. I know you liked him but he's not going probably like you when he wakes up. It's only a matter of time."

Gatomon said, "Just wake him up now and let's find out."

Monodramon said, "Waking him up now could kill him. You're looking at three years without him at best."

Gatomon said, "I can handle it. I should warn you, your little copy Reemon is most likely going to end up here soon."

Monodramon said, "I'm aware of Reemon's movements. I can take care of that. There is a reason I lied to him about you. If he even touched you Veemon would have most likely woken up. If that means I have to get down a dirty then so be it."

Gatomon asked, "What happens next?"

Monodramon said, "The rest of the takeover. We own this world now but humans will only hold us back. It might sting but I'll have to send over some guys to check out where Gabumon ran off."

Impmon asked, "So you were the one who sent those humans to attack the Digimon? How did you go about doing that?"

Monodramon said, "Sorry, but that one's a secret."

Gabumon kept along near the ocean line heading north. He would soon end up in Maine where Kari was. A few more cops were sent in to check out a call of specious activity. He was exiting a forest area looking into a city. He noticed all the cops around checking the main streets. Gabumon backed up he looked closer to the short to find a sewer tunnel. He went in and went into the dark smelly tunnel. Gabumon found a small opening there was various objects to indicate that this was used as a secret house. There was plenty of supplies and Gabumon was relieved. He would live there until the nightmare was over.

3 years later:

Everything would appear to go back to normal. They people who thought they saw creatures were told to see specialist. Even Japan ended its quarantine. Gabumon was able to return to the digital world and Reemon brought his disguise back as hiding as Veemon when he was with Davis. Gabumon's emotional problems with Agumon ended when he ended up with Floramon. Reemon did his best to tag Gatomon but she knew she couldn't allow it yet. By the end of their adventures most kids had an apperception for Digimon. As for Impmon he backed of calling for both Gatomon and Kari while he tried to work things out for Renamon which never ended up working out either. Even some human adults also had the secret of what the Digimon did for the humans. When the adventures were over and the main Digimon were allowed to once again stay in the human world they did so wanting to spend time with tamers again. Reemon was a rare case to meet his tamer and hang out before Davis was an official tamer.

Reemon woke up in his own bed. He looked around seeing his red skin. He looked down the hall he attempted to turn blue before meeting Davis but now he couldn't change. The clock that was on the desk stopped ticking. He looked at it then felt a tingling vibe, it felt like the room was shaking. Monodramon had injected Reemon a few months prior this led to Reemon truly believing he was Veemon again.

Reemon asked, "Who am I?"

A black portal appeared in the center of the room.

Reemon backed up against the corner, "What the heck," he yelled.

Coming up was a small figure in a hood. The figure spoke, "So you're Reemon?"

Reemon said, "No I'm Veemon."

She took off her hood. She sat at the edge of the bed, he gasped, "Gatomon..."

She looked like a twin, "No, I can't tell you who I am yet. I have to tell you that you're not real."

Reemon cried, "Not real..."

She said, "That's right, you're were just meant to be a memory. But you became a lie. That human you saw when you meant Stitch wasn't really Davis either. Monodramon made you believe you were really Veemon."

Reemon came closer, "If I'm not Veemon then who am I?"

She looked down, "To be honest I don't think you were supposed to exist. You got too close so Monodramon had to throw you have track. Sadly Stitch had to get involved in this mess too. Think of yourself like a living dream. You've affected this world in ways that weren't meant to. But now we need the real Veemon back, and you're the only one who can help him."

Reemon looked down, "I don't understand any of this."

She came up and touched his chest, "You are a part of Veemon. That's why you believe you're him. I think some of the darkness went inside you. All you can do now is head toward that island, I'm sure you've seen it when you dream. It's there will Monodramon will try to stop you. You can't let him keep lying to you."

Reemon asked, "If I do this will I even exist anymore?"

She stood up, "I don't know. Perhaps, when thing I know for is that you'll be a part of Veemon again, and that's all that matters."

Reemon stood up looking around to see everything was different. The house was all moldy and torn down. He out the room to discover the house was in ruins. There were explosions filling the sky. Everything looked like a war zone.

Reemon asked, "Is this all real? Or a dream...?"

He walked down the streets seeming more focused on the relationship he had. He was trying to figure out if those we fake. It was only that area of Japan that seemed like it was under attack. As he went further out the more peaceful things seemed. Reemon sat down for a break. It was just at the entrance of a forest. He swiped his head and looked back.

Reemon sighed, "I can't believe this is happening..." he stood up and started walking in. There were really nice sakura trees the forest area was just that and it was glorious sight to behold. Reemon made his way to the beach. He saw a boat with his name on it.

Reemon said, "I'm really Reemon...this sucks."

He still got on feeling going back would also pointless. There was something in his gut telling him to move on. So he did. This sea was just as empty as the land. There was no one else in sight. No other boats around, There was a creepy feeling making its presence around him. He arrived at the island, he stood still for a long period. Reemon fell on his knees, "I just want to be with Stitch again...is that too much to ask?"

He looked up seeing a small empty town. He walked in and kept walking seeing a small hall in one of the gated walls. It led into a small forest that seemed to have a singular path. He followed up coming up to a mansion. The gates were closed. Standing there was Monodramon.

Reemon cried, "You! You lied to me about Gatomon didn't you?"

Monodramon clapped slowly, "You know you're like the son I never had. I created you Reemon. You were the perfect lie to cover Veemon's absence."

Reemon asked, "What happened to this world."

Monodramon said, "There was a war between humans and Digimon and we won. We drove all the humans away. If you go inside this gate and in find the capsule you'll wake Veemon up for sure. If you do that you won't exist anymore. Option B is I give you the same drug as before. You go back to thinking your Veemon, and as a bonus I'll even satisfy you myself for being a good boy. Thing is I can't have to wake him up just yet. I need more time to figure out how to stop the darkness. Even three years didn't prove to be enough. You're really valuable here don't let anything else tell you otherwise. I mean you could even end up with the love of your life...Gatomon."

Reemon looked down and brought up his arm and said, "Ok...drug me..."

Monodramon smirked as he came over, "Very good Reemon, have a nice little nap."

He stuck Reemon with the drug and he fell back turning back blue.
