#30 of Wolves' Legacy Saga

This is the epilogue chapter of the first part of Wolves' Legacy. It is intended to lead to to Wolves' Legacy 2.

"(Well, I never thought that goes pretty well, though not as expected)."

"(At least he tried. Never thought that young prince can go on without his caretaker. He really has passed the test of trust after all)."

The hellhound took a sip from his glass and said, "(That's because they had never actually met for years. Rhynsa Vantwork left that kid to die out of anger. Ifrit Schelkz won't survive without strong friends or even trusted ones)."

He stood up on the sandy beach and turned to where Ifrit and Eshdar were talking to each other. It had been the second day since Rhynsa's meeting with his prince, and the hellhound knew it. He also stared at Lilac and Albreich talking to each other, and said, "(The son of man and the daughter of moon is also one of those interwoven in the fate. Everything they know will change...or maybe, everything had changed when they met the hellhounds)."

"(But how about his brother?)" said the other one. "(The prophecy never stated about two brothers in the event)."

He then took another sip down his throat, and he felt a sensation of burning from the alcohol inside the cocktail. In the condition, the hellhound exhaled and said, "(That prince is still young, otherwise, if he ever drank an alcoholic drink, the fur line will expose him as an otherworldly being. I don't talk about the other way to make him exposed. I'm more concerned on what will happen to the refugees)."

"(We can't return to our home again, right?)"

He turned his gaze to his companion. "(You have been a good friend for me, but that letter given to the child of Firestone is prophesized)."

Then, putting off his sunglasses, he gazed to the sea, and then, as one Lycan accidentally saw his eyes, he became surprised and got terrified, as he walked away. He saw what the hellhound's eyes looked like, a yellow eye on the other side and a red eye on the other, where both had a slight slit pupil, yet the red one had the lines of a reptilian origin; a dragon's eye.

"(The end of the surface world will soon come, and only he can stop it)."
