Friendship in a Rivalry?

(Eterna City)

"Finally, goodbye and never see you again, Eterna city." said Jake enthusiastically as he walked out of the Pokemon Center.

"Let see..." Ryan muttered and looked at his travel guide, "Our next stop is Veilstone City, but to get there, we have to pass Celestic town first, so I think we should take ...route 211, which, by the way, leads us straight through Mt. Coronet."

"Uhm, what do you mean 'straight through'?" asked Jake. Ryan blinked and gave him a look which was colder than an iceberg, "I meant 'straight through', literally. There's a tunnel which separates route 211 from Celestic Town, just like the one we went through at Oreburgh Gate, remember?"

"That thing was more like a cave if you ask me, and I can't stand it. I hate dark, humid places. Can't we just take another route to Veilstone...whatever city? I don't mind getting a bit slower behind." Jake groaned, holing up his hands. Walking into a tunnel, through a mountain wasn't exactly his favorite way to start a day, especially a nice, sunny day.

"Unfortunately, that's the only route available" Ryan shook his head and Jake looked as if his mouth had just been stuffed full of red pepper.

"Besides, it's not every day we get to visit Mt. Coronet, and I don't throw chances like that away." added Jaden.

"What's the big deal about that mountain?" asked Jake, looking gloomier every second.

"It's one of the most sacred locations in Sinnoh. According to legend, it is the place where Arceus first arrived on Earth." Jaden explained.

"Arceus?" said Ryan, puzzled.

"A legendary pokemon. It is believed to be almighty and have created this entire universe." said Jaden knowledgeably, "From Mt. Coronet, Arceus raised the continents, separating them from the ocean and thus, forming the world we live in today."

"That's ridiculous. A pokemon with power to create this whole world? I mean...c'mon." said Ryan, snorting, but Jaden gave him a stern look, "I wouldn't say that if I were you. We are in Sinnoh, and I don't think it's wise to make fun of the local legends. Moreover..." he paused and glanced at Jake, "Sometimes, legends can be based on reality, that's why they're so fascinating."

"Pff..." Ryan pouted. He was rather skeptical, so Jaden had no choice but to stop the argument before it turned out the wrong way. He turned his attention to Jake, "So...what's the deal with having your pokemon stay outside like that?"

Jake glanced over his shoulder, and couldn't help but smiled. Instead of answering Jaden's question, he closed his eyes and slowly recalled the previous night.

(Flashback - Last night)

After having had dinner with his friends; Jake led Lucario and Buizel back to his room. During the walk, Jake could not help chuckling as he watched Buizel curiously run his eyes at the surroundings. Clearly, the pokemon was not familiar with a place where everything was neat and ordered.

"Alright, here we are." Jake declared as they reached his room. He let Buizel go in first, but the pokemon spent a good minute inspecting the room, "The whole building is huge. Why do you stay in such a small place?"

"But it's still nothing compared to a forest. Besides, I'm not the only one staying here. We're lucky to get rooms of this quality, for free." Jake explained, chuckling, "Go ahead. How long are you going to stand here?"

The sea weasel pokemon didn't need to be invited twice. He entered the room, excitedly checked everything before, hopping onto a bed, face strongly resembled that of a kid receiving candies, "You human really have some nice stuffs here. Mmm, this feels much better than laying on grass."

"You've yet to see it all." Jake chuckled, "Anyway, stay here and relax. Lucario and I will be out to get food for my other pokemon. We'll be right back."

As Jake closed the door, Lucario tugged his sleeve to get the trainer's attention, "What?"

"Are you serious about letting him follow us?" asked Lucario.

"What, I thought you'd already agreed?"

Lucario shrugged, "Just asking. Aren't you afraid he might figure out our relationship?"

Jake smiled and threw his arm around the Lucario's shoulder, forcefully pulling the pokemon to him, "You really think I'd give a damn about that after having almost lost you just a few hours ago? Honestly, now all I care about is how to prevent you from getting away from me again. Maybe I should buy you a collar after all?"

The aura pokemon shivered. This was the second time Jake had come up with this idea, but Lucario wasn't insulted the slightest bit. On the contrary, he still found it absolutely appealing. A collar represented complete ownership. Yes, Lucario understood his nature more than anyone else. He was a proud pokemon. He lived with his head up high, he fought with chivalry. However, if there was one person who he was utterly willing to submit to, to wear a collar for, that would be none other than...well, you-know-who.

Wanting and happening were, of course, two different stories. Lucario knew Jake just as clearly as he knew himself. Jake was everything a trainer should be. He neither abused nor exploited his pokemon. He treated them with respect, sometimes even went as far as blaming himself for anything bad happened to them. Even in his widest dream, Lucario couldn't begin to imagine such a nice person putting a collar around his neck.

Besides, Jake did have a point. Lucario found it hard to worry about anything other than being with Jake after his latest ordeal, which, by the way, was the absolutely worst thing he'd ever experienced. He'd been kidnapped. Some bastard had tried to break and enslave him, a filthy Tyranitar had almost violated him. Yet, every time Lucario thought he was done for, Jake would miraculously appear and rescue him from the depth of despair.

Perhaps, Lucario thought, I should have more faith in our relationship.

Yeah, what was the big deal about getting exposed? After all, Jake was right here for him. He'd always been there for Lucario.

They grabbed armfuls of pokechow, more than enough to feed three pokemon. On their way back, Lucario asked, "Do you have any plan to make Buizel join us?"

"Ah...well, haven't really thought of that." Jake replied sheepishly, "It'd be awesome if he becomes our comrade, but if he doesn't...I guess there's really nothing we can do about it."

Of course, Lucario thought. That was the way Jake had been since the first day of their journey - always gracious but never forceful. If other people knew this, they would properly think he was too soft or naïve to be a trainer, some might even say he was pretending to be nice, but in the end, only those who had been with Jake understood him. Lucario remembered the conversation with Arceus in his dream. He didn't fancy the whole 'saving the world' task which Arceus had assigned to him, but at least the Alpha pokemon had done one nice thing, and that was leading him to Jake.

This moment, as they walked side by side, something had become clear to Lucario. Whether the path had been chosen by Arceus or Jake and him, Lucario hoped they'd never stray from it.

...

"You guys have been stuck in here for a while. Time to come out" Jake said softly, looking at the set of three pokeballs in his hands, before tossing them onto the ground simultaneously.

There was a moment when everything became completely silent, as if someone had just turned the volume off. Then, one by one, his pokemon emerged from their containers, materializing from the crimson flashes. First was Luxray, then came Starly, and finally, the second pokemon that Jake had ever mated with (albeit unwillingly at first), Typhlosion.

Jake looked at his three companions, and eventually focused on a certain fire pokemon. Their eyes met, and Jake felt like he was staring into a volcano - an erupting volcano of emotions, bursting with streams of molten feelings. At the same time, the memories of his very first night with Typhlosion started to come back and flood his mind, how he had tried to resist yet still given in and connected with the pokemon in the most intimate, eroctic way possible, something Jake thought he would only share with Lucario. Oddly enough, rather than guilt, Jake was now having a complex feeling which he found impossible to classify. Was it responsibility, or a friendship that had run deeper than it needed to be?

Jake wanted to say something, but his lips felt like they were glued together. What could he possibly say? Here he was, trapped in-between two of the most important and irreplaceable persons in his life, neither of whom he wanted to abandon or hurt.

It was then a familiar voice finally broke the silence. Instantly, both Jake and Typhlosion were wearing the same expression: Disbelief.

"Hey..."

Slowly, Lucario walked towards Typhlosion, showing absolutely no sign of emotions but a small smile, which the trainer found rather weird. However, Jake was still quite nervous because he felt like watching two nuclear bombs get closer to each other and at the same time, praying that none of them would explode.

He was wrong.

Lucario stopped when he was just a few inches away from Typhlosion, and Jake sweated bullet when he saw the aura pokemon's nose wrinkled while his face turned into a frown, albeit for a very short moment. To the surprise of everyone at present (except Starly and Buizel, who had no ideas what had been going on), Lucario extended his hand, and it took Typhlosion a moment to realize the aura pokemon was offering him...a handshake.

"What's the matter?" said Lucario, voice containing amusement and the slightest hint of mockery, "I heard from Jake that you finally got to settle things with your previous trainer, so I just want to congratulate you."

"Err...Thanks." the volcano pokemon sputtered, looking at Lucario's paw cautiously as if it had been drenched in poison or there had been a bomb attached to it. Nonetheless, he did return the handshake, only to let go almost instantly, mind racing to answer one simple question, what was that all about???

Lucario continued to smile, but his facial expression had changed, kind of like I-know-what-you-did-to-my-lover-and-I'll-kill-you-for-sure-if-it-happens-again. He, of course, made sure Typhlosion was the only one who could see and understand the message.

Having realized that the sticky situation had to stop here, Jake finally spoke, "Alright then, your attention please?"

The pokemon all turned their heads at him. The trainer cleared his throat and made a gesture towards Buizel, "This is Buizel. From now on, he'll be staying with us. Buizel, I'd like you to meet my team. Lucario, and Luxray, both of whom you've already known. The other two are Typhlosion and Starly."

There was another silent moment as gazes were exchanged from all directions. Lucario remained perfectly still and relaxed. Typhlosion and Starly were fixing their eyes on Buizel, obviously studying the sea weasel pokemon and vice versa, while Luxray glanced at his new fellow, then at Jake.

"Oops, I forgot to mention one more thing: Buizel isn't my pokemon." Jake said when he noticed the puzzled look on Luxray's face.

"What do you mean isn't? Then why is he here?" asked Starly as he relentlessly flied around Buizel.

"Like I said, Buizel doesn't belong to anyone. He's just tagging along." Jake explained, face becoming solemn, "That being said, I expect you, all of you, to be nice and friendly with him, just like how you're to each other...Stop doing that, Starly! You're being rude!" he spat.

"In other words, he's a stalker." Typhlosion concluded. Buizel frowned, clearly didn't enjoy his nickname.

"That's a way to put it, but don't call him by that name." Jake chuckled, "Alright, I've brought some pokechow here. Anyone fancies dinner?"

Clearly they did. The conversation stopped as Jake began to give out food to his companion. When it was Typhlosion's turn, Jake spent a short moment looking into the pokemon's eyes again. To his surprise, the volcanic eruption was no longer there. Instead, it was replaced by a soothing fire - the one which always resided in fireplaces and provided people with comforting warmth in a winter day. There was, without a shadow of doubt, love in those eyes. Jake wasn't sure if he could ever bring himself to accept and return Typhlosion's affection or not, but he did know one thing: the pokemon still loved him, and that feeling had now run even deeper.

Soon, everyone, except Jake, Lucario and Buizel, was munching down on their food.

Jake looked at his companions. He remembered what the healer, Josh, had told him, and the trainer couldn't help but smiled. Until this point of his journey, the thought of missing his family had never come up in Jake's mind, but right now, just looking at his gathered pokemon made him want to shred tears of joy, because he had finally come to fully understand the importance of family. Having reliable friends to back you up was amazing, but nothing could compare to a family - the greatest support, the place to return to, the treasure to cherish until the last moments.

Right now, Jake felt like he had achieved the ultimate happiness: Having good friends, a loving mate and a wonderful family.

Having remained quiet long enough, Buizel was finally able to come up with an overall picture of Jake's team. Aside from Lucario, who he had already known, the others were equally interesting. Of all three pokemon, Luxray seemed to be the most mature and acted like a bother figure to the other two. In contrast to him was Starly, who he regarded as nothing but an inexperienced, hyperactive and frankly, annoying kid.

And then there was Typhlosion. He found the guy intriguing, being the only pokemon whom Buizel couldn't quite put his finger on, and that was saying something, since he had always been quite confident about his ability to read others' minds. Despite being a fire pokemon, Typhlosion seemed to be stoic and collected...Seriously, people always had that kind of wrong impression. Take Buizel himself as an example. He was a water-type, yet sometimes, his temper could be as scorching as lava.

However, there was definitely something odd about the way he acted around Jake and Lucario. The tension...Buizel could feel it in the air, and when Lucario talked to Typhlosion, it wasn't simply congratulation, it was...how to put this, a threat, a hidden message that only the volcano pokemon himself could understand.

And then, not once but twice, he had caught the sight of Jake and Typhlosion looking at each other, and Buizel knew it was more than simple eye contacts. Typhlosion's gaze showed resent, guilt and an intense feeling which Buizel had never seen before, thus he couldn't to figure out what it was.

The sea weasel pokemon realized that he was now a part of this sophisticated society, which wasn't just about surviving but was also about living and getting along with others. This whole new experience was a bit too overwhelming for him, but Buizel didn't run away from challenges. He faced and conquered them.

Something had been wrong with those three and Buizel would find out what it was.

After having gorged his meal, Luxray dragged Typhlosion to a corner of the room and they had a private talk. At some point during their conversation, Typhlosion could be seen blushing under his fur while Luxray giggled like crazy. Meanwhile, Starly was flying all over the place, boasting about his victory over Gardenia's Cherubi, but became remarkably humble when he was reminded of how quickly he'd been beaten by the gym leader's Turtwig by Lucario. And then, it was Jake's turn to blush when Lucario grinned mischievously and whispered into his ears, "I can smell your pungent scent on Typhlosion's body. You two must have had a lot of fun when I wasn't there huh?"

And so the night went on...gentle, peaceful, and full of joyous laughter.

(End of flashback)

Ultimately, Jake still had no choice but to take Route 211, just like Ryan had suggested. At least it didn't turn out as bad as he had imagined. On the way, he told Ryan and Jaden about Josh, how he had helped him and Lucario, as well as the promise he had made with the healer.

"That's amazing!" Jaden grinned, "Completely restores my faith in humanity."

"Yeah, it's good to know there're still good people all there besides jerks like those hunters." Ryan added, nodding in agreement.

"Speaking of Logan, what did you do with him?" Jake inquired.

"Send his ass to jail, of course." Jaden said, shrugging.

"That's...too bad." Jake said, making a fake regretful face, "I was hoping to beat the crap out of that guy."

"Don't worry. I'm sure he'll get what he deserves." Jaden said and clapped Jake on the shoulder, "Hey, I've got it! Why don't we have a race?"

"A race?" Jake and Ryan blurted in unison.

"Yup. I think that'd save us plenty of time walking." Jaden said excitedly, "We'll start from here, all the way to Mt. Coronet."

"That sounds fun." Ryan mused, nodding, "I love competitions. Should there be a prize for the winner?"

"Hold on. I don't have any flying pokemon, how am I supposed to compete against you?" Jake complained.

"I never said this was a 'flying' contest. It's racing, and you're free to choose to ride whichever pokemon you want." Jaden explained, "I'll go with Latios, and it seems Ryan's already picked Charizard."

"You're joking!" Jake grimaced. Against Latios and Charizard, his winning chance would be likely less than zero.

"Uhm..."

Holy crap! Jake thought, having almost jumped. Typhlosion, who was now standing right behind the trainer, must have been silently approached him. When had the pokemon picked up that disturbing habit?

"Sorry if that scared you." said Typhlosion, looking rather embarrassed, "A-anyway, I've been hearing you talk about this race, and I came up with this idea. It may sound crazy, but if you want to, you can ride on me."

Jake nearly felt on his back, cheeks reddened and heating up to magma-degree. Hopefully, no pun was intended here, because, the last time he attempted to 'ride' Typhlosion, things had almost ended up a disaster with guilt and plenty of beat-the-crap-out threats from Lucario.

Stifling a gulf, Jake turned his head around to check if Lucario was looking at them, which, of course, he was. And then, it was Lucario's reaction that surprised Jake the most. Besides his ability to read aura - the essence of living creature, Lucario also emitted his own aura, which corresponded to his feelings. After having mated with Lucario, Jake noticed that he was gradually able to read the pokemon's emotion waves. However, just like when Typhlosion had talked to him last night; Lucario's aura was calm and unwavering, showing no sight of depression or jealousy whatsoever. Jake thought it was rather odd, considering the whole 'love-hate, triangle relationship' thing between him, Lucario and Typhlosion.

As for Typhlosion, Jake knew how fast the pokemon could be, having seen him in action before. Still, Jake doubted that even Typhlosion could stay agile and carry someone of his weight at the same time.

"Oh, good choice there." Jaden said gleefully, "I used to have a Typhlosion too, and let me tell you, they can really run."

"It's worth a shot." someone muttered, and this time Jake jumped for real. What was with everyone sneaking behind him today?

"Buizel and I will ask Luxray for a lift. You can go with Typhlosion." said Lucario calmly as he winked at Jake, who was apparently still shocked by the pokemon's sudden arrival, as well as his remarkable composure.

"Hurry up." Jaden urged, "We're moving any second now."

Is this 'everyone-sneaks-behind-and-makes-decisions-for-you' day or what, Jake thought exasperatedly.

...

As they reached the edge of Eterna City, Ryan and Jaden summoned their mounts, Charizard and Latios respectively. Lucario and Buizel had already settled themselves on Luxray's back.

Jake's eyes fixed on Typhlosion, who had gotten on all four and was now lowering his forelegs (or arms, whatever...), beckoning Jake to mount him (again, no pun intended here), which the trainer obliged.

As soon as Jake climbed onto Typhlosion's back, Charizard and Latios soared into the sky together with their riders. Having taken that as a signal, the volcano pokemon immediately dashed forward at full speed, catching Jake off guard as the inertia almost pulled him onto the ground. All he could do was clutching Typhlosion's shoulder to prevent himself from falling off the pokemon's back.

However, Jake was able to pull himself together in no time as he finally got used to riding a chubby, high-speed pokemon. Also, Jaden was right - for someone of his size, Typhlosion was amazingly fast and nimble. He made long, consistent jumps, which was surprising considered the fact that his limbs were rather...short.

Lucario felt his paws get a little restless as he watched his lover held onto Typhlosion as if his life depended on it (which was true in this case).

Meanwhile, Jake began to flush as he felt the Typhlosion's waves after waves of gentle warmth, through the pokemon's soft fur, slowly spreading over the human's body. His flush further reddened when Jake noticed he hadn't been this close to Typhlosion since their first night.

Jake knew he was committed to Lucario, but it would be an utter lie if he said Typhlosion didn't attract him, because both pokemon were really charming, in their own way. To be more specific, the trainer found Lucario cool, courageous yet adorable whereas Typhlosion was fierce, bold and quite handsome (in pokemon standard, of course). Normally, one would say, hey, isn't that cool? _Well maybe, if those pokemon _weren't in love with you at the same time, idiot! Jake felt like he was a piece of cake, stuck in the middle of two hungry kids who were fighting to the nail over it. Man, he really wished there was a way out of this mess without casualties. Lucario had once said that sharing was the only option, but how could it be possible if he and Typhlosion always seemed to be at each other's throat?

(Nearly an hour later)

Jake was still lost in his thoughts, trying to figure out how to get Lucario on good terms with Typhlosion, until he noticed the volcano pokemon had stopped running; at the same time, Charizard and Latios also descent from above. It turned out Jake was the first one to reach Mt. Coronet, thought he knew Ryan and Jaden must have given him a handicap (He was totally fine with that by the way). Jake brought his head up to look at the mountain, and his jaw instantly dropped.

It was simply the most spectacular thing he'd ever seen in his entire life...No, even 'spectacular' wasn't enough to describe this natural wonder.

The mountain itself was incredibly high, with a sky-reaching peaks covered in thick layers of fog and snow (even though it was in the middle of summer) that gave it a cold and ancient appearance. Mt. Coronet's length was as impressive as its height, extending so long that it seemed almost endless. Howling winds echoed off the mountain, adding to its already mysterious atmosphere.

"Wow..." Jake muttered. The mountain was the highest one he'd ever seen, possibly higher than any other mountain in this whole world. Perhaps this was the reason why Arceus had chosen it in the first place. Mt. Coronet had properly been the only location on earth which had been higher than the sea level at that time.

...

They took a short break, letting Typhlosion, Latios and Charizard recharge their battery while enjoying a refreshing snack. When they were done, Jaden pulled out three watches from his backpack then tossed Jake and Ryan two of them.

"What's this?" asked Ryan, "Early birthday present?"

"No, that's a hybrid between flashlight and watch, which means it can function as either, and yes, you may consider that a present, so don't ask me for another one on your next birthday." Jaden said with a smug grin.

Jake studied the new gadget with amusement, the color fit him perfectly, "One question: How can I turn the flashlight on?"

"Press the button on the left." said Jaden as he also putted on his own watch, "Okay, let's get moving. Remember to watch your step."

The entrance really reminded Jake of that in Oreburgh City, although it was much, much creepier here, "Luxray, Buizel, Starly, you guys go first. Lucario, Typhlosion, stay behind with me."

Needless to say, all fire pokemon were confused by that order, but Jake's expression let them know that no further explanations would be given, so they simply shrugged and obliged.

While walking, Jake deliberately fell back, and he eventually made a safe distance with the rest of the gang. Now, alone with Lucario and Typhlosion, he wanted to seize this chance and clear the air between them.

The trainer cleared his throat, "What's the matter? It isn't normal for you two, of all people or pokemon, to be this quiet. Not in the mood for a talk?"

Lucario frowned. Of course he wasn't in the mood. It was bad enough being stuck here with Typhlosion in this supposedly his and Jake's moment. The same went for Typhlosion, although he just wanted to have a casual talk with Jake for a few minutes without being interfered or eavesdropped

"Honestly," Jake continued with a sigh, "You two like to antagonize each other that much? Have you ever considered being friends, not for my sake but yours?"

Unless he gives up on you, both pokemon thought, but they remained silent.

"Stubborn, aren't we?" Jake shook his head disapprovingly, "I'm the source of this conflict, right? May be I should just disappear."

"No!" Lucario and Typhlosion blurted out at the same time, both looking rather shocked.

"Why not?" Jake sighed, "You two are important to me, one way or another, and if my absence can help you become friends, so be it."

"What's about us?" Lucario said, finding it extremely hard not to shout, "What's about our feelings? Do you care about what'd happen to us if you were to leave?"

"Besides, running away is an act of cowardice," Typhlosion added, "The Jake we know would, by no means, do such a thing."

"Then stop head-butting!" Jake wailed, "You're right about one thing, Typhlosion, I can't leave you, but it has nothing to do with cowardice. I've mated to both of you, for god's sake! I'm bound to you in a way that my consciousness doesn't allow me to break. In return, I just want you to be nice with each other. Is that too much to ask?"

Lucario and Typhlosion felt like someone had just punched them in the stomach. However, their resentment was quickly changed into shame, not only because Jake had finally snapped, but also because his words had exposed their selfishness. Sharing love wasn't easy, that for sure, but whether they liked it or not, they were still comrades, and when it came to teamwork, there was no place for insecurity and distrust.

Jake smiled. From the looks on their faces, he knew Lucario and Typhlosion had finally understood the concepts of this whole problem, and they both were willing to change for the better. The trainer knew he shouldn't expect any drastic development anytime soon, but a slow and steady process would always bring the best results. They just needed motivation and luckily, Jake had already had everything planned.

"Well, I think we'll be stuck with each other for a while." said Jake, hand travelling down to grab Typhlosion's and Lucario's paws. He gently squeezed the soft, furry paws, "But hopefully, we'll be rational and get along better, okay?"

Both pokemon said nothing as they were flushing bright red as if the heat from Jake's hands was being transferred directly to their faces.

Jake grinned, "Silence is consent then. I'm counting on both of you."

"Hey, you three are going to slow! What's the matter?" Ryan's voice echoed off the cavern's walls, and Jake shouted in reply, "Nothing! We'll be catching up in a minute."

Tightening his grip around Lucario's and Typhlosion's paws, Jake picked up the pace and effortlessly pulled the two pokemon along with him as they offered no resistance at all.

The next hour was pretty much unclear to both Lucario and Typhlosion. When the two had finally reached the others, Buizel started bombarding them with questions. Of course they refused to answer, but Buizel just wouldn't give up and that really got on both pokemon's nerves. Things were nearly out of control until Jake finally stepped in and reminded Buizel to respect others' privacy.

(Moments later)

Walking out the tunnel exist, Jake sighed in relief as he enjoyed the fresh air and felt the sunlight on his face. He really hated dark and damp places.

As the gang approached Celestic town, they noticed something strange going on. From somewhere inside the town came the sound of sirens and the locals were moving to that direction.

"What's going on over there?" Jake wondered, gazing at the moving crowd.

"Why don't we go there and find out?" Ryan suggested.

They were led to a temple-like ruin at the town's center, which was surrounded by police and the pokemon rangers. A large chunk of wall had been decimated, resulting in an ugly mark on the ancient structure.

The whole place was barricaded so no citizen could enter it. However, Jake noticed a young lady in a not-so-casual grey dress talking to several pokemon rangers. The trainer wondered who she was, but Jaden immediately answered that question for him, "I...I can't believe our luck. It's her!"

"You mean the one wearing grey?" Jake inquired, "Just who in the world is she?"

"Someone I've always wanted to meet." Jaden stammered, his eyes gleamed with a blazing desire to battle, "The unbeatable champion of Sinnoh - Cynthia."

(To be continued)
