Flight Academy: Chapter 6
#6 of Flight Academy
Again, still not for all ages. I have, half minded, created another chapter to the story. Took me WAY to long as usual but its here and I hope you enjoy it.
Chapter 6: Possibilities are normal
Its early morning, about six o' clock, and the sun is barely giving signs of its existence. An alarm goes off over the intercom that throws everyone out of their lucid dreams and/or nightmares. Staal is the first to get up, quickly prepping breakfast as everyone else attempts to go back to sleep. He walks into the main room where everyone is sleeping with a pair of pans he found in the cupboard. "That was a sign people, get up." When no-one responds, Staal smirks, "Guess I have to get you up myself" He begins to slam the pans together, creating an uproar of metallic noise and, in turn, throwing those who were still asleep out of their bed. Corelec is the first to speak up, "You're enjoying this too much owl" he then gets up and walks into the kitchen to get what breakfast was prepared for him. Uski and Tanikaze mumble to themselves as they walk into the kitchen and Shiro lies unresponsive on the couch. Everyone gets their meal which consists of some crackers, lettuce, and peanut butter.
It takes a good half of an hour without speaking for the intercom to show up again. "I understand that we have put you all through some horrible events recently" The familiar voice of the man in the tower. "but we have sent you gifts and an apology! Come out of your dorms or we may have to take further action. I do not expect everyone to walk out and I won't do anything if a majority comes out. That, however, requires most of you to leave. You have ten minutes to decide or I will send in staff to take action. I assure you that anyone that leaves will be perfectly safe." The intercom clicks and the sound of doorknobs begins to resound through the hallway. The group within the dorm room looks between themselves. "I guess were going to have to leave, huh?" says Corelec. Staal and Tanikaze look at each other quizzically, "I actually think that we should stay. By the sound of the hallway, we are but a few that are staying inside." Says Tanikaze. Shiro and Uski are gathering some things in their bags when Corelec responds, "I think we should leave so we don't end up being hunted down by 'staff'." Staal stands by Tanikaze and says, "I would have to agree with Tanikaze, after all, we have the handgun." Corelec opens the door without another word and walks off. Uski and Shiro, who are both packed and ready, walk towards the door, "Sorry Tanikaze, I would have to agree with the dragon" Shiro nods, "Aye, me too. It would take a deathwish to go against what they have as an arsenal" Uski and Shiro walk out with their bags, leaving Tanikaze and Staal to sit in the room.
