Chapter 1

So many things ran through my mind as I quickly made my way home. My safe haven, my only get away from the world, was only about three miles away. The air smelled cool as I breathed it into my lungs, trees were blurring by me, around me, as if moving out of my path. The dark of the night embraced me, my heart beat with all the excitement of a creature of the night. It had been so long since I'd been home. I missed my bed, my cat, my books, my beer, and the fact that my small cottage was completely hidden from anyone's eyes. I had crafted it myself and was proud of that fact. As I neared my home, a howl brought me to a startling halt. The wolves must have picked up my scent. The howl was a warning, something was not right. A second howl just to the west of the first told me someone was in my house at that very moment. I hissed, no one knew where I lived, no one. What and how did they find me? I quickly shifted to my alternative form, a wolf. Ah yes, I suppose I should have mentioned I"m a vampire of sort... No name had been given to my kind, as far as I knew there were only two of us. Once my bones contorted and reshaped as I made my transformation I howled my response. The alpha of the pack loped up to me and lowered down, crawling belly along the ground. The alpha only bowed to me because he knew I was a higher, more powerful being. He whispered my name in his head "Sonata." Wolves did not speak or talk, but they used pictures, and feelings, warm emotions, no human could ever understand. I growled at him asking what he knew, he showed me some images, images that did not make me happy, but rather shocked. I seen a handsome young male, his long black hair was neatly tied back in a ponytail. His ice blue yes were haunting dull, his sharp jawline grabbing my immediate attention. He was also clean cut, and beautifully muscular with a light tan. Supernatural? I couldn't tell, did I know him? not off looks alone, but some people could hide their true appearance. Me being one of them. My wolf companion whined, he felt uneasy about the man in my home, then again I did too. I barked at the alpha, Raymos, letting him know he was rewarded and the information appreciated. I gave him a quick nuzzle and loped off toward my home. As I neared a mental barrier hit me, either he was strongly psychic or he was not a human. My body jolted with electricity as I broke into a dead run. I instinctively threw up my own mental barriers. As I approached the man turned to glance out the window. Would he see me as something more then a wolf? I looked away from him panting heavily pretending I'd been chasing a form of prey. I continued to watch him from the corner of my eye. He was messing around my desk, there wasn't a whole lot of real information for him to find there. The desk was pretty much full of fake I.D.'s I let out a bark of a laugh. I was way too old for any real identification to be there. My vampire D.N.A saw to that. As far as vampire habits, I drank blood, when I wanted it. Contrary to belief I was able to eat real food, but I am a special case. The man in my house smelled delicious to my wolf nose. I had a great desire to jump into the window and sink m my canines straight into his tan thigh. The sensation almost took over. I panted however and shook my head at the thought. The man was now on the move. He went into my kitchen, helping himself to a bottle of beer. I huffed at the action. How rude of him. The nerve of that handsome man stealing my beer. I loped around to the window next to him and watched as his throat convulsed, as he swallowed the liquid. I bristled up all my fur and let loose a furious growl. He turned toward me slowly, putting the bottle down He smiled at me letting his fangs show. "Quite a scheme you got going on lovely lady." I froze how did he know? It just doesn't seem real. No one has ever found out about me. Why now? I snorted at him. "Not a talker then?" He laughed deep in his throat. "It might help if we were the same species then. Perhaps if you would change back to your normal form?" I growled a "no." Baring my teeth at him. There was no way I was going to change back. In my current lusts I would not be able to control myself. It's the reason I left the city in the first place. I watched as his lips formed a cruel smile. His body blurred momentarily, then staring back at me were the intelligent eyes of a white wolf. I couldn't believe what just happened he was of my kin. I gave him a sideways glance and was unprepared for what happened next. A wave of sexual frustration hit me, it was as if I'd never seen a man before. Damn animal instincts and what was this fatal attraction to this man! He gave me a wolfish grin. His tongue sliding out to lick his muzzle. I knew he was tasting me on the air around him. I whined clearly uncomfortable. He stepped toward me, eyes fixated on me. I yelped and ran for the forest like a bat out of hell. The sound of glass shattering informed me that he'd busted through pursuing me. I knew my skills as a wolf were honed, but his could be as well. I felt my legs start to resist as primal needs started to take over. It'd been so long since I'd fed and I'd never ever given myself into any man as far as sex goes. I heard him gain on me and then my legs gave out, sending me into a rolling tumble. I landed on my back, belly up, in the submission position. I was screwed literally. Another whine came from my throat as he caught up and had began sniffing around my white form. I turned to look at him, only to find a wolfish grin and a bark of a laugh. I huffed at him and got up. I forced my change, causing my bones to reshape, and snap as I made my shift. I could hear his bones doing the same. He had finished first. "I know who and what you are, Sonata, or should I call you "Sin?" That is what you've been calling yourself isn't it? Do you not recognize me?" He was smirking at me, which pissed me off slightly, causing certain needs to diminish behind my anger. I pretended to brush off my naked body while eyeing him up. He did look similar to someone from my past, but the hair was all wrong. He tsked me, his icy eyes looking over me. "Hard to forget a body like yours. I'm still not sure why you chose to look anorexic though." He approached me laying his fingers against my bicep. "Or is it easier to attract your victims this way?" He smiled at me cruelly causing me to cringe. His fingers tightened on my arm as I tried to pull away. "So you truly do know me then." A wave of power jolted up my arm. I knew him alright. "What can I do for you Master Ahgony." I stretched my neck out to offer him sustenance. It was a response that any lower ranking vampire offered their sire. To my surprise he pulled me in close and hugged my naked chest to his. He slid one hand down to the small of my back pulling me into all of him. "What the hell Ahgony! What has gotten into you?" He pushed me back to look into my eyes. "I am just glad you are well, as my blood line as been disappearing as of late. I am checking in on all of my lessers to make sure they are alright, as well as gathering them up to provide the protection I am suppose to." His eyes went to the ground for a moment before he continued. "You are the most important vampire in my bloodline, as you are potentially the most powerful." I laughed letting my guarded image down, my true ugly self showing through the glamor "You're telling me? The most unlikely vampire, that I could be the most powerful in your line? You know that's really funny that you had, and have such interest and high hopes of me. I remember the night, the night I died, and I am a very unlikely vampire." He smirked at me amused with my original body. Which in my opinion was hideous. At five eleven I was a giant in the small town I had lived in. I was also very overweight at a size twenty dress. I was definitely nothing special. Light brown hair, plain brown eyes, pretty much an outcast. I started clinching my fists at the teasing, the harassment I had to endure on a daily basis. However what sent me over was a man. "He shattered my soul..." I faded off trying not to remember. Ahgony must have been listening to my thoughts. "Yes and I got him for you didn't I?" He groaned at me. "If I hadn't smelt the blood you would have truly died you know. Slitting your wrists is also considered suicide, you'd been damned for real." He was looking over my bulgy body again. I huffed annoyed and put back on my glamor Now that I was once again my size 6, five seven, blonde knock out. I growled at him. "I was four years! I expected a ring by then, but he wouldn't even touch me! He stayed with me out of pure pity! He cheated on me constantly." I stomped the ground and started back to my cabin. Ahgony grabbed my arm and turned me back around. "He was stupid Sonata, you ARE a woman of worth. You are beautiful the way you are. Get rid of this glamor and be yourself. Back in my day a woman of your size..." "Was considered wealthy and very healthy. Yes, Yes, I know. I just, well it was the past and I'm done." I jerked out of his hold and once again marched toward my cabin. Instead of my arm, this time he grabbed me from behind, his groin pressed against my butt-ox. The palm of his hands resting firmly on my breasts. He dropped his own glamor, his long platinum hair fell over my shoulder, and his hands paled losing the tan. He parted his lips and touched my throat in a soft kiss. "No matter what form you take Sonata, you will always be my beautiful amazon." The heat crept immediately up my body. No one ever said anything nice to me, but Ahgony and he always made me terribly uncomfortable. The whole reason I left him in the first place. "Don't call me that." He turned me to face him. My eyes drifted up to his face slowly. I had forgotten the high cheek bones, the chiseled chin, his sinful lips, and his haunting blue eyes. Most of all I'd forgotten the way he looked at me, like I was the only woman on earth. I felt my hands go to his chest sliding over the hard muscles, lightly scratching and teasing. I heard him gasp as my index finger slid over his right nipple. I was always entranced with his body and the way his muscles never failed to twitch under my exploring fingertips. "Sonata if you kept hat up..." His breaths were coming out faster each time my fingers grazed his nipples. "I will take you here and now if you don't stop." He hissed his beautiful features twisting into something more beast-like. I could not help myself. I'd been staying out of contact with my kind, especially males. I was actually a two hundred year old virgin. Though I'd read enough minds to know what to do. I was told that so many years of Celibacy would eventually make me insane. I think, whoever told me that, was right. I mean seriously, here I was seducing my master. It was definitely, not something that was done in he vampire world. Not to mention Ahgony was betrothed to Rikki, an Asian master vampire. Rikki was never fond of me either for this reason. She could see the way Ahgony looked at me. Ahgony's hands brought me back from my train of thought, as they found my nipples. I gasped and slid my hands lower to his hips kneading the top of his ass. He pulled me closer and planted his lips firmly on mine. His right hand slid lower toward my core. We were on a hot and heavy trail and I wasn't exactly willing to go down that path just yet. Thankfully we were rudely interrupted by the sound of foot steps. I quickly pushed him away, I dashed behind a bush and crouched down. "Ahgony!" The sharpness of the woman's voice sounded as if she were calling for a dog. I grimaced with pity, because I knew exactly who it was. I watched Ahgony's expression, he seemed unhappy with her arrival. Ahgony greeted her with a stiff bow, as she walked out of the trail between the trees. "How surprising to see you. What might you be doing in the states?" He raised an eyebrow at the short, raven haired woman. Rikki crossed her slender arms. "Is that the way you greet your betrothed? i could ask you the same question. You were suppose to be in Japan with me." She growled her eyes flaring a bright green, before quickly calming. "However, more importantly why are you naked?" I ground my teeth together as urges of anger started to swell. Most vampires acted like Rikki did. They needed to feel that they were top dog all the time. That they were always right, in a vampire relationship the woman was weaker, so the man could stay in charge, but that didn't mean the female thought that was the right thing to do. I listened to the two of them argue about why the were in the states, and way Ahgony was naked. Thankfully he told me, long ago, that I was untraceable to anyone, but him due to my special D.N.A. My D.N.A was so special she wouldn't even be able to smell me, unless I wanted her to. I sneered at Rikki from behind my bush. When Ahgony put his arm around her and started to walk off, I felt his mind brush against mine. 'Don't worry Sin, I'll get her away from here so you can go home. I suggest you get your things ready, and I will be back for you shortly.' His thoughts went straight through my skull, almost like a fluttering of butterflies around in my head. It was a dizzying feeling and I almost lost my balance. That wasn't the first time that had happened. It almost always did when he talked to me so intimately. I watched as they departed, sighing heavily I stood up and walked cautiously back to my cabin. This time when I entered a frightened black cat peeked around the corner of my living room. I scooped him up, cooing to him to be calm. He immediately settled down nuzzling my cheek. "We have to move Smokey-bear." I grabbed my fake I.D.'s with my free hand and put them into my backpack. Matter -of-fact I just shoved whatever I could into it and called it quits. I quickly put some clothes on, the usual tank top, shorts, and my combat boots. Smokey had watched me the whole time staring at me curiously. His olive-green eyes big and round. "We'll be alright, sweetie." I patted him on the head, reassuring the over-sized cat. "Now we have to wait for Ahgony to return."

Chapter 2

I came awake with a start. I must have drifted asleep. I could hear Smoke meowing as if talking to someone. I cried out alarmed. "Who is there!?" Ahgony's low chuckle made me relax. There was no way I would have been able to deal with another intruder. My eyes met his long muscular legs first, even with the baggy jeans, I could tell how powerful his strides. My eyes drifted higher fantasizing about his slender hips meeting mine. I paused at his chest taking in every detail, the way the muscles moved every time he took a breath. He smoke causing me to quickly look at his eyes. "As much as I like the way you are looking at me, we should be going. I have a safe house for us to stay in. He gave me a sinful grin as he noticed my thoughts. Yes we. Regardless of silly vampire wishes, and false marriages." I frowned this was bad news. If he continued to pursue me Rikki would surely have my head. She was not the type to share. "Are you positive this is a good idea? I mean if Rikki were to find out..." I gave him a sideways glance as he sat on my couch. His sinful smile did something weird to my abdomen. I felt it flip flop and tighten. I looked away quickly not wanting to look at those perfect lips. "Well? I'm waiting." I tapped my foot at him staring safely at the wood floor. "Rikki will not find out and I am completely positive about you coming with me. I told you I am gathering my bloodline. There are so few of us left." He lazily petted Smoke from head to tail as he spoke. "We all need to compile our power if we want to survive what is coming for us. There are only seven of you left. I really cannot let us become extinct." He stood up in one fluid movement stalking over to me. I stood my ground and made my eyes meet his. "My things are in the bedroom." I licked my suddenly dry lips. He was almost on top of me. I hated being so close to him, hated the way my body reacted to my master. He brushed passed me into the bedroom, my backpack rustled as he threw it over his shoulder. I turned to watch, he reached for my black leather purse. "I don't really think that's your color." He gave me a slightly annoyed look. "You're going to have your hands full with your feline companion." He gazed down at my black fuzz ball, who was circling Ahgony's feet. "It's amazing he warmed up to me, or you for that matter. You smell strongly of wolf." He walked away shaking his head and snatched my belongings. He made his way to the front door. "Grab your kitty." I scooped smoke up into my arms. "I guess we are flying?" He looked stunned by my question, raising an eyebrow, making me shyly look to the floor. "You can fly?" He finally asked. When I nodded he seemed to be lost in thought. I cleared my throat bringing him back to the present. "Ah, yes Sonata, it is just very interesting to know you are able to, and when did you learn you could do this?" His eyes narrowed on me causing me to cringe. I frowned, calming smoke in my arms. "Just after the last time I saw you. I woke up at sundown floating. It was over a hundred years ago." I turned my back to his curious, piercing, eyes and stepped outside. "You ready?" I mumbled the question as I locked my eyes onto Smoke's. "You'll have to lead the way Ahgony, and we must be quick. I cannot hold his gaze for very long. His instincts are powerful and sometimes my vampire tricks don't work." Ahgony stepped next to me, he laced his left arm through my right. He smirked. "I will try not to fly too fast so you can keep up, and control the cat." When I nodded to him, he jumped up into the air dragging me and my terrified feline with him.

Chapter 3

After what seemed like days of flying, we finally arrived at a secluded mansion. We touched down on the doorstep of a large castle-like house, that was surrounded by acres and acres of land, trees and bodies of water. I looked from the mansion to smoke. "I think you will like it here..." He meowed a response. I looked at Ahgony who was watching me once again intently with those ice blues. His look gave me a sense that he was tormented, maybe confused in some way. "Ahgony?" I looked at him questioningly. Ahgony was about to reply when the stone door opened to reveal a very handsome male. He stood near six two, he was well muscled just like Ahgony. He even had the same haunting blue eyes. His strong jawline captured my attention. I almost felt like drooling. I continued to take him in looking at his ears which were probably over pierced for most people, but I found it intriguing. His long black hair was around mid-back and looked like silk. My eyes drifted to his mouth, which was also as sinful as Ahgony's. The similarities between the two were uncanny. Then it dawned on me. Twins. Ahgony's deep voice brought me out of my fantasy and school girl drool fest. "Paiyne meet Sin." Ahgony's voice had a slight growl to it, causing me to yelp. Paiyne nodded toward me, but did not seem happy. His glare held disapproval, his gaze flicking back to Ahgony. Their expressions told me they were talking telepathically. I fidgeted feeling the odd woman out on the conversation. Finally feeling my discomfort, Ahgony pushed back his twin and ushered me through the door. "We will speak of this later Paiyne." Ahgony's voice was a snarl filled with venom. I know it was about me. I was less then happy about that fact too! I know I was seen as the weak link, I was the most unlikely vampire ever! I wasn't picture perfect. The undead community could be so vain! I took a deep breath as Ahgony pulled me into the living room. I stared at five beautiful men sitting on various pieces of furniture. I glanced at the male next to me. Ahgony was on edge. 'Am I the only female survivor of our bloodline?' He nodded at me. My god with all this testosterone I was going to go insane. I was to be stuck in this house with seven, exotically attractive men. Paiyne with his beautiful dark hair and amazing lips stepped passed us, into the room. He nodded to the blonde man on the left. "That is Fhear, To his right is Ahngar. The one dead center, Nighhtmare. Mr. goatee is Dehmon, and lastly Pryide is standing behind the couch." Ahgony put a hand up as to silence his brother. I watched as all eyes were now focused on him. "We are all that is left of my bloodline. I have gathered you all here to prepare you for a battle that will soon be taking place. There is a traitor in our midst." He paused as eyes glowed and snarls sounded. Ahgony put his hand up once more. "No worry, it is no one here. They have sided with the enemy and are already a mixed bloodline. However it is not the power of this traitor I am worried about, it is the information they hold about our bloodline." Ahgony continued to brief about our roles in his plans and how we were to feed. I Finally put smoke down and shooed him off, listening to the soothing voice of my master. "Now the lot of you have brought a blood slave correct? Cause there is no leaving this house until I say so." When I froze at his statement he turned to me. "There is solid food for you and I made sure it was things you would eat. No worries." I released the air I'd been holding in with a sigh. 'Should I want blood?' I looked at him questioningly. 'I will provide.' His reply made me shiver. 'Then I would be a master.' 'Yes and you will be right on par with my own power.' "Let me show you to your room, Sonata." He grabbed my much smaller hand in his and lead me up the stairs. When we reached the top stair he stopped. "All rooms are on this floor. You are going to be between me and Paiyne." He pointed to three rooms on the left side of the hall. "Everyone else is on the right." He frowned for a moment. "I have to go to Rikki, she is summoning me. If I do not meet her summons she will come looking. I will return as soon as I can." He gave me a regretful glance and vanished.

Chapter 4

I took in a deep breath, as I walked back down the stairs, where six sex magnets awaited. Lucky for me I noticed only two still in the living area. From the sound of things the other four were in the billiard room. I could hear pool balls scattering as someone made a nice break. I also heard darts hitting the wall as well as an action movie on the television. I eyed the two men left, Paiyne and Fhear. Paiyne had jet black hair, the same beautiful cheek bones as Ahgony, a strong handsome jaw, gorgeous muscled chest, perfectly smooth in design. His ripped muscled arms rested on the recliner as he started me down with the same inspection I was giving him. I was thankful I'd kept my glamor on. Next I looked to Fhear. Fhear was sitting on the couch, his long blonde hair looked as smooth as silk. He had bright green eyes that held a certain playful glow, causing me to shiver. He had a small cleft in his chin, which to me was normally not attractive, but on him it only added to his male beauty. He wasn't as well defined as Paiyne or Ahgony, but Fhear was still built like a god. I let out a frustrated sigh as I sat down on the far end of the couch. A quick glance at the flat screen TV. told me they were watching Pirates of the Caribbean. I chuckled a little bit. Then frowned when both men started at me intently. "What?" I asked snidely. Both men looked to one another. "We were both prates long ago lass." Fhear grinned playfully as he added his best pirate accent. Paiyne rolled his eyes. "Please." He said laying on the sarcasm. "Vikings and pirates are hardly the same thing." Now that I thought about it Paiyne did have a Nordic accent, but it was only noticeable on certain words. "Oh." I replied sheepishly. A slight blush had crept up my cheeks. Fhear grinned. "Raping and pillaging same thing just different eras, old man." Paiyne grinned as well. "Well either way we are both dinosaurs compared to Sin. She's just a baby." I stuck my tongue out at them both. "Careful, little girl some of us might want to put that to use." Nighhtmare's giant frame was leaned against the doorway to the billiard room. His deep voice sending shivers down my spine. Both Fhear and Paiyne were silent and looked tense as if there might be a fight. Nighhtmare sneered at them and walked over to me. He leaned in close as if smelling me. I heard him in hale deeply, then Fhear was suddenly there in a flash grabbing the other mans throat. "Ahgony said she is not to be touched by any of us! Especially not you, you sick bastard." Fhear squeezed on his throat harder. "I thought he made that perfectly clear before he brought her here." Nighhtmare growled at him. I looked to Paiyne who was watching my reaction to the commotion. I scooted closer to him and he relaxed. I Turned back to Fhear who was trembling as if trying to control his anger. "I suggest you go to your room Nighhtmare." Dehmon's voice was musical as it filled the living room, his smaller frame coming through the doorway. "You heard the boss, Nighhtmare, Sonata is off limits." Priyde had followed Dehmon in. Priyde's voice was like a piece of chocolate melting in my mouth. So smooth, his Australian accent like music flowing from his lips. He ran a hand over his military shaved head. "Paiyne a little help mate?" Paiyne raised an eyebrow. "Fhear let him go." Nighhtmare smirked as Fhears hands un-clasped from around his throat. "Until later then, maybe I'll have myself a midnight snack." As he said it he grinned widely at me, his fangs extending. He turned his back and stormed loudly up the stairs. Everyone but me relaxed visibly. "What's his deal?" My voice came out less then confident. Fhear glided back to me with fluid grace and laid a hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry about him sweetheart, no one knows his story." Fhear's hand sent a wave of warmth down my shoulder, he jerked his hand back quickly. I blushed deeply. He flashed a quick glance to the other men. "I don't believe it." He muttered the words, all eyes were on him. "She's like Ahgony." "Shit, Paiyne. Ahgony locked us all in here with her, expecting us to keep our cool, and our hands to ourselves? How the hell can we do that?" Dehmon asked frustrated backing up. My heart sped up, I had no idea what they were talking about. I looked at each of their faces. Paiyne seemed to be the only one without fear in his eyes. I glared at him, he rolled his eyes at me. I stood up and looked him straight in the face. "You're going to tell me what is going on here... right... now..." I stamped the words out to get my point across. "Well." He thought for a moment. "What type of animal do you shift into? Or should I say what types if you can do more then one as Ahgony can." I licked my suddenly dry lips, as all but Priyde shuddered when I replied. "Wolf." "Then my dear you are safe only with Priyde for you are a bitch in heat and are amongst wolves." Paiyne grinned his fangs showing. Priyde moved forward and I flashed into his arms. He grabbed me and pushed me behind him against the wall. I looked around his muscled side. "But Ahgony told me I was the only one to receive all his abilities." Paiyne's eyes narrowed. "You were the only human to yes. The rest of us could already shift. We were born wolves to begin with." I sighed looking up to gaze at Priyde. "And you are what?" If they are wolves and react to me what are you, that you don't?" "Lion." He growled low in his throat. "But I still feel your pull in human form. Not nearly as bad as them, but it's there." "You're also a virgin aren't you Sonata?" Paiyne's smirk was unsettling. I Ducked back behind Priyde before Paiyne spoke once more. "You don't have to answer, we can all smell it." He laughed, the sound evil and haunting. Movement from the doorway caught my eye. As soon as I saw the platinum hair I darted to Ahgony, hiding my face in his chest. I heard him growl low in his throat. 'Did they hurt you?' He wrapped his arms around me. "I told you guys not to touch her!" His words came out in a snarl. Fhear stepped closer to us. I heard his footsteps. I turned to look at him curiously. "Ahgony. I touched her in attempt to calm her after Nighhtmare took a whiff." Fhear's green eyes held sincerity.. "Then your jackass brother started to scare her so Priyde was protecting her." I heard Paiyne laugh and I was quickly shoved back to Priyde. Ahgony was now pulling Paiyne out of the chair. "You were told to protect her!" Ahgony's eyes were glowing a haunting bright blue. "Enough! I'm fine! Just a little shook up." I glared at Ahgony. "And a heads up at what you were leaving me here with would have been nice!" I didn't wait for an apology, a reprimand. I just stormed up the stairs, headed toward my room. I paused for a moment seeing Nighhtmare standing outside his room. He still had a smirk on his lips. "Fuck off." I growled continuing to storm to my room. I slammed the door behind me as I entered. I flopped down on the bed and called for Smoke. He dove out of the closet and barreled straight into my arms. I lazily stroked him talking to him quietly. He immediately started purring holding him to me, I took a deep breath. I had to calm down, because in a few minutes Ahgony was going to come up here and want to talk. I tried to listen for noises downstairs, but could hear nothing. That could only mean one thing. There was a silence barrier on the house. That was both good and bad for me. Good because if I was talking to Ahgony no one would hear. Bad in the sense I can't hear anything coming for me. Smoke suddenly scrambled away from me and darted back into the closet. Ahgony strode into the room Ahngar behind him. Both men were focused on me. I could feel Ahgony's anger flowing off him in waves. He came to sit on the bed next to me. Ahngar stayed near the door. I glared at him. "And just what are you?" Ahngar looked at Ahgony as if asking for permission. When Ahgony nodded Ahngar answered my question. "I'm an incubus demon." My mouth dropped. "You feed on sex and blood right?" Something about this whole situation bothered me. "Ahgony...?" My voice held more growl then I wanted it to. "Sonata, my bloodline is something no one has ever seen before. It's able to interact and work with other species. Hence being Lycan and vampire. Normally the two are almost instant death to one another. However my vampire blood and lycanthrope blood merged and became something else. I became the first living vampire." He was trembling. "How is that possible? I mean don't all vampires have a heartbeat?" I was confused as ever, especially since I never really spent any time around my own kind. I even finished high school and got a diploma each time I made a new identity. I was turned at eighteen right before I'd graduated. Ahgony sighed. "Not my bloodline, yes we have heartbeats. Do other vampires? No. Yes we can go out in the sunlight. Can other vampires? No." Ahngar huffed. "Everyone, but me. I'm bound by demon rules. No sunlight for this vampire hybrid." "Yes everyone, but you. You know why you are here though, Ahngar." Ahgony's voice was calm even though small ripples of frustration and anger continued to radiate off of him. "Sonata, I would have taught you so much about yourself, if only you'd stuck around long enough. Each of the people here have given me small pieces of themselves, when I converted them. When I told you, you received all my powers I meant it. A piece of every single one of these men is in you. Which is why they are so drawn to you." I was still confused as ever. What was Ahngar's purpose in my room? What did Ahgony mean taking bits of power and how much power do I truly hold? I furrowed my eyebrows at Ahgony. He chuckled. "Glamor is not a normal vampire ability, at least not to your extent. I gained that ability from Ahngar here. You are able to become a wolf, that power you got from me. How many cats like you? Lots I Imagine, even though your a wolf. You gained that, because of Pryide. Do you understand now?" I placed my hand over my stomach, yeah I understood and felt sick. "Even in a vampire world I'm still a freak." I made a sour face. "Not true." Ahngar's voice purred of seduction. "This whole bloodline is considered freaks." Ahgony growled at him, then looked back to me. "That is why I believe we are being killed we are too powerful. Whoever doing it doesn't realize that only the remainder of us was special, so they killed the others for no reason." He sighed heavily. "We must bring you into your full powers." I gasped. "I can't fight?! I've spent my whole life running, hiding. I... I just can't." My eyes flickered to Ahngar, who had moved closer. "You can and you will. We need you, we are going to teach you everything you need to know." Ahgony's eyes held sorrow. "I am sorry for what I'm about to do." He grabbed my arms and pulled me against him. I started to struggle, but felt Ahngar's larger hands on me. The instant he touched me I was consumed with desire. They had tricked me! "Do not fight us my beautiful amazon. We will not hurt you. I am only bringing you into your powers. I cannot do that if you are still pure. I need you to do this for me, for us." Ahgony continued to whisper in my ear as Ahngar started to rip open the back of my halter top. "No... not like this." My voice came out breathy sounding nothing like it should. "Please, Ahgony." I begged him, but my body was not my own. "I am truly sorry Sonata, but I cannot risk one of the others to do this for me. I had wanted to wait for you to come to me." Ahgony's gaze flicked to Ahngar's "I'd also wanted our first time to be alone." He had started nibbling lightly on my neck causing small noises of protest from my throat. Ahngar started to reach for my bared breasts, when Ahgony growled, he instead took control of my arms. Ahgony's palms slid gently over my nipples causing me to gasp. His lips slid over mine before pressing into me with a passionate kiss. Ahngar's hands reached around me to find the button of my jeans. He shuttered as he un zipped my 'pants and found me bare beneath his hand. "Stand her up for a minute." Ahngar's voice never changed. My guess is that he was only here for his powers and to feed. I mentally grimaced at the thought as I was jerked onto my feet, my pants dropping to my ankles. Ahgony's lips were still on mine as I was forced backwards onto the bed. His hands pinned my wrists. He turned back to Ahngar. "She'll need some foreplay, as much as I'd like to I'm unable to while holding her down." Ahgony moved to sit on my chest. He must have wished his clothes away because his cock was large and hard against my breasts. I began to struggle once more self-preservation kicking in. Ahngar's hands held my thighs down and forced my legs open to accommodate his body. He dropped to his knees in-front of me. I couldn't see much else from around Ahgony's body. I felt a huge wave of fear sweep over me. Then I felt something very wet touching my hip. I sucked in a deep breath and let my eyes meet Ahgony's. His gaze was a deeper dreamier blue. "Just let go... it will feel incredible I promise." Ahgony's voice grabbed a hold of me. The power of his gaze and voice enthralling me. He was my creator, I felt my body relax. As soon as I did, Ahngar's tongue went up the length of my cleft. I gasped wanting to close my eyes and reveal in the feeling. However Ahgony's lustful gaze continued to capture mine. Ahngar removed his hands from my thighs and then I felt him spread my lips, his hot breath warming my core, just before he dove in. His tongue assaulted me in every way possible. Darting in and out then lapping up to my sensitive clit. Heat flooded down and seemed to gather building and building until I thought I would explode. I continued to stare into Ahgony's eyes, my breath coming out in quick, short gasps. Then something else began to probe at my entrance. It slid in deeper then his tongue, but not deep enough to release the building pressure. I saw Ahngar stand up out of the corner of my eye. Ahgony was making his way down my body until his hips rested between my thighs. Ahngar went to the side of the bed, climbing up next to me. His hands went toward my breasts, he began pinching and teasing my nipples. I felt Ahgony push his cock toward my sex. As he pushed slowly in I moaned, my body stretching to make room for his invasion. I tore my gaze from his lustful stare to look at Ahngar. His green eyes met mine with lust, his body seemed to glow. I tensed as Ahgony suddenly stopped his invasion. "Bite him." Ahgony's voice seemed strained. At first I didn't understand what he wanted. Ahngar's hair brushed against my breasts as he positioned his neck before my lips. "Bite him now Sonata." Ahgony's voice was a rumble in my ears. I looked at Ahngar's exposed throat. I could see the pulse waiting for me, calling to me. My fangs elongated, I licked my lips and sank deep. At the same time Ahgony surged forward. The pain was a short shock as Ahgony broke through the barrier of my pureness. He didn't give me much time to recover either. Ahngar moaned as I took my first draw and Ahgony started to set a quick pace. The pressure that had built up finally found what it needed to erupt. Between all the different sensations, I screamed out as waves of pleasure rocked out of me, and it felt like into Ahngar. Ahngar rocked back and was now looking skyward. I screamed again as Ahgony continued to pound me, working mini orgasms and aftershocks from my already sensitive sex. HE drove deep one last time and pulled out quickly, spilling his seed all over my stomach. As soon as he was done a searing pain hit me. I began screaming pushing Ahgony off the bed. My body convulsed. I looked to Ahngar and he looked to Ahgony. "What's happening?" I felt Ahngar pull me into his lap cradling me and mumbling softly to me. "All powers that were blocked from her purity are assaulting her mind. I imagine it's as mentally painful as the conversion to vampire was. Only she's already physically changed. I went through the same thing every time I converted a new species over." I heard Ahgony's voice and completely understood. Ahngar's incubus powers were wearing off and my own emotions began overflowing. My vision began to blur, everything seemed to merge together. I pieced together what had happened between the waves of intense white hot pain. Ahgony had robbed me of my virginity, he and Ahngar both. Anger replaced pain. "You self-centered jerk!" I began losing and regaining my glamor shortly after that outburst. "You used me!" My vision blurred even more and I felt faint. I was using to much energy trying to fight the pain. My vision went black, but before I went under I vowed to never trust or help Ahgony again. He betrayed me and betrayal after all the things I have been through is unforgivable!

Chapter 5

I awoke to voices, heartbeats, and the scent of the males of my species. My eyes stung, I kept them closed tightly as I groaned, trying to control my senses. "Shut up." It was more of a groan or a growl then a shout. I couldn't take any loud noise right now. "And please turn off the light." My head was pounding. When I heard the light switch flick, I was finally able to peek open an eye. Pryide, Fhear, Paiyne and Dehmon were in the room with me. I looked at Paiyne and immediately the memory of last night hit me. The two looked so much alike, I couldn't stand it. "You!" I pointed to him. "Out Now!" He growled, but left shutting the door behind him. "You three, where is Ahgony and Ahngar?" My voice came out a snake-like hiss. Fhear came over and placed his hand over mine. I felt his pulse through his wrist strongly, calling to me. I quickly jerked my hand away. "Without touching me please!" He looked to Pryide and Dhemon. "Ahgony had to go to Rikki. Ahngar is sleeping. It's daylight. His demon side can't be in it." He licked his lips. "We also know about last night... The three of us were not happy about it." "Well that's comforting." I snarled looking back at Pryide and Dhemon. I wanted to make sure everyone got my sarcasm. "So why are all of you here and whose room is this?" "It's Ahgony's. He had put a ward on it to prevent us from coming in." Dhemon was the one that answered me. "We thought someone should be here for you when you woke up... in case you were..." Fhear trailed off. "Hungry." Pryide finished. "For what!?" I snapped Fhear grabbed my hand again. "Anything...?" His eyes held sincerity. I went to snap at him again, but stopped and thought about what he was saying. I had to double check to make sure that he was telling the truth. I also thought about what I felt when I first woke up, I'd smelled men, heard voices, heartbeats, and wanted it all. "No... No..." I didn't want to think about that. Did I still eat like a human? Or was I completely a vampire now? I had no idea, I pushed those thoughts from my head. "Sin..." Fhear's voice held concern, which again brought me to his eyes to be sure. That's when I noticed my reflection. I didn't have my glamor on. Yet each of them seemed like they wanted to be there with me. All I could think about was wanting to look at myself, because why would these gorgeous gods ever want to help a pitiful, fat woman like me. "Mirror." I gave the request continuing to look at myself in Fhears eyes. I looked all wrong, that couldn't possibly be me. I was also still naked, and really didn't want to jump out of bed that way with all these men here. I however would anyway, I had to see myself. Dhemon walked into the bathroom and had grabbed a full body mirror. He walked out with it and placed it next to the wall. I gasped as I saw my face reflected in the mirror first. I jumped from the bed and lightly put my hand on my face. The mirror reflected my movement causing me to look in disbelief. My body had become fit, muscular, not thin, but I was flat. I ran my hand down my stomach resulting in a groan from the men behind me. Ignoring them I continued to explore myself. My hair had gotten longer, I ran my hands through it finding that my hair was softer as well. Next I framed my face which was still heart shaped, but my features were more defined. My hips were still wide, but they were smooth and even. I turned, my ass had shrank, and was now firm. I could probably wear a size ten now. "But how?" I gasped. Fhear draped a blanket over my shoulders. "We are living vampires Sonata. Our bodies can still change. How long as it been since you seen yourself in a mirror?" His question boggled me. I had to think about it for some time. "The night I was changed." He chuckled at me. "Then you had 200 years to get your rock'n hot bod." He got serious after the other men didn't chuckle with him. "Now is there anything you need? Anything at all?" Dhemon and Pryide were already heading for the door. I looked at Fhear, happy that I actually had to look up to him. Being a tall woman back when I was turned was rough. "I want to go for a run." I said the words happily. "There's a treadmill in the basement." Pryide offered. I frowned. "No I want to really run." They all froze. "Yeah, I know we were told not to leave the house, but really. I want to run in the woods." "Well we are in a very secluded area in Ohio. I suppose it couldn't hurt since it's daylight." Dhemon smiled. "I'm also looking for a good rabbit. My wolf's been aching for one since we got here." Pryide frowned. "Promise you guys won't chase me up a tree?" "Promise." Dhemon and Fhear were in unison crossing their fingers over their hearts. We all chuckled and headed down stairs. We caught the gazes of Nighhtmare and Paiyne who were watching Excalibur. "Where you four headed?" Paiyne frowned watching us as we heading toward the door. "I'm going for a run. These three are my guards." I hiked a thumb behind me at my entourage. Paiyne went to say something else, but I'd already walked out the door. Fhear, Pryide and Dhemon right on my heels. I dropped the blanket and imagined my wolf. There was a sudden sharp pain, then what sounded like a loud explosion. My explosion was followed by three more. Once the pain receded I looked down at my paws. 'Holy hell fastest transformation ever!' 'Not bad pup.' Fhear's voice rebounded in my head. I gave him a questioning look. 'When in wolf we can communicate this way. Makes things easier.' He panted at me and whined. 'Not just wolves.' Pryides voice came next in a purr. We all barked a laugh at him, he rolled his eyes back. Pryide was a white lion a rare sight, I'd never seen one before in my life. Next I looked to Fhear, he was a gorgeous cream colored wolf with light brown markings. Last but not least was Dhemon, his red hair carried over to his wolf form. Fhear's playful bark brought me out of my awed inspection. I barked back with a playful growl and developed a slow lope toward the woods. My groupies followed me swiftly. As I reached the trees I put my nose to the ground trying to pick up a scent. I couldn't find anything. I looked to Fhear and Dhemon, they were both digging at a rabbit hole. Pryide growled as I neared him. His huge whit mane was bristled out. 'I smell something, and it doesn't smell good.' I looked at him sideways, questioningly. 'Doesn't smell good how?" Fhear barked a laugh. 'Let's check it out!' Dhemon growled. 'I don't think we should.' Pryide tasted the air one more time, taking another whiff. 'We have to, what if it's something that might lead us to our traitor?' He buried his large white paws into the dirt and grass springing forward, shooting through the underbrush. I took off after him, howling a response. I chased his white furred tail, slowing as he did from a dead run to a prowl. I got a quick glance at Fhear and Dhemon, they were hunkered down as well crawling on their bellies. The closer we got, the more I could smell the gross, fetid stench of a rotting carcass. It smelled horrible to me, but my companions acted like they were stalking prey. We brawled toward the rank, the smell continuing to grow and burn my nose. Pryide's roar filled the complete silence as he sprang forth and pounced. I sprang right after him, only to plow into him rolling both of us through a dead body. I gagged and coughed in my wolf form, heaving heavily. I literally shook my body like a dog after jumping up. I could not forget the feel of my furred body, rolling over the rotting flesh. Fhear was sniffing around the body. There wasn't allot of flesh left after Pryide and I rolled through it. The both of us were painted in red. Our white fur was like a magnet. 'What is it Fhear?' I asked shuddering. 'What, is not the question. Who is better.' He growled sniffing closer. Dhemon whined his eyes looking skyward. 'Dark is coming.' It was almost dusk. Fhear yelped and jumped back from his assault of sniffing. 'It's mouth moved!' He snarled backing away slowly. 'Are you serious?' I licked my muzzle then coughed remembering what I'd rolled through. I looked at the body. IT was a woman, I could see the pink fingernail polish behind the dirt. I got closer growling. What shocked me most was the shape of her teeth. There wasn't any flesh left only gums and very sharp bone. 'I don't like it. Don't like it at all.' Dhemon was barking like he'd gone rabid. Then the bony hand reached for me, almost grabbing my foreleg. I jumped back yelping. The corpse's sharp teeth gnashed together. It began crawling towards me. I continued to yelp backing up. 'Don't let it touch you!' Fhear snapped near my right foreleg. 'What is it?' I asked continuing to back up. It's red eyes were intent on putting it's jagged teeth into me. 'Zombie? Ghoul? I don't fucking know.' Pryide snarled circling behind it. He lunged for it's legs. His large maw wrapping around it's right foot. He dug his hind quarters in and ripped. 'All, but Sin grab a limb!' I continued to back away. The monster following me. I growled backing away faster. I heard bones snap and the tendons ripping. As Fhear and Dhemon ripped at it's arms. They snapped off and the creature stopped it's crawling. It's teeth continued to gnash together. We all relaxed, but tensed once more as a baleful howl made us all bristle up and jump back. Fhear laughed sheepishly. 'No worries, just Paiyne finishing his shift.' 'Yes, Me and Nighhtmare are coming to you now.' Paiyne's voice followed through my mind as if it'd come from Ahgony. I growled not wanting to think about the events that had occurred last night. It took Paiyne around fifteen minutes to arrive. We were farther in the woods then I had originally though. Tailing behind Paiyne was Nighhtmare. Black fur darted passed me, then Paiyne was at the corpse snarling. 'This is a ghoul and judging the intent look it's got on you Sonata I'd say it was placed here for you. This is the border of the safe house. Only our bloodline may cross.' Paiyne growled. He then lunged at me biting into my right foreleg. I yelped then snarled when he released my paw. I crouched down ready to attack. However stopped when Paiyne let my blood drop down onto the creature. It stopped flailing and seemed to be at peace. 'What the hell was that!' I growled. 'Why was my blood what calmed it?' 'In case whoever left this here comes back we need to move back to the house. I'll explain it there.' Paiyne took off as fast as he'd arrived. The rest of us waited. I looked to Nighhtmare who was grinning at me creepily. I shuddered and took off. Fhear was right behind me, Dhemon behind him, then Nighhtmare. Pryide guarded our rear.

Chapter 6

Once back at the fort, we all took a few minutes to shift forms and get into clothes. Strangely enough I made it back downstairs first. Kind of funny really, me being the female. I made myself comfortable on the end of the couch closest to the stairs. Footsteps made me look over my shoulder. I tensed. "I was hoping that you and I would be here alone for a few minutes." Nighhtmare stepped down the stairs and flashed before me. He forced my ill fitting skirt up my thighs and grabbed my wrists. He held them above my head. He then took a sniff of my hair. "So, I see you've been popped." His voice held taunting laughter. "He told us not to touch you, only so he could do the deed himself." He looked directly into my eyes. "Did he rape you Sonata?" His eyes danced with excitement and curiosity. That was about all I could handle. I hissed at him and used every bit of force I had to bring my knees up. I ended up sending him flying over the back of the couch. He landed on his back. I quickly sent myself over the back of the couch as well, stopping with my right foot on his groin. "Touch me again, without permission, and you won't have this anymore." I made sure he got my point, by putting more pressure on his man parts. Nighhtmare looked up at me with a sort of respect and to my dislike, arousal. I thought he would look away ashamed, but instead his eyes then showed a heated anger. He cursed. I Stared at him a moment longer letting my anger mingle with his. "Damn woman, what he do?!" Fhear's voice came from the stairs as he made his way down. "Nothing I couldn't handle." I removed my foot from Nightmare's groin feeling a sense of pride. Maybe Ahgony's words held truth. Maybe I was stronger, maybe I was changed. A few seconds later the rest of our crew came down the stairs. "So, about the ghoul?" I couldn't wait for everyone to get comfortable. I had to know. I looked directly to Paiyne. "Well Sin, ghouls are a complicated process. First a vampire has to drain a human. Humans who have committed a sin work best. Then the vampire must give the human a very small amount of their blood. Then said Vamp stakes human. As the human dies the staker tells the new born ghoul how it will gain salvation." I took all that in. To me it sounded like a whole lot of trouble and time to go through with. "That still don't explain why my blood calmed it." Paiyne sighed. "Well, prettiness. That ghoul was sent after you. When your blood touched it, it found it's "Salvation." Ghouls do not think they simply go after the target, once said target has bled or is dead, the ghoul is no longer needed. It dies... again." "But it didn't kill her." Coming from Dhemon. "No, but the ghoul laid in the sun all day, it couldn't pass the barrier." Paiyne's eyes suddenly flashed to Nighhtmare on the floor. "Touch her again and I will kill you myself." Nighhtmare got up, brushing himself off as if the floor was filthy. He bared his fangs at Paiyne. "You keep your mouth shut. I will do as I want." "Not with me you won't." I hissed at him. He grinned and bowed. "Until another night then. I'm heading to the basement." He licked his fangs which had elongated. Pryide cleared his throat. "I think we should all go to the basement." When all the men nodded I frowned. "What's in the basement?" "Nothing of your concern." Ahngar's voice boomed down the stairs. "The rest of you get down there. You got twenty minutes before Ahgony is back." They all left quickly except him. I glared at Ahngar where I stood. Remembering how he'd used his incubus powers to persuade me into being raped. However some part of me reacted differently. When he smiled, a sudden urge made my womb jump and my pulse quicken. "Sonata, are you hungry? If I remember right you only eat solid food..." As he spoke I could see his pulse in his throat and felt a burning in my veins. I licked suddenly dry lips and frowned. "Apparently... not anymore." I felt the tip of my fangs with my tongue. "If it would please you, as a sort of apology I would let you bite me." He came slowly toward me. Why was he being so cautious I wondered. As he neared me, I looked into his eyes. He swallowed hard, before speaking again. "You feel it don't you?" I could see myself in his eyes, my brown eyes glowed a sort of honey color. They had a really hungry look to them. "Feel what?" I breathed the words, my eyes fluttering as I moved forward to meet him. "You obviously do, otherwise you wouldn't be coming to me so easily. I felt it, the moment you walked through the door. However since last night, it is so much more powerful. The minute I came down stairs and you saw me, the power, my power residing in you kicked up. It's calling to me. Singing to me." He laid his head on my shoulder exposing his neck. He breathed me in. "You call to all of us you know. Since you have a piece of every one of us in you. I could barely take in what he was saying. My fangs had started throbbing, and ache I'd never felt before. My fangs weren't the only thing that was throbbing either. I wrapped my arms around him holding him to me. As I kissed his neck, his pulse leapt at me asking me to bite him. I groaned licking him before sinking deep. He tasted hot, spicy and exotic, as I figured a demon would. Before I could stop myself I was fumbling with the button of his jeans. The power of his other species radiating off the both of us. The wolf in me protested at the musky scent, but the new demon part was more than willing. I hiked my skirt up, then yanked his jeans down. I continued to draw from him, the warm liquid satisfying my hunger in one way. I released my fangs from his throat to admire his male beauty. When I looked down at his cock an interesting aspect caught my eye. His groin area was completely smooth, pealesent in a way. Blues, purples, and shiny black skin covered him from hip to mid thigh. It reminded me of scales. My right hand found his cock, it wasn't as smooth, the scales there were plated, rigid. I felt myself push him to the wall and I began climbing up him. I positioned myself above that shiny sword of his and began to slowly impale myself. His strange shaped tip entered me and he groaned. "Sin." His breath was ragged. "You can't, Ahgony will kill me." I only growled at him and began to lick at the blood trailing down his chest. As I slid down I felt the strange plates grab at my soft sex. The feeling was so much different compared to what Ahgony felt like. I breathed out slowly, feeling that same building of pressure quickly. "Sin... we need to stop." He gasped as I slid all the way down on him. "Really Sonata." He growled low in his throat. "You don't understand, if we keep going... those interesting scales you're feeling grab hold and I'll be forced to..." That stopped me. If we were living vampires that means pregnancy was a possibility. Unfortunately for my demon blood, which since feeding was even stronger, I didn't want to have him spilling inside me. I pulled myself up from him hissing in frustration. It was good timing too. Ahgony had just walked in the front door, a mask of anger marring his beautiful features. I looked at Ahngar with fear. He quickly pulled up his pants, buttoning them at the speed of light. I watched Ahgony step near the stairwell. He took in a deep breath and growled. "I can smell blood and sex. Not only smell, but Ahngar I did catch you pulling up your pants." He growled the words. "Her scent is all over you." Ahgony started walking toward Ahngar. "Do not blame him! This is your own god damn fault for what you did to me!" I moved right in front of Ahngar. "How do you think I feel knowing you fuck Rikki, then come here to me, expecting me to rush to you." Ahgony's face softened. "It's not like that Sonata." He moved to me, reaching his hand out. I smacked it away. "Don't you ever touch me again!" I bared my still elongated fangs. "And don't you dare harm Ahngar either." Fhear came out of the billiard room. He took one whiff of the room and froze. "She smells..." "Like a demon." Paiyne supplied coming through behind him. He cocked his head to the side. "And do I smell sex?" He grinned. I growled, but it wasn't the growl of my wolf. It was something much more menacing. "Sonata, I am your maker and I demand that you calm down and sit for your master!" Ahgony's command immediately hit me full force. I fought it as much as I could. He held me there I couldn't move. "Look into my eyes Sonata." I couldn't stop. I had to look. "Now sit." He motioned to the couch. I did exactly as I was told, like a good pup. "The rest of you, take a seat!" Fhear sat next to me in the center of the couch. Ahngar sat on the arm, on the other side of me. Paiyne sat in his usual chair. Priyde made himself comfy on the other side of Fhear. Nighhtmare laid on the floor stretched out lazily. Dhemon stood behind me. "Now, I have a little news for all of you." Ahgony's voice held authority. He wanted everyone's attention and from the look of things we were very attentive. "As you all can tell Sonata is in her full powers. It's going to be rough on her while she adjusts. I don't know how much of all of us she has in her. As you can smell she has quite a bit of Ahngar's traits running through her veins." He inhaled deeply, his eyes glazing with lust. "It's still in the room." Fhear took in another deep breath. His eyes then flashed to mine. "We need to take you shopping... I can smell your arousal very strongly and we all know you have been running around commando." His eyes danced mischievously. Ahngar's eyes flashed to me. I felt him tense on the arm of the couch. I felt the pull of him again. "That would not be a very good idea." Ahgony growled making me and Ahngar look at him. My gaze flicked to Nighhtmare who was staring up my skirt happily. "Perv!" He only grinned wider. I crossed my legs to hide myself from him. Ahgony glared down at Nighhtmare. "Never. Ever. Look at her that way again." I snarled at Ahgony. "Don't you ever speak for me again, you've violated me enough. Do NOT take up for me and try to "make it better." I was furious, very much so. "I told you, it's not like that Sin." Ahgony growled. "Oh, that's it!" I hissed. I then jerked Ahngar up with me dragging him to my room. I heard Ahgony yell something, then Fhear was behind us. Entering my room with me and Ahngar. I shoved Ahngar back onto my bed. "What do you want Fhear." He swallowed hard. "Ahgony said anyone, but Ahngar." He licked his lips. "So, I uh volunteered before Nighhtmare could." "Shut the door." I growled the command. "Ahngar can feed off us. You however are not what I currently want." My eyes were completely focused on Ahngar. "You'll have to work her up Fhear." Ahngar's voice was very husky. "At this moment she really only wants a demon." He un zipped his pants once more letting that beautiful pealesent spear free. My eyes followed the moist tip. "Quickly Fhear." I started moving up Ahngar's body, my back on Fhear. I licked my lips wanting to taste him. However the smell of blood made me turn back to look at Fhear. He'd taken a fingernail across his chest. Which was now bare to my eyes. His chest was not as muscled as Ahgony's, but it was completely smooth. He had a wash-board stomach with a very interesting blonde happy trail leading to his groin. "Do you want to taste me Sonata?" Fhear grinned at me, but I heard a sort of nervousness in his voice. "Yes." I looked back to his bleeding chest. His blood smelled like a forest covered in dew after a morning rain. I went to him, I licked at the wound he'd made for me. I felt him pick me up and carry me to the bed. Ahngar scooted over giving us more room. Fhear hiked my skirt up grabbing my ass and kneading the flesh. I groaned as I looked over at Ahngar who was lightly touching his cock. The sight caused more moisture to quickly glisten my sex. "You're beautiful Sonata." He blew hot breath against me. It sent shivers all over my body. I still really wanted Ahngar, he was calming me by touching himself. Fhear brought me back to his attentions as his tongue found my clit. I gasped throwing my head back. I didn't understand it. I thought all I wanted to do was spite Ahgony, but now I wasn't so sure. It was almost as if, sex was a new need. Ahngar grabbed my hand and placed it on his manhood. I moaned even more. My gaze flicked back to Fhear, he'd stood up to unzip his pants. To my surprise his groin was bare. When he dropped his pants, I was even more surprised to find his member was larger then Ahngar's "Oh my..." I breathed the words. "Too big." Fhear grinned. "It can never be too big." I noticed that the more aroused he was the thicker his accent. It made me feel as though he would melt me. He then gently slid two finger into me. I threw my head back as pleasure seemed to erupt from me. Ahngar was sliding my hand up and down his shaft, he was swelling under my fingers. I felt the scales stand out more. Fhear must have thought I was ready because he moved back placing his hips between mine. He used his hand to slide up and down my slit, then put his tip to my entrance. "Take a deep breath and exhale, relax." I did as I was told and as I exhaled he slid into me. I felt his large manhood spread me open. I thought he was going to tear me in two. Once he hit my cervix, I moaned loudly. "Feed now Ahngar, this won't take long." Fhear cursed. "She's too god damn tight." Ahngar swelled even more and I felt his scales jump out, he quickly moved my hand so that it just stroked the tip. I looked at him, his eyes glowed a bright blue, he was luminescent just like the night before. When he released, I felt his orgasm jump into me and gasped. Fhear began easing gently in and out of me, hitting my cervix each time he pushed in. He leaned down on his elbows, getting deeper with each thrust. He also became more urgent with each push and pull. He suddenly flipped me over causing me to cry out. I was now on my hands and knees falling back against him helplessly. I felt the familiar build up hit me almost instantly. I groaned loudly. "Harder." I breathed. Ahngar reached over and fixed his mouth to mine. In this position I felt Fhear going in all the way to the hilt. That was all I needed to push over the edge. I moaned into Ahngar's mouth, shuddering with pleasure. I felt Fhear give a couple more hard thrusts, he then pulled out and spilled all over my lower back. Ahngar pulled away reluctantly. "You're the first woman to touch me, well other then my kind." He sighed great-fully. "That was so very wonderful." He grabbed my hand as Fhear used his shirt to clean off my back. When he was down cleaning us up I rolled onto my side, cuddling Ahngar. Fhear laid down behind me. "It's been awhile for me too." Fhear threw an arm around me spooning me from behind. "You know..." He started, while lazily drawing circles on my side. "We should go down and talk to Ahgony about that ghoul." "Pryide or Dhemon can tell him." Ahngar's thump gently stroked my wrist. "Let's just rest." I listened to the both of them breathing. The sound was so soothing. I drifted off enjoying the warmth of their male bodies against mine. My last thought was that maybe I shouldn't have waited so long to enjoy the company of men, because now I wanted everything that walked.

Chapter 7

I awoke to my bedroom door opening slowly, a slight creaking disturbing my slumber. I felt around the bed, Ahngar had left, but Fhear was still behind me. He'd curled into a ball. I looked up slowly to see Ahgony. His beautiful features were ashen. "I heard about your ghoul. I came to apologize. I'm really sorry you had to see such an ugly creature." His gaze drifted to Fhear. "So, you really did it. I smell the both of them on you. I had hoped that you would allow me to do as Fhear is doing right now." "And what is that?!" I snapped the words out. "Sharing your bed..." He sighed looking saddened. "I know what you must think, Sonata. You stated that plainly. I do not have sex with Rikki, her and I, our relationship is purely business." He placed his hand on my bare thigh, I immediately cringed away from him. "I'm sure that you have sex with others, it doesn't just have to be Rikki." My eyes seared him. This was just another reason I didn't like his pet names for me. Back when I was a simple human, we only gave pet names to someone we loved. "Often... sex is a part of feeding, it gets the blood flowing. It makes the taste sweeter." He licked his lips as if remembering the taste of one of his lovers. I made a disgusted sound. "I wouldn't even need blood if you hadn't taken my purity. It was the only thing keeping me from changing completely. That was the last of my humanity." My eyes glowed their honey color and I felt my anger feeding me, fueling the fire burning inside, deepening my hatred. "I'd appreciate it if you'd stay away from me." The words came out between clenched teeth. "Sonata... please don't do this." He brushed his platinum hair back in frustration. "I don't know what else to say other then, I need you, and in order to survive... You need those powers. As I told you the other night I'm sorry that I had to do it that way. I glared at him and he continued. "Sonata, I'm going away for a long time." He sighed heavily, Fhear stirred beside me. "I'll make this quick." He looked regretful, almost. "Rikki and I are to be married this week. I brought you into your powers, so that you can fend for yourself. I cannot stress this enough Sonata, be careful." He walked out the doorway looking back to me and Fhear one last time before quietly shutting the door. I let out a breath and looked to the man next to me. Fhear was still curled in a ball, he looked adorable, like a puppy that had played too hard and passed out. His breathing was shallow, but his heart was a fierce beat. I saw his pulse in his throat as I gazed at him, suddenly feeling thirsty. My fangs elongated. I started to gently stroke his hair, watching his pulse at the same time. The silky blonde strands felt good against my fingertips. I breathed in his scent. He smelled the same as earlier only better this time. Tastier. I licked his pulse causing a groan from him. He rolled over to look up at me. "Sonata..." He blinked at me sleepily. "You look hungry." His accent was heavier then ever. "Mmm." I nodded slowly, crawling onto his lap. "Can I?" I felt my eyes flare. "Yes..." I felt his cock harden against my body. "You know Sonata..." He put his hand on my face and stared into my eyes. "The moment I saw you, I could see through your glamor I saw what Ahgony saw in you. Your beauty, your strength." He tucked a strand of my brown hair behind my ear. "How about the two of us go shopping this afternoon?" I leaned down on him, my bare chest pressed to his. I pressed my lips to his ear. "You know, you smell real nice." The only thing I wanted right now was to taste and explore his body. I gently bit into his jugular causing him to gasp. His hands went to my bare ass and lifted me up, settling the tip of his cock at my entrance. Fhear's throat muffled my eager noises as I drank his very fulfilling essence. I drew from him faster needing every inch of his soul melded with min. He lowered me down onto him, our bodies joining fully. The large head spread, stretched and filled me completely. I released his throat moaning, then planted my blood stained lips to his. He parted his lips, my tongue darted into his mouth, wrestling with his. I began to slowly ride him. He felt wonderful, he felt right. I sat back up, turning to look at my door, I had heard it open. Pryide stood looking in on us. Before I could even think of a coherent thought I snarled at him fangs bared. "I'll just come back later..." He swallowed and shut the door. I turned back to Fhear and looked down. He was gorgeous especially with the grin. He now had on his lips. I moaned as I felt him swell in me. "Oh that's amazing." He used his hands to slide me down onto him harder. I felt my groin hit his as our bodies melded. I screamed as my orgasm hit me totally by surprise. I could feel myself gripping onto him, trying to milk his own orgasm out of him. It was strange, but I felt that if he did we would be bound for eternity. I reluctantly rose up from him not sure if I was ready for that kind of commitment. Instead to ease his groaning, I slid down his body and flipped the tip of his large manhood with my tongue. Fhear's response pleased me. I took him into my mouth, he gasped urging me on. He was beyond big I looked up at him curiously. "It's the wolf." He gasped as I suckled on him, swelling more, to the point I almost gagged. I focused concentrating on breathing, then he cried out, his cock pulsing as he climaxed. I swallowed him down wondering just how much more he could have left in him. He pulsed one last time with a huff. "That was amazing!" He sighed happily. I released him from my mouth and sighed. "So... shopping?" It was weird how comfortable I was with Fhear. The moment I'd met him I knew he was different then the others in our clan. He was nicer more open. He smiled putting a hand on my face. "Yes, for some clothes that fit." He looked into my eyes. "We can't have you walking around like the main attraction." His eyes were regretful. "I thought I could keep myself under control with you. I'm the calm of this pack and here I am in your bed, jumping at the opportunity to jump you." He sounded disappointed that he could not control himself. I smiled at him. "It's okay." I took his hand in mine. "I understand, so... where are we going shopping?" "There's a small town near by. A couple of shops you may be interested in." "Like?" I placed kisses along his knuckles. "Oh, I believe there is a Cato, Fashion Bug, a Wal-mart, and a few specialty stores in the mall. We'll find something that suits you." He licked his lips. I gently bit my lip. "I left all my money back at my cabin. We will have to go get it." "No... it's fine. I'll play. I'll have Ahgony pay me back." Fhear pulled me onto the bed next to him. "Let's get dressed. I believe we should take Pryide, he seemed to want to talk with us." I nodded and got up putting on a pair of very large shorts and a top too small for my in between body. The top only went to about mid stomach. The shorts clear down to my knees. I grabbed a belt from my book bag and put it on the very first notch. I took a look in the mirror above my dresser and groaned. "So not my best outfit." "Let's go get Pryide." Fhear smiled and opened my bedroom door.

Chapter 8

Our drive back was as uneventful as our drive there. Once we arrived back at the safe house, Fhear immediately had me sit on the couch. He flashed himself upstairs and was back down in a matter of seconds. "Pryide is setting up your new room. He's going to put the items that he brought you away. They will each get a chance to set up and put what they bought for you in respected places." He sighed. "Do you have any questions? I mean, this must be shocking and confusing." It was my turn to sigh. "I need a little time to adjust and I don't know if you guys know this, but I haven't had a man in my life, since I was turned. Ahgony would pop in every once in awhile, but he's been promised to Rikki, ever since I'd been turned." Then a thought occurred to me. "Does Ahgony know about this?" "Yes... It was his idea and why he was the one to..." He thought for a moment. "De-purify you. He knew whoever did it would be hated by you." "Oh. god..." I felt anger swelling. "That asshole!" I was about to blow up, but the jingling of a small bell caught my attention. I looked to the stairs to see smoke batting a small ball around. I immediately calmed, who had been so thoughtful to buy my kitty a toy? "He seemed bored..." Pryide smiled down at the fluff-ball. "He's been hiding out in my room since the night you, Fhear, and Ahngar got frisky." I noticed that Pryide's smile was amazingly handsome. However it quickly faded into his usual blank stare. He walked down the stairs and took up residence on the far end of the couch. Fhear sat next to me and waited. One by one the men came down the stairs. Pryide had already came down, then came Dhemon, then Paiyne, and finally Nighhtmare. Each man had a small gift in their hands. Each took a seat. "Oh, this is just too much." I narrowed my eyes on all of them. "Fhear's explained a little to me, but seriously. Why?" I looked down at Nighhtmare on the floor. "Some of you aren't even my type." Paiyne was in his usual recliner. "Your basically last chance for allot of us, unless we can find a female in another bloodline or be forced to turn human." Paiyne raised an eyebrow. "Ahgony figured you would enjoy the opportunity." I licked my lips and sighed. "Ahgony knows nothing." "So it seems..." Paiyne's gorgeous smile made my heart leap. "You can choose none of us or one of us, we will court you as your human kind would have. Even though every instinct in my tells me to throw you over my shoulder and carry you off." He chuckled amused. "Uhg... Okay first off you all know I was a pathetic human... I was badly hurt by a man so don't think that physical attraction is love." I huffed at them watching them all nod. "I expect certain things from all of you. If you even dream of having a chance I suggest you speak only truths to me. Ahgony tricked me and lied to me. I want none of that from any of you. Next, you'll have to be extremely patient with me. I haven't spent much time with others. I don't really have any idea how to be what I am. Before I lived pretty much as I did as a human. I'd liked the taste of blood, but never required it for one... Two I'm used to my freedom. Here I have little. Three I'm really really confused by our situation..." "We'll do our best to help you, and to court you properly." Fhear supplied everyone else agreed. "So whose day is today?" I asked eyeing them. "Alphabetical order." Pryide spoke he had a very deep, but clear voice. "Ahngar gets you tonight and tomorrow night. Tuesday is Dhemon, Wednesday is Fhear. Thursday you'll be with Nighhtmare. Friday is Paiyne's and Saturday is with me." "Well don't I have a busy schedule." I grumbled the words. I'd lived alone for so long now I have six men all trying for my affections. "Sonata..." Fhear's calm voice washed over me. "We'll be training you on our days with you as well... call it hands on. "Oh a date training. Lovely. Oh so romantic." I growled the words. Nighhtmare caught my attention as he sat up. "It can be." He smiled creeping me out. Everything about that man was creepy. To think, up til I chose one of them. I'd have to spend Thursday's with him. "By the way." He tongued his fangs. "You are expected to wear what we bought you according to who you are with that day." I groaned. God only knows what weird get ups they would put me in. I glared at Nighhtmare wondering if the outfits he wanted me to wear consisted of leather belts and whips. "Oh come on." Paiyne chided. "Are you still hung up on my twin or what?" He grinned. I shot him a look that would kill if looks could. "You're an ass." I leaned forward. "And if you think bringing up Ahgony's mistakes will win me over, you're wrong." Nighhtmare and Dhemon both chuckled. Nighhtmare's laugh had a sort of musical hint to it. It surprised me and scared me at the same time. I looked back to Paiyne who was sneering. "No, but your face whenever I bring him up is priceless. It's a mix between heartbreak and tormented anger. It's...hawt." He growled and bit at the air. I felt heat creep up my neck and settle into my cheeks. "That was just as creepy as Nighhtmare, don't do it again." I looked at him with serious eyes. He put up his hands in apology, but smiled. "As you wish Lady Sin." His Nordic accent was thick. I took a deep breath, trying to understand the whole situation. I suddenly realized something. "You're only doing this because I am the last and to my knowledge the only female vampithrope?" Paiyne's eyes stared at me curiously. I looked at the other men. Pryide and Fhear were smiling genuinely. Nighhtmare looked at me with what I thought was a sad expression. Dhemon was a blank slate. This was all weird and wrong. "Well, if we were in the same pack and were simply wolves, I'd still court you over the other females." I could hear honesty in Fhear's statement. Points for him. "And you Pryide?" I looked around Fhear to stare into Pryide's eyes. "Well... just like animals as a lion I would have a pride consisting of several females. However since I am cursed and have been for many years... You are the only accepting lioness, so to speak." He looked away from me ashamed, but hey, at least he was honest. "You, Dhemon?" I tilted my head back to look at him looming over me. His blank face frowned as if he was uncomfortable. "If we were still in a pack situation." He looked to Fhear. "If my alpha claimed affections for you then no. However you are the only female I could be myself with." Paiyne laughed. "That's right. No female werewolf would be caught with us, for fear of being killed. So unless Ahgony can produce another like you. I will not lie. You would not be my first option if others were available." I frowned my new found esteem taking a nose dive. "Why?" I asked curiously. "I don't want sloppy seconds." Paiyne's voice was laced with venom. I was getting the impression he didn't like his brother very much. This was putting allot of stress on me, and I could seriously use a run. "Anyone interested in a quick run through the woods?" I blurted the question out. Paiyne looked at me curious. "I figured that about you. I also think you are more clever then what you put off." He smiled. "It's true then. You bolt at the first sign of trouble." I only glared at him, before getting up and heading to the front door. Fhear followed me moving gracefully to the door. He held it open for me. "Anyone else? We won't be gone long." Fhear waited with an arched brow. When no one answered he sighed. "Suit yourselves." I stepped out the door. Fhear stepped out behind me closing the door quietly. I looked up at the sun to see it was likely about three in the afternoon. I would be meeting Ahngar around seven just before dark. I stripped off my clothes and shifted the same way as before. It was just a pop and then I wore fur. I turned to Fhear who panted at me happily. I loved looking at the creaminess of his fur. 'Let's go. Where to?" I perked my ears up at him. 'Let's go check out your ghoul. I wonder if someone came to retrieve it. I was hoping the others would come, but I'm guessing they are going to feed instead.' I whined, but headed in that direction. 'What is in basement?' 'Ah, that would be where we feed. There are slaves there, we give them food and they are, well taken care of.' Fhear seemed to be uncomfortable talking about it. I dropped the subject and hit the edge of the woods. Fhear had reached the woods first. He'd slowed down and we were back to being cautious. We trotted slowly with purpose as we neared our border. The smell of rotting flesh was very faint, no longer fetid and strong as it was. I was thankful for that. I put my muzzle low to the ground and sniffed. 'Someone has been here recently.' 'Impossible, no one can cross the border.' Fhear began sniffing around me trying to pick up what I'd found. 'There, I found it... Male, human, possible for a second scent. Either two people or the human was something slightly more.' I whined. 'How does the barriers work?' Fhear licked his muzzle. 'To make one this big... Ahgony would have almost completely drained himself. It's easiest to do a doorway, a window, but an area is much harder. A trail of blood in closes the who area. It must have taken days.' 'So... it's only protection is against other super-naturals correct?' The thought made me a little squeamish. 'That is affirmative. They could have humans to come after us, but they wouldn't be any trouble for us.' We were now almost to the ghoul. We crawled on our bellies and neared where it had once laid. It was gone. The smell of the male was stronger here. He must not have known the exact location of the ghoul and had to look around. 'Do you recognize the scent?' I looked at him with big brown eyes, hopeful. 'Nope, never smelled a human like that before. It's like five humans piled in one.' Fhear huffed. 'Is that even possible though?' 'To my knowledge not likely.' A gun shot caused us both to duck down. There were a few reason's, we could be shot at. One would be that he thought we were actual wolves or he knew exactly what we were. 'Should we attack him?' I looked to Fhear and whined. 'Not sure. Try to focus on his emotions. You should be able to.' I did as he asked focusing all my energy on the man with the gun. He was about five hundred yards away. I could feel his anger, if he was the husband to the ghoul I knew what he must think. He was at work, his wife tending cows, when he got home lots of blood and no wife. I could see the images clearly, as if I was in his head. 'Because you re.' Fhears voice warmed my body. 'You know, that's as far as Ahgony can sense. I know he's there, but I can't get into his head. Let's go back, before he locates us again.' He nudged me back the way we came. I hesitated not able to leave the mans mind just yet. He knew something and I had to find out what. Then I saw it. A vampire loomed over him. His wife screaming, then it jumped back to seeing wolves in his field. 'He's had memories implanted.' I whined and started back toward the house. Fhear waited for me to take the lead and followed. 'What kind of implants did they do?' Fhear asked curiously. I continued to trot up the path toward the house. 'Well, I seen a vampire, it was blurry, but the fangs were unmistakable. They basically told him wolves dragged off his wife. From what I've got he's been looking for the wolves. Probably for a couple days before we found the ghoul.' 'It's not safe out here anymore then. Can't be caught in wolf forms. He can cross our border since he's mortal... no outside, not even around the house.' Fhear put the speed on as we moved closer to the edge of the trees. 'It's about five now You'll have a few hours before you meet with Ahngar.' I picked up speed to match Fhear. 'Okay. Oh. Shit I feel like such a bitch. They had gifts for me. Paiyne was right. I run whenever something I can't handle pops up.' 'You're such a survivor Sonata, sometimes it's best to just run. However eventually you'll have to fight. That's why we are here to teach you.' He gave me a quick glance as we rounded the front of the house. 'You shift I'll stand watch dog.' I rolled my eyes at him and let my thoughts drift to nothingness, letting go of my wolf. Before I knew it I was up on two legs again. I turned to Fhear, but was suddenly grabbed from behind. I felt a towel wrap around me. I gasped surprised and looked up. Pryide's eyes met mine and I blushed. "We heard gun shots." Nighhtmare stepped behind Pryide to look me over. "It's okay we're fine." I explained to them about the ghoul's husband. Pryide pulled me into the house. "it's not safe outside the fort anymore stay indoors." Paiyne cleared his throat. "Your new room is ready." "Oh?" I looked at each man curiously. "Come. The gifts we had for you earlier, we decided to give you them on our first dates with you." Paiyne took me from Pryide and led me toward the stairs. I looked around for Fhear. I felt safe with him, because he was so open. He was standing at the foot of the stairs. His honest eyes telling me it was okay to go with Paiyne. I followed Paiyne into the stairwell and up the stairs. He led me passed my old room and farther down the hall. I found a door at the very end of the hall. He opened the door and pulled me in. He flicked on the lights. I was surprised. I gasped in astonishment. There were six dressers, all with a man's name carved in it. I looked at Paiyne wide eyed. "As we said you will dress for each of us. I bought the clothes you will wear for Ahngar, and Pryide bought the ones you'll wear with Fhear. I made the dressers myself, if you were wondering." I noticed a hint of pride in his voice. "Their beautiful." I breathed it running my hand over the nearest one, which was right inside the door pressed to the wall. Four of the dressers were carved from oak and engraved in them were various scenes of wolves. The dresser with Pryide-wear was adorned with white lions. For Ahngar various types of serpents. I raised my eyebrow at it. "We've never seen his true form, but we suspect a dragonish creature." Paiyne smiled, it didn't suit him he was being nice, which was strange. He bowed his usual smirk back. "I'll leave you to get ready." Paiyne left the room closing the door gently behind him. I let out a sigh. How in the world was I going to do this and learn to defend myself as well. Not to mention when the hell was Ahgony going to come back. I walked over to the beautiful white oak dresser with fangs, serpents and wings. I opened the top drawer. My eyes widened as I saw the lacy thongs, bras and teddies. I drew a thong out, a wired bra and laid them on the bed. I found a door a-joining my room to a bathroom. It was simple enough a shower, a toilet, a sink, and a medicine cabinet. I shrugged and slipped off the towel Pryide had wrapped me in. I showered quickly, then shaved. I died off just as quickly. I walked back into my room and slid in the delicates. I then opened the second drawer and found beautiful halter tops, sleeveless t-shirts as well cash-mere sweaters. It was the beginning of August so a halter top was more comfortable. I grabbed a light blue one and tossed it over my head. I opened the third drawer to find it full of mini-skirts. Really... I wasn't sure what to think about all this. I hoped they'd thought about jeans. I was definitely not about to wear mini-skirts all the time. I reached for the fourth drawer and got my wish. I threw on a pair of bell bottoms. There was a small black box on top the dresser. I grabbed it and took it down stairs. I looked over the men in the living room and to my surprise Ahngar was already up. "Am I late?" I asked looking for a clock. "No, I rose early to feed my blood thirst before our date." Ahngar stood up letting me get a good look at him. He wore a button up shirt, it was tucked into his pants. He looked very business-like and made me feel under-dressed. I fiddled nervously with the black box in my hands. "Oh, I see you got my gift." I nodded. "Yes, but I didn't open it." He took the box from me gently and opened it facing me. What I saw made me gasp. There was a dragon inside, made of silver it had blue diamonds for eyes. It was beautiful. He pulled the silver chain out and gently slide the necklace over my head. The pendent rested gently on my breasts. "Thank you Ahngar... But I thought you weren't allowed to buy me anything?" He only smiled at me, before his eyes turned serious. "This is a very old gift from long, long ago. Now before we go off on our date. Paiyne has an announcement to make. If you'll take your usual seat?" He gestured to the couch. I allowed him to seat me and waited. Paiyne spoke from his normal recliner. "I received a package from Fed ex today. It was a most interesting package indeed." He reached down to the floor and picked up a thermos. "I have already checked the contents..." I eyed him suspiciously, waiting for the answer. "It's Ahgony's blood. As you realize this is two quarts worth and yes it is full. There was also a letter, addressed to you, Sonata." His eyes flashed with something I couldn't place. "A dead wolf was also left on the doorstep. We are being warned not to interfere." Before I could ask with what Paiyne slid an envelope across the coffee table. I opened it. It read: You are not safe, I have figured out that someone in Rikki's covenant is a spy and he may be the sole killer of the members in ours. On the day of Rikki and I's marriage there was an attempt on my life. I've been hiding ever since. Not even Rikki knows my location. I have sent with this letter two quarts of my own blood. Drink it and be free of me, or if you choose to, be the new master of my line, as I don't know what will become of me. If you don't hear from me in two weeks assume the worst. Make your choice wisely.

Ahgony

I growled. I was having so many god damn choices thrown at me. If they didn't stop soon I was going to have a melt down. I threw the letter at Paiyne. "Read it if you wish, and put that!" I pointed at the thermos. "In the freezer. Now next question. What color was the dead wolf?" Nighhtmare answered. "Silver." His cold eyes stared at me. "And I know what you're thinking. It's not him. The markings are wrong." I looked at his eyes, but something told me he wasn't so sure. "Where is the wolf?" I asked suddenly wanting to see the remains. "Out back, I'll take you to see it if you wish." The offer came from Dhemon. "No one heard anything?" I was very suspicious, how could someone sneak up on a houseful of vamp-weres? I Looked to each man, each one looked ashamed as if they knew what I was thinking. "Nothing, nada." This came from Fhear. If none of us heard someone toss a dead wolf on our front doorstep, we were in serious trouble. Which led to the question, how often did someone sneak right up to our door?

** Chapter 9**

The roar of Ahngar's jag rang in my ears as we squealed out of the mile long driveway. Dhemon had taken me to see the wolf carcass before we'd left. The hunter had not been the reason for the death. Instead it's throat had been torn out. The wolf was male, but did not smell like Ahgony. However the coincidence of the package as well as the wolf was just too weird. I hadn't noticed, but Ahngar was talking to me. "What? I'm sorry I was thinking about the wolf and the letter." "I said, we are going to a club." He seemed a little annoyed. Then I realized he hadn't fed his incubus side. "Oh... Are you going to feed on the emotions there?" He nodded and I frowned wondering if I would ever have to feed off both. "No." He answered as if reading my mind. "I think that you are an anomaly of sort. You received all of our powers, with minimum side affects. Which are mostly caused by you not being able to harness your abilities." "Are you the only one that can read my mind?" I asked suddenly guarding my thoughts. "Me and Fhear, both can, but only because we've recently been fed on by you." He either read my mind or simply sensed my discomfort because he added. "It's temporary unless we bite you in return." We pulled into the parking lot of a club called the Purple Lotus. I looked at Ahngar and frowned. I didn't much like pubs or bars, as they were called back in my day. I tensed as the smooth roar of the engine died. "Relax." He soothed. "Tis' a gay bar." I sighed irritated that he could read me like a book. He'd known a normal club would have made me extremely nervous. I could feel somewhat safe here. "Now, first, when we go in you're going to feel my pull. Subtly at first, but as I feed on their emotions it will strengthen, like before and you'll be ready to jump my scales." He rose an eyebrow. "Think you can handle it and resist?" Truth be told I wasn't sure I could. Especially if it was anything like what happened before. "I'll do my best." Ahngar smiled at me. "Okay then. Let's go." We got out of the car and headed for the door to the club. Ahngar stopped me. "Before we go in, scan who all is inside." "How do I do that?" I whispered. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it gently. "Reach out with your mind. Warm sensations are humans, warmer sensations are Lycans, cold is vampires. Dead spots are zombies." I closed my eyes and let my mind reach out. I felt a vibration on my skin. There were a ton of warm sensations. Then I felt a cool breeze that pulsated a couple times. Then nothing. "There are a ton of humans, maybe a couple vamps, and maybe one zombie?" "Well... good first try. There are a few weres, no zombies. If you feel a zombie it's like a numb feeling. Silence means you're done feeling." He tugged gently on my arm and led me back toward the doors. We flashed our I.D.'s to the attendee. She opened the door and we stepped in. I glanced around to see flashing lights. Strobes and disco balls lit up the dance floor. People were grinding and bumping against each other. I felt the cool stare of the vampires. As well as a heated glare from a Were. I stared at the floor, the lights making me nauseous. Ahngar led me to a booth in the corner and gently urged me against the wall. "You should be okay now. I chose a spot where the lights weren't so dominating." I slowly opened my eyes and smiled at his thoughtfulness. "Thank you." I murmured the words. "Get ready." Ahngar placed his hand on my thigh. "I'm going to focus so I only feed on the humans that are couple. The supernaturals will have no idea, except you. Because you are suppose to resist." I tensed and waited. Warmth flooded off Ahngar in thick waves. I felt it crawl down my throat and dance like flames on my skin. I closed my eyes and listened to the heartbeats on the dance floor. "What are you feeding from?" I asked my voice breathy. "Their arousal, lust, sometimes fear or anger. Try harder to block, I can feel your powers trying to rise to mingle with mine." He took my hand and placed it on his groin. I felt the huge bulge pressed firmly into the material of his pants and gasped. "Your call is doing that to me." I focused harder, thinking of the poor wolf that was left on our doorstep. The letter and blood sent to me by Ahgony. I thought about how much I needed to learn to control my new found powers, so I could prevent me, from being a dead wolf. Little by little Ahngar's power moved away from me until it was tiny kisses of flame that tingled my skin. I removed my hand from his groin and sighed relieved. I heard Ahngar say something and then it was gone. I relaxed completely. "You're done?" He nodded. I' resisted him and kept my hands to myself for the most part. Points for me. My victory was short lived however, when I noticed a female vamp eyeing me. "We're about to have company aren't we?" "Yes and you are to be silent, no matter what." He grabbed my hand to reassure me. The female vampire approached our table, she was about five, five, she wore her red curled hair down, it hung to her shoulders. Her eyes were a lively green, her thin lips formed a smile, she'd painted them a cheap red. I also noticed the man that was tailing behind her. However before I could get a good look at him in the flashing lights they were at our booth. "Hi." She beamed in a southern accent. "I'm Candy and this is Calvin." Calvin nodded in our direction. "I'm Acher and this is Sin." Ahngar answered for both of us, using the names on our I.D.'s. "Mind if we have a seat next to you?" She waited for Ahngar to nod, when he did she took a seat next to him and Calvin climbed in next to me. "So, what brings the two of you here? I mean you both seem heterosexual." Her eyes held suspicion. "Well you see Sin here hasn't spent much time around our kind. I'm teaching her how to sense crowds. "Ahngar had spoke a partial truth. "And the two of you?" Candy bit her lip nervously. "We're investigating. You see Calvin is a wolf, and well his brother has gone missing." I noticed her eyes dart to me. "Calvin said she's been putting of wolf vibes ever since she walked in. We wanted to know if you knew anything." I did my best to put on a blank face. "Why a gay bar though?" I blocked the images of the dead wolf as they started to resurface. "My brother was experimental, he liked to try anything just once." He breathed in deeply and tensed. I Thought that he might have smelled the wolf's corpse on me. "You're coming into season soon, maybe he smelled you and went to court you." His eyes were a heated green as he looked me over, licking his lips. I felt my fangs elongate, I hadn't fed before we left. I should have, but it was not hunger that had caused them to do so. It was my fight or flight response. Candy looked at me curiously. "How peculiar..." She said in disbelief. "You are wolf and vampire, that's like an oxymoron. You can't be both." "But she is." Calvin growled with arousal responding to my wolf in heat. I moved closer to Ahngar, who seemed completely at ease. He sent a wave of warmth over my skin. "What are you?" Calvin asked his eyes smoldering me. I finally got a good look at him, he was average as far as looks go. Nothing compared to what was next to me or the other five at home. "She is my fiance." Ahngar supplied. "And off limits." He rolled his eyes to Calvin, Ahngar's blue eyes were a flame. "Now, if you'll excuse us." Ahngar waited for them to move away and when they didn't he stiffened. It was my turn to growl as Calvin's hand shackled my wrist. "Remove your hand or I"ll bite it off." "Spoken like a true she-wolf." He grinned, something strange flickering in his eyes. "Is that what happened to my brother? He couldn't handle a real woman and was too embarrassed to come home and lick his wounds?" Ahngar went to answer for me, but I shot him a look. "I am a lone wolf and want no part of a pack. I haven't spent that much time around other supernaturals, but if a pack is anything like you, I'm glad I never had the chance." I jerked my wrist back. Calvin snarled at me for that action, but I didn't care. My flight response kicked in and I was going to do what I do best. I grabbed Ahngar and kicked out the table, giving the human's the illusion Calvin threw it. I ran for the door, dragging Ahngar with me. However in a matter of seconds it was Ahngar dragging me. Before I knew it, I was being shoved into the Jag. Then we were feeling out of the parking lot.

Chapter 10

The drive back to our haven was long and silent. I stared out the window into the night, wishing I could throw back my head and howl and to be answered by Raymos and his pack. However that was impossible. It was no longer safe. We pulled into the driveway and parked. The jags roar died. I frowned when I didn't find myself getting out of the vehicle. I looked to Ahngar. "Did they try to follow us?" There was anger in his eyes. "No, the visual trick you did with the table probably made them do a double take." He growled. "I never would have let you go in if I'd known we'd be harassed." I choked remembering the dead wolf. "He asked about his dead brother. Could that have been our warning?" Ahngar nodded. "Good possibility." He reached over and unfastened my seat belt. "It's not safe to sit in the car like this. We should get inside and get you fed." I opened the door and stepped out of the vehicle. A feeling of dread washed over me as I looked toward the house. Ahngar got out and froze as if feeling it to. I looked to Ahngar in fear. Before I knew it Ahngar was in front of me crouched down. "They followed us." He snarled. "You're picking up on their emotions. They think we killed his brother. They are angry and are going to want to fight. Run inside and get Nighhtmare, or Paiyne." I wanted to ask why them, but he turned on me, his eyes flaring. "Go now!" He snarled making me squeak. I used my vampiric speed to reach the door. I burst through it to find Nighhtmare eyeing me curiously. When he looked at my face, his expression became alarmed. Nighhtmare raced passed me and out the way I came in. Paiyne was next to me suddenly clasping my hand in his. He pulled me back out the door. I cried out as two wolves crashed together in front of me. Teeth, fur and blood blurred in front of me. I noticed that Nighhtmare's black furred body was knocked to the ground. "STOP!" Paiyne's voice was filled with authority. I ran to Nighhtmare's limp body to make sure he was still breathing, thankfully he was. I nuzzled his fur, he let out a whimper. I'd noticed that Calvin was now in human form arguing with Paiyne. I looked around for Ahngar who was still over by his jag. He wasn't alone. The woman "Candy" was speaking something to him in a whisper. I felt Nighhtmare's fur change back into skin. I gathered his naked body in my lap. I heard Paiyne shout. "She has plenty of suitors here!" "Make them back off!" Ahngar's growl was like a loud thunder. Ahngar had Candy by the throat, baring his fangs at her. Them? 'Fhear, Dhemon, Pryide get out here now!' I didn't know if they would hear me or not, but it was all I could think of. I looked down at Nighhtmare, he had a chunk of his right calf ripped open. I frowned, it would take him a couple hours to heal all the damage. I jumped as someone touched my shoulder. I looked up to see Fhear. "We heard you. We're here to do what we can." Fhear nodded and took off in a dead run toward the vehicles. He shifted to his creamy colored wolf on the go and tackled something near his crossfire. Pryide's white tail whipped by me as he followed Fhear into combat. I looked back to Nighhtmare's wound it'd sealed closed, but the muscle and tendons would still take awhile. I bit into my wrist and put it to his lips. "Drink, Nighhtmare." I didn't understand why I told him to do it, vampires didn't drink other vampires blood, well except me... The look of surprise in his eyes told me that he was a damaged man and no one had ever cared or done anything nice for him. He drank gently. I had an idea, I reached for the power I'd gained from Ahngar and pulled it up piece by piece. I groaned as I felt lust creep up on me. Once I had a hold of that feeling. I threw my mind outward. All heads turned on me. Nighhtmare stopped feeding and looked at me longingly. All, but Ahngar was moving toward me. Ahngar only smiled, he came to me for different reasons and at a faster pace. I noticed there were three wolves beside Calvin. They'd been hiding with Candy near the cars. Ahngar grabbed my free hand. "Now, let's focus that on Candy." When he touched me I felt some of my power pull back. Nighhtmare stopped pawing me and looked away ashamed. The only ones still enthralled were the enemy wolves and Candy. "Now, focus on the woman and throw all that emotion back at her, make her suck it down, so that when she breathes it radiates on her breath." Ahngar sat down behind me and helped me focus our powers together. I felt the emotions swirl and gather like a huge storm, then narrowed my eyes on Candy. As the power rushed out of me and into Candy it took the very breath from my lungs. When the power hit her, she took a step back. She had a look of confusion on her pretty face, which quickly turned into a snarl. "What have you done!?" She shrieked causing me to pull Nighhtmare farther into my lap and try to put us both in Ahngar's. My fear was short lived however, when the wolves turned back into humans and started toward Candy. Calvin trailed behind the others frowning, but his eyes held the same dull lust the others did. He moved toward Candy with purpose. "You!" Candy screamed running for me, but Calvin caught her arm and dragged her forcefully into their SUV parked fifty feet away from our vehicles. I heard her shrieking all the way till the end of our driveway. I looked down at Nighhtmare, he turned away from me embarrassed. However he gave me a good look at his jugular, my fangs elongated and I looked away. "Someone help him up." Fhear came over and pulled Nighhtmare to his feet. I looked at his backside and noticed all the scars. I frowned my heart reaching out to him. I turned in Ahngar's arms. I wanted to ask him if I could bite him, but he leaned his head to the side. I didn't hesitate. I struck deep and drank like I was deprived of fluids for a long time. I felt drained and the only thing that was going to quench my thirst was the man I was holding onto. I felt hands start to pull me away. I heard someone say. "Enough Sonata." But I wasn't listening. I clung to the man I was drinking from. "Sonata. As second in Ahgony's bloodline. I command you to stop!" Paiyne's voice hit me like a brick. I rolled out of Ahngar's arms and hissed as I moved away from him. I heard all their voices talking, discussing. Ahngar's voice sounded weak. "No, it's okay. She just over used her energy is all. I pushed her when I could have enthralled all of those wolves myself, then she fed Nighhtmare. She's not a threat. It's just her instincts kicking in that's all." Paiyne sounded angry. "No, at this moment she is highly dangerous. However we know that it's not her fault." "Paiyne please, release her, she looks like she's in pain." Fhear's voice warmed and calmed me, but I still had needles stabbing into my skull. "I release your binds, Sonata." Paiyne growled, the needles receded. I took in a deep breath and sighed. "It's okay Sonata go rest. I'm going to go feed." Ahngar smiled weakly, walking through the front door and disappearing. "Let's get you to your room." Fhear picked me up from the ground and carried me through the door to my room and laid me down on the bed. "Ahngar will be back after he feeds." He smiled. "Rest for now." I felt my eyes drift closed and let my mind go blank.

Chapter 11

When I woke up. I felt sluggish and still tired. I opened my eyes slowly and squeaked in alarm when my eyes rested on Nighhtmare. "What are you doing here?" I breathed. My gaze went to his deep brown eyes. They were cold, cold as the dead. His scar that marred his handsome face contributed to the harshness in his eyes. "I wanted to repay you for what you did last night." His voice was rough as if he was still embarrassed about having to take sustenance from me. I thought for a moment and then was morbidly curious. "Get in bed with me." The look of shock on his face made me think he was going to run. Instead he slipped off the leather jacket he'd been wearing and slipped into the King sized bed. Once in my bed Nighhtmare laid perfectly still. I frowned and touched his cheek, tracing the edge of the scar. "How did you get this?" He grabbed my wrist and pulled it away from his face. "This is not our date night." He growled, though the strength in his voice had weakened. "So? It's Ahngar's and he is trapped in his room for at least a few hours. Why not get a head start for Thursday?" I moved my hand down to the collar of his t-shirt. He groaned. "But, why start out like that. I'd much rather scare you into liking me rather then have you like me out of pity." I rolled over onto my side to see him gazing blankly at the ceiling as if he were somewhere far away. "But if you must know. I was a gladiator, not just any gladiator either. I was the favorite of the Caesar at the time. I was also unscratched since I was born a wolf. The Caesar's wife took a fancy to my unmarred skin and graceful movements. However she was also insanely jealous that she was tied to a man who was less than handsome." He paused as if not wanting to go on. "Nothing you say will make me think any different. If she betrayed you then she was no more human than we." I put my hand inside his collar and gently stroked him from collarbone to his throat. HE swallowed hard. "One night after a victory she invited me into her bed. The Caesar was out on a conquering quest. To her knowledge we were safe. She was beautiful, so Beautiful. Some said that she'd been touched by Aphrodite. We were in the middle of undressing. Then she grabbed a letter opener." He ran his finger over the scar on his eye. "After my eye, she went for my chest." He put his hand over mine and led it to his chest over his heart. "Then if things couldn't get any worse her husband burst into the room. He had me arrested. They took me and chained me up in the dungeon." Nighhtmare took my hand and pushed me back. He then grabbed the collar of his shirt pulling it swiftly over his hand. As he pulled it off completely, his back muscles flexed. "Then they left me there for two days without food or water. When they finally came for me, they came with whips. That's where the scars on the back came from. Some went straight to my spine. I thought they would paralyze me." His eyes shadowed over. "You don't want to see anymore of me. After the lashings they tried to... cut a certain part of my anatomy off." Oh god. No wonder he acted the way he did. "That's not the only time you've been betrayed is it?" I did not pity him, no I felt for him. My heart reached out to him. I couldn't help, but touch him. "No, it wasn't. They made me a whore after they allowed me to heal. Only a few women could stand to look at me. I had four clients. One of which I'd fallen in love with. I thought she felt the same way and then when I asked her to run away with me she laughed." I thought I seen a tear in his eye. "I asked her why... she told me "No woman in her right mind would be a fool, a desperate fool, to run away with a whore, and a damaged one at that." She broke my heart and I lost a client. A well paying one. I was broken again and this time I didn't want to live. They threw me out onto the street. I laid there waiting to die. Then when I thought death would end my suffering, I heard a wolf howl." I knew what was coming again, another betrayal and my heart was already aching so badly for him. Then he said something completely unexpected. "I know that I have no chance with you. The other wolves are such a better choice, however when you cared enough to help heal me, I didn't want to feel anything. I couldn't help myself I want you and know that I can't and couldn't have you." He laid back on the bed resting his head in his hands. I wanted to protect him, to hold him close to kiss him make him feel loved. Everything he wanted in his life was unattainable to him. He'd been used, beaten, made into a whore. For a man like him, he must have had a hard time telling me what he did and I wanted to repay him. Only Ahgony knew and now I did. I leaned over him, carefully judging his reaction. Nighhtmare had tensed, but didn't move. I had him in a vulnerable position as well. I laid a gentle kiss over his right eye. He inhaled sharply. I continued to go slow, kissing along his jawline making my way toward his lips. As my lips met his, he began to tremble beneath me. My fangs elongated, I gently nipped his bottom lip. "Un-do your pants." I leaned back to judge his expression. Nighhtmare looked at me curiously, but did as I asked. I then demanded him to slide them off. Again he obeyed. I took my top off and stripped off my jeans. I noticed he diverted his gaze from my under-garments. I figured that maybe he saw the lace a lot when he was made a whore. I took them off and threw them. I reached down to his boxers and to my surprise noticed he wasn't hard instead he was terrified. I frowned, instead I jumped up, straddling his hips. I leaned down to his neck and sank my fangs deep. When I felt him instantly harden. I almost weeped. He was a masochist. Thanks to all the pain he'd endured now he gets off on it. I heard him gasp as I started to draw blood from him. Finally I felt his arms wrap around me his hand going to the back of my head and he held me to him. I reached between us and freed his erection from his boxers. I rose my hips up, but stopped before impaling myself on him. I instead laid down on my side and then looked at his body. Even with the scars, he could have passed for a Greek god. Nighhtmare eyed my line of vision. When my eyes reached his erection he looked away. I ran my finger lightly down the tip. I seen where they had tried to castrate him and hissed. Not in disgust, but in anger that anyone could mutilate such a perfect man. I traced the scar that circled the base of him. He immediately lost his erection. He began making noises which I realized were sobs. He was crying! "Oh, Nighhtmare I'm so sorry!" I pulled him into my arms and covered us up. "Shh. It's okay. I would never intentionally hurt you. And if the man I choose is not you, I promise that if I can create, with passing the wolf DNA, that I will find someone to love you." And I would no matter what it took. I would for all of them if it was a possibility. We all deserve to be loved.

Chapter 12

Someone was gently shaking me awake. I opened my eyes to see Ahngar looking concerned. "What is it?" I groaned rolling over to find Nighhtmare gone. Ahngar sighed. "Don't go running off like I know you will when I tell you." He sat down on the bed next to me. I frowned at him waiting for him to continue. "Nighhtmare left right after we fed in the basement earlier." I blinked at that, I realized then who I was talking to. "What time is it?" "It's nine pm." As the time left his mouth, I blinked. I could not believe how long I'd been out. He was also right, I was going to run off and find Nighhtmare. "We are all going after Nighhtmare, what if he got shot and is laying somewhere bleeding to death. Candy and Calvin could have come back and taken him too." I growled. "Go get the others ready." I just wanted him out of my room. When he left, I snuck to the kitchen and found what I'd hoped. The thermos of blood I'd told Paiyne to put up sat on the island. It would be room temperature, but I bet I could keep it down. I grabbed it, tossed the cap off, and took a deep breath. I had no idea what this would do to me, but Ahgony had said it would make me strong. I put the cup to my lips and drank. I'd been right. It tasted awful. The blood was stale, since they left it out. Which made me wonder if they'd done it on purpose. I was on the last few swallows when Paiyne walked into the kitchen. "What have you done!" I drank the last drop and dropped the thermos to the floor. Bright colors assaulted me. Brighter then I ever could have imagined. Then voices, eight of them. I knew these voices were my children. My veins burned with electricity. Everything in my body burned as if alive. "Are you alright Sonata?" Paiyne steadied me. I couldn't talk just yet thoughts and questions bombarded me. Things I'd missed or hadn't realize and then it hit me. "Candy is in league with our betrayer." I breathed the statement in disbelief. "How else could she have crossed the barrier, why is it wolves commune with her? Is she like us?" Paiyne looked at me in disbelief. "You're right, what the fuck, what I don't get is that we couldn't sense that she was in league with the other side." He took a deep breath. "You're a master now." I nodded. "I can sense all of you. Including Nighhtmare. He is being held captive by some one. Ahgony is well, he's been hiding in a cave. I have a feeling if I concentrate enough I can pinpoint his location." "Nighhtmare's or Ahgony?" Paiyne looked hopeful. "Both, honestly, and if Candy is not the betrayer, I figure her master is. Then there is the possibility that her master is only a second, like you. Do you know any that may fit that description?" I looked at him with suspicion. "You think that I am the betrayer?" Paiyne held his hands up in surrender. "No, but someone as old as you and Ahgony as powerful as you, jealous maybe? Someone who would save his ass at any cost." I narrowed my eyes at him. "Wouldn't be you, cause you're an honorable, but arrogant man. You'd be too proud." "Actually there was, when Fhear was brought over there were a few of his pack that was brought over too. Fhear's pack had been attacked brutally by a rival pack. Dhemon, Fhear, and Raymos were the surviving three we..." I cut him off. "Raymos?" I gasped. Paiyne's eyes narrowed. "How do you know him?" I told him about the wolf pack that I use to use as a surveillance camera. He'd stiffened a couple of times, while I explained how often. I'd seen him and that he was always a wolf. "Is it possible for him to do that?" "Yes, he was probably biding his time waiting for the perfect time to kill you." Paiyne frowned. "Or he wanted you for something else." Anger and jealousy flickered in his eyes. "You're telling me he was just waiting for me to go in season?" I coughed. "It's possible." He thought for a moment. "You drank the blood because you plan to go after Nighhtmare right?" I nodded causing him to frown. "Well, then I guess we suit up and find him." "Who bought me goth clothing?" I wanted to look intimidating. "I believe Nighhtmare and Pryide did." He answered. I nodded and went back upstairs. I got into the dresser with Nighhtmare's name on it. I found an outfit that was black and purple. The corset style down the front made me grin. I liked it. I quickly threw it on. The halter top fit snugly, the bottoms were a skirt type design. I shuffled through several more drawers and found a trench coat. I threw it on. I rushed down the stairs. They were all waiting for me. "I'm going to ride with Fhear. Follow us, I'll track him on our way." They nodded to me and we piled into our vehicles. As soon as I fastened my seat belt I focused on the voices drowning out my thoughts. Nighhtmare's voice stuck out and I grabbed onto it. Soon I was in his mind, I could see what he could. He was in a basement somewhere, they had his wrists bound by silver. A hook had him hanging by the silver chains from the ceiling. Candy was in the room with him, her fangs bared. Since they had him in a basement it was going to be more difficult to locate him. I pulled back focusing on myself. I couldn't tell his exact location, but being wolves they had to be nearby. They also couldn't have gotten far in under three hours. "Drive about half an hour and pull onto the side of the road. We'll have to split up from there and search the woods for a cabin or secluded house." I gave directions as to which roads we should take, then sat back. "You really think you can find him?" Fhear asked as we peeled out of the driveway. "Yeah, I'll sniff him out as a wolf if I have to." I looked at Fhear, he was staring hard at the road as if pissed off. "Do you care for him?" Fhear's question was boggling to me. Did I care for Nighhtmare? Yes. Was he the only one I cared for? No. "I care for all of you since I am in theory your active master." That made Fhear grin. "The correct term would be Mistress of our bloodline." That asshole for correcting me, but I smiled. "I like that." I noticed as Fhear started to slow down, that we'd passed a park in this area when we had went shopping. "There is a small park up ahead we'll park there and shift." He turned on his blinker and took the exit. He parked the crossfire as close to the woods as was possible. Pryide's hummer did the same. I climbed out of the car, Fhear right behind me. Paiyne came out, I was going to leave battle plans to him, as I didn't have a clue, other then from books and games I'd played. "Ahngar, would it be possible to search by air? Sonata can fly, but we really need her on the ground." Paiyne looked at the demon-vamp questioningly. Ahngar seemed hesitant with his response, then he let out a sigh. "I suppose you'll all see sooner or later anyway." He took off his clothes and stepped into the woods, we followed. He began to shimmer and then his glamor dropped. Ahngar's pale skin faded into various textures of beautiful white and blue perlescent scales, just like the ones on his groin. He was now covered in them completely. Horns spike forth from his forehead, his hair became midnight black, a devil's tail curled behind him. He then uncurled his wings, making me gasp with awe. "S.O.B. He could pass for the devil himself." Paiyne backed away, moving closer to me. I shoved him, making a comment about them calling me the pup and how he was being no better himself. Ahngar smirked at Paiyne's comment. "Nah, he's more scary, furry, and oh not to mention very red." His now solid black eyes danced with mischief and amusement. "To the sky." He crouched down and shot upwards flapping his gigantic wings. "Rest of us strip down, no howling, communicate mind to mind only. Sonata you go as you are, since becoming Mistress you'll only need to concentrate to hear us." Paiyne explained as he started to strip off his goth-wear. "No one goes in alone, don't be a hero. I suspect they want Sonata for whatever reason it may be, we don't need anymore hostages taken." "Yes, Sir!" Fhear, Dhemon, and Pryide said in unison, then they were all wolves, except the beautiful rare, white lion, named Pryide.

Chapter 13

We all split up in separate directions. I headed straight north at a speed I'd never gone before. All my abilities had been enhanced by the blood I'd drank earlier. My speed, vision, hearing, as well as sense of smell had all been increased. I blurred by trees not even faltering As I ran I scanned the area as Ahngar had taught me to do. Every few minutes I also listened in on the others. No one had found anything yet. I ran as fast as my legs would carry me. Then on my next inhale I smelled him. "Nighhtmare." I breathed his name and found myself back in his mind. Calvin was talking to him. Telling him about Raymos and how his litter mate was once again about to betray him. I called myself back to my body. Then I called out to the others. 'North.' I felt them change direction and revealed in the feeling, it was a hell of a power trip. Ahngar of course reached me first. He landed before me and brought me to him. "Sad to think that we'd spend our night for the competition. However I have a feeling until all this settles evenings are going to be very eventful." Ahngar whispered it in my ears before stepping back. "The others." He said reluctantly. I nodded and tried to feel for Nighhtmare the way I'd just done with the rest of the pack. He wasn't too much farther. I moved ahead Ahngar following in tow. The others had caught up and we were slowly creeping toward a two story colonial in a clearing. "What's the plan Paiyne?" Paiyne shifted to his upright state. "We stay as wolves, you go in as you are..." He swallowed looking at Ahngar's clawed hands. "I trust you can keep her safe, while we keep the other pack busy?" Ahngar nodded at Paiyne. "We get Nighhtmare and get out." "No, we get Nighhtmare and take Raymos too. If our lines death is due to his scheming he must die. If he was merely involved then we torture him, then kill him after he spills the goods." I wanted to command it, but if I did and it wasn't possible we'd all die. "We do what we can." Paiyne answered then shifting back to wolf. Ahngar and I began walking up to the house, when he stopped me. "Use your illusion make it seem as if we aren't here." I did as he asked projecting an image of the tree line, we'd just come through, in front of us. I felt our wolves move, then sensed enemy wolves coming our direction. 'The basement has a window, let's bust through it.' We were moving faster now, I had no doubt the wolves would intercept our enemies on the outside, but I was concerned with who was inside. Ahngar and I rounded the corner of the two-story white colonial and I saw the window right in front of us. He dove in first rolling to fit through the small space. I tumbled in after him. I felt my face hit concrete and glass, but the pain wasn't important. I looked around disoriented at first, but my recovery time was minimal. I saw Ahngar already fending off Raymos and Candy making her way toward me fast. I shot a quick glance at Nighhtmare, who'd been knocked unconscious, before rolling to my right just out of Candy's reach. Candy stopped and glared at me. "I heard you were an escape artist, but seriously! Did you honestly think you would pop in grab your boy toy and go?" She sneered at me, I sneered back. Not wanting to waste the opportunity, I swept her legs out from under her with a quick kick. "And is all you do is talk? You're making my job easier." I growled jumping to my feet moving toward Nightmare. Raymos and Ahngar were just on the other side of him. Raymos lunged for Nighhtmare stopping short as Ahngar pulled him back. I grabbed the lower half of Nighhtmare's body and lifted him from the hook they'd hung from him. I laid him down gently right before I was grabbed by my hair. Hissing in pain. I clawed at my attacker. I must have got a good claw in her face as I felt flesh and blood then my hair was released. I turned on Candy, pouncing, snarling ferociously, not understanding what I was about to do. I felt a red haze take over me, a need so primal I didn't understand it. Anger filled me, I was seeing nothing, but the red haze. I grabbed her by her throat, my thumb pressing hard into the pressure point near her jaw. My fangs burst into my mouth and then I sank them deep into her soft white flesh. Candy screamed the entire time, clawing as I drank her essence. I could hear other voices, shouting, but they mattered not. The red haze, a new beast that was now within me screamed at me to drink every last drop and that's what I intended on doing. I swallowed her soul, her blood, until I was passed sated, then finally her heart slowed to almost a stop and that's when, I ripped her throat out. The red haze still blurred my vision, I shoved Candy's limp body aside and looked to Ahngar. Both, him and Raymos, were staring at me curiously. "Grab him." I growled, swiftly and easily throwing Nighhtmare over my shoulder. I looked at Raymos. "Stupid, wolf." Then I went for the stairs. I ran up to the first floor of the house, fueled by the red haze. I stepped right out the front door. Paiyne's wolf form met me there. "I'm taking Nighhtmare and flying back to the cars, I suggest you do the same." I regarded him with a grim expression, before shooting skyward carrying my limp pack mate. I hoped he wouldn't wake up and throw off my balance. He didn't. I reached the car and touched down gently. I laid Nighhtmare down in the back of the hummer. Ahngar arrived next carrying an unconscious Raymos. He threw him in the back of the crossfire, which was rather difficult considering the size of the trunk. "What if he wakes up?" even in my current state I was glad I could ask logical questions. Ahngar grinned with what seemed to be pride. "He won't, I have him under and ancient spell, I learned from a dream-eater long ago. He'll be out until I wake him." "Good, you'll have to teach it to me sometime." The redness in my vision started to fade. "Now, about what I did to Candy, I know nothing about what happens when one of us kills another in such away." I could tell the question made him uncomfortable, but his expression wasn't what gave it away. I felt his mind recoil. "Well, to be honest, normal vampires don't drink another vampires blood for any other reason then to gain that vampires power. You'll be sick in a few hours as your body adjusts to the new powers you have gained. Especially since you drank Ahgony's blood as well." I nodded and motioned for him to continue. "Not only that, but if you also inherited more of my traits, then you will also take on a bit of their personality as well as their power." He cleared his throat. "The others are on their way. We'll talk more at another unpressing time. Dawn will be coming soon." Paiyne and Fhear arrived, a few seconds later Dhemon and Pryide came around in human form carrying everyone's clothes. Paiyne and Fhear shifted, no one spoke as we climbed in our vehicles and headed back to base.

Chapter 14

Nighhtmare was still unconscious when we arrived. I went to the hummer and threw him back over my shoulder. Pryide came over to take him from me and I snarled at him. "I got him, take Raymos to the basement, lock him in the empty cell down there. I'll have someone explain why we have a dungeon later." Pryide was speechless a stunned look crossed his military trained face. He nodded and moved toward the crossfire. I gave him a nod and went to the house. I trailed up the stairs and straight to my room. I laid Nighhtmare down on the bed. I felt a meltdown coming on. My heart raced, I felt like I couldn't breathe. What I did in that basement confused me and scared me. From what I gathered I was a freak. Vampires weren't suppose to live off of other vampires. Only humans could sustain a vampire's life. I hated being a freak among freaks. I didn't know what kind of effects were going to happen. What if I did take on personalities like Ahngar had mentioned. What if I became a horrible person? Or if I craved killing now... When Ahgony turned me he told me to never feed with the intent to kill because it was like a high. Very addictive, and never enough. Nighhtmare stirred next to me, I forced myself to calm. I hadn't checked him for injuries yet and I needed to. I took a deep breath and looked over him. From what I could tell nothing was bleeding, but he was bruised. The cut on his mouth told me that they'd knocked him out. I kissed the cut then licked it gently. To my surprise, it healed instantly. I gasped. Candy must have been a healer. I'd been told all vampires have a unique individual ability. I noticed Nighhtmare had opened his eyes and was looking at me in wonder. I forced a smile. "You rest up, I've got a little business to attend to." The confusion on his face made me ache. "You came after me?" He made it a question. I nodded and his confused expression changed to awe. I got up to leave, when he suddenly shackled my wrist. "Thank you." He brought his face to my hand and nuzzled it like a love struck kitten. It made me uncomfortable. "Nighhtmare, I need to go now, you need rest. I have to interrogate Raymos." I tried to pry his fingers from my wrist, but was to no avail. "Did you kill her? Did you kill Candy?" His eyes looked hopeful. I nodded. "She...she touched me. Not like you did. She was rough, and you know..." I did know, the pain kept him hard, but his already scarred mind wanted no part of it. It seemed as if he was in a reverted state. He was almost childlike. "Shh, just rest and get some sleep. I'll be back later. I promise." He released my wrist and curled into a ball. I left him and headed toward the basement. Ahngar was at the top of the steps waiting. He was back in his glamor, but looking worse for wear. I looked at him puzzled. "It's almost dawn. I'm just feeling the effects is all." He smiled, but it was weak. "Let's go visit our prisoner." I nodded and followed him down into the basement. "How is Nighhtmare?" He asked as we took a left toward the holding cells. "Traumatized." I didn't feel like saying much else. We stopped in front of Raymos' cell where the others were patiently waiting. I turned to them an answered the question that they all wanted to know. "I seen the dungeon when I was in Nighhtmare's mind earlier is all." I turned to Raymos. "Who is your master?" "I'll never tell you!" He spat. Typical prisoner behavior. It pissed me off slightly, even more so when he added. "I know you won't hurt me." "You know, I'm not like that little wolf cub you stalked. Oh, no I drank Candy tills he died and I'll do the same to you if you do not tell me, the name of your new master." I was pleased when that got his attention. Raymos licked his lips nervously. "I would tell you if I could." I figured that to be true. "Anything you can give me about them without breaking the bond?" I knew there were ways around it. You can always talk about someone without really talking about them. "If you tell us I may let you live, after punishment of course." I looked to Paiyne to make sure I was allowed to do such things. No doubt I would be punished for killing Candy. He nodded, so then it was up to Raymos. Raymos thought carefully. "Lucy Lu." We all looked at him surprised. Paiyne spoke first. "Why would Rikki want Ahgony's kin dead? He was going to be a great asset to her as were we." Raymos thought carefully again. "I never killed anyone. She made me bring them all to her, just as you did with Candy, she stole their power. She'd named me her third in command as reward." Before I could get to it Fhear took the floor. "Who is her second?" Raymos came close to the bars. "Promise to keep me here and I"ll tell you whatever you want." I nodded the promise. "The guys name is Requiemous, I've never met him, but I hear he is more powerful than Ahgony. He's a native American and I hear he wields a gigantic sword. He was a drifter looking for a coven and that's all I know about him." "Calvin and the other wolves?" Fhear still had the floor, while I took everything in. "They are my pack. I'm Alpha." Raymos looked away ashamed. "I'm terribly sorry to spy on you the way I did." "Sure, you are." I laid the sarcasm on thick dragging out the sentence. "I"m done with him, keep him in there till we sort this out. I have more questions, but I'll wait till after I sleep. Dhemon I'll see you around one in the afternoon." I took Ahngar's hand. "I'll sleep with you tonight or should I say this day?" He nodded understanding my need to lay down with him. I felt bad because we never really spent anytime together thanks to the events the past couple days. Raymos whined as I left him there with the other men. I let Ahngar lead me to his room which was also in the basement. I walked into a room that could actually give a literal meaning to the phrase "My bedroom's in a dungeon." There were stripper poles, a table that looked like it was used for rougher means of sex. Then there was the canopy bed that screamed "Sex on me now!" Ahngar cleared his throat bringing my attention back to him. "An inside job. As well as a reminder..." He looked to the table thoughtfully then shut the door, and locked it up. He noticed me looking at the bed. "No, I haven't slept with anyone on this bed. You're safe." I hadn't realized that was the way I was looking at the bed. I walked over and sat down on it. I felt the soft silken sheets. I could definitely get use to this. I rolled around on the bed revealing in the soft blankets. It felt so good. Ahngar chuckled lightly. "In all my years I've never seen any do something like that." I only grinned at him when he climbed in bed next to me. "I can't help it." I rubbed the material between my fingers. He only smiled wider, before pulling me up next to him. "My energy is fading. I need to sleep very soon." He brought me against his body, resting his head on my shower. "Mmm. This feels real nice." I snuggled closer against him. Needing to feel him against me, he calmed me, soothed me, made me feel safe. "Yes, it does. You know... I hate the fact that everyone will get to have more intimate moments with you then I will." His voice held regret. "Just because they can have intercourse with me doesn't mean I will choose them over you. I know what goes on in an incubus' life and I know not only do you feed off emotions, that you are a sexual creatures by nature." I smiled looking up at him. "We need rest and I have to meet with Dhemon later." Ahngar nodded and closed his eyes. Only after he drifted off, did I allow my eyes to close and waited for the darkness of sleep to take over.

Chapter 15

Groaning as I awoke, I rolled over and looked at the clock. I noticed it was noon. I didn't have much time before I had to meet with Dehmon for our day together. Ahngar was out cold beside me. I got up and made my way to the stairs. I went up them rather quickly, heading straight for my room. Before even thinking about seeing Dehmon I needed a shower. I still felt tired, but I had a schedule to keep. I got a quick shower and shave. As I was applying lotion to my legs I noticed several bruises and cuts. There were also cuts on my face, more then likely from the window I'd rolled through last night. Walking over to the dresser, that had beautiful red wolves carved into it, I opened a drawer and frowned. Dehmon was one of the thong buyers. I groaned. I'd never really liked the damned things. They were so very uncomfortable. I grabbed a pink one and slipped it on. Next I went for a matching bra. I opened the next drawer down and once again groaned. Dehmon was the more dressy type apparently. Sleek short dresses filled the second drawer down. I grabbed a pale pink dress and slid it on my head. Pulling it down I groaned yet again. The damn thing came down only to about mid-thigh. I grabbed a pair of pink high heels from the closet and walked down to the living area, heels in hand. Dehmon met me at the bottom of the steps, he whistled at me. I frowned, uhg, was I seriously getting tired of this many men already? Rolling my eyes at him I stepped closer to kiss him on the cheek. "Good morning." Dehmon smiled and took my hand. "Where to lovely lady?" I thought about it for a minute. I'd seen a horse farm not far from here. "Have you lived around here long?" "Yes, I actually have a house about fort-five miles from here." He pulled me toward our living quarters. "If you can't decide we'll sit down a few." I nodded, but frowned he he looked me over. "You are not wearing my gift. Here, you sit and I'll go get it." I smiled and sat down on the cough. Which was a big mistake, I felt that much more tired after relaxing on the comfortable couch. When Dehmon returned, he had his little velvet box in his hands. When he opened the small box a jade wolf bracelet peeked out at me. He took it out and clasped it around my right wrist. "The pendent is imbued with the healing power of my tribes shaman. I've had it for centuries. I'm very sure you will make use of it. I nodded. "Thank you. Now have you ever been to that horse ranch?" I looked curiously at the little charm. It felt warm. "Yes, I have." Dehmon smiled. "Would you like to go?" When I looked at him sheepishly. "Yeah I know, they don't care much for us, however not all horses are horses." He winked. I gave him a "yeah right." look and he laughed. "Learn something new every day don't you." His laughter lit up his green eyes. "Go get changed. You'll find jeans in the bottom door and t-shirts in the second to bottom."

Chapter 16

After I'd changed into jeans and a sleeveless, Dehmon and I headed out to the car. When we arrived at the farm my face was lit with excitement. I all, but jumped out of the vehicle and bounced my way toward the stables. Dehmon followed chuckling amused. I continued my bounding until a familiar smell stopped me in my tracks. Blood. I growled Dehmon tensed beside me. "Let's check it out." He whispered it, a deathly use of words. I knew was going to get us in trouble. We snuck around the back and found a man standing over a woman's body. She was motionless, blood stained her midsection. The man looked up, his eyes shining with un-shed tears. "My mare, she was attacked by a wolf. She's dying and I am unable to heal her." At first I didn't understand. Then it hit me like a slap in the face. The mare he referred to was the woman laying on the ground. "I can help her." The words came from my throat before I could comprehend what I'd said. Dehmon looked at me in shock. I came closer to the man and his mare fidgeted waiting to see an act of malevolence from the male. There were no bad vibes so I went to work. I heard a fading heartbeat from her chest. I would need to act quickly. There was no way I could just simply heal her. I had to change her. I bit into my wrist cupping the back of her head, I pressed my now bleeding wrist to her lips. "Drink." My eyes flared as I gave the command, her throat started to convulse in swallows. I felt the stallion try to grab my shoulder. Dehmon was quick to snatch him back and hold him still. "She will not be the same, however she will be alive. "Dehmon's voice came out a warning growl. "What's your name?" He then attempted to calm the man. The woman clasped at my wrist clutching it to her tightly. I knew that was when I needed to pull back. I jerked my wrist from her and started waiting for the transformation to begin. I moved to Dehmon and I believed I'd heard the man say his name was Elric. My eyes burned into him. "Do not go near her. She will attack the first person she sees." He frowned at me as in disbelief. I ignored him. It seems like it was completely impossible for me to have a normal day now. I'd come here hoping for a fun, relaxing day out and then I got this instead. A distraught stallion, a convulsing mare soon to be vampire, and another rogue wolf. I wanted to scream, to go back before Ahgony pulled me away from my almost normal life. I knew that when the woman woke up, she would need to feed. I had already given much to her converting her so Dehmon offered. "No." Elric snorted a protest. "I am her stallion I will do it." Dehmon and I both shook our heads. "You're not strong enough to stop her." Elric nodded in understanding. "I am sorry also, but she will not be the same ever again. She will have to come with us and learn to live her new life." Elric pursed his lips together, but gave a solemn nod. "My other mares are out in the field, unharmed, I'm going to join them and let them know the unfortunate news." His expression was grim, a similar expression, no doubt, painted my features. Dehmon frowned moving over to the woman, he lifted her into a sitting position, looking over her face with concern. I knew then that this hadn't been the first time he had met her. His fingers drifted over her cheek bones in a gentle caress. "You like her?... What's her name?" I was glad to see that I could at least detour one man from my long list of suitors. "Her name is Shandra." At that moment she chose to wake, her eyes wild like every newborn vampire is. He immediately put his wrist to her lips. She bit down causing him to groan. "Alright, she's yours Dehmon, teach her the ways. As you have been taught by Ahgony. I'll question her later. I'm headed back to the others. I will see you there." I smiled when he nodded and started running back toward the house.

Chapter 17

The mansion wasn't far from the horse ranch, it was daylight so I was not concerned about anything coming to get me. I ran, stretching my legs, enjoying the feel of wind pulling my hair back. When I reached the door to the place Fhear met me. I smiled jumping into his arms. Now this is how a girl should be greeted. Nighhtmare stepped up behind him. His usual smirk was back, the coldness in his eyes. He licked his fangs tauntingly. "Where's little red wolf at hmm? Or was he not man enough for you." I rolled my eyes at him pulling out of Fhear's embrace to hug Nighhtmare causing him to stiffen. I laughed he wasn't expecting it. Priyde came over, I hugged him too. They ushered me in. Then onto the couch, Paiyne sat on his usual chair. Paiyne smiled. "I did some research while you were gone, about Requiemous. Raymos seems a little more talkative now." He stretched back lazily. "Don't blame me, for him being a little busted up." His grin was one of smugness. I groaned, wondering just how busted up Raymos really was. I let out a frustrated sigh. "Alright and what did you find out?" "He's not very old, possibly your age. He is like you in many ways, you could call him a protege' of sorts. He has exceeded most vampires by far, his power growing quickly. He already has the ability to fly, teleport and read minds at will. The only difference is that, unlike you he is in complete control of his powers. We," He looked to each man then back at me. "Want you to drain him and consume his power." His smile was cruel, calculated. I raised a curious eyebrow at him. "You can't be serious." I gaped when he nodded. "How do you expect me to do that? I mean if he's so powerful then how am I suppose to get close enough to do said plan?" Paiyne's cruel smile made me cringe. "Tempt him, seduce him, fuck him. Whatever it takes." I frowned, big time, I grabbed Fhears hand for reassurance. "As if I don't have enough on my plate already with you guys." I narrowed my eyes on him. At that time Dehmon arrived carrying Shandra. The other men raised eyebrows at him, then me. Dehmon nodded at me, then headed up the stairs to his room I'd imagine he was going to lay her down to rest. I noticed I was still receiving stares from my pack. "She was attacked with no hope of recovery. I converted her." Paiyne frowned. "Will she be like you?" I shook my head. "I'm not sure yet. She was a mare, I don't know if she'll now be both or just one." Fhear scooted closer to me, as if saying. "I only want you." Paiyne's eyes danced with curiosity. Pryide seemed un-interested. Nighhtmare had the same expression as Priyde. Paiyne grunted after a few moments. "Back to the matter at hand. Requiemous attends a bar in Athens, it's called Twisted. It's a biker bar, so be careful, and be sure not to draw attention to yourself. I will follow you there, in case you get into trouble. You must appear solo, or he will know something is up." I swallowed hard. I'd just became a master, and they were already giving me super hard missions. I groaned looking at Paiyne. Paiyne rolled his eyes at me. "You'll be fine Sonata. I will be there, I will protect you. No worries." I sighed and nodded. "I'll do my best. But no guarantees that I'll succeed. Tomorrow is my day with Fhear, then Nighhtmare, then you. So instead of taking away their days, since this is your idea. We'll go on Friday, your date night." I gave him a smug look. Paiyne huffed. "Fine, there will be other days for us. Go spend sometime with Ahngar, you know you want to." I scowled at him when Fhear tensed. I wanted to jump up and strangle him. I was trying to be as fair as I could be. "I think, I will spend some time alone actually. Good day to all of you." I growled leaving them and went to my room. Smoke awaited for me there. I was grateful for his company as I laid down and drifted asleep.

Chapter 18

I woke up to my door creaking slowly open. I groaned rolling away from the light as it spilled into my room. "Sonata, I'm not sure what they told you, but do know that it was not my idea." Ahngar's chocolate voice washed over me like a sheet of velvet. "I know, I'm sure it was all Paiyne's idea. How does Fhear feel about it?" I stretched my arm out toward him, welcoming him into my bed. He took my out stretched hand and I pulled him into the king-sized bed. His body was warmer then usual. I was rather curious about it. He however hadn't answered my question yet, so I waited. "Fhear was highly unhappy of course. Paiyne and Nighhtmare's idea really. Those two are quite unpredictable." He held me nuzzling my neck and smelling my hair. His demon powers beginning to flare to life. I felt the power of his seduction lick and caress my skin. Could his extra warmth be a build up of his incubus powers? I wasn't sure, but I felt my succubus rising to meet the needs of his. I felt my wolf protest at first, she growled in my mind, pacing with unease. My succubus powers however calmed her, it was almost as if there were two different entities sharing my body. The feeling was strange, and yet somehow comforting. "I can feel your powers Ahngar." My voice came out in a lustful growl. "Yes, and I feel yours. They are calling to me. Begging for me to be the incubus to your succubi. I have been longing for night time so I could see you." His face nuzzled my cheek in a cat sort of way. I kissed him, my mouth opening to deepen the touch. I felt as though I wanted to crawl inside him and to become one. A very strange feeling, indeed. He pulled away gasping for air. "Sonata, we can't." His breathing was hard and fast. "As much as I truly want to, you know we can't." He groaned frustrated flopping back onto the bed. I did my best to channel my energy into something else. Having known one I could actually do with him. I focused on my fangs. They immediately responded, elongating in my mouth. I thought about the spiciness of his blood. I could feel the sexual energy turning into pure thirst. Ahngar moved his long black hair to the side, I struck. My fangs pierced his skin with ease, immediately the blood hit my tongue, the hot taste of him almost dizzying. The feeding was different then usual, as if I was being satisfied on a whole other level. My succubus got exactly what she had wanted. Well, Almost, something was missing. I took a couple more swallows then pulled back. "Ahngar, bite me. Take my blood." My breathing was heavy, almost as if I'd just had the best mind blowing orgasm ever. I moved to lean down so he could have perfect access to my jugular. It was a need I couldn't quite understand, but somehow I knew it was the only thing I could give him. I felt his hesitation, mentally through our master-servant link. I touched his shoulder for reassurance. "I"m sure about this." Once he was reassured, I felt the point of his fangs scrape my skin. I groaned my womb had done this strange flip-flop. Then he sank his fangs deep ripping a gasp from my throat, I had felt a rush of energy swirling around me, as if I could just reach out and grab it. A rush that felt complete, a void inside my heart had been filled. I'd shared myself with another of my kind, now we were joined together as one. I had chosen a mate. Ahngar pulled back from my throat looking more sated than any person ever should. Male satisfaction forming on his lips. I felt the two small wounds heal seconds later. As his body accepted my blood, I felt a stirring in my mind. A feeling of utter anguish and loos. I knew the feelings were not my own, however they weighed heavily on my mind. I traced the path mentally, using the master link I had to all of my pack. I found Ahgony. I also knew that Ahngar was now forever tied to me as a mate. Ahngar was mine, in every way. His power, his love, his devotion. These ties however angered me, I had once again been tricked, because no one ever explained these sort of things to me until they happened. I looked toward Ahngar, he had laid back, a sated look painting his beautiful face. When he turned to look at me his expression turned to concern. "Just because you accidentally chose me does not mean you cannot have a wolf for your wolf." It made sense, but I frowned hard at his statements. They knew I would have to find something for each part of me to love. I bet they all knew that, I would have to choose more then one. Ahgony was such a shit! I hated how Ahgony always did this sort of thing to me. I felt Ahngar relax beside me. He must have known I was sorting through my thoughts. I wanted to kill Ahgony, to disown him, make him suffer and make him walk in my shoes. "I want to speak, no I NEED to speak with Ahgony." My words came out in a grim tone. My face holding a grimmer expression. Ahngar smiled. "Yes, you do." He paused momentarily. "He meant to talk to you before he left, however you were most preoccupied." His smile turned to a grin as if remembering what I'd done that night with him and Fhear. I snarled at him. "Don't be so damn smug. You could have told me." I threw a pillow at him. He laughed. "Do you honestly think you would have listened even if he had tried harder?" There was a lot of truth to that statement. Rather then make me listen he had given me a very vague warning. I despise vagueness, leaves too much mystery to things. He had failed me with his general warning, he had failed as my maker and I will not make his mistakes with Shandra. "Ahngar..." My voice held authority. "Why didn't YOU tell me? I'm sure you knew." His slow nod confirmed my suspicions. "Then why stay silent?" His grin told me everything I needed to know. He had been commanded not to by his maker. I knew he couldn't have told me, even if he really wanted to. I shook my head to clear my thoughts. It was time to find Ahgony.

Chapter 20

I closed my eyes and focused on Ahgony. I followed my mental link to him. I felt the sorrow of losing me weighing heavily on him, like a brick was being pushed into his heart with a sludge hammer. I had known Ahgony did not like sharing, he also did not like knowing that he could never have me after what he had done to me. I could tell that Ahgony was in a cave by the things he could smell, see and hear. I could smell the scent of ferns, the dirt and minerals littering the cave floor. I could also hear and smell water. Information hit me like a wall of bricks. Suddenly I know what state, city, county, forest and whatever else information was there in his mind. It was all mine now. Ahngar's touch scared me as he laid his hand on my thigh. "Let me help." His voice was like a velvet blanket covering my body in warmth. I felt his power jump into me, the feeling exhilarating. I searched deeper for Ahgony. A path began to form in my mind, a golden glow leading me through rivers, mountains, forests, crossing state after state, until it finally arrived just on the other side of the Canadian border. There, near a lake was a waterfall, hidden in a frozen forest. A cave hidden from view behind the fall of water. After searching the maze of twists and turns, I found him in a den-like crevice. I could see the shape of his body, which looked thin, I tried to focus on his facial features, they were blurry and I couldn't quite make them out, so I tried even harder. I felt an explosion of energy and before I knew what happened, my face met a hard solid surface, at a fast speed. I groaned as a solid object landed on my legs. It also groaned. I knew that it was Ahngar by the sound. "Where are we?" I hissed the words in pain. As Ahngar rolled off me. My eyes began to adjust to the darkness we had fallen into. Walls of glittering mossy stone surround me. I saw Ahngar standing up, he was accessing our surroundings. "It seems, as though you have teleported us, to Ahgony's location. Well done." I frowned. "But, I can't teleport..." "You can now." The answer had not come from my new mate, but from Ahgony, the very man I was searching for. His voice was raspy, grating and pained. I looked him over, he was only a little worse for wear, but not as bad as I had initially thought. He forced a smile at me. I could tell it was fake. His real smile made him look ten times more beautiful. "So, you've finally come to me. What is it you seek? Answers? Revenge?" His voice turned into a growl. I felt a shocked expression hit my face, revenge? Why would he say that? "Because, you are now master to my line, Sonata, I am, but second only to you." His frown was filled with pain, sorrow and loss. IT was true his voice, no longer made me feel weak in the knees, no longer made my heart skip a beat, it no longer made goosebumps litter my flesh. He had no power over me. I watched him curiously. He seemed very frustrated as he let out a loud sigh. "Flying... is a powerful ability, however teleporting that, is so much more. Not even I can teleport, Sonata, do you know what that means?" He pursed his lips at me, as if thinking. "It is probably a result of the combined power of your new mate." Jealousy laced his voice. I blinked and hated how he always knew so much. "Why didn't you tell me about the power I would gain? About what would happen to me, when I drank your blood? Why didn't you tell me you wanted me to take on more then one mate? How much more don't I know?" My words came out strained, I was fighting back tears of betrayal. He snapped at me. "If I had told you, would you have listened? Would you have heard a single word that spilled forth from my lips? " Before I could deny a word, he added. "No, you would have run. You would have hid, as I am doing now." His voice still harsh, and even slightly hostile. I was surprised as Ahngar remained completely silent, watching, waiting. The hostility in Ahgony's voice and posture faded suddenly. "But... it's my fault. You learned to hide, to run, from the best." Ahgony put his head down in shame. "So powerful and yet so helpless, I am." I was baffled with his self-accusations, Ahgony never, ever, in the time I knew him, was a coward. He does what he has to in order to survive. To me that is not being a coward. To me that is survival at it's finest. Ahngar was now uneased by something. I could hear the shifting of his thoughts, whispers in my mind. 'Bring him back to us, Sonata. He is traveling down a road that he will not be able to return from.' I didn't understand what Ahngar meant. Ahgony was never weak in this way. I looked at him curiously, he did look slightly crazed. His ice blue eyes were glowing with power, his body was shaking, his hands, clenched into tight fists. "Ahgony?" His name came out a question, not a reprimand, as I had wanted it to be. Ahgony jerked his head up to look at me. "And knowing that I can't have you only adds to myself hatred." He growled slamming his fist into the cave wall. Okay... we definitely needed to change our subject of conversation. "Are you aware that we have found the where-abouts of your attacker?" His ice blue eyes, glowed at me. "Yes... he was very fast, even for me. I had never seen him before. Everything he did was a complete blur." "His name is, Requiemous... Raymos told us the truth..." I would have to give the man kudos for besting Ahgony. "He is Rikki's second in command." The fire left Ahgony's eyes. "Second? Interesting..." Ahgony's expression became a calculating one. "Rikki's plans are bigger then I had assumed." Ahgony slumped down onto a nearby rock. He had an extremely hard look to his features. "You, captured Raymos?" I nodded. "I had always known he'd betray me. However I figured he'd try to play both sides for quite some time first." His concentration expression returned once more. "It is surprising to me, he did not do just that. Which means, he was absolutely sure Rikki would accomplish her goal." Ahgony seemed to be talking to himself more then to me and Ahngar. I looked to Ahngar and shrugged. 'I"m completely convinced he is talking with himself.' Ahngar nodded. 'He got like this once before, but that was quite some time ago when she...' He trailed off in my mind going completely silent. She/ She who? I had heard nothing of a she in our pack. The only she I knew other then me, was Rikki. Ahgony must have picked up on our thoughts. His eyes darted to me. "She, is none of your concern. There is only one "she" in my pack and that is you." Ahgony had a stone look on his face. "Actually there are two now." The words came out in a whisper. Had I actually meant to say it out loud? I don't know. His eyes flashed at me. I immediately assumed he'd not known about Shandra. "You successfully converted another female?" His eyes looked hopeful. "I"m not sure yet..." The words came out softly, but sharply. I looked to the floor. "I won't know until the next full moon." He pursed his lips. A flicker of interest glinting in his eyes. I looked into his mind and saw hope for his pack, his brothers... "Ahgony." I growled his name, as well as my next words. "Don't get your hopes up." He frowned. "Do you think you could teleport again?" I looked to Ahngar he sighed and replied. "You've drained me. Took damn near everything I had." I grumbled, for it to have taken everything he had, he was still holding up very well. "Ahgony is too weak for me to siphon his power as well. Guess we are pawing it back." Ahngar frowned. "That's an awful long way, Sonata." I sighed. "Well it's either that or find somewhere for the both of you to feed." "Feeding sounds splendid." Ahgony had perked up rather quickly, his fangs descending. I hesitated. I'd seen that look before. He hadn't fed in sometime. I'd have to be careful with whoever we found for nourishment. Frowning as I thought about Ahgony's fragile state of mind, I called to my wolf. My transformation was quick, faster then ever actually. It was like one fluid movement overtaking me with my soft white fur. Ahgony shifted slower, but still relatively fast, considering his state of health. Ahngar decided to stay in humanoid form. "You two can be my dogs." He grinned mischievously. I huffed at him. Ahgony was surprisingly silent in my mind, not using our mental link, or he just simply had no thoughts. We took off to the right and back through the tunnels of the cave. I whined as we exited the maze rather quickly, Ahgony had led us through. The cold air bit and nipped at my fur. I was so not a winter wolf. Ahgony however hadn't seemed to notice the temperature difference. His eyes were completely focused ahead. He was fixated on getting a meal. I raised my white muzzle to the air and sniffed. The smell was strange, like a buffalo or bison. 'Moose? There are moose around here?' I asked the question, rather confused. Ahgony nodded sniffing the air. I watched him cautiously. I'd much rather him feed off an animal then a human. At least I wouldn't feel guilty when he killed it. I felt Ahngar shiver next to me and frowned. 'Ahngar, why don't you wait in the cave. Ahgony should be able to feed off enough flesh and we will come back for you.' I watched Ahngar closely, he hesitated, but nodded walking into the cave. I continued to watch him until he was out of line of sight. He had looked back once, worry on his beautiful face. I looked at Ahgony, he was poised for a dash. I would him in the hunt, but not partake in the feasting. I never was fond of red meat. Suddenly Ahgony sprang forth, catching me off guard. I was quick to give chase, even in his malnourished state, he was lightening fast. I managed to keep up with him, however staying several feet behind. We ran through miles of frozen trees, the wind still biting at my fur. My nose normally was slightly damp, was now dry and cold. I had no idea how Ahgony was tracking anything in this environment. I couldn't smell a thing now. Finally Ahgony began to slow. He crouched down, now stalking. I knew we were close. I followed his lead, so I wouldn't scare the beast. I could now hear the beast pawing at the snow. Soon I was able to see it. The creature was a giant bull, muscled and scared from either fights for territory or from predators such as us. I began having second thoughts about this hunting trip. This bull was old, skilled, and wise. I didn't see our success rate as being very high. Ahgony however, was full of confidence when he approached, circling around, hiding in the bushes and trees. His plan was to go for the throat. Mine was to grab a hind leg and rip out the tendons. I read Ahgony's mind waiting to pounce at the same moment he did, trapping the bull between the two of us. Ahgony let out a snarl as he leapt forth, the beast rearing up on it's hind legs, which is when I made my move. I bit straight into that muscled thigh, jerking my head from side to side. I tore tendons, ligaments, muscles and veins. Getting the creature down was my only thought. The beast retaliated, all of a sudden I was in the air. The animal was bucking frantically trying to get itself out of my maw. However, it wasn't able to, I had my jaw in a death grip. That is, until his other hind leg met with the soft part of my belly. It was, insta-yelp, my teeth came free and I went sailing through the air. I slammed into a nearby tree, with a very loud crack. My vision blurred, the last thing I remember was Ahgony locking his teeth deeper into the bulls throat.

Chapter 21

I awoke to a hard cold surface beneath me. My head was pounding, my whole body aching in general. I tried to move, but couldn't. Then I heard a voice, Ahngar's soothing chocolate voice. "Oh, Sonata what did you do this time? I feared something like this would happen." He petted my head and that's when I realized I was still in wolf form. I rolled my eyes and lout out a low whine. "Sonata, I'm so sorry, I knew I should have gone with the two of you." His voice held an enormous amount of regret. Gone with the two of who? The question floated through my mind, but I was drawing a blank. "Ahgony... he is missing by the way. He left you here and I don't understand why. It's not like him." I growled. I didn't remember going anywhere with Ahgony. The pain in my bell quickly took over my thoughts, leaving not a trace of any memory. I wanted very much to lick my wounds. "You have some internal bleeding in your intestines, and you fractured your spine. The healing process is taking a very long time, because you are in wolf form. You will remain a wolf until the spine recovers." He frowned and cuddled up to me, chuckling after a moment of silence. "I don't know how humans do this, it's freezing out here!" I had noticed the temperature, I had also noticed he had conjured layer after layer of clothing. He looked rather silly. I'm also sure that he is use to much warmer weather. He sighed once more. "I would offer you sustenance, but I haven't fed yet either." I was having a hard time breathing. How long would we have to wait before I healed. Ahngar must have been in my thoughts, he supplied an answer that I was not fond of. I wanted to scream. Four hours! Could we even survive that long? Surely one of us would freeze to death. "Don't worry. I have a friend on the way." He stroked my furred head gently, in an effort to calm me. However what he had said alarmed me. Friends? What kind of friends? Female? Or male? What species were they? He sighed. "Do not worry. They are co-ed and they are ice demons. You do not have to worry about them at all. I have known them for a very long time." He smiled the gesture sincere. The fact that they were supernatural and not a species of vampire was good. However, I did not want any other females around my newly acquired mate. I tried to get up again, but found I was still paralyzed. I snarled in frustration. "Easy, I can hear them coming now." He continued petting me, but I found it irritating. I had the sudden urge to bite his hand. My ear twitched as I heard an engine in the distance. After a few minutes I saw a bright yellow duplicate of Pryide's vehicle. It rolled to a stop about fifty feet away from our location. Great. That means someone would have to carry me to it. I was in for a very painful ride. Before I could blink two pale humanoids were standing over us. The woman was beautiful, in a mystical way. Her hair was in a long ponytail, the color was one of I couldn't explain. It was very glossy, gray-blue and oddly didn't move with the wind. Her eyes were icier blue then Ahgony's, her lips were as well, though it was not a lipstick. She was a tiny build, athletic, but small. The man with her had the same build, color eyes, and hair, they were beautiful, like something you would see in a Christmas movie. Ahngar cleared his throat bringing my intelligent eyes to him. "Sonata, this is Faust and Eyeci." Eyeci spoke first. "Ahngar, it has been too long." Her accent was a very thick Hungarian, it was musical, enchanting, just as her appearance. "Yes, ma'am, it has." Faust was definitely a man of the south. Ahngar stood up with help from Faust. The bulky clothing made it difficult to get up on his own. Faust went for me next, I growled baring my sharp, glinting teeth. "Sonata! Manners please, these are our friends." Ahngar was not happy with me growling at his old buddies. I couldn't help it, I knew it was going to hurt, badly. AS soon as Faust put his arms under my furred body, I yelped, fighting not to do the animalistic thing and bite him. "It's alright little lady. I'll make sure this is quick." He closed his eyes and we were at the vehicle. Did he just teleport? "No, Sin, shadow-stepping. It's not the same. Only works as far as they can see and only if there are shadows." Ahngar had again answered a question with out me initiating it. Faust put me in the back seat as gently as he could. A few involuntary yelps escaped my muzzle as he removed his arms from beneath me. Eyeci climbed in the passenger seat turning back to look at me. "It will be alright puppy, we will have you at our place in no time." I wondered how Ahngar had gotten a hold of them. Certainly no cell phones worked out here. Faust climbed in the drivers seat and winked at me. "Ancient demon telepathy of course." Oh crap. They can all read my mind, my private thoughts. Suddenly I felt silly. "not your thoughts, Sonata, mine. However since I'm always in your mind, they just pick up on some things. Now try to rest for me." Ahngar started petting me once again. This time, it was soothing. I let my eyes drift closed and fell asleep amongst the pain.

Chapter 22

I dreamed. I don't normally have dreams, but I still knew that's what it was. I was back at the fort. My handsome demon holding me. Nighhtmare lay at our feet watching some movie on the tube. Dehmon, Pryide and Paiyne were talking in the billiard room Fhear? Fhear was... Where was Fhear? Surely he would be near me and Ahngar. Suddenly a scream, that sounded more like a howl, came from upstairs. The sound sent goosebumps traveling over my skin. I ran, or tried to. It was as if I was running in a thick substance, I was slow. When I finally reached the steps, Ahgony was at the top. He was covered in so much blood. He smiled, his fangs extended, and he mouth something. No words came out, but it looked like he had said. "If this wolf can't have you, no wolf will." Then his face contorted into that of a monstrous wolf, he came at me so fast, his jaws wide and then I awoke with a scream. Faust was there. He grabbed my shoulders and pushed me against some sort of bed. "Don't do that ma'am, your back just healed up. You wanna fracture it again?" I realized I was flailing and calmed down. He released my arms when I stopped the flailing. I leaned back in the bed relaxing, he had moved to sat in a chair next to me. "Where is Ahngar?" I could tell my voice was shaking. "He's at the pub downtown... feeding." Faust fidgeted as if nervous. "And I am suppose to feed you." I gawked, he was a beautiful man, but would not Eyeci get jealous? I mean wow, how could she just let another female suck her man's neck. Not to mention, possibly more. I mean since I started drinking blood haven't I craved "that" as well? "If you are worried about Eyeci, she won't be a problem. I"m worried about Ahngar. Sure he'll share with a wolf, but I doubt he'll share with another demon." I raised an eyebrow wondering if all demons were equipped with dangerous gear. The gear like Ahngar had below. "I can understand why. Do you have spines?" He raised his eyebrows at me and chuckled. "Just one big one, looks almost like a scorpion tail. Hopefully you'll just want to feed." "I have more questions first." I pouted wanting to know more about him and his species. Not to mention I was procrastinating. I did not want things to lead to intercourse. Damn demons and their spines, spurs ,barbs, and scales. "Uh, how am I back in human form?" It was awful how I knew close to nothing about my species, my habits, needs. Horrible that I found out these things from others, sometimes not even my species. "Ah, changin' the subject hmm? Alrighty then." He paused for a moment. "Well, when you healed enough, I assume you did it automatically, so you could finish the job faster." So, it must have been the whole paralyzed thing. My spine being fractured preventing me from changing back and healing. "Okay... what is Eyeci to you?" "Ah, hah! Back on the topic hmm?" His eyes danced with excitement. "Eyeci is a very good companion. Known her for many, many yours. However we do not favor each other intimately." He frowned when I gave him a disapproving look. "Do all demons just sleep around or what?" I blurted the accusation before I thought about what I was saying. Faust chuckled, which surprised me. "Oh no, it's not sleeping around. There are so few of us, we have to preserve the species, ya know?" He wiggled his eyebrows. I frowned, was everyone about preserving the species these days? I mean seriously, Ahgony is all about spreading his blood-line. All about creating more vamp-thropes, finding mates for his pack and of course this would lead to the first live birth of a vampiric creature. Even worse it was as if all supernatural men had equipment to ensure pregnancy. Uhg. "So... do the two of you actually "try" to preserve the species?" He raised a curious eyebrow. "Many years ago, yes. WE had tried and she was unreceptive. Unfortunately, unlike succubi and incubi, we can't just mate with anything. Oh no, half-breeds here, which is why we are dying out." He seemed grief stricken, I felt sorry for him. "How many?" I asked. "Maybe twenty of us frost-demons. There weren't many of us to begin with. We have extremely long lifespans and only one of us is needed on a continent." Now I really felt bad, but then again only a few of my species existed too. If I had the power, I would definitely do my best to make the frost-demons happy. At least these two. They had helped us in a time of need and I am sure after all this, eventually we would meet again. "I'm sorry for asking." I finally said after several moments of awkward silence. "Don't be." He replied with utmost sincerity. "Now, are you thirsty?" I thought for a moment, unconsciously tonguing my fangs. Yes, I was thirsty. The tingling in my gums, very apparent. However, Faust was a new species for me and if I fed on him, what sort of freaky new powers would I gain? I did not want to think about it. Then again, what if I could create frost-demon vampire hybrids, would it even be possible? I shook my head to clear my thoughts. "Who said you were to feed on me?" "Eyeci, which is why I"m not worried about her. Ahngar, on the other hand seemed infuriated, that's when he said he was going to the pub." He frowned looking away. "Said that, if I thought of even touching you sexually, he'd rip my throat out." I felt my eyes widen. Strange how well Ahngar shares with Fhear, but not with another demon. "Well let's hope it don't come to that." I reached for him, ignoring the uncertainty that clouded my mind. I touched his hand, which for him to be a frost-demon, his hand was surprisingly warm. That wasn't the only strange thing, when our skin touched, I felt a strange sensation start at my fingertips. It fluttered like a flame to my neck. I jumped back, in shock. "You, lie." I whispered the words. Faust smiled. "Why, what do you mean ma'am?" "I call bullshit. You lied when you said there wasn't any half-breeds. You, yourself are a half-breed!" I hissed at him. His smile faded. "How do you know/" He pulled back, to once again sit in the leather chair. "Because, you are part incubus and you tried to roll me! I don't know much about frost-demons, but I felt the pull of an incubus." I stayed away from him, moving to the far side of the wooden bed. "So, it is true, you are part succubus, no wonder my cousin has a feel for you. He is drawn to you." His southern accent was think. It pissed me off. Why is it that all the men in my life have hidden agendas. Ones, that are close to slinging me over their shoulder and dragging me off to some secluded cave. Uhg! Men! "I will wait until Ahngar comes back." I flashed my eyes at him, a warning. I wanted him to leave and to stay away from me!" He laughed. "If that's what you want, sugar. Then I will leave, till your mate comes back." I flashed my fangs at him and snarled. I growled wanting to force him to leave. Giving, the impression if he got near me again, I would be the one ripping his throat out. He smiled, showing me a double set of canines. "Do not worry darlin' I will not force you to do anything you do not want to do." "No, you will just try to manipulate me into doing it." I rolled my eyes grumbling. "Just go away, please." "Fine." He got up and walked away shutting the door behind him. I saw the dead bolt on the inside of the room. I wanted it locked, but did not want to get out of the bed. I was still somewhat sore. I sighed and the deadbolt locked itself. I jumped. Again, another new power. I really was getting tired of all these new powers sneaking up on me. I wish they would go away. If I continued to gain power after power, I would eventually not be able to hide and the world would want my head on a silver platter. I rolled over onto my side and tried not to think about all my over-whelming powers, about how powerful I was to become and how every single supernatural will come after me.

Chapter 23

I was still contemplating when Ahngar knocked on the door. "Sonata... it's Ahngar. Unlock the door please." I huffed, sure I would unlock the door, however I didn't have to get up to do it. I had been playing with my newly gained ability since kicking Faust out. I flicked my hand at the lock, it slammed backwards, unlocking itself. I heard Ahngar gasp as he rushed in. Ahngar stared at me and I at him. It was an awkward silence. Finally, he spoke. "How long has that been going on?" He looked toward the dead bolt. I shrugged. "Maybe an hour? I'm not sure... I also don't know where or who it came from. The only explanation I have is our mating." I looked down, somewhat ashamed. I really had no idea what kind of powers were within me. "Did you feed?" "Yes, enough for both of us." Ahngar winked at me, making a blush creep into my cheeks. "You knew I wouldn't feed on Faust?" I was surprised, that he knew I didn't. My eyebrows raised curiously. Ahngar nodded, smiling with those sinful lips of his. "I know you wouldn't, you did not want another species in you." Damn right I didn't. "Nope." Then I remembered my dream and panicked. "I need to feed so we can get home." Ahngar picked up on my urgency and must have ready my min. "Ahgony wouldn't do that, trust me, but to assure you, go ahead and drink." He walked over and leaned across the bed. My fangs extended and I struck. As I drank I wondered if Ahgony was capable of killing Fhear. I wondered if he was that jealous and selfish. I heard Ahngar say enough, and I stopped feeding. He stroked my hair pulling me against his chest. "Now, do you remember how you teleported?" Yeah, I did and hopefully I could do it again. I grabbed Ahngar's hand. I focused all my energy entirely into my metaphysical path to Fhear. I could hear arguing, the voices belonged to Paiyne, Pryide, and Nighhtmare. Fhear must have been observing. I felt his presence in the corner of the den and I locked on. I could see Fhear's face, he was ashen, worried, and confused. I wanted to reach out and touch him badly, to comfort him, stroking that pale blond hair of his. I knew that's when I had to jump. I pulled on Ahngar's energy, it flowed into me like a warm breeze, adding to my own. I closed my eyes, thinking only of my blonde wolf. I was slightly more controlled this time. I felt myself drift through time and space, then we landed straight on top of poor Fhear. We all let out a groan. Ahngar made a snarky comment about my landing abilities. "Sonata!" Paiyne growled my name. "Where have you been?" His accusing eyes glared at me, making me cringe. I slid out from beneath Ahngar and glared back. "I went to see Ahgony. Has he been here yet?" Paiyne's expression quickly changed to concern. "No... he hasn't been here, what happened?" Relief washed over me, we had still beat him back. "He went awol on us and left me to die in a frozen forest somewhere in Canada." I growled, remembering lying beneath that tree. Paiyne helped me to my feet, his eyes held disbelief at my words. "Ahgony did what?" "He left her, hurt, after a hunt. We were trying to get back here." Ahngar answered, before I could "Ahgony had said I was more powerful then he. He freaked out had some crazy, blood thirsty look to his eyes and now he's disappeared on us. I watched Paiyne's face carefully. He looked like he had mixed feelings on the subject. We were all silent for a few awkward moments as Fhear and Ahngar stood up. Nighhtmare broke the silence. "Why did you land like that on Fhear?" Paiyne and Pryide both cocked eyebrows. "Yes, why did you land on Fhear?" I growled, I didn't get it. Why was teleporting such a big deal? I mean really it's not like I was the first one to do it... Right? "I teleported, what of it?" Yeah, I was getting slightly irritated. Being the prettiest model on the lot, due to my ever increasing powers, was getting very old. They all were staring, gaping at me in awe. I growled, the sound animalistic in nature. To my surprise everyone took a step back. Everyone, but Ahngar that is. Ahngar only grinned, proud of my extraordinary abilities. I hissed at him, it was very lizard-like. Ahngar's grin widened. Apparently some of his traits were becoming my own. I hated how I took on everyone's traits after I fed on them. Curse my apparently powerful blood. Paiyne frowned. "This could be very good and very bad. Sonata... there is only one other vampiric creature that can teleport." Great, now he's going to tell me that I"m some reincarnation of a goddess or something. I rolled my eyes, strolling over to the couch to sit down. I yawned and stretched out, relaxing now that I knew everyone was safe. "You got to be kidding me. Did she just do what I think she did?" I could hear the total disbelief in Paiyne's voice. It made me smile. Fhear's laughter warmed me as he quickly replied. "She totally, just blew you off." Pryide's deep laugh joined in, but not Nighhtmare's. He had come to lay at my feet, staring at me in a curious way. So, curious it was creepy. I stared back at him, but he dropped his gaze. "How long has he been like this?" I wondered, aloud, looking over the back of the couch. Fhear shrugged. "He has been moping around ever since you guys went missing." Really... "Nighhtmare? What's eating you?" Gah, even my speech pattern has changed. "I..." His expression turned back to the creepy molester type, instantly. "They." He pointed to the others, "Freaked out when you suddenly disappeared. Now that you're back they can quit their whimpering." Nighhtmare got up, crossing his arms over his chest, he stormed up the stairs without another word. Paiyne moved in front of me. "What did you do to him? I thought the only pups you've fucked have been Fhear and Ahngar, but I did not expect Nighhtmare." He had one arm on the back of the couch, his other on the arm next to me. I could tell Paiyne's pride was hurt. He was an alpha at heart and he thought I"d already chosen a wolf, that he would never be considered. Do I make him feel better and tell him Nighhtmare can't keep it up? Or do I make him feel worse and tell him I can't stand his high and mighty attitude? I decided the latter. "For your information, no, I have not fucked Nighhtmare and at the rate you're going, he'll get a chance long before you do. Now back the fuck off!" The growl that accompanied my voice demanded obedience. Paiyne looked as though I'd physically slapped him across the face. His cheeks flushed, a defiant blaze filled his eyes. I decided to abuse my powers and infiltrate his mind for kicks. 'She's crazy to think any of them are better then me. I"m the fastest, the strongest, I have all the alpha qualities a female needs. The rest are just pups. I am the perfect mate.' Very interesting, I wondered how the rest of them thought of themselves. I would listen in on them some other time. Right now Paiyne's thoughts amused me. I listened in more. 'Ahgony never deserved her, Ahgony didn't deserve the first one either. Why, if she had been with me they never would have found her.' Paiyne's anger came in physical details. The tightened jaw, clenched fists, furrowed brow, all signs of jealousy, anger and shame. I realized, I had just found out some information about Ahgony's "she". Apparently she was the other like me, but she was taken, killed, or missing. I had a very interesting though. A cruel smile, not my own, formed on my lips. "Paiyne, as Mistress of this line, I command you to tell me about "her", the "she" that riddles both yours and Ahgony's minds." Paiyne's anger quickly turned into shock. "You... you cannot ask that of me." Fhear grabbed my arm, shaking his head. "You really shouldn't ask about her. It's bad news for all of us." I shrugged Fhear off. "I am the Mistress of your line, I can do as I please. Now one of you tell me what I want to know." I turned glaring at Ahngar. Ahngar put his hands up shaking his head. "I was not with them, I only knew of Symphony." He pointed to Paiyne. "You were right to ask the wolf you did." Paiyne sighed, obviously distressed by my request, no, my demand. "Come with me." He sighed heavily, offering me his hand, I took it. Paiyne lead me upstairs and to the door of his room. He hesitated there, before opening it. "Do you understand, that this is going to be very painful for me." I growled, it couldn't be any worse then what Nighhtmare had gone through. "I can't answer that until you've told me, shown me, whatever it is that we're doing." Paiyne gave me the coldest stare he had ever given me. His ice blue eyes penetrated me, causing my heart to skip a beat and a shiver down my spine. It was if those eyes had peeked into my very soul. I guess Paiyne was satisfied with what he saw in me. He opened the door wide enough for both of us to pass through. As I strode into the room, I couldn't help, but notice all the Nordic relics, inspiration and historical items. There were helmets with large horns, the bed was carved in the shape of a viking vessel, his furniture was all carved from red wood and adorned with the fur of large felines. "Cat hater." I mumbled the words, but I knew he had heard me. "This way." He pulled me passed the bed and toward the closet. When he opened the door, I didn't know whether to cry or be shocked. There, right there before my eyes, was a very old painting. The painting of a beautiful red-headed woman. Her hair reminded me of an un-tameable fire. Her eyes were as green as an emerald. Her skin as white as the most perfect clouds. She was mystical, but it wasn't the painting that had made me feel so sad and shocked. It was the fact that Paiyne had saved everything he could, that had been hers, and had made a shrine of her, he had loved her, Symphony. "What happened to her?" I caressed an antique hairbrush, trying to imagine what she was like. What kind of powers she had possessed. How many abilities did we have in common? Paiyne had recoiled when I had touched the brush, but he did not reprimand my actions either. He was trying to let her go. His hand shook as he nudged me from the door taking the brush from my hand and placing it back. When he went to speak his voice was harsh, strained even. "She was with Ahgony," His face held disgust for his twin. "They were running as wolves, the moon was full, snow on the ground. Keep in mind that Ahgony, was not as powerful as he is now, nor was Symphony as powerful as you. Her powers were more complex. teleportation, shadow stepping, vampire on vampire telepathy, things like that. Things that you too possessive and make you very intriguing, but not strong. Like you, other clans desired her, hoping to harness, no, harvest her abilities for their own agendas. They all want to know what makes Ahgony's bloodline so special." Paiyne stopped, a strained expression masking his face. "She ran ahead of Ahgony into and open field, when Ahngony caught up to her, she was gone... Ahgony searched for her, for two days straight." His pained expression turned to rage. "We found her, four months later, they had..." His voice raised a pitch. "They had dissected her, used her as a lab rat. I wished they had taken me... I was watching Ahgony and her from afar. Then again I did not passoss what they sought." He must have not been able to tell anything further as he just turned away slowly. I felt outraged, why was it all vampire creatures cared about was getting more and more powerful? I could not believe that they could do that to another of their own kin, just to further their own abilities. "Paiyne, I am sorry." "I don't need your sympathy. I don't need your pity." He growled. "You should go spend time with Fhear. You're his today. My day is tomorrow." He gave a small shove when I didn't move. "I said get out!" He growled. Well since he put it that way, I would get out. I wanted to check on Shandra anyway. A lot had happened in a day and a half. I wish sometimes I could just be normal again.

Chapter 24

I decided to check on Shandra first, I went to Dehmon's room, slowly turning the doorknob and peeking in. My heart sank at the sight of the woman huddled in the corner. Her knees were close to her chest, her chin rested on her kneecaps, her arms circling her legs. She looked absolutely terrified. As the door opened wider, her gaze flashed to me. Her eyes flared at me, they were a sky blue. Her hair was raven black, her skin a deep olive. When recognition set in she cringed deeper into herself and the corner. Her eyes widened when I stepped in. Her voice was quiet, trembling even. "Stay away from me." Now I had two choices, I could either demand her to comply or I could wait for her to come to me. I decided the latter. "Shandra, I know this is hard for you, but if you want or need anything I am here." I stepped back out of the room closing the door behind me gently. Dehmon was coming up the stairs as I exited. My gaze found his face, his expression was one of worry. "Don't worry Dehmon, I'm sure she will pull through. Just give her some more time." I touched his arm as I passed him at the top of the stairs. As I walked down the stairs to meet Fhear, halfway down I noticed he was sitting on the couch. I went to him, throwing my arms around his neck and planting myself in his lap. Fhear's smile warmed my heart to the core. I laughed, the sound foreign to my own ears. I then frowned soon afterwards, at least till Fhear nuzzled me causing me to smile once more. Fhear muttered into my throat. "I missed you." His voice strengthening as he added. "I was rather put out when you went missing." It felt good to know that someone missed me. That someone cared for me. I sighed and let myself melt into the warmth of his body. I felt safe with him. I enjoyed feeling safe, enjoyed the feeling more then anything. I rarely ever felt this way. I heard something clear their throat, looking to see who it was, it was Ahngar. He smiled faintly at me, as if saddened. When he spoke his expression carried over. "I will retire to my quarters for now. Down is coming soon." I cocked my head curiously. He was already tied to me, what else could he be missing? He was already chosen, set in my life forever. Why would he need to worry about me being with Fhear? I read the expression in Ahngar's eyes. He was in my mind, trying to grab information. When Ahngar realized I knew what he was feeling, he acted as if he wanted to supply an answer. "Do not get me wrong Sonata, I can deal with sharing, but I can't garuntee that there will not be any hint of jealousy." He gave Fhear a quick glance. "He cannot promise you that either." I looked to Fhear he nodded, his lips pursed. This is going to be harder then I thought. If they keep it up they are going to fight over me and tear each other into pieces. I groaned laying back against Fhear. "Is this true, blonde wolf?" He nodded again against my shoulder confirming. Uhg! Why do men have to be so very fickle. First they are okay with sharing, now they are not. I just don't get it. Fhear shifted beneath me, seeming agitated. Followed by a slow growl, not one of anger, fear or jealousy, but a growl of primal need. I looked at him, the look on his face screamed of sex. "You are not safe with me tonight Sonata, you are..." His voice was breathy, uncontrolled. He confused me, he was fine just a second ago. What was going on? Fhear suddenly pushed me carefully out of his lap. "You need to go to your room." I looked at Ahngar, confused, he sighed. "What is tomorrow night, Sonata?" The full moon was tomorrow night, but what did that have to do with anything? Then I remembered at the bar, the other night. Calvin had said I was going into heat. Ahngar must of picked up on my realization. "You get it. So, unless Requiemus is also our kin tomorrow night might be a good thing. You won't be safe with the pups or in this house." My gaze flickered back to Fhear, he nodded. "Ahngar is right. Full moon doesn't just mean our urge to turn is high, it also means our urge to claim a mate is high." I groaned. "What about Shandra?" I was worried about her safety. What if Dehmon tries to mate with her and it's too soon? It was Fhear , who supplied an answer. His voice more growl than words. "She will be fine. If she does go wolf, she won't go into heat for another six months. Her biological clock will have to catch up, as it is currently slower as a mare then wolf." I felt relieved knowing that she would be fine, but in six months...? I'll just corss that bridge when it gets here. "Sonata, you should go to your room or go with Ahngar to his." I could hear the venom laced in Fhear's words. I had never heard him like that before and was chocked. So, before a fight broke out I rushed upstairs to my room and locked the door. Of course any of them could have knocked the thing down, but it made me feel the tiniest bit safer. I shut my eyes tight and tried to rest.

Chapter 25

I awoke to the sounds of an angry animal hissing and spatting. I quickly looked at my door, where Smoke sat, perched for an attack. I listened to see if I could hear what was on the other side of the door. I could hear the sniffing sound of a larger animal. I felt infuriated. What perverts! I got up, throwing open the door and to my surprise... no-one was there. The incident frightened me. I know what I heard and Smoke heard it too. So, who was there that could suddenly vanish? At this point I freaked. I screamed, which was more of a howl, probably due to the full moon. Paiyne's head quickly popped up the stairs. "What in Odin's name are you squealing about?" I started babbling at first, broken sentences and making no sense what-so-ever. "Just slow down Sonata. Take a deep breath and tell me why you were yelping like a spoiled pup." Paiyne's eyes were sincere, surprisingly. "Well, I woke up because Smoke." I pointed down to the black furball coiled at my feet. "He was yowling and hissing. When I listened to see what had him so upset, I heard someone in wolf as a wolf sniffing under my door." I finally took a deep breath before finishing. "When I slammed open the door no one, nothing, was there." Paiyne looked thoughtful. "No one here, but you can vnish into thin air. All the guys were down stairs anyway. Not sure what's going on with that, but I will have Fhear look into it." I was curious as to how FHear would research it, I mean it's not like there is a database on our world. I wanted to ask, but just kept my trap shut. "Now we have much to accomplish today so I suggest we get started. Change into some of that workout gear we got you. Then come to the basement. No, buts about it." With that he waved a hand at me dismissingly and went back down stairs. Workout clothes? What the hell were they going to do to me today? The only thing I could think of was spar, teach me to fight and what not. Uhg! I changed and headed to the basement as told. I passed by the dungeon making a face at Raymos, who was perched on a cot. Priyde came around the corner looking as serious as ever. "Follow me, you've never been to this part of the basement before." With Priyde's hand encircling my wrist, I followed him through several hallways and to what looked like a High School Gym. Everyone was there with the exception of Ahngar and Dehmon. I Looked around quickly. "So what is it you guys do down here." I happened to glance at Nighhtmare, who grinned in his creepy way. "Just the usual, spar, torture, sexual fantasy, and a game of basketball here and there." Nighhtmare answered as his grin widened. Uhg! Pervs! I stuck my tongue out at him, then turned my attention to Paiyne. "So, I'm sure you've figured out that you're here to learn how to fight. Since it is not safe for us wolves to be too close to you. I suggest that your fighting partner be Pryide. You don't call to him as much." Paiyne motioned for us to take opposite sides of the basketball court. "Now I know your first instinct is to run, but should things go wrong tonight, Requiemus is fater then you. I hope you keep that in mind. So, your first task is to make Pryide immobile. I swallowed hard. Priyde was such a big guy, not to mention military trained. There was no way I could knock him unconscious. I groaned. "What you waiting for, wolf lady, come get me." Priyde was taunting me. Could this get anymore ridiculous? I cringed, but ran at Priyde full speed, before Paiyne yelled "Stop!" So I did midway there. "Remember he uses a giant sword and is faster then you. If you run at him like so, he'll just spear you with it." I hadn't thought of that, but if I teleported in the middle of a run, I could just reappear infront of him. However my landings are terrible. I guess practice makes perfect though... and I can do it without touching Ahngar's power. I huffed. "Guys, I think we are going about this the wrong way. My best ability is to teleport. So wy don't I practice doing that?" Paiyne looked thoughtful for a moment. "That's absolutely right. Surprises are the best kind of attack. Can you do it without drawing power from someone else though?" That's what I was wondering. "Well let me put it this way. The only times I've done it, was over a great distance, So, I figure if it's a much shorter distance, it won't take nearly as much energy. "Well give it a go. Try to teleport behind Priyde." No one was really being supportive, but at least Fhear wanted me to try. I focused my attention to the large frame of the man before me. His shaved head made me smile. He was much different then the other men. They were graceful, beautiful like greek gods, but not Priyde. Priyde was a being of pure power. A being that screamed obidence, selfcontrol and demand. He was totally handsome, but in a fierce overbearing way. I directed all my energy and thought at this solitary man. I felt the air and time around me slow down and then I was free falling through time and space. When things caught up with me I stood infront of Pryide. So, I was close to my goal, but what happened next surprised me. Faster then I could have ever reacted Priyde's fist impacted with my jaw. The shear force of this blow flung me across the gymnasim. The contact had dislocated my jaw and the fall to the hard wood floor put my shoulder out of socket. I was surprised when no one rushed to my side. I looked around and everyone was where they had been. I grabbed my injured shoulder and a moan escaped my dislocated jaw. Only to hear Priyde's gruff voice from behind me. "Get up. Move faster next time." I could hear a smirk to his voice. I rolled over onto my back. My shoulder was already healing as well as my jaw. The pain of healing was actually so much worse then getting the injury. I felt like crying, not only did I fail at avoiding the attack, but Priyde hit me. I couldn't believe that he'd hit me! It's nothing personal Sonata, but you have to be ready. You need to be able to defend yourself." Priyde's voice was even more grim. I felt my jaw crack as it moved back into place as I stood up. I glared at Priyde. A smirk once again was painting his lips. Yeah I understood that I needed to learn to fight, but did he have to be so serious? I mean really he hit a girl, and here I thought he was a gentleman. "Try again wolf." Priyde's voice was mocking. His stance casual and unthreatened. It pissed me off. I felt a rage fill me, an uncontrolled anger I'd never felt before. It confused me and yet excited me. I clenched my hands into fists as Priyde continued to taunt and mock me. I looked to Fhear, the look he gave me in return was one of pain. He did not like what was going on, but knew I had to learn. I tried again. This time fueled by anger. On my teleport. I appeared behind Priyde, slightly woozy from the extremely fast movement. I however managed to swoop down with a quick kick, sweeping his legs out form u nder him, as well as dodging a fist blow. I was proud with my movements, however the moment was short lived. Priyde grabbed my leg and flung me across the room. Lucky for me I could fly, instead of hitting the wall, I flew up, preventing a fatal crash into the cement walls. The pack stared on silentyly. Priyde however looked amused. "Just because you can fly does not mean you are safe, white wolf." I stared down at him and noticed he poised for a leap. Not cool, the air may save me in an outdoor setting, but never in a building. I groaned and teleported once more just as Priyde sprang for me. The timing was rough, but my goal was to appear behind him in mid air, kicking him in the back. Sadly that did not happen. As soon as I appeared, Priyde whirled around in mid-air wrapping his arms around me like a vice. The tightening grip around my rib cage was terrifying. As Priyde landed it jarred me even further. I couldn't take in any air from the deadly combination of crushing and jarring. I knew he'd never kill me, but he could push me to a point that was close. With my arms pinned at my sides and lack of oxygen sending me into a panic, I was unable to teleport. "Priyde that's enough!" I heard Paiyne command, faintly in my ears before everything went black.

Chapter 26

After I finally woke back up from Priyde's squeezing session, Paiyne suggested I watch him and the others fight and learn by watching. Priyde had went alittle too far and we couldn't have me broken before the night even begins. I watched, soaking in every move, listening to each muscle as they popped, twisted and moved. Fhear's movements were graceful, quick and precise. Paiyne's attacks were slower then Fhear's, but landed everytime with a force that would make a brick wall explode. Paiyne at first confused me, Fhear was so much faster, how was it Paiyne even landed a single blow? Then I realized Paiyne was reading FHear's micro-movements. The slightest lean, turn of his head, or dart of his eyes told Paiyne exactly what Fhear was going to do. I turned my attention to Priyde and NIghhtmare. Priyde had the same controlled military moves he'd used on me. He was patient, strong and most of all accurate. Nighhtmare on the other hand, had the strangest movements of all. He was neither fast nor graceful. His attacks sloppy, but effective. He reminded me of a serial killer enraged, slashing, biting and clawing with a hint of insanity. I soaked everything in, my mind like a sponge. I began to wonder if others had the same learning curve. I kenw deep down that no, I was the only one. I frowned. Why was I so different? Paiyne knew that I had this ability as well. He knows more then he lets on, just like his twin. Speaking of the devil, the fighting had stopped and Paiyne began to approach me. "Di you study that well?" I nodded. "Good, it's time. Wear something... provopcative." He grinned as if hee were imagining me changing. "Uhg! You're just as bad as Nighhtmare." I rolled my eyes at him giving him a disgusted look. He only shrugged at me and turned away. Nighhtmare had been staring at me and yes, I had noticed. He was staring at me in the way I use to look at Ahgony. A gaze of longing and knowing that you can't have what you seek. Yet you still wanted it, so bad. My heart sank, it ached. If I could not give him what he wanted, was there someone who could? I was not sure, but I would try. "Sonata, it's time." Paiyne's voice was very grim. I groaned at the sound, not to mention the words. "Go get ready." He softly breathed the words, his gaze heated. I felt highly uncomfortable with the weight of his stare. It was different, the the way Nighhtmare secretly looked at me. Paiyne's eyes held intent, intentions that were most unpure. I could have simply looked into his thoughts, however I really did not want to know. Paiyne took a step forward as if reaching to grab me, suddenly Priyde was between us, his hand pressed to my abs pressing me backwards. "That would not be wise wolf. Not now, so close to the full moon." Priyde's authoritive voice and presence seemed to throw Paiyne off guard. Priyde grabbed my wrist and pulled me into his arms, carrying me, in one swift motion. I gasped at his ispeed. The next thing I knew we were outside my room. "Go in, change, I will wait out here for you." I searched Priyde's face, his lips were a thin line, his eyes narrow, focused, clam, waiting. He was poised for a fight. I suppose he intended to beat the hell out of any wolf hwo would try to come in. Truth is, I don't know if it was the thurst that began to well up inside me or the hunger, but I pulled Priyde into the room with me. I locked the door behind us. Another thought crossed my mind, the heat between Paiyne and I earlier could have triggered the sudden urges. Either way, Priyde was staying in my room and I was going to have whatever I wanted from him. "Sonata..." Priyde's face was no longer a stone mask, but an expression I seemed to find on a lot of the men in this house. That heated, lust fulled expression. "You do still have some lion in you. Just because it's not as strong does not meant that I do not feel your pull. You call to me just as you do the others. Not to mention the succubus powers, I feel that too." He brushed a strand of hair from my face, his touch lingering behind my ear. "It will be different with me. I am dominant by nature." At this point I didn't care, the need for sex or blood, possibly both was too great. Ahngar would not be up for another fourty-five minutes, so Priyde was my only choice. The others would not have any control. I could hear the blood pumping in Priyde's veins, although the sound of my own heart was a roar to my senses. Priyde pushed me against the wall, his hard chest pressed to me. He leaned down, a slightly rougher tongue caressed my ear, the texture of his tongue excited me, I felt my womb clench in response. I groaned leaning into him, his mouth met my neck in a soft kiss, then I felt teeth. Nibbles at first and then light bites. He raked a hand down the front of me and I could have swore that I felt claws. I felt a cool breeze on my breasts as they were not exposed out of the sports bra I had been wearing. My nipples peaked at the cool air. He then made the same motion and shorts and panties were now in shreds at my feet. Priyde emitted a low growl as he picked me up once more and carried me to the bed. To my surprise he flipped me over onto my hands and knees, then needle-like teeth latched onto the back of my neck. A feline-like purr soon followed when I remained motionless. I heard the rustling of leather pants, then he was there, pressed against my buttox. No prepping, no fore-play, just straight forward. When I felt him enter me it was different, he was shaped different. Instead of feeling my body spread to welcome him, he entered easily, slinder infact is the way he manhood felt, but as he pressed inward he widened to such a girth that I cried out. Priyde's tip ran straight to my core, his base spreading me wide, both sensations incredible, but slightly painful. I gasped with each of his thrusts. I could feel his teeth scrapping as he rode me. My own canine's enlarged in iresponse, the sound of his heartbeat growing louder with each push of his hips. My mind spun with all the various sounds and pleasures, whirling with desire, thurst, and the age old hunger every vampiric creature has. The need for blood. I wiggled beneath him in anticipation, causing him to growl. My writhing stopped at the commanding growl and instead a quick inhale of air was needed. The cause, I felt Priyde's tip inflate like a balloon inside me, stretching me further, the sensation, so strange yet, amazing! I was pushed over the edge into a full blown, see the stars orgasm. At the same time Priyde quickly pulled out spilling his seed all over my back, with a loud roar. I collapsed on my belly with a content sigh, followed by a slight whimper. I had been sated one way now, I needed the other. Priyde had gotten a tissue and wiped my back clean of his sticky juices. "Ahngar is awake now." He turned away heading toward the door. I looked back at him while he buttoned his leather clads back up during his smooth strides. "I cannot risk contaminating you with more lion blood." With that he left. I groaned, my gums aching as my fangs wanted to puncture something. I huffed rolling onto my side frustrated, my fangs throbbing, gums tingling. Then I felt a rush of air next to me and immediately knew it was Ahngar.I looked to see his blue eyes aflame with aggravation. "He takes you, yet doesn't feed you? In my eyes that is not the proper way to treat a woman of worth. Full moon riding all of them or not." I could certainly tell that Ahngar was not pleased with our clan mate for leaving me thirsty. He continued, "Not to mention he left you filthy." He pulled his long river of black hair, away from his neck."First you drink, then we clean you up." How thoughtful my demon lover was, always ready to bleed for me. I felt satisfaction welling up in me. He was definitely my mate, nothing would ever change that. I gently touched his throat as my mind swam with thoughts of only him. The way he smelled, the feel of his skin under my fingertips. I revealed in him as I gently bit into the soft flesh of his throat. I drew him closer to me, turning into his body so that we lay facing each other. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders tightly. Enjoying the taste of his exotic blood. That spicy, tangy taste of hell that he carried in him. It was intoxicating, if I weren't careful I could certainly lose myself in him, in his life force. Ahngar let out a sigh of relief, I could feel him feeding off the sexual residue of Priyde and I's romp. He fed, but I could tell it wasn't as deeply as if he had been present during the act. I wondered how he would get the rest of what he needed. Perhaps it was enough when combined with blood. I did not know, but it was a question I would take note for at a later time. I flicked my tongue over the puncture wounds and leaned back, releasing Ahngar from my grasp. To my surprise as he was released he wrapped his arms around me and picked me up. He brought me to the private bathroom located in my room. He sat me on the side of the tub and turned the hot water on. "Do you plan on bathing me?" I questioned curious. Ahngar smiled, the action causing me to almost melt into a puddle to mingle with the water below. His smile could be so sinful, I wanted to touch those thin lips, to kiss them. However I did not. We sadly did not have the time. I tested the water, satisfied with the temperature, I slid into the huge porcelain basin. I sighed relieved with its warmth lapping at my skin. My incubus suddenly reached out his thumb caressing my bottom lip. I shuddered, the shiver sending flames although my body. His hand slid from my now quivering lips to my shoulder, down my back to grab a sponge. I wondered if he knew what he did to me, if he touched me in such a way that made me feel so high. That's what it felt like with Ahngar, if felt like a high, that I never wanted to come down from. I was completely relaxed as I felt him rub the sponge over my skin. I relished the feeling of his hands massaging my shoulders and back as he washed and relaxed my body. He washed every inch of me, in a slow, but firm scrub. Probably making sure to washed Priyde's scent from my skin. "That's exactly what I'm doing," he murmured, following his words with a grin. "However not for my benefit, for yours. I do not want Requiemus to smell anything or anyone on you. We cannot take that chance." He washed my hair, massaging my scalp, gently scratching with his nails. I purred at the sensation. Not because of the feline in me. It simply felt amazing. I had never had someone wash me before and it simply was fantastic! He rinsed my hair, ringing out the excess water so that it did not drip. He did it as if he was use to doing so. This too was curious. I knew nothing of Ahngar's past. Simply he was an incubus and that was it. He just seemed so easy going. Not like Paiyne or Nighhtmare, he just was so easy to get along with. "Ahngar, what was your life like before all this?" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me. Ahngar's eyebrows raised at me. As if he was surprised that I had asked such a question. "That is a long story, Sonata. Though I can sense that you heard Nighhtmare's past and are curious about my own." He sighed, shaking his head as he pulled me from the tub and quickly wrapped a towel around me. He pulled me back into the bedroom and nudged me toward the bed. "Perhaps I will tell you about it on our next night together, should you want me to. It can be pretty overwhelming." I leaned my head to the side confused. What could be worse then what Nighhtmare went through. Nighhtmare's past was horrific, painful and damaging in every way. How could Ahngar's be any worse then that? Ahngar scoffed. "Don't look so sad Sonata. Is your past beautiful? Did you not meet betrayal? Did you not yearn for revenge? Did you give up? At some point everyone does my Succubus mate. There are dark occurrences in every persons past. Supernatural or otherwise." I was now looking down, saddened further by his words. It was true. There was so much darkness in this world and it seemed to become more so was the years went by. Ahngar reached down, putting his hand on my chin and tilting my face back up to look at him. "You will know everything that was and is my life. You will know me, and I you." I had a feeling that Ahngar released me so that I could decipher his words. I tilted my head to the side my eyes never leaving his. He was always so beautiful, even when his gorgeous face was contorted into something of pain and hidden secrets. It was amazing that anything horrible could happen to such a powerful, seductive man. Ahngar sighed. "Alright time to get dressed. Wear something, nice." Ahngar helped me from the bed. He used the towel around me to dry me from head to toe, making sure to get my hair dry. "You are so beautiful." His voice made my heart leap,so did his words. He made me blush as I moved away from him. Heading to a biker bar, means I had to look like I belonged there, not to stand out like a sore thumb. The dresser with white lions on it, contained a huge amount of hot topic clothing, it was the obvious choice. Lots of leather would be found in its drawers. It wasn't hard to find a pair of leather clad pants, a tank top with a shining skull. I also grabbed out some lacy under garments. I topped the outfit off with some calf-high leather boots. I looked into the mirror, smiling I was looking rather sexy. I felt it too. My heart raced,I felt. So free, so relieved. I had beautiful men crawling all over me, something I had never had before and welcomed it. Ahngar cleared his throat behind me.i turned to face him. He inhaled sharply, before whispering, "You look like a mean vixen, that I would so enjoy playing with." The smile that formed on his lips was so sinful, so enticing. I felt my body twitch with excitement. Ahngar sighed, "Unfortunately, we must be going my dear, Requiemus awaits." I nodded reluctantly, but allowed my incubus mate to take my hand and lead me down stairs. Paiyne met us at the bottom, holding a small box. "Not that these were meant for you, but here." His gesture was a bittersweet gift with such wording. However I accepted the small box anyway. I took the trinket box from him, opening it slowly. Inside the box lay two curved spikes, they closely resembled some kind of teeth. Attached to the dangerous ear wear, sterling silver that sparkled brilliantly in the light. My eyes widened. "Paiyne, these are beautiful!" I lightly touched the teeth like earrings, curious as to what they were made of. Paiyne rolled his eyes. "They are real, real dragon fangs to be precise." A satisfied grin formed on his lips, the cause the shock on my face, apparently. "Surely you jest?" I quickly looked at him, waiting for the truth. Ahngar's hand came to rest on my shoulder. "No Sonata, it is true. Back when Paiyne was young and a Viking, Dragons did roam far and wide." Wow, could it be? Did dragons really exist? It was these two questions that ran quickly through my mind. I was surprised by the fact. What else did they know about dragons? I put the earrings in, a million questions popping up after the first two. Paiyne touched the fang attached to my right ear tenderly, his touch finding its way to my throat. Instantly, a flash of heat struck between us. My eyes fluttered to his, which burned into mine with a lustful gaze. Ahngar pushed himself between us. "This isn't the time, not tonight." His words came out in a reptile like growl. Paiyne released a snarl in response. My heart leapt with excitement, I let out a low whine causing the two of them to look back at me, then back to one another. They then both shook their heads as if clearing them. "We need to be going." Ahngar pulled me passed Paiyne, I let him, even though my heat was making my thoughts clouded around the black wolf. I jumped as Priyde fell in behind us. One by one the men in my life fell behind us. I stopped halting everyone up. "Dehmon you should stay with Shandra. I don't want her alone on her first shift." Dehmon seemed hesitant, but returned to his room. Ahngar and I climbed into Priyde's hummer. Paiyne and Fhear were in the crossfire and to my surprise, Nighhtmare was pulling out in a Harley from the garage. Ahngar chuckled. "You can't be that surprised. I mean look at the guy." Well that was definitely true. Nighhtmare was the scary biker type for sure. "So... What now?" I felt my body tensing with anxiety, I was so very nervous. "Now, we head a decent drive to the bar,but we won't be dropping you off there. You will have to walk from a few blocks down. We will be near by in the parking lot closest to the college. If all goes wrong we rush to your rescue.." Priyde answered me, being the military planner, that he is. I took a deep, calming breath and ran the fighting scenarios through my mind as we made our long journey to our unfortunate destination.
