"So... what are we supposed to do now?" Darren asked somewhat puzzled.

"How about food? movie? drink?" Aiden suggested.

Concentrating on the road, Aiden drove to the next mall, to get the things he would need for tonight.

Having a good conversation, the two of them arrived just fifteen minuets later at Aiden's desired destination.

Leaving the car behind they entered the mall, and Aiden made his way to the food department, followed close by Darren.

"So... what do you need?" Darren asked pushing the cart, following Aiden's twisting tail.

"Now look who's hungry! Seems like you will eat what I'm cooking tonight!" Aiden said viciously laughing.

Darren followed without further questioning, and unloaded the cart at the checkout counter. As Aiden finally wanted to pay Darren

stopped him and insisted on paying for it. After a slight debate Aiden had to give in, since he knew reasoning with Darren was

impossible. Making their way outside, Darren was carrying the newly bought goods, and they quickly reached the car. Unloading the

stuff in the trunk, Aiden started the engine and waited for Darren to finish.

"So where is that butcher of yours?" Darren said taking seat at the passenger side.

"Not too far form here, Id say ten minutes..." Aiden said and slowly drove off.

"What kind of meat can I look forward to?"

Both of them remembered it clearly. It was when Darren and Aiden where at the Uni and they shared the same apartment.

Aiden prepared dinner at the first day which resulted in a horrible food intoxication, and the two of them had to go to the

hospital for a whole week, unable to eat anything. Since then Darren was always eating out, when Aiden had his kitchen turns.

"You even ate the breakfast I cooked, and your still alive!"

"Well maybe my stomach is resistant to your cooking, I should give Thomas a call, and see if hes all right..." Darren said laughing.

"So funny... wait and see you WILL like it!"

"Okay then I'm definitely looking forward to my next week, being hospitalized." Darren said heartily laughing.

Even Aiden was laughing by now and was looking forward to the evening more then ever, since Darren was in such a good mood. Continuing their ride,

they made it to Aiden's rumored butcher and he quickly got out of the car, bought the desired meat and returned to Darren's side.

Turing on the engine they drove off to Aiden's place.

"As you may have noticed, I live a bit out of town..." Aiden said noticing Darren watching the scenery.

"I love it! It's so peaceful out here."

"We are nearly there so prepare to get off." Aiden said and pulled into a small road, leading along a forest on the left side.

Stopping in the driveway, Darren had to admire the house. It wasn't too big neither small it was the perfect size. There was a

big lake next to it, and the forest was covering the backyard of the house. The older looking building had a lot of charm,

and Darren felt comfortable with it at first sight.

"It's not much but it's all I have." Aiden said getting out of the car.

"Your kidding? This place is wonderful!" Darren said admiring the view.

"Well it's at least quiet, and having no neighbors is also a great thing..." Aiden said laughing.

"Do you live here all by yourself ?" Darren asked wondering.

"Indeed. Now lets get in, kinda cold out here." He said and got an affirming nod from Darren, who followed him inside.

"Get comfy and start with a movie, I'll be there shortly!" He heard Aiden shout out the kitchen, and did as he was told.

and pressed play. Soon the room was filled with the all to familiar music as the movie started. Sitting down on the couch

he moved the plates for him and Aiden into position, on the table in front of him.

Watching the movie relaxed from the couch, he heard Aiden laugh in the kitchen. (so predictable) Aiden thought to himself.

Entering with a large tablet in his paws, Aiden made his way to Darren and placed it on the table. Darren was slightly drooling

at the food, served in front of him.

"This looks really good!" he said and smiled at Aiden, but didn't get any reply.

"Sit down will you ? Don't stand in front the TV!" Darren said but still didn't get any reply from Aiden.

Standing up he reached for Aiden's shoulder and wanted to check on him, since he just stared at him, for quite a while.

Realizing it was his favorite Italian wine Darren read the label. 'Meleto Rosso' no doubt he turned the bottle to see the date.

Returning with another plate in his paws, Aiden sat down next to his friend. The plate was filled with carpaccio.

"What is this ? Am I dead and in heaven ? Or are you the devil, and this is my last meal?" Darren shook his head again.
