Growing Expectations

So it's been a while since I submitted a new story...

Anyway, this monster of story is a collaboration between PowersNDark and I. At nearly 20 pages and 10,797 words, this is by far the longest story I've ever posted... and it's still not done. We've been at it on and off for months and decided to split it up into two parts. The second part will be finished SoonTM and will most likely hardly be half as long as this one, if at all, but it should be a lot juicier and way more interesting -- if ya know what i mean. ;3

This story is a sequel to the story (Perspective Change) that PowersNDark wrote for me way back in February. It was the first story, or real art for that matter, of Kazan and it really means a lot to me that he was kind enough to bring my little (sorta) wolfy to life. Part of the goal of this collab was to link that story with the rest of the stories I've written. Since it was written before I even considered writing, there was no way for it to fit in with the others chronologically so we had to fudge when it takes place. Just pretend Perspective Change is a few years earlier than it actually is. This story takes place around the end of the school year for the pudgy pups (I'll have to make an actual timeline somewhere so it's more clear since I'm writing things out of order). Also, I realize I made Kazan and Deklan waaaay too fat in Fitness Testing so we scaled them down... You can still pretend they're fatter if you want. :P

Thanks for reading and feedback is always greatly appreciated!

Edit: This story has been slightly modified for retroactive continuity.

Grumbling in his sleep, Aiden tossed and turned in the morning heat, bed sheets tangling around his soft thighs and thick tail before the sun finally won out and woke him. Rubbing over his snout and eyes as he slowly sat up, Aiden couldn't help but lift his lips in a familiar grin, his flesh-heavy stomach rolling forward and settling in his lap. Looking at the short, doughy pre-teen, one couldn't help but wonder how a child could become so massive, though a quick look around his day-to-day life would make it blatantly clear. Being an only child whose parents were away from home, busy with their demanding careers, Aiden was repeatedly left to fend off boredom himself, the alone time permitting him ample opportunities to pursue one of his favorite vices.

Just a few short years ago, Aiden had developed a taste for personal growth, realizing that, from the looks of his parents, he would never grow to be as tall as most species. Instead, finding a love for the culinary arts, Aiden devoted himself to growing out, rather than up, spending months indulging in exotic and local cuisine, sampling from nearby eateries and doing what he could to learn the art himself. Thanks to some encouraging ideas from his friends in school, Aiden even set up an online blog to document his "progress." Opting to leave his age, which was obscured by the fact his species looked the same even in adulthood, to the viewers' imaginations, Aiden soon developed an online following of dozens of people around the world, receiving more backing and inspiration than he had ever dreamed possible.

As an additional moral boost, Aiden had met a fantastic friend and fan of his blog during his brief move to the States. It was an unexpected, but welcomed, surprise that a wolf his own age would also be interested in weight gain and enjoy a heavier lifestyle. His stay in the States lasted only six short months, but he spent every day he could with his new friend, helping him pack on a few pounds while at the same time powering through a plateau that had plagued him at the time. Although they parted on good terms and even managed to keep in contact after Aiden moved back to Australia, they eventually drifted apart and Aiden nearly forgot about the two-toned wolf.

Stumbling into the kitchen and pressing a paw against his chubby muzzle to stifle a yawn, Aiden glanced at the large whiteboard where his parents would leave him daily notes of when he could expect them home and if there were any chores to do. Seeing nothing important, he began rummaging in the fridge to make an early breakfast, digging out half a dozen eggs, a package of pre-shredded hash browns, and a large squeeze bottle of pancake batter he'd made beforehand. Setting to work on the stove, utilizing two frying pans at once, Aiden drizzled a generous helping of olive oil into one and began frying the hash browns before squirting enough batter to make an eight-inch pancake into the other. With one pancake done, Aiden placed it on his plate before pouring out another, whipping up the eggs into a fluffy mix, and drizzling it directly over the crisp hash browns. He stirred everything together together to scramble the eggs and allowed both pans to finish cooking as he lavishly drizzled gobs of maple syrup on the first pancake. Moving the scrambled egg and hash brown blend directly over it, he poured on another large helping of syrup before finishing it all off by carefully balancing the second pancake on top and drowning his breakfast in even more syrup.

Sniffing over his plate hungrily, Aiden waddled his way into the living room, setting his breakfast on a fold away tray before crawling onto the large couch. Positioning himself directly in the middle of a cushion, Aiden took a brief second to look on either side of him, fat cheeks lifting in a grin. His expansive rear and meaty thighs nearly brimmed over the cushion's edges while he sat cross-legged, filling him with an immense amount of pride. Leaning forward to drag the tray closer to him, Aiden set to work clearing the heavy meal away, his fingers and muzzle soon becoming a sticky mess. Giving a warm pat to his behemoth potbelly, Aiden rocked himself forward to heave himself from the couch, rinsing off his plate before going to wash up in the shower. Once patted dry, he looked at the small scale in the corner of the bathroom, debating if he should measure his progress.

It had been nearly two months since he last weighed himself and a week had passed since he updated his blog. Deciding a post about his current weight would satisfy his watchers for the time being, Aiden carefully nudged the scale closer to the full-length mirror and stepped on. No longer able to see past his stomach, Aiden glanced at the mirror sideways, watching the digital numbers work before settling on an impressive 86. Despite his hefty size and round frame, all sense of pride left Aiden as he saw the numbers.

In two months he'd only gained a measly kilo. "Not again..." he groaned. This was the fourth time in three years that he had hit a growth plateau, but this was the worst yet. "What am I doing wrong?!" Every day he consumed at least four large meals, rounding out around 3000 calories each day, filled with proteins, carbohydrates, and an abundance of sugars and fats to keep his energy high. Aiden even exercised every week to build up the muscles needed to move his unwieldy body and to trick it into craving more nutrients. Yet here he was, finding it harder and harder to grow as fast he used to.

Scowling at the scale, Aiden tromped to his room, dull and heavy thuds following every footstep. Grunting as he struggled to shift his bulk back onto the bed, Aiden lifted his tablet from its charger and opened his blog to write a short message.

Hey all, I know it's been a while since I've given an update on my progress and I'm sad to say I've only gained a kilo :< Up to 86 right now but i'm hoping to reach 100 by the end of the year at this rate. Anybody got some new recipes? Leave me a note!

Posting the small update, Aiden spent the rest of his Saturday morning going through new messages, bookmarking a few sites his followers shared and replying to the more encouraging responses. Lunch time soon came, a cavernous rumble from his middle working better than any clock, and Aiden hurried to the kitchen to scrounge up another meal. He was surprised to instead find his dad home from work, carrying in a few bags of takeout. "Dad? I never see you during lunch, what's up?"

The older tree kangaroo set the bags down on the kitchen counter, grinning widely as he gave his son a fierce hug. "I wanted to come home early and give you the good news! I was promoted this morning and I'm going to be in charge of one of the firms I helped establish," he said, referring to one of the numerous IT firms his company had set up all around the world. "I know how much you like seeing new places, Aiden, so I wanted to know if you'd like to go back to any of the countries we've lived in so far? Anywhere you want to go, I'll make it happen."

Stubby ears shooting up in excitement, Aiden thought back to all the different places he had lived in, all the friends he had made, and all the exotic and delicious foods he had tried. Only one place truly stuck out, though, and he knew that was where he wanted to go. "Dad? You remember when we lived in the States a few years ago...?"

Kazan stormed out of the pantry and ran back up to his room, a large bag of chips crinkling in his paws. Without much effort, he made an impish effort to hide the after-lunch snack from his friends and rushed to sit his cushy rear at his desk before booting up his computer.

"Hey! Where's our chips?!" Deklan barked, mock-pouting as he cut his chat with Koar short.

Tail swishing innocently, the blue and green wolf turned his back to the others and hunched over the bag, trying to open it discreetly. Cramming a pawful into his chubby cheeks, he turned around with a toothy grin and giggled through a mouthful of chips. "I have no idea what you're talking about!" he said between chip-spattering chews, swallowing and gently holding the bag against his plush middle.

"Why, you greedy mutt!" the culpeo jokingly growled, hopping off the bed with Koar to get at the bag.

After nearly falling out of his chair from the play-wrestling, Kazan finally gave up fending off the two-on-one attack and shared the salty snack - although, it didn't last long between the three of them. Tilting the bag up to devour the last of the crumbs before tossing it in the trash, the wolf licked his lips clean and turned his attention back to the computer. "So what do you guys wanna do today?" he asked, launching the browser and idly sifting through his favorite websites while Deklan and Koar looked over his shoulder.

The jackal watched Kazan click on a few links before sitting on his friend's bed. "I brought some video games, so maybe I could kick your fat butts in some multiplayer?" Koar giggled, hefting up his backpack. "I snuck some extra snacks from home too, if we get hungry again," he added, smirking as he rummaged through the large assortment of caloric foodstuffs crammed inside.

"Oooh..." Deklan salivated, lustfully eyeing the bag of treats. Just as the culpeo reached for a peanut butter bar, though, Kazan gasped and slammed his paws on the desk. "Huh? What's wrong?" he demanded, whipping his head around as he was torn from his stupor.

"No way... No way! No way, no way, no way!" Kazan yapped, his tail swinging at a blinding speed.

"What? What is it?" Deklan asked again. With their interest rising by the second, Koar and he hurried over to see what the wolf was so thrilled about. To their disappointment, all they found was an ordinary email on the computer screen. Kazan stared at it for a while longer, reading it again to make sure he didn't misunderstand a word of it. Feeling ignored, Deklan's ears fell. "What's the big deal? It's just an email!" he huffed.

The ecstatic wolf spun around in his chair. "Yeah, but you guys won't believe_who it's from! A few years ago, before we adopted you and _way before we started gaining together," he gave his brother's gelatinous paunch a light jab, "I used to follow this guy's blog like every day! He would post all sorts of pictures and videos and stuff of himself as he got fatter and fatter - he was like a professional gainer or something!" He paused to catch his breath.

"Wait, wait, wait... What?! How come you never told us about this?!" the culpeo cried, slightly annoyed that this was kept from him but engrossed by the idea nonetheless.

"Yeah! What gives?" Koar joined in the interrogation.

Kazan's ears folded down as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, "Just... hold on - I'm getting there! So, one day he said he was moving here to America and a few days later, there was this exchange student who came to my class from Australia! And, and - it was the same guy from the blog!" The wolf's ears shot straight back up and his tail wagged even faster than before, beating heavily on the side of his desk. "I had no idea he was our age and that he was moving to this town and transferring to our school!" he exclaimed, giddy with excitement. "And then, and then my teacher asked me to show him around and be his friend and stuff! Can you believe that?! Oh! Oh! And when I finally saw him, I knew he was gonna be big from his blog, but," Kazan spread his arms as far apart as he could, "he was huge! It was incredible!"

The other two pups stood there, staring at the panting wolf with their mouths agape and their tails flicking with anticipation. "Well?" Koar probed, enraptured by his friend's tale, "Then what?"

Taking a deep breath, Kazan continued his story, "So then, we became best_friends! Erm..." he glanced at his brother, who glared back, with a nervous laugh, "Not as best as you, of course, Deklan... But, uh - anyway! He's really cool and his parents are _super rich or something. Plus, they're never home so we spent every day after school at his house and he showed me all kinds of different tips and tricks to eat more and gain weight and stuff! He even helped me bulk up a bit myself!" The wolf gave his large, doughy belly a proud pat to emphasize his point.

Deklan narrowed his eyes, growing more and more jealous since he had always been the biggest among the three of them, and interrupted the wolf, "If you had such a 'cool,'" he made a pair of finger quotes, "gainer friend, then how come you were such a lightweight when I got here, huh?"

"Well..." Kazan frowned and pinned his ears back, shrinking into his chair and looking down as he twiddled his paws, "I got bigger after a few months, but... then he had to move again and we sorta stopped talking after a while and... I guess I just stopped gaining and lost the extra weight..."

"Uh huh..." Deklan folded his arms, nodding doubtfully before the wolf perked right back up.

"But now he's coming back!" Kazan howled with glee, "He can show us all how to get bigger and heavier, just like him!"

Koar grinned at the prospect. Even Deklan set aside his envy and began twitching his tail curiously.

"Oh! I wonder if his blog his still up!" the wolf swung his chair back to the computer and swiftly navigated to the familiar webpage, skimming the last post from the previous day.

"Eighty-six? He's stuck at eighty-six pounds?" the culpeo scoffed, unimpressed by the small figure, "Really, Kaz? Is that it? Even Koar is bigger than that! I thought you said he was huge!"

"Eighty-six kilograms! That's more than _double_in pounds, Dek!" Kazan pointed out, recalling their lessons on the metric system.

Deklan paused to do some mental math and, instantly, his expression sunk. "Over a hundred and sixty pounds?!" he blurted out, "Are you serious?!"

"It's way more than that!" Koar corrected him, "That's almost one ninety!"

They were stunned speechless when Kazan scrolled down to the most recent visual update from a week ago. There was no doubt in either the culpeo's or jackal's mind that the wolf was telling the truth about his friend. The tree kangaroo was absolutely enormous and dwarfed even Deklan! Reclined back in a chair, Aiden grinned at the camera while resting a four-inch deep cheesecake on his gargantuan belly. With over three-quarters of the tin devoured, his lips were stained and his cheeks were crammed full of the rich dessert. Those chubby cheeks, accentuated by the kangaroo's cheery smile, drooped somewhat and merged perfectly with his prominent second chin. His chunky arms were layered with fat and strained to heft the monstrous gut spilling into his meaty paws and well beyond his oversized waistline. Atop his pride and joy rested his puffy chest, his soft pectorals just starting to graze his spherical stomach. If he were standing, all of this would've been supported by his stumpy legs, thighs so bloated that they rubbed against each other in a fight for space, even when sitting, forcing him into a wider-than-usual stance.

With their jaws hanging slack, the aspiring gainers spent the rest of the afternoon going through the mammoth marsupial's blog. Starting from the very beginning, nearly three years prior, they gawked at the countless before-and-after photos coupled with his ever-rising weight as they watched him expand before their eyes. Mesmerized by the occasional video of him packing away increasingly large amounts of food like nobody's business, they gaped at the short clips of belly play featured at the end of each one, his blunt claws expertly manipulating and jiggling the massive globe of flesh and fur in the most bizarrely hypnotic manner. A quarter way through, Kazan's breath caught as he recognized the posts he'd personally helped make. What began as a reasonably slim kangaroo steadily swelled out into the corpulent butterball he was today.

The pudgy pups, downright scrawny in comparison, were finally back where they began, staring at the latest photo and just as dumbfounded as they were hours ago. Their tummies grumbled loudly, neglected through their trance, but surprisingly, they didn't seem to take notice. Ignoring their growling middles, they went back to the email and joined the wolf in writing a reply. Kazan took the time to catch up with his old friend, telling him all about what's happened in his life since they parted ways. Meanwhile, the others complemented the kangaroo profusely for his astounding efforts and eagerly listed, at length, their own exploits in weight gain. Koar even suggested they attach a picture of them to the email. Luckily, they already had one on file of them stuffing their faces from the jackal's birthday; his uncle was thoughtful enough to take it while they weren't looking to commemorate the occasion. With a brief read over, they anxiously sent the message and hoped for a quick response, but their stomachs' incessant growling finally got the better of them. Reinvigorated and inspired by their new idol's example, they tore into Koar's abundant stash of fatty snacks, hungrily devouring each and every cookie, potato chip, and pastry but still wanting more.

Having become experts at continental moving, Aiden and his mother took care of shipping the belongings and packing the rest into four suitcases. Unfortunately, his mother had to stay behind for her job while his father worked tirelessly all week to secure his own, arrange for their new home, and get their visas. Despite the frantic hustle, Aiden enjoyed the idea of moving again; he couldn't wait to see his old friend again.

Stepping out of the rental car, the two kangaroos looked at their new home while their real estate agent waited on the porch to show them around. "It's not the same as the last one," Aiden commented, accustomed to a slightly more lavish home setting.

Laughing, the older kangaroo nodded. "Our last house here was a rental. I knew we were only going to stay a few months so it was bigger. But this is going to be a permanent home, so I wanted to get us something cozier." Climbing the steps onto the porch, he shook the realtor fox's paw and followed her inside to see the house. Aiden trailed closely behind, leaving his suitcases by the front door as they were shown around.

Mind wandering as they passed the living room, dining room, and office, Aiden wondered when he could see Kazan again. He hadn't had a chance to send more than one reply, not expecting to have so much to catch up on. He was surprised that Kazan's best friends were also gainers, so hopefully school wouldn't be too bad when he started in the fall. Coming to the kitchen, Aiden finally gave the realtor fox his attention, eagerly looking around the spacious room decked with high-end appliances. The trip upstairs to the bedrooms was a laborious task, though not so much that he lost his composure. Three furnished bedrooms lined the second floor, each as spacious as the others and perfect for a growing boy.

Aiden's father approved the house and was handed the keys, promising to go downtown to finalize the paperwork the next day. Moving their luggage upstairs, the two spent the afternoon unpacking and organizing what little they brought with them, making a list of things they would need that weren't coming with the rest of their belongings. Aiden sat on the floor of his room, exhausted and sweaty as he checked his phone for the time, eager to see Kazan but unsure when he would be out of school.

As if reading his son's mind, Aiden's father popped his head into the room, smiling, and asked, "Did you wanna go see your mate later? I know you're anxious to catch up with him."

Chunky tail dragging across the carpet with excitement, Aiden nodded before slowly lifting himself off the floor. "Do you think Kazan and his buds could come over for pizza? He said his family adopted a kid last year and I wanted to meet him and a mate of theirs. Please?"

Thinking it over for a second, his father agreed. "Email this wolf again and get their telephone numbers so I can talk to their parents. If they say yes, I'll order you boys some pizza to catch up over."

Quickly digging out his tablet, Aiden shot his friend another email to let him know that he was in town and invite him over after school let out. With the device's power just about depleted, he plugged it in and eagerly waited for a response.

"Ugh! I thought today would never end!" Deklan groaned as he, Kazan, and Koar marched out of class.

"Not to mention double PE this entire week!" his brother added. "I thought I was going to die!"

"I can't believe we have double PE!" the culpeo whined, "We were supposed to be done after the fitness test!"

Overhearing the three pups complaining, one of their classmates hurried over and shoved them. "We have double PE because of you fat tubs of lard! I heard the fitness exam we took was for the state and the score for our entire school dropped because you guys sucked so much at it! Now we're all suffering 'cause you guys don't know how to put the fork down!" The coyote's friends snickered behind them, one of them roughly pushing Deklan, the heaviest of them, from behind.

"Leave us alone, Trevor!" Koar snapped, helping Deklan keep his balance, "It doesn't matter why we have double PE because we're all doing it. Stop being such a jerk!"

Scowling as he crossed his arms, Trevor stepped forward and growled at the short jackal, "You gonna make me, butter-boy? Huh?!"

Realizing the coyote in front of him had three inches over him, Koar gripped the straps of his backpack as he tried to seize the situation. "I'm not stupid enough to get in a fight with you, Trevor, but I am telling you to back off. I'm not afraid to get teachers involved and I'll see you expelled and grounded if you lay a finger on us again!" Narrowing his eyes in a glare, Koar summoned all his nerves to hold his ground, starring Trevor down.

Growl building up in Trevor's throat, it was only when one of his buddies nudged his shoulder that he broke eye contact. "Dude, Mr. Santos is still in the classroom. He'll hear these pigs squealing for help if we wail on 'em." Snorting in reluctant agreement, Trevor shook his head at the overfed pups. "You fatsos got off easy this time." Turning around and heading for their lockers, his friends and he hurried off.

"Koar, that was amazing!" Kazan whispered, beaming with admiration as he squeezed his friends arm. "You didn't have to stand up to him like that!"

Muscles shaking, Koar wasn't aware how tense he had become in the last four minutes, butterflies still floating in his stomach. "I just... I don't like griefers like that harassing us. It's bad enough in video games and I'm not going to see it happen to my friends."

Nudging Koar's other arm, Deklan gave his own praise, "I wouldn't have been able to stay so calm. You were seriously scary, Koar!"

Grinning sheepishly, Koar blushed and hefted up his backpack shaking his head. "C-Come on, let's get over to my house and see if Kaz's buddy has replied."

The door to the jackal's home swung open and in trudged the exhausted, severely out of shape pups. Walking home from school every day was a difficult task in itself, but on top of double PE, today's quarter mile trek home seemed as if it would never end. Kazan and Deklan dragged themselves into Koar's living room and flopped onto a couch, sweating and panting as if they'd just run a marathon. The culpeo grabbed a pillow beside him and buried his face in the cool fabric, groaning and grumbling incoherently about how sore his paws were.

"Oh, come on, guys!" Koar stood over them, impatiently prodding Kazan's protruding middle, "We still have to check your email, Kaz!"

"Ugh... But I'm tired!" the wolf moaned, "And hungry!"

"Yeah! And my legs are killing me!" Deklan griped, his voice muffled through the pillow.

"We walk home from school every day!" the jackal remarked, not nearly as fazed as his friends were, and padded off to the kitchen before briefly returning with a box of donuts cradled in his arms. "Here, you guys can carbo-load while we check your email! I really wanna see this Aiden guy!" He tossed the afterschool snack on top of the wolf's belly and tugged at his chunky arm in a feeble attempt to lift his hefty body.

Removing the box from his gut, Kazan lazily heaved himself forward before grabbing two chocolate glazed donuts and shoving them both into his muzzle, smearing the frosting around his mouth. His brother promptly crawled over to pilfer a couple as well.

"There, happy?" Koar asked, taking one for himself. They nodded and happily munched away at the donuts as they followed the jackal upstairs, lagging behind while they continued devouring the box's contents. By the time they made it to Koar's room, he was already sitting by his desktop, waiting for Kazan to log into his email.

Licking his paws clean of any remaining icing and wiping them dry on his straining shorts, Kazan shooed the jackal out of his chair and took over the computer to enter his account information. As soon as the page finished loading, his ears perked straight up and his tail wagged at the sight of an unread email. Clicking on it, he read over the message and announced the news, "Guys! He's finally here and he wants us to come over! He just needs our parents' phone numbers so his dad can come pick us up!"

Deklan and Koar rushed to either side of the wolf, yapping away with eager anticipation as they crowded around the computer screen. Quickly typing up a short response, the cubs sent Koar's address and their parents' contact information at the end of the email, keeping a watchful eye on Kazan's inbox as they polished off the remaining donuts.

Aiden lay on his bed, tapping away at a new entry for his blog, informing his followers about his sudden and exciting move back to the US, when a new notification popped up in the corner of his tablet. Swiping down and opening his email, he gleefully thumped his thick tail against the mattress and sluggishly hopped off with a loud thud.

"Dad! Dad!" Aiden hollered while bounding to his father's office, his heavyset frame violently sloshing along every thunderous step of the way. His father was seated at a temporary desk, working from his laptop. "Dad, they replied!" Aiden exclaimed, panting a little as he set the tablet down in front of him, "Here are their mum and dad's numbers! Can you call them? Please?"

Looking up from his screen, he smiled at his giddy son and glanced at the device. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he skimmed the email, its words filled with childish enthusiasm. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. "Sounds like they're just as excited as you are, huh?" he teased, dialing the first number.

An embarrassed blush crept across Aiden's puffy cheeks as his heavy tail swung back and forth across the floor, anticipation rising as the first call was made. He anxiously waited, bouncing on his toes while he listened to his father calmly explain and negotiate the situation with his old friend's mother, politely introducing himself and mentioning her son's close but suspended friendship with his own. With Aiden's father being a complete stranger to her and Aiden's name barely ringing a bell, it was understandable that she was a bit wary of letting her pups stay at the marsupials' home. However, after reassuring their safety and providing location and contact information, the older kangaroo eventually convinced her to come around and give Kazan and Deklan her permission to visit.

"That's one down and one to go," he chimed, entering the second number into his phone.

Aiden's ears flicked up and a wide grin stretched across his chubby face. His tail started swinging faster, but he did his best to contain his exhilaration as the line connected once more. Unfortunately, Koar's father proved to be significantly harder to convince. The protective jackal feared for his son's well-being and would often go out of his way to ensure the boy's safety and happiness. However, it was extremely frustrating for Koar because it made making new friends unnecessarily difficult for him. It wasn't until the kangaroo mentioned Kazan and Deklan that he managed to break through the jackal's defense. Realizing Aiden was a mutual friend of Koar's closest friends, the overbearing parent finally relented and allowed his son to visit. Thanking the jackal and pocketing his phone, Aiden's father closed his laptop and got to his feet.

"Well?" Aiden leaned his weight onto the desk, feeling it groan under his weight. "What'd he say?" he asked restlessly.

The older kangaroo walked around the desk and ruffled the boy's hair. "Ready to go?"

Aiden jumped and squeezed him with joy, his generous paunch squishing around the significantly leaner marsupial. Eager to finally see his long-lost friend, in addition to making two new ones, he raced downstairs and waited in the rental car. He couldn't wait to catch up with the wolf and share in each other's gaining antics.

Excitement raced through the three pups' minds, the exhaustion of their short walk home forgotten as they began preparing for the afternoon to hang out with Kazan's friend. Their plans were put on hold, however, when the brothers' mother called Koar's home to double-check on them. Kazan and Deklan spent ten minutes on the phone assuring her they would be fine and home for dinner, the wolf taking a few extra minutes to remind her of Aiden and how close they were before he moved. As soon as they were off the phone and back to planning what kinds of snacks to bring, the phone rang again, this time with Koar's father on the line asking for more information.

Kazan and Deklan watched and giggled as the jackal pouted and furrowed his eyebrows at having to explain how he met this new friend. His father obviously disliked that this would be the boy's first meeting with a stranger that he couldn't supervise. The wolf was just about to ask for the phone to offer his word that they would be safe when Koar's golden tail stopped lashing and the tip started wagging happily. He gently set the phone back in the receiver and sighed, "You guys are so lucky your parent's are cool with everything. I can barely make it out of the house sometimes!"

Deklan grinned sheepishly, unsure if he should sympathize with him or joke about the situation. "Don't worry," he patted his friend's shoulder as they walked back to the living room, "If Kaz is right, this afternoon is gonna be awesome! I'm dying to meet this kangaroo!"

Closing up his backpack after rearranging its contents to stuff a box of mini donuts inside, Kazan looked up at the two and quipped, "Hey, I _am_right! Aiden's gonna blow you both away - I just know it!"

Subconsciously placing a paw on his soft middle, Koar gave a sharp nod at the thought of getting some help catching up to the others in size and started stuffing his own backpack with snacks too. While the pups were busy trying to make room for food in their book-cluttered backpacks, a knock on the door snapped them to attention. Glancing at each other, all three bolted for the door and threw it open, their tails wagging at the sight of two marsupials waiting on the doorstep.

Kazan recognized his long-lost friend instantly, an excited dog-like "yip" escaping him as he threw his arms around the heavyset tree kangaroo. "Aiden! You're really here! I was starting to think I'd never see you again!" he laughed, squeezing his friend even tighter without registering just how malleable his friend's chest and arms were.

Feeling the wind knocked out of him, Aiden gave an exaggerated "Oof!" before returning the wolf's fierce hug, giggling and feeling his own thick tail wag enthusiastically. "I'm really back, alright! It's so good to see you again, mate!" Finally released, Aiden beamed up at his father, "You remember Kazan, right dad?"

The older kangaroo chuckled and held his paw out to shake. "You've gotten a lot taller than I remember," he remarked, approving of Kazan's solid pawshake. Mussing up the boy's hair, he turned his attention to the other pups behind the wolf, immediately noticing how similar they looked. "Now if Aiden hadn't warned me, I'd say it was you two who were brothers," he pointed two claws at the culpeo and jackal, "My name's Liam. Which one of you is Deklan and which is Koar?"

Ears perking forward and turning toward Kazan, Koar gave a nervous gulp at being compared to Deklan again, recalling what happened the last time someone made that mistake. The wolf didn't seem to notice however, so the jackal offered a nervous smile. "I'm Koar, sir, and this is Deklan," he gestured to the culpeo, "He's Kazan's brother." Lifting his paw in greeting, Koar's tail flicked at the firm shake from the older fur in front of him.

"So when did you guys get here?" Deklan asked, shaking Liam's paw after Koar, "We've been checking Kaz's email every day."

Tearing his attention away from the two-toned wolf, Aiden grinned and looked over to his new friends. "Our plane landed this morning and we just got everything unpacked half an hour ago," he explained, "Dad called your parents to see if you can come to our place; are you guys ready?"

Grinning at each other, the boys eagerly gathered their backpacks and followed the kangaroos to the rental car, Koar quickly locking the front door and pocketing his house key. Seeing Kazan and Deklan already crawling into the backseat of the small car, Aiden was just about to join them when his father put a paw on his shoulder. "How about you let them ride in the back? That way your new mate doesn't have to sit up front with a stranger," he said with a wink and a nod at the lagging jackal. Completely aware of how big his son's new friends were, he was more worried that if Aiden joined the brothers, the larger of the canids, in the back, they would be uncomfortably cramped.

Checking that everyone was buckled in, Liam set off down the road, going a bit slower as he was still adjusting to driving on the right side of the road. "Do you boys live close to Koar? I'd like to get an idea of where you live if I'm going to be dropping you off tonight." All three pups in the back chorused a "yes" and let Kazan direct him to their home three short blocks away. Memorizing the route, Liam pulled away from the suburban neighborhood and took a short ten-minute drive back to their new home.

Looking up at the two-story house as they pulled into the driveway, the five unloaded from the vehicle and made their way to the door. "Now the house isn't fully furnished yet, but I think you boys will be fine for a few hours. I promised Aiden I'd order some pizza if you're hungry. That okay?"

Three stomachs gave a ravenous growl of approval at the mention of food, their owners nodding with an excited wag. "Haha! Sounds like you guys are starving! Come on, I'll show you around upstairs while we wait," Aiden offered, hurriedly waddling towards the staircase. "This isn't as big as the last house we had when I was here," he said, directing the comment at Kazan, "but dad said it'll be just like home - oh, and the kitchen is amazing!"

Arriving at the top of the stairs, it surprised Deklan that Aiden wasn't breathing as heavily as his brother and he were. "H-hold on..." he gasped, frowning slightly. "I don't get it... You're way bigger than even me, but you're not... not winded like us... I get why Koar isn't, he's a lightweight," the culpeo remarked.

"Hey!" the jackal whined as he climbed the last step.

"So what gives?"

Grinning with smug pride, Aiden gave his prodigious stomach a hearty slap, small ripples jiggling all over his body. "I didn't just eat my way out of house and home to get this big, y'know. I work out too."

Three pairs of eyes stared at him with both wonder and confusion. Deklan flattened his ears back in shock. "What?! You actually exercise?!"

The kangaroo nodded with an air of self-satisfaction. "Of course! Looks like I have a lot to teach you guys," he chuckled while leading them to his room, "I do all kinds of exercises to stay fit. Don't wanna end up too fat to move, do ya?"

Deklan felt his tail droop as memories of their school's fitness exam flooded his mind. Without skipping a beat, Kazan immediately guessed what was wrong and changed the subject before Koar or Aiden could notice, "So I've got a question then, Aiden. How big is big enough for you? Where does it end?" The culpeo gave him a grateful glance to which Kazan simply replied with a sympathetic smile.

Aiden frowned a little as they entered his room. "Well... To be honest, Kazan, I've sorta been in a rut lately," he said dejectedly, grunting as he clambered onto his bed, "I'm sure you guys saw my blog post last week... I never really thought about a goal weight until a few months ago, but I think one hundred kilos is where I'll stop if I can make it. I think I'm starting to reach my limit."

The others set their belongings down and climbed onto the bed as well, noticing how barren the room was - just as they were warned. In fact, the only things in sight were the bed, a suitcase, and Aiden's backpack. Shifting their weight into a more comfortable position, they heard the bed creak noisily under their combined bulk, even though the queen-sized mattress gave the four of them more than enough room to share.

Kazan and Deklan weren't sure what to say since they didn't know how it felt to cap out, despite the fact that they were beginning to slow down after what happened during the previous month. Koar, on the other paw, could relate somewhat, having struggled to keep up with the brothers shortly after meeting them early that year. "Maybe it's just a temporary thing? I haven't been having much luck either," the jackal said, trying to comfort his new friend.

Aiden flopped onto his back, eliciting a loud groan from the bed frame, and shook his head, "I've hit a plateau before - like four times, really - but I was always able to power through them after a couple weeks. This time, it's been two months and I've only gained one stinkin' kilo! I've tried everything and I just don't know what to do anymore!" He let out a long sigh. "I'm sorry, Koar - right?" The jackal only nodded in response, giving Kazan and Deklan an uncertain look. After a few awkward seconds of silence, Aiden suddenly perked up and scrambled, with some difficulty, into a sitting position. "I can still help you guys out, though!" A smile was instantly put on each of the others' faces.

As if on cue, the cubs heard Liam call out from downstairs, "Aiden! What kind of pizza do your mates like?"

As if it was second nature, Kazan, Deklan, and Koar hollered back in unison, "Meat lover's!" They heard a faint chuckle from downstairs and turned their attention back to the kangaroo.

"So!" Deklan began, his tail wagging behind him excitedly, "What kind of secrets do you have? Do you have any tricks or something?" Kazan and Koar flicked their ears forward, eagerly listening for their new mentor's wisdom.

"Well, aside from exercising, I don't know what to say yet! I'd have to see you all eat first, and what you eat, and then I can tell you if you're doing something wrong. It'll be just like when we first met!" Aiden gave the wolf an affectionate squeeze, addressing the last part to his old friend and reminiscing nostalgic memories of the two of them.

A giggle escaped Kazan's lips as he returned the hug. "Then what are we waiting for?" he let go and hopped to the floor, "We all brought a bunch of snacks to share while we're here!" Kazan quickly retrieved his backpack and climbed back onto the bed, unzipping the bag and dumping out an assortment of various goodies. Taking his lead, Deklan and Koar eagerly followed suit. Once all their backpacks were emptied, a sizable pile of food had amassed itself in the middle of the bed.

"Wow, you guys weren't kidding when you said you were gaining!" Aiden laughed, pleasantly surprised that they brought along so much food, "You know we still have pizza coming, right?"

"Yeah? So? I'm hungry now!" Deklan exclaimed, trying to impress the enormous marsupial.

Aiden smirked in response, "This is all great for a small snack, but I hope this isn't your only gainer food!" The others tilted their heads, watching him with confusion. These kinds of foods were, in fact, what they spent most of their time binging on. Aiden stopped giggling as he noticed their gloomy looks and straightened his expression, "Well, then I guess this is the first lesson! You can't just rely on empty calories and sugars to gain." Again, all he got were blank stares in return. "This stuff helps and all, but if you wanna really gain, you have to eat foods with more substance - like carbs and protein!"

There was a brief pause while they processed the information.

"Oh! So like, burgers or something?" Koar shouted out.

"Yeah! Basically, just eat things with as much stuff in them as possible. These snacks are all just salt and sugar," Aiden explained, "Just think that more food is good, but more stuff in the food makes it even better!"

A collective drawn-out "Oh..." came from the pups as they slowly nodded.

Ears swiveling backwards as he thought, Koar perked up and leaned forward. "Okay, so that's the first lesson. What about any tricks to gain faster or easier? Do you have anything like that?"

Grinning at their new friend, Deklan leaned over and nudged the jackal's slight paunch. "Yeah, Koar needs all the help he can get. He just can't keep up with me and Kaz anymore - but he can pack food away like nobody's business," he added, letting him know he was only teasing.

Rubbing over his thick tail in his lap, Aiden thought for a moment before nodding. "Well I've got an idea, but I'd rather save it for later. How about we just see how well you guys can keep up with me on the pizza? And if you still got room, we can polish off whatever's left of these snacks," he suggested, stifling a laugh as Kazan was already working on his third snack cake.

Swallowing his heavy mouthful with a forceful gulp, the wolf gave an embarrassed blush. "What? Dek was right, we're hungry now!"

Laughing, an idea came to Aiden, an excited twitch in his tail getting him to scramble off the bed. "Come on, I know what we can do while we wait for the pizzas!" Hurrying out of his bedroom, the heavy kangaroo plodded down the hall with his canid friends close behind, ending at the bathroom a few doors away. "I thought I saw one in here... Ah-ha!" Aiden exclaimed, pulling an old mechanical scale from the towel cabinet, "How about we weigh you three and set up a plan for where you'll be in a few months?"

Their tails swished enthusiastically and Deklan smirked as the scale was set down. "And anybody who doesn't make his goal gets stuffed until they do!" he exclaimed. Stepping onto the scale, the culpeo frowned and strained to see past his bloated belly. "Well? What's it say?!"

Squatting down, Kazan stared at the outdated scale and read out the result as it finally settled on a number, "Looks like a hundred fifty-nine, I can't tell exactly how much." Watching his brother step down, he eagerly took his place and awkwardly tried to see his own weight.

Koar took over reading the scale and stood up, smiling at his friend. "You're just at one forty-one, fatty," he giggled, slipping both paws under the wolf's creamy white belly and lifting up the slight overhang before letting it plop back down. "Okay, it's my turn then," Koar said, nervously stepping onto the scale. Unlike the others, he could easily see past his middle, watching the scale spin and wobble before stopping just at 107. "Wa-wait... That's it...?"

The other three crowded around him and stared down at the numbers, Deklan smirking as he was, once again, proven to be the heaviest of the less experienced gainers. Aiden patted the jackal's shoulder and gave him a warm smile. "Hey, don't feel too bad. It's just harder for some of us. Trust me, by the end of the summer, you'll be as big and soft as you could ever want!"

"Really? You think?" Koar asked hopefully, stepping off the scale and watching it spin all the way back to zero.

"Sure!" Aiden reassured the jackal and began making his way out of the bathroom, "Come on, let's go draw up those plans!"

"Wait, wait! Hold on!" Kazan tugged on the marsupial's meaty wrist, "You haven't weighed yourself yet, Aiden! I still can't believe you're almost two hundred pounds now!"

"Yeah, I wanna see too!" Deklan joined in.

At first reluctant to be reminded of his current plateau, Aiden gave in and padded back to the scale, a playful smirk stretching across his chubby muzzle, "Oh, fine, but last time I checked, it was still more like one ninety-two."

The kangaroo slowly stepped onto the scale as if his hulking weight would crush it if he wasn't careful. The others all leaned forward, watching intently as the dial whirled around noisily. After bouncing back and forth a few times, the scale finally settled, leaving the canines speechless.

"Well?" Aiden prodded Kazan's shoulder.

"Huh? Oh! You're a tiny bit over one ninety-three!" the wolf blurted out, still staring at the numbers in amazement.

"See? Nothing's changed for a while now," Aiden replied, a hint of disappointment in his voice, "Now, are we gonna start planning or what?"

Deklan stood back at attention, his tail flicking about happily, "Right! I'm gonna catch up to you, Aiden! Just you wait!"

"Oh yeah?" Kazan barked, competitive fervor rising as he got in the culpeo's face and gave his doughy chest a rough poke, "We'll see about that! First to catch up to Aiden wins!" Despite the wolf being taller, his brother's six-pound advantage didn't seem to occur to him.

"You're on, wolfy! I'm already ahead of you!" Deklan shouted, pulling his shoulders back and proudly emphasizing his slightly larger belly. It didn't matter what the winner would actually get; it was simply a matter of sibling rivalry.

Koar and Aiden chuckled at the brothers' bickering. Stepping off the scale, the marsupial started heading to the door and asked about the quarreling, "Are they always like this?"

"No, not always. Only when it's about their weight," Koar said, still laughing as he followed his host.

Once in his room, Aiden grabbed his tablet from its charger and clambered back onto the spacious bed with his friends. Kazan was accustomed to seeing all the expensive high-tech toys in the kangaroo's possession, but Deklan and Koar couldn't help but stare at the device with a bit of childish jealousy. Their gawking went unnoticed by Aiden, though, as he opened his digital journal to start mapping out goals for the next few months, "Alright, let's get your starting weights put in first - say, do you guys know how big your waistlines are? For your pants, I mean." The three canids gave the marsupial a confused stare, as if he'd just asked them how far away the moon was. Ears flicking back, Aiden tried to give them a reassuring smile, "It's so we can track your progress better. See, if you have more than one goal to hit, you're gonna try harder, right? Last year, I stopped aiming for the seventy kilo mark and instead tried to up my waistline from 34 to 36. I actually hit seventy-three kilos instead!"

The aspiring gainers looked from their mentor and to each other before scrambling off the bed to check their shorts for their pants sizes. "Oh, oh, I found it!" Koar exclaimed, finding the small tag by his left hip. "Mine says twenty-six. What about you guys?" he asked, catching Aiden tap away at his tablet.

Forced to unbutton his own too-small shorts to find the hidden tag, Kazan managed to just peer over his love handle to read out 28. Deklan, being noticeably wider, was having far more trouble just unbuttoning his shorts and tugging them open, not to mention seeing past the large roll on his side to find the small tag. "I can't... I can't even see it! Kaz, come help me!"

Snickering at his helpless brother, Kazan walked over and took hold of Deklan's shorts and tilted his head to look at the tag. "You're wearing a twenty-eight like me, but it looks like you need a bigger size, Dek."

Deklan gave an elated grin and struggled to button his shorts again. "Is that all you need, Aiden?" he asked.

"Should be enough for right now. Who wants to set their goals first?"

Koar took a step back as the two brothers rushed the kangaroo, restlessly arguing amongst each other to go first, but Kazan's zeal to win his little contest with Deklan went unmatched. "Right here, Aiden, I'm going first! Show me what I gotta do to catch up to you!" The wolf naively believed that, with the kangaroo's guidance, he could gain the additional mass by the end of summer.

Smiling sympathetically, Aiden realized just how eager his old friend was to surpass his brother and even himself. He paused to make a quick calculation before playfully poking the wolf's gut, "Fifty-two pounds isn't gonna happen in three months, Kazan. Your head might say 'I want more!' but your body's gonna say 'No way, it's not happening that fast!'" Even after several minutes of Kazan urging that he could pull it off, Aiden maintained there was no way it was possible considering his current - albeit impressive - weight and eventually managed to have him settle for thirty pounds instead, recording a target weight of 170 on his tablet. He reasoned, from personal experience, that the bigger they got, the harder it would be to put on more weight. Despite the somewhat discouraging setback, Kazan's resolve to beat Deklan didn't falter in the slightest.

Hearing Aiden's explanation, the culpeo was far easier to convince as he simply made a similar mission, setting his target weight at 180. Unlike his brother, he was hardly concerned about winning the competition since he already had the upper paw.

Meanwhile, Koar was much smaller than either Kazan or Deklan, which led Aiden to believe he could easily pack on more weight than any of them in the given time frame. However, the jackal knew firsthand how limited his body was in putting on weight and insisted on setting a surprisingly conservative goal of 120, only thirteen pounds from where he currently stood. Before anyone could give it much thought, though, an audible gurgle sounded from Koar's pudgy middle, creating a domino effect of equally loud grumbling from the other three cavernous guts.

No sooner had their stomachs stopped rumbling than they heard the faint echo of the doorbell. Ears flicking up, all four made a beeline for the staircase, Aiden in front as they hurried to the kitchen. Liam was just closing the front door, with a total of five boxes in his arms, when the last of the thunderous footsteps finished descending the stairs. "Well you boys wasted no time getting down here!" he chuckled, "I hope you don't mind a pizza each; the way your bellies were growling it sounded like you could go for more than just a slice or two." As Liam walked to the kitchen, the boys eagerly trailed behind him, more than one set of jaws drooling at the tantalizing scents of grease, cheese, and tomato sauce.

Setting the tower of pizzas on the counter, Liam crossed his arms as he realized they didn't even have paper plates to eat off of. "Well that's a problem," he mumbled. The boys didn't see one, however, and eagerly hurried to grab an entire box each, briefly trading between themselves to ensure the canids found their preferred meaty meals while Aiden and his father were left with their veggies.

"Dad, is it okay if we eat upstairs?" Aiden asked, thick tail slowly dragging across the ground in an attempted wag.

Liam looked at the four with a slight frown as he thought. "It's a brand new house, hun. I don't want to see the carpets get stained with pizza sauce on the first day here."

"We'll be careful, sir!" Koar begged, golden tail fluttering behind him, "We promise we won't make a mess. We'll eat over the boxes."

Seeing four pairs of eyes pleading back at him, Liam knew when to give in and shook his head with a small smile, "Alright, but if I see even one stain upstairs, I'm not ordering pizza for you boys ever again."

With an elated whoop for joy, the boys raced back to the staircase, the cacophonous roar of their heavy footfalls shaking the entire house as they bounded for the confines of Aiden's room. "I think he was serious, guys. We can't make a mess," the kangaroo warned, "I don't want to see any messy eaters _just_yet."

Sitting side-by-side against the bed, Deklan perked his ears as an idea struck him, "Hey Aiden, you said you wanted to see how well we can handle these pizzas, right? Well I know how we can do that without making a mess!" He struggled to his knees with a mischievous look in his eyes as he gave the marsupial a toothy grin. "How about I feed you your pizza, you feed me mine, and Kaz and Koar feed each other? That way you can see how well we do under pressure with someone else doing the feeding. What do you say?"

The other two seemed to like the idea, Koar easily bouncing to his feet while Kazan shifted and heaved himself forward. "We're game!" Kazan exclaimed, "We've fed each other before a few times. We're great at stuffing each other down to the last crumb!"

Looking up at the culpeo and then to his other friends, Aiden gave it only the briefest of thoughts before nodding. It'd been a long time since he found another friend with the same interest who he trusted enough to feed him. Plus, he had to admit it was one of the most exciting activities to do as a gainer. "Alright, I think we can do that!" He slid his box over to Deklan to trade pizzas with him as they shared an enthusiastic smirk. Watching Aiden pick up the first slice, Deklan opened his muzzle wide, hungrily eyeing it as it was maneuvered passed his lips. Unsurprised, Aiden watched him take one scissoring bite and then a second before pulling away from what was left in his paw, the culpeo's jaws working to chew over the mass of meat and dough in his maw.

Instead of following Deklan's example, Aiden astonished the others by opening his mouth as wide as he could, his fat cheeks wobbling as he bit down on a third of the slice in his first bite before leaning forward to take a second and again for a third. It took Deklan a few seconds to realize Aiden was still tearing off bites of pizza. Shocked, he tightened his grip on the crust, instinctively trying to pull it away. All he succeeded in doing, though, was fold it in half, which was exactly what the kangaroo wanted. With his cheeks bulging out impossibly far, seeming to have swollen to twice their original size, Aiden chewed fiercely and reached his muzzle out one last time to cram the last of the slice in his maw, simultaneously swallowing to send parts of the grossly oversized mouthful into his waiting stomach.

Staring wide-eyed as the marsupial casually reclined back, his jaws working overtime as he chewed an entire slice at once, all three of his pupils held their breath in disbelief while Aiden finally cleared the last of it from his throat, sighing in relief when he finally did. "Th-that was incredible!" Deklan nearly shouted, his tail waving at a breakneck speed as he leaned closer to the kangaroo. "I've never seen anybody eat an entire slice in one bite! How did you do it? What's the trick?" he demanded, peppering his feedee with rapid-fire questions.

Aiden replied with a smug grin and considered teaching the dumbfounded canids his ways. "Practice!" he quipped, giggling as he crudely stuffed the rest of Deklan's slice into the culpeo's hanging jaws. Completely taken by surprise, Deklan nearly choked on the the sudden assault but recovered quickly. Eagerly taking the opportunity to prove himself, he tried to close his mouth over the remaining two-thirds of the slice. Half of the crust still stuck out of his muzzle, though, and he resorted to pushing his face closer to Aiden's paw in an attempt to shove the pizza in further. The kangaroo chuckled and obliged, forcing the last of it into the culpeo's greedy maw, pulling his fingers back after shoving the crust passed his lips. With his jaws comically pried open and unable to chew, Deklan found it impossible to grind the glob of dough embedded in his mouth into something he could swallow. Now unrestricted, the butt of the crust sprung back out of his lips, taunting the poor culpeo.

Flustered, Deklan sputtered frustrated gibberish, the cheesy glob lodged in his muzzle muffling whatever he was trying to say. Kazan, Koar, and Aiden burst out laughing as they watched the overzealous canine struggle to cram the crust back into his wedged jaws. It took several seconds to even close his mouth, let alone chew, which only made the others laugh harder. Lowering his head, he looked to his feeder, his face begging for help.

"Looks like you bit off more than you can chew, huh!" Aiden jabbed, giving Deklan's blushing, overstuffed cheeks a playful poke. At this point, the laughing was starting to hurt as the marsupial fell backwards against the bed frame, clutching his quivering gut.

With his pleas ignored, Deklan had no choice but to do his best to clamp his teeth down and get to work. It was slow going at first - slightly painful, even - as he was barely able to wiggle his jaws closed. Only after an entire minute of laborious chewing was the culpeo able to start swallowing the mushed-up pizza in small bits. Once it was finally down to a more manageable form, Deklan made one last heavy gulp to clear his throat before panting to catch his breath. "How did you... how did you do it?" he asked again, wheezing.

Aiden snickered and shook his head, "I'll show you one more time, but that's it!"

Watching the kangaroo closely, Kazan and Koar settled down as Deklan grabbed a second slice of the veggie pizza and held it in front of the kangaroo's muzzle. Like he did before, Aiden opened his gaping maw as far apart as he could before lunging forward to chomp down on half of the slice, repeating the action two more times to cram the rest of it into his absurdly inflated jowls. It was just as easy for him the second time it was the first.

Swallowing the last of the gargantuan mouthful, Aiden prepared Deklan's next slice but paused to look over at Kazan and Koar. Smirking, he snapped them out of their trance by waving the slice in their direction, only to shove it passed the culpeo's lips a second later. "What are you two waiting for? Get to eating, you silly mutts!"

Their heads flicked down to see both of their unopened pizzas. Too enraptured by Aiden's performance, Kazan and Koar suddenly remembered how hungry they were and ravenously tore open their boxes. Neither bothered trying to replicate Aiden's remarkable display; even Deklan gave up after a second failed attempt. Feeding each other was awkward at first, simultaneously having to pay attention to both the slice in their paws and the slice entering their jaws, as they accidentally smeared tomato sauce over their cheeks in the process - luckily, the carpet was spared of any stains. Despite this initial difficulty, though, they soon fell into a rhythm as pizza steadily flowed between them, each taking a different approach to how one could eat faster than the other. On one paw, Kazan devoured his pizza in large greedy bites - still nowhere close to as big as Aiden's, however - but he had to spend more time chewing and swallowing in exchange. On the other paw, Koar took much smaller bites but in rapid succession, resulting in a neck and neck tie with the wolf.

In just ten minutes, the four gluttons all but inhaled their pizzas as slice after slice disappeared down their gullets and into the bottomless pits that were their stomachs. However, even with their tummies now bloated and pleasantly full, they still hungered for more. Without a second thought, they climbed back onto Aiden's bed and turned their attention to the heap of snacks in the middle, the empty calories simply waiting to be consumed and added to the overfed cubs' hefty frames as the boys eagerly continued their little game of feeding each other. Without a care in the world, food flew passed their mouths with reckless abandon while their tummies slowly stretched out further and tighter, digging into the snug waistlines of their undersized shorts. Countless chips, cheese puffs, snack cakes, cookies, and more were crammed into their swollen middles as all that soon remained were empty bags and wrappers strewn around them. Unsurprisingly, by the time the snacks were demolished, Aiden was the only one left who still had room to spare in the cavernous void of his gut. After nearly thirty minutes of near-constant gorging, they spent the next hour sprawled out all over the bed, carelessly lying over the crinkling myriad of their feast's plastic remains while tenderly rubbing over the taut flesh on their dome-like bellies.

"We gotta do this again..." Aiden mumbled, his eyes glazed over from the food high.

The others lazily nodded and groaned in agreement. They were too busy trying to digest what they could before they had to leave. Dinner would still be waiting for them once they got home.
