Birthday Binge

Something I tried to whip up in time for powersndark's birthday! This is just a happy little thing that continues off of one of his stories and is about Kazan, Deklan, and Koar stuffing themselves with an extra bit at the end that I wanted to do more with... I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted to/usually do so it got kinda rushed. ._.

Oh well, I hope you enjoy it and please leave a comment letting me know what you think! Any kind of feedback is highly appreciated!

Deklan impatiently mashed the doorbell with a stubby finger.

"Coming!" a boy cried out.

Kazan and Deklan restlessly waited outside, their tails blurring behind them as they heard their friend bounding downstairs. Having secretly plotted weeks in advance for the occasion, they couldn't wait to finally put their plans in motion as the door swung open and revealed an equally excited, slightly winded, jackal.

"Happy birthday, Koar!" they exclaimed in unison.

"Hey guys, it's about time! What took you?"Koar teased, "Come on, my dad has a surprise for us!" He ran back upstairs and hollered for his father, "Dad! They're here!"

"Alright, I'll be out in a minute!" an older voice called back.

"We did our homework as fast as we could, but we had to wait for our parents to come home," Kazan explained while Deklan and he quickly stepped inside and took off their shoes, briefly waving to the car backing out of the driveway. Closing the door behind them, they followed the jackal up to his room and carefully set their duffel bags on the ground before plopping themselves onto his bed.

Koar idly spun around on his desk chair, curiously eying the familiar bags. "What's in there this time?" he asked with a grin as he got up and padded toward them.

"Hey, hey!" the culpeo barked, jumping up with some difficulty and playfully pulling him away, "It's a secret!"

"You'll see..." Kazan smirked as the jackal pouted back to his seat.

Their ears twitched at some knocking as Koar's father poked his head in and smiled, "You boys ready?"

"In a little bit," the wolf winked.

The older jackal simply chuckled and left to wait downstairs while Koar tilted his head, confused by the interaction.

"But first..." Kazan stood and reached into a pocket. Pulling out a blindfold, he gave a toothy grin and approached his pudgy friend. "We have a surprise for you."

Koar apprehensively backed away in his chair until it was up against the wall, wary of having anything bound to him after what happened when he let Kazan put him on a leash, "Kaz? Wh-What're you doing? What's that for?"

"Don't worry, it's part of your surprise!" Deklan coaxed.

"B-but what about my dad's surprise?" Koar whined.

Spinning the jackal's chair around, Kazan tied the blindfold over Koar's eyes, "I think you mean our surprise."

Deklan giggled as he hopped off the bed. "And don't forget about the duffel bags too, Koar!" he added. His sagging stomach suddenly gave off an audible gurgle. "Now let's go. I'm starving!"

The jackal gulped and got to his feet with his arms outstretched, trying to feel his surroundings. However, he suddenly felt a pair of meaty paws grab his arms and push them down onto his squishy sides as Kazan slowly led Koar out of his room and down the stairs. Once safely on the first floor, the wolf released the jackal and let him wander about with his paws out again. Looking up from his phone, Koar's father stifled a laugh upon seeing the boy aimlessly stumble about. He gave the device one last glance before stowing it into his pocket.

"Ready?" he asked, walking up and rustling his son's hair.

"Mhm!" the brothers nodded in excitement as Koar whimpered with uncertainty.

Following the older canine, Kazan guided the blinded jackal to the garage and waited for Deklan to open the car's rear door. Once the culpeo had moved over to the far side, Kazan gave Koar a nudge as the jackal pawed at the opening and ducked his head before carefully sitting down and sliding into the middle seat.

"Move over, you guys!" the wolf complained as he struggled to squeeze his wide rear into the backseat. Yanking the door shut, he firmly wedged himself between it and the birthday boy. The other two tried to scoot further inside the cramped sedan, but there just wasn't any more space between their oversized rumps. Groaning in defeat, the three gave up and reached for their seatbelts as the car backed out into the street. It took a while for the pups to find the buckles beneath their combined poundage, but after a few seconds of fumbling and digging between each other's fatty love handles, they were all securely fastened and on their way.

"Can you guys at least tell me where we're going?" the jackal meekly asked.

"Nope," Deklan replied bluntly.

Koar frowned and lowered his ears, "Dad?"

His father caught the wolf staring him down through the rearview mirror and smirked, "Sorry, Koar."

Although somewhat taken aback that even his father wouldn't let him in on their plans, Koar tried to play along and patiently waited to remove the blindfold. Knowing the brothers and how their previous sleepover went, he could only grin and imagine what might become of him by the end of the night. Eventually, the darkness surrounding him put him to sleep as the long car ride passed in silence.

"Koar," Deklan whispered, "We're here!"

Koar had fallen asleep on the culpeo and wouldn't budge the whole way.

Grumbling as he felt some drool dribbling onto his shoulder, Deklan groaned the jackal's name in a long drawn-out sigh, "Koar!"

The jackal mumbled something about food and nuzzled further onto Deklan's soft frame.

"Koar, come on!" the culpeo complained, trying to shake him off.

From the other side, Kazan quietly laughed at his brother's predicament before mischievously jabbing a claw at Koar's squishy side.

The jackal bolted upright and yipped in shock. "What was that for?!" he cried, angrily removing the blindfold and whipping around to face his attacker. Kazan simply smiled, feigning innocence, and pointed out the window as they turned into a strip mall. Koar leaned over the wolf's ample belly to get a better view. Looking outside, his face lit up upon recognizing the restaurant his father pulled up to, "Uncle Nik!"

Practically bouncing out of his seat in excitement, the jackal, along with Kazan and Deklan, couldn't wait to see what kinds of food the red panda had in store for them. Once they came to a complete stop, they jumped out of the car and ran for the restaurant's entrance while Koar's father lagged behind. Although all the lights were still on, Koar stopped in front of the establishment, staring up at a closed sign hanging behind the glass door.

He turned to his friends with a confused frown, "Hey, what gives? The restaurant's closed!"

Kazan laughed at the jackal's disappointment, "Oh come on, Koar. It's barely past six!" Pulling the door open to prove his point, he jokingly ushered the other three inside before entering himself. The tantalizing scents of several expertly prepared delicacies leaked out of the kitchen and instantly filled their noses, convincing Koar that his uncle was indeed present.

In the back, numerous pots and pans bubbled and sizzled away as Nik diligently toiled away for his nephew's arrival. His ears twitched as he heard a bell ring in from the dining room. Looking up from the cutting board and wiping his brow, he peered out the kitchen door's window and saw his guest of honor had finally arrived. He quickly placed his knife down, wiped his paws on his apron, and checked on the burners, turning a few of them off and giving the others a quick stir before rushing out to greet the bottomless pits that were his favorite taste testers.

"Uncle Nik!" Koar exclaimed with joy, his tail wagging furiously as he ran up to the red panda and squeezed him as tightly as he could.

Nik bent down and happily returned the hug, "Hey there, champ! I missed you! How've you been?"

"I've been great. No one would tell me we were coming here!" the boy beamed up at his uncle before curiously looking around the empty restaurant, "Where is everyone, Uncle Nik? How come the sign at the door says closed?"

The red panda chuckled knowingly, pulling away and ruffling his nephew's ears, "Your friends asked me to cook for you guys tonight. So, I thought it'd be best if I closed up extra early to get ready for you!"

Koar's father, delighted by his son's elation, extended an arm and shook his old friend's paw, "Thanks, Nik. I -"

"Bah, don't mention it!" Nik cut him off, "I love seeing Koar! Besides, getting to cook for him is always a plus!" He justified his labor of love, patting the boy's head before playfully smacking Kazan and Deklan's tummies with his long bushy tail, "And I hope you two brought your appetites. I have a_big_ dinner prepared for our birthday boy!" He gave one of Koar's chubby cheeks an affectionate pinch and excused himself, "I gotta go check up on the food. Why don't you all have a seat over there?" he pointed to a large table decorated with balloons and streamers, "I'm just about done, so dinner will be ready in a little bit." With that, Nik hurried back to the kitchen to check on the food, leaving his guests to seat themselves.

Koar turned to the table and noticed a flat neatly wrapped box, undoubtedly Nik's birthday present, sitting at one end. Gleefully taking his seat in front of the colorful package, he tore it open and gasped at what he uncovered, "No way! Guys, look! It's the new Super Mutt game!" The jackal's father couldn't help but smile as he watched Koar hold it out for his friends to see. They oohed and aahed at the box art and turned it over, frantically reading over and pointing at all of the game's different features on the back cover. Deklan even noticed it was multiplayer and suggested they play together after dinner. Quickly peeling off the plastic shrink-wrap, the jackal popped the case open and pulled out the instruction manual. As the boys thumbed through the booklet, Nik carefully pushed a triple-decker serving cart, filled to the brim with piping hot food, out of the kitchen and made his way to the table. Just as he did so, everyone fell speechless as all of the different sweet and savory aromas wafted over their snouts and sent their mouths watering like running faucets.

Koar nearly leapt out of his seat to thank his uncle but immediately forgot when his jaw hit the floor after taking in the sheer volume of food that was being brought out - all of them his favorites: three racks of mouthwatering baby back ribs treated with a generous spice rub, marinated in pineapple juice and apricot nectar, and drenched in a rich homemade barbecue sauce; a massive platter piled high with sticky honey barbecue chicken wings with just a hint of heat for an added kick; a commercial baking pan crammed completely full of thick, juicy "sliders" whose girth rivaled that of most normal-sized burgers; a veritable bucketful of crispy golden-brown French fries meticulously seasoned to perfection; and, of course, an industrial, near-overflowing kettle of thick noodles and succulent pork bathing in a hearty gravy broth - the very dish the cubs helped Nik add to his menu at their last sleepover. With their muzzles now soaked in a drooling mess, they took a deep whiff of the vast array of food and exhaled with an anxious sigh, almost unwilling to ruin into the impressive display of culinary mastery despite the loud grumbling emanating from their cavernous stomachs.

Nik chortled at their longing faces and wagging tails, absolutely thrilled by how eager they were, "Well? What are you pups waiting for? Dig in!" Taking advantage of the opportunity, he sat down by Koar's father so the two could catch up while the boys tore into the feast with gusto, both adults all too familiar with the cubs' shamelessly overindulgent eating habits.

Without even thinking twice, they simply grabbed at whatever was closest to them and shoved it into their hungry maws. Kazan instantly reached for the ribs; using his bare paws to tear off the first bone, he effortlessly sunk his sharp canine teeth into its tender flesh. Moaning in delight from the fruity flavors dancing across his tongue, he ravenously picked the rest of the rib clean and ripped off another, downing it just as swiftly as he did the first. While the wolf made quick work of the barbecued pork, Deklan took a slider in each paw and rapidly crammed them down his greedy gullet, squirming in ecstasy as the inch-thick patties expelled their fatty juices into his mouth and all over his paws. Each "miniature" burger was carefully balanced atop a bed of fresh vegetables and covered in a generous slab of melted cheddar, adding both a satisfying crunch and a sharp zing to the savory bacon-infused beef. At the head of the table, Koar had already formed a sizable pile of bones on a plate in front of him. The jackal kept himself busy with the sumptuously sweet and subtly spicy chicken as he slid wing after gooey wing passed his lips, easily stripping the bones of their sticky honey roasted meat and spitting them back out completely barren.

Kazan, Deklan, and Koar recklessly stuffed themselves full of Nik's irresistibly delicious foods, periodically breaking the influx of protein with large pawfuls of greasy French fries. A mix of oily sauces and random scraps of meat dribbled onto their chests and clung to their muzzles, staining their shirts and fur various shades of red and brown. Their bellies steadily swelled out with each voracious bite they took, pushing further and further over their already-straining pants and onto their thick gelatinous thighs. In no time at all, the bulging masses of fur and flesh already started peeking out from beneath their shirts, exposing the rapidly expanding balls of fluff for the world to see.

Some twenty minutes into their meal, Koar briefly put his nonstop gorging on hold to let out a long, sloppy belch. At this point, the wolf had devoured an entire rack of ribs and was about to move onto his second if it weren't for Koar's noisy outburst. Kazan and Deklan glanced up from their plates, swallowing what food that was in their mouths and giggling when they saw the stack of bones towering over the jackal's plate and dwarfing Kazan's own modest pile of ribs.

"Jeez, Koar! Leave some for us!" the culpeo teased with a slider in paw, nearly forgetting about the other delicacies on the table.

Koar stared down at his plate and then at the platter of wings. "Oh... Oops..." he blushed and laughed along with the brothers, realizing he already demolished over half of the chicken wings. Acknowledging the pleasant pressure building up in their distended middles, they looked around the table and seemed to rotate dishes as they eagerly reached out for whatever the person next to them was eating and began stuffing their faces anew.

Checking on the pups, Nik paused his conversation with the older jackal and their far more reserved meal, suddenly realizing he never served the noodles. Excusing himself, he disappeared into the kitchen for a moment and returned with five large bowls. He filled each of them to the brim with noodles and drowned them in gravy before gently placing a few fat slices of roast pork on top. The cubs, too enraptured by their insatiable glutting, barely noticed when the red panda placed a bowl beside each of them, only grunting thanks in between greedy swallows.

However, they quickly perked up and turned their attention to the familiar dish. With their sticky paws caked in syrupy sauces, they picked up a utensil for the first time all night and vigorously stabbed their forks at the heaps of succulent pork, messily slurped up the chewy noodles, and guzzled down the heavy broth. Nearly slamming the dish on the table with a content sigh, they hardly wasted a moment before proceeding to shove the other entrees through their greedy muzzles while Nik refilled their empty bowls.

Any sense of time fled them as Kazan, Deklan, and Koar tore through their dinner, only breaking from time to time to soothe the growing discomfort in their bloated guts or reposition themselves to reach the food more easily. At some point in the night, the agonizing tension biting into their oversized waistlines became unbearable and they each had to undo the buttons on their pants in order to continue eating. Instantly, the swollen balls of drum-tight flesh surged outward, forcing their zippers all the way down and flopping onto their generous laps. With a groan of relief and their capacities expanded, they promptly dug right back into their feast as if they hadn't eaten all day.

Finally, after nearly an hour of constant binging, the boys appeared to have reached their limits as their voracious gorging ground to a halt and their ravenous appetites were appeased. In sum, three dozen ribs, countless chicken wings, two score sliders, a mountain of French fries, and a massive kettle of rich noodles all fell victim to their boundless hunger. With their shirts riding all the way up the immense curvature of their bulging middles, they sighed in satisfaction and slumped back in their seats with their ears hung low, reveling in their unabashed display of gluttony. Licking their paws clean before giving their globular masses an affectionate pat, the overfed cubs rubbed away at the tortured flesh in wide arcs to ease the pain - all while still lapping up bits of leftover food and sauce on their muzzles.

"I couldn't eat another bite..." Koar declared.

"You pups just don't know when to call it quits, do you?" Nik gave a hearty laugh as he observed the aftermath of the birthday boy's dinner - only bones and crumbs remained.

"We can handle anything you throw at us! Right, guys?" the jackal boasted, turning to Kazan and Deklan.

They belched loudly in response. "We haven't gotten to eat like this in ages, Mr. Nik!" Deklan exclaimed gratefuly.

The red panda chuckled again and teased them, "Well, I hope you all saved room for dessert!"

Despite being stuffed painfully full, their ears shot up at the mention of dessert and they sat right back up, tails eagerly swishing around behind them.

"You're kidding, right?"Nik asked in disbelief. All he got in response were three pairs of eyes hungrily staring back at him. He cracked a smile and stood up, moving some dirty plates out of the way before heading back into the kitchen. It took him a minute this time, but he soon returned with a cake, already lit up with the proper number of candles. He walked up to Koar and gently placed it in front of him. The cake wasn't very large - the red panda didn't expect the cubs to have room to spare after the extravagant feast - but the sentiment was present above all else.

Once everyone sung him a happy birthday, the jackal made a quick wish in his head and blew out the candles. Nik cut the cake into five even slices and handed a piece to everyone. Already feeling the effects of their overindulgence, Kazan, Deklan, and Koar couldn't keep up with their earlier fervor, despite their best efforts, and only managed to slowly pick away at the sweet buttery confection in large chunks, barely tasting its moist pillowy interior as drowsiness quickly overtook them. Barely half-awake by the time they finished, they thanked the red panda and said their goodbyes before waddling off to their car, clinging to their engorged guts as they slept the entire way home.

Back at the jackals' home, Koar's father gently nudged the sleeping pups awake. With a yawn and a stretch, they shuffled out of the car and up the stairs, careful not to bump into each other's bloated forms. Although the long car ride allowed some time for their stomachs to digest their gargantuan meal, they were still thoroughly stuffed as their taught bellies had only softened up a little bit.

Back in his room, Koar groggily plopped onto his bed, yawning as he caressed the domelike appendage looming over his snout. "That was the best birthday dinner I've ever had, you guys..." he mumbled through drooping eyelids.

Kazan and Deklan, suddenly wide awake, gave each other a mischievous smirk and started unpacking their duffel bags. "Oh, you're not done yet, Koar," the wolf snickered.

The jackal ears flickered at the bags' loud unzipping and the ear-splitting crinkle-pop of cheap plastic containers being opened. It took a few moments, but his eyes shot open once he registered the ominous statement, "Wha-rmff!"

The next thing Koar knew, a pawful of cake was recklessly crammed down his muzzle. He tried to resist and spit it out, but quickly realized what it was and relaxed. After chewing and swallowing, the jackal looked around and found a small half-ruined cake by his head. On the ground, he saw several more cakes, identical to the one they had at Nik's restaurant, encased in plastic and stacked up in a few small piles. Standing over him were the two grinning brothers, each waiting to stuff him full of more food.

Koar gave a nervous gulp and whimpered, clutching his swollen abdomen in fear, "Is that what was in your bags? Where did you guys even -"

Deklan giggled as Kazan shoved another hunk of cake into his mouth. "Shh..." the wolf coaxed, "I know a guy. Just relax and enjoy, Koar. It'll be a long night if you try fighting back - we have one for every year you are old!"
