#1 of Legend of the Crimson Fist

A mere harmless adventure story of the masculine kind while I try learning out to create action packed and manly stories where men beat each other up in the subtext of the romance between men. Well comment, it's not like I'll get any better or worse without your help.

His name Kai, Kai Steel, last of the students of the style of Crimson Flash Fist. He is a brown wolf, with an under pelt of cream fur. He wore nothing but a red jacket and thong. The only other accessory he had were white bandages slightly dirtied with the dust of the trail. All of his worldly possessions in a canvas brown gym sack slung over his shoulder. Kai wandered, searching for the man who trained him and his fellow students. The wolf's teacher had gone missing three years ago and ever since then, Kai had gone on searching throughout the world for his teacher's fate. As for what he did? He was a champion, a defender of kin, the race of anthros in this world against fearsome monsters and of course petty crime among the people.

Currently he walked among a lonely road, dirt packed and surrounded by trees.

His pointed canine ears flicked once and his bag dropped. Sudden rustling came out from the bushes. Kai's fist blurred like a red streak. A badger wearing a bandanna on his head had his stomach meeting the wolf's fist. Out of the forest came the Green Moss Bandits.

Kai casually shifts his weight to his right foot. He leaned back into a relaxed stance. "Heh, you don't know who're messing with do ya?" The wolf said, his canine teeth sharp and glinting. The bandits, all bearing clubs of rough fallen tree branches laughed. It was a collection of badgers, bears and even tigers that were looking to beat Kai black and blue and take what they wanted.

However it would be the wolf that was more amused at the situation. He could see that these bandits were unlikely to be experienced all that much. The lack of significant equipment, very little stories being banded about the group, even their behavior was rather amateurish. The bandits came after him one by one, bearing those clubs of solid oak wood. They swung at him as he nonchalantly dodges just by shifting his weight side to side. His body swaying rigidly out of harm. An attempted head shot went wide as Kai bent backwards sending his hips thrusting out. It was perfection of the body, the wolf's every muscle burning to keep him out of harm's way. His balance flickering from stance to stance, every pose an absolute avoidance of damage and a instant of magnificence of flesh in motion. "Is that all?" He said, a smile with more teeth than necessary flashed out of his mouth.

The wolf had had enough of letting the bandits trying to hit him and now it was his turn. "You're really going to be feeling this" His fist flies out the limb blurring into crimson light. "Crimson Fist Flash!" Kai shouts his eyes glints. His punches continues to blur into a bright red glow as one by one the bandits suffer. The points of impact caving in on themselves. Punch after punch flew out into the bandits. Each blow sending a dull jolt of pain throbbing through their bodies as they were pushed back and knocked prone. Some bounced once or twice off the ground. All the bandits were left upon the ground groaning in pain.

Kai stood there triumphant, chuckling a bit to himself at how these bandits never had a clue of how outmatched they were. He went down and ripped off the bandit group insignia that the robbers carried all on their person. As for why the group had such a thing. Crime had become more organized in the world. Bandits, thieves and other criminals dealing in non-fatal crime had a certain amount of legal protection, they would only to have to deal with a sound beating at most. In return however they had to follow a certain code of conduct and register with the world government. This state of affairs was ensured on the law enforcement and vigilante justice by paying bounties on those same criminals with a return of the tokens of the defeated registered criminals.

Kai was quite sure that he would eat well tonight considering all the bandits he managed to knock out. Even if the bounty on each member was small, it still would keep Kai warm with the knowledge that there would be pause in the banditry as the robbers crawled off to recover. Whistling, Kai made his way back onto the forest path but there yet again was rustling in the bushes. The wolf was on-guard, ready to see whatever trick these bandits would try to bring out of their sleeves.

When nothing came out of the bushes whose leaves quietly rattled against each other, Kai shuffled forward. Still keeping a wary stance up, he used his foot to part away the branches. To the wolf's surprise, instead of a normal ambush of a possible tough thug held back by the bandit there was a cowering bat of gray fur. When the open air reached the bat, he began to shiver. Kai noticed the torn fur and stiff movements of the bat's arms and legs. "Hey kid are you okay?" The wolf came closer but tensed for any trickery.

The bat unfolds from the fetal position he was in, giving the wolf a sight of a slightly swollen set of redden eyes. The bat nodded so Kai went on. "What's your name? Did those bandits hurt you?" If they had, the wolf would make sure to go back and give those bandits a few kicks for good measure. Preferably between the legs The bat shakes his head from side to side. Then he whispered, so softly that Kai's ears had to crack forward to catch one word. "Yevon."

To Kai, this was a difficult situation. He didn't know if the kid would be safe here alone in the forest. So he had taken out one bandit group, there were always other dangers wandering about. That the kid seemed harmless was just a point for what he was about to ask. "Hey do you want to come with me?" The wolf said "Or did you get split off from your folks?" The bat went back and folded in on himself. Then he nodded and went to cling to the wolf's side. Kai shrugged, it was closer than he expected but with the kid being spooked and hurt, well it wasn't too much of a problem. The two walked off further leaving the bandits groaning on the ground. The trees of the forest enveloped them.
