As I warned, submission rating has jumped to "Adult" and will stay there.

The protagonist gets processed into the new society. And it's the way they handle things are quite a bit different from anything you may know...

Chapter 2

As soon as his foot touched the floor inside, the room lit up. The room was circular, with one part of the wall devoted to a screen, like the projector screen he had watched educational films on in his science class. In the middle of the room was a plush-looking chair. He was obviously supposed to sit down. "Well, might as well," he reasoned. As he took two more steps into the room, the door closed behind him and clicked shut.

As soon as he had seated himself in the chair, the lights dimmed and the screen brightened. "Just like science class," he chuckled. A symbol appeared on the screen with a circle around it.

"Welcome to the world of Tor, traveler," a voice announced from somewhere behind him. Brian marveled at the acoustics, as it felt like someone was right behind him, talking. Before he could turn to see if there was a speaker built into the chair, the floor dropped out from beneath him. The whole room disappeared and suddenly, the only solid thing his brain could register was that he was still sitting in the chair. Around him, spheres began to form and distant little dots of light appeared. He found his breath as a light formed in the distance, flames dancing across its surface and creating light. A sun, he realized. The room had become a planetarium within moments. He could see distant stars, far beyond the size of the room, and planets drifting in slow orbits. Fast orbits actually, he corrected himself, since he could see their movement patterns visibly.

"Throughout time," the warm voice continued, "We have found many wayward souls. Each time, we reach into the in-between and bring them here, to our beautiful and prosperous world. Sadly, we would attempt to return them if we could, but even with all our technology, we have not been able to find a way to build bridges between realities. We can only catch what has been set adrift. Rather than just let these souls continue to drift aimlessly for all time, we take them in, we nurture them, and we make them a valuable part of our society. In time, they become beneficial contributors to the good of our world. We hope you will too, in time."

A planet floated in front of the chair, mixtures of blue, green, and white. It looked a little bit like Earth from this perspective, but the continental masses were different enough to not be his home planet. It began to grow in front of him and the rest of space shrank. For a moment, Brian wasn't sure if he was falling or just sitting.

"Tor, our world, is a place of peace, free from war or disease. It is also full of gentle beings." The falling sensation slowed and Brian watched as he loomed over the landscape. "Our population is noticeably different from those we've found from other worlds. There are many different species on our world, but we view ourselves as one people. Our smallest species stands around fifteen feet tall, while our largest stand around ninety feet tall. These are just two extremes though and our general population stands about forty feet tall." The world began to move, as though Brian was standing on the shoulder of one of the titans of this world. He wondered if maybe the camera they had used was. Despite the three-hundred and sixty degree view, he didn't see any "gentle" giants nearby. There was just a view of a lush valley with a river running through it.

"Our various species have rich cultures and are very diverse. We are herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores here in our world, so don't be afraid about what you'll eat while here. We'll make sure to take good care of you."

In the distance, Brian noticed there were houses. Not huts or tents, but buildings like he would have expected to see on his own world, albeit a little more rural in their look and design. Someone was standing outside one of those houses and waving at him and he fought the urge to wave back. This was a recording after all, he reminded himself.

"We make our homes in structures that are safe and sound. They protect us from the elements of our world, such as wind and rain. They are heated and cooled, depending on the inhabitant's preference and the temperatures outside. So just because it's cold outside, don't think you won't be warm here."

Brian rolled his eyes. The recording went on to talk more about the wonders of the world, but he began to tune it out. The world was just so similar in many ways to Earth. With the way they spoke English and lived like humans did, he could swear this was just a different Earth. Well, except they were animals and much, much bigger than humans. It appeared like there was a lot less pollution on the planet, judging by the clear and blue skies, but this was a recording meant to show the best of Tor. He wondered just how technologically advanced the people here were compared to Earth. He imagined giants flying past on jet packs and dismissed it as ludicrous and impractical. So far, the video had been quite immersive, but it also seemed to show beautiful landscapes and places, nothing really urban, like a city. They had to have large cities or something on the planet somewhere, he thought. It just made sense for a race advanced enough to reach into some kind of unknown space between universes to have sprawling cities where its people would gather. Yet none of that had been shown.

He suddenly snapped out of his thoughts as figures walked right in front of the camera's view for the first time. Brian knew they were both anthropomorphic canines within moments of their appearance. They were also both naked, one male and one female. Very female. Brian felt his cheeks turn red at the sight of the woman's very ponderous breasts swaying freely. Her anatomy looked very human-like from here, just covered in fur. It was easy to note the differences from an academic viewpoint, but the way her nipples stood out among the fur drew his focus in a very un-academic way.

The voice kept on going as the two figures faced the camera and began to take various poses, "All the species of our planet seem to be different from others in one major regards. We are very open about our bodies and our desires. While we do wear clothing while out in society for the sake of modesty and hygiene, we also are not afraid to show-off the bodies we have." The female wolf leaned forward and pressed her breasts together, causing them to squish. When she let go of them, they flopped out and jiggled as she began to shake her upper body. Then she turned to the male and leaned forward, cupping her hands on either side of her mouth. The male wolf leaned in, tilting his head towards her cupped hand, then he nodded his head. "It's not uncommon for a female to proposition a male or vice-versa in public. There is no shyness in our lusts. We believe it's a very natural function of being alive and very pleasurable. We are very open to inter-species relations as well."

As Brian watched, the female turned her voluminous rear end towards the male and lifted her tail while placing two fingers down between her legs. While not biologically possible, Brian was sure he had just turned an even brighter shade of red. He placed both his hands over his pants, embarrassed to be watching what he felt was his very first pornographic film.

Without any preamble, the male grabbed the female's hips, running his hands up and down her sides, then he entered her. As Brian watched, they went at it right on camera. There wasn't any sound, but the female's head tilted up in what looked like a howl and the male's tongue was hanging out in pleasure. The voice rolled onwards, "We understand that other worlds and species don't feel the same way as ours does, but we show you this to prepare you for what is to come. You could be walking on our world and one of our women or men might ask you if you'd be interested in sex without any prior suggestion or hints. They may compliment you on some part of your anatomy they admire, but please don't take offense. It's how our society has developed. And don't be afraid to stare, we love it when you do. It just means we are attractive to you."

Brian knew his mouth was hanging open in a big 'O', but he couldn't close it. He knew the basics of biology and how sex worked. From an educated viewpoint, he understood the whole process and the point in it. Not just from the reproductive standpoint, but from the way it released endorphins and allowed for pleasure. He had once even snuck online to find a few photos of naked women, but his parents had later found out and ensured he never could do it again. But this... This was something much more. It was sex, visceral and powerful and right in front of him. He could swear the female wolf opened one eye to make sure he was watching before thrusting her hips back against the male wolf.

"Even with size differences, sometimes our women and men want what they want. So even if you're smaller than our species, don't worry. We may still want you inside us. That being said, if you approach one of us and you're turned down, please be polite about it. Sometimes it's just not the right time for it."

The camera turned away from the humping couple and began to move away. Brian found that he was breathing heavily and his palms were sweaty. He began to slowly bring his body back under control, but it wasn't easy. Just the thought of the way... He stopped himself. Now wasn't the time to give in to base thoughts, he determined. Even if those base thoughts were unbelievably attractive. The girls at his school had never looked like that. Oh, sure, the wolfess had a muzzle and ears, but her body had been magnificent. It wasn't hard to get past the fur to see the curves and shapes. Plus, it wasn't like she had looked like a hairy woman; it had seemed very natural the way it all came together. He took another calming breath and pushed it all away for the moment.

"Now that you have a general idea about our world, traveler, we finish with this. Tor is a wonderful world, but we don't accept citizens who aren't willing to contribute to the greater good. As you are new to our world, we will give you a temporary citizenship. You will have a three week assessment period to find a way that you can contribute to the good of our world. Please take this time to figure out what you can do and you will be assessed at the end of this period. If you have not found something to add, your citizenship will be revoked and you will lose the privileges of being a protected citizen. Don't worry though, we just want to make sure you have something to do and can earn your keep on our world."

There was a pause, "While you're a temporary citizen, you will be given a sponsor. Our sponsors are highly-trained professionals who will take care of you while you find your way in our world. They are loving and caring individuals who will assist you in adapting to how our world works. So please work with them and listen to them as they help you start your new life on Tor!" Brian wished that female wolf was his sponsor. He quickly buried that thought.

"If you will please stand-up, Immigrations services will now receive you and help us find the right sponsor for you. Thank you and welcome to Tor!"

Immigration services. Brian's mind had conjured up an image of an airport, crowded as people tried to get through counters where they stamp your forms and then let you pass. Instead, a door opened to another room, similar to the one he had been in. There was a plush chair in the middle of the room, but this one had a desk and a thin computer screen on it. The door closed behind him slowly. Brian jokingly pondered if the world of Tor really existed or if it was all just an illusion since he hadn't seen anything real, just images so far. He slid into the comfortable seat and looked at the screen, expecting some kind of keyboard that he would use to answer a series of questions. There was no keyboard and the screen had two side-by-side horizontal black lines on it.

"Um," Brian began, looking around the room. "What am I supposed to do...?"

There was a soft male voice, "Give me a minute, please. Sheesh...can't a guy even rest his eyes a little?" Brian looked around, but didn't see anyone. He turned his attention to the screen and found two digital eyes looking back at him. They blinked a few times. Not just the blink of a screen flickering, but they closed back into horizontal lines and then opened up again. Brian was held in thrall.

"Sorry about that, kid. I will be your representative for Immigration services, my name is Mont, but my friends call me Monty."

"Um, nice to meet you, Monty," Brian replied hesitantly. "How does an artificial intelligence have friends? Other AI's?" Brian's curiosity was piqued.

"Oh, no, no," the voice answered, digital eyes opening back up. "I'm not an artificial intelligence. I'm actually a person working in the Immigration services center. Most newcomers to our planet are still kinda in awe of our size by this point and have trouble answering questions and not just staring at us with their mouths open. We find it's easier to use screens with digital faces to interact at first."

"What about the giant bird that greeted me when I first got here?"

"Old Goldie? Eh, he's just there to greet you and give you a bit of perspective on our people so it's less of a shock later on. It takes time to sink in, but you'll realize that you're about to enter a world of veritable giants. Though to us, you're just small. Don't worry, we won't step on you. Not on purpose anyways." Brian's had a mental image of a giant foot coming down on top of him and shuddered. "Anyways, can I get your full name, please?"

"It's Brian Thayer."

"Alright, Brian. May I ask how old you are in your own terms?"

"I'm 16 years old. I turn 17 in two months."

"Good, good. Are you a male or female?"

"What? I'm a male, of course."

"Hey, you can never assume," Monty shot back. "Just because you sound like a male to us doesn't mean you are. It's our job to make sure of these things for your temporary citizenship form."

"I guess that's a fair point," Brian admitted.

"What's your sexual orientation?"

"Excuse me," Brian exclaimed. "That's not even close to a fair question!"

The digital eyes rolled, "Work with me on this one, kid. I don't make-up these questions, I just ask them."

"I'm straight, thank you."

"What kind of foods do you normally eat?"

"Uh...that's a broad question. I'm an omnivore, if that's what you're going after."

"There will probably be a testing period," the voice warned him. "We don't want you to get sick from the foods we eat here."

"I guess I just assumed I could eat what you guys eat," Brian mumbled.

"Most species seem to be able to eat what we eat," Monty granted. "We just have to be careful as there are always different biological builds out there. Does your species sleep six to eight hours at night?"

"Um, yes."

"Will you need any special assistance in your daily activities that we should know about?"

"That's a no."

"Do you understand what a crime is and have you ever committed one on your own world prior to arriving on Tor?"

"How do you know I won't lie about that," Brian objected.

"We're monitoring you right now, kid. We know when you're not telling the truth. We're just that good."

"And slightly egotistical," he noted. "But yes, I know what a crime is and no, I'm not a criminal."

"Truth. Good to see. Have you any job expertise that we should know about?"

"Not really, I was just a student back home."

"Okay. Would you please remove all your clothing and place them in the sanitation bin that is going to appear in just a moment next to you."

"Uh...what?" Brian had no intention of getting naked in front of someone else, even if they were behind a computer screen. Or whatever its equivalent was here.

"It will be returned to you in a minute," Monty reassured him. "Will that be a problem?"

"I'm not going to strip down."

"Oh, you're a modest species, got it. If you like, I'll turn the screen off so I can't see anything. But we do have to decontaminate you before we allow you out into our environment. We can't have any germs or diseases allowed from other worlds here."

The human boy thought about it carefully. It did make sense that they wouldn't like some disease from a foreign world to enter theirs. After all, their immune systems wouldn't be able to fight something like the common cold, which his body was perfectly used to dealing with. "Fine," Brian sighed. "Please turn off the screen though. I'd feel better about it that way."

"It's not a problem, kid." The screen went black. "I'm bringing out the sanitation bin. Deposit your clothing into it and don't fall in."

A small pipe slid out of the floor next to the desk. "This...this is logical," he reassured himself. "This makes sense." Brian sighed, "So why does it feel so awkward?" He quietly let all the events of the day slide off his shoulders and focused on the reality of things. He was now on a foreign world with foreign creatures. He was from another world then they were. His clothing and probably his body needed to be cleaned. The math added up.

He pulled his shirt off and threw it into the pipe. There was a quiet 'shlup' sound and it was gone. He repeated the logic to himself as he pulled his shoes and socks off and let them fall into the pipe as well. With each piece of clothing gone, he felt a little more of his confidence erode and his logic started to seem faulty somewhere. Finally, he pulled his pants off and dropped them in, leaving him standing in just his boxers. He took a deep breath, then slid them off too. He stepped out of them and stood nude in a world that he didn't quite understand yet. He vowed that he would understand it fully before he let go of his boxers.

"I'm...uh...I'm done. Please keep the screen off though, Monty."

"Thank you for complying." The screen remained dark, but the pipe slid out of sight. The place it had come from closed with no visible seams. "Before we start the decontamination process, there are two more things we need from you to complete the Immigration process."

"Okay," Brian hesitantly said.

"We need a urine and semen sample for analysis." It was said so matter-of-factly, but Brian felt like he was being pushed under a giant microscope. Worse, he was naked under that giant microscope. He wondered if this is what an amoeba felt like, if one could ever feel complex emotions.

"How...umm..."

"A urine collection dish is now appearing in the room. If you need fluids to rehydrate yourself, we can offer those."

"No, I'm...I'm good."

The voice on the other end suddenly took a more gentle tone, "Hey kid, sorry about this. It's just part of the process here. I won't disturb you; just let me know when you're done with the first one." A large urinal slid down out of one of the walls. Brian could've sworn the door had been right there, but the whole circle appearance made it hard to be sure.

He steeled himself and stepped over to the receptacle. He'd been able to pee in a bathroom at school; this should be just as easy. At least, that's what his brain was telling him. His heart was thudding at least twice as fast as his resting heart rate and he was breathing heavily. He repeated his mantra of logic and tried to relieve himself. It took a minute for his body to relax enough, but he completed the first task.

"Okay...Monty," Brian said shakily. "First part done."

The urinal slid away. "Good job, kid. For the semen sample, we've got a wide variety of images for you to look through. The chair is going to fold out in just a moment. When it does, you'll find a collection hole that you can stick your reproductive organ into, it will adjust to your dimensions and help to simulate a sexual response. When you finish up, let me know and you're done. I promise you'll have privacy the entire time."

The computer screen lit up and as Brian watched, the back of the plush chair folded back, creating a couch with a hump in the middle of it. On the hump was an obvious hole. "Oh man," he muttered. He slowly walked up to the screen and found a nude image of what looked to be a feline of some sort. On the screen, she looked like she was his size, but he hadn't forgotten for a moment that these people were all giants. Anthropomorphic animal giants. As his mind tried to think of better description words to distract him from the task at hand, the image on the screen began to move, stopping all other thought. The feline was thrusting her hips against the screen in a very sexual motion.

It was...odd. He knew it was a cat, in essence. He understood zoophilia, but no animal had ever really held any attraction for him. There was one girl in his class who had matured rather quickly, but she was one of the popular girls and he was just the class 'brain' or tutor. Still, once when he had helped her, she had brushed the side of a breast against his arm. It had been a very intimate moment in his mind, but only for him. He was fairly certain she had done it on purpose, using her body as a means to get him to help her. Despite not really thinking on it too often, he knew that human women had held his interests. Yet here, in front of him, was a human-like woman, humping the screen. Brian shook his head and touched the screen.

The image changed away from the feline to an animal with much longer ears. A rabbit, judging by how one ear was folded over her eyes. And...were...those glasses? Unlike the feline, the rabbit looked more demure in her nudity, covered her breasts with one arm and her nether area with her other. She wasn't looking directly at him, but her eyes did seem to glance up at him occasionally, smiling a little each time and seeming to blush . Brian felt the blood rush to one part of his body, fur be damned. She was beautiful. Just like the wolf and the cat, her body was human-like in most regards. The major differences seemed to be her face, ears, and feet. That and the fur, his mind quickly added. As he watched, her fingers splayed open, showing the forbidden fruit. She then covered herself again.

Brian wasn't sure how long he had been watching the rabbit, but he reached out and tapped the screen again. The next image was a bovine, with a very large bosom with little fur on it. Those were her udders, he realized, though she only had a single nipple on each. The rest of her body still held the typical white fur with black splotches. He felt his member throb at the sight. It still felt a little weird to be staring at naked women, but the feeling was slowly ebbing away with each image. His eyes darted back and forth, unconsciously checking to see if anyone was watching him as he hit the next image.

His breath was quickly stolen as a wolf filled the screen. This wasn't the same one that had been in the video, but she too was gorgeous. She had more curves to her body and less of the thin look that the other wolf had. She dragged her hands over her body slowly, holding one breast up to lick at it. Brian felt his entire body go rigid at the sight.

He slowly backed up to the chair and got on it, sliding his shaft into the hole. It quickly pulsed against his member. He began to thrust into it with no inhibitions about the species whatsoever.

When he was done, Brian felt drained, but in a good way he wasn't used to. He understood the concept of intercourse and why it felt him drained afterwards, but knowing and experiencing were two entirely different beasts. He pulled out and stepped back, "Uh...Monty? I'm...uh...done."

No response, but a door opened on the side of the room. Through it, he saw his clothing, hanging up against the wall in a small cubicle. He almost sprinted out to grab his boxers and throw them back on. He had never thought of boxers as a sort of safety net, but he felt so good wearing them again. He continued to dress as the door closed behind him. When he finished, another door opened. This one had a bright light streaming through it, like natural sunlight.

"Go on through, kid," Monty's voice came from overhead. "Your sponsor has been notified and will be here shortly. She'll take over from here."

"She," Brian asked, stepping out into the light. There was no response. He held his hand over his eyes as the sunlight hit them. Fluorescent light had a certain brightness to it that stayed even when you blinked, but it felt far too white. The sunlight felt warm against his face and Brian basked in it.

As his eyes adjusted, he took in his surroundings. In front of him were rows of benches, each one a slightly different size, some larger and some smaller. Beyond that, the landscape was green; the kind of green one might see at some kind of a vacation getaway. It grew longer here than on Earth judging by the way a slight breeze moved it, but it looked like it would only come up to his ankles. There was a road or a path of some kind that ran next to the last benches, heading to parts beyond his current point of perception. It was a wide path, easily bigger than the streets back home. It seemed reasonable for something like a giant walk on. He guessed two of them could walk side-by-side and not touch, judging by the eagle he had seen earlier.

Brian turned around to see where he had come out. The building behind him looked like it was made of concrete and it towered far beyond his current position's reasoning. Even taking a few steps back, it seemed to go up forever. Thankfully, the sun was on this side of the building, so there was no cold shadow cast at the moment. In the side of the building were three doors, each blue and different sizes, same as earlier. He had just walked out of the smallest door.

Curious to see what he should do next, Brian looked around to see if there were any signs or arrows, but he couldn't spot anything like that. Seeing nothing else to do, he sat down on one of the benches that fit his size. As he sat, he felt something odd poke his hip. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a thin card, which was a goldish-hue. Engraved in it was his name, age, and the words, "Temporary Citizen as of..." There were a series of numbers that made no sense to him, but he assumed they were the dating system they used here. He flipped it over, but the back was bare. With a shrug, he deposited it back into his pocket. It seemed important and he didn't want to lose it.

The skies were blue and the clouds seemed far away. Maybe they were, he silently wondered, realizing that many things he took for granted, like how high layers of a planet's atmosphere stretched, were no longer true. He wanted to explore, to roll in the grass just to see if it felt like grass back home or something different, and to see just how far that road went... But he also didn't want to wander just yet, seeing as someone was supposed to be along soon to meet him. Plus it seemed incredibly impolite to not be there to his sponsor when she arrived. He lay back on the bench and imagined that a she-wolf would come along and pick him up. As he lay there on the bench, his eyes began to close in the warm sun. He drifted away quickly, his body exhausted from everything. As he slept, he felt himself flying for a moment, and then nestled against something warm and soft. It was a wonderful dream.
