Chapter 4: The Hike

By Alpha Spirit Wolf and Sci the Cheetah

Tristan yawned lightly as he opened his eyes the next morning. He sat up and stretched out a bit looking over to the feline's side of the bed. The canine tilted his head seeing that Jake wasn't sleeping on his side, 'I wonder where he went...?' He got up and walked over to the door opening it, "Jake?"

"Shit...kitchen, Tris." The snow leopard softly called out. His voice was a loud whisper which was probably the same volume as him talking regularly, but the tone was softer so that it wouldn't wake Liz or her dingo.

The husky walked out into the kitchen and tilted his head sitting at the table, "What are you doing up so early?"

"I'm making a special breakfast just for Liz," Jake said with a bit of a giggle. He flipped the eggs and caught them back in the pan where they begun to sizzle.

"A 'special' breakfast for Liz?" He thought about last night and then nodded lightly putting his ears down to his head, "What exactly did you put in it?"

"Just some mouth dye. After what she pulled on me last year, I made sure to bring some to get back at her if she pulled anything this year," Jake said as he put the eggs onto a plate next to three other plates. The plate with Liz's eggs was blue. The other three were yellow, red, and green. "Mind helping me get these to the table?"

Tristan got up and went over and helped put the plates on the table. He had both the dingo's and Liz's plates as he placed them in there respective places at the table, "Why are the plates different colors?"

"That way Liz can't switch the plates when we're not looking. Just in case she catches on," Jake said before he went over to Liz's room with a pan in one hand and a metal spoon in the other. "Coming?"

"Um, no... I'll sit this one out... but..." He looks down to himself and blushed, "I need to go get something on." He got up and walked back into the bedroom.

The snow leopard giggled a bit. "Suit yourself," he said as he walked into Liz's room. Moments later, a loud banging could be heard.

Liz, still naked from the night before jumped out of bed and fell onto the floor. She blinked a few times and looked around. She saw Jake standing there with a frying pan and a metal spoon and screamed. "Jake! Get out of here!"

"Just letting you know that breakfast is ready," the feline said before leaving the room. He went back into his bedroom to put some pants over his briefs. "You hear that, Hun?"

Tristan twitched his ears as he heard the frying pan in the other bedroom and then the surprised yelling that went off after. He laughed lightly to himself as he shook his head getting his jeans on and buttoning them up. He heard Jake enter as he placed a shirt on and looked at him hearing what he said, "Of course... why wouldn't I? The whole lake could hear." He smiled being a little sarcastic.

Jake laughed a bit as he pulled his pants up. He then went out to the dining room where Liz and Steve were. "Before you sit down and randomly start eating I made each one specific to how we all like them. Red is mine, Green is for Tris, Yellow is for Steve, and Blue is for Liz. Steve, your eggs are plain since I didn't know how you liked them."

"That's just how I like them. I don't like spices or anything," Steve said as he sat down and started to eat. Liz eyed Jake carefully as she watched him sit down and start eating as well.

The husky followed Jake into the dinning room and listened to what Jake had to say. He shrugged lightly and sat down at his plate and began to eat quietly.

Jake had a knack for keeping a straight face. He looked up from his food as he watch Liz sigh and start to eat her food. He knew she wouldn't notice anything wrong with the food itself. That was the best part about the mouth dye that he had bought. It didn't change colors until it mixed with saliva.

They all ate silently, only the slight clanging of fork to plate as they ate. Finally, Liz finished her meal and sighed happily. "That was great," she said as she patted her belly. "So, no hard feelings about last night?" Jake looked up and did his best not to giggle as she talked.

Tristan looked up to her and bit his lip lightly making himself not laugh. He quickly looked down and ate a little more to calm himself, "I just have one question, why would you do something like that?"

"It was just for fun," Liz said. "I didn't mean any harm by it. But now you two have to....what is so funny?"

Jake couldn't hold in his laugh any longer. "N-Nothing...c-continue," he said as he wiped away some tears and began to calm down a bit.

Liz growled a bit but ignored the crazy feline. "Anyways, you two have to tell me how you two hooked up. I thought Tristan here was a homophobe."

The husky continued to eat a little and was in a lot more control than Jake was as he looked up to Liz, "I still am, still don't like them very much, due to what happened to me when I was younger, but Jake proved to me this last year that he could be trusted. Yes, I didn't know he was gay until a few days ago and I reacted to it. But I remembered his kindness to me. That's what stopped me and got me to thinking about my own feelings and self."

"Maybe it's time you told her what happened, Hun," Jake said. He gently reached over and placed his paw on the husky's and smiled at the canine.

Liz looked down at their paws and then back up to Tristan. She winced at hearing Jake call Tristan "Hun" but she would get used to it. "I really would like to know," she said with a sincere blue smile.

Tristan looked to Jake and nodded lightly. He sighed lightly and told both Steve and Liz about what happened to him when he was younger. He finished with another sigh, "...And that's why I'm the way I am now."

Liz sat there in silence while she listened to Tristan's story. "I...I see...Look, Tristan...well...there's nothing much I can say that would help. So...I guess I won't really say anything about it. But I am glad you told me."

"Steve, you're awfully quiet," Jake said.

Just then Steve burst out laughing. "I-I'm sorry Liz...but your mouth is blue," he said. Liz quickly got up and rushed to the bathroom.

Jake giggled a bit before noticing the clock. "Shit, we've got to go. The others will be at the hiking trail shortly and I don't want them to leave without us," the feline said as he collected up the plates and put them in the sink. "Let's pack up some snacks and get going."

Tristan tilted his head and looked at the leopard, "What are you talking about?"

"We're going on a hike today. Didn't I tell you?" Jake asked.

The husky looked up and thought about it for a moment and then looked down to Jake shaking his head, "First time I heard about it."

"Oops. I'm sorry, Hun. But we need to hurry up and get ready," Jake said as he pulled out some chip packs. He grabbed one of the backpacks that was above the fridge and put the snacks into the bag. He then grabbed some sodas and stuck them in the bag too.

Meanwhile, Steve had gone back to Liz's room to get dressed and check up on Liz.

The husky was still sitting at the table thinking and watching the leopard, "Jake, when were you going to tell Liz?"

"I wasn't. She would have found out on her own if Steve hadn't told her. That stuff will last all day," Jake said as he went over to his husky and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.

Tristan shook his head and shrugged lightly kissing the feline back, "You're too much, Hun. I'll make sure to remember not to get on your bad side."

Jake giggled a bit. "Rawr," he said jokingly before kissing the husky a bit deeper as he straddled him and wrapped his arms around the canine's neck.

The husky murred and kissed Jake back deeper for a few moments and then broke it, "Is this the best place or time to do this?"

"Of course. I want to see Liz's reaction when she sees us kissing," Jake said as he nuzzled into Tristan a bit.

"Not to be a person to ruin your fun, but do you think your taking this a little too far?"

"Well, it's not a secret anymore so why are you so worried? It's not like anyone from our school will find out."

"I guess..." Tristan had his ears pinned, "I'm just a little scared that's all..."

Jake smiled and kissed Tristan's forehead. "You never have to be scared. I'll always be here to support you." The feline got off of the husky's lap and he went back into the master bedroom to go brush his teeth.

The husky nodded and sighed lightly placing his elbow on the table and leaning on his paw, "Sure..."

Jake came back a few minutes later. "Have the other two come out yet?"

Tristan shook his head.

Jake sighed as he went over to Liz's room. Just as he was about to open the door, the door opened and the two came out. "You two ready?"

"Yeah," Liz said. The three walked out to the dining room.

"Alright, let's go," Jake said to his husky with a smile.

"I'm ready." He shrugged lightly and followed everyone out of the cabin.

* * *

After they left the cabin, the four went down to the beach and over to the hiking trail where they were to meet the others, however, the other three hadn't arrived yet.

Tristan walked along side Jake looking around himself as he past by the lake and other furs that were out this early. He smiled lightly getting a whiff of the fresh lake air as he closed his eyes enjoying it. He opened them after a moment and looked over to the feline beside him as he reached down and took his paw into his own. He really didn't care any more that it was out anyway.

Jake had been just fine with walking next to Tristan, but when the husky grabbed his paw, his entire face turned red as he interlocked his fingers with his canine companion's. He looked up at the muscular dog and smiled.

The husky smiled back at him and tightened the interlocked fingers a little. He placed his other paw into his jean pocket and looked around again seeing what Liz and Steve were up in front of them.

Jake began to purr slightly as he tried to calm down to get his blush to go away. Of course, it wasn't working and his face was still beet red as they approached the others by the hiking trail.

Tristan stopped with Jake and looked up the trail as for as he could see, "So, we're hiking up there?" He looked over to Liz and Steve as he saw them sitting down for a bit of breather.

Jake giggled a little bit. "Yeah. Of course, I'm not sure if those two are gonna last. The hike I mean."

"I'm..." Steve panted lightly, "...a writer, not an outdoor person."

The husky chuckled a bit and shook his head, "It was just from the cabin to the hiking trail and your already tired Steve?"

Steve panted a bit and pointed a finger at the husky. It looked like he was about to explain himself when he let out a big pant and said, "Shut up."

The husky just shrugged and chuckled a little more as he twitched his ears lightly. He looked in back of them and saw three furs coming their way.

"About time they got here," Liz said grumpily.

"Don't be upset that I painted your mouth blue. You should have expected something like this when you did what you did last night,"

"Who's mouth got painted blue?" Terri asked as he approached the four of them.

Liz growled a bit and sighed as she opened her maw.

Max and Daniel were right in back of Terri holding paws as they heard Jake. They looked over to Liz and started to laugh together lightly. Max took his paw away from the rabbits and went over to Jake placing that same paw on the felines shoulder, "Why'd you do that?"

Tristan blinked lightly, but stayed quiet. He didn't know exactly what Jake would answer to that.

"Because she took a picture of me having sex with the love of my life last night. I think it was rightfully deserved. And I got a picture of her naked for when she did that to me last year," Jake said with a bit of a smug grin. He rarely got proud of himself, but this was one of those times where he couldn't help but be proud.

Terri fell to the ground laughing. "That's great. Aw man. So, why didn't you bring this love of your life with you today?"

"He did," she said as she leaned into Steve.

The wolf looked down to the felines and the husky's paws and understood who it was, "Ah... I see now." Max patted Jake on the shoulder lightly but didn't say anything else. He went back over to the back of his bunny and wrapped his arms around him.

Daniel murred lightly and closed his eyes for a minute just loving the embrace.

Tristan blushed so hard when he watched the wolf's expression. He was, however, surprised he didn't make a big fuss over it. He new that Terri was going to say something though as he looked over to him.

Terri giggled a bit. "You definitely picked a good looking guy," the ferret said.

Jake tilted his head a bit. "Me or him?"

"Both. I'm happy for the two of you and if you're ever up to have some fun, just let me know."

"Uh...as much as that would be fun, I don't think that's going to happen this year," Jake said nervously.

The husky didn't say anything as he put up his paw to the top of his head and scratches it lightly.

The rabbit looked to Terri, "Alright, that's enough out of you..."

"Yeah man, ease up... I know you liked Jake last year but he has someone else that's more cuter."

Tristan blinked and looked over to the wolf and rabbit growling just a bit as he tightened his grip on Jake's paw.

Jake yipped slightly as he felt Tristan's paw. "Hey, calm down, Hun. It was a compliment. Now behave or else," the snow leopard said as he began to squeeze back.

Tristan looked down to the feline and then nodded placing his ears and his head down for a bit, "Sorry, you know I'm not used to it yet."

Max and Daniel laughed not knowing what was going on with Tristan. Max looked up the trail, "Well, is everyone ready?"

Everyone nodded and they began on their way. After ten minutes, Steve had to stop. They stopped for a few minutes and then Steve decided that he needed to go back and he and Liz went back on their own.

Jake looked up at Tristan with a worried look. The husky was now stuck with four gay guys and no girls or straight guys to help him out. "You gonna be alright, Hun?" he whispered.

Tristan watched as Liz and Steve went their separate ways and then looked down to the ground. He sighed and thought it over a bit and nodded, "I'll survive..."

Jake smiled slightly before they continued on, not realizing the ferret had been dropping back to the two of them.

"So, when did the two of you get together? I'm asking only as a friend," Terri asked.

Tristan looked over to the ferret and sighed lightly, "It was a couple days ago..."

"But we didn't officially get together till last night, before the bon fire," Jake added as he smiled up at the husky and gently gripped the paw a little tighter. But as he was looking up at the husky, he didn't notice the tree root in his path and tripped over it.

The husky felt a little tug on his arm as the feline tripped. He tilted his head as he kind of caught him in mid air before Jake touched the ground. The only part that was on the ground was only his knees, "You okay, Hun?"

Jake gasped in amazement as he was caught by the husky. "Did you just call me ‘Hun'?" The feline jumped up and hugged the husky tight. "You have no idea how happy that makes me."

Tristan blushed lightly and barely hugged the feline back, "I've called you that before..."

Now it was Jake's turn to blush as he released his boyfriend from the hug. "Y-You have? I guess it just didn't click till just now."

Max and Daniel looked over and walked back over. Daniel tilted his head, "You okay Jake?"

"Y-Yeah....I'm great...Just had a bit of a slip, but everything is okay. Let's continue," the feline said as he gripped Tristan's paw gently.

Daniel nodded and smiled as he looked at his wolf gripping his mates paw lightly.

Max smiled back and pulled gently looking over to Terri tilting his head, "Why you so quiet?"

Tristan looked over to Terri wondering the same thing. He's usually so talkative and active.

"No reason. I'm just admiring all the love in the air. It really gets me excited about finding someone who will love me like that some day," Terri giggled a bit as he shuddered at the thought.

Max looked to his rabbit and thought. He then looked back to Terri, "I'm sure you will. Your a slut anyway..." The wolf chuckled lightly, "So it would be easy for you."

Tristan got a laugh out of that one as he couldn't help but agreeing with him.

"Will you shut up? How am I ever supposed to get in bed with these two if you keep telling them that?" Terri asked jokingly before they began on their way again.

"That just proved his point," Daniel smiled as he gripped the wolf's paw tighter as well as they started to walk.

"You two didn't seem to mind when you were fucking me from both ends last night," Terri said. He giggled a bit.

Max looked over his shoulder to the ferret, "Yeah well, that was different... it was last night Terri..."

Tristan shivered lightly thinking about that one, "Did I really have to know that?"

"Hun, they are just kidding a bit. Guys, you've got to remember that Tristan is still a bit of a homophobe, can you please keep that talk down to a minimum please?" Jake said as he rubbed Tristan's paw.

Max placed his ears down and looked down to the ground, "Sorry... blame Terri... he started it..."

"I'm not going to blame anyone. Let's just keep going and have a nice hike. Right, Tris?"

Tristan looked to Jake and nodded lightly.

The wolf bit his lip and said nothing else.

They all walked for a short while not really saying much. All they were doing was looking around and enjoying the feel of nature as they walked passed. Max gripped his rabbit's paw and smiled lightly as Terri stopped every now and then to observe things here and there. Tristan sighed as he gripped Jake paw and smiled as they walked into a clearing, "Maybe we should rest a little here. Is that okay with everyone?"

Max and Daniel nodded and smiled as they both sat on a nearby log.

Jake smiled as he sat down on a log himself and pulled out a few snacks. "You guys want some?" he asked the others.

Tristan nodded as he sat down next to the feline. Max and Daniel nodded and came a bit closer. Terri on the other hand didn't want anything. "I'm fine, but thanks for offering," he said as he sat down on another nearby log. He smiled as he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, sighing happily as he smelled the fresh scent of nature.

"Alright, well, just help yourselves, but don't eat too much. I need to go take a leak. And I don't want anyone to peek," Jake said as he got up and began going into the woods a little bit.

The Husky looked after him a bit and nodded as he began to eat.

Danial nodded as he got up and sat on Max's lap eating.

Max giggled and wrapped his arms around the rabbit as he paced his head on his shoulder.

Jake sighed as he went out so that he couldn't see the others and went behind a bush and began to pee. As he was urinating, he noticed a small rock formation. Once he zipped up his pants, he went over to it and noticed a cave. He then pulled out his cell phone and noticed that he did have a signal and he dialed up Tristan, hoping that the husky brought his cell phone with him.

Tristan felt his cell vibrate in the back of his pants. He tilted his head and got it out of his pocket and looked at who was calling him. He narrowed his eyes a bit and flipped the cell open and placed it too his ear, "Jake...?"

Max and Daniel stopped talking among themselves and looked over as well as Terri.

"Hey, I found this really cool cave. Just come in the direction I came and I'll be able to spot you. You guys have to see this," Jake said.

"Mmm, okay... We'll be right there." Tristan shut his phone and placed it back into his pack pocket.

Daniel blinked, "What happened?"

Tristan looked to him, then the wolf, then the ferret, "It sounds like Jake found a cave near here. He said to follow the way he went and he'll meet us halfway."

Jake giggled as he hung up the phone and began to head back to where he took a piss and began to head back towards the others.

All four of them started off towards where the saw Jake enter the woods.

Soon enough, Jake saw them heading towards him. "Hey guys!" he yelled out with excitement.

The husky twitched his ears as he stopped for a bit to look around and saw the feline come up to him and the others, "What's this about a cave?" The other three stopped and wondered the same thing.

"I don't know what it is. But I know that it's not in any of the area's maps and there's nothing about any caves on any of the sites about the lake and the surrounding area. Follow me," Jake said as began to head back towards the cave, arriving at it a few minutes later.

Tristan and the others followed the feline until they saw it and stopped just near the entrance. The husky tilt his head and walked a little bit more and peeked inside, "Huh, really weird."

"I just happened to bring flashlights. They were here in case we ended up staying out past dark, but they work just fine in caves. You guys want to go in?" Jake said. He was extremely excited and his fluffy tail showed it.

"Um, Jake...why's your tail all fluffed up and everything?" Terri asked curiously.

"It gets like that when Jake is excited about something like this." Tristan smiled as he walked over and placed his paw on Jakes head ruffling it a bit.

Jake giggled a bit and murred as his head got rubbed. "So, are we going in or not?"

Daniel walked a little closer and peered inside a bit. He turned on his flashlight and tilted his head a little not really seeing anything from where he was, "It's so dark in there. My flashlight only goes so far..."

Tristan looked around and saw an old sign next to the entrance. It was covered in moss but he cleaned it off little by little and read it out loud, "Beware to anyone who enters this sanctuary, you have been warned. Keep out!"

Max tilted his head, "That doesn't sound too good..."

"What? You guys are afraid of a sign? This is sanctuary. That means it's supposed to be a safe haven. I'm going in. If you guys want to stay here, that's fine, but I want to know what's inside," Jake said as he began to go into the cave.

Daniel watched Jake and shook his head little, "I think I'll stay out here..."

Max went over the rabbit and smiled, "I'll stay with him..." He looked over too Terri and Tristan, "You going?"

Tristan nodded, "Yeah I'm pretty interested in what this is."

"I think I'll go with them and leave you two to your yiffing," Terri said, giggling slightly and giving them a wink.

Tristan went over to the ferret and slapped him upside the head, "That can become worse you know..." He rolled his eyes and turned on his flashlight and followed Jake inside the cave.

Max and Daniel giggled lightly, "Terri, you really got to work on keeping that big mouth of yours shut, otherwise that's not the last time someone's going to slap you."

"I certainly hope not," Terri said as he giggled. He and Tristan quickly caught up to Jake and the three continued further in.

Tristan looked around the cave when he caught up to the feline pointing his flashlight this way and that way, "I wonder how far this place goes?"

Jake giggled a bit as he gently grasped the husky's paw. "I wonder too. Any idea what's down here?"

"Well, you know there was the legend about the missing graveyard or whatever. I never really paid attention to the full story. I mostly just paid attention to the snow kitty getting scared out of his mind," Terri said, earning him a slap from the snow leopard.

Tristan ignored that comment and continued to walk deeper into the cave. He tilted his head as they came to what seemed like a huge room. The husky stopped at a railing and pointed his flashlight down to the ground, "You know, I think that Legend might be true..." He placed his ears down as he pointed his flashlight at several tombstones.

Jake shone the flashlight around the room until he saw something shine. He then went and continued to shine it on that spot and began to go down some steps towards it. It was a mirror and right in front of it was a small curved alcove big enough for a candle. The inside was a mirror as well to act similarly to how a flashlight works. Jake stuck the flashlight in the alcove and the room brightened to a small extent as the mirrors began to reflect and light up the room a bit. However, it was only enough to see the dim shapes of his companions.

"I'm going to look around a bit," he said as he began to go a little further down the steps, making sure that he still was able to see.

Tristan looked around himself and tilted his head to the site of the room. he shook his head, "I've never seen anything like this before..." The husky started down the steps after the leopard and looked around pointing his flashlight to see a little more better though the room was dim.

Jake looked around as the stairs seemed to go on forever and yet the light never seemed to get any darker. He turned around and couldn't see anything so he started back up the steps. But now he couldn't even see the originating light any more. He began to run up the steps, but everything looked the same. "Guys?" he called out.

The husky continued down the stairs and thinks a bit turning to Terri, "Hey, are you-" He stopped and tilted his head a bit as he lifted his flashlight up the stairs. The ferret was gone and all he could see was endless stairs all the way to blackness, "Terri?" Tristan started up the stairs to see if he could reach a landing, "Come on this isn't funny..."

Jake whimpered as he continued to run up the stairs. "Terri? Tris? Where are you guys?" Finally, a bright light appeared in front of him and he gasped as he ran into it, holding his arms in front of his face as he did.

Tristan thought again and looked down the stairs showing his flashlight as far as he could, "Jake? God dammit guys... if this is a joke, I'm not buying it." He looked up the stairs with his light and then down them, nothing, "Fuck..." he sat down and started to think. He wasn't even a minute into thinking before the stairs disappeared beneath him and he started to fall into total blackness, "What the hell is..." He than saw a light coming fast towards him and he closed and shielded his eyes from it.

Jake slowly opened his eyes and looked around. He tried to speak, but found a gag in his mouth. He also noticed that he wasn't the same size and that he was tied up. He looked around and saw a picture of a young husky on the wall. ‘Oh my gosh...this is the night that Tristan got raped,' he thought to himself as he looked back and saw a large Doberman standing behind his raised rump with a very large cock up to his tail hole.

The husky could feel himself spiraling through space and possibly time before he felt himself stop. He started to hear people around him as he opened one eye and then the other looking around himself. He was standing in a backyard with a pool in back of him. He looked down at himself and saw that he was much shorter than he used to be and feline. His eyes got wide and thought, "This must be when..." He saw that everyone was leaving so his body automatically started to move on it own towards the house until a black hand stopped him in his tracks.

Jake screamed as he felt the large cock starting to push deep into his tail hole. He had never felt anything so painful. He tried to squirm around, but the Doberman held him down as he thrust the entire cock into his tail hole. Jake could feel his tail hole starting to bleed slightly and he started to flail out as best as he could. Suddenly, he saw the door to the room fly open and the cock left his tail hole.

Tristan looked back and saw a large black panther about a foot above him. His body cowered a bit as a black paw struck him hard in the face sending him to the ground. He placed his paw to the area where he was hit and saw a bit of blood on his paw. He looked up as the black panther picked his up by the shirt. ‘God, this can't be happening,' He thought to himself. He was struck a few more times until he was almost knocked out all this time looking over to his smiling friend wondering why he wasn't doing anything.

Jake cried a bit as he saw the Doberman jump out the window. He noticed a scar going down the left arm of the dog and he whimpered a bit as an adult female husky took the gag out of his mouth. Tristan's father untied his arms and legs and Jake couldn't help but hug the woman, literally. It was as if the young Tristan was controlling his body and he was just along for the ride.

The black cat looks over to the pool and gets a big smirk on his short maw. He looks over to the smaller feline and walks him to the edge of the pool. The panther throws him in as Tristan starts to flail in the water. His body couldn't take the stress from being hit too much as he starts to go under the water. He tried to swim back up, but he remembered he had no control. He started to feel light head as he closed his eyes. A few minutes had passed and when the feline didn't resurface, his friend got worried, ran, and jumped into the water and got the leopard out of the pool.

Jake whimpered as he reached back and touched his tail hole and saw that it was bleeding. ‘Tristan never told me about this. I've never felt anything so painful. Not even when I was beat up...' he thought to himself before blacking out.

He couldn't breath and falling down to the bottom of the pool. He couldn't move and he was losing life fast. All of a sudden he felt something lift him up out of the water and placed him on dry land. He could barely feel someone using CPR on him as he coughed up water and a little bit of blood. He started to come too but just barely, ‘Fuck, I didn't think anyone would have it this rough,' he thought to himself as he lay there breathing only a little bit. He then felt his friend hug him tight before passing out.

Jake groaned as he slowly woke up and sat up. His flashlight was next to him and he was still in the cave. "W-What happened?" he asked as he looked over to the ferret.

Tristan was sprawled out at the very bottom of the stairs still completely out of it. He was in the same position that he was in when he was in the apparition, but was breathing normally.

"Tristan!" Jake said. He immediately became worried and moved over to him and sat him up. "Tris? Are you okay?"

The husky came too after a few as he looked around him, "Jake? Where am I? ...and ow..." He placed a paw to his lip and took it away seeing blood on his paw. "What's going on...?"

"I don't really know what happened...but I do know that my tail hole hurts and I understand why you're homophobic. What happened to you was horrible," Jake said as he held the husky.

Tristan sighed lightly as he felt a little week, "Well what happened to you wasn't a walk in the park either, Hun. I'm still surprised you forgave your friend after what I saw..."

"Hun...he was my only friend at the time. And if you had seen his face in the hospital room, you would have known immediately that he had accepted me. But you...you didn't tell me that your tail hole had been bleeding after he r...uh...did that to you," Jake said, remembering their company.

The husky shook his head, "I don't remember that, I blacked out after my parents came in."

"Well, I got a good look at the guy who did it to you. He had a long scar down his left arm as if someone had cut him down his arm," Jake said as he helped the husky up. "Well, we'd better get going."

Tristan couldn't stand without leaning on the feline, "Fuck... I can barely walk."

"It's alright. We just need to get out of the cave and the others can help us. OH! Before I forget...." Jake turned back towards the graveyard. "Thank you kind spirits for lending us this sanctuary. May you find peace within yourselves and with each other."

The husky tilted his head as he looked at the feline, "Do I have to ask?"

"I'll tell you later," the snow leopard said as the three of them began to head towards the exit of the cave.

Tristan just shrugged lightly as he leaned on Jake for support.

It wasn't long before they were out of the cave again. The entire time they were moving, Jake's tail hole hurt less and less until it didn't hurt at all. He looked over and noticed that the cut that Tristan had wasn't quite as bad as it had looked before. "Terri, you mind not telling the others about this?"

"Sure, I don't see why not," the ferret said.

"Can you set me down next to a tree please, Hun... I need to relax a bit before we head back..."

Jake smiled and set him down. "Almost drowning does take a lot out of you, doesn't it?" the snow leopard asked as he sat down next to the husky. "But that's what I got for being gay."

Terri on the other hand had gone to find the other two.

Tristan looked over to the feline and shook his head, "No, it's not what you get for being gay, Hun. It's your choice..."

Jake smiled a bit as he gave a long lick over the husky's cheek. "I still can't believe what happened to you. But like I said, I did get a good look at his face. I'd be able to spot him, if I ever saw him again."

Tristan thought for a minute and then sighed, "I wish I did... oh well... I"m just wondering if my parents got a good look."

"Even if they didn't, I'd be able to point him out. What he did...It's just not right." Jake sighed as he rested his head on Tristan's shoulder.

The husky looked down at the leopard, "Not right hun? I think that's the wrong way to put it."

The snow leopard was doing his best to hold his emotions down. "I just...I fuckin' hate him...that never should have happened. I hope he rots in jail for the rest of his life. The death penalty is too good for someone like him." The feline couldn't hold it in anymore and began to cry a bit into the husky's chest.

Tristan watched the leopard and tried to say something, but nothing came out. He chuckled a bit and tried to comfort Jake the best he could. He wrapped his arms as much as he could around the feline kissing him on the head, "I know, It's okay..."

Jake smiled as he sniffed and wiped away his tears as he looked up to the canine. "I'm sorry about that....I've just never really hated anyone before...but that guy...I just...I just wanted to tear his head off for what he did to you..."

The husky sigh lightly a nodded his head some, "Yeah, I wouldn't mind doing the same thing myself, but I can't."

Jake continued to stay with his head on the husky's chest. "Hey, Tris...in all the time you've known me, have I ever thought badly about anyone?"

Tristan thought for a minute and shook his head, "Not that I know of. You were always looking at the bright side of things."

Jake sighed as he rested his head a bit. "I want to go back to the cabin now." The feline just wanted to relax in a bed with his husky.

The canine nodded and smiled lightly, "I feel like I can walk back on my own. I've rested enough... at least for now."

The feline smiled as he stood up and helped his husky up off the ground. "I'm sorry about my emotional breakdown just then..."

"No, it's fine. You had every right too." He stood up with Jake's help and started to walk. "I don't know what to say though about the black panther or your friend though..."

Jake smiled as he looked back to see the others coming out of the woods as well as they got back to the path. "Well, he was being ignorant. But he turned around. He's actually coming to the college in two weeks. I do want you to meet him. He really is a nice guy. I think we should let the others know that we're going back to the cabin."

"Well, I'll meet him... but I'll give him something he'll never forget." He growled lightly as he looked over and saw the others.

"Please don't be too rough on him," the snow leopard said as he rubbed the husky's chest a bit.

"Don't worry hun, I'm not going to hurt him... much. Just a friendly reminder." He cracks his knuckles a bit.

"And I thought I was vengeful," Jake said before giggling. He then turned around to face the others as they approached.

Tristan chuckled a bit as he put his arms down, "Well what can I say... I have to avenge you some how."

"Trust me. I could tell that the guilt itself was enough to weigh down a feral bull," Jake said as he wrapped his arm around the husky's hip. He then turned to the others.

"I guess so..." He looked around as he saw Terri come running towards them with Max and Daniel close behind.

Jake held on tight to his husky as the others came over. "Hey, we're gonna head back to the cabin. We're kind of tired," the feline said.

Tristan looked at Jake and then the others as he nodded, "Especially me..."

Max tilted his head as he looked at them, "Anything wrong?"

"Just exhausted really," Jake said before giving them a fake yawn.

"Well, how about I help escort them back? I know you two want some more alone time," Terri said with a wink towards the yiffy couple.

Max just giggled lightly and nodded to Terri, "Alrighty..."

Daniel blushed lightly as he squeezed the canines paw and they started back on their way to their own cabin.

Jake smiled as he held onto the husky as the three of them began to walk back. "You don't mind Terri being with us, do you?" the feline asked softly so the ferret wouldn't hear.

"Naw, it's all good. I don't mind at all." Tristan smiled gently as he held onto to Jake a little as they walked.

Jake was a bit surprised. Had he really changed? "What if he tries something? Like, he asks for a three way or something?"

"I still don't know yet, Hun..." Tristan smiled lightly.

"It's okay. I'm not too sure about it myself," the feline said as the ferret began to came over. "How you doing Terri?"

The ferret smiled. "I'm fine right now. You two look like you've seen better days. How you feeling?"

"I'm just tired... plus my body hurts all over, but what is really weird is that my jaw feels like it was broken. It's a little hard to talk..."

Jake thought back to when he was in the hospital. They told him that he had come close to having his jaw broken. It was still sore when he had woken up, but it wasn't that bad. He knew that Tristan's jaw would be better soon enough. Before long, they got to the path that led up to their cabin. Jake knew that they would be able to get back up there with no problem. Jake looked over to Tristan to see if he would invite the ferret up or not.

Tristan sighed lightly his thoughts some where else entirely. he was thinking about what had happened to him - the pain and drowning afterwards. What was it that made him see and feel that in the first place. Some kind of strange phenomenon? He closed his eyes and lets Jake guide him.

Seeing that Tristan was out of it, it was up to him to make the decision. "Mind escorting us all the way to the cabin, Terri?"

The ferret smiled a bit and nodded. "I would love to."

It didn't take long for them to reach the cabin. Tristan was still quiet and very pensive about all that was happened as they went up the front steps.

Jake moved away from Tristan a little bit so that he could open the door. But as they approached his ears twitched a bit from a faint, but familiar sound. It wasn't until he opened the door that he realized that it was moaning. "Figures. Just ignore it, Terri."

Tristan twitched his ears slightly as he came too as he looked around himself walking in. He sighed a bit and then rolled his eyes seeing what was going on the couch, "Seriously, do you two have any since of morality?"

Jake couldn't help but laugh as saw the two of them look at the two in the doorway. "What the hell?" Liz said. Steve, on the other hand, looked was practically a deer looking into headlights.

Terri peeked into the door and murred. "Nice body, Steve," he said. Jake quickly pushed him back a bit, but he could help but laugh even more.

Tristan sighed slightly, "I think it would be wise for you two to head into Liz's room... don't you think?"

Liz growled slightly as she covered herself up. "Who are you to tell me where I'm supposed to fuck? Last time I checked, I was telling you when or where you're allowed to fuck my best friend."

The husky growled lightly bearing his teeth just slightly, "Well, that's different. We were in the room at the time and somebody had to look in on what was not their business. I just don't want to come in and see someone having sex in the middle of the damn living room."

"You weren't even supposed to fuckin' be here. What the hell happened at the hike? Did you all fuck each other so quickly that you decided to come back here in fuck instead?"

Tristan clenched his fist slightly making sure that Jake's paw wasn't within it, "Liz, for your information we didn't have sex on that hike and we can return whenever we damn well please. What gives you the right to say what we can or can't do?"

"Well, I....uh..." Liz just growled a bit as she turned around and grabbed Steve. "Whatever," she said before disappearing into her room.

"Damn, Hun...I've never won an argument against her."

Tristan just growled lightly and relaxed a bit closing his eyes. He placed a paw on the wall and leaned against it feeling a little weak, "Lets just forget about it... It'll blow over... I hope."

"I'm sure it will. She always blows things out of proportion. Hey, Terri, since we all know the other two are going to be yiffing all night, you're more than welcome to sleep on the couch."

"Well...I don't know...I mean, Liz is pretty scary when she's mad. Plus...well...I know that Tristan is...well...you know..." The ferret was very nervous about the whole thing even though he wanted to stay the night.

Tristan looked at Terri and shook his head, "It's fine..." He walked slowly towards the bedroom with his paw helping him along the way, "Damn my jaw hurts... I could barely put up that fight." Tristan then gasped lightly as he collapsed to the floor the pain getting to him.

"Oh my...Terri, call an ambulance," Jake said as he went over to the husky and held him up.

Liz and Steve came running out. At least this time they were in underwear. "...What's going on?"

"I don't know. Tristan...are you alright?" Jake asked.

The husky opened his eyes lightly, "My body hurts and my Jaw... ow..."

"Just relax, Hun. Terri is calling an ambulance. We're getting you to a hospital. Just stay with me, okay?" The feline said, holding Tristan tight.

Tristan nodded and made sure not to say anything. The pain was now over bearing he couldn't believe he lasted this long. A tear fell down his cheek lightly.

"Damn....we never should have gone in there...I love you, Tristan..." Jake did his best to hold back his tears as he held onto his boyfriend tight.

The Husky only heard half of what the leopard said as he passed out another tear falling down both his cheeks.
