#2 of Bridger Cross Country

Things get even further away from what Bridger expected to be doing, but this horse eventually gets back on the road. Written 2014.

"So, what's life like in Oklahoma?" The dark haired woman stroked the horse morph's thick arm as he drove, pushing up his sleeve to admire the firm muscles hiding under his short, brown fur.

"Boring, mostly." Bridger focused on the road, wondering if Dizzy had had a little too much beer at dinner. "Though there ..."

"Oh, turn right here," she waved her arm at the upcoming corner and he turned. "It's just a little ways up here, on the left, just past that next lamppost. See the building there. You can park over there." After indicating an open spot, she returned to his shoulder, letting her fingers play in his short fur. "I could drive with you all day. You're just a whole hunka wonderful."

Bridger parked the car and put his hand on hers, "We're here. Which one is it."

She snapped out of her thoughts and brightened, "Oh yeah, I want to show you my place. You're gonna love it." She hopped over the door and hurried around as Bridger opened his door and got out.

"Hey guys, don't forget about me."

Bridger turned around to see the squirrel trying to feel his way out of the back seat. "Sorry, Chester. Want a lift?"

"Sure." When the horse leaned over and picked him out of the car, the squirrel clung to his neck to reach his ear, "Don't put me down."

"Y'sure?"

"Yeah, uh, when Dizz gets focused, she tends to forget about people."

"Hey, I won't forget about you." Bridger shifted the small morph to a more comfortable carrying position and hurried across the street.

Chester didn't want to admit out loud, but he was enjoying having his new friend's strong arms wrapped around him.

"Well, come on. Oh Chester, you're still here. Well, you've already seen my place, so don't spoil it for him." She turned to open the door

"See what I mean?" Chester sighed and twitched his tail as Bridger carried him inside.

"Okay, so here it is. I'll just let you soak it in for a bit." She hurried to the back of the room and around a counter to open her refrigerator.

The mustang set the squirrel down and examined the room. The entire place was decorated in browns, with a bright blanket hanging on a wall as the only color. A saddle sat on a table with some clothes tossed over it and other items around the room fit the 'western' theme. An antique wagon wheel hung on another wall and the last available wall had an old TV hanging on it, decorated with various trinkets. Facing it, in the middle of the room, was an over-sized, brown leather couch.

"Well, what d'ya think? Remind ya of home?" She opened two beers and took a swig of one.

His first thoughts were 'gaudy' or 'tacky' but he didn't want to offend her, so he put a little more thought into it, "It ... suits you."

"Thanks!" She offered him the other beer, but he declined, so she shoved it against Chester's chest.

"Dizz, I..." the squirrel tried to say he didn't like beer and give it back, but she interrupted.

"Come on over here and sit on the couch. I want to hear all about yer life in Oklahoma. Do ya got a girlfriend there? Are all the horses out there big like you?" She pulled excitedly on the horse's arm.

Bridger sat in the middle of the couch and Dizz plopped beside him, reattaching to his arm. He watched Chester walking carefully after and offered his free hand to help him onto the couch, where the squirrel sat, holding the untouched beer. He looked back to Dizz, "Well, some of the other morphs are bigger, like my father, but there are some smaller."

"Do ya have yer own farm or do ya ride around from town to town?" She stroked her hand over his chest, enjoying the contours of his muscular body.

He watched her hand, wondering how she might take the truth. "Well, for most of my life, I grew up a slave."

"Oh!" She froze and looked up at him as her brain changed gears, trying to picture a completely different life than she had imagined.

Chester smirked as he heard the surprise in her voice, then took a smug swig from the bottle. He gagged as he remembered that it was beer and went back to sulking.

Dizz looked at the horse's chest again and stroked it more gently as her thoughts turned sour. "Did they beat you?"

"Oh, no. The Campbells were great. They treated us almost like one of the family. We had our own apartment in the barn and they worked with us to keep the farm running. I heard stories of other morphs that weren't so lucky. My brother thought the Campbells made them up to keep us in line, but that's not where I heard all of them."

"You have a brother?"

"I have two older brothers there and two more brothers and two sisters that were sold, and who knows how many half-brothers and sisters, since my father's breeding partners never came back and nobody talked about it."

"They were sold?" The conversation was getting really far from where she wanted it, but she was genuinely curious.

"Yeah, the Campbells stopped at four sons and didn't want our family to outnumber theirs. I was lucky to be the last one they kept."

"Wow" Dizz took a swig from her bottle, but it was empty. She looked at it, then at him, then patted his chest and pushed herself up, "I'll be right back."

Bridger looked over at the bored squirrel and reached up to rub his back. Chester looked up at him and smiled apologetically, but before he could say anything, Dizz came back with two more bottles.

She sat down on the couch, facing the horse and offered him a beer. He declined again, so she put it between her legs and opened hers. "So, your dad was a breeding stud?"

"Yeah. As his sons, my brothers and I each got a chance, but I was the only one that kept going with it. They were jealous that I was so popular."

"So, you really are a stud." She smiled and stroked his thigh. "What was that like?"

Bridger smiled as he thought about some of the mares he had bred, "It was a nice break from farming, but I hated hearing about some of their lives. I wanted to just keep each of them, but when it was done, they had to go back. Like Olive Moon. She was amazed at how nice my place was, but she figured it was just because I was a breeder. I could see the scars on her from her abusive owner. She said that, at home, she was proud of her scars, because they proved she survived, but next to my unblemished hide, she felt ashamed of them. Her owner had paid for me because she hadn't gotten pregnant from two previous tries and if she didn't this time, he was just going to cut his losses and kill her. I wanted to wipe away all of her pains and let her stay with me, but all I could do was fill her three times and hope for the best. She thanked me, but I hated giving up."

"So, you fucked her three times in a row?" She opened the other bottle and took a big swig.

The horse cringed at the harsh word, "Well, twice that night, then once more in the morning, before her owner came back for her."

She slid her hand up his thigh to find the impressive bulge in his pants. "You must be good at what you do."

"Well, the mares were always happy and I was told their owners were pleased, too."

She finished the bottle and dropped it on the floor, then leaned forward to get on her knees beside him and fondle his equipment. "I bet they were, with a tool like this." She opened his pants and released his mild erection.

Bridger moved to stop her, but realized it was too late. He looked to Ches, but the squirrel had finished the beer and was curled up around his own tail.

Dizz stroked and fondled the horse's thick penis in awe, "Does it get bigger?"

"Um, yes, but I don't think..."

"Oh, I can handle it. You wait here." She sprung off the couch and ran through a door, bumping into the frame.

Bridger looked at the sleeping squirrel and tried to fit his growing erection back in his pants, unsuccessfully. He thought about a comment Ches made earlier and wondered if he should invest in some baggier pants, himself.

Dizz reappeared in the doorway, wearing only her boots and hat and holding a large, blue shaft that looked suspiciously like his own penis. She was big for a human female, at least six feet tall and built for work, with thick thighs and a broad chest. Aside from her small face and furless body with bulbous breasts and that silly human bellybutton, she'd make a great mare. She reminded him of the mare he 'stole' from his oldest brother. Something Granite had said or done had made her kick him in the balls and walk out. When her owner brought her back, the Campbells gave her to him. He had made sure she wasn't disappointed and neither was her owner. As he watched Dizz posing, flexing and rubbing the mock cock on her impressive body, he was reminded of what Tin had said earlier that day and considered giving it a shot.

"Damn! It did get big!" Dizz stared at his lap with a grin, then headed for it. She knelt in front of him and held her dildo beside it. "I think you're even bigger."

Bridger realized that his stray thoughts had seriously aroused him, giving him a major erection standing tall in his lap. It was close at the moment, but the fake didn't have a flare and when he did, it would be no contest.

She tossed the toy aside and grabbed the real thing to kiss the head and rub it between her breasts. She stroked his large balls resting below and decided she better act before she lost her nerve. She stood up and swung her legs around his knees, settling in his lap with his massive cock pressed against her belly. She put her hands on his chest and rubbed her pussy against his large shaft, "Oh lordy, you can fill me before you fill me."

Bridger was surprised by her eagerness. He put his hands on her sides, but didn't want to push her into anything. The feel of her full body against him made him feel more comfortable and he lifted his hips to rub against her.

"Oh, yes, I want you, too." She lifted herself up and pressed the head of his shaft against her small opening. She forced it in with a satisfied groan and caught herself with a hand on his chest. "Oh my god, that's huge!"

Bridger watched her face warily, "Are you okay? Do you want to stop?"

She pointed a finger and glared at him, "Don't you even think it. I've waited for this my whole life and I want the whole damn thing." She grabbed his shaft again and started working it deeper into herself.

She was much tighter than any mare he had had before and it was making it hard for him to hold back, but he wanted to let her enjoy as much as she could before he finished. None of the mares he had bred had been able to take him to the hilt and Dizz wasn't even close, but he was impressed by how much had already fit inside her.

"Oh! Damn. I think that's all I can take."

Chester slowly woke to the shouting and found something almost familiar in his arms. "Bridger? Need help again?" He followed the shaft to its base and realized that it wasn't attached to anything. He threw it away with a shout and sat up, "Bridger! Where are you?!"

Bridger reached out and put his hand on the squirrel's shoulder, "I'm ... here."

"What are you doing?"

"Oh God!" Dizz's voice rang in the small room.

Chester followed the horse's arm up, then reached out to find smooth, human skin; a thigh, a hip, moving rhythmically. "Dizz?!"

"Ches, I can take it!"

"Inside you? Are you crazy? He's a horse!" He slid his paw over her belly and down to find the throbbing shaft disappearing into her stretched pussy.

The squirrel's little paws caressing her skin and touching her clit sent the young woman over the edge, "Oh my God!" She put both hands on the horse's chest to hold herself upright as her orgasm washed over her, but her weight pushed her further onto the rigid shaft, pushing out another scream.

Bridger groaned as he felt the sudden hit. It took all he had to keep from ending so soon.

Remembering the floods he enjoyed earlier and imagining blowing up and bursting like a balloon if it had been inside him, Chester scrambled to turn around and reached behind his female friend. His paws found the thick shaft again and he felt along it. "You've got to get it out of there before it's too late."

The squirrel's tail smacked the horse in the face and so did memories of unexpected pleasure that broke his concentration. He threw back his head and reflexively thrust as his orgasm overtook him.

"Oh! It's getting even bigger! OH!"

Chester heard the scream and felt the shaft pulse in his paws and pulled to save his friend. Another scream as the flared head resisted coming out. When it finally did, it sent a spray of fluid onto Bridger's belly, then pumped more into the squirrel's face. He caught a mouthful before he closed it, then held the massive member as it finished and fell limp in his arms, before slowly sliding back into its home.

Dizzy fell against her lover, panting heavily. Her brain felt like mush, but her body felt like bliss. She stroked Bridger's neck and sighed, "Mmm, good horsie."

Chester pushed himself up, quickly realizing that his tail was trapped between his two friends. "Dizz, are you okay?"

"Mmmhmm."

Her distant answer made him chuckle. "How about you, Bridger? Did she hurt you?"

The horse looked at the blissful expression on the human's face, "Far from it. She was better than I thought. Are you sure she's alright?"

Chester slid his paws up the smooth skin of her back until he found her shoulders and leaned in to listen to her breathing and soft snoring. "Oh yeah, she's just fine. Though it usually took me a lot longer to wear her out. Could you help me get my tail free?"

Bridger carefully lifted Dizz and rolled her onto the couch beside him. He looked over her body, laying limp with her stretched pussy oozing horse cum, and thought that he might like human females after all, then realized what Chester had said. "Wait, you and her?"

Chester leaned on his horse friend as he brushed out his tail, "Yeah. We went to school together and dated for a bit. After we graduated, we tried again. Does she still have that wheel on the wall?"

"Yeah, a big, ancient wagon wheel."

"I knocked that off the wall a few times, just trying to get around in here. When she accused me of doing it on purpose, I knew it wasn't going to work out, then I did it on purpose when I left. Heh, It always took me so much work, but you blew her mind without even trying. She loved to cuddle after. There's a tattoo on her hip that's supposed to be my tail."

"I see it here." Bridger touched the red curly image on her smooth skin.

Dizz moaned and spread her legs, "Oh, Ches, you were wonderful, as usual. Come keep me warm."

Both morphs stared at the naked woman, only one seeing her hands roaming over her naked body.

Chester smiled, his paw finding its way into his pants, "I guess she hasn't forgotten, either. Does she have her middle finger in her bellybutton?"

Bridger smiled, "Yeah, she ..." He was interrupted as the suddenly naked squirrel crawled across his lap.

Dizz's moans excited him as he licked her thighs and spread sex, or maybe it was the horse flavor, he wasn't sure. He just knew he wanted to get inside her one more time. He nosed his way up to her bellybutton and wrapped his tongue around her finger, pulling it into his mouth.

"Oh Ches, come up here and share your nuts with me again."

He crawled up her body as she pulled her hand up until his nuts bumped against her. His erection was ready and easily found its way inside her open vagina. She was never tight for his little stick and this was just what he remembered: soft, warm and wet. He thrust, driving his hips quickly against hers, and her moans and hands pulling at his back drove him faster. His tail waved behind him like a banner in Bridger's face.

The horse caught the flailing fluffiness and held it. He could understand why Dizz had enjoyed cuddling it and took advantage of the moment to rub it along his cheeks and neck; the impassioned cries and disarming softness brought back his arousal. Dizz's voice got higher and soon ended in a scream cut short as she grabbed the squirrel's bouncing butt and held him still inside her. The tail twitched and and fell limp as they both moaned.

Bridger smiled at them, then noticed his own chubby starting to rise past the sea of fur in his lap. He covered it with the other end of the tail, but the soft caress only made things worse. He pushed himself off of the couch and attempted to close his pants. He pulled his shirt over the end, enough to cover it, then knelt down to check on his friends. He put his hand on the squirrel's back, "Are you okay?"

Chester started to laugh. "Thanks, Bridger. I've missed that. That's just what I needed." He pushed himself up and explored her front with his paws.

She grabbed his wrists, "Chessie, turn around."

He groaned, but when she released him, he turned around to lay his tail over her and sat down. Dizz wrapped her arms and legs around the fluffy squirrel tail and put her boots on his back. Ches looked up at Bridger with an annoyed expression, "This never really worked for me, especially when she's drunk."

"I can see why." He looked at the pitiful scene, then leaned over, "Hey, Dizz. Could you let go of Ches?"

"Nope. It's mine." She hugged the tail tighter.

Bridger sighed, "Back home, when a dog had ahold of something, we'd spray it with a hose."

"Well, we're all messy. Think you can carry us to the shower?"

"I'll give it a shot." Bridger slipped his arm under the naked woman and lifted her up. She complained and clung to the tail, keeping her feet on Chester's back. "Well, I can get her and could probably lift you, but she's not letting me get you close enough to grab you."

Chester sighed, "Alright, I'll lead the way. Good thing she hasn't moved the furniture." He slid off the couch and Bridger carried the euphoric woman behind him, through the bedroom. He found the tub and stepped in, then searched for the handles to turn on the water.

"Hold on, Ches. Let me get these clothes off. Can you hold her up for a moment?" He sat Dizz on the edge of the tub and leaned her against the squirrel, then hurried to get undressed.

"Just like old times. Being so much shorter, I didn't make a very good leaning post when she was too drunk to walk."

"We should get her boots off."

"Please."

Bridger pulled one off, while Chester tugged the other free and Dizz still clung to the squirrel's tail. He picked her up again and Ches turned on the water.

When the cold spray hit, Dizz sprung to life. She screamed and let go of the tail, putting her feet down, then spun around and clung to the horse behind her before she passed out again.

Bridger caught her as she slid down his body and set her on the side of the tub, letting her lean against his thigh as he rinsed his lap.

Ches turned off the water, then turned around and found Dizz. He ran his paws over her skin, touching her arm and back and breasts, "I do miss the fun we had, but I wasn't what she really wanted."

"Should I put her in her bed?"

"Yeah, I guess that's nicer than leaving her in the tub."

Bridger picked Dizz up and carried her back to the bedroom. He could smell himself on her and realized that they had forgotten to clean between her legs. He laid her in her bed and stepped back as she settled in. "Hey, Ches. We should clean her up." He started back to the bathroom for a washcloth.

"Leave it. She'll enjoy finding it."

"Y'sure?"

"Trust me. Come on. I don't want to stay here and if you do, she'll never let you leave."

Bridger picked up his clothes from the bathroom and put them on as he walked past the naked human, looking at her tanned skin in the dim light. He stopped in the doorway, then gave in to his urge and walked back to the bed. Leaning over her belly, he rubbed his nose on the smooth skin, then licked it, sliding his wide tongue over her belly and between her breasts. She moaned softly and reached up to hold his head, but he caught her arms and laid them across her chest as he stood up. He quickly left the room before he could do anything else and found Chester dressed and trying to dry his tail with a shirt from the saddle. "Need a hand?"

"Oh, there you are. Is it dry enough? She said there isn't room for my dryer and would towel dry my tail, but that makes it frizzy instead of fluffy. I just want to get the damp out before I get in your car."

"It's fine. It's a rental."

"Bridger." He tossed the shirt back on the saddle and timidly walked to the horse. "Would you mind carrying me to the car?" He gasped as the horse scooped him up in one smooth motion and clung to the strong chest as he carried him to the door. "Bridger."

The mustang stopped at the door and looked at his little friend, "Hmm?"

"I like this." The squirrel gently stroked the large chest beside him.

"Being carried?"

"No. Just you. No one else gets to pick me up, okay?"

Bridger chuckled, "Okay." He opened the door and headed out.

As they crossed the street, a police car pulled up with lights flashing. An officer got out and walked towards them. "What's going on? Is Chester alright?"

Bridger froze, hoping the police man wouldn't notice the mess on his clothes.

"Is that Brain I hear?" The squirrel pushed himself up to look towards the voice.

"Yes, it's Brian, Ches. Are you alright?" He walked up beside them to look both morphs over.

"I'm fine." Chester lifted his tail to prove it.

"I'm just not used to seeing you being carried. I thought you didn't like it."

Ches thought quickly, "How could I resist riding a horse?"

The officer laughed, "Alright. Well, I'm responding to a disturbance call, someone screaming. Do you know anything about it?"

Ches looked up at Bridger, "Um, that was probably Dizz. She got a little excited about meeting a horse."

Brian laughed again, "Does she still think she's a cowgirl."

"Hasn't changed."

"Alright. Where is she now?"

"She, uh, passed out."

"Is she alright?"

"We put her in her bed and left."

"And you're okay?"

"I'm fine, Brian."

"Alright, well, nice meeting you," he held out his hand and looked at the horse expectantly.

"Oh," he reached out from under the squirrel's legs to shake the officer's hand, "Bridger."

"Bridger. Take care and welcome to Copperdale."

"Hey, that's my line." The squirrel flicked his tail and Brian swatted it with a smile as he turned and walked back to his car. The flashing lights turned off and Chester looked up at his horse. "Come on, let's go."

Bridger carried him back to the convertible and set him on the passenger seat, then got in. "Today has been very surreal."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, it started pretty normal. I thought I knew who I was and where I was going, but after lunch, I ran into you, well, almost, and now I'm off schedule, off track and off saddle."

"Off your saddle? That seems funny coming from a horse."

Bridger laughed at himself. "Oh, yeah. It just means I'm not ... secure ... comfortable ... confident? I'm not sure how to describe it."

Chester leaned over and put his paws on the horse's thigh. "You have got nothing to be insecure about."

He uncomfortably picked up the little paws to get them off of his leg, then just held onto them. "That's kinda the problem. Today, I had sex with a guy and a human, and I enjoyed both. I thought I was sure that I liked mares; and I still do, but ..."

Chester took his paws back and climbed up to put them on the horse's shoulder, "Just because I know how to pop your nuts, doesn't mean your whole life is a lie. Let's go back to my place. You can get some sleep and you'll feel better in the morning."

Bridger sighed, then nodded, "Alright. Probably a good idea to put a close on this day before it gets any weirder." He started the car and Chester settled back in his seat, then he pulled out. "I hope Dizzy feels better in the morning, too."

Chester snorted a laugh, "I'm not sure she could feel better than after finally getting plowed by a horse."

"When you say it that way, it doesn't sound very good."

"Well, I wouldn't want to. No offense, but I'm half your size; you'd split me in half. I'll stick to hugging your third leg."

Bridger shifted in his seat, really wishing he had those baggy pants now, as images of the squirrel wrapped around his flared shaft popped to mind. "Um, well, we'll talk about that."

Chester giggled to himself as he thought about the horse's bulging crotch..

The mustang found a legal place to park and got out. He walked around and looked down at the squirrel in the passenger seat.

"I can feel you there, Bridger." Ches looked up at his friend with a smile, then squeaked as the horse's strong arms scooped him up and carried him inside. He clung to him, wishing this wasn't the last night he would spend with his new friend. "Bridger. Will you miss me?"

Bridger stood Chester on the end of the bed and looked at the squirrel, now closer to his own height. "I don't think I could ever forget you and you've shown me things that I never thought to think about myself. Nevermind all the time it took me to get here; this is the beginning of my journey and even though you belong in this town, I'll always keep you with me, right here." He pulled his new friend against his chest and hugged him.

Chester tried not to cry as the words sank in, then he chuckled and looked up at the horse, "You're pretty smart for a kid."

"Plenty time for thinking on the farm. Besides, I kinda paraphrased what my mother said when I left."

"You're a big softie, aren't you?"

"Well, part of my father's advice was: Be soft when it matters and strong when it counts."

"How do you tell the difference."

"He said: Experience."

Chester ran his paw over the horse's muscles, "Well, I think you do pretty well at being soft and strong at the same time."

Bridger brushed his hand through the squirrel's fur. "You've got the soft part covered and you're pretty strong for making a life for yourself without being able to see anything."

Ches pushed himself off of the horse. "That's been pretty easy with all the support I've had all my life."

"Don't sell yourself short. You do a lot of things for yourself, with nobody helping you."

"But the town gave me all this and still pay me for nothing. I just wish I meant more than just the town squirrel."

"We all get something from somewhere and you're much more than just a squirrel. Dizz cares about you, whether she admits it or not."

"She just likes my tail." He raised his tail, then shoved it away. "Like everybody else."

"She likes more than that."

"Yeah, but my little stick is nothing compared to yours."

Bridger laughed, "She sure looked to me like she was enjoying it. But you're right, there is no comparison, because you're you and I'm just some horse she doesn't know. She's probably just frustrated that you do better on your own than with her."

"I just hate sleeping alone."

"Well, I'll be here tonight. Tomorrow, ..." He didn't have anything in mind to finish what he started to say, so he went with the cliché, "can always be better."

Chester smiled and jumped off of the bed. He quickly got undressed, putting his clothes in the laundry basket and hurried back to jump in the bed. He lay on his stomach and flagged his tail in the air. "Come on. I'll let you hug my tail."

Bridger smiled and started taking his own clothes off. He was still unsure of how he felt about enjoying being with a male like that, but he had promised to sleep with the squirrel tonight and he did like holding that fluffy tail of his. He lay down on the small bed, letting his legs hang off the end at his knees, and put his hand on Ches' back. The squirrel rolled over to put his back against the horse, with his tail between them, and Bridger wrapped his arm around him. They both had a lot of thoughts of past, present and future swirling in their heads, but cuddled together, none of it mattered at that moment.

Bridger awoke, staring at the ceiling. It was still mostly dark and he wondered how early it was. His dreams had been odd, but happy and left him feeling refreshed and awake. He looked down to find Chester curled up on top of him around his own tail. He thought about his dream where he lived on a ranch with Chester and Dizz and Olive and all the other mares he had bred and all their children. He thought about all the sex he had had, including Chester, and he felt good about all of them.

Suddenly the squirrel gasped and lifted his head and tail. He gripped at the horse's chest for a moment, then relaxed, "Uh, Bridger? Are you awake?"

"Yeah, Ches."

Chester lifted his leg and reached between them to find the stiff shaft that had bumped against his butt. "Looks like something else is, too."

"Oh!" The flustered horse tried to think of some way to quell his embarrassment. "I'm sorry. I'm not trying to do anything."

"Why not?" The squirrel sat up and wrapped his legs around the horse's growing cock, stroking it with his paws to encourage it. "I could enjoy waking up this way."

"I was just having a good dream." He held his hands out, awkwardly trying to decide how to remove the randy rodent.

"Oh? Was I in it?" Chester rubbed the large, warm shaft against his furry body.

Bridger sighed, "Yes. Could you stop doing that? You're making it hard for me to relax."

"Why would I want to do that? I'm enjoying it being hard." He started moving his hips to rub his own stick against the base of the horse's cock as his paws teased the rest of it."

Bridger moaned, trying to ignore his body, "Do I need to put you under the shower, too?"

"If you could get me there." He scrunched to rub his fuzzy cheeks against the head and swung his tail around to tease the horse's face. The pleasured groans and horseflesh flexing in his arms told him he was winning, until Bridger grabbed the base of his tail, put his large hand on the squirrel's belly and sat up suddenly. He clung to the shaft as he felt Bridger stand up, holding him in the air, and start walking. He needed to work fast if he was going to avoid cold water. He used the support on his belly to put his whole body to work, wriggling and rubbing and stroking. He was thinking he might pop before the horse, when they came to a stop. He could feel Bridger lean against something and when the horse let go of his tail, he wrapped it around to join in the aggressive stimulation. The head started to flare and he knew he had won, but he wanted his prize and continued to put all he had into working that horse cock. Finally, he felt the pulse and it continued all the way up. He stretched and held the head against his chest and as the first burst came, he lost his own. The gooey fluid coated his fur and he knew it was getting in his tail, but he didn't care. The shaft slowly went limp in his arms and he let it slide away as he hung smugly on the horse's hand. He heard the squeak of the faucet, but in his euphoria, didn't realize what it was until the water hit him.

The horse chuckled as the squirrel let loose a surprised scream and flailed in the air.

"Bridger! That's cold!"

"A cold shower is good for your health."

Chester groaned and gave up, dangling limply as the water rained over him. He gasped as the big arms lifted him up and held him against the horse's warm chest. One large hand held him in the shower while the other rubbed over his legs, then held his hips as the first rubbed over his chest. He hugged the strong arm as it slowly let him slide down, feeling those large nuts on his back, until his feet hit the floor.

"Can you stand?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah." He took a step away and turned around, then reached out and found the thick thighs with his little paws. "Bridger?" He felt the horse's hand touch his head and slide down his neck. "Do you regret anything you've done with me?"

Bridger knelt down to the squirrel's height, trying to think of how to answer. "I probably wouldn't have done any of it, if you had asked me, but I don't regret any of it. Another piece of advice from my father: Regret eats your soul. Make better use of your energy focusing on what is now. Respond, repair and recover, but never regret."

"Your father was a smart horse."

"He is, for most things."

Chester flicked his scrawny, soggy tail as he thought about the advice. "So ... What is now?"

The mustang smiled, "I have a good, new friend that has taught me not to be so sure I don't like something I haven't tried."

"So, did I turn you gay?"

Bridger laughed, "Oh, no. You're good, but so was Dizzy and mares are still better."

Ches giggled and hugged his horse friend's neck, "I'll remind you how good I am every time you come back."

"And I'll be sure to come back." He squeezed the wet squirrel gently, "Now, where's the soap, so we can finish this shower."

Chester pulled away and turned around to pick up a couple bottles and a thick bristle brush, then handed them to the horse. "Do you want to clean and condition my tail?" Before he got an answer, he turned back around to turn off the water and leaned against the wall with his tail held up. "Use the square one first, then brush once, then the round one and brush twice."

Bridger smiled as he sat on the tile floor and set the round bottle and brush beside him. He grabbed the thin tail and the squirrel gasped, then giggled. He lathered up the soggy fur and the soap bubbles lifted it up to make it look full again. The squirrel moaned softly as he worked his fingers through it from tip to base. "Do I brush it now or do you rinse it first?"

"Oh, are you ready?" Chester put his paw on the handle and Bridger turned his head as the warm water came down. "Now brush it as you rinse it."

Bridger brushed through the long fur, pulling out the shampoo and listening to the squirrel's giggling moans. When it was clean, he grabbed the base and slid to the end, gently squeezing out the last bits of soap.

Chester squeaked at the sudden grope and smiled as the sensation washed over him. The horse leaned against him for a moment and he hoped he would stay, but the water turned off and the warm body left. He moaned as those large hands returned to the base of his tail and slowly worked their way down it. It felt good when Dizz did it, but the mustang was much better, much more tender and arousing. He reached down to hold his happy stick, enjoying every stroke along his tail, but then the horse was on his back again and he braced himself against the wall. The water came on and the warm body left, but then he felt the strokes of the brush. They were careful and deliberate and sent waves of pleasure straight through his erection as they moved to the tip of his tail. He moaned as he felt the brushstrokes start over again at the base of his tail and stroked his stick eagerly, reveling in each sensuous touch. Just as he thought he might finish, he felt the horse against his back again. He grabbed the wall and groaned in frustration as the water stopped, but then he felt something push behind his nuts. A warm hand wrapped around them and two large fingers began stroking the base of his stick while another hand rubbed the base of his tail. He held onto the wall and moaned as his horse friend pleasured him unexpectedly. Soon, his hips jerked and he squirted orgasmic relief. His legs wobbled, but the strong hand between them held him up. He felt the other hand move to his chest and the ground fell away. He found himself against the horse's chest and hugged it, his mind swimming in the moment. A familiar noise and he gasped as he felt the rush of air blowing up his tail. In his bliss, it felt even better than usual, especially as the horse grabbed his thighs to hold him in front of the fan and he felt the warm wind across his dangling nuts. He tried to warn his friend, "Bridger, I'm gonna..."

The mustang stepped back and held the squirrel out just as he squirted again, but it still managed to land on his thigh. He set his friend down and turned off the fan as he looked at the glob dripping down his leg.

"Did I get any on you?"

"Uh, no. I'm just going to rinse off with a cold shower before I get on the road."

He could hear the lie in his friend's voice, but he didn't call him on it. He just imagined his cum splattered on the horse's huge nuts and smiled to himself. He made his way to the bed and sat down to wait for him. When the water turned off, he heard his fan come on and imagined the mustang enjoying it as much as he just did; his huge horse cock sliding out, standing tall and firm, then shooting loads of gooey horse cream. He imagined himself getting showered in the flood of fluid and rubbed his paws through his fur until his fantasy was broken. The fan turned off and he listened in the silence to the horse getting dressed without a word. "Are you sure you can't stay a little longer? There's plenty more to do around here and the locals like you."

Bridger sighed as he pulled his shirt down. "I'd like to, but I had lots more places that I planned to visit and there's a boat waiting for me in Florida."

"I wish I could go with you. I've never even been out of this town."

"It's safe for you here. You know the place and everyone knows you."

"I know." He squeaked as the horse scooped him up in a hug.

"I am going to miss you."

"You're coming back, right?"

"Definitely. It'll be a long trip, but this is the first place I'll come back to."

The squirrel brightened, "Hey, do you have a phone?"

"No. Never needed one on the farm and haven't yet since I've been on the road."

"Well, now you need one." Chester pushed his way out of his friend's strong arms and quickly found his phone. He brought it back to Bridger and gave it to him. "Write down my info and get yourself a phone."

Bridger looked futilely around the room. "I don't have anything to write it..."

"Then memorize it. I'm not going to lose you." He jabbed a small finger against the horse's firm abs.

Bridger chuckled. "If this is how I make sure not to lose you, I'll never forget it." He looked at the screen and read the display, "Is it ChesterCrimsonOfCopperdale?"

"Yes. As soon as you get a phone, you contact me."

He handed the phone back and smiled, "Definitely. It'll be good to have a familiar voice while I travel."

Chester felt those strong arms scoop him up again and he clung to his friend, "You be safe out there. I'm gonna miss you while you're gone."

"You take care of yourself here, so I can find you when I get back." He put the squirrel down on the bed and ran his hand along the fluffy tail one more time, base to tip, making the small morph squeak and giggle, then headed for the door before he lost his will.

Chester heard the door open and the finality hit him. "Hey Bridger!" He turned over on the bed and flagged his tail in the air. "This will be waiting for you when you get back."

Bridger smiled, but made himself close the door. He headed downstairs to his car, glad that it was still where he left it, and opened the trunk. He grabbed his bag and picked out some clean clothes. He had been wearing the same clothes for two whole days and didn't want to keep them for a third, but he was afraid that if he went back up to change, he might not get out again before it was too late to leave. That might not be such a bad thing; he could skip a few places to make up the time, but would he ever be able to resist the urge of just one more moment. He closed the trunk as he shut the idea out of his mind and heard someone banging on a window. He looked up to see Chester clumsily opening the only window in his apartment.

"Bridger! ... Bridger!"

"What's wrong Ches?"

"Wait there; I'm coming down."

The window closed and the squirrel disappeared. The horse waited patiently, but started to wonder if something was really wrong. His worry peaked when he heard a clamor on the stairs, followed by a bang on the door and some unintelligible shouting. He hurried to open the door and found Ches at the bottom of the stairs with two bags. He looked over the squirrel for obvious injuries, "Are you alright?"

Chester grumbled, "Yeah, I just stumbled trying to carry too much at once, but I landed on my bags, so I'm okay."

"What is all this?"

"It's everything I own, well, that I can carry. My cart's still at the top of the stairs, could you grab it?"

Bridger stepped over the pile of squirrel and climbed up to bring down the cart. "What are you doing?"

"I'm going with you."

"What? But you belong here."

"No I don't. I've just always been here. I need to get out in the world and experience more than just the same things. You showed me that there's more than just being the town squirrel and I want to see it."

"Well, that might be difficult."

Chester reached out and found the nearest part of the horse, then followed it up to his face. "You know what I mean."

Bridger smiled and took the squirrel's paws in his hands, "Alright." He picked up the bags and cart in one hand, then scooped up the squirrel in the other and headed back to his car. After installing Chester in the passenger seat, he put the bags in the trunk.

"Hey Bridger, there are snacks in my cart and we need to give the books back to Tin."

He put the cart in the back seat and pulled out the books. He ran across the street and into the bookstore. A young brunette girl looked up from a book and smiled at him, then her eyes got wide and she watched him intently. He smiled back and set the books on the counter, then left. "Just returning these."

The girl closed her book and headed for the counter. "Returning? We're not a library. Wait, these are braille. Where's Chester?"

Bridger was out the door and hopped into his car. He started it up and was moving down the street as the girl watched from the doorway.

"In a hurry now?"

"It just seems that the longer we stay in this town, the harder it is to leave."

"And you've only been here a day."

"Well, I'm not stopping again and I can see the sign at the other end of town from here."

As they neared the sign, Chester's phone rang, announcing Dizzy Dean calling. He put it on speaker. "Hey, Dizz."

"Hey? Where is he?"

"Who, Dizz?"

"The horse, Bridger! Who else would I be talking about?"

"He's heading out of town, Dizz."

"So, you just let him screw me and leave?"

"You passed out, so he put you in bed and we went back to my place."

"And now he's gone without so much as a nice fuck, see ya later?"

Bridger took a breath, "Thank you for a fantastic evening, Dizzy."

The phone was silent for a moment. "Oh my god! Bridger! You heard all that? I'm so sorry. I wasn't tryin' to be rude. I was just ... Wait, Chester, you said he was headin' out of town. You lied to me."

"No, he didn't. He's coming on the road with me."

"WHAT?! Are you crazy? He can't survive out there!"

"He can take care of himself better than you think."

"Oh, I know, but that's in his own place, not out in who knows where. Besides, you're morphs, yer not gonna get a good reception anywhere better than here. They'll kill him and he'll never see it comin'. Yer gonna get my squirrel killed."

Chester smiled, "Your squirrel?"

The phone was silent again. "Yer like a fuzzy little brother to me. I don't want to lose you."

Ches felt a little stunned, "You had an awful lot of sex with your fuzzy little brother, Dizz."

Dizz grumbled, "So I love you. Are you happy? Get your tail back here."

"I'm more than just my tail, Dizz."

She sighed, "I know that. It's just a phrase. Please come back. I do love you."

"Even when I bump into things and knock things off the wall and lose things?"

"Aw, Ches. I was just frustrated. I didn't mean any of those things."

"Yes, you did."

She paused a moment, "Maybe I did, but you're more important to me. Even if we can't live together, I still want you in my life."

Ches was the one to pause, this time. "I'll see you when I get back, Dizz." He ended the call.

"Do you want to go back?"

"No, but that reminds me, I should call a few people to let them know I'll be gone."

Bridger chuckled, "Good idea."

Ches called through his contacts as they continued driving north. They were all surprised, but supportive, and the previous mayor even offered to go by his apartment to make sure everything would be okay while he was gone. Tin mentioned a panicked call he had received shortly before and was glad to hear that he hadn't calmed her down for nothing. Tuck offered to try to calm Dizz down, as most of the calls were interrupted by calls from Dizz, which Ches ignored.

When he hung up, Bridger chuckled, "I don't think there's any doubt you'll be missed, but it sounded like they're happy you're getting out for a while."

"Yeah. ..." his phone rang again from Dizz and he silenced it, "Mostly. I hope she'll still talk to me."

"I'm sure she'll be happy to see you and want to cuddle more than just your tail when we get back, but you can call her later to help ease her mind."

"So, where are we going?"

"Well, I was planning to have been in San Francisco yesterday. I wanted to see the bridge and a few other things."

"I was thinking of something you said yesterday; how you wished you could have done more for the mares you bred."

"Yeah. I thought about that when I was planning to leave, but I didn't know where any of them were, so I just decided to go anywhere."

"Well, there are organizations that could help. I've worked with some before. If you can remember their names or their owners or anything, we might be able to trace them."

"It'd be interesting to know they're okay, but I don't want to intrude or bring up unhappy memories or anything."

"Sometimes seeing an old friend again can make a big difference and you'll never know unless you try."

"Alright, so where do we start?"

"Since we left Copperdale, I can't help much, but I'll make some calls and maybe somebody else knows. Don't worry, we'll find them."

"I hope they want to be found."

"Any mare would be happy to be found by you. You just focus on remembering as much as you can. Oh, and driving, focus on driving."

"I can do that." Bridger smiled as he started thinking about all the mares that had been brought to him. Copperdale may not have been on his plan, but it was starting to feel like a destiny leading him where he was supposed to go. He looked at the blind squirrel beside him for a moment, glad to have such a good guide. The scenic road was more than just a nice trip, it was the path to his future.
