This was a commission for Jaki-Kun! It was a lot of fun to work on, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. He made the thumbnail - it was designed for FA but it was too awesome not to add here too. Hope you enjoy!

Cam crept forward, careful not to make a sound. He avoided the dry leaves lying on the ground and instead stretched to put his foot in a bare spot of dirt. He took one more silent step and stopped. He was close enough now, and the sleeping Fearow still had no idea he was there. He lifted his arms and aimed, making sure everything was just right for his shot...

With a click of his camera and a bright flash of light Cam caught the dosing bird on film. It wasn't an award winning photo or anything spectacular, but it could make for a good calendar picture. It might make him a few PokeDollars, maybe even pay for the roll of film, but he didn't really care about the money. Most people considered Fearow to be a common Pokemon, almost a pest as much as anything, but this one had a kind of noble air to it as it napped in its nest with its feathers fluffed. It made for a pretty picture.

The Pokemon slept through the first shot so Cam snapped a few more, moving silently to get different angles. But after the seventh flash of light the Fearow slowly lifted its head to glare at Cam and his camera. It let out a squawk and spread its wings ominously, so Cam held his hands up and backed slowly away. After a few steps the Fearow settled down again, and even though it still glared in Cam's direction the photographer felt safe walking faster. He walked out of sight of the agitated bird and leaned up against a tree for a break, stowing his camera and grabbing a candy bar from his pack.

Cam was about nineteen and was already making a name as a photographer. Literally - his name was actually Cameron, but people had started to call him Cam as a reference to his work. He hadn't wanted to be a trainer and didn't really have the personality for battles, but he still loved Pokemon and spent most days wandering the areas around his house in search of Pokemon to photograph. It was something he did for the joy of it, but he was still great at it. A few advertisers had asked him to do studio shoots with Pokemon, and he had enjoyed getting to see the new Pokemon and making the scenes, but he found the greatest thrill at capturing their natural wild appearance, and most of his pictures were of Pokemon in their natural habitat. His pictures made it into everything from greeting cards to scientific journals, calendars to store billboards. He was successful - but more than that, he was always getting to meet interesting new Pokemon and learn about them.

The photographer finished off his candy bar and turned his attention back to his camera. He was down to the last three shots on this roll of film. Cam checked through his pack but found he had gone through all the other rolls of film too. He had been out for most of the day, but he had hoped to stay out late and get some shots of some of the nocturnal Pokemon. But as with most other days he had ran into Pokemon after Pokemon that he just _had_to get a picture of, and he had used up all his shots.

Cam sighed and turned towards home, preparing for the walk back home, but stopped when he heard something thump against the far side of the tree. The sound of something small slithering through the grass followed the thump. He didn't recognize the sound, and grabbed his camera again, preparing to use up the last three shots before stepping cautiously around the tree.

It took a minute to make out what was causing the noise, but Cam finally spotted a Ditto slithering snake-like through the grass. The Pokemon was heading away, and Cam didn't think it knew he was there, so he raised the camera. Ditto were rare to begin with but were unheard of in this forest, so Cam knew he could easily find a researcher who would be interested in the pictures. He snapped his first shot, the flash lighting up the dimly lit forest around him, then prepared to get a second... but the Ditto reacted before he could, the pink form congealing from a thin tendril into a blob, its edges looking sharp and pointy instead of smooth. A simple face appeared in the center of the Ditto, and, to Cam's complete shock, the Pokemon spoke, a shaky voice that seemed filled with fear.

"I won't go back! You can't make me!"

Cam blinked, too shocked that a Pokemon was speaking English to form a reply, and just stared back with the camera held forgotten in his hands.

The Ditto finally broke the silence, its tone changing to relief. "Oh! Oh thank Arceus... you're not one of them! You have to help me; I got away but they're chasing me!"

The photographer lowered his camera, completely confused. "Help you? Got away from where? Who's chasing you, and why?"

The Ditto slithered closer to Cam, speaking as it moved. "Scientists... mean ones! They kidnapped me and they've been doing experiments on me against my will! I escaped, but they want me back; I've dodged their guards twice now but I can't move very quickly, and I haven't been able to find another Pokemon to transform into to hide! I need your help, or they'll catch me and take me back there!" The Ditto stopped, its body wobbling like jello as it stared up at Cam helplessly.

Cam hesitated, having trouble believing this was really happening. Mad scientists experimenting on Pokemon? A talking Ditto out here in the woods? An escaped Pokemon that needed his help? It seemed hard to believe, and Cam wasn't sure what he should do... but while he was thinking, he heard the sound of somebody stomping through the forest in the distance.

"Hurry! That's got to be them; you have to help me!" The Ditto's voice changed to a loud whisper as it began to tremble in terror. Cam made up his mind - he couldn't just leave the poor Pokemon on its own out here. He reached down and scooped up the Ditto, trying to hold as much of it as he could in his hand. The Pokemon felt cold and slimy, and for an instant it seemed to spill out of his hand, parts oozing slowly downwards, but as he watched they climbed back upwards to wrap around his hand.

Holding the Ditto was a really strange sensation, as if his hand was being consumed by jello, and Cam froze up as he tried to fight the urge to drop the slimy thing covering his hand. The Ditto urged him on again, his voice urgent. "We have to hide! They're still coming!"

Cam nodded and started moving, heading away from the approaching noises. His mind flashed to a possible hiding spot he had passed earlier - a hollowed out dead tree, one that had probably been blasted by lightning, where a cute Caterpie had climbed up to reach and feed off of the branch of a still living tree nearby. Cam had plenty of pictures of it and knew the tree would be large enough for him to fit in while the searchers passed by. The Ditto wobbled in his hand as he ran, and a few times Cam worried he had dropped the slippery Pokemon, his hand covered in pins and needles where the Ditto touched it, but they finally made it to the dead tree.

Cam used his free hand to push a collapsed side of the tree out of his way and wiggled inside. The wood collapsed back over him, falling inwards until it met the other side of the tree, and the photographer huddled in the darkness while the sounds grew louder. The tingling feeling in Cam's hand seemed to spread up his arm, and he resisted the urge to shift and scratch it. It was probably just nerves - confusion at everything that was happening, fear of being caught, the strange feeling of holding a Ditto in his hand. He tried to shut the feeling out of his mind and instead focused on the sounds outside.

The boots came nearer, but stopped at the sound of a phone ringing. There was an exasperated sigh, then a click, followed by a gruff voice. "Yah?..." A pause. "Nah, I ain't found nuthin' yet; I wuldda called ya if I had. I know how phones work! I thought I heard somethin', but I don't see nuthin' but trees 'round here." Another pause. "I know Dittos cain't turn inta trees, that's why I said I haven't found nuthin' yet!" Another pause, followed by an exasperated sigh. "I know the boss is angry, but I ain't the one who left his post to go grab lunch!" Another pause. "Fine! I'm heading back now; I'll be there in twenty." There was another click and a grumbling mumble, followed by the sounds of boots stomping away.

Cam tried to keep as quiet as he could during the phone call, even though the tingling feeling was slowly spreading over his entire body. His muscles felt unbelievably cramped, and his bones felt sore, more than they should for the short time he had spent hidden in the tree. The Ditto almost seemed to be glowing in the darkness, and Cam fought the urge to say anything until the sounds had faded.

Finally, he felt safe whispering. "I feel really strange... are you doing something? Some Pokemon move, or anything?"

The Ditto wobbled in his hand, a shake from one side to the other. "No... I was just trying to stay quiet. I didn't want us to get caught."

Cam reached up to move the wooden roof above his head. Light streamed back in, and as it did the strange feeling faded away. He looked around just to make sure nobody was waiting for them, then climbed out of the dead tree once he was sure it was safe. The feeling was completely gone by then and Cam dismissed it - it was probably just nerves.

"Well... it sounds like they've stopped looking for you."

The Ditto wobbled again, the strange face smiling. "It sounds like it! Thank you so much; he would have caught me for sure if it hadn't been for you!"

"Well... um... you're welcome, I guess! So... you'll be okay on your own now?"

The Ditto shook again. "I should be! I'll find somewhere to go from here." The Ditto started to move, as if it was going to slip out of Cam's hand, but it stopped suddenly and made a gurgling noise. A slight red color blended into the Ditto's gray appearance, which Cam recognized as a blush. "Um... Though... if it's not too much trouble, do you think you could spare some food?"

Cam grinned as he realized the gurgling noise was the Ditto's stomach rumbling. He knew a lab-kept Ditto would have trouble finding food in this forest so he reached for his pack. "Sure thing." Cam searched for the candy bar until he remembered he had eaten the last candy bar before running across the Ditto. "Actually... tell you what. I'm heading back home anyways, and I don't have any more food on me - do you want to just come with me? I can get you a real meal and you can rest some."

The Ditto seemed thrilled at that suggestion. "That would be great! You've helped me a lot already; you're sure it's not a problem?"

"Nah, it's no trouble. I live near here and have plenty of food at home, and it's not like you're that heavy." Cam didn't mention it but he also felt a strange reluctance to leave the Ditto. He felt sorry for the Pokemon - out in a strange forest all by itself with strange people chasing after it - but there was something more than that, something Cam couldn't put his finger on.

"Thank you!" The Ditto congealed back into Cam's hand, finding a more stable position; Cam put his pack on his back and the two set off through the forest.

After a few steps the Ditto spoke up again. "So... You live in this forest... um... I'm sorry; I don't think I got your name?"

Cam grinned. "Everyone calls me Cam. And yep! My house isn't far from here. It's technically my parents' house, but... they disappeared when I was a kid. My aunt took care of me while I was growing up, but now that I'm an adult I manage on my own. It's a nice place and this forest has a lot of neat Pokemon."

"Thank you again, Cam! In the lab I was called 'Subject Delta', but most of the time everybody called me Delta. You seem pretty familiar with this forest... do you come out here often?"

Cam stepped over a dead log and sheltered the Ditto - Delta - as he ducked under some branches. "Yep! I'm usually out here most days to photograph the Pokemon that live out here. I don't really need much money - my parents were pretty well off - but I like to photograph Pokemon, and a lot of companies will pay for that sort of thing, so you could say it's my job. Unless I'm sick or running into town for more film or food, I'm usually out somewhere stalking Pokemon for pictures."

"Ah..." The Ditto didn't have a head to nod with, but it sort of shook in Cam's hand in a vaguely up and down motion. "That sounds like it's a lot of work! Why do you do it, especially if you don't really need the money?"

Cam grinned again as he kept walking. "Cause it's fun! I like learning about different Pokemon, and seeing how they live. I've probably seen more Pokemon than anyone who isn't a trainer or a researcher, but I've also gotten to see them in ways nobody else has. I've seen Fearow building nests, I've watched Bidoof chewing dead trees to make dams, I've played with Nidoran, and I've had Venomoths come up to me to see what the flashes of my camera meant. Pokemon are fascinating creatures, and I love finding out more about them - err, I mean you."

Cam paused beside a berry tree he used as a landmark, catching his breath a little, and realized as he rested that he had just told all that to a perfect stranger. "Which now that I think about it, I've never met a Pokemon who could talk! I've only heard about Dittos though - is this something all of you can do?"

Delta shook again, though this time in a side-to-side negative motion. "Nope! Most Ditto's only learn one thing - how to Transform, to copy other Pokemon and use their moves - but something about the things that were done to me changed how I transform, and I think when they did it freed me up to learn other things. After that I learned how to mimic the speech of humans, and before long I started to understand what the different words and sounds actually meant. As far as I know I'm the only Pokemon that can speak human, but I think it's a move just like any other Pokemon move - when I transform, I sort of forget how to do it."

"That's... actually pretty cool, Delta!" Cam started walking again, leaving the berry tree behind. Home wasn't much farther away now.

The Ditto wobbled in Cam's hand, seeming happy that the human thought so. "Thanks! The people who held me captive didn't seem to appreciate it... they said it was creepy and they didn't like being around me anymore. That's actually how I was able to escape! They moved me to a room all by myself so they wouldn't have to hear me, and the last time they brought me food they didn't close the cage all the way so I was able to get out. I snuck into a vent and wandered around for a bit until I found a way outside."

"Good job on that! How did you even end up there, anyways? You mentioned you were kidnapped?"

"Um... yes..." Delta wobbled again, the motion seeming nervous. "To be honest... I don't really remember too much of what happened before I ended up there. I remember being with a trainer, and being with other Pokemon, and then a battle that we lost... and then I woke up in the facility with Pokemon I had never seen before. I don't know much else or even what my name was back then. I think what they did to me messed up my memory of things before that."

Cam looked down at the Ditto, feeling bad for the Pokemon. He hadn't wanted to be a trainer himself, but he knew they grew very close to their Pokemon; somebody must have been very upset to lose the Ditto. And it probably had hurt Delta a lot to lose its trainer, too. From its nervousness Cam suspected the Ditto remembered more but didn't want to talk about it, so he decided to change the subject. "You've mentioned the stuff they did to you a few times. Do you know why they were experimenting on you, or what they were trying to accomplish with you?"

"Oh! Yeah, they talked a lot to each other about what they were doing. Most of it I didn't understand - a lot of talk about chemicals and biology and big words I still don't know how to say - but they were trying to make 'the Ultimate Breeding Tool' with me and the other Dit... woah... Cam, is that your home?!"

Cam grinned at Delta's reaction, looking at the building through the last few branches. He brushed past them and stood on the soft lawn, just taking in the sight. "Yep!"

"You didn't say you lived in a mansion!" Delta pooled in Cam's hand and slithered upwards, getting a better look at the building. Cam's home was a mansion - it was a brick building with two stories and three wings, built around a driveway that headed off towards the street that headed to town. They had come in from the back, and off to the left an Olympic-sized pool could be seen glimmering in the afternoon sun. The wide lawn was kept clear of trees and the grass was neatly trimmed, and other than the pool house there was nothing obstructing the view of Cam's house.

"Well, like I said, it's really my parents'. And nobody else lives with me, so I barely use a tenth of the rooms. Oh; there is a cleaning crew that comes by once a week and makes sure the place isn't falling apart and takes care of the lawn, but other than that it's mostly just empty."

"But... still! It's huge! You could have Dragonite flying around in there!"

Cam grinned at Delta's surprise. "It's not that big, really... but there is plenty of food if you're still hungry!"

The Ditto wiggled again, once more reminding Cam of warm jello. "Yes please! Food would be wonderful! And... I believe you now that it wouldn't be any problem!"

Cam chuckled and walked the rest of the way to the mansion. He unlocked the back door by the pool and opened it to a small dining room area. A cabinet stood off to one side, holding various dishes and glasses, and a table rested in the center of the room's hardwood floor. The room was well lit by lights in the ceiling, though one of the bulbs had burned out yesterday and Cam had been too wrapped up in his work to replace it. Cam stepped inside and shut the door behind him, then set his pack and the Ditto down on the table. "Wait here - I have some PokeChow in the pantry for when the cleaning crew brings their Pokemon with them; it'll just be a minute."

"Okay! Thanks!" Delta wobbled again and looked around the room, taking it in. Cam grinned and started through the long hallways and rooms before arriving at the pantry. He dug around until he found the bag of PokeChow, then grabbed some bread and a jar of peanut butter before making his way back to where Delta was waiting.

"Here you go!" Cam grabbed a bowl and a plate from the cabinet, setting them on the table and filling the bowl with some of the PokeChow. He wasn't sure how much Ditto normally ate, or if there was some nutrition amount that should be measured out, but he figured it probably wouldn't hurt if Delta had too much for one meal, and he slid the bowl towards the Ditto.

He started putting his sandwich together and put Delta out of his mind. He usually ate a quick snack after his walks through the forest, taking the time to relax a little and sort through everything, and today was no exception. He started nibbling on his sandwich and sorted through the items in his pack. He dumped the film canisters on the table and counted them out to make sure none of them were missing, and then unloaded the last roll from his camera. He cleaned the lens of the camera with a soft wipe wrapped around a q-tip, made sure the batteries for the flash were still good, and did a quick clean of the rest of the camera to brush off any of the dirt and dust that had collected on it during the day.

When he was finished he put the lens cap back on and slid the camera back into the pack, then looked back over at Delta. To Cam's disappointment the bowl was completely empty, which meant Cam had missed the chance to see just how the blob-like Pokemon had managed to eat the crunchy pieces of food. "You ate that fast! Still hungry?"

Delta wobbled again, in what Cam was coming to learn was a 'no'. "Thank you, but I think I'm full for now. The food was really good! Much better than anything I ever got in the lab."

Cam smiled at the compliment. "Thanks! I've always wondered what Pokemon thought of the food they get, since it looks pretty bland. It's nice to know that it's tasty though; I feel better about feeding it to Pokemon now." Cam started gathering up the film canisters, stuffing them into his pocket as he rose from the table.

Delta noticed and slithered closer to Cam's side of the table. "What are those? I noticed you sorting them earlier, but you seemed busy and I didn't want to interrupt."

"Oh... these are film canisters! They're all the pictures I took today."

Delta looked at the canisters, its expression unconvinced. "They're so small though... how can you fit pictures in them?"

Cam laughed and shook his head. "Well... okay, they aren't pictures yet. It's just the film; the negatives. I have to develop them and then I'll have pictures, but until then they're just little strips of film."

The Ditto still didn't seem to understand, and wobbled over to poke one of the canisters with a tendril from its body. "Uhh... so... those are like PokeBalls? They hold large things in small spaces?"

Cam picked up the canister, a little worried the Ditto might damage the film. "Um... not really... tell you what; if you want, I can go develop these now, and show you how it works?"

"That'd be great... if it's not a problem, I mean? I'll make sure not to get in your way."

"It's no problem at all!" Cam was actually a little excited at the idea of showing somebody what he did. "It's going to be a little dark - the film can't be developed in light or it's ruined - but I'll show you what I can and talk you through the rest of it. My darkroom is just down the hall!" Cam slid the canisters into his pocket and scooped up the jello-like Pokemon from the table.

The Ditto wobbled in Cam's hand as he walked down the hallways, but in no time they had reached the door to the room Cam used to develop his pictures. He dug his key out of his pocket and unlocked the door, sliding inside the dimly lit room. Nobody was supposed to be in the house, but Cam was paranoid about his pictures, and he locked the door behind him before sliding Delta onto a shelf by the door. "Ta-da!"

The small room was dimly lit, with shelves along one wall, a desk against another and a work bench against the third. There were no windows, giving the impression that the room was originally a large closet (or maybe just a normal sized one for a mansion). Equipment covered the work bench - paper, tubs of liquid, tongs, easels, and even what looked like a microscope. The desk was cleaner on the surface, but papers and photos stuck out from the half-closed drawers. But the center of the room was clear, and it gave Cam plenty of room to walk around.

"This is where I develop the film into photographs. It takes me about two hours to finish all the rolls. I have to do part of it in the dark, but you'll be able to see the rest of it." Cam grabbed the rolls of film and set them up on the workbench, then flipped off the lights. The room fell into a complete darkness, so the Ditto wobbled and tried to make itself comfortable as Cam worked. After about twenty minutes the lights came back on and Delta found that the film had all been moved into large, dark canisters. Cam began explaining what he was doing to the Ditto, and Delta tried to pay attention, but too much of what Cam said was meaningless to it. Words like 'developer' and 'stabilizer' and 'exposure' meant nothing to the Ditto, and the blank or faded pieces of film paper that appeared occasionally didn't look like anything the Ditto recognized. Even when Cam said a roll was done and hung a bunch of papers above an empty tub to dry, there was nothing the Ditto could recognize.

But Cam finally finished developing the last roll and hung them on a string to dry. "And that's how you make photos! See? Look at this one!" Cam reached up to the first line he had hung to dry and unclipped a photo from it. It was no longer blurry smudges, but was instead a crisp, clear picture of a Swanna in the process of landing on a sparkling pond. "This was the first picture I took today. He was just grabbing a few minutes of rest before taking off again." Cam grabbed another picture and held it up, this one of the same pond, but featuring what seemed to be a lily pad in the center. "There's probably a better picture of this little guy but there was a Lotad hiding in the pond; it just stayed really still and floated with the water until the Swanna left. And then..." Cam reached for another picture, this one of a Zigzagoon at the shore of the pond, leaning in and lapping at the water. "...this cutie was... wa... uhh..."

Cam held the photo in his hand, but he was suddenly having trouble moving or even looking away from the photo. His entire body felt wobbly, as if he was suddenly made of jello, but no matter how hard he tried his arms wouldn't move. A wave of dizziness swept over him as the room tilted and loomed over him, and everything seemed to suddenly grow larger. The workbench, the walls and ceiling, the photograph he was holding... they all grew in his vision, and it was only after a terrifying second or two that he realized he was shrinking. He only had the barest instant to accept that before his legs collapsed and he fell to the floor, the photograph falling out of his hand and landing face up on the ground. The Zigzagoon in the picture remained just as focused on drinking as always, unable to react or care about the sudden change happening in the photographer.

Cam felt his skin grew even more and more wobbly as he continued to shrink, but he was finally able to move his eyes, and he looked up towards the shelf where the Ditto was. "What's... what's going on?!?" Cam's voice sounded odd, as if his throat was constricting and relaxing out of rhythm with his words, and he had trouble moving his mouth to get the words out.

The Ditto wobbled and slid towards the edge of the shelf before slipping over, a tendril of the goo-like Pokemon extending down towards the ground; as soon as it touched the floor the rest of the Pokemon followed like a slinky, and the Ditto pooled on the floor with its face looking towards Cam. "I'm so, so sorry... I didn't know it had gotten to you, or that it would go through a picture!"

Cam felt a pain in his fingers before he lost all feeling in them entirely, the shrinking flesh and bones merging into a shapeless blob. There was a thump sound as he felt his shoes fall off, his feet shrinking to the point where the shoes wouldn't fit anymore, and a strange tickling sensation ran against his skin as his shrinking legs brushed upwards against his pants. "What are you talking about? What do you mean, gotten to m-m-eek!" Cam squeaked out the end of his question as he suddenly felt his penis pull inside him, followed immediately by a tightening of his balls as they too were absorbed. Cam wasn't sure if the loss of his manhood was more disturbing to him than the shrinking or the loss of his limbs, but he knew he wanted all of them back.

The Ditto seemed to grow, but Cam knew he was just still getting smaller. "The thing they did to me at the lab... it's almost done, and I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen!"

"What are you... muh... furbl... mmph..." Cam suddenly lost the ability to speak as his mouth and nose melded together, replaced by what felt like wobbling skin. The shrinking sped up and Cam lost sight of the room as he shrunk into his shirt, the thin fabric more than enough to blot out the dim light of the darkroom. Cam felt helpless for what seemed like an eternity... then realized the shrinking had stopped. His body felt really, really strange. He couldn't feel his arms, or his legs, or his toes, or his fingers, or... anything. All he could feel was his skin, which seemed to wobble uncontrollably. He tried moving but all he could manage was to lean forward. It was enough though - he seemed to fall and roll forward, eventually breaking out through the neck of his shirt. Cam tried to speak again and found he could again, though his voice sounded tinny. "What's happening?! Am... Am I a... did you turn me into a Ditto?!?" He tried to look at himself and see, but he couldn't see his body - he had no neck to move or anything to hold up in front of his eyes.

Delta was still on the floor where he landed, but he wobbled in the negative. "No! Nothing like that! It's just how the process works! You turn into a Ditto first, and then the Transform happens!"

"What are you talking about?! What have you done to me??" Cam felt very helpless and freaked out as he tried desperately to move his blob like body. "Why are... wha... uhhh... I feel weird..."

"It's starting again! Just hold on, it's almost done!" Cam felt a tremor run through his body as his skin started to quiver and stretch. He couldn't tell what was happening... but as he felt himself change, he saw Delta begin to change too.

The first thing Cam felt was his body growing taller, and he watched as Delta grew larger too. At first he thought he was becoming himself again and that the whole strange experience was over. He felt limbs develop, four of them, and felt a lot better as he felt a spine again. The Ditto mimicked the changes, its body stretching and pushing outwards as it also formed limbs and a body. The Ditto's grayish skin started darkening towards a black color, and other changes started to form on the Ditto, but Cam could move his neck again and turned to look back at himself to see what was happening to his own body.

His hope that he was turning back into a human began to sink as soon as he did.

His earlier guess looked like it was right - he looked very much like a Ditto, though as he watched his skin changed from gray to a brownish color. His skin had the same rubbery texture that Delta's had, but all four of his limbs were developing downwards, forming underneath his body. His hands were developing at the end of his arms, but they were different from the hands he was used to. They were more a mix of hands and paws, actually rather cute and dainty, and tiny claws started to form at the end of the fingers as they split out. He flexed the limbs, watching them move and glad to have something vaguely familiar after the blob-like state he was just in. He had a flash of insight that the 'hands' would be just as useful for walking as for grasping things. He rested them on the floor, finding the feel of something against them rather comforting for some strange reason.

While he was pondering his hands - or paws? -things continued shifting within him. His body became firmer as more bones began to form, and he felt more confident about moving when he felt muscles begin to form again under his skin, giving him finer control over his fingers and legs. He tried to stand on his hind legs, and after he managed it with only a bit of unsteady wobbling he looked down at his chest.

A prickling sensation ran all over his body before he could really inspect his chest, and tiny hairs began sprouting everywhere he looked. They grew into furs, creating alternating zigzag patterns of brown and gray, and the part of his mind that focused on photography thought that the furry coat was actually rather cute and would photograph well. In fact, it looked familiar, as if he had seen it before...

"A Zigzagoon? I'm turning into a Zigzagoon?!" Cam's voice still felt distorted as his throat continued to change, but he ignored that and grasped at his fuzzy chest to feel the rough fur.

There was an amused chuckle from somewhere in the room, a voice almost as distorted as Cam's. "And a very cute one at that! You're a good photographer - sure know how to pick your subjects!"

Cam started to look up and ask what Delta was talking about, but before he could he felt a sharp pain at the base of his spine. He yelped and looked towards the feeling, seeing a bulge growing outwards from his still-forming butt. It began to grow fur as well, obscuring the view, but after a second or two Cam recognized it for what it was - a tail. It grew outwards, reminding Cam more of the top half of a pineapple from this angle, and when it finished Cam's body looked almost exactly like the Zigzagoon in the picture. He couldn't see his face, but it itched furiously as fur and a nose grew in on it.

Cam didn't have anything else to watch, though he still felt a general itching as if organs were still shifting and forming within him, so he tried to find Delta and demand answers. He looked up and found a poodle-like Pokemon with shaggy, jet black fur sitting where Delta had been. The Pokemon was larger than any Cam could remember, and it was only after the photographer realized he was smaller that he was able to place the other Pokemon. It was a Furfrou, and it was watching Cam with an interested gleam in its eyes.

"Delta?" Cam's voice still shook, but he wasn't sure how much of it was from his body's changes. Furfrou had always looked a little silly to him as a human, but now that he was a third of the poodle's size it was a much different story. Even standing up on his back legs Cam barely came up to the start of the Furfrou's neck.

"You know it!" The Furfrou smirked, but was evidently satisfied with that answer and didn't feel the need to say anything more.

After an uncomfortable second or two of silence, Cam demanded angrily. "What's happening?! Why did I turn into this?"

"It's, 'why are you turning into that' actually. We aren't done yet!" The Furfrou looked down Cam's body, its gaze stopping to linger between the Zigzagoon's legs.

Cam looked down as well, following Delta's gaze, and stared for a second or two before it clicked. Right! His manhood had disappeared when he had dissolved into goo... or... into a Ditto, or whatever had happened. He reached his hands down, feeling for it, wanting it back. While he searched Delta continued speaking. "But to answer your question... you're turning into a Zigzagoon because of what the scientists did to me! I told you, they were trying to create the perfect breeder. I'm not sure how it managed to spread to you... usually they have a psychic Pokemon do some stuff, but you did hold onto me for quite a while earlier, and nobody's ever really touched me when I wasn't Transformed before. But after I'm 'linked' to somebody else - person, Pokemon, whatever - if they see a female Pokemon, they Transform into it! Or at least their body does. The scientists were still working on getting their personality to change too but hadn't quite finished that part yet. And from the looks of it, even just looking at a picture of one is enough to cause it! And when they change, I turn into a Pokemon the original Pokemon fantasized about. Body, attributes, personality... whatever she dreamed about deep down inside, that's what I get to be. I guess the Zigzagoon you photographed must have had a real thing for Furfrou! And then we're stuck like that until we make an egg. Now that part can really suck sometimes - I once was stuck as a Magikarp for three days because that particular test subject didn't understand how Octillery mate. But this... this is much better. Won't have to worry about flopping helplessly around in a tank for a few days! And you look like you'll be a lot more fun than that Octillery turned out to be!"

Cam looked from his crotch up to the Furfrou, not really understanding everything he was hearing. "You mean... I'm supposed to... with you... like this?" His voice squeaked again, and he felt something stirring in his crotch, the itching between his legs as his body continued to change. He looked back down, expecting to see his penis again, or whatever Zigzagoon had - maybe a sheath, and his ballsack? He couldn't recall what they looked like on a Zigzagoon - it had never really been something he had paid much attention to before - but what he finally saw form was nothing like what he had been expecting.

Delta chuckled again. "Well, not quite like that..." As Cam watched his fur seemed to part under his tail and a slit began to form in the revealed skin. He reached a hand to poke at it but gasped at the strange, sensitive feel of it. He felt a tingling on his chest and even though he couldn't see through the fur, he felt rows of what could only be nipples begin to form. There was a slight falling sensation as he shrunk a little bit more, followed by another itching in his throat... and then the feelings stopped, leaving only the sensitive feeling from his hand on his crotch.

"I'm a... a... I'm a girl?! You turned me into a girl Pokemon?! And I'm supposed to... to make an egg??" Cam's voice was surprisingly high pitched, almost squeaky, as he - or rather she - was unable to help herself from poking at the edges of the entrance again. She looked up at Delta... and felt her face heat up in a blush.

The Furfrou hadn't been done changing either, and an enormous red length rose from between Delta's legs. Or at least it looked enormous to Cam - it looked like it fit just perfectly on the Furfrou's frame, but everything about the Furfrou seemed large to the small Zigzagoon. She took a half step back, seeing Delta grin deviously as she did. "Of course you're a girl. You're turning into a copy of that Zigzagoon you saw! We wouldn't want you to miss out on the fun bits now would we?"

"I'm not... You need to fix this! Change me back, right now!"

"Gladly! If you'll just turn around and raise your tail, maybe stand on your tiptoes a little, I would be more than happy to start you back on your way to being human again." Delta lifted a paw and made a 'turn around' motion with it.

"You mean you can... no! No, I'm not doing that!" Cam had actually started to turn before her mind caught up and she realized what the other Pokemon meant for her to do. She stopped and glared back at the Furfrou. "You can forget about that! There's no way I'm doing that with you!"

"Are you sure? You're an exact physical copy of that Zigzagoon, and I can tell just from looking at you that she's laid a few eggs herself. Given that you've got her body now I have a feeling you'll _really_enjoy the process!" Delta grinned again but Cam just glared back at him, and after a moment the Furfrou sighed. "Fine, fine. It's your choice. We'll just stay locked inside this room with no food, both trapped in forms that can't open the door."

Cam blinked and looked at the door, a sudden sinking feeling in her chest. The door _had_been locked behind them earlier, and the lock was much higher up the door than she thought she could get to. She walked up to the door and stood on her hind legs again, trying to reach up for the lock, but it was still far out of her reach. She tried shifting and stood on her tiptoes as she stretched her arm as far as she could reach, but it was still useless. She started to bring herself back down to the floor... but before she could move, she felt something wet and cold press up against her new slit.

She was shocked, a flutter going through her chest, and in the time she was frozen in shock she felt a long warm tongue slide along the entire length of her slit. It was an amazing feeling, and a sharp contrast to the colder air, and she shivered. She lost her balance as a result, and fell down to the floor, landing on her back. She was treated with a view of Delta standing above her, his nose resting right where her butt had been, his tongue still half hanging out of his mouth. She glared at him angrily. "What was that?!"

"Hey, it's my first time being a Furfrou! You'll have to forgive me, they have amazing_noses, and you just smelled so _good. I think when you Transformed it put you in heat, if Zigzagoon go through that. Probably to make sure you're able to make an egg right away. I know humans don't use their noses that much, but try and concentrate. You must be able to smell it too..." The Furfrou's expression was smug, and he lifted his nose into the air and sniffed pointedly.

Cam couldn't resist and took a deep sniff of the air. Her sense of smell was a lot better than it had been, and she could make out the smell of something coming from her, a tangy smell that was hard to describe. But the thought of her own smell was pushed from her head as she caught the smell of something much, much better... coming from... from...

She sniffed a few more times, trying to pin down the musky scent... and her eyes widened as she realized it was coming from the Furfrou. She felt her body grow warmer, followed by an itchy sensation between her legs. It had actually been there since she had first poked her slit, but she had just ignored it, not being familiar enough with a female body to know what it meant. But the feeling grew too strong to ignore as she breathed in the strong scent of the male Furfrou this close to her... hovering above her... his bright red cock standing out brilliantly against his black fur, bobbing just out of her reach...

Delta smirked as he watched her, a smug look on the poodle's face. "Oh... and I guess I have a pretty strong smell too, now that I think about it." He started to lean forward, his nose and tongue heading towards the Zigzagoon's nethers, promising more of that wonderful sensation she had just felt...

She shook, breaking herself out of her reverie, and growled at the Furfrou. "I said no!" She felt her muscles stiffen, and something in her fur gleamed under the dim light. Her instincts took over and she felt a jerk, followed by the sound of shattering glass... and then everything went dark.

Cam jumped to her feet, huddling down against the floor. "What happened?! Why is it dark?"

There was a tired sigh, and Delta's voice came from somewhere in the darkness. "You tried to nail me with a pin missile attack, would be my guess. I can't be completely sure of that, because you seemed to have missed me entirely... but since there's shattered glass on my back and the lights are out, I have the feeling you did manage to hit the light bulb."

Cam looked around her, desperate to make out anything in the darkness, but it was impossible to make anything out. "So... so... what do we do now?"

Delta's voice came from Cam's left this time. "Oh... I guess we just hang out in this room. By ourselves. In the dark."

Cam tried to move... and ended up bumping into the door. Or maybe it was the wall. It was impossible to tell in the darkness. Worse yet, because she couldn't see anything, her other senses were becoming stronger. Her sense of hearing, her sense of taste.

Her sense of smell, which forced the Furfrou's scent into her mind.

Her sense of touch, which caused the itching feeling to become harder and harder to ignore.

She hissed and tried to distract herself from it. "I don't like that plan. You can't think of any way to get out?" She started feeling the wall with her fuzzy hands, her claws skittering over them as she tried to find something that might let her out.

"I can think of one way to get out." Delta's voice had moved again, this time farther away and from her right.

She looked towards the sound even though she couldn't see anything. "You can?"

"Sure. A human could just open the door. We get you human again and then bam, we're clear. Of course, to do that..."

Cam felt another blush under her fur, but this time instead of dismissing it right out of hand she considered it. The itch... the smell... the darkness... it was all starting to feel overwhelming. Would it really be that bad? She could let him do his thing and change back, then forget all about this.

"You did tell me you liked learning more about Pokemon, about seeing glimpses of their lives. Just think of this as an opportunity to get the chance to learn a little more about Zigzagoon, something nobody else would know about..." The voice was right behind her this time, and she felt her fur stand on end from surprise.

Cam scrabbled uselessly against the wall, then dropped her paws back down to the floor. "Fine... fine, just get it over with."

She immediately felt her tail pushed to one side as Delta's tongue licked against her slit once again. She gasped, the sound seeming surprisingly loud in the small, dark room. The tongue vanished as quickly as it had appeared, but it left a lingering wet feeling on her crotch. She wasn't entirely sure the feeling was just from Delta's saliva. "Aw, what kind of attitude is that? 'Just get it over with'? I can smell how much you want this, I can taste it... just relax, and stop trying to tell yourself you hate this." Delta's nose teased against her folds again, pushing just inside her before pulling back out.

She couldn't help herself and whimpered at the sudden loss of sensation. Without thinking she pushed backwards, trying to feel his nose again, and managed to bump into it again. "See... that's more like it. Just let yourself enjoy it. It'll be fun... I'm everything your body dreams about."

Cam let out a squeak as she felt a paw push her backwards, the force stopping her at where she thought was right underneath the Furfrou. It was still too dark to see anything... but she felt the paw move underneath her, brushing against her nipples before raising her butt up into the air. Before she could do anything else there was something warm and hard poking at her entrance, circling the edges of her tunnel. She suddenly remembered the sight of the Furfrou's cock, remembering how impossibly large and thick it seemed. She squirmed, though with another blush she realized she wasn't sure if she was squirming to get away from the large member or squirming to get it inside her. Delta's voice came from above and in front of her. "I've never done this in the dark before... but I have to say, so far it seems nice. Your body feels so much warmer than I'd expect, squirming against me like that, your pussy so much wetter, your moans so much fuller... Heh... I didn't think Zigzagoons normally made noise during sex... that must be from you? Maybe it's a good thing the scientists hadn't managed to get your personality to change... Feel free to keep it up."

Cam gasped, suddenly realizing she had been moaning while the Furfrou teased her entrance with his tip. She spent a brief second in embarrassment before deciding that it felt too good to worry about and let another moan escape her. "Stop teasing me and put it innnn..." Cam whined the last word, wriggling her hips again to try and get more of the hard flesh into her sensitive pussy.

Cam heard Delta chuckle once before she felt the Furfrou's length slide into her. She gasped at the strange sensation, feeling deliciously stretched around it, feeling it reaching impossibly deep within her... and still sensing there was more to it as his tapered tip bumped up against something inside her. She hissed in pleasure, feeling impossibly full, feeling the best pleasure of her life... and then feeling the pleasure double as the cock slid backwards, the firm flesh pulling at her inner walls as he slid out of her. She felt sadly empty for a long second... then the cock rammed back into her, driving another gasp from her throat.

She tried to push back against the thrusts, tried to drive him deeper within her, tried to spread herself even wider around the Furfrou's shaft... but she could do little more than squirm as he held her up into the air and against his body. The poodle Pokemon had complete control and held her steadily in place as he drove into her again, and again, and again...

She felt a strange pressure inside her as the pleasure grew greater and greater. Her moans and gasps turned to yelps of pleasure, and she became vaguely aware of grunts and gasps of pleasure coming from above her. Cam realized from the sounds that Delta was close to cumming, and the thought managed to turn her on even more. The pressure inside her became overwhelming, each thrust from the Pokemon above her building it higher and higher... until finally it exploded, overwhelming her body with waves of pleasure. She lost any care about what was happening as every part of her body tingled with warmth, pleasure, bliss, relief. In the back of her mind she realized she was making an embarrassingly loud high pitched squeal, that the Furfrou had filled her completely, that a warm liquid was filling her tunnel... but she didn't care about that one bit, far too lost in the sensation of her orgasm. She didn't care that her mouth was hanging open, she didn't care when the Furfrou slid her gently to the ground, didn't care when his cock slipped from her, didn't care about the juices that dripped from her gaping entrance to soak into her fur or spill on the floor. She was aware of all these things on some level but simply didn't care, simply too overwhelmed by the feeling running over her body.

She wasn't sure how long she lay there in the complete dark. There was nothing for her to measure time with - no clock to see, nothing she could hear over her panting and her beating heart. Her whole world consisted of the pleasure in her body and the cool floor beneath her, and her mind drifted on the waves of pleasure for what felt like eternity.

But eventually the pleasure began to fade, dying down to a general tingling feeling. She let out a contented sigh, her breath still quick, just fine with laying there and letting her exhausted body rest... until she felt an aching in her chest and back. She squirmed, trying to ease the pain, but nothing helped until she rolled onto her back. She felt over her chest to try and learning what was causing the feeling, still unable to make out anything in the total darkness, but gasped when she brushed her fingers over one of her nipples. It felt unbelievably sensitive... and... her chest felt like it was sloping upwards under her hand, something she didn't remember before. She followed the slope of her chest with her hand, and was surprised to find her belly was expanding, already large but still pushing her raccoon-like hand upwards.

On instinct she looked around to try and find Delta, but she had no idea where he was in the darkness. "What... what's happening?"

A voice came from somewhere to her right. "Hm? Oh! You're pregnant."

"I'm... what?! But we just... you just... how have your sperm even found the egg yet?" Cam put both hands on her belly, unbelieving.

"What? I don't know; you'd have to ask the scientists that messed with me. Eggs are laid in only a matter of minutes after we finish." There was a notable lack of concern in Delta's voice, as if he was discussing the weather in another city. "Oh! But once you're done you'll turn back to a human again; you'll probably be glad about that part."

Cam heard something else from where Delta's voice came, a repeating slurp noise. It was only after a few repeats of the sound that Cam realized the Furfrou was licking something - probably himself. It was confirmed when Delta's voice came from the darkness one more time. "You know, your juices taste pretty good. You must have been really excited; my cock is_soaked_."

Cam felt herself blush in embarrassment. She started to say something back when a sudden spasm went through her and she gasped instead. A few seconds passed in which she panted and tried to catch her breath, but another spasm ran through her before she could. She felt something large inside her, larger than the Furfrou's shaft, painfully large and wide. She spread her legs as wide as she could just as another spasm hit her, the object inside her sliding a little farther down. She remembered all the television programs that dealt with births, such as women trapped in an elevator, but all she could remember of them was that they kept telling the woman to push.

It was still something to try though, and when the next spasm hit she pushed as hard as she could, trying to squeeze the object out of her. She felt it move further through her passage, slipping closer to the exit, but it felt wider at the back and she panted as she realized it was going to get a lot harder before it got easier.

The spasms came, and she pushed, and more spasms came, and she pushed harder, and she panted and whimpered as she felt herself stretched painfully wide... but finally, finally, she felt the widest part of the object slip out of her, and the small bit left followed easily. She lay there, panting, her exhausted body pushed to its limits, before finally gathering the strength to feel around for the object. The egg she had just laid. She grasped randomly in the dark before she finally found it, her hand grasping the hard surface, still slick from her juices and the remainder of Delta's jizz. She pulled it to her and held it against her chest, still unable to believe what had just happened.

In the back of his mind Cam thought about getting up, about getting ready to transform back into a person and get out of the room, about finding something to do about the strange Ditto and this new problem with looking at female Pokemon... but with all she had just been through, she couldn't bring herself to move. She just lay there, cuddling around the egg, before she drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

Her last thought was of hoping the egg hatched a boy Zigzagoon.

Status Update - Report 142

Subject Delta has escaped. Evidence at this point suggests its cage was left unsecured by a guard after being fed lunch, and that the Ditto escaped through the air vents. We were not advised of the escape until several hours had passed, during which time two of the guards attempted to recapture the escapee rather than report its escape. They were unaware of Delta's significance as compared to the other Dittos in the facility, but their failure is still inexcusable. They are being detained and questioned, along with the researchers, but at this point there does not seem to have been any conspiracy - only incompetence.

We are searching the surrounding areas for the subject now, but our efforts are hampered by our need to remain unnoticed.
