A Dragon for Christmas Part Seven: Bonding

The next day, Kilmor was woken by the wolf parents. He had shifted a little and remembered that he was still in a dirty diaper. Roger and Laura made short work of this as they tied him to the changing table and changed into a fresh one. He was led to the dining room, where he was strapped into his high chair.

Laura left to go get Tyson up while Roger stayed with Kilmor. The wolf father looked at his watch.

"They should be leaving after breakfast is done," he spoke as he got out jars of baby food for Kilmor.

The black dragon gave Roger a confused look. "What are you talking about?"

Roger smirked. "Yup, should be a good day, just you and me."

Kilmor shuddered. After what had happened yesterday, he didn't want to be left alone with this psychotic wolf.

Soon the whole family was eating breakfast, with Laura feeding Kilmor a jar of bananas. As she went to unscrew a second jar, she looked over to Tyson.

"You remember what today is sweetie?" she asked.

Tyson stopped chewing and thought for a moment. His face lit up, undoubtedly remembering what was going on today. "That's right! We get to go shopping."

He looked over at Kilmor, whose face was covered in banana mush. After some giggling, Tyson asked his mother: "Mommy, can we take Tyler with us?"

Kilmor was at first concerned with this idea, but soon his anxiety turned to hope. This might be his chance to escape! He could almost imagine himself back home with.....

But of course Roger had to come in and crush Kilmor's dreams. "Sorry, buddy. But Tyler and I are going to have a father-son day today. Maybe next time."

Kilmor sighed. "Oh joy. Just the one thing I need is bonding time with 'Daddy'," the dragon thought to himself as more mushed bananas were shoved into his mouth.

The conversation was stopped there and everyone continued eating. Soon breakfast was over and Laura and Tyson were getting ready to leave. Kilmor was on the floor in the living room playing with blocks. Roger sat on the couch and watched him. The two eyed each other until mother and child came to see them.

"We'll be back in the afternoon. Have a good day you two!" Laura said as she kissed her husband goodbye. Meanwhile Tyson was giving "Tyler" a hug.

"Sorry you can't go with us, Tyler. But maybe you can next time!" Tyson smiled at his younger brother.

Laura took Tyson's hand and the two left out the front door. But not before Tyson stopped to give Kilmor a wave.

"Bye bye!"

As the door closed, Kilmor immediately turned his gaze to Roger. The wolf and the dragon stared at each other in silence until one of them spoke.

"Do I really need to stay like this now," Kilmor spoke as he started to get to his feet. "I mean the kid's gone. I don't think I need to keep up appearances for you."

Roger just sat there, a strange look in his eye. He finally got up and went to the kitchen, without saying a word to Kilmor.

Kilmor waited, listening carefully. He knew that Roger was up to something. And he wasn't going to stick around to find out.

He crept slowly towards the front door, stopping every so often. He was about to reach the doorknob and turn it when a creak came from behind him. Kilmor's instincts kicked in and he jumped to the left, dodging Roger's attempt to tackle him.

As Kilmor recovered, he noticed an object in the wolf's left hand. It was a syringe. It didn't take long for Kilmor to realize what was happening.

"Get out of my way, you son of a bitch!" Kilmor yelled.

Roger growled. "You think I'm going to let you ruin my son's happiness!? You are staying here...forever!!"

The wolf charged Kilmor a second time. He thrust his left arm forward, trying to poke Kilmor with the syringe. The dragon took this opportunity to grab the wolf's wrist. He struggled to keep the needle away from his skin. The two pushed against each other, trying to gain the upper hand. Kilmor was beginning to tire and the needle moved closer and closer to his arm. Quickly, Kilmor twisted Roger's wrist, making the syringe fly out of his paw and fall on the ground. With his remaining strength, Kilmor pushed Roger away toward a nearby wall. The door was only a few feet away. Now was his chance.

Suddenly, Roger pulled out his gun. "Don't. Freaking. Move." He was breathing heavily.

Kilmor stopped. Sweat trickled down his face.

"Is it worth it to you, keeping your son happy and delusional!? What the hell is wrong with you!?!?"

"You....don't.....know me," Roger panted. "You have no clue what my life was like..."

"I don't give a shit!" Kilmor replied loudly. "That doesn't give you the right to kidnap me and make me your prisoner! You are one screwed up father to be doing this to your own child! I'm not going to keep this charade up anymore!!"

Kilmor had started to make his way for the door when a loud bang went off. Kilmor was prepared for the agonizing pain and the bleeding. But nothing came.

He looked over to his arm, expecting to see a hole but all he found was a dart. His eyes grew wide as he started to get drowsy. His hand was gripping the door knob as he sunk to the floor.

Roger walked over, crouching next to the dragon.

"Come on now son. I thought you loved spending time with Daddy."

Those were the last words he heard as everything went black.

*************************************************************************************

Kilmor opened his eyes to find himself in his bedroom. He was strapped down to the changing table, but he was on his stomach this time. He still felt woozy from the dart.

Suddenly a loud smack entered his ears and he immediately shrieked from the oncoming pain. He tried looking behind him. He saw Roger holding a wooden paddle in his paws.

"You shouldn't have tried to defy me, buddy boy." Roger hissed as he raised the paddle. "You could have made things easier if you just let me prick you. This even wouldn't be happening if you hadn't fought back. But hey, that's your choice I guess."

The paddle made contact with Kilmor's rump again. Kilmor yelled out, even louder than before.

The spanking went on for what seemed an hour. Kilmor was in tears by the time it was over. His butt was sore and his body was still feeling the effects of the dart.

Roger took a deep breath. He set the paddle aside, pulled Kilmor's diaper back up, and grabbed a nearby baby bottle. He moved over to Kilmor's front and stuck the rubber nipple into the dragon's mouth. Kilmor was too exhausted to fight back so he started nursing on the bottle. He found his throat to be dry and in no time the bottle was empty. Roger removed it and set it aside. He unstrapped Kilmor from the table and moved him to the crib. Kilmor couldn't even struggle anymore. He was laid down in the crib and the bars were brought back up. Roger chained Kilmor's left and right leg to the crib. He then taped the dragon's hands together. Before he left, he placed three full baby bottles and a stuffed raccoon into the crib.

"It's too bad, Tyler. Daddy really wanted to have fun with you today. But you acted very naughty today. Naughty children get punished." Roger turned the lights off and shut the door, locking it from the outside.

Kilmor lay in the darkness, his bottom sore. He started to nurse on another baby bottle until nothing was left. He wanted to cry, but he was too tired to even shed tears.

He was so close to escaping, so close to leaving this nightmare. But he had failed. And who knew when he would get another chance.

Kilmor started nursing on his third bottle. He could hear Roger's voice in his head: "_You are staying here......forever!!"_He could feel the front of his diaper getting wet.

But something else was troubling Kilmor. It was something Roger had said during their fight.

"You don't know me. You have no idea what my life was like."

What would cause a man to go to such desperate measures to ensure that his child was kept happy? Kilmor was too drained to think about it.

As he reached for his last bottle, he saw the stuffed raccoon. It was just a normal stuffed animal, yet simply looking at it kept Kilmor at ease. He instead grabbed the stuffed animal and placed it by his side. He reached for the bottle and started to nurse. Once he finished, he grabbed the raccoon, hugging it close to his chest as he drifted off to sleep.
