When the wind calms and the rain stops for the first time in weeks, Sunshine looks out her window and frowns at the clear skies and the bright blue color. Clouds as fluffy as her pillows on her bed, she looks back at her bed with a sad face.
Sunshine mumbles to herself, "why did it have to stop raining, I love the rain."
She walks over to her wall mirror and looks into it. Her hair a mess, as she tries to flatten the fluff on her head. Her hair was a nice light cream in color, long fluffy fur. Ears very large and perky with strands of hair sticking up off of them. She looked behind her as she wiggled her tail lightly to see if it needed brushing, and as always, it did. Nice thick and long fur on her overly large tail, a few strands fall to the ground as she wags it.
"Guess I better get that brushed before work." Sunshine walks quickly over to her nightstand to grab her brush and starts to brush her tail first before moving on to her hair on her head. She quickly runs to the bathroom and gets dressed as she hears someone at the door downstairs.
"I'll be right down Logan!" She yells as she slips on her black heels. No answer from downstairs as she grabs her bag off her chair by the bedroom door and goes downstairs to see why Logan wasn't even offering to help her with her stuff. She turns the corner from the stairs going to the front room as she runs right into something tall and very hard, falling backwards to the ground, she looks up to someone other then Logan. Unsure whether to be scared that there is a stranger in her house or at the fact she is going to be very late to work if Logan doesn't show up soon. Looking at him from the ground, he looked even more taller then he really was, standing almost as tall as the door frame was, dark in color, scales of a dark blue and black. Eyes the color of frozen ice on a cold winter's night, a dark smile played on his face as the dragon man looked down at her. His voice came to hear ears as a cold shiver ran down her back.
"Hello there, Miss Bethany." Holding his hand out to help Sunshine up he continues, "It's a nice day out, where are you going this find day? Surely you don't have anything too important to be going to because you're not going to be able to make it today, I am sorry to say."
Still not sure she should be even talking to him, "Who do you think you are, coming into my place without even knocking? And where is Logan?" withdrawing his hand he turns to the window and looks out it for a moment before replying.
"I am sorry to say Logan won't be joining us anytime soon..."
