Birth of the First Age

The constant battles and skirmishes have the stricken the plains of Halmloore for countless years. The nations fought over such things as land, cultural beliefs, and political status. This constant state of battle had left the southern plains and northern woodlands scorched and pillaged, the populous was beginning to ration food as the local farmers were called upon to fight their lord's battles.

So as to amend to relations and food supplies of the war torn regions the three greatest nations called for conference with the lords and imperialists of the regions. The Kings of the southern dwarvish ranges , The Chiefs of all the great tribes of the plains and forests, The Leaders of each dragon clan below the Icefire range, The kealthorn orcs, the vulpine and wood elf provinces, and last but not least the Hearthland Governor were all called into council with Emperor Lunesilv of the Great grey/red Lupine kingdom, The Imperial General Streakind of Avian Floating Mountains, and The High King Redscale of the Elder Dragons. If a deal could not be struck between the nations then the annexation of war seeking nations would start.

The conference of 24 nations last less then tree days save for the twelve it took to bring the leaders together. The final decision was to form the Confederation of Halmloore with each individual nation having their own ruler but eac having to take orders from the Three High Kings. While the outlying elven, kreathorn, ursine, southern and western islands were left out of the joining.

The reason for the exclusion of these nations is for the good of all. Since these nations would most likely have conflict with others in the Confederation. Now that a form of peace had been established the kings established the capital in the heart of the floating avian mountains, as it was most defendable.

Though the newly formed confederation had brought peace to its own nations, the outlying nations had drastically increased the amount of defenses around their boarders, some even refused to trade with the Confederation in sheer fear of them. Though nothing would come of their fears in their life time at least. The last thing to come with the unification was a Universal year 1 as to have all calendrers synced to the same day and year thus beginning the first age.
