#3 of the Fox of Cendalath

The world of Syio, were foxes rule. Felix a former soldier discovers a plot by the humans to assassinate the royal family.

But at the same time he must balance his life as a prince and his love interest. Falling in love with a famous musician Leon isn't your ordinary Dalmatian in fact he's a Mage; a long forgotten magic user.

Chapter 3

Leon had convinced Felix to get involved in a charity that offered free food to the homeless in the small town of Akrid. A small shop called the Café Delight had three long tables an old painting on the wall of Luico holding the Sword of Cendalath, the chairs weren't great but the homeless didn't seem to mind. The cold chill in the air flowed through the door and into the fox's face making him flinch. The weather report said it was going to be a cloudy day with a slight chance of rain. A human child came up to him with a bowl. He poured the soup. "May Iros be with you." "Thank you, how come my mummy and daddy aren't allowed to work?" The girl asked. Felix had to think fast and never thought he'd had to explain it but fate is cruel. "I'm afraid I don't have the answers it lies within the people of Cendalath, a king doesn't make decision but relies on his followers to put him in the right path." "Wow great speech Foxy!" Leon said. "Should get ya to do public speaking." "I don't understand it." "You will in time." As the girl walked away and it made Felix feel conflicted about his views on the human race. His mind was fighting itself on it trying to understand it. Most of his duties were handing out blankets and hot beverages, for him it was nice helping the poor and most of the humans had flee from Folith but he treated them with respect. Two people came to relive them so they went for a walk around the town, most of the buildings had broken windows and graffiti on the walls and seeing families left on the streets broke his heart, a human had been following them as they talked about his Father. He turned down a dark alley way and sensed multiple scents of humans, he opened his jacket reaching for the P90 submachine gun. The tall ruined buildings defiantly suggested to him it was going to be a close quarter's fight.

"Uh... I think we should go back." Leon whispered in Felix's long ear as the Humans surrounded them yelling death to the prince.

"We are the rightful rulers of this world!" The man ranted. "Dal stay close to me, and cover your eyes." He reached into his pocket to grab the flash bang. He pulled the pin as he threw it on the ground. A white flash blinded the humans. Leon held Felix's paw tight as they ran into an old abandoned shop.

"One things for sure there not homeless." "How can you tell?" "See that symbol?" He pointed at the shield with a sword in the middle. "Oh crap! Is that the symbol of Foliths military?!" He gave Leon an USP .45 pistol with three magazines.

"No Felix!" "Look I knew this was going to end in a firefight, they hidden their guns under something." Leon lowered his muzzle and threw the gun at the fox. "I won't kill anyone! It's not fair!" Felix placed his P90 submachine gun down on the ground and placed both paws on the Dalmatians shoulders. "Snap out of it! This isn't a game." Tears welled in Leon's eyes and Felix felt bad about what he had said. He picked up the submachine gun to return fire. "Felix..." "Leon, let's talk about this later!" He tossed the radio to Leon. "Call for back up, there's-" A human charged with a knife at Leon, Felix quickly moved and fired 3 shots at the human aiming for the chest. The attacker dropped to the ground but was still moving so Felix walked over to the man staring down at him with the gun pointed at the man's head as he pulled the trigger. The knife had hit Leon in the right hip just above the pelvis and needed medical attention immediately but that was easier said than done when bullets are flying at you and the only thing the Dalmatian could do was to pull the knife out.

Oh shit he's been hit! Syio fucking dammit! He told himself.

Leon was in a state of shock. This person was different from the fox he had met in the elevator at Lucky Dog Apartments. "Leon..." he lay down suppressive fire. "I know things are fucked up right now. Just call General Russel!"

Leon did as the fox had asked and more enemy reinforcements came. The fighting seemed to never end and it remind him of being stuck with Sabastian during Operation Frost Storm. The sounds of the engines of a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter arrived bringing a sign of relief.

The radio crackled. "Viper actual watch your fire you have friendlies inbound."

"Roger." The marines in the Black Hawk laid down heavy fire from the M134 mingun emplacement on the helicopter as it circled the area forcing the enemy to retreat.

"Princess you all right? Delta force 2-5 were here to pull you out!" The wolf yelled.

"Apart from nearly running out of ammo I'm great!" he joked. Felix rushed over to Leon helping him up on to the black hawk. The Dalmatian moved his paw away from the fox. He felt he was at fault if he didn't intervene the cost of losing him was too high.

"Leon let me-" "Don't want to hear it!" he growled.

He looked down at the cold metal floor of the helicopter in sadness how could he justify it to him? It was something he'd never want Leon to see at all. The helicopter took off as the ground forces secured the area and they headed to the Good Dog Bad Dog bar for the rendezvous. The flight took fifteen minutes. Giving him some time to reflect how chaotic the day turned out after such a good start. Leon sat opposite Felix in the centre seat with marines both side of them and tried to make conversation with him but it wasn't happening as the Dalmatian ignored him.

He noticed a wound on Leon's left hip as they touched down to get out of the black hawk.

"Leon wait!" He tried to catch up to him as they disembarked the helicopter. "Wha- ow!" He growled. He drew a breath. "Let me explain but first you need medical attention." "Fuck! It hurts!" Leon complain in agony. "I saved your life-" Sabastian rushed over to them helping Leon up. "For Iros sake! Stop this, Leon go with Ray and he will treat your wound." He pointed to the wolf who placed the Dalmatians arm over him for support as they entered the building. "Thanks..." The silver fox took Felix outside were they watched the helicopter leave. Felix was feeling like he had been a horrible boyfriend to Leon and opened a bottle of Wild Turkey. He stood on the decking outside the bar overlooking the water resting his arms on the railing.

Great just fucking great Felix you fucking dick head! He told himself. "Felix let's talk," Sabastian says placing a paw on his shoulder. "And get rid of that drink." "Why can't..." He took a huge gulp of the drink. "He understand?" "He doesn't understand what a soldier has to deal with and it is hard for us to explain to our loved ones." Sabastian tried to take the bottle away from Felix but he moved the drink away from him.

He fearing that Leon would break up with him as he waited for hours for the psychiatrist to finish so he could see him again. Felix walked into the function room a bar was off to the side on his left and the empty room greeted him with silence, before he could enter a drifting holy scent appeared from behind him. "I wouldn't talk to Leon right now he is still in shock." He rubbed his head. "How am i going to fix this? He is angry at me and I feel like I'm the unluckiest person in the world." "This is love Felix, you can't expect it to be perfect but every relationship does have its ups and downs."

He finished the rest of the Wild Turkey throwing it at the wall in anger, maybe it would of been better if he hadn't gone to the cornantion at all and stayed at Delta Hound instead. Iros talked to him more about what happened but that didn't help Felix feel any better as he behind the bar. "You know that is a sin thou shall not kill." He made the silver fox a Midori Illusion cocktail. "I took a life but I saved one, wouldn't you do the same if it was your loved one in Leon's place?" Her ears were flat and Felix had touched a subject that hurt her feelings. "I - wasn't fast enough to..." She sat herself on the red velvet bar stool. "Don't say it," he put a paw up "I know that feeling, knowing you could of done something to prevent it like the two cubs I couldn't save I still regret it two this day but we didn't have the man power or the time to pull it off as they... Executed them," tears rolled down his eyes remembering the promise he made to the two cubs who he couldn't save.

That was one mission he dreaded to talk about and it was his first before he was a sniper, there's probably no way to justify killing a person but what if it was an unusual situation? They talked more about the commandment thou shall not kill, Felix believed in the church's teachings but it conflicted with a hostage situation or defending yourself. Hours passed until Leon walked out of the room towards the two fox's. "How are you feeling?" Felix asked but he could tell that the Dalmatian was still in shock. "I think it is best for you to give him some space." She lowered her voice. "What do you mean Iros?" "You know exactly what I mean." Felix kneeled down to get a present from the safe, it was supposed to be for Leon's birthday but he wanted to give it to him to say sorry and didn't know how to. He entered the four digit code and the thought of them breaking up crept slowly into his mind and horrified him, maybe she was right about them needing some space. "Felix don't give it to him yet." Iros placed a paw on his shoulder. "Look I know it is hard but trust me... well think back what it was like for you when you first pulled the trigger at a person."

The whole bar was on lockdown and everyone was kitted with combat gear thanks to Felix's secret armoury underneath the basement. General Russel relayed orders to him via his pager to stay at the bar so command could identify who the attackers were but the fox knew it was Folith's army that did it and Cendalath Intelligence was pursing every lead they could find and the TRF were assigned to protect the Royal Family.

"Seven! What the fuck? I get a report of shooting in Akrid only to find out you going all cowboy like?!" General Russel said as he stormed in. Felix got up and pored the German Sheppard a drink of Wild Turkey. "What can I say? I'm one handsome Fox!" "Sir from what I could gather from Mr Lorenz that he said they had a shield with a sword on it." Iros interrupted. Russel took a gulp of the turkey. "Could be the sons of Folith?" "Military grade gear, there's no way they could organize an attack on that scale too many to count... To me it looked like a whole battalion." Felix said as he tighten his bandanna. "You're positive that it was the Folith military?" "Yeah." "Well we will have to question the ambassador, in the mean time you and Mr. Lorenz say put." "I want to fuckin help! I can't stand on the side lines waiting for it to happen." General Russel sighed. "Look I know how you feel it is too risky for you to go out in the field." "Fine."

He turned on the fifty inch plasma television and it was the world cup final between the Silver Flyers vs the Cendalath Hounds, Leon could hear the game but feeling angry at Felix as he entered the room and sat down on the red velvet bar stool next to the silver fox. Even for Iros could see the tension between the two and Felix tried to cheer the Dalmatian up but nothing was working so he lied down on top of the bar shirtless. "What team you go for Dal?" Leon ignored him. Huh he's still angry at me, what can I do to fix it? Nothing probably. Today started out great until that fucking attack by the humans, fifty bucks says it's going to escalate into a war. He thought to himself. "How's the wound?" No response came from him. "The knife missed major organs and I used some of my healing spells on him so he should be fine but I recommend getting a doctor to look at it." "Thanks Iros." As they watched the game the Cendalath Hounds scored the first goal and making Felix cheer. It was hard to tell how Leon was feeling and he hated that he couldn't justify it in any means. "Dam it! My team didn't make it to the Grand Final!" Iros shouted. "Didn't know you were into sports, I thought you be full on in religion." "I do enjoy it but I have other things to do in my down time." He got up from the bar to get water and offered Leon a glass but he knew the Dalmatian would either punch him or throw the water on him, even if he did punch Felix wouldn't react to it.

"Leon here some water, look I know your ignoring me and there is nothing I can do to help you but I know what you felt. When it was my first time pulling the trigger, I had taken a life in a matter of seconds and it was the hardest thing I've ever done." "... Thanks for the water fox." "Anytime dal."

Leon chucked the water on him soaking his fur and dark chocolate brown slacks, for him he'd deserved it for putting him through that so instead He returned with a smile. Word had come from Cendalath Intelligence but it wasn't good news, the king had been assassinated in the war room of the palace. This struck fear into his hart hoping that his family was all right. "Val! Can I borrow your car?" "Yeah just don't scratch the paint I just had it repainted from last time you took it for a spin," he says throwing his keys to Felix.

The fox rushed out of the building to the car park trying to find Sabastian's car and he tried every car but only to find that there was a panic button on it. He saw the lights of a white Toyota Hilux it was a two seater and that let Felix down because he was hoping for a sports car to get to the palace in time. The interior was old, had holes in the light brown seating. The drive gave him some time to reflect on his actions and wanted to fix their relationship but that seemed too far off in the distance his life was perfect up until the fire-fight in Akrid. He was speeding through the traffic ignoring all the road rules the sound of a police car behind him was drained out by his adrenalin and he took a quick look at how fast he was going a hundred and fifty kilometre's before hitting a spike strip losing control of the car and crashed into the front of a police car. His head hit the windscreen since he didn't wear a seat belt, a police officer came over to drag him out of the car but he instead he was find.

"Were going to need an ambulance!" an office yelled into his radio. "I'm fine!" Felix stumbled as he got out of the Ute only to be saved from falling by Lawrence. "You led us on quite a chase their boy! What is the rush?" Lawrence asked setting him down on a cold meatal bench. "Gag order I need..." He pulled out a huge glass triangle from his head. "Gag order? Ah something you can't talk about?" "Yeah that's it." The paramedics arrived on scene to assist as they got to the Prince but he wasn't happy to see them at all. "We need to get you to the hospital and were the glass hit you will need stiches." The stag instead after examining the cut between his eyes.

After he resisted the help from the medics the stag's partner sighed. Felix was always like this even with the military medics, the Dalmatian offered to drive him to the Palace but the other officers didn't like that one bit because he was the Prince. They got into Lawrence's silver Porsche 911 the interior had exquisite black leather seats as the silver trim on the dash reflected his face. On the way to the Palace he kept trying not to ask the Dalmatian about Leon if he had told him what happened but that topic didn't come up since Lawrence was racing through the traffic and Felix got a lecture on wearing seat belts which he hated.

I wonder how Leon put up with these lectures, he thought.

They got in there time but the outside of the Palace was covered with media and the Royal Guards blocked there path. "Is it true that the humans attacked you?" One of the reporters asked and Felix grabbed the mike from the cat throwing it on the ground.

How can these people ask questions like this? When their king is dead? Fuckin media. He thought to himself.

He managed to get through the crowd of reporters. "Felix how are ya?" A Royal guard asked. "Not good, why is there a fuckin tone of media outside?" "Ambassador (insert human) has been arrested on suspicion of the actions of Folith's government sending troops to assassinate you." "That could explain the ambush earlier in Akrid." "Yeah it could, anyway come on inside." He followed the dingo to the war room as he passed people running around it almost looked like a command centre in the movies when some big mission is about to happen. And of course he bumped into his Father but Felix ignored him as they entered the room he was hit in the face with the smell of blood. Wait- I know this scent. He thought. His fears were confirmed that the king had been assassinated and he ordered that all humans in the palace to be gathered into the ballroom with armed guards. As he walked in the room there was a table in the centre of the room that had multiple files on various people and a command console built into the table for easy access. He rushed to his mother who held a white fox in her arms, making him cry but forced the tears away knowing that there was something he could do. He kneeled down to look at her muzzle has blood on it. "Mum I'm here what happened?" He said in a calm voice but knew he would get no information out of Elsa in this state. "I... Velv..." Felix held his mother in his arms. "I know he meant a lot to you and I didn't know him very well but I can only do this: Iros please bless this soul to be with our lord Syio." Iros used a teleportation spell. This annoyed Felix that he could have asked Iros to teleport him to the Palace instead of writing off Sabastian's car. "...Who?" Elsa says as she blew her nose. "Is that?" "Iros, she is the priestess of the church and before you ask she is the real Iros." "Hello Elsa I'm sorry for what happened to your husband but fear not. He is going to be fine I have blessed his soul and Syio has welcome him with open arms." Velva Kahn's soul ascended to the heavens with a glow of light that dropped a golden rose, Felix wanted to be of more help but Iros told him no she will take care of her, so he suggested to her that she take his Mother to the Palace Gardens.

"We don't know how it happened but it was definitely a human." "This is going to provoke us into war for revenge and I loath to send soldiers to their deaths for one man." "Ha-ha getting old there eh Princess?" A black dog placed a paw on his shoulder. "Blue?!" "The one and only!" He guested to himself. "Where is Evil?" "She's showing the human ambassador TRF hospitality..." Felix let his tail lash loosely and he knew what Blue meant by hospitality. The night was never ending people running around negations with Foilith opened and that meant he had to meet the president of Folith which he didn't like. Flooded by the reports that came to him suggested that the suspect was human and brought a sigh of relief knowing it wasn't one of his people. Felix had ordered a black out of communications if the killer was among the humans that were in the ball room. The fox couldn't handle all this information that came in from Cendalath Intelligence and not being a hundred percent sure stressed him out. The thought of Leon came back into his mind worrying about him, so he decided to text Leon to make sure everything was okay but no immediate response came. Blue tried to cheer him up by sneaking him out of the Palace to a local pub across the street, as they entered the sound of rock was music playing and the walls were painted white with two pool tables opposite each other most of the patrons talked about hunting from what he could gather. A woman operated the bar she was an artic fox as she came up to them as they sat on the wooden bar stools. "What will it be boys?" "Jug of Emu Export, love." "You always say that? Evil's going to kill you." Felix said. "She's all right and I'm joking anyway." "Here you are that will be twelve fifty." Blue rummaged through his wallet for cash as Iros walked in and sat next to Felix.

"How is Mum doing?" He poured a glass and passed it to the silver fox. "Devastated, she needs time to heal but her best friends Vicki and Karen are with her." "That is good." He drew a sigh of relief. "Who is the cute barmaid?" Iros whispered to him but Felix shrugged.

"Ah there it is sorry 'bout that had a load of receipts in it." Blue said as he handed the cash to the white fox. "Who is your friend?" "Blue one of my squad mates." "Ah, nice to meet you." Iros extended a paw to shake. "Likewise you got a nice body on ya." "Blue! You are disgusting" "You were thinking it as well." Felix ran a finger over his drink as Iros tried to chat up the barmaid and Blue talked to him about what happened with Leon trying to be discreet in a blokes hang out but unfortunately one of the other patrons came up to Felix.

A wolf placed a paw on Felix making him turn around. "You're in the wrong place faggot!" "Victor can it! Do I have to through your ass out again?!" The bar maid shouted. "Not saying nothin' Sue just want this fag out." The fox got out of his seat and turned to face the wolf. Victor had been drinking all day from the strong smell of alcohol that came from his breath. "Felix let me-" "Blue I got this." "Aw little fag has a friend." Victor through a punch at him but Felix intercepted the wolves punch and twisting it behind his back slamming his head against the pool table which two other patrons were in the middle of a game and Victors muzzle landed on the black eight ball hard braking his jaw. "Want to say that again? Your fuck all for a wolf, I wonder what your mother would say seeing you act this way." He whispered in the wolf's ear. Victor struggled to get out of the fox's grip but Felix had grabbed the back of his neck. His friends tried to pull the fox off but Blue and Iros intercepted them, Sue had called the police.

"Iros can you reach into my pocket and get the zip ties out?" "Sure." She rummage through his pockets finding fully loaded magazines that belong to an USP .45 until she found it in the back pocked and handed them to Felix and Blue who cuffed the wolves.

"Are you okay?" "I'm fine, I get this a lot while I was in Graymist on deployment mostly ends in a fight when some calls me names."

Iros was chatting Sue up while Blue and Felix stood guard over the wolves. These situations were common amongst his squad who were notorious for getting into fights. After the police arrived to get statements, he finished the rest of his drink before talking to the Dalmatian. Please don't be Leon's father. He thought. "Tell me what happened."

Fuck! "Hey! That fox faggot started it!" "I'll get to you in a moment sir, name please."

Felix gave his name and his account of what transpired. After the police officer got their statements, he chose not to press charges because he felt sorry for the wolf but Victor wanted to press charges and that wouldn't hold up well with the royal family for Felix. It would change the view of what the people of Cendalath thought of him, after a thought that he would have to pay for the medical bills for the wolf he offered to pay all of it.

"Okay Felix you don't want to press charges?" The fox's ears cuffed forward. "No thanks." The police left but Lawrence stayed. "Can in talk to you in private?" "Yeah sure." They went outside into the dark alleyway. "Did you break up with my son?!" He asked in a stern voice. His ears were back down as his tail stopped lashing. "No...I Just- something happened and it scared him." Lawrence scratched the back of his head. "Your hiding it just tell me what happened, Leon hasn't even talk to me about it and he is too scared to step outside the house or go to his shows." So...he isn't mad at me? He paced back and forth thinking of how to explain the situation to Lawrence. "I'm only looking out for him! If you've done something to him-" "I would never hurt him in any way, I love him but..." He paused to gather his thoughts. "We were ambushed and a human charged at Leon but I killed him, and he had a stab wound and it missed all major organs from the look of it but we weren't sure." "So that's why he's in hospital with Sabastian." It sent a shiver down his spine when he heard the word hospital he dreaded it. As the sad memory came to him of finding out his Nanna had died as his family rushed to the hospital but they got there too late. It had been a month since he had last seen Leon maybe he got over the attack? But Felix wasn't sure and asked Lawrence which hospital he was staying at. "I don't think he would like to see you and I wanted to get your side of the story but I'm glad he didn't use magic." "Whys that?" "Using magic drains much of our energy and we need manna potions to replenish the lost energy but before I go I'll give u the address its 137 North Promenade Royal Cendalath Hospital." Felix gave Lawrence a hug as tears rolled down his cheeks. He followed him back in seeing the wolf and his friends being taken away since Sue had to ban them. He didn't bother drinking the rest of the night and only talked about visiting Leon in hospital if he should or will it bring up an augment? A ringing jazz tune started. "That your phone?" "Yeah I thought I'd turn it off." He looked at his phone a picture of him and Leon walking through the Cendalath National park with the Dalmatian pointing at a Supple Pegasi resting on a tree branch with one of its tails circled into a spiral was the wallpaper. A dozen messages from Lori asking if he was okay but she was worried about Mum and never told Felix her true feelings about the assignation.

I'm fine sis don't worry about me =p. he sent Thats great mum has been seeing a psychologist, and I wish you could be here with us and help her through it. She sent

I wish I Could but I've been overwhelmed with the investigation and there's so many leads but I don't know where to start looking oh and I advised my squad not to let the humans out of the ball room. He sent

Thats extreme what for? She sent.

Questioning Cendalath Intelligence is doing it and treating them fairly but most of the agents hate it. Got to go by sis. He sent.

"Problem Iros?" he said looking up from his phone. She sighed taking a seat. "She's married..." "You're not goanna have much luck here in here." "Thanks Rivera."

The night went on and to Felix's downside he talked too much after he managed a few more drinks. Iros took him home by a teleportation spell that she linked a rune to a bracelet with gold glowing runes and she had drawn a circle on the ground and chanted the sane forgotten langue that Leon did when he was in the shower at the palace. She stepped through the portal as the light guided them to their destitution, for Felix it wasn't a good experience when you're drunk and jumping into portals.

"Were home Felix." "I think-" he rushed over to the kitchen sink putting his head over it as vomit came out.

"You should t have drink too much." "Thanks captain-" more vomit came out. Iros stayed the night to look after Felix as he passes out on the bed in his room with a naked painting of Leon lying on a couch hanging above his bed and the soft silk sheets greeted him with comfort as he drifted off to sleep only thinking about Leon. The fox woke up early as the pain from the hangover dawned on him, he saw that Iros had left the gift on the table that he was going to give Leon and went through his daily routine as he showed first then brushed out his fur before putting on his dark brown chocolate pine striped suit, normally he'd wear a tie but left the collar unbuttoned exposing the rainbow bandanna. His phone rang.

"Felix what happened to my car?" He let out a nervous laugh. "It's sort of fine. But needs a new windshield, axel..." "Your shit at driving eh?" "Helicopters are much easier for me to use besides you should have brought the Marauder!"

The Marauder is a heavily armoured 4x4 car that the public can purchase but the customer needs a security clearance.

"That's 350 grand! Anyway Leon seems okay and he wanted to know when you're coming by, I think he's past the shock." He looked at the rainbow covered box holding it in his paw. "I was thinking of coming by but his Dad pulled me over which I went head first into the windscreen." "That's fuck all princess." "Ha-ha bye." "Bye."

The Royal Cendalath Hospital was just around the corner from his work. He walked down the streets the fresh smell from the bakeries made him feel hungry so he went into one that was owned by a famous chef named Adina Cronin the shop had a display of freshly baked goods.

"Hi what can I get you?" The cat asked. "One cheesy mite roll and a croissant." As Adina gathered the food placing them in a paper bag Felix got out the money. "That's seven dollars and fifty cents." Adina noticed the bandanna Felix was wearing and tried to figure if this fox was the Prince but she chose to leave it. He gave a ten dollar note as she handed the change to him he put a paw up and told her to not worry.

As Felix entered the hospital it looked okay too him but didn't like the style of furniture, a stag sat at the reception desk as he walked up placed his arms on the bench. "Hello how can I help you?" "Which room is Leon Lorenz in?" "What is ur relation with him?" "Boyfriend." "Go down the hall and take the elevator to level 10 and it's the room on the left 1071." "Thank you."

Felix followed the stag's instructions to the elevator, the conversation with Sabastian hoping the shock had wearied off Leon by now. He reached the room and he knocked on the door then entered the room. The room only had a soft bed which the Dalmatian lied down, and TV bolted into the ceiling on an angle with a bathroom off to the right.

"Hi Dal how are you feeling?" Sabastian moved over to sit on the cupboard as Felix sat down on the chair next to the bed and he hated the smell of hospitals. Leon had an IV in him and bandages on his hips.

"Sort of okay..." "Doc says he's lucky to be alive and the knife missed all major organs." Sabastian said. "That's great! Got you something didn't know if you were allowed to eat the cheesy mite scroll" He gave him a Bach of golden roses and the gift over to Leon as well as the baked scroll with cheese and vegemite.

"So can we talk about it?" Sabastian got up and moved to stand guard outside knowing they needed some space.

"What you saw... Was horrible and I cannot justify killing that human-" "Sabastian talked to me about that part and it helped me sort of understand and I was being too harsh to you." "Your Father wanted me to talk about it but I gave him the short version of what happened and he was angry at me but he was glad that you didn't resort to magic." The fox moved the chair closer to the bed and held Leon's paw. "I want to be with you, I was a wreck without you I'd drank heaps got into a bar fight, wrote off Sabastian's car..." "Ha-ha you are such a worry. But when you saved me at the time it was like you were a different fox from the one I knew, I don't know if I can forgive you and I was talking with Sabastian if..."

Felix moved his muzzle towards Leon's giving him a kiss on his black nose. "If I could train you to fight? I don't know it will be hard I had non-stop training at Fort Bastion but I can teach you some tricks." "That be great Foxy, I heard on the news that the King was killed." "I'd been so busy with that stuff and I think it's pointing towards a war." "That won't be good." "Open that present Dal." He gestured to the rainbow covered box. Leon unwrapped the gift to find a black collar with a sapphire in the middle surrounded by gold and inscribed on the side was his name in gold as well. "I love it!" He holds up the collar. "Was going to be a birthday gift but it's my way of saying sorry." Leon put the collar on and Felix helped him. "Where did you- of course you got it from Lovers' Jewellers." "Sure did...want to fool around in bed?" Felix suggested with a smirk on his long muzzle. "Not allowed to..." "So how's your month been?" Leon sighed as he took the collar off placing it back into the box. "Not good Steve was angry that he had to cancel shows, and some interviews due to this wound." Leon went on about Steve had interviews landed up on a famous talk show Late Night with Richard Bryant which he was excited about but Leon wasn't because he hated the host who used to bully him in school, Felix suggested that he could accompany him on the night. Leon sniffed the air noticing a holy scent on Felix. "You do smell like a fox but there's holy magic mixed in with your scent."

Wonder how long till he'd figure that out, he though. "Yeah that's Iros's scent on me I thought I'd gotten rid of it in the shower." "What's she like?" "Very easy to tease her from my point, but she's good when you got... Stabbed after wards I talked to her about the commandment thou shall not kill." "That would be an interesting debate id never thought about that."

"That trauma you experienced is the exactly the same as when i first pulled the trigger."

The doctor cam in looking at Leon's chart. "Mr Lorenz any pain with the wound?" "I'm all right bro." The Dalmatian doctor had a black parch on his left eye and body covered in spots. "You always say that every time I come in and I know your hiding it but we have to make sure your well before we discharge you." "I can think of a few ways to sneak you out dal." Felix said. "Who's this Leon?" "Oh sorry, Felix this is my brother Frances he's uh...My doctor." Felix waved a paw. "Hi nice to meet you."

"Great to see he's got someone special in his life, good need bro you'll be discharged today all you got to do is get some rest."

That was great news for both of them as Frances went off to organise the paper work, Leon wanted to Felix to teach him how to fight as they left the hospital but he insisted on him getting well first before the training he had organized for him. The fox took Leon to the Seven estate located in the country side, as they drove up the drive way they were greeted by the marble stone that had each member of the Seven family engraved, the most noticeable one was Lucio's signature had engraved a cock into the marble next to his wife Teresa who had drawn a portier of Luico. Walking through the old wooden door a ballroom greeted them as a fox stood on the landing with two stairs leading up and a fox was standing in front of the statue of Luico holding the sword of Cendalath and pointed towards the entrance with Teresa wielding two daggers in each hand with her back to him. "Welcome Felix and Leon!" The fox greeted them with cheer as she hugged them both. Oh crap I forgot her name... He thought to himself looking around at the paintings of his ancestors for a clue. "You forgotten my name again haven't you Felix?" Felix felt embarrassed. "...yes sorry." "It's Leah." She said patting his head. "So you're going to teach us how to fight with magic?" "Yes and no because Felix here needs to learn to control the demonic magic and you two need to learn to fight together." "My doc says no exercise." "Oh right sorry about that, come with me." They followed Leah down the hall covered with paintings and one stood out making him stop it was Luico having drinks with other Cains and it was that Same artist Arden Lorenz, Leon was excited about finding out about it and he took a pitcher sending it to his mother. The training room had wooden swords standing up right against the wall, and a garden surrounded the outside where a wooden structure only a step high had a straw rough mat that spread the width of the arena. Leah took a wooden sword off the rack and ordered Felix to attack her with his sword. "You sure? It's been a while since I done this." Leon sat down on the bench covered with black leather and only supporting it were two strong fans blowing air out as the floor held it in place with a tractor beam. Felix charged at Leah as he swang the sword at her but she dodge his attack. "You're not ready to use the sword at all here." She throughs him a training sword. Felix let out a sigh. "Back to basic eh?" "Pretty much you didn't work on your fighting form." As they spared together Leon could see how much energy he had to use to dodging her attacks, the training went on for hours until he managed to break Leah's defences. "Ha-ha took you long enough!" They both panted as the demon from the sword opened a portal into their world, Felix hadn't seen bob for months and his timing wasn't good because he just started the training. "Hello uh, Bob isn't it?" The fiery stallion gave Leah a kiss on her paw. "Yeah it is mate, right Felix listen-" He took a drink from the water cooler before he tossed the plastic cup in the bin. "Yeah I no fuckin fight ya, why?" The blank look on the demonic stallions face told him that it meant was only to prepare him to fight the dark demon Lord Marataerus who is a threat both to the demonic world and Syio, the same one who caused the fox's and humans to fight through manipulation. This part of history was long lost from historians since Luico delayed Marataerus by four hundred years after their tiering battle that lead to the death of him. This information was a lot for Felix and Leon to take on at once, after they left the room together leaving the vixen and the demonic stallion in the room. "How are we going to stop it?" Felix asked looking down at the cold marble floor. Leon was too focused on the connection of his family to the Seven's. "Dal?" "Huh? Oh sorry I was day dreaming." "The demon lord do you know anything about it?" "No only that he came to Shadow Marsh and the details are scratchy." Personally the fox was scared and feared for his life after learing about Luico's death. They passed more paintings on their way to Felix's room which he hadn't been in since he was a cub, upon entering finding a Cendalath Hounds poster signed by the team on the wall above the varnished wooden desk. He placed his sword on the desk before undressing, as Leon looked around the room finding a bed off to the left of the desk as a fifty inch plasma stood in front of it.

"Uh...What are you doing Felix?" Leon was adoring the muscles on the fox as he slowly started to undress as well. He showed a smile. "Were gonna have some fun..." "But my brother said-" "Nothing about having sex?" Felix held his muzzle up to face him since Leon was shorter than him. "Oh all right I guess it cannot hurt to." Leon strips down to his tight bad dog briefs and cuddles the fox from behind as his tail stops lashing. Felix was sitting on the bed as the Dalmatian unbutton his pants and removing his briefs before he started to play around with his cock. He gave Leon a pat before him as he felled back onto the beds soft cotton sheets. This was the first time they had sex and it was a great experience that they didn't want to end. Felix moves back as Leon crawled onto the bed seeing his white fur with the spiral of spots on his arms and legs, placing his paws around the Dalmatians body kissing him. "You sure dal?" "Foxy you only need to ask once..." Leon ran his muzzle down Felix's white fur and started to lift it up sitting up right. Felix watched him as he rubbed smooth insertion lube all over his cock. "Ready princess?" He gave a nod as Leon inserted his dick into the fox's bottom making Felix grabbed the sheets as the Dalmatian trusted his body moving his cock in and out of the fox as his tail rested on his head. "Ahh..." "Bark for me Foxy..." "Woof! Woof!" Leon bent over moving Felix's tail off his head slowly kissing the back of the fox's head as he cummed inside him before removing his cock. "Wow...that was magical!" "Your turn now princess." Felix inserted his fingers into the arse feeling the warm cum before he pulled it out moving the covered fingers to his muzzle. Leon started to lick the fox's bottom. "Cum tastes a bit bland." "Ha-ha why would you do that? It's disgusting." He shrugs. "Thought it would taste nice." Felix moved Leon as he started to slowly smear the cum all over his penis before penetrating Leon's bottom and he was shaking as he tried to force the stress out of his mind.

Just think about all those 'training sessions' you had with Sabastian. He told himself.

Leon guested to his penis. "Need some help there?" "Uh no I'm fine."

The Dalmatian grabbed Felix by the penis pulling him towards his arse. After taking a deep breath he managed to force the stress out and penetrated Leon's arse with his penis as he kissed him. As the cold morning greeted the fox their scents were buried in the sheets as well as the strong smell of cum stuck to his fur. Felix walked over to the bathroom the tile floor was slippery making him lose his balance, Leon chanted a magic levitation spell on the fox holding him in mid-air this was something he'd have to get used to. The Dalmatian moved over grabbing his arm and helping him to his feet as they entered the spa together as the warm water greeted them felling the flow of the water jets pumping air into the water.

"You right foxy?" Leon clicked his fingers making the spell disappear. "Yeah thanks dal hound." Leon cuddled up to Felix. "Was thinking of going for a jog?" He gropes Leon's balls slowly. "Doc, mmm... say's no exercise but I'm sure we can do some jogging of our own..." He picked up the demonic scent of Bob the fiery stallion standing naked in the door way. "Room for one more boys?" He said in a husky voice. The spa was big enough for four people as limestone surrounded the edges with a seat carved into each corner and had water jets on all sides as it was a step lower than the actual floor. Bob entered the spa as his demonic flames still were lit, this was news to Felix normally the flames he knew immediately distinguish upon contact with the water. "Ahh... That's much better." Leon looked at Felix in disappointed. "What? He invited himself in." "So bob about the demon lord Maratearus why do you think he wants?" The fox rested his head on Leon's shoulder. "He is one of the heads shadow council, they are our government and there are always power plays. Maratearus was made supreme commander of Sceuatis." The shadow council are a force to be feared as the dark demon lord of lies had always wanted to rule the world of Syio, to the people of Cendalath this is just a myth. "How does the sword fit into all of this?" Felix asked. Bob rested his arms on the wall behind him. "Luico had killed the demon lord of terror Snoabahle with the sword of Cendalath which was infused with demonic fox steel, the power of the sword absorbed Snoabhle and thus made it a weapon with devastating abilities."

"If I am correct- mmm...Felix stop that!" The fox was slowly pawing him off. "Hehe sorry I can't resist it." "Oh thanks princess now i forgot where i was." "I want to know about these abilities." "Shadow marsh is where you will find them, first you must learn to use the sword before you can go." Bob was right but Felix thought it would be easier to kill these demon lords with firearms and in his mind he played those scenarios out. After a few more hours he tried to get the demonic stallion to do a three some but he declined. After he got dressed only wearing cams and the dog tags with the rainbow bandanna on ready for Leah's training but this time it was more about building his stamina and he testified that he kept up with it but Leah could see through his lies. "Really? I done this heaps of times-" She grabbed him by the bandanna. "No it's not good enough! That sword has the power to destroy you if you're not physically capable." The warm sun felt great on his fur as it dried him trying to catch up to Leah who started while he was standing soaking in the sun's rays. She had marked the course with fluoro flags that lead into the black fox forest, the birth place of the Sevens as he ran into the forest seeing ghosts or spirits of his family running the course as well but one spirit ran at his pace, a red fox. He looked at the spirit more closely. "Its Luico mate." The spirit stated. Felix didn't care anyway as the course was to the end of the huge forest. Not looking where he was going Felix tripped on a branch and went head first into the mud. "Guess your not-" "Cut the bullshit, I heard it all the time in training," as he whipped the mud from his face. A tall rocky cliff stood in his way to the next flare gun he had to fire which singled his progress. Felix tried to climb up the vines with no luck, in his army days normally he'd a grappling hook for these situations but always preferred the hard way. After climbing up the cliff as the sharp rocks stabbed into his fur making him bleed and the spirit taunted him. "Come on you worthless dog!" Felix turned to face the fox spirit. "I'm actually enjoying this, if you're trying to get me to fail it's you, who is failing." An argument went on between the two as he ascended the cliff. Mostly the argument was about Luico how he had done the course. "So what? Is there a dragon guarding the exit?" As he climbed up to the top a dark cave greeted them as a roar echoed through the cave, the sword glowed a bright demonic red. A broken ruined sign laid on the cold ground warning travellers not to enter, the roar from the beast came again making Felix stand up straight as his tail curled around him. "Scared all ready? Ha-ha!" Why am I nervous? Surely I had heard a dragon roar but this makes me feel uneasy -focus Foxy Focus! He told himself. Upon entering that cave was scattered with human bones, the spirit stayed behind as he went deeper into the cave. A cold wind greeted him when he was crossing the chasm, one of the skeletons came to life forcing Felix to draw his sword as he caught the undead scent smelled of rotten bone. The creature charged at him but hr just grabbed the sword arm throwing it off the cliff and into the dark abyss and the undead tried to hit him with an old shield which had the symbol of Folith. This suggested to the fox that it could possibly be a human controlling this creature as he cut the arm off with the sword causing the sword to consume the soul of the dead skeleton and this made him think of a sword from a video game but he didn't dwell on it too much as he walked down old stone stairs to find a huge chamber filled With gold and found a dark green dragon asleep on the mountain of gold. Okay so what am I supposed to do here? He looked around for clues but found nothing, judging from the corpses they were after the gold making Felix feel disgusted with human greed. Wow this dragon is cute! Might get a pick for Leon. He thought. The dragon awoke after the fox had taken the pitcher letting out a disturbing roar but he stood his ground placing the sword into the old stone ground of a forgotten temple. "Who dares to wake the lord of dragons?!" Felix sighed. "Really were going talk in third person? Great..." The dragon lowered his head at the fox and breathed smoke into his face. He waved a paw at the smoke. "Use a breath mint mate!" "Oh so how are you going to pass my trail?" Felix haven't gave a thought about it and wanted to sneak past the dragon but it was too late for that. The dragon stretched his wings. "I am Norruth. What is yours Fox?" "Felix Cendalath Seven." He stated resting his paws on the but of the sword. Norruth guested towards a portal to his right. "Once you step through that portal you will face an aeration of pure evil, demons cannot be trusted as their mind is a maze not knowing when they are leading you into a trap." Felix entered the portal feeling the cold wet stone ground on his feet and looked back watching the portal close, a castle court yard surrounded him seeing two foxes on the gallows as the captain of the Folith guard read aloud their crimes against the human kingdom. "Hey what's going on?" He asked placing a paw on the wolf's shoulder in front of him. "They got caught stealin' supplies that's my guess or part of a rebel group called Cendalath." What was he supposed to see? He tried to move forward but a magical barrier stopped him as time froze. "You cannot change the outcome of this event this is what lead the fox's to glory." Norruth's voice whispered to him. "Why am I here?" The dragon made himself visible only to him. "That I cannot say Syio has instructed me to have you brought here, keep an eye on the cub who's in tears next to the blue fox." Before he could respond Norruth disappeared as the time went back to normal, as he studied the two fox's on the gallows a familiar family scent he recognized it was his ancestors. Felix tried to call the dragon back but no response was heard. "Ha-ha the lord of demons shall be resurrected! I have trapped you here so the demons can take over Syio!" A demonic voice he heard but no one was talking to him as he looked around. Am i trapped here? 400 hundred years ago? He thought. As he looked down on himself finding he was wearing a blue tunic with tan pants. The sound of the crank on the gallows pulled his attention to the cub next to him running down an old alleyway as the blue fox followed, demons jumped out of the dark demonic portals blocking his way. His immediate reaction was to grab a gun but as he felt the fabric of the silk pants it wasn't there. Well that's just great- I'm trapped back in time with no magic! He thought to himself after slaying six demonic goblins. He held off the demons for Luico to escape but more kept coming and he was using all of his strength to fight them off until his sword glowed a holy light colour taking over the demonic energy that let off holy bolts of magic that targeted the demons banishing them as the bolts hit. What the fuck just happened?!
