Barry tries to figure out what to do in a relationship .

"And another one finished." A dark furred Border Collie named Barry pushed a book back into it's place on his shelf "Now what to do..." He crossed his arms and surveyed his room, a few shirts littered the floor and a couple of posters promoting his favorite games lined one of the walls. He was thinking about whether or not to sit down and play his gaming system rather than to complete an essay that was due the next day when his phone emitted a sound which was a voice shouting the word "Persona!"

"Someone texted me eh?" Barry quickly grabbed his phone, unlocked it, then read the message

"Hello there my love." The message said

Barry shut his eyes as a smile grew on his face "Oh man I still can't get used to the fact that I'm, uh, dating somebody." He replied

It was only about 5 seconds before his conversation partner replied "Aha well neither can I. It gets worse when I remember that it's you i'm dating, have I ever told you how great you are?"

"Wow are you trying to get me all embarrassed over here? If so, you're succeeding." Barry sent another message and instantly began typing another "And what you just sent me sounds like you took it out of some generic teen romance novel" He glanced over at his bookshelf and resumed typing "Trust me, I would know."

"Honestly, I looked up how to sound romantic earlier and it suggested that I should say that and judging by your response, I don't think it worked."

"Daw, I appreciate your efforts but I like you the way you are, no need for anything else." Barry scratched his head "I'm rather nervous really, your my first, um, boyfriend. Woah it sounds weird even when I type it."

"Heh, well anyway do you want to meet up with me?"

"But it's raining." The dog looked out his window and remembered that it has been raining all day "You really want to go out right now?

"I already finished the latest season of Game of Thrones and beat most of the games I have so yeah." The message continued "And can I call you? It's much faster than texting."

"Sure, go for it." Seconds later his phone began playing a song Barry recalled to be named Sburban Jungle. He the answered "Hello there."

"So yeah, c'mon Barry, us hermits need some daylight- Er, I mean fresh air. Daylight was the wrong thing to say seeing as how it's raining and all." The voice awkwardly laughed "And I'm already outside anyway, I'm at that coffee place you always go to, you freaking hipster."

"I-I'm not a- Fine, whatever, I'll be over there soon." Flustered, Barry hung up and put on his striped jacket then headed for the door

As he walked Barry kept his hand in his pockets, he enjoyed being outside during this weather because although the rain can be annoying sometimes he somehow found it relaxing "If only it could be like this most of the time." It wasn't long until he arrived at his destination. He opened the door which rang a bell that caused the female fox who was behind the counter cleaning to turn around to face him

"Oh hello Barry." She smiled at him and waved

"Hey Amy." He waved back then looked to his left to spot a certain tiger "There you are Daniel."

"Tis' I, Dan." The tiger grinned and pointed at the chair in front of him "Now c'mon let's, er, talk?"

Tail wagging out of excitement to see him again, Barry hastily sat down "So uh," He fiddled around with his fingers and looked up at Daniel, or Dan, and reminisced on how easy it was to talk to him when they were just friends and now they were dating "Er, how do I boyfriend?"

That made him laugh a little "I'm not so sure what to do either! I am definitely not going to try to be romantic anymore." A look of shock was on his face and he hesitantly said "W-Well unless you liked that and you want me to!"

"No no it's fine." There was an awkward silence again

"Uh, how about that web comic you read?" Dan tried to start a talk

"It started receiving updates again, they just killed off like what, five characters?" Luckily they were able to base a conversation off of this and they talked for a good half hour before Dan told him that he had to go

"Aw, all good things must come to an end I guess." Barry sniffed, hoping that he didn't catch a cold "I might as well get home too."

They both stood up and walked outside "See you later then." Barry turned to walk back home but Dan called him back "Hmm? What is it?"

"Come here."

Barry obeyed and came closer "Yeah?"

"Here I go." Dan exhaled and quickly grabbed Barry's shoulders and pulled him into a kiss that lasted a few seconds before ending it "Ah, hope I did that right." Dan sighed

"Wh- Dan I- What do I do now?!" Barry looked extremely embarrassed and confused "N-None of my books implored on what couples did after their first kiss! Usually it just goes on a random cliche! Uh, er, wow."

"Pfft- Ha!" Dan was breaking down in laughter "It's cool Barry, just go back home and do whatever you do like I am. I gotta go finish Diablo, I'll text ya later!" Dan just left him there, astonished

"I-I uh..." Barry pushed his glasses up and began walking home "Dan sure is something."
