Previous on the Digi-Dead: In another part of the woods two fully masked creatures made their way to a tree with a circle and in engraved x in the middle of it. The first creature removed it's mask, Stitch looked around seeing the next one. The other creature removed it's mask, Gatomon followed up behind him.
The group continued the journey. Most of them were decked out with gunned gear. They were used to walking long distanced either on the road or in the woods. Bearmon was behind his brother Kumamon who was holding hands with Commandramon. With the way the world was simple pleasantries like that were worth noticing. Angelmon nodded and the Vee said, "Then take us there." Angelmon led them to a church. Some of group waited near the entrance.
They walked inside with the guns securing the main pew area first. Blackgatomon, Guilmon, Scourge waved off searching the separate rooms. Kuma and Commandramon also joined in following up the rear. The church hid no others as well as no walkers. They went out and Vee nodded, the group went inside to take a break. Veemon looked behind the alter to see the supplies, "You have more than this?" Angelmon said, "Yes, I placed them separately just in case." Veemon looked to his go out group, "Alright, ready to get the rest." Scourge said, "Yea." Angelmon said, "I could draw a map..." Veemon said, "That won't be needed. You're coming with us." Angelmon said, "You saw how I was, I won't be any help." Veemon growled a bit, "You're coming with us and that's final." Veemon stepped aside and went to Bearmon. He held Salamon. Veemon asked, "Would you mind watching her for me again." Bearmon said, "For sure." Veemon said, "Thank you...for everything." I was never there and I was forced to let that go." Blackgatomon said, "Veemon a good creature. That's why you two went from being rivals to such great friends. At this point we don't need more cracks in this group. So that's the reason why." They heard a car vroom off. Scourge looked at the car and then smashed the lights off in the back. Blackgatomon asked, "What are you doing?" Scourge said, "They are the ones that took Emily. Let's go." They got in the car and went off.
The other returned to the church, Veemon noticed Kiff was outside. Kiff said, "Check this out."
