Rebecca's Summer Fling: A Talespin Fanfic
It was the hottest summer ever in the Republic of Cape Suzette. Rebecca Cunningham was sitting at her desk reviewing contracts. She was trying to keep cool with an old electric fan, but it only succeeded in blowing her important papers all over the floor. She was wearing a pair of jean shorts and a tube top, not really appropriate for a successful business lady. But she was to hot to care. Her adopted fourteen year old son Kit Cloudkicker Cunningham was sweeping the floor. He was wearing his favorite blue baseball cap backward and his blue swimsuit. Rebecca allowed her son to come to work with her shirtless because it was hot. Kit's eight year old sister Molly, sat on the stairs eating a dripping ice cream cone. She was wearing her swim suit as well.
Rebecca stopped working on the contracts for a moment to watch her son. Kit reached down with a dustpan and swept the dust into it with the broom. Rebecca adopted Kit two years ago. She looked at her son with pride and smiled. "Kit is so handsome," she thought. Kit's chest was small but muscular and well built, his fur grew longer especially on his chest. He was much taller and stronger now. "My son is going to break a lot of girl's hearts someday," she said to herself. Rebecca smiled and went back to work.
Kit walked over to the edge of the desk and leaned against it with his hands. "Mom," he said looking at her with his innocent green eyes "Can I go outside now?" he asked. His chest was leaning on the edge of the desk. Rebecca looked around the room. "Are your chores done?" she asked. "Yes mom," Kit said standing with his chest out Rebecca stood and walked around her desk. She put her arms around her son's shoulders. Rebecca put her hands on his chest and gave his nipples a pinch. Kit laughed. Okay, go ahead," she said taking off his baseball cap. "Yahoo," Kit said. Rebecca kissed him on his head. But take your sister with you," Rebecca said. She went back to her desk and placed his cap on some papers.
"Come on pigtails," Kit said taking his sister's hand "Lets go swim." The cubs went outside into the bright Summer sun. Rebecca went to the door and watched them. "It's to hot to work today," Rebecca said "I might join you later." She watched her children and smiled.
The cubs ran down the dock passed the new Higher and Higher sign. Kit jumped into the water with a loud splash. Soaking his sister in the process. Kit swam to the surface and laughed. "That wasn't funny Kit," she said shaking the water off. "You should look in a mirror," Kit said. Kit floated to Molly. She sat on the edge then kicked water in his face. "Think that's funny?" she asked. He splashed her back and both cubs laughed.
Rebecca stopped working and came outside. She ran down the dock, removing her top and shorts. She stood at the edge of the pier wearing a blue bikini. "Wow mom!" Kit said with surprise.
"Is that you?" Molly asked. Rebecca picked her daughter up. "Yes," Rebecca laughed "It's me." This was the first time Rebecca had worn a bikini. She usually wore one piece swimsuits or a shirt and shorts for swimming. Rebecca put Molly down and took a diving position on the edge of the pier. She made a perfect dive into the water without a splash. "Mom " Kit said "I didn't know you could do that." he said. Rebecca swam over to her son and splashed him with water. "I was diving champion of my university during my Junior and Senior years." She swam over to Molly. "Come on sweetie," she said holding out her arms "I'll catch you." Molly jumped into her mother's arms.
The family played in the water until a large black car pulled up in front of the office. A large man wearing a blue suit stepped out with a teen girl Kit's age. The girl wore a yellow shirt which ended at her belly button and a pair of cuffed shorts. Rebecca immediately climbed out of the water trying to cover her wet bikini with her hands. "I am Mr. Grizzly," the man introduced himself "and this is my daughter Ruby." The girl walked over to the docks. she stood on the edge looking at Kit in the water. Kit climbed out of the water. Ruby stared at his chest and smiled. His muscular body was visible through the wet fur. "Hi Kit," she said. Kit blushed a deep red. Ruby giggled.
The man turned his attention to Rebecca. "Ms. Cunningham," he said "we have some important business to discuss."
"Can I go swimming with Kit?" Ruby asked her father. He smiled "Go ahead and have some fun," Mr. Grizzly said before going inside with Rebecca. Ruby took off her shirt and shorts revealing a red and pink bikini. Kit stared at the girl and blushed all over his body. Ruby ran down the pier and jumped into the water. "Come on in," She said waving to Kit," Come swim with me."
"Kit has a girlfriend!" Molly sang.
"Molly!" Kit yelled. His sister started laughing. Kit chased her to the edge of the pier and picked her up. Kit jumped in the water with Molly in his arms.
