Chapter 4: Third ring of hell

The group rushes into the room. Staal places Shiro onto the soft couch then runs into the bathroom to grab a towel to lay Uski on. Corelec places Uski on the towel then wastes no time blockading the door. "What the hell was that?" Uski mutters out. "I don't know. This place just took a turn. It wasn't a pretty one either." Exclaims Tanikaze. Staal is running back and forth making sure that they have water and other necessities for survival in case it gets to that point. Corelec is helping Tanikaze figure out what just happened. "Whatever it was, people got hurt. It looks like a girl had little luck in the matter, and several others may have gotten close to that fate as well." Says Staal over the dorm to the dazed panda. Staal runs some water over. "You're going to need to get up and change out of those clothes. They are disgusting." Uski responds to this by forcing himself to stand. "I didn't bring anything... I was going to head home and grab some more after the day but now I'm doubting even getting out of here" says Uski. Corelec hands him a change of clothes consisting of a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. "They're Shiro's but they should fit you fine." He says with a smirk. Uski glares at him and heads to the bathroom to change. Staal, while frantically running from one end to the other, finds time to get Shiro an ice pack and secures the room from most entrances (Excluding the ventilation and heavy artillery). "Staal, I think that were good now. Relax for a minute, you need to slow your heart rate." Says Tanikaze. Staal basically rams the couch and tries to calm for a second. "Your right. Sorry, its just that so many people got hurt and yet they kept the fan going to the very last standing" Staal motions to the bathroom where Uski is forcing himself into awkward clothing.

Uski comes out to find that Tanikaze, Corelec, and Staal are all on the couch watching the news to see if they come up. He walks up and sits on the other side of Shiro who is mumbling in her unconscious state. "Anything?" Asks Uski. Corelec holds back laughing at Uski and responds "Not yet. I would hope that someone sent word." Uski takes a drink of the water that Staal had gotten him earlier and glances at Shiro who has half an eye open. Shiro sits up with a groan and holds her head. "Where is my headband?" She asks half out of it. "Must still be at the hangar" says Tanikaze. "No shit. I be back guys, gotta go get my band" says Shiro as she walks out of the door that was horribly secured. "Shiro! You just woke up! Come get something to drink!" Uski yells out as he chases after her. "Let's go guys" says Corelec nonchalantly and he gets up and walks after the two. Staal and Tanikaze follow suit.

They all arrive at the hangar where the blood has been cleaned up and the place looks clean again. "This place has gone from worrying to straight up terrifying! This place looks spotless! Even the damn fans have vanished!" outbursts Corelec who looks generally angry at the situation. Staal places a wing on Corelec's back and Shiro walks out to a small basket-like box in the middle of the room. She rummages through it a bit until she has half her body in it. "It's gotta be in here somewhere." She says with an almost worried tone in her voice. Not more than a half-second later, she flips up and out of the box with her headband on and an assortment of other seemingly-deadly gear that may or may not belong to her. "That's all I needed, let's go." Tanikaze tilts his head and replies, "Go where?" Shiro responds to the quick question, "Home. I need to grab a few things before we go back to the dorm." The entire group looks at Shiro with different emotions shrouding their faces. Corelec looks generally angry, Staal looks puzzled, Tanikaze looks concerned with light eagerness, and Uski is just giving a head tilt and an open hand asking why. "Do you not see what is going on here?! Why would you even think of coming back? If we leave then we will only return with a military to back us up!" shouts Corelec. Shiro crosses her arms. "He's right you know. If we can leave then there is no point on coming back." Adds Staal. "Whatever. I'll see you all in and out of this hell hole. I'll be back, and for a good reason." Exclaims Shiro. She is snarling as she talks, her words hold a special sting to them. Corelec huffs a puff of fire out of his nose and flies towards the parking lot. Staal shrugs and follows along with Tanikaze. Uski scratches his ear, follows the group of tension rising and makes his way to the parking lot.

The lines of remaining students are sights of horror. Most of them have their mouths hanging open and their eyes filled with fear. There has been an accident, or what is hardly so. Shiro stares seemingly emotionless at the rising smoke cloud. Corelec huffs fire and smoke more frequent now and Tanikaze is searching through his bag, crafting something random. Staal is running closer to the problem and Uski walking slowly through the crowds of people to see what happened. The commotion of the crowd is almost deafening. Uski eventually makes it through the thick crowd of people to find a war scene. What is laying before him is a vehicle that is on fire, with two bodies lying near it. One of the bodies seems to be almost ripped in half and the other is twisted in nearly impossible ways. The twisted one seems to be alive. A few armored figures begin walking towards the scene and towards the injured figure. One had a medical pack. Staal comes up behind Uski and comments, "What happened?" Uski responds, "An accident by the looks of it. One is dead for sure and the other looks injured, and I think the staff is going in to help the hurt one." Tanikaze, Corelec, and Shiro walk out of the crowd and stand near Uski. "I don't think they are going to help them. Do you see the medics other hand?" asks Tanikaze. Uski and Staal looks closer to find a handgun in its hand. Uski's eyes go wide and he decides to attempt to sprint in after the man. "Goddamnit! Get back here you idiot!" Shouts Corelec who charges in after Uski. Uski tackles the medic to the ground and attempts to disarm him, but fails. The medic throws Uski back and points its gun at him. Corelec throws Uski back into the crowd and a shot is heard. Corelec falls to the ground with a small amount of blood forming a puddle near his head. The rest of the crowd went silent and some are even beginning to walk forward. Before anyone can get close enough to make out any details, Corelec stands, and smashes the medic into the burning car proceeding to slam the door. He picks up the gun and the med pack and throws them to Staal. The crowd disperses and the group heads back to the dorm, but not without glares and a few insults thrown.
