This was a story I wrote for a friend, whom I had "dragged" a little into vore :3 On FA his username is Akamaru42. It spawned from a joke about how we describe iced tea as being naturally called "Sweet tea" or just "iced tea." It ends with someone getting eaten. Enjoy.

Down in Georgia

By: BerserkerB

Zerky balled his hand into a fist and rapped it against the door. The hyon hummed a tune and rocked back and forth on the soles of his paws. He knocked a couple more times, but then turned his attention to a couple coming down the street behind him. They were busy arguing about something...at least he thought they were. Their accents were so heavy that Zerky could barely make out a few words here and there. How the heck do they understand each other, he thought. Being from the mid-west, Zerky was fortunate enough to speak in only dialect of English that did not have an accent.

His attention shifted as the door swung open. "Zerky!" cried Emmy, Zerky's lupine friend. The wolf came at him in a pouncing hug, nearly knocking Zerky over from the surprise lunge. Emmy's embrace pulled Zerky in close, and the hyon responded with a hug of his own.

"It's great to see you Emmy." He eased the wolf away and took a much needed breath. "Well... Here I am. In the flesh." He was never good at first meets. Emmy and Zerky had been online friends for ages. They had talked about traveling and meeting up, but so many distractions kept coming up for both of them. Finally, they decided to make the time, and scheduled a weekend to meet face-to-face at last.

"Oh now where's my hospitality? Come on in." Emmy took Zerky's hand and dragged him inside. "So how've you been? Did you have trouble getting here? We are going to have so much fun this weekend!"

Zerky chuckled at his friend's enthusiasm. "I'm fine. The trip went well. And yes, I bet we will." He got his hand free once Emmy showed him to the living room. "I have to say Emmy, I never paid much attention to your accent until now."

While they took a seat on the couch, Emmy replied "Yeah, I suppose you aren't used to it. But it's not as thick as some people I know." He set his hands on his lap, but his swishing tail betrayed his canine eagerness. Even his eyes sparkled with the eagerness of a child on Christmas. "Soooo, what cha want to do first?"

Zerky could not help but laugh. "I just got here! Let me rest first, you silly wolf." Emmy stuck his tongue out playfully and giggled. "I noticed you changed your hair style. Got that spiky, wild look happening, huh?"

"You like it?" Emmy turned his neck so Zerky could see that the green hair flowed down his neck. "I grew it out longer this time." Emmy's hair and underbelly-fur were a shade of emerald green. He had the same color around his hands and feet.

"Looking good," Zerky said with a sexy tone. "You're turning into one hot wolf." He could see the wolf's cheeks turn red, even under the gray fur. With a brow raised, and in a sexy voice, Zerky added "Maybe the second thing we do we can do in your bedroom."

Emmy bit his lower lip and moaned. "You're just teasing me again."

"Am I?" The hyon brushed his mane back and puffed up his chest. "Who knows, maybe I am, maybe I'm not." Emmy's face grew redder. Zerky slowly leaned forward, easing his muzzle closer to Emmy's. The wolf began to lean in as well, and closed his eyes for the impending kiss. And just before their lips locked into a sensual embrace, Zerky whispered "Emmy."

"Yeah?" Emmy whispered back.

In his normal voice, Zerky said "I could really use a drink."

Emmy opened his eyes, only to realize that the hyon was sitting back against the couch. His eyes narrowed and he issued a low growl. "That wasn't very nice."

Zerky gazed at his friend with the cutest eyes he could muster. "But I'm a kitty, and kitties are supposed to play with their prey before_digging in_." He winked as he ended the sentence.

Sighing, Emmy flopped against the back of the couch. "So, what do you want to drink? You want a coke?"

"No thanks, I try to stay away from dark pop. Do you have any Sprite?"

Emmy raised a brow. "No, no. I meant that."

"Meant what? You said Coke, not Sprite."

"No, we call everything coke around here. Hold on, lemme get you something."

Zerky held up a hand and stopped Emmy before he could get his butt two inches off the couch. "Now hold on here, I'm confused. Do you mean to tell me that you call pop, coke?"

The wolf nodded. "Yeah... So what?"

"So what? It's pop, Emmy. Sometimes soda, but never coke. Coke is a brand, not a type of beverage."

Emmy huffed and rolled his eyes. "Does it really matter? Look, we call it coke 'round here cause of the Coke bottling plant in Atlanta. It's just what we do."

Zerky shifted one leg onto the couch. "So let me get this straight; a normal conversation would go: 'Would you like a coke?' 'Yes.' 'What kind?' 'Pepsi.'"

"Yeah, that sound about right," Emmy said with a nod.

Zerky's lower jaw hung agape. "B-b-b-but that makes no sense!"

"Meh," Emmy said with a shrug. "It's just how we say it down in Georgia."

The hyon flopped against the couch and lightly smacked his face with his hand. "Oh brother. Okay, how about something else to drink. Do you have any iced tea?"

"Sure. Just one sec." Emmy popped of the couch and jaunted to the kitchen. A cold, refreshing iced tea would help clear the hyon's head. Zerky sighed and tried to not think about his friend's odd way of asking for a pop. Emmy returned a minute later. "Here you go," he chimed and handed the hyon a tall glass of tea.

"Ah, thanks Emmy. You know, I'm sorry about what I said earlier. You just caught me off guard for a second."

While the hyon brought the glass to his lips, Emmy replied "Don't worry about it. It's nothing personal or..."

"Ack!" Zerky nearly choked on the tea and coughed what he could back into the glass. "What the hell is this?"

A look of worried confusion crossed Emmy's face. "What? Is something wrong?"

"This tea is sweet!"

Emmy scratched his head. "Yeah... What's the problem?"

"I never said I wanted sugar in my tea." He tried wiping his tongue off his his hand, but it barely helped. "And it's really damn sweet."

"Well yeah, that's how tea's supposed to be. I got you a sweet tea, like you asked."

Zerky set the glass down and shot a glare of annoyance at his friend. "I said iced tea."

"It's the same thing."

Zerky nearly jumped from his seat. "It's not the same thing!" He lashed out and grabbed Emmy's shoulders. "Now listen to me. You say iced tea, and if you want it sweetened you then say so. It's not defaulted to sweet, with plain being the exception."

"That's just how we do it down in Georgia. Sweetened tea is really popular." There was a hint of anger in the wolf's voice, but Zerky pressed on.

"What is wrong with you people!? Why do you make things so complicated? What's next; red is blue, cats are dogs, soylent green is people!?"

"I'm not liking your tone right now." Emmy narrowed his gaze and scowled his lips.

"Well I can't help it. You Georgians are nuts."

"Stop it!"

"Or what, Emmy?" He poked the wolf's nose with a finger. "I know you, you aren't the type to get into a fight."

The nose poke was the last straw. In a flash, Emmy lunged forward and wrapped his muzzle around the hyon's hand.

"Ah! Hey what's the big ide-" His hand and half of his arm lurched forward as Emmy gulped. Powerful muscles dragged Zerky's appendage down the wolf's gullet. Zerky let out a "Meep!" and tried to pull his arm free. "What the hell are you doing? Let go of me!"

Emmy did the exact opposite. His gullet pulled again, slurping up the hyon's arm like a thick noodle. Zerky pushed against the wolf's face with his free paw, but it was not enough. As Emmy opened his maw wider than before, Zerky's hand slipped off. The sneaky wolf took the opening and, placing both hands on the hyon's head, shoved the entire thing into his dripping maw.

The world grew dark for the hyon, dark and wet. He was in quite a panic, shouting things like "I'm sorry!" and "Please let me go!" Whether Emmy heard him or not, it still did not change the direction he was traveling. The wolf's tongue lathered Zerky's face with globs of saliva. The humid air stunk and made it hard to breath. Zerky continued to cry, even as a loud gulp sent his head sliding down his friend's tight gullet. His face pressing against the soft flesh, Zerky found his panic rising higher. He tried flailing his arm around, but realized that his shoulder was now lodged between Emmy's jaws. He could feel his clothes grow heavy as they soaked up the lupine saliva, clinging the fabric to his fur.

The sounds of Emmy's body taunted him during his descent. He heard the beating of the wolf's heart, and the foreshadowing sound of something gurgling. His arm pierced the opening to the stomach, and his head followed a moment later. The stench was awful, and nearly knocked him out on the first whiff. But the smell was the least of his worries. Emmy's hands seemed to find their way to the hyon's buttocks, and a tight grip forced the hybrid to yelp.

What the heck was he-

Zerky's body jolted forward as Emmy pushed on the hyon's hindquarters. Zerky's face dove right into the pond of stomach juice. The curve of the stomach thankfully pushed his face out of the liquid, but the acid still stung his face like a bad burn. The darkness made it hard to shift around properly. When his legs popped in, things grew even more difficult. He started thrashing about in some vain attempt to break free, or perhaps force Emmy to throw up. But from the tone of the wolf's moans, though muffled by the fleshy walls, Zerky knew Emmy was enjoying it.

"Okay Emmy, y-you had your fun! I'm sorry for insulting you like that! Please...let me out!" Zerky hoped Emmy could hear him despite the situation. The acid was starting to gather, as pores within the stomach emptied more of the revolting liquid into the tight sac. "Emmy!?"

Emmy rubbed his engorged gut with pride and a sense of fullness. He heaved a heavy sigh from working such a big meal down. "Yeah Zerky, I hear you." Though the sound of the hyon's voice was a little hard to make out. "And I accept your apology."

That seemed to get Zerky riled up again. Oh it felt good to have him squirm. "That's great!" Zerky shouted happily. "So let me out!"

"Nope," Emmy replied swiftly, patting his belly contently.

"Why not!"

"Cause I was planning on eating you anyway." Zerky did not respond; perhaps he had succumbed already? A light struggle signaled he was still around. "I was going to wait until the end of the weekend. I had so much planned for your last couple of days... Oh well, your loss, my gain."

Suddenly his belly started rumbling furiously, or rather it was Zerky who was furious. "You backstabbing jerk! When I get out of here, I'm going to...going to..."

"Ha ha! Yeah, you do that Zerky. You'll get out in day or two, just not the way you want." Emmy reached down with both arms and hugged his big, full belly happily. He was going to enjoy the weekend, having nothing to do but laze around and bask in the pudge that Zerky was going to make. Emmy smacked his lips; he was thirsty from his meal. He looked down at the sweet tea on the table. No sense in letting it go to waste. With a little effort, he managed to reach out and grab the glass. He put the cool drink to his lips and sipped at it like a fine wine. He heaved a sigh, and then bellowed a belch that shook the couch. The taste of sweet tea and hyon lingered on his lips while he thought of which friend to invite over next weekend.

The End
