NOTE: I am trying out a different writing style, all I can say is that, since I can't even draw that good, let alone animate, I will try to write it in a way that the reader can then imagine the story as if they were watching it on TV.

Against a black backdrop, a light shines overhead. Ryan DuBon, a werewolf officer from the Scarnwood Police Department, steps into the light. He looks like he is in his early fourties, then again, werewolves age very slowly. He is wearing the usual standard custom-tailored dark blue uniform, with gunmetal grey mirrored shades covering his light yellow eyes.

"Warning-- The following program has been rated PG-14, and contains graphic content that may be inappropriate for younger audiences, such as profanity, violence, and... other stuff. Furthermore, the show's creater shall not be responsible for any mental harm done as a result of underage viewing. Viewer discretion is advised."

Dan Dinago then pops in from the right, holding an old-timey bomb (actually a time-delayed spring-loaded bowling ball).

"Hold this." Dan says as he hands the 'bomb' to Ryan and zips offscreen.

Ryan analyzes the object before the fuse goes inside.

"Aw, fff......" he says as he holds it away from himself.

(Poof!)

A puff of smoke is released from the bowling ball.

"Hmm?" Ryan said in confusion. He looks down at the bomb he is holding, to notice it has three holes in it, instead of one, before the bowling ball splits in half, the spring pushing the upper half with enough force to knock Ryan unconsious as the scene cuts to black.

=====================================================================================

The scene opens with a 'vertical video' of Dan as he begins his video log.

Dan: G'day ev'ryboday, Dingo Dan 'ere, on December twenty-seven. I'm currently recordin' my log with the new smartphone that I got from Serena for Christmas, 'cause, as of a couple'a nights ago, a big'ole spider gave me the drop, and as a result, my lappie fell off the bed and broke.

Dan points the smartphone at the laptop, then back at himself.

Dan: Luckily, using some of the leftover from what Rick gave me, WolfWerx's own Kitan helped me out by ground-up building a custom high-performance laptop. He told me it'd be done in a day, 'cause he works fast.

Offscreen, Kraig walks in carrying a box. Dan's eyes follow the fox as he puts the box on the bed.

Dan: And I do believe that is the exact box he sent it in.

Dan points his phone at Kraig, looking as clean as always, wearing a light gray vest over an eggshell-colored t-shirt, and a pair of light blue sweatpants.

Dan: Hi, Kraig.

Kraig: Oh, hi, Dan... and people watching this video.

Dan: Is that the laptop that Kitan sent us?

Kraig: It sure is.

Dan turns the phone around.

Dan: Now, for the unboxing...

Dan and Kraig help each other open the box and pull out the laptop from it, as Dan gently set it down on the table.

Kraig finds and unfolds the demo sheet that Kitan put in the box and reads from it.

Kraig: WolfWerx custom laptop, built by <KITAN> for <DAN DINAGO>. Here is your brand-new custom laptop from WolfWerx Performance and Customs. The first thing you'll see on it is the carbon fibre that covers a superstrong titanium alloy casing, tough as diamond, it'll survive a thousand foot drop with no dents or scratches afterward. Every single component is engineered using the latest in solid-state technology, right down to the fifteen terabyte hard drive. The dual quad-core processors run at two point seven gigahertz a core, giving you twenty-one point six gigahertz of data and graphics processing horsepower when you need it.

Dan: I gotta find a way to thank him, this is definitely a collector's item.

Kraig: This machine has Genuine M3P technology inside, every single tiny piece is manufactured in-house to provide the highest quality components.

Dan takes a look at the spec sheet on the next page.

Dan: Oh, my goodness! A whopping twenty-five gigs of RAM?

Kraig: So, that means Kitan went over the top with this machine. It's virtually futureproof!

Dan: Alright, let's start'er up!

Dan opens the laptop and presses the power button. The fan quietly whirs into operation, and within a few seconds, the custom user interface pops up onto the screen, where he notices a familiar blue orb sitting in the bottom-left corner.

Dan: Windows? Huh.

Ryan DuBon enters the house.

Dan: Oh, hi, Ryan!

Dan points the phone at Ryan, who puts his arms in front of his face.

Ryan: Ah, dude! Camera!

Dan: Oop, sorry. Did ya see my laptop?

Ryan: Don't care right now, I need a nap.

Dan: Alright, then.

Dan then turns the camera back at himself.

Dan: Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention -- Kraig and I are livin' at Ryan's place now. Yeah, the guy felt bad that we were livin' on the road, and took us in like abandoned pets.

Dan turns the phone around to show the laptop, still running.

Kraig: (reading) WolfWerx will attempt to recover files lost on your old physical hard disk using every theoretically possible solution available. But, even though we strive to rescue all of your important, sensitive data, some items may be rendered as unrecoverable, therefore...

Dan: WolfWerx can not be held responsible for any loss of data from a seriously damaged physical hard disk drive.

Dan hovers his phone over the piece of paper.

Kraig: Oh, Dan! Look, something came up on the screen!

Dan turns the phone towards the screen, and shows the pop-up asking to show a pre-loaded demo of the new laptop's capabilities.

A notification sound plays on the phone, as the camera is now looking at a random wall.

Dan: Uh-oh, battery's gettin' low. Uh, Kraig? Where'd we put the charging cable for this thing?

Kraig: I think we left it in the box. Let me get it.

Dan: Well, I guess that's it for this episode, guys an' gals, see ya soon!

A beep is heard and the scene blacks out like a television turning off, soon replaced by a SMPTE test card that reads "No Video Input" in all caps.
