Prologue
Year: 2067
It was muddy, and the rain showed no signs of stopping in the No-Mans' land between the two Trenches. This wasn't unusual this time of year in Tymbosa. "Why did we get called out here of all places?" asked a small black dragon with red eyes and golden membranes.
"Because Glorne it's just a job, when we finish _then_we can leave." Said a Fire Drake/Alaskan Sled Dog with greenish blue eyes and a cream collar that made it look like he was wearing a scarf.
"I know Xrohne but... Glorne was cut off abruptly.
"No buts about it. It's just one simple spying mission then we leave and live in peace for the rest of our lives, especially with the payload we're getting from this." Said Xrohne with certainty.
"Ok let's just get this over with. I just have a really bad feeling about this." There was a sudden boom 50 feet in front of them. They were tossed like ragdolls 15 meters back by the force of the blast. When they could stand up and the smoke cleared they were surrounded by pale skinned beings that they had never seen before, they also looked like they were holding some sort of primitive weapon to what Xrohne and Glorne were holding. Glorne was holding a sword that glowed with fire as brightly as her eyes did, and was wearing a camouflage standard grade military suit. Xrohne was holding an Officers fire pistol and was wearing black garb to help him blend in with the mud of No-Mans' land.
