Chapter 7 - Return of Bakujirou
#7 of A Charizard Menace
First and foremost, I'm sorry that I didn't summit anything last year so here is it, hope you all enjoy...
Starting from this chapter, I will change from 1st person prospective to 3rd person prospective ﾃ｢竄ｬﾋ彡ause it is easier to write this way... and don't forget about the Disclaimer thingy which is I don't own pokemon it is owned by Nintendo, Karman and Moses is Character I copied from Blood+... It's a very long time since Mark and the folks moved into Charizard Valley... They've been busy since Mark becomes one of the Blazers... Layna and Kaly went to Cranith for some Medical Lesson on how to become a healer like him while Cron and Shelldon become instructors. Since Shelldon become an instructor, there's a new gatekeeper in the valley, his name is Dave. He used to be a SATU also known as the Special Assassination and Tactical Unit, elite in assassination so there won't be any problem guarding a gate... The headmaster, Alestor, went on a trip to the Sinnoh region with his family for a vacation but Ronic decided to stay...
"Teacher, what are we going to learn today???" A charmander asked.
"Since you all handle the Flamethrower Technique so well last week... We are going to learn Fire Spin today..." An Adult Charizard says.
"Yippee..." The younglings yelled in unison.
"Huh‾ a Fire Spin huh... This should be fun..." One of the youngling said.
"C'mon Moses, lets go..." Karman said. (Karman and Moses are the only two survivors during the last accident in another valley...)
"Okay..." Moses said.
"Okay children, quiet down... First, safety precaution is needed..." as he finishes that sentence, Shelldon came out from the bushes. "Ah Shelldon, perfect timing..." The Adult Charizard said.
"Oh yeah sure, Iruka..." Shelldon said. (Iruka is a teacher that came after Mark moved into the valley a week later... He is from the Kenta region...)
"Now mimic my actions..." Iruka said as he starting to breathe out fire on the ground around himself and he start to spin with great speed and maintain the fire in a constant shape, forming a fire wall... it then died down when Iruka stop the technique...
"Nice technique..." Shelldon said.
"Yes, this technique offer an advantage to fire-type but it also has its weakness..." Iruka said. "Have you notice that when I spin the fire, I didn't make it cover my whole body but I only spins it???" Iruka asked.
"Yeah why you didn't cover your body with the flame teacher???" The charmander asked.
"Let's imagine when a fire that hot cover a piece of meat what will happen???" Iruka asked. "Anyone??? Moses..." Iruka asked as he pointed at Moses.
"The heat will cook the meat and if you cover it around your body, you will become a fried fillet... and the weakness is above, if anyone attack from above this technique is useless unless the user can manipulate the shape of the fire spin without rupturing the flame..." Moses answered.
"Interesting answer but its true. Remember not to cover the flame around your body, this is your main concern or else you'll become a fried fillet just like Moses said..." Iruka said with a chuckle and everybody laughs... "Now try the technique and if anything goes wrong call us, we'll be watching... and don't make the heat so intense, you'll burn yourself..."
After Iruka discuss about proper safety and rules that they should follow and then they went to try the technique for themselves while Iruka and Shelldon discuss about other things... One of them, he tried to manipulate the shape of the fire spin without rupturing it but he failed... The flame ruptured and the fire spread through the grass on the ground...
"Um Shelldon sir..." he poked Shelldon and he turned back to see the disastrous scene. Luckily he sprayed water and stop the fire from spreading.
"Holy Crap... This is disastrous...but I don't have enough water in my reserve to put out the flame..." Shelldon said. And suddenly a huge rock crash on the area and put out the flame. Everybody aw in amaze, was thinking who could've dropped a huge rock that is twice the size of a charmeleon...
"Everyone Okay???" a voice shouted from behind... Shelldon and the others look back and saw Kronic, Ashley and Sparky...
"Kronic??? You threw the rock????" Shelldon asked, surprised what a small charmeleon can do...
"Yea, at first I thought that I should let you put out the flame but since you don't have enough water in your reserve I need to take immediate action..." Kronic said.
"Okay, you are right to take action but something's bothering me... Come, I have something to ask you and your sister..." Shelldon said. "Hey Iruka, I need to go... get the children home and make sure they're safe..."
"Will do, Shelldon" Iruka said as he and the younglings walked away.
Kronic, Ashley and Shelldon walked to the other side of the valley, towards the healer's cave. "About the incident just now, how a charmeleon like you could throw a rock that is twice your size, it takes Ronac, a fully grown Charizard almost two months to lift such weight." Shelldon asked. "Well, I don't really know why but I just can lift it, even my sister can do it..." Kronic said and Ashley lifts a rock about Shelldon's size with just one hand. Shelldon saw it but he couldn't believe it. "There must be something to do with your genetic structure... speaking of your parent, where are they???" Shelldon asked. "I think mom is with Mr. Cranith and Dad... I don't know where he is..." Kronic said...
While Shelldon talking to Kronic and Ashley... Mark is at the beach, opposite end of the valley... He always comes to the beach to calm himself down. Recently, Mark is have some kind of vision, the visions starts in some ancient ruins, he saw many things that he felt he know something about it but he just can't seems the find the answer he seek... after a moment, fog started to thicken and the visibility around the beach starting to fade, then he heard some strange noise... It sounds like a voice talking to him... "Mark..." mysterious voice called out... "I'd know that you'll found me, one way or another..."He chuckled and said... "Nothing seems to scare you, is it???" The mysterious voice speaks. It sounds like a female... After a few minutes, the fog started to clear and a Mew appears...
"How long has it been, four perhaps five years since we parted..." She said...
"It's a long time, Sarah, I know..." Mark said...
"Yeah, I mean look at you, you're look more hunk than I know since I was released..." Sarah said...
"What's that suppose to mean???" Mark asked...
"Oh nothing, you look more handsome to me as a pokemon than a human..." Sarah said.
By the time she looks at Mark's face, she could tell that he's sad about something.
"Hey, what's the matter??? Is something bothering you... come tell me...?" Sarah said.
"Well I wanted to know more about my past, I don't know this for sure but I feel that I becoming a Charizard am some kind of history repeating itself... I feel that I wasn't human before and I've having some strange visions of some ancient ruins, it feels like I've been there before..." Mark said.
"Well you are a special person. Speaking of which, you still can talk human???" Sarah asked.
"Yeah, transforming into a charizard didn't actually take away my language capability." Mark said.
"Well, it's been fun talking to you but I need to go..." Sarah said.
"Go where... back home???" Mark asked.
"I can't, it have been taken over by the Team Rocket. Looks like Giovanni have won this time..." Sarah said.
"Hold a second, Giovanni... I thought I'd killed him..." Mark said.
"You did??? How did it happen???" Sarah asked.
"Well I did get some help from Kally's father, Lord Jason, He is a member of The Council Of Twelve... he uses some kind of spell to transfer some charizard technique to me so that I could fight team rocket..." Mark said.
"The Council Of Twelve... I've heard about it... I didn't being called a legendary for nothing you know...Well what happen next..." Sarah said.
"Well I did manage to kill Giovanni but with great price..." Mark said while he showed Sarah his bullet scar...
"Ooo, nasty... Well I've got to go, see you next time..." Sarah said.
"Where would you go... you have no where to be... stay with us... here I can guarantee your safety or in this case, vice versa..." Mark said... "Look, staying here you can provide us protection while we provide shelter... How does that sound???"
"Tempting...Umm Alright... I'll stay since you beg." Sarah Said.
**Meanwhile**
"If I remembered correctly, there should be... FOUND IT..." A Typlosion thought. The Typlosion had been walking through the forest for the last two days. His companion is a Charmeleon. After another hour of walking, the young Quilava starts to whine.
"Baku, are we there yet??? We've been walking for the last two days..." the young Quilava said, impatiently.
"Patience Kent, it isn't as easy as it looks to find the way back to Charizard Valley as it looks, now keep quiet so that we won't attract any large pokemon to attack us." Baku said.
"Yeah right Baku, as if anything like that will happen here..." Kent said.
"Where have I heard that before... hmm...? Oh Yeah, like the time in the Sinnoh Region, you have to scream around when a Stunky bum on you and attract a Bastiodon to attack us huh..." Baku said, voice rose.
"Okay Okay I'll keep quiet... Sheesh, sometimes you're just over reacted..." Kent said.
Suddenly they heard a huge roar and they looked behind, A huge Nidoking just stepped out from the bushes and he looked angry... Kent ran behind Baku and hide behind a rock.
"See what I mean Kent, this is what you get for yelling everywhere you go..." Baku said loudly, almost shouted.
"You guys just walked into my territory and not only that you wake me up from my afternoon nap!!!" The Nidoking shouted angrily...
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." Kent said loudly...
"Too late, now I'll finish you guys off..." The Nidoking said and he take a stance, ready to perform a Giga Impact...
"What the... That's a Giga Impact, normal Nidoking can't do that, he must be a captured pokemon once and someone used a TM68 on him or he found one himself... Normal skills won't match Giga Impact... Unless I use Fire Wheel..." Baku thought and he followed him, taking a stance, ready to fight...
The Nidoking jumped up to the skies and he charges energy inside of him, building up the energy he need to perform a Giga Impact... When he finished charging, he dropped himself towards Baku and Kent... Before he touches Baku and Kent, Baku charge a powerful flamethrower on his back, and fire a flamethrower in front of him then he uses a quick attack combine with the flamethrower to create his special technique, the Flame Wheel... The fire around Baku is so intense and blood red that it roasted the Nidoking and tackled by Baku's quick attack, he fainted after the attack... After a while, two Charizard flew towards them...
"Hey you guys, are you okay???" One of the Charizard said...
"Yeah we're alright... But what about him???" Kent said to the Charizard...
"Oh him??? He'll be fine... He get roasted by stronger technique like a fire blast before and look at him, he can still rampage around and attack you... But he's been through a lot though... We let them stay here because he's old... He's an abandoned pokemon for almost 10 years... Way before Alestor becomes the headmaster..." The Charizard said...
"Baku... isn't it bad that you roast him up so badly... I mean he is very old and lonely..." Kent said.
"Well, if I don't roast him up, he'll squish you like a pancake with that Giga Impact..." Baku said.
"What, he used Giga Impact??? What did you do???" Another Charizard said.
"What is it Cron, calm down, what's wrong and what's a Giga Impact???" The other Charizard said.
"Well Ronac, you don't know Sam this well, normally Nidoking don't learn Giga Impact by themselves, it is only learnable through TM68 just like overheat that your brother took from the ran away trainer... That Giga Impact he learn is from his previous trainer, he love his trainer so much that he can sacrifice himself for him... Ever since the trainer abandon him, he doesn't use Giga Impact because it hurts for him to remember his trainer abandon him and he doesn't use unless he is very angry; I believe Bakujirou of The Flame Wheel knows about it..." Cron said.
"Bakujirou of the Flame Wheel??? You never told me you have a title, Baku..." Kent said.
"Well I don't brag so you don't know..." Baku said.
"Wait you're Bakujirou??? You're the first who obtain the moltres' fire??? But that's almost 7 years ago... This means you're..." Ronac said...
"Fifteen... I know..." Baku said... looking a bit sad...
"What's wrong???" Kent said...
"Well you see, rumor said that whoever is to be the first to posses 'moltres' fire will be granted eternal..." Cron said...
"Life... but there's something you should know, the first Pokﾃδｩmon who got the flame will not grow old while their partner will continuously age and eventually watching the one you loved die in front of you..." Baku said and a tear fell from his eye; he turned back and sat down on the edge...
"So Shana..." Cron said and Baku nodded...
"Okay lets not bring up the sad story and go home okay... but first thing first..." Ronac said and he went to Sam to help him back to his place... "Don't worry about me, you guys go first, I'll catch up..." Ronac said.
As they went back to the valley, Ronac helped Sam Back to the cave he lived, Sam settle down and try to speak...
"Ronac... I'm sorry that I attack your friends, I didn't know that they were from the valley, I thought they were trespassing in the area and they woke me up so I tried to defend the valley..." Sam said.
"Well be careful of who you're attacking next time... that's Bakujirou of the Flame Wheel" Ronac said...
