What is a trainer to do, when he meet's another who conflicts with his own way of thinking. The only thing that trainers do when they have to butt heads.

Unova, the region of dreams, and the location of the most special event in the world, The PWT, or The Pokémon World Tournament. The previous location was unable to house the increased amount of spectators, forcing it's relocation to Driftveil City where it is aimed to becoming the largest televised event in history. With the amount of people aiming to be the best, only the cream of the crop, those who have proven themselves in battle and strategy are allowed to enter. To accommodate, Gear Station in Nimbasa City rebuilt their Facility and increased their lines to run to every city in the region, along with even more possible battle subway cars for those wanting to battle.

Ever since the PWT was unveiled, people were complaining of the increased interest in battling, saying things regarding kids wanting to just battle and nothing else. Despite those complaints, it ended up in all of Unova being connected, with minor impact to the environment and local Pokémon. Today in Nimbasa, it was a rather ugly day, like a Muk waking up from a long night partying. Dark skies, and a downpour of rain, as if Kyogre was sent out in battle. Running towards the station were a trainer and his Pokémon, holding his chest closely with an umbrella nearly being swept away by the wind. The large station was lit up for anyone still needing a ride, though most of the lines were down due to the weather.

"Damn it...such a bad day. Can't believe it...You alright in there El?" asked the trainer, getting a faint squeeze around his body as his Pokémon clutched his chest happily. The claws weren't a problem, as long as his shirt wasn't ripped, but it was nice and warm inside the trench coat, if not bumpy. As he passed through the doors, he breathed a sigh of relief, seeing the redesigned Gear Station having more than two floors now. Before it was only the 1st floor for staff and underground for the all the lines. Now there was a massive lobby, similar to one based in the Kalos region, with all the subway and trains upgraded to bigger, better cars. The light music was a bit bland for his taste, but at least he was able to relax, unfolding his umbrella and opening up his trench coat.

No one was around it seemed, letting his number one Pokémon out for a bit of fresh air. Out jumped a weavile, stretching a bit after hugging her master for the past half an hour or so. What was odd about the weavile was the color of the gem in its forehead, which was green instead of the normal yellow, with a crack inside of it. Another weird thing which was obvious was the fact that it wore clothing, a deep black pair of pants and a dark grey shirt with a white line going down the left side of both the leg of the pants and the shirt. The fashion sense was interesting, the weavile also had a soothe bell around its neck, which gently rang as they walked. Pokémon sometimes wear articles of clothing, but rarely would any have a full outfit on along with a held item, since it would hinder their ability in battle. Luckily this weavile had no trouble what so ever, which was a rare sight. With the trainer running very late to get back to Opelucid City, everyone had already taken care of going home from the impending storm, "A bit of a bust today, but no matter. It should be beautiful tomorrow, and another day to be out there. If I had known it was going to rain magikarps out there, I wouldn't have spent the extra time talking to that lovely lady.", he remarked, having a very smooth suave voice.

The weavile shook its head with a sigh, wishing its master would focus a bit more on battling, since it did very little of it today. Though victory was easily achieved in the 3 battles done today, it was against measly bug catchers, who couldn't hold a candle to its ice punch. They were greeted by one of the staff who walked over, dressed in a blue uniform with a Gear on his hat, "Welcome to Gear station! Terrible weather I say....but glad you were able to join us. Trains to North Unova are to the left, and south are to the right. Thank you for choosing Gear Station as your method of transportation." he said with a smile, the trainer nodding while reaching down to hold his weavile's hand. The two walked for a bit, going past the signs advertising for Dusk Balls and TMs, now being reusable which was a big deal for every trainer.

As they walked down the escalator, the weavile noticed that not a soul was round, not even smelling any Pokémon nearby either, giving a <:D expression on its face while tugging at its master hand. He looked down and took his hat off with his free hand, to show he had brown hair, and several scars on his face along with the light beard and side burns. A long thin scar crossed over his nose, with two more going on the left side of his face. Despite the marks of his past, he had an overall cheerful look on his face, giving a smile to his part and knew what it wanted, "Well...alright. Everyone must have vacated home already. Go for it.", he replied, the weavile happily jumping up and off the bottom step of the escalator with its soothe bell ringing from its landing. The trainer took a moment to unbutton his trench coat, feeling very warm being inside the station now. The weavile spun around, soon being covered in a bright light, similar to the one given off during an evolution.

After about two seconds, with the trainer covering his eyes with his hat, the light faded, seeing his weavile getting into a more comfy form, "Finally. As much as I like keeping close, a girl needs to stretch her legs." said a feminine voice, the weavile having transformed into a more prominent human looking form. Though still a weavile, she grew quite a bit, to a tall 5'4", and her pants having stretched to accommodate her enhanced form, becoming like shorts with her somewhat wide hips, and the shirt now looking more like a sports bra against her fairly shaped bosom. She had a rather fit body, which is expected of someone who spends most of her time fighting, putting a large white hand on her hips with a look annoyance with her trainer, "You know Rufus, we could've gotten here earlier if you didn't try talking to that propeller haired girl at the theme park and following her to the stadium."

Rufus shook his head, his trench coat already fairly dry and taking it off to hold it in his hand, along with the umbrella. He revealed his rather classy outfit, which was a black vest, with a red buttoned up long sleeve shirt, and black dress pants, which along with his black shoes showed that he was a man of style, "Come now. That Skyla is one spicy pepper. Just too bad she had her head in the clouds to properly notice me El. Anyway don't sweat the details....You did beat those bugs with one punch. I'd say that deserves a reward back home huh?" he complimented with a smile and wink, making the weavile blush but shake her head. Reward could mean a lot of things, personally hoping for a certain kind of reward that wasn't poffins or something else. Trainer Rufus walked up to her and patted her on the shoulder and walked forward, "I'm sure you'll like it. You do have quite a bit of energy on you. Though...where is the Opelucid City line...there it is.", he wondered for a moment, before finding the light blue line which represented the Technological City of his home town.

The two walked for a bit, before going to the northern end of the station, the floor having blue outlines with two sides of the track easily marked as departing to the right and returning to the left. Though the weavile heard a voice coming a bit before coming into the area, when Rufus finally noticed that another trainer seemed to have been late as well. Whatever he was doing, he was talking to someone, most likely on the Xtranscever. Rufus noticed his Pokémon being somewhat uncomfortable, knowing she preferred to be alone with him when relaxing due to the attention she got from her fuller form, "No worries El. He's talking to someone. Doubt he'll notice you...trainers talking about types usually ends up with deep discussion of strategy, especially with friends.", he said to help his partner relax, getting a nod from her as he took a seat, where she preferred to remain standing. She rested her back against the large schedule sign, closing her eyes to help relax herself until the train came.

"...Dude you need to change your team. I told you this the last time I beat you. There are more than 20 Pokémon available you know." said the voice from the Xtranscever, getting a growl of displeasure from the trainer talking. Despite being best friends, they had a hard rivalry said to equal what the legendary Champion Red had with Former Champion Blue, "Come on Krow. You only got lucky from that critical hit. Besides, who uses ice types? They suck!" he shouted back, making the weavile open an eye for a moment. Being an ice type, that was somewhat offensive to her. Rufus was checking the net on his Xtranscever, thinking about what accessories to buy as he shook his head, "No...Kanto brands are more expensive...but I do want that Johto Poke ball made from acorns...", he muttered to himself, listening to the conversation once ice types got an insult and hoped it would only be a one line thing.

"It wouldn't have mattered since I had something to counter the majority of your team. You have a major disadvantage to that one type...really need to learn that types are a determining factor in battles bro.", replied the friend, the weavile smirking a bit as it sounded like something her master would say, who was a big strategist in battles, especially when types are involved. The trainer was still annoyed that he lost, but it was a close match which was decided with a critical hit ice beam, "Bah it's all about power. You forget my Rizan beat your Cradilly? I got you with heat wave before you could move. One hit against a rock type! And don't make me remind you about the ice type you're rambling about got taken out with one blow from Rizan as well. They're just a bad type in general." he commented, making the weavile clench her fists.

Rufus looked up at her, hearing the cracking of her fingers, "Relax Elgiza. They're talking about their opinions. Everyone is allowed opinions on what they like and don't like. As long as he's not talking about you, chillax." he said to his trusted partner Pokémon, clenching her teeth lightly and trying not to get her blood boiling. Her type was a major factor in her loss long ago, the cause of the crack in her gem as she gave it a rub with a hand while thinking back to that day. Ice has a disadvantage against steel, a type that she herself is not a big fan of.

"Yea, Cradily is a rock/grass type, meaning you did neutral damage. Nothing to get too happy for man. Besides, that "ice" type you're bad mouthing took out 4 of your dragons before you could do anything. Your Rizan is strong, but a trainer can't rely on winning with one Pokémon alone. Weavile is a good Pokémon and a ying to your dragon yangs in battle.", continued Krow, having fought him with his team, but the power of the dragons his friend had was formidable due to their power and type coverage. Elgiza at least knew that whoever that trainer was on other end, would probably get along with Rufus quite well seeing that he was another Weavile user. When it came to dragons, rarely any could get more than a move in edgewise after a fierce ice punch to the stomach.

"Please. I just didn't expect it. You keep changing your team every time we fight. I keep mine consistent and constantly improve what I can and can't do which each Pokémon. Weavile sucks. Can't take a hit, and it's the only Pokémon having the downside of being a dark type too. Another sucky type which is horrible with ice types in general. Say goodbye with brick break." commented the trainer, Elgiza punching the sign with a light growl. Rufus was somewhat annoyed as well, but he was able to compose himself and close his Xtranscever, "...I kinda...not liking what he's saying either Elly...But relax. The train will be here in 5 minutes." he ordered, Elgiza already walking over to the trainer. Rufus put a hand on his head with a sigh, quickly getting up and setting his things down before going over to stop her from causing too much mayhem.

"Every Pokémon is viable. Surprised you haven't learned this with the 100 plus battles we had.....whatever. I'll teach you all you want next time. We still meeting up in Driftveil tomorrow?" asked Krow, the trainer giving a nod and clenching his fist proudly with intentions to get his revenge, "Hell yea. I'll be there tomorrow. I just have some---huh?" remarked the trainer, being distracted by a tap on his shoulder. It was not a normal human finger he saw, quickly standing up and turning around in surprise, "Hey...got something to say about Weaviles? Say it to me.", threatened Elgiza, seeing that the male human was somewhat short, standing at her height with bright red hair and piercing red eyes similar her own.

He was dressed in a black t-shirt and blue jeans, with a red long sleeve turtle-neck under that black t-shirt, along with black sneakers. At his belt were 6 poke balls on the right side and 4 elemental stones on the left, those being leaf, water, fire and thunder, "Some...what? Everything okay Eura?" asked Krow, a bit worried as his friend was cut off mid conversation and looking to the side. Rufus quickly came up and pulled Elgiza back by the shoulder with a nervous smile. She felt a vein pop in her forehead, her fists clenched tightly while her master held her back somewhat, "Nah dude everything's cool. Some chick cos-playing as a weavile seems angry over what I said. Pretty damn good one I have to say...better than what the Maniac's wear.", complimented Eura, showing to Krow real fast as he turned the Xtransceiver in Elgiza's direction, which Krow gave a thumbs up to.

She was a bit flustered for a moment, considering she got a thumbs up from a stranger rather than a weird look was rather refreshing but odd at the same time, "Umm...Rufus...was that a compliment? Or should I be angry?.." she asked, Rufus giving a light chuckle, not the first time someone thought she was cos-playing. Eura bid his friend goodbye and closed the Xtransceiver, focusing on the two newcomers, "Now then, you were saying?" queried the crimson haired trainer, Elgiza remembering why she came up to him.

Before she could talk, she got a pat on the back which made her turn and look to her master, "Well, she wasn't very happy about what you said about Weaviles, being that she is one. Don't let her look fool you, she's just a rare Mega Weavile, but a weavile at heart.", explained Rufus, seeing Eura turn his head and wrap his arms together to look at the feminine looking weavile with a Band-Aid on above her nose. He looked at her for a few moments, getting light scowl from the weavile before shaking his head, "Mega Weavile? I never heard of that...nor have I heard of a Pokémon that can talk so clearly. Anyway I didn't mean to insult your weavile personally. Just they aren't great...haven't met one I couldn't beat in one hit..." he shrugged, prompting Elgiza to clench her teeth lightly.

"Well trainer...why not put your money where your mouth is.", she remarked while staring down the red haired trainer, building up a bit of ice around her claw tips and looking turning to look at her master, "Master, challenge him to a battle!...please!", she added, hoping to silence that insulting mouth once and for all. From what she gathered, he used dragons, which should be easy for her to take down. Only problem was that Rizan she heard him mention, the one who swept that Krow's team and that other weavile, who had to be a type that she is weak to. Eura raised an eye brow, very rarely seeing a Pokémon who asked the trainer to issue the challenge.

Rufus sighed and pulled his other hand out of his pocket, finding no other alternative given that he insulted his partner's species, "...Really can't let that go huh? I'll have to show you what a weavile can really do then...Eura was it? I challenge you to a flat Standard battle." he declared while holding grabbing a poke ball and expanding it. Eura smirked and grabbed a ball himself, walking back to far end of the waiting area, where there was an arena just in-case for trainers to battle while awaiting the trains, "Name's Eurasia. You know, I was pretty pissed losing to my friend earlier. Beating you down should cheer me up...uh...what was your name?" he asked, seeing his opponent walk to the other trainer spot.

Elgiza ran beside him, hoping he would send her out first. She was ready and willing to fight, like a rabid Arcanine who recently became a parent, "Eurasia?...that name does seem familiar...eh doesn't matter. I'm Rufus. Hope you're ready Eurasia!", he shouted, the lights turning on and focusing on the impending battle as Rufus pressed the button at his foot to prepare the arena properly, with walls rising up to protect the train tracks and any bystanders who wanted to watch, making the perfect closed off battle arena.
