(apparently today's page was too short, so I'm putting in a recap for everyone) Last time on The Forgotten wolf: Suddenly from the darkness beyond Aniu a young girl in a white dress and long brown hair tackled Aniu, throwing her to the ground. "GAH! Uhm... heh..." The young girl looked up and blinked seeing Kunari. "Who?" She asked in a high, adoringly cute voice. Kunari couldn't help himself. He laughed and curtly introduced himself. "My name is Kunari. And who might you be, little one?" a smile played across his face. The little girl jumped on him and poked his head. "The name's Charity little..." before she could continue Aniu stood up and took her off of Kunari. "Run along run along!" She chuckled nervously trying to rush the over excited Charity out the door. When Charity was off him, he asked "So, does she do that all the time?" still laughing. He felt very good, for an odd reason. He thought nothing of it, though. "Twenty four seven, three sixty five" Aniu said chuckling. Charity growled and ran back to Kunari. "I wanna stay with little brother!" Silence followed Charitys demand. Aniu sighed. "WHAT?!" Kunari couldn't believe what he just heard. "You... called me brother... and little at that. why?" Charity smiled at him. "You feel that warmth in your stomach that never is there? Well... that's your blood calling to mine. We're brother and sister! I died many years before you though... but yeah! We have the same parents and everything! Wait till you meet Dian-" "Stop right there." Aniu growled and picked up Charity who has begun to struggle. "To the room... okay?" Charity looked at Aniu's face and froze. "I'm sorry... I hurt you again Aniu-chan..." She waved at Kunari. "Bye Kunikun!" "No, don't go!... Aniu, can't you explain what's going on? You can't really expect me to just sit, while she says such things." Kunari was becoming more tense. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aniu turned to Kunari and sighed then glared at Charity. Charity smiled meekly and then twirled back to Kunari's side. "Well it's the truth ya'know! Diana was our mother, we're of the same blood! Not of the same father though... hehehe!" She giggled and hugged Kunari's arm. Aniu closed her eyes and then looked at Kunari. "What is it you want to know?" She asked, her face very serious, with pain glinting in her dark gold eyes. Kunari had a hard tone, but still wasn't angry "Everything! Who is Diana? What happened to her? And why don't I remember anything?" Aniu looked at Charity and closed her eyes. Charity nodded and skipped out of the room, quickly waving goodbye to Kunari. "Diana... is your mother, and a goddess. Your father..." She spat at the word father "was jealous of you... and he decided to take it out on your own mother for creating a being stronger than him, therefore he attacked her and then took all of your powers away. Diana died... and there you were, laying there completely helpless." She sighed and sat down in a chair and ran a finger through her long brown hair. "I found you after I felt Diana's power seep away, she told me to find you and so I did. You were so young, your eyes had not even opened." She looked at him and smiled lovingly. "You seemed hungry though so I went to get food, but when I returned you were... gone..." Kunari had no idea what to say. /I'm the son of a goddess?/ He got up some courage and asked "but... how can you prove that? I just don't think I can believe this." He didn't know what he wanted.... did he want her to be wrong, but remain a mystery to himself? or did he want to face up to it with the chance that he might be able to do something about it, and finally know who he really was? "If you can offer any proof, then I won't argue." He waited. Aniu thought for a moment, and then stepped to his side, whispering "Trust me." She laid a glowing hand on his chest. He was scared, but didn't pull away. The white glow slowly spread from her hand through Kunari's chest. Soon, Kunari's entire body was glowing. His eyes went wide, as he fell to his knees. His shoulders began to spasm, trembling, but not from pain.... suddenly, in a flash of light, a beautiful pair of feathered, gray wings appeared on his shoulders. Kunari was breathing hard, wondering what just happened. he could feel the wings as if they could push him into the air whenever he wished. When Aniu took her hand away, the glow died down, and Kunari's wings disappeared in the same flash of light they had come. Kunari no longer doubted her... he just sat down, trying to recover his breath, still scared out of his mind. Aniu sat beside him, gently petting his back, whispering to him softly. "It's okay... Nothing bad has happened. shhhh..." Kunari was slowly relaxing. he tried to speak, but only managed to say "What... I... how?" Aniu replied simply, "I have them, too... all the gods do." Charity was sitting idly by. She had come out upon hearing the loud "Sheen!" of Kunari's wings, and had watched them since. She now came to sit on Kunari's other said, and peeped cheerfully "So how are you, little brother?" "I... I'm.. fine, I guess." He replied, still trying to calm down. "Well, now everything's alright! You're here, Brother!" She said, bouncing back and forth happily. "You want to play a game, Little Brother?" "Why do you keep saying "little brother?", he asked, annoyed. "Because I was born first" Charity was born first, but had technically died at a younger age than Kunari, which was why Kunari couldn't tell she was older. She still retained every childish part of her body and mind that she had before dying. Kunari, on the other hand, wasn't even sure how old he was. "Well, then, what game do you have in mind?" He asked. Without pausing, she slapped Kunari's arm and yelled "Tag! You're It!" as she quickly spun about and dashed outside. Kunari smiled. "Oh, no you don't!" He gave full chase, taking tight turns around corners, trees and bushes, trying to tag Charity back. They played like this for a couple of hours, before Aniu finally called them in to dinner.
