Back at Kassandras home, her mother went to her room to check on her. "Sweetie? Are you okay?" She knocked on the door and tried to open it and noticed it was locked. "Kassandra? Open the door up, please? Let me speak with you." When she didn't hear anything she got scared and got a key and unlocked her door. When she noticed Kassandra wasn't there she yelled for Kassandras dad. "Rascal! Get in here!" He walked in her room and she said, "Kassandra is go Rascal. Gone!" She said starting to cry.
"There is no reason to cry Avalena! She'll be back!" said her father.
"No! She isn't going to come back! Just like Jorden never came back after you had sent him away! You took away my only son and now you've done it with my only daughter because of her being gay like her brother!" she said crying.
"You think it's okay for girls and boys to be able to love the same sex?!" yelled Rascal.
"Yes! I don't see why they shouldn't if they're in love!" yelled Avalena. "I want my children back! Whether they're gay or straight I don't really care! I just want my babies back!" she yelled while crying. Rascal went to their bedroom and started packing some of his stuff up. Avalena walked in and asked, "what are you doing?" she said slowing her tears down.
"I'm moving out. I don't think this will be able to work between us anymore." He packed up and started heading out.
"So you're going to just up and leave me, too? Just like you made my children? Fine! Get out. I want a divorce anyhow!" she pushed him out and shut the door behind him. She sat behind the door crying by herself. She thought to herself about being all alone now and no one to hold her anymore. She got up and got her cell phone. First, she called her oldest son Jorden. It went to his voice mail and she said while still crying, "Hi Jorden. I wanted to see if you were still talking to me... You can come home now if you'd like, too. And you can even bring your boyfriend or husband if you have one. Love you son! Bye!" then she hung up and called Kassandras cell. Hers went to voice mail, too. So she left her a message saying, "Sweetie. Please come home! You can continue seeing Rosalee if you aren't to mad at me! I love you baby girl! Call me back when you can or just come home! Bye!" She hung up and went to her bedroom.
She felt so alone without Rascal or her kids home. She got into her pj's and went to sleep. It was around 11 at night and Kassandra heard the message. Jorden had seen that his mom called and listened to it as well at 11 at night. Jorden was happy to hear that he could finally come home after 5 years of being out of the house. He called her cell, but she was asleep so he left her a message. "Hey mom... Sorry I didn't answer I was out with my husband. You remember Kris? We're engaged now! We'll come over in the morning if that's ok. I love you to mom and miss you so much! See you tomorrow!" He hung up and packed a few things then went to sleep.
Kassandra listened to the message with Rosalee and then she called her back. "Hi mom... I'm here at Rosalees for the night we'll come home in the morning. I love you too, mom! Good night!" She hung up and looked at Rosalee. "Did you hear the message? I'm able to see you still!" The girls screamed in excitement and hugged each other tightly. They cuddled in Rosalees backyard and went to sleep under the stars.
