Chapter One:Nile
"Nile,Lets head home.Looks like rain soon". A experienced,fatherly voice came from a Lucario's muzzle."Sure father,but.I don't see any clouds". A small yellow Riolu said,grabbing onto the older Lucario's back."Its not what you see,its what you feel.the air pressure dropped.Can't you tell?". Nile shook his head and the Lucario sighed,expecting more from the young one. "When I was your age-". "Father,I've heard this story so many times I could almost tell it to you". "Well I'm going to tell you until you can tell it to me. "He earned an groan from his son then continued on. "When I was your age,I was already sensing aura,even as an Riolu.The least you can do is sense a simple drop in air pressure,even the humans can do it". "Don't compare me to those monsters,I am nothing like them father,and you know it". "Don't call them monsters.I once had a human you know.they all aren't like that". Just as his father was finishing talking,the first raindrop fell. "Let's head home.Don't want to catch sick now do we?"
Rain began to fall upon them,cascading like a bundle of rivers falling from the sky.This rain wasn't normal.It was quite unnatural,Nile's Father had said he thought the humans caused it.But Nile Doubted humans could do something of such magnitude. "But father,I can't see the sky anywhere,You mean to tell me humans can do this?" His father simply chuckled,shielding his son from the rain,caressing the fun atop his head occasionally,then replied a while after. "Nile,the Humans are powerless,yes.or at least most of them,But what they lack in natural defenses,they make up for with machines." Nile looked at his father as if he were a Magikarp walking on its fins. "Their puny machines?I bet you could crush them,you are the strongest around." . "Nile,how many times have I told you.No matter how powerful I am,there will always be those stronger than me.No one stays at the top of the food chain,they just maintain it for a while.The Old and weak die,the strong survive. Thats how it works in this world."
The older Lucario stopped moving,ears perked up.he tilted and rotated his head,trying to better catch sound.He gave up that technique,then closed his amber eyes and his dreadlocks lifted,Swaying from side to side then they abruptly tilted to his eastern side.He opened his eyes in shock. "Nile..I want you to get far from here,Now.." he whispered just lowly enough to where only he could hear him.He barely had spat the words out when a Human walked out,spinning on his fingers a purple ball with two curvy marks in white and two pinkish plates jutting from its upside.He wore a vest around his chest,lined with identical pokeballs,Long greenish brown shorts and a red T-shirt under the vest.His dark,jet black hair reflected some sunlight,glinting darkly in the trees' shadows. "A family of Lucario and Riolu,How rare! Bonus,a shiny....think I'll make it mine.."He said pressing the button on the purple ball,releasing in a red flash a small pokemon he had never seen before.It was small,a little shorter than him,Had long feet,a whip-like tail ending in a bulbous end and stubby little paws.Its head was pink,blue eyes and short ears.Its fur was so fine it could hardly be seen. "Mew,Surprise me,use Metronome on the Lucario." The pokemon stood still,pointing its tail strait for the sky,waving it in a rhythmic motion,its tail seeming to swing wider out until it hit the ground.Almost in the same second,a orange glow came from the pokemon's stomach,Lucario immediately got into a battle stance,preparing to block whatever came from the creature.It flew.Not looking capable of air,but looking like a fluid flowing with the breeze.It wrapped its tail around his Father's chest.and held its paws around his neck.Face to face with him.Surely father could pull of such a puny pokemon,But he saw the muscles in its tail flex,and knew it would be quite the challenge.the orange Orb seeming to go up its thought,and into his mouth,which was agape.The orb sat there,seeming to grow bigger by the second,making a low humming noise. Until the Pokemon closed his mouth,the ball exploding into a beam strait for his fathers face.His father fell.He'd never seen his father be defeated,All of a sudden his image of his father was torn apart.He landed on the ground.Gasping for air he choked out a few words before passing out. "Nile.....run". Immediately he sprinted away.Putting a vast amount of distance between them and himself.He made it quite far,Until the creature who had knocked out his father grabbed him by the tail,pulling him back to where his father was laying. "Let me go!,What have we done to you?". The pokemon sighed in pity, "I have no choice...Its masters orders".
He was dropped cleanly in front of the human,who held a purple ball in his hands.Nile tried to flee,but the human stepped on his tail. "Come with me" .He said throwing the purple sphere at his father,who disappeared into the purple ball with a red flash. "The pokemon professors will pay top dollar for a specimen like you". He said in a sadistic tone,glaring down at him. "Tell ya what,Instead of throwing it,lets play tag". He pulled another purple sphere of his vest "Your...",he let go of the ball,it falling directly onto him,himself also being absorbed into the light.He heard one last word from the trainer as he was packed into the ball.He would never forget that word,it stinging his brain,echoing like a ripple in a pond."It"
It was unlike anything Nile had ever experienced before.He was inside a sphere of metal,a little platform on which he stood seemed to be the only place he could go.There was a laser aimed on the platform.Most likely the device used to shrink him down,it was still glowing a faint red from when he was absorbed into the ball.Every footstep he took he heard a clanging noise,He hated this. Worstly of all,his father was nowhere to be seen."Dad?"he called out,hoping for a reply.But of course,none came.Then he heard a voice coming from beyond his metal,spherical cell."Nile,are you okay?"his heart lifted.he then tried to move beyond the platform,instantly he felt a huge shock and jumped back."Ow..". He yelled out trying not to let show how much that hurt."Its the obedience mode", his father again spoke to him."The machine shocks you until you cater to the humans every whim.Try to stay on the platform,and it shouldn't shock you". Just as his father had ended conversing with him,He felt himself enlarge again,turning red as the laser was shot at him.He then was on the grass in front of the trainer who had caught him.He had a stupid grin on his face he wanted to punch clean. "Let me go!And wheres my father". He began to yell until the trainer held up his hand and spoke. "I don't understand you,But if its the Lucario you want to see,here". The human pressed the button on the pokeball in his hand,then his father materialized in a similar fashion as him."Dad!"he leaped onto him,tears falling on his parents fur as he wept. "Nile,Be strong and don't shed tears in front of him". he scolded. "The Lucario is coming with me little one,But you will be sent back to professor Oak".The human snidely commented,the grin growing bigger with each word. His father bared his teeth at the human,growling loudly.The he took a step back then stopped. "Back in your ball you go.I'll put obedience mode on in a second,Don't worry"He pressed the button,his father once again dissapearing. Nile had never truly felt alone.All his life,his father was there.Even after his mother's death,He was there.To make the pain go away,to make him feel as if he had a place.To make him feel loved.Now,the only one he had ever loved was trapped inside a puny ball,and he could do nothing to assist.
Something Inside him snapped,He was filled with a deep,loathing rage for the human.He had never felt such feelings. It had scared him at first,he denied he could ever feel such malice.But as he stared at the humans emerald green eyes,only one word stood to mind.Kill.He wanted him dead,he would pay for his actions gravely.Then his father's words flashed to mind:The Old and weak die,the strong will survive...
Surely he could kill him.He was just a human.powerless and frail.But there was a problem with his dark desires.So was He,he was a runt.He couldn't even win a fight with a Caterpie. He'd seen other pokemon accidentally step on the poor creatures,harming them intensely if not killing them all together.But none of that mattered at the moment.It was do or die,and the human was just about to press the button on the ball again.
He swiped the ball from his hands,throwing it far out of either of their reaches. "What the hell?". He yelled out as Nile swiped him across the face,not using any force.Just testing the human's mettle.He laughed deviously at the human's pain.Savoring his groans of agony as he proceeded to use Force Palm on his solar plexus.The human fought back,landing powerful blows on him,but his endurance and stamina were far greater than his.The Human reached for his vest,about to pull of another sphere,most likely containing the creature who had defeated his father,he slapped it out of his hands.Tossing it into the grass,where It's weight made the thickness of the turf sink. "You little-". He cut the human short,using Quick Attack into his lower back,aiming directly for the ridge in his back.He fell to the ground,but not before delivering an uppercut into Nile's Chin.Nile was knocked into the air,the human got up kicking,knocking him into a tree,He gasped as the air left his body.Panting,he laid against the tree.His vision failing,he noticed the trainer had recovered his spheres,clicking them to his vest. "Nice try but,Its over". he said pulling Nile's pokeball off his vest.Mere milliseconds away from the laser's activation,Nile put everything he had into one final attack:Final Gambit.A swift kick to the humans neck,a jab to his chest,and a headbutt to his solar plexus,each hit earning noise from the human's body,a shrill,cruel cracking noise.They both fell to the ground.The pokeball's laser breaking down his particles.He saw the trainer struggle to pull out a device from his pants,talking in ragged burst to it.Then he saw blackness as he fainted.
Ooh,Delicious cliffhanger! I'm amazed with myself for this piece.Better than anything I've written...err, typed.Find out what happens next chapter!Which will be released when I get up to the task. Writing of this caliber Is quite the task for me.I proofread it,then again,alert me of careless mistakes via,the comments and they will be handled accordingly.Thanks For Reading!I'm nervous for results...
