Just a short one tonight. I didn't really have time to get down and dirty to write a proper short story.

It was a cold and rainy night when he padded into the Bleeding Heart bar. His grayish fur was soaked and matted down looking disheveled and not all the great looking. He took a towel that was offered to him by the hostess and quickly dried himself, brushing his fur down so it didn't poof up like usual. After thanking the hostess, he walks over to the bar and orders a bloody sally and a plate of turkey sausage. While waiting for his food he sips his drink slowly surveying the bar with his brown eyes. Looking over at the other side of the bar he spies a male dragon and fox having a chat. There were a few dancers on the floor but they weren't really interested him.

He turns his eyes back to the dragon and fox, noticing that the fox was leaving and was not in a good mood. The dragon looked familiar to him, so after the fox left, he decided to pad over and sit closer to the dragon. The dragon looked to be a good 7' tall to the wolf's 6', but undaunted the wolf moves closer. When he was about two seats over from the dragon, he grabs up a chair and waves down the bar tender who had his food. The waiter sees him and pads over giving him his food and taking the money the wolf owed him. After a couple of bites he looks over to the dragon who seemed completely uninterested in having a chat with anyone. The wolf shrugs and goes back to eating his sausages. While he takes a bite and is chewing, the dragon finally speaks.

Any reason why you decided that you had to next to me?

The wolf, not wanted to be rude swallows his food before speaking. I saw you and that fox having a discussion that didn't seem to end well, so I thought you might need some company. Apparently you don't, so I'll just grab my food and leave. He begins to grab his food and move, but felt a the dragon touch his arm.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be rude, just my business partner decided to force me to pay all of this years debts out of my own pocket. Told me that I don't pull my weight around the business. He sighs and downs another shot of vodka.

The wolf unsure of what to say, just looked down at the remaining link of sausage that was still untouched. He decides to be nice to the dragon and gives his remaining sausage the dragon. The dragon seeing the food, looks at the wolf quizzically.

What's this? He asks, a little offened.

Its turkey, it's actually really good. Give it a try. The wolf replies pointing at the sausage.

The dragon looked at him squinting as if saying. Who dafuq you think I am?

The wolf shrugs and moves to take back the plate but the dragon grabs it and gobbles it down. His eyes open in shock at how tasty it was.

The hell is this?! He asks.

It's turkey. The wolf replies victoriously. Good isn't it?

Yeah it is! Hey waiter another order of turkey sausage! The dragon orders

The wolf chuckles and goes back to his drink. He drinks a little more before getting up and leaving a tip.

I'm taking off. Good luck with your business partner. He tells the dragon.

The dragon, his mouth full of turkey, tried to speak but it the wolf couldn't hear it clearly. The wolf just smiled and waves good bye, padding towards the exit and drives home.
