Gatherings - Part One

Bright beams of moonlight shot through the densely packed leaves that sat in the canopies far above. The giant trees were motionless, too thick to sway even slightly in the wind, had there been any, but all was tranquil in the eerie quiet of the twilight Moonglade. The faint, white-blue light reflected calmingly off of the surface of the peaceful lake, the waters calm as ever as they gave a picture perfect, mirror like reflection of the worgen's face as he stared into the deep blue. The feminine worgen tilted his head, looking curiously at his face while bringing a hand up to readjust his hair, knowing how much he wanted to look his best. Content with his looks, he let a hind paw dip into the water, causing ripples to distort the reflected light while giving motion to the almost lifeless glade. The water was cool around his paw, but also warm at the same time, a magical blend of the best sensations weaving throughout his toes. It was much like this in the glade itself, being located on the north end of Kalimdor and receiving almost no sunlight, one would assume the Moonglade would be chilly if not cold, yet it was calmingly warm, like the feeling of cuddling with a lover on a chilly night. The worgen sighed as he thought of this, knowing his pseudo-boyfriend would be back on the other side of the world, probably missing him as well, despite his nonchalance for admitting his sexuality.

Samain withdrew his paw from the water, giggling to himself as he thought of how fun it was to embarrass Elliot by flirting openly with the 'straight' worgen. Sighing once again, he looked around to examine the tranquil glade. He was here because he had been sent on a diplomatic mission to attend a meeting held by the Cenarion Circle, the primary group of druids, and members from all races were attending. He'd already met the rather imposing Rhurn, a mighty tauren druid who was known for his exceptional use of feral forms, but even the lesser known races were attending. It was for one of these that Sam was waiting for. A wolvar druid by the name of Suel was supposed to be attending the meeting, and like Sam and Rhurn, was posing as more of a retinue for the main representative from each respective race. They'd been told by their leaders to go and mingle with each other to learn what they could while the main meeting commenced, and Suel and Samain knew each other from a previous meeting, not unlike the current one. So here he stood, patiently awaiting the arrival of his brown furred wolvar friend.

Hurrying through the trees, the distinct form of a quadruped animal darted against the glimmering beams of moonlight, jumping over fallen branches and rocks with elegance and grace, the agile figure effortlessly making its way towards the lake. It wasn't long before he noticed the sight of wooden buildings against the mountainous background that he realised that the majority of the woods were behind him, and that he was close to his destination. Viewing the shimmering lake to his left, he also spotted his target: the lone worgen standing idly by the shore. He stopped for a second, examining the physical appearance of the still oblivious worgen, taking in the details of his feminine form and hair, and more so, noticing that he was wearing a simple white linen shirt with black leather vest, complemented with short leather trousers that stopped a fair distance before it reached his uncovered hind paws. Knowing the style of Samain, this was certainly odd. Smirking, he let out a bestial roar, causing the worgen to jump in fear at the sight of the beast staring at him. Samain was always fun to tease. Smiling again, he paced forward towards the worgen, channelling his druidic energies within him, feeling the shifting and melding of his body as it returned to its base form, his leather armour, remoulding from what was just his hide, forming into a sleek vest and pants. He noticed the worgen blush as he transformed, embarrassed that he'd been so scared by what was easily recognisable as his friend Suel. The wolvar smiled toothily as he approached Samain, wrapping his arms around the worgen in a way of greeting. As he withdrew, he noticed the bashful blush underneath Sam's check fur, and he was quite content with getting it as a result. It was a guilty pleasure, but he truly did enjoy seeing the worgen squirm.

"And here I was thinking you were expecting me!" The wolvar said, patting his friend on the back.

"I-I was, actually. I just, you know, didn't expect a ferocious beast to come out of the woods after no doubt stalking me for some time, eh?"

Suel laughed, enjoying the hinted accusation. It was true, while he had come to the lake as fast as he could, his primal side couldn't resist stalking the worgen from the woods, for more reasons than one. But it was mostly the thrill, the excitement he got, from prowling in the woods, unnoticed like a phantom, a shadow from the corner of the eye. The practice was no downside either!

"You know me too well. We underlings are too primitive to be trusted with anything above caving into our primal sides, hence why they get us to stick together and keep us out of the meetings, or at least, the big ones."

He must have said something, for he noticed a shimmer of excitement in the worgen's eyes, not exactly what to expect. A smile now came to Sam's lips as he eagerly clapped his paws together once.

"That reminds me! We've got our own little gathering happening tonight, out by the platform overlooking the lake." Samain looked behind him, pointing to the wooden platform that hung over the lake, supported by sturdy pillars.

Suel followed his finger, admiring the warming glimmer of lights coming from the buildings beyond, in the centre of Nighthaven, the only town in Moonglade. It was were the elders and other respectable druids would be holding their meeting, and after having abandoned their followers, it only made a fair sense that the people like Samain and Suel himself could host their own gathering. Something darkened in Sam's eyes, causing Suel's senses to detect that someone was behind him. Quickly, he turned his head to meet the newcomer while taking a graceful step to the side, twisting his body onto a perpendicular line to where he had just been, able to view both the worgen and the new presence.

It certainly wasn't a subtle presence either. His previous spot was soon filled with a hulking tauren, black fur still as the night while his braided mane danced softly in accordance with his motions. Suel did not recognise him, but it was clear that Sam did.

"Ah, Rhurn! How are you?" The worgen said, cheerfully looking up at the bull.

"Heh, I'll get to you later, darling. Who's this?" The tauren winked at Sam before glaring curiously at Suel, making him shift, slightly uncomfortable with the tauren's demeanour. Sam was blushing again, but he answered for Suel nonetheless.

"Oh, this is my friend Suel! He's a wolvar, which is really amazing! It's so great to see the diversity a meeting like this brings together. Just like you and me, Rhurn!"

"Good! I would love to stay and get to know each other more, Suel of the Wolvar, but I must be going. I was only stopping by on my way to Nighthaven. I trust you are both going to the gathering later? Excellent! I'll come and collect both of you from Sam's hut once it is time to go."

The tauren proudly strode off, not caring for any input by either Sam or Suel, confident that the two would obey his orders. Suel was about to turn his attention back to his worgen friend when the black furred tauren turned back to look at them.

"It's a formal gathering, as well! I want you both to be in your best dress!"

Without another word, the bull hurried off up towards Nighthaven, leaving the two alone again.

"Ahah! My favourite part! Com'mon Suel, we'll need a bit of time to prepare."

Suel gazed curiously at the worgen. He hadn't brought any fancy clothes along with him. Maybe he missed that part in the invitation?

"Sam, I haven't any good clothes to wear. I only have the standard leathers."

Samain lifted an eyebrow before giving Suel a wink accompanied by a devious smile.

"I trusted you wouldn't, and that's why I made sure I brought a few extra pairs of good clothes! Now then, let's get to my hut and get ourselves ready!"

The two had enjoyed a quick bathe in the lake together, getting themselves clean of the small build-up of dirt that was inevitable when lounging around anywhere. Though to Suel, bathe would hardly count as the right word. It was a quick dip into the lake, to the point where Sam hadn't even taken half his clothes off before getting in, and almost as soon as they were in Sam had ordered him out. Sam pinned it on them only requiring a quick freshen up, and that they could dry themselves down back at his hut, so both worgen and wolvar hurriedly ran through the backstreets of Nighthaven, half naked and dripping wet. Suel worried that his superior might see him and the bulge that was quite pronounced through his soaked underwear, but they arrived at Sam's modest hut in seemingly no time.

After stripping and drying themselves down, Suel found himself wishing that he and Sam were dressed as fast as possible. It wasn't for his sake, as he was quite happy with 'himself', but seeing the naked worgen prance about the house, his rear completely exposed, he made himself remember what his superior had made mention of earlier in the day: druids such as him are prone to caving to their primal urges.

"Hey Samain, do you mind if we get dressed now?"

The worgen was fiddling with his hair in an ornate mirror, his rump pleasantly pronounced for viewing to Suel.

"Oh, of course! I almost forgot why I was so excited in the first place. I'm sure we're dry enough now. And I think we'll need some new underwear first! Let me go fetch us some."

Samain hurried off into a back room, and Suel sighed triumphantly, knowing he'd beaten his devious mind by resisting the urge to pin the worgen to the wall. Formal dress wasn't as comfortable as leather, but it looked good, and allowed himself a bit more modesty, especially when he would be mingling with various people on a diplomatic endeavor. Hearing the footsteps of Sam as he came back into the main room, Suel dropped his head to admire his 'body' one last time.

"Here we are! And as a bonus, I'll let you choose which one to wear!"

Suel smiled, looking up to see the worgen holding both his hands up, carrying a pair of underwear in each hand. But this was different. Looking closer, Suel's heart sank as he recognised that Sam was holding up two pairs of lacy black panties, each with a different trim. He saw the tiny bows on the crotch, the delicate patterns of fabric, and more importantly, the different colour trims that each pair of the black panties possessed. The worgen was smiling girlishly at Suel, eager to get dressed.

"So what'll it be? Lustful red , or slutty pink?"

To be continued!
