Teaser to my possible First Story
Okay, Let me tell you what I can remember up to when I woke up. I was born in New York City, March, 5th 2032, the age now know as "The Beginning of the End". Twelve years before my creation a man name Arthur King discovered a way to artificially grow humans. I was the first human grow in a lab. I was an experiment that would end the unneeded deaths of humans. The government wanted to grow soldiers to use in any upcoming wars.
Little did they and the scientists that grew me, know I wasn't fully human. My DNA was different, unique to a normal human. I was born with the ability to control electrical currents. The scientists could see the unusual DNA strands and abnormal advancements to my brain. As I grew up there came the experiments, and frequent tests. They discovered my biological structure was uniquely built to withstand electrical charges and my brain could generate mass amounts of voltage. I could see electricity and will it to flow outside of the laws of physics.
As time went by humans made more amazing discovers, by 2033 humans discovered messages from outer space. It took a few years for the humans to discover their meaning and by 2035 they discovered the message was informing them that there plant was now classified as a level 6 and by intergalactic law they were now open for other planets to declare war.
The intergalactic law stated when a plant gains the means to create everlasting power they became a level 5 planet. Which allows for trading between planets and intergalactic relationships, but when a planet gains the means to defend a planet from "aliens" or attack planets they become level 6. Earth did not fully understand how they became level 5 until they reviewed the past projects and found me. I was able to create mass amounts of electricity, which earth ran completely off of. As for defenses several military groups and been weaponizing lab grown humans discovering ways to make them grow faster. Some military groups had invented focused, operating, repulsive, compression, emitters, or "FORCE Fields" and from that defenses came and a few ideas later weapons were created using the same tech to make resilient bullets with an explosive impact.
Opening Earth up to conflicts they were not mentally ready for. In 2037 I was only five years old and the human race was in a war with an alien race known as Beasts. A animal like race resembling humans imaginative anthros or furries except they're real and they're looking for a more suitable home. The Earth was ready we had created new defenses and better weapons the only problem was the power. They had no problem with it until they created the "FORCE Fields" and one technological error was the power consumption.
The Earth was barreling towards a power crises and I was there only solution. At first I did it of my free will, but it wasn't good enough. They created a machine to harness my electricity through pain. It was proven that when I produced adrenaline I created more voltage. I was six when I was put into the machine. The last thing I saw was the War General and his last words were. "You're our only hope, We will come out of this on top and you'll be our hero." He was wrong. Twenty years later, my journey for answers begins.
