purity and hope decide on a plan
#7 of survival
chapter 3
"so purity about the plan" says hope.
"well us 2 can run ahead and get the poachers to follow us and the pack ,including the war runners,
can follow them and when we get into the hunting grounds, we turn round on the poachers and attack
and the pack & war runners can attack from behind" I say in reply.
"okay but what about your mum,sisters and my mum & sisters" hope says.
"they can protect the territory" I say back to hope and we agree and then we go
to patrol the edge of the territory together and that is when we see her. she is lying next to the body of one of the
elk and she is eating it. she lifts her head and sniffs the air, good job we are down wind from her but she turns and
sees us and she smiles. she is tris. one of my best friends before I was trained to be an alpha ready for taking over the
pack. "how are you tris" I ask, "fine, what about you" tris asks. " fine thx for asking ". "tris have you got a pack to look after
you or not ?" me and hope ask in unison. " no my pack are gone, killed off by the poachers, I'm the only survivor" tris replies
sadly as tears weld up in her eyes. "one moment, let me talk with hope a moment to see if we can help you" I say as calmly as
I can. "ok plz help me if you can" tris says calming down. for a few minutes me and hope talk about what we should do with her
and we decide that one of us will carry on patrolling and the other will escort tris back to the pack in the living den ready for the pack
meeting soon. "hope r u going to finish the patrol and i'll take back and prepare for the meeting that will now decide her fate whether
she stays or gets sent to her doom.
8hrs later the meeting ends and it was decided that she would join my pack we are known as the nobles.
