*Alright as I promised, here is the story that MaverickKayPrime wrote for me. You should read his works on fanfiction.net. *

When did all this happen? When she was caught? Did he always have these feelings toward her? As she looked at him inside the mirror she was pressed up against, she wondered. Did that face of lust exist before these things happened? When she were younger, she couldn't remember a time he looked like this. She couldn't remember a time when he craved her.

Humans and Pokémon aren't supposed to have such a relationship. She had come to know this as the years went on. So she was overjoyed when her Trainer, the person who trained her for such a long time, admitted his love for her. She thought she hit the jackpot. She didn't know love was like this.

He was always wild, but he kept his appearances clean. He was always smiling, ushering on his Pokémon from the sidelines, but when he got serious, he was serious. Maybe that's what she loved about him. His maturity. When he wanted to be fun, he was so very fun. But when the time called, and things were serious, he was just as serious, if not more so.

She thought she knew everything about him. Yeah, thought. She had been with him for so long, she never thought he could surprise her. Not like this.

"Luc!" the Aura Pokémon grunted in slight pain. He ignored it.

At first, things like this happened rarely. So very rarely. And the first time they did this, it was genuinely sincere. She felt so much love for him, because they were passing that ultimate threshold of love. When they first made love, it was perfect. Beautiful even. And so was the second time, and the third time. When they were with each other, she saw the world in him.

But she had long since forgotten the time in which things became bad. When they became wrong. Oh so very wrong. But, if she were to say so herself, she'd say the sixth time. He had started to crave her around the sixth time. Yeah. Crave. No longer was it because he wanted to show love to her, but because he lusted for her. By that point in time, she might as well had become a doll. Just a doll for his pleasure.

"Cariiii..." she whispered as his hands slid against her chest. Her hands were still on the mirror though, keeping her still.

It just hurt! It hurt so much now! The fun, the pleasure, the love, it vanished so long ago. At that sixth time. She thought he still loved her that time, but she learned what's true as time went on. It was in a Pokémon Center for Pete's sake! He took her that time in a Pokémon Center! She needed to keep her voice down, or else Nurse Joy or some other Pokémon Trainer would hear her. And she listened, listened like the good little Pokémon she was. She kept her voice down.

"Lucario! Lucario!" she groaned over and over again. She couldn't keep her voice down now, no longer.

At least they weren't in a Pokémon Center this time. At the very least, they were in a hotel. A nice one at that. That's why she had this full body mirror to keep herself pushed up against. But why did he force her up against it? Did he want her to see him violate her this way? Was it not good enough that he was doing it in the first place?

She could see his jet black hair in his reflection. Those brown eyes. His grip on her waist increased, as he started to ram her against him. Over again over again. With each pump, she felt her own hands increasing the hold they had on the mirror's edge. He slid into her as powerful and as forcefully as he damn well pleased. He didn't care about how she panted, how she howled occasionally. He just wanted to her to be a little quiet. After all; he had no idea how thin the walls were in this hotel. He didn't want some eavesdropper to hear what they were doing.

His fingers slicked along side her hips and stretched butt, leaving her body. His erect cock slid out of her dripping cunt soon after, the feeling of it making her weak in the knees. She fell on the ground in a exhausted mess, trying her hardest to regain energy. Her red eyes stared up to the mirror. What she was, a Lucario. But that's not what she felt like. Lucario's are strong, proud, revered Pokémon. She wasn't strong or proud or revered. She was weak, submissive; nothing more than his slave.

"Alice..." he called, "Alice... come here..."

She stared up to her Pokémon Trainer. He sat on the couches edge, naked from head to toe, his penis still rock hard. She wanted to have no business with it, but his finger beckoned her near. She got on her hands a knees and crawled over to him, already knowing full well what he wanted. She placed one hand on his leg, and used the other to grip his member. Eyes closing, mouth opened, she carefully slid his cock into her mouth. The Aura Pokémon knew how sharp her teeth could be; it wasn't wise to anger him.

Her hand gripped tightly on the base of his cock, while she sucked on the upper-half. He groaned gently into her mouth, while her head bobbed up and down. A few years rolled down her cheeks as she did this, but he didn't notice. Instead, his hand met her scalp, as he gripped her tightly. He forced his Lucario further down on his member, making her eyes grow wide from surprise. His long cock stretched deep into her mouth, deeper than she expected. So deep, it rammed into her throat and made her gag.

She wanted so desperately to pull herself free of him. To breathe again. But he wouldn't let her. He held her down as she tried to pull back. Until that moment of sweet 'bliss'. Well, bliss for him. For her, she felt like nothing more than his bitch. No, that's horrible way to call it. His doll. That's just how she felt. Truly.

"Alice..." he groaned, "Ah... Alice!"

She resolved herself to this situation, but not for long. A powerful warmth spurted into Alice's mouth, making her pull back. He no longer held onto her, allowing the Lucario to free herself. He wasn't finished in his orgasm though. He continued to cum, now not in her mouth, but instead on her face. It was something she realized he was doing more and more over their moments. He did this the last time and the time before that, so why should this be any different?

Alice sat on her knees, her hand on the ground, while he took a few deep breathes. His cock became flaccid now, thankfully putting an end to this night of torture. And he had the audacity to smile, and so blissfully as well. How could he, a Pokémon Trainer, smile, when his Pokémon was suffering. Simple; he was the one causing said suffering.

Alice slid her hands across her face, cleaning the cum that stained her. Upon doing so, she stared down to her hands. His seed was sticking to her now, and stretched between the three fingers on each hand. Looking up to him, he could only see his legs, for he was now laying on the bed. She took this chance to clean her hands by wiping them on the floor.

Still on her legs and knees, Alice climbed to the bed. She used it to stand up tall, and gazed down upon him shortly after. He laid on the bed, further beckoning to his Lucario with his hand. She was weary of first, obviously enough, but soon enough bent to his will. There wasn't much he could do to her; his cock had already grown soft.

She laid in the bed near him, while he shuffled the covers atop them. His hand met the side of her face gently, while she gazed away. Meeting his brown eyes was something she found difficult as days went on. Still, his gentle hand upon her face was something she really did love. It was one of the few times she felt like he was normal.

"Thanks Alice..." he whispered.

Why did he do this? Why did he constantly hurt her in such a horrible way, and then turn around and make her feel better? Was he just that good at talking, or was she just that weak? Was she so weak that it took only a few smooth words to get her to fold?

'Oh thank you Alice', and she would fall in line like a row of dominoes. Why did he have such power over her? Easy; he was her Pokémon Trainer. It was her job as a good and faithful Pokémon to listen to her Trainer. Even when it hurt her so very much, and it hurt her. So. Very. Much.

Alice gazed up to him. His eyes closed, mouth open, body resting. He was asleep. This happened all the time after they did this. After he raped her. He would say 'thanks', and then promptly go to sleep. Leaving Alice to wonder, and wonder was all she could do.

That night, Alice stared up toward the ceiling of the room in complete darkness. There was something eating away at her, something that had been growing for years now. She used to make up excuses for his antics when it came to raping her. Yeah, it was rape; she didn't want to do it many of the times he did. But she used to defend him in her own mine. She used to say 'oh, he's just young, he'll grow out of it', but that time never came. Whether he be a teenager like when they first started, or he be a man as he is now, she still felt used. He only used her for his own pleasure. Hell, he doesn't even use her as much in real Pokémon battles anymore.

But that's not what ate away at Alice. She had come to those conclusions eons ago. No, what had her mind so turbulent this night was what her trainer didn't do. Every time, every time, they did this. Every time they 'made love', or 'mated', or whatever the hell you wanna call it, he would kiss her. Every time. He would kiss her; his tongue on her tongue, making her moan from it all. She loved his kisses. And he always gave them to her. Always. But not this night; he did not kiss her once.

And that completely devastated Alice. Why didn't he kiss her? What was different this night compared to the other nights that caused this? Was she not deserving of a kiss? Alice loved making up excuses for him, but she just couldn't this time. There was just something in his kisses that always kept her to stay.

But right now, she wasn't thinking rationally. She was just moving, because that's what she's supposed to do. She got up from the bed, but not in a quick movement that disturbed the individual within. Instead, Alice was as silent and as graceful as a Greninja in her efforts to free herself. She stood outside of the bed, standing near her trainer in complete darkness. As she did so, her mind finally started to think.

Get the hell back into the bed! Her mind told her.

She stepped forward, about to actually do so. But then, she pulled back. Alice sat on a chair within the hotel room, her red eyes on her Trainer's body. He was going to be sleeping for a good while, which gave her ample time to think. And right now, her thoughts danced around one subject. Escape; she wanted to escape. She begged for an escape. At nights, she would dream about an escape from this horrible horrible life. But it wasn't until now that she was able to work up the courage to do so. Why?

Because he didn't kiss her.

Alice walked toward the hotel's balcony doors. Hand on the switch, she turned it and pulled the glass doors open slowly. Her trainer stirred, and she shook with terror. Turning around, she could see he only turned around and faced where she should have been. In the green, Alice continued through the door, and closed it right behind her.

The wind brushing against her felt so wonderful. Alice walked to the balcony's edge and placed her fingers upon it, as the wind continue to blow into her face. It was a nice change from the hot and sweaty hotel room she shared with her trainer. The wonderful outdoors, even if she was a story or two above a sprawling city metropolis.

Jubilife City, of the Sinnoh Region. Rubbing her eyes, Alice wondered if she was actually seeing this. The city came to life at night; it were as if multicolored stars existed on the earth. She didn't think she'd ever seen this before. Or ever, for that matter.

Now; how the hell was she supposed to get down there? She was up on floor five in this massive hotel, gazing down to the earth. Alice knew if she jumped, she would die. She's no Blaziken, after all. Stuck up here, she began to wonder if her escape was suddenly cut short. Alice gazed up and down, searching in vain for an escape of any kind. She settled her eyes on a series of balconies below.

Alice climbed on the balcony's railing, staring over in distress. Her heart rate spiked drastically, as adrenaline flowed within her bloodstream. One misstep was all it took to plummet her to an early doom. But you know what? Fuck it; she was going to risk a grave. It was worth it just to get away from him. Besides, she's no Lucario for nothing. She was trained greatly.

But the less she thought about her trainer, the better. Alice turned around and held onto the railing with her hands. Then she let go. Falling was exhilarating, and it terrified her. But she was able to grab onto the railing of the next balcony she passed. Repeating her actions, Alice fell to floor three, and then to floor two. But when she tried to fall to floor one, her grip slipped. Ya'see, the railing of the floor one balcony was oddly wet, and thus slippery. So she slipped. And fell.

It wasn't a particularly long fall, but damn was it a painful one. Landing into the pavement, falling directly on her arm. Immediately, Alice heard a snapping noise, and realized the worse. She laid on the ground for a few moments, her red eyes staring to the skies. It took her some time to work up the courage to move. And once she did, Alice felt a powerful pain course up her right arm.

The Lucario stood up on her feet, the pain continuing to wail. Gazing to her arm, she found it to be hanging loosely from her socket. That ain't good. Once more, the thought of returning to her trainer came to mind. But there was no way in hell she was going to do so. To return to him would only make her punishment worse. He would be relentless with her betrayal, and rightfully so. She was his Pokémon, and now she was running away? Yeah, that's a betrayal in the worse sense of the word.

But now, Alice didn't care. For, you see, she was on her own. Though she had no idea where in the world she was, which is pretty bad. Fear did find her again, fear of the unknown. But instead of running back to her trainer, she decided to face this fear. After all, how worse could things get? Truly, things were bound to become better, right? After all those years of her master's lusty actions, she was free to do whatever she wanted. She just needed to know what it was she wanted to do.

Alice grabbed her arm in an attempt to soothe the pain. At the same time, she walked toward the alley's exit. But there was one problem; she was a Pokémon, and there were humans all around. They'd know she escaped from her trainer, and would bring her back. Instead of continuing on like a dumbass, Alice grabbed an old dirty rag from the ground. Wrapping it around her body like a cloak and hood, the Aura Pokémon decided it was best to stick to the city's alleys before making it too the woods. Then she could discard the hood, and live her new life.

Yeah. Her new life.

...

His eyes opened. The morning sun was gazing through his blinded window, landing gently upon his face. Reaching up from the bed, he rubbed his face to clear out the morning wooziness that had taken him. Finally, after a few moments of suffering, he found the strength to pull his body up from the bed. The action filled his body with that lively morning vigor; he was ready to get up and take the day!

He stood up from his bed in nothing but his boxers and t-shirt, but there was no shame in his game! Walking through his darkly lit bedroom though, he failed to remember how messy he could be sometimes. And, as such, his foot met some long sense discarded toy car, which caused him to trip up. He met the rug of his bedroom, and groaned in silence, before looking up. His floor was basically littered with the various toys and other nonsense he had amassed over the years. Thank Arceus this was just his bedroom, and not every room in his home.

Sawyer Pryce. His blue eyes cut through the dark room toward the resting blue and white Pokémon that lay on his drawer. Walking over to it, he slid his fingers down the spine of the resting Pokémon, quickly jolting it from its own rest.

"Wake up, Pachirisu," he said, "It's time we move..."

"Pachuuuuuuu..." the EleSquirrel groaned as she opened her bloodshot eyes.

She stared up to the man before her, who further beckoned to her with his hand. Groaning from the annoyance of being woken up, the EleSquirrel caused a few sparks to erupt from her body. Sawyer was obviously used to this however, for the shock didn't bother him that much. He instead scoffed then picked the Pachirisu up by her tail.

"Not now," he said with a sigh, "C'mon, let's get ready for the day..."

"Pachuuuu..." she continued to groan.

Sawyer walked into his bedroom-bathroom, flicking the light on. While his Pachirisu climbed upon his shoulder, he stared into his very own reflection within the mirror. Because of it, he smiled.

"Look at that fine man right there," he said to the brown-haired, blue-eyed reflection, "I feel like I just got outta home! Granted... that was, oh, what? Eight years ago? You remember that, Pachirisu?"

"Paaaaaaach..." she replied, still annoyed by the fact that he woke her up so early.

"Oh you kid too much!" Sawyer laughed.

It didn't take him long to get ready and dressed. He walked through his townhouse with a skip in his step and a whistle through his lips. His Pachirisu sat on his shoulder, just as awake and shiny as he was. She was even able to get rid of that morning combustion that affected everyone's mind. Sawyer's day was just starting, even as he stood fresh and clean in his living room. Only problem...

"We don't have anything to eat for breakfast, Pachirisu..." he groaned, "Ah... crap... guess that means we'll be going out for breakfast this morning... how does that sound?"

"Pachu, pachu!" the EleSquirrel said cheerfully as she hopped up and down on his shoulder.

"Of course you'd be happy," he said as he walked toward his townhouse's exit, "You just love wasting my hard earned cash, don't you?"

The Pachirisu on his shoulder laughed at his words, while he shook them off. Exiting his home, Sawyer gazed to the city that sat all around him. Jubilife is always a beautiful place, really it is. Sure, it isn't the place for those who aren't used to the city life, but he simply adores it. Though that winter air was beginning to settle in. Meteorologist talks about snow either today or tomorrow, which will only build upon the snow from last Monday.

Sawyer gently wrapped his scarf around his neck, before taking to the city's sidewalks. Since it was so early, there was a lack of people roaming the streets with him. Well, save for one. A cloak brushed against his body, and quite roughly too.

"Hey!" Sawyer said in surprise, while he turned around.

The cloaked being walked a few steps away, before stopping. He heard wincing echo from beneath the cowl, before whoever that was continued walking. Sawyer thought nothing of it at first. Until he caught sight of a blue tail sticking from under the cloak's shroud. Sawyer, once more, thought nothing of it. Until it hit him, of course.

Humans don't have tails.

He turned around, where the mysterious figured continued walking away from him. Looking down, he tried to see that tail again, just to confirm he saw it in the first place. The tail, if it was there, was stealthy hidden within the brown clothe, making it near impossible to see. So Sawyer really had to pay attention.

And he saw it again. Gust blew in his direction, making the cloak flutter just weakly. He could see that blue tail, and more. The black, skinny legs of an inhuman being could be seen. A Pokémon, in fact. One who roamed on dog-like feet, and stood only on its very toes.

Sawyer wasn't the smartest man, but he's no fool. He could tell a Pokémon when he saw one, especially this Pokémon. Blue tail, long black legs; that Pokémon was a Lucario. A Lucario, roaming along the road, by itself? Did it make way down from Stark Mountain? And what of that wince from earlier; was it hurt? Sawyer needed to know.

He began following this cloaked Lucario, but wisely kept a good distance. If it was hurt, he didn't want to agitate and be attacked. His Pachirisu wasn't the kind of Pokémon who knew her moves, meaning there would be nothing protecting that wild Aura Pokémon from cleaving them in half. Still, if it was hurt, he couldn't just stand idly by, could he?

Why was he following her? Alice's eyes seemed to glow from beneath her cloak, as she realized the human was trailing her. The Lucario couldn't help but to blame it on their brush against one another. Had that not happened, she wouldn't have winced, and he wouldn't be following her. But now it didn't seem to matter; he was following her. Alice prayed he was just heading the same way, and soon their paths would change. But that never happened.

"Carrrr...!" she groaned within her cloak.

Her arm was practically howling from the pain. How long had she been roaming these streets? It seemed like only hours ago the sun started to rise. She ran the entire night through Jubilife, and got practically nowhere. How much further did she have to run before she could escape this city!

And damn her arm! It spiked again! She was tired, injured, and now being followed; could things get any worse? Probably, though she didn't want to think about. She just wanted to--

What the hell!?

"Hey, hey, hey," Sawyer said gently, as he tried to stop the Aura Pokémon by way of hand gestures, "I'm not trying to hurt you or anything. Just... uh... calm down..."

Alice didn't know how the human did it, but he was now standing in front of her. Did he teleport, or was she just that deep in thought? Whatever the case may be, she was now standing face to face with that human.

"H-hey, you okay?" he asked, "Are you wild or... do you have a trainer? If so, where is he or she?" his hands started moving forward, "My name's Sawyer and I heard you wince in pain. Are you hurt? If so, I can bring you to a Pokémon Center."

Maybe he was being a bit too lax. After all, this could be a wild and injured Pokémon; a dangerous combination. If it sprang into action, he could be hurt. But if it was hurt, there was no telling what could happen. So Sawyer did his to not move erratically. He was slow and methodical in his movements, even as his hands met the Lucario's hood. Gripping it, Sawyer pulled it down.

Red eyes stared back. Burning red eyes, like rubies. They peered into Sawyer's blue eyes, and he gazed back. Unmoving, he found his gaze traveling up and down her. Since she retained this 'Dearling caught in headlights look', Sawyer gently eased the cloak from her body. His thoughts were confirmed; the Lucario's right arm was broken. He could tell; he's broken that arm before.

"Oh... oh!" he said in shock, "Just follow me, I'm going to lead you to a Pokémon Center... promise..."

Promise? Did he say 'promise'? Alice just heard the word 'promise' leave his lips. How could he promise her anything? He didn't even know her! He couldn't promise someone he's never met anything! When did the word 'promise' become such a trigger for her?

"Luuuuuu.... caaaaaarrrr..." Alice began to growl, which made Sawyer grow wide eyed.

"Oh... crap..." he bemoaned in terror.

"IIIIIOOOOOOO!" she roared, her left hand releasing a blue sphere right in Sawyer's face.

He and his Pachirisu was thrown away by the blast, landing in a public mailbox. He tried to move, but it was really hard thanks to that clicking in his spine. There's no way that could be good. At the same time, Alice stared down to her hands in awe. She didn't mean to unleash such a powerful blast but dammit, he deserved it! He had no right to 'promise' her anything! And because of that attack, her right arm was agitated!

Alice's disguise was ruined; she knew that now. Pulling the cloak off of her body, the Lucario figured it was best to just make a mad dash out of the city. The hood would only hold her back. With one powerful bound, Alice leaped over Sawyer and ran. The few people who were awake this morning were knocked away thanks to her fast movements.

Sawyer and his Pachirisu, while injured, were strong enough to gaze toward the fleeing Aura Pokémon. She just ran off before vanishing, right before his eyes. Somehow, Sawyer was able to muster enough strength to stand, while his mind just ran with thoughts of the Lucario.

He didn't know why but he knew she needed help. His help.

"Okay... well... haven't been attacked by a Pokémon in a while, huh Pachirisu?"

"Pachu-chu..." the EleSquirrel replied in pain.

"Yeah... let's... let's move..."

...

With this perfect zen state, she was able to think. There was no sound that permeated her ears, no feeling that bothered her. Sure, the rushing water was cold as the ninth circle of Hell, but it wasn't something she couldn't deal with. Besides, she liked the cold water. It was that same cold water that helped her come to terms with her decisions. All of her decisions.

She left her training. Can you believe that? A Lucario with the boldness to leave her trainer. That's so unbelievable. There are many Pokémon one does not suspect of desertion. Lucarios are at the top of that list. But here she is, in the wild, a waterfall rushing down on her. Yeah, her mind was allowed to flow freely now.

And she started to drift back to thoughts about him. A day years ago, that felt like centuries. He must have been only thirteen maybe fourteen. And she hadn't evolved yet. Those were the good old days. The time of growth before evolution. She used to think about evolution like an honor. But now, she saw it more like a curse.

Alice's eyes opened, just to gaze upon the snow laden forest around her. She would need to find a place of rest over the coming time, or else. Only, a part of her really didn't care. This aching side that seemed to occur right at the nape of her neck. It bit at her, like a Zubat. She didn't know what to do about it.

She stared upon the land before her, seeing various Pokémon scurry abut the woods. Alice's eyes began to glow, as if to pick apart the Pokémon. But not in the usual way, no, she stared upon their essence. The aura that all living beings emitted was brought out by her eyes. She could see all of them, and yet they all appeared the same.

Every being. Everyone. They were all malicious. All of them. Not one had a kind or nice Aura; they were all violent and disturbed. But this was impossible. Alice recognized this aura, even though she knew she shouldn't. The Pokémon, the animal in these woods, they all shared the same aura as her Trainer. Which shouldn't be the case. Everyone's aura is different; none are the same. It's like a soul. How could this be? How could each and every one of these creatures share the exact same aura as her trainer? It's impossible!

Alice. Alice needed to meditate on this. Her eyes closed again, while that cold water helped her reach her zen state again. She thought long and hard on the situation that presented itself to her; the situation that was her life.

"One day... you'll evolve!" a voice echoed into her ears.

Alice's eyes shot open. No longer was she under the waterfall, no longer was there snow all around. It was the spring time; plants were blossoming, Pokémon were roaming freely, the sun was up high, and the heat was steady and wondrous. She wasn't alone in these here woods.

A Riolu appeared within some shrubbery. Eyes wide, smile on her lips. She gazed left and right, before hopping over the bushes with a powerful bound. Running into the center meadow, the young Emanation Pokémon was just a giggling mess. Jumping over the bush in chase was a young boy as well. He must have been 13 maybe 14. His jet black hair was scruffy and messy, covering his eyes. Still, he was a cute young lad, if not slightly frail.

"Alice! Slow down!" he said with a laugh, before tumbling over his own toes.

Staring up again, the Pokémon Trainer's eyes fell upon his Riolu, who smiled as she stared upon her. He rolled onto his back, while she walked over to sit upon his chest. 44 .lbs yes, but not all that heavy. She sat on him constantly, so he was used to the added wait. His hand traveled down Alice's head coming to her nose, before he laughed it off.

"Alice... when you evolve... you're going to be amazing," he said with a laugh, "No one will be able to stop us then! No one!"

"Riolu!" she howled enthusiastically.

"You make my day, Alice," he said as he grabbed her before standing up, "Really, you do..."

He kissed her on the forehead; she cuddled from the notion. The gentle and loving touch; she thought nothing of it. But now, knowing what she knew was going to happen, was that a sign of the future. Was he always planning this to happen? Was he always planning to do what he did to her when she evolved. That couldn't be; he never gave any messages about it before. Not until now.

She forced the memory out of her head, returning to that waterfall. In that snowy forest, Aura Pokémon stared back to the many beings around her. And, once again, she saw nothing but that demented aura of her trainer gazing back. Alice deactivated her latent talent to hide herself from the horror, and just to see normally again.

But back to reality; what should she do now? She had no trainer, her arm was broken, and her aura powers weren't working correctly. Her life was now a wreck, and she didn't know what to do. Well, no, she did know one thing she could do. Every Lucario knows the tale of 'The Kingdom'. Yes, the Lucario Kingdom, where all Lucarios and Riolus can find safe haven within. Many thought it was nothing more than a rumor. Why must a Lucario Kingdom exist at all? Riolus only evolve when they feel nothing but love for their Trainer, meaning their Trainer must be an amazing person. A Lucario Kingdom doesn't need to exist because of it.

But now, Alice knew the Lucario Kingdom was the only place she could go. If she didn't find it, she wouldn't survive for long. She'd either be found by her master and forced back into that life, or she would be caught by someone else and forced back into that life. If her trainer could treat her in such a horrible way, how could anyone else be any better?

Alice stood up from the waterfall and pulled out of it. Walking back on the snow covered land, the Lucario tried her hardest to dry her fur of the cold water. She looked down to her right arm as well, seeing the brown sling it was strung up in. The rag she used to conceal herself, was now being used to keep her arm elevated. Hopefully, it would fix itself. Hopefully, she wouldn't agitate it. Hopefully, she would be able to find the Lucario Kingdom.

Yeah. Hopefully. Maybe she was being a tad bit too hopeful.

But it wasn't like Alice had a definite idea of where the Lucario Kingdom was. After all, it was more of an ideal than an actual place. She knew it existed, but where? There was only one place she could go. She needed to head toward Canalave city, as much as she hated to admit it. Within Canalave's Library, all her answers await.

...

Sawyer stepped out of the dinner, a few bandages on his face, and a sandwich in hand. So far, his day had been rather eventful. Seriously, how often do you wake up and be attacked by a raging wild Lucario? Yeah, not often I'll have you know. But hey, it was all better now. He was patched up, Pachirisu was patched up, and they had breakfast. How wonderful is that?

"What a weird day, huh Pachirisu?" he said as he rubbed the head of the little EleSquirrel, "C'mon, I think it's time we went on to work... I'm not sure of bossman will like it if I came in late, even if I was attacked by a Lucario..."

"Pachu chu..." she replied, still sore from the earlier Lucario attack.

"Yeah, yeah, let's get moving..." he grimaced, "I'm so not looking forward to this..."

Sawyer stuck his hands into his pockets while he roamed for the city's edge, specifically out of the left side. Toward Route 218, which would lead to his destination; Canalave City. Sawyer removed is hand, in which he held a badge. A police badge; course not! Though he has been working on getting into the Jubilife PD. But, no, this badge which did shine gold and red, was not to the JPD, or the CPD, for that manner. It was to the Canalave Library.

"Crap... forgot my flashlight... Makin a detour home, Pachirisu!"

"Paaaaachuuuuu!" she said from annoyance.

...

The cone of his flashlight flicked left and right he walked through the long halls. Over the years, Canalave's Library had grown exponentially. No longer was it some small-time deal with only books, it was more akin to a museum if anything. All because the Sinnoh Champion had taken an extreme liking to the library, claims it helped her with her quest or something like that.

Eh, it didn't matter. To Sawyer, it was just one incredibly big building he was tasked with patrolling constantly. Well, he and Pachirisu; at least his boss wasn't a stickler on keeping his main Pokémon out of the building.

The time sat somewhere between nine and eleven. Yeah, do with that as you will. Sawyer trekked through the lonely darkness of his job, that flashlight illuminating the halls. Everything was where it should be; the vases, the artifacts, that super priceless Jewel of Arceus everyone was losing their minds over a few months ago. That was there too.

Yeah, everything was where it should be. And that's what made it boring. Sawyer sat on a random chair where many schoolchildren were usually seen studying, and took in a deep breath. When he took this job, he thought it would be more exciting than this. Yeah, don't ask why; he just thought it would be.

"Oh man Pachirisu... I shouldn't have skimped out on lunch today," Saywer groaned, "Cause now I'm tired Pachirisu..." he placed his face into the desk and groaned again, "This is that little pocket right? Where the cameras don't see me? I'mma catch a few z's Pachirisu... tell me if anything happens..."

"Pachu..." the Elesquirrel replied.

She heard some gentle snores escape Sawyer's lips, which made the EleSquirrel shrug from annoyance. Even though he was nearing his adult ages, her trainer still acted like a ten-year-old. I sickened Pachirisu; really it did. She walked toward the desk's edge and kicked her feet over the side, whilst thinking about that Lucario they ran into.

It was a deranged occurrence, and she was sure nothing like that would ever happen again. The two had heard about a series of Pokémon running around and causing trouble, but from what the local news said, it was only a group of Croagunks. They could deal with a Croagunk or two. But a Lucario? Yeah, right; no. No way in he--

The fuck was that?

Pachirisu's eyes grew wide as she gazed down to the second floor of the Canalave Library. There was a cloak dashing through it; running left and right. Shocked by this, the EleSquirrel tapped her trainer on the face. Of course, Sawyer's reply was,

"Not now... schools... and... cops and... robbers... and..."

Pachirisu tapped her foot on the ground with annoyance, before sparking electricity through her body. Focusing it all into her tail, she sent a powerful current right through the man's body. He jolted up and fell out of his chair, while yelling out loud.

"YEEEEE-OOOOOUCH! PACHIRISU!?" he roared.

She suddenly leaped onto his mouth to silence him. Sawyer gazed to her with wide eyes, before his Pokémon pointed down to the cloaked figure that lurked down below. It seemed to not notice him or his scream, much to Pachirisu's surprise. Meanwhile, Sawyer's heart began to race. He always wanted excitement within his job, but now that it was here, he didn't know what to do. So, all he could do was stare.

The cloak dashed into a row of books, vanishing into the darkness. Sawyer and Pachirisu finally took combined breathes of gratitude, before realizing the job was not done. They weren't alone in the library anymore; someone else was here with them. He needed to do something about it.

"Okay, um..." he whispered, "Pachirisu, ring the alarm. I'll go down there and try to do..." he swallowed his spit, "do something about this..."

Pachirisu gazed at him with a 'the heck did you just say?' face, before Sawyer stood up, leaving her. He walked silently for the staircase, and just as silently walked down them. He flicked his flashlight off, using his memory of the library's layout to guide him to where he last saw the figure. Back up to the row, he finally arrived.

Even through the darkness, he could see the the settle outline of the being. Sawyer swallowed his spit again, before lifting his flashlight. Right before he flicked the device on, the cloaked being looked at him. And, for that time, he had burning red eyes staring intensely at him.

His flashlight turned on.
