"The bloody hell Julyan," Kel said as Julyan tried to explain the situation.

"I could of sworn I was with you Kel I swear, I would never touch Kylian," Julyan said as Lynny let's out a laugh.

"I know they are splitting images of each other, but even I can tell them apart," Lynny said slapping Kel's shoulder.

Kel fumed crossing his arms glaring at the two, "Dad I swear I thought I was with Lea," Kilyan said his ears pinned to his head, while his cock had already soften still glistening with residue of his juices on it.

"Must be another conjured Illusion," Lynny said getting more serious now looking at Kel.

"Illusion's," Kilyan said looking at both his father, and Lynny in turn.

"Yes we suspect that the sorcerer that had kidnapped Zaldon is watching us," Kel said looking around the surrounding landscape.

Julyan slapped his hand against his forehead, "I've should've known I married one," He said placing a hand on Kyilan, "I'm sorry this happened Kilyan," Julyan said trying to ease the young wolf.

"It's alright Julyan I'm not angry at you," Kilyan said taking a deep breath, before smiling.

The group returned to the camp, "You two get some rest we'll leave as soon as possible," Lynny said before he took watch with Julyan.

Kel made sure to unroll his sleeping fur next Kilyan's once more then lays down, "Are you going to be alright," Kel said this time he was concerned for his son remembering back when Kilyan and him went to visit Zaldon years back, they were jumped by lone wolf, Kel managed to kill one of them only to find the other holding Kyilan hostage.

Then the lone wolf proceeded to tie them up and rape Kilyan violently. Kilyan turns to look at his father with a smile, "I'll be alright this is different from back then," He said knowing what his father was thinking about.

Kel reached out gripping Kilyan shoulder looking him in the eye with love and concern. Kilyan return the look, so after some small talk the two soon fell asleep as Lynny and Julyan kept watch, "So you like to cradle rob huh," Lynny said still amused from the situation earlier.

"For the last time I could of sworn it was Kel I was riding, not his son," Julyan said getting a little worked up.

Lynny laughed and slaps Julyan's back, "I'm just teasing," Lynny said as he looked back at camp watching Kel sleep, "I'd probably would've done the same if I was under the Illusion," Lynny admitted.

Julyan smiles, "even though I love Zaldon, Kel will always have his place in my heart," Julyan said punching Lynny in the shoulder.

"Ha! I couldn't agree more,"Lynny said returning the punch his brother-in-law gave him.

The two continue to watch over the group as they chatted through the night until the sun started to creep up over the horizon some hours later, "Alright everyone up," Julyan said getting up stretching as the other began to stir.

Loryn got up yawning, "I'll get breakfast going," He said looking through his pack pulling out a flint, and a stone to start up the fire again.

Then Loryn began preparing their breakfast, Julyan had pulled Kyilan from the group, "So hummmm are you alright," Julyan asks rubbing the back of his head adjusting his mane.

Kilyan looked down kicking a stone, "I'll be alright, like Lynny said we were tricked into it," Kilyan said feeling a little awkward.

Julyan placed a hand on Kilyan's shoulder, "Ok let me know if you need someone to talk to," Julyan offered seeing that something was bothering the young wolf.

Kilyan looked up with a smile, "I'll keep that in mind, Thanks Lavender eyes," Kilyan said as the two rejoined the group.

Lynny informed the others of what transpired last night, but left out what happened with Kilyan and Julyan.

Loryn and Yzlo looked at Kel out of concern after hearing that Kel was forced into killing a fake image of Gurwin.

"So we're getting closer then if this sorcerer is playing tricks with us," Yzlo said placing a hand on Kel's shoulder in support, while the black furred wolf stared at his food as the conversation continued.

"We would be closer if I was leading," Bayne said with a sneer glaring at Kel. as he chews the food in his mouth. Kel shot Bayne a glare in return putting down his food.

"really now what would you have done differently," Kel demanded holding out the compass.

"I would have traveled through the night instead of wasting time sleeping," Bayne interjected pointing a finger at Kel.

"You Summer wolves are lazy and incompetent," Bayne said standing up, Lynny tried to get him to sit down, but Bane shook his son off him.

"And what would that accomplish, we would be too tired to pick a fight," Kel yelled back shooting up pointing at Bayne angrily his patients at an end.

"At least we would be there now instead sitting here eating, while the bastard who has my son could do who knows what to him," Bayne said stomping towards Kel until they were inches apart from each other.

"You think I don't know that," Kel said his fists clenched as fresh thoughts of Zaldon laying somewhere injured played in his head.

Kilyan sat there completely at lost to what to do at this point, "Give me the compass boy," Bayne demanded holding out his hand.

"The hell I will," Kel said holding the compass to his chest glaring, Bayne chest heaved as he readied to fight, until Lynny came from behind holding his father from attacking.

Bayne struggled to get out of his sons grip, "Let me go so I can teach this summer who's superior here," Bane yelled at Lynny.

"Will you calm down," Lynny said angrily at his father as he held his Bane firmly in place.

"I will not," Bayne yelled as he gave Kel murderous stare.

"Listen here old man, we could've left you back, but I allowed you to come because your Zaldon's father," Kel said in clenched teeth his greens eyes flamed with anger.

"You allowed me," Bayne said finally shaking off Lynny and longed at Kel attempting to tackle him to the ground, Kel had anticipated this kicking to the side then lands a punch to the side of Bane's head.

Bayne was disoriented for a second or two before he came at Kel again, and this time kicked Kel's stomach sending the black furred wolf back a few steps, but before they could trade anymore blows Julyan had grabbed Kel, While Lynny managed to get a hold of Bayne once more.

The two panted angrily at each other for a moment or two, Bayne snorted starting to calm down some as did Kel who sat back down.

Julyan stood in between the two while Lynny let the still glaring Bane sit down as the rest of the time they ate in silence not wanted to cause another fight.

After they finished the rest of the food the group set out heading out of the wastelands, and headed in the direction the compass was pointing. The once barren landscape turned into a grassy plains then trees and lakes soon dotted the landscape.

Just then the compass was spinning going from one direction to another forcing Kel to stop in confusion, "What's wrong," Loryn asked peering over Kel's shoulder.

"The compass is freaking out for some reason," Kel said looking increasingly concerned, as Bayne finally had it with Kel, "You have no clue where we're going," Bane said crossing his arms.

Kel paid no attention to Bane as he shook the compass, but it continue to spin about pointing in random directions.

"What should we do Dad," Kilyan asked as Julyan started to fidget with worry.

"I'll tell ya what we'll do boy, I'm going to head this way, and find my son while you lot run around in circles," Bayne said as he gave Lynny a stern stare.

"No we need to stay together," Kel snapped at Bane.

"You can't tell me what to do," Bayne grunted as he started off going around the other side of the lake just as the skies began to darken, and a roll of thunder could be heard off in the distance.

"Dad please we need to sta.....," Lynny was about to finish as Bayne turned and looks at Lynny.

"Let's go find your brother," Bayne said as Lynny who couldn't disobey his father even if it'd killed him, Lynny sighs looking at Kel in defeat before heading off with his father.

"If you want to go and get lost so be it old man," Kel called out angrily as he turned to the others, "Anyone else," He asked then he was surprised as Julyan began to walk towards Bayne and Lynny.

"There my in-laws I need to look out for them Kel," Julyan said placing a hand on Kel's shoulder before jogging up to the two large winter wolves heading around the opposite side of the lake.

Kyilan was gonna yell for Julyan to come back, but stayed silent as Loryn looked up at the sky the clouds becoming black as night.

"It's gonna storm bad guys we need to find shelter," Loryn said as a flash of lightning arced across the sky.

"I agree let's head to the trees," Kel said still messing with the compass as they headed towards a small outcropping of trees, they at lost sight of Bayne, Lynny, and Julyan at this point as soon the wind began to howl.

As they moved through the forest another crackle of thunder then came the rain, and it was coming down so hard that they couldn't see no more than a foot in front of them, So Kel pulled out some rope and then had everyone tie it around their arm, while pushing against the rain and wind.

"We need to find shelter, and fast," Yzlo yelled over the howling wind as he caught Keeno, before he could be blown over.

"I know!!," Kel said holding onto Kilyan's arm as they pushed through until the came across a lake a runned down fishing shacks on the left side of a seems to be a large lake.

The group hastened as the got into the shack. looking about the shack wasn't in the greatest shape, one wall was completely gone, while there was several holes in the roof allowing water to pour through them.

"This'll have to do until the storm pasts," Kel said as everyone got into the dryest part of the fishing shack trying to dry themselves off.

"I hope the others will be alright," Kilyan said trying to dry himself off, as Loryn tries to find something dry they could use to start a fire.

"I hope so too son," Kel said while silently cursing himself for allowing the group to split up.

"Ha!! I'm the fire starting master," Loryn proclaimed as he managed to get a small fire going.

They spent most of the day huddled inside the run down shack as the rain continues to fall hard, "I wonder how long this'll last," Yzlo said as he sees that was slowly becoming dark, when he peered out seeing that even the lake was shrouded with rain.

"Soon I hope so we can get going," Kel said still trying to get the compass to work as still it was spinning about not pointing in one direction for very long.

Kel throw the compass into his pack, "Don't worry Dad we'll figure something out," Kyilan said trying to reassure his father, but he was getting just as worried himself.

Loryn searched through his pack, "Crap Julyan had the pans with him," Loryn said sighing as he grabbed a stick and put a piece of packed meat onto roasting it over the fire.

"We'll make due," Kel said as looking out at the lake, just then there was a female wolf standing on top of the lake glowing blue looking at him, "Guys look," Kel said looking away for a second only to turn back to find the female no longer there.

"What is it Dad," Kilyan asked looking out into the rain, while Loryn and Yzlo gave each other looks.

"Nothing just the rain playing tricks on me," Kel said as he grabbed his own stick, and sliding a sausage onto before holding it over the fire.

The group ate in silence until the darkness sets in as the rain continued to fall had. Kel had volunteered to take watch, while the others got some sleep. It had been several hours into the night, and Kel was gonna wake up Loryn to take up the next watch.

Just the Kel saw the female from before, but this time she was standing closer to him, "Come," the female said with a echo in her voice.

Kel wanted to wake the others up, but something told him not to, and walked up to the glowing female, "Who are you," Kel asked as he stood as close as he could without going out into the heavy rain fall.

"I am Malila, the spirit of the land of many lakes," she responded a small smile spread across her lips though it was an indifferent smile.

Kel was taken back, "A...a spirit," Kel whispered out, as Malila nods.

"I've come to you to show you a vision in time," Malila said pointing at the surface at the lake, this is when Kel noticed the Malila was standing on the surface of the water itself.

"A what," Kel said still confused with that is going on, he wasn't much into spirits in such, but he couldn't deny what was in front of him.

"You are going to see a moment in time that has now past," Malila said holding out her hand as a globe of water rose from the lake and hovered in front of Kel.

Kel was perplexed as an image slowly came into few inside the water globe, "Just breath Alea, just breath," Kel was shocked when he heard it, it was Zaldon's voice.

After the image became clearer, there was Zaldon holding the hand of another female, who Kel could assume was Alea, she was a light blue furred wolf, and had mane that went down her head.

Alea began to scream as she was bearing down, then the wails of a child echoed through the room, a wolf that Kel couldn't see placed a newly born pup into Zaldon's arms. The little pup was white like Zaldon, with his eyes, while having Alea's facial features.

"What should we name her," Alea said tiredly smiling up at Zaldon.

Zaldon returned the smile as he looked down at the small child laying on his arm, with great love, "We'll call her Ettore," Zaldon said as he gently laid down next Alea as the two cooed to their new born child.

Kel could do nothing but smile as the vision played out, "Wow why hasn't Zaldon told me," Kel said quietly as the vision continued to play out.

Zaldon was now standing in a room with a cradle in the middle of it, Kel listened as Zaldon swayed from side to side singing a song that Kel could only assume was in moon tongue.

Once Zaldon was sure that Ettore was asleep, Zaldon then laid the little pup into the cradle, "Good night my Ettore," Zaldon said gently planting a kiss on the little pup before leaving.

The image soon skipped to another scene with Zaldon and Alea talking outside in a hallway, "Don't worry Zaldon you'll love it here," Alea said with a smile, but soon noticed Zaldon was staring at the doorway next to them.

"What's wro.....," Alea then too looked the doorway as, "No," Alea said as she ran into the room, then a shrill cry came from it as Zaldon too ran in too.

Alea was holding Ettore limp body in her hands, Zaldon stood there any sort of happiness soon drained from his face as he reached down taking Ettore from Alea, "Please breath," Zaldon said his voice quivering as he shook the limb body in his hands trying to get her to do something.

"No no no please breath my Ettore PLEASE!!!!," Zaldon began to wail as he held the babies limb body to him as Alea hugged Zaldon both of them crying for the little girl they had lost.

Kel had collapsed to his knees tears streaming down his cheeks, "O Zaldon my poor Zaldon," Kel said as the image of Zaldon crying holding Ettore limb body stood frozen in the water globe.

Malila waved her hand and the image faded as the water dropped back into the lake, "You are wondering why I showed you this," Malila asked as Kel wiped the tears from his face looking up at the spirit with deep sorrow in his green eyes.

"Zaldon has lost many things in his life, each one leaving a scar on his heart," Malila stepping close to Kel holding a hand under his chin lifting Kel's head so they looked each other in the eye.

"Don't be another scar Kel, you need to save him, and never let him go again," Malila as Kel sniffled as he stood up giving a nod.

"I'll never let him go ever again," Kel said with sheer determination in his eyes that shone through the sorrow.

Malila smiled as she faded away, with that the rain slowly stopped, Kel then looked across the lake at the other shack to find Bane looking out at him.

Lynny roared over the wind and rain, "We need to find shelter," He said holding onto his father and Julyan as they trekked through the storm until they came across a lake with a runned down fish shack on the right side of the lake.

"Hurry inside," Bayne yelled as they went for the closest one that was sitting on the far right side of the lake.

Once inside the three wolves pant shaking off as they peered around to find that the shack was in terrible condition, there was a large hole in the ceiling, while the east wall had completely collapse into the lake next to it.

"Is everyone alright," Julyan said panting as he went about starting a fire so they could dried off.

"I'm fine," Bayne grunted as he sat down rubbing his knee, while Lynny went through his pack.

"Damn Loryn had all the meat in his pack, all I have is a sack full of dried fruit," Lynny said handing the two an equal share, before eating some of it as well grunting wanting nothing more to eat something meaty.

Julyan and Bayne ate silently as the rain continues to beat against the shack not once showing any signs of relenting, "Man it's really coming down," Julyan said looking out unable to see anything.

"Yeah we might be here for awhile," Lynny said sitting next to his father looking down at the small fire he managed to set.

"Julyan tell me something," Bayne said looking up at Julyan, "Why did you decide to come with us," He asked wondering as he chewed on some dried fruit.

"Well like it or not we're family, and Zaldon would wreck me if I like his father and brother wandered off by themselves," Julyan said with a small smile on his face.

Bayne grunted then takes in a deep breath and humphs a little, "Well at least my son can pick a reliable......husband," He said pausing for a moment before finishing.

Lynny ears perked looking at his father completely taken back at what he just said, Julyan was in the same way, but shook out of it, "hummmm Thanks Bayne," Julyan said finishing up the dried fruit Lynny had given him.

Bane gave Julyan a less abrasive look, then something caught his eye, a female was standing out on the lake. Bayne had to do a double take to find that she had vanished.

"I'll take first watch," Bayne said as Julyan and Lynny looked at each other then nodded at Bane.

After the two had gone and fell asleep leaving Bane alone as he watched the fire dance in the air, when a voice called out to him.

"Bayne," the voice called making the older white wolf stand up looking around, "How's there," He demanded.

Bayne had turned around to find the female that he saw earlier stood closer than she was, "Who are you girl," Bayne said squaring his shoulder and taking a deep breath.

"I'm Malila a spirit of this land of many lakes," Malila introduced herself to Bane.

Bayne there in awe, he had heard stories of various spirits, but never would have imagined meeting one himself, "Great spirit why have you come," Bayne said in much more calm tone.

"I have come to show you a vision in time, and learn," Malila said as she raised her hand and a globe of water rose from the lake, and in front of Bayne.

"What are you going to show me," Bayne asked only to have an image appear in front of him.

"Alright Zaldon now hold the dagger like this," said Bayne who was years younger, than the Bayne standing watching to vision play out.

A young Zaldon picked up the dagger into his hand trying to hold it the same way his father was, "Like this Dad," little Zaldon said holding the dagger in a fighting stance.

"Almost," Bane said reaching down adjusting Zaldon's stance looking down and nodding, "Like that, now throw it," Bayne commanded as Zaldon threw the dagger hitting the far left side of the tree not even close to the red spot that Bane had drew for a target.

"Grab it and throw it again," Bayne yelled as Zaldon scurried over grabbing the dagger, and ran back to his father, then threw it again, and again until all the while Bayne verbally abused Zaldon with each failed throw.

Just then Zaldon hit the target, and Bayne smiled as he leans down rubbing the back of Zaldon's head, "That's my boy see you can do," Bayne said affectionately down at Zaldon.

Zaldon smiled looking up at his father, "Thanks Dad," He said though looking down a little depressed from the verbal abuse later.

"Hey let's get some sugar ice pops, and head home," Bayne said with a small smirk as Zaldon leapt up hugging Bane, "O thank you thank you," Zaldon beaming happily.

"Remember a warrior doesn't act like this," Byane said firmly as Zaldon looked down, only to receive a chuckle from Bane as he patted Zaldon's head leading him off.

Present Bayne looked on with an impassive look on his face, but his eyes shown a longing for those days to be back.

Just then the image changed into something completely different, little Zaldon was surrounded by angry villagers calling him all sorts of hateful names, "He's a cock sucker," one of them yelled as he throw a rock and hits Zaldon in the side of the head making Zaldon cry out in pain.

Bayne came running through the crowd, then shielding Zaldon from any more rocks, "Enough he's just a boy, he's not a tail chaser aren't you boy," Bayne yelled out as picking up Zaldon who didn't say a thing to Bane.

Bayne looked at Zaldon for a moment or two before sneering dropping Zaldon onto the ground giving Zaldon a look of disgust, while Zaldon's face only shown complete sorrow, and fear.

Then the image faded, and the water globe dropped back into the water, while present Bane looked at the ground with sadness etched on his face.

"Do you know why I showed you this," Malila asked looking at Bane with some sympathy in her eyes.

Bayne looked up, but didn't say anything as Malila spoke, "Zaldon lost his father that day, you need to be his father again if he is going to be saved," Malila said as placing a hand on Bayne's talisman glowed again his muscle becoming more defined once more like in his youthful days.

"You'll need this strength in the day ahead, now go Zaldon needs his father ," Malila said fading away.

Bayne took in a deep breath nodding as the rain soon stopped, then Bayne saw another shack on the other side of the lake to find Kel looking at him.

Bayne gestured for Kel to meet him halfway, being as quiet as possibly walked out of the shack, and met Kel.

Both stood there looking at each other as they replayed the vision they had witnessed, Kel was the first to speak up.

"I'd like to apologize," Kel began, but Bane held up a hand.

"No I need to apologize I let my pride and hatred getting in the way in find my son," Bayne admitted.

"Still as the oldest of the group I should've deferred to you for help," Kel said rubbing the back of his head, "Like it or not I love Zaldon, and I want to be in his life," He continued as Bayne gave Kel another glare snorting a bit, before taking a deep breath.

"Listen summer bra.....Kel I may not like the fact Zaldon like males especially males that aren't winter wolves," Bayne said crossing his arms giving Kel a stern look, then the words of the lake spirit echoed in his mind, "you need to be Zaldon's father again".

"I know," Kel said thinking back about his father, and how he felt about his feelings for Zaldon.

"But I can stomach the fact that Julyan, and you want to be in my sons life," Bane said his expression softening a bit, "So as his father I can be a little more....civil," He finished.

Kel was taken back by Bane's words, "Well this is a start," Kel thought as he reached up with his hand holding it in front of Bane, "Let's put the day behind us, and work as a team this time," Kel said as Bane shook Kel's hand.

"It's a deal," Bane said with a small smirk on his face, just then a golden light emitted from Kel's pack.

Pulling out the compass the needle glowed bright gold, finally pointing in a single direction, both Bane and Kel followed the compass to find an entrance to a cave that was nestled against the bottom of a cliff.

"Wake the others," Bane said running to the shack to get Lynny and Julyan.

Kel did the same, "Hold on Zaldon we're coming,".
