An interesting little short story I wrote in a gift/art trade for one of our best fans, vore308. Their opossum character actually shared the same name as Alexis the golden-retreiver, so for this story we decided to refer to the character as "Amp."

I'm rather happy with how this turned, and WillingPrey thoroughly enjoyed it as well, so I'd consider it a happy success.

Thanks for reading!

~Alexis

The Zero Horizon Hotel and Nightclub was just like any other in downtown New Kottenburg - boisterous, crowded, and packed with enough strobes to give the entire city a seizure. Ear-splitting dubstep ripped through the club to rock everything from soda to concrete, lights flashed and flickered fast enough to cause the uninitiated to black out, and the DJs were worshipped like gods.

The dance floor spread out before the stage like a sea, a living, teeming mass of fur, sweat and body fluids that lived and died by music's command. Furs of all kinds jumped, danced, and howled at any given second as their bodies rammed on and off each other with enough force to cover them with bruises. To the outsider it was madness, chaos, insanity, but to the three hundred strong in the dance floor, rave was as close to bliss as anyone would ever get.

But enlightenment wasn't for everyone. For every hundred that danced, three times more watched from dozens of balconies and windows spread above the ground floor. They were like alien observers as they shouted to themselves to be heard above the noise, half-mocking and half-wishing they could get down there at the swish of a tail and the tip of an ear before quietly retiring to their dens with an arm around their partner.

And there they were: the ravers, the mockers, the wishers, and the gods who ruled over everything with merciful bounty. Everyone was content and anyone otherwise was drunk, but there was one more party, a group everyone envied but could never truly belong to - the non-believers.

It was called Eclipse, and it was their home in the clouds, or at least the top business floor. A club within a club, exclusivity in exclusivity, and a city of bars, booths and denial, well-insulated from the music, lights, and everything else that drove the ones below mad with glee. There they sat, sipping hundred dollar wines and nibbling on dishes never destined to be finished, all the while casting an occasional glance below.

And one thought above all others ruled their minds: I've made it.

Amp the opossum was no exception. The female sat at an elegant barstool with a pink worm tail crossed casually around her legs and a glass of fine wine tight in her paws. Her white-furred body was covered by a purple hoodie just casual enough to be well-looked upon by the management, and her clothes ended with a pair of blue jeans that cut right above her exposed toes. Amp fit right into Eclipse: a first-timer pretty enough to make the men tip her the occasionally smile, and smart enough to know not to do anything beyond return it.

The bar and restaurant buzzed around her as people shuffled and mingled back and forth from one end to the other. People came and went, occasional, riotous laughter erupted from a party upstairs, and Amp simply remained on the bar stool and sipped at her wine; the smooth glass tickled her whiskers.

The opossum set her drink onto the bar with a small click, and watched out of the corner of her eye as a figure slid in beside her. It looked like another male canine, and was no doubt another lonely horn dog - did he know how many had already tried?

With a small sigh, Amp scooped up her glass and glanced over at the dog, mouth half-open and ready to snap out a thing or two to make him turn tail. It clicked shut the moment the dog opened hers.

"Place is full of creeps tonight," the female spoke with a purr that could have belonged to a kitten, "What does a girl have to do to make it clear she's not interested?"

The dog was a beautiful golden retriever collie mix with fluffy yellow-white fur, deep muted eyes and curled brown hair that hung close around her neck. One ear was straight with the other bent, and her face was curled in an amiable grin that showed hints of devilish mischief. Her appearance was finally crowned in a flamboyant scarlet dress that tightly wrapped her small-breasted body. Eclipse membership or not, the dog looked like an absolute scoundrel.

The opossum stared for a few seconds before settling back into her barstool; the dog was breathtakingly gorgeous - Amp's only regret was that it had taken this long to find her.

"Tell me about it," the opossum agreed and sipped back at her wine, "You'd think it's some sort of gentlemen's club," she added with a laugh, "Without the sexy gentlemen."

The retriever nodded and scooped up a rich champagne, "I know, right?"

"I was about to leave, honestly, sick of it, really," Amp took another drink to empty the glass, "If another male does so much as look at me..."

"Exactly," the dog's tail flicked back and forth behind her with it curled at the tip, "It's SO nice to finally find a fellow woman to talk to here."

She then added with a fanged smile, "I'm Alexis, by the way. Good to meet you."

"Amp."

"Cute," Alexis laughed, "In fact, cutest thing in here if I dare say it."

That got a smile, and the dog continued, "So what brings you here, Amp? Certainly not the male company, I trust."

"Ha! Yeah, I was invited to some sort of party upstairs or something. I hung around for two minutes before discovering that drinks are free with an invite," Amp grinned and pushed away her glass in an uninterested sweep, "I'm not an alcoholic, I swear; but I do know how to whet my desires every now and then."

"I like where this is going," Alexis grinned, "As for me, though, I guess you could say that I'm a regular. Have a suite here, number one twenty-nine. Top floor," the dog glanced around for emphasis, "Trust me, it's much, much quieter."

Amp nodded, "Sounds lovely."

Alexis flicked her hair around her neck, "Then what do you say we ditch this Popsicle stand, Amp? Head to my room. It'll certainly be more private, and I guarantee it's free from slobbery morons."

"Depends," Amp grinned.

"On what?"

"On what happens next."

Alexis grinned and brushed a fluffy paw under the opossum's chin, "Oh, I don't know... I guess I just wanted to show you a thing or two."

The dog lapped up the rest of the champagne and deposited the glass upside down on the counter with a nod to the bartender. She dabbed her mouth with a cloth napkin, tossed it aside, and swept down to her paws with the same devilish grin across her muzzle.

"In any case, you better make up your mind, Amp. I'm out of here in thirty seconds with or without your company."

Alexis started striding out away from the bar, hips and tail swishing in perfect rhythm, and Amp watched quietly. Thoughts of what would no doubt come next raced through her dirty opossum mind, and after another second the opossum hopped off the stool and trotted after Alexis. It was crazy, but what the hell. When was the last time she'd had a good one night stand?

"Consider it with."

"And I almost thought you were gonna stay," Alexis gave a pleasant smile and held open the door. They stepped out into a small hallway that ended in a decorated glass revolving door to keep out the noise, and the pair made their way out into the heart of Zero Hour nightclub.

Even from a dozen stories above the dance floor, the overwhelming force of the rave party hit them like a brick. Things became louder as the night ticked on, and Alexis trotted across the balcony and past a few people dancing and drinking to the music.

She led Amp over to an elevator and flicked the button with a click of her paw. The crowd below erupted with howls, shrieks and barks as a favorite song started to play, and Alexis started to jokingly dance and wave her arms. The scarlet dress swished gracefully as she spun around and performed a little bow that sent hair all across her face; Alexis noisily blew it off with her tongue halfway across her chin.

"Maybe you should live inside a subwoofer instead," Amp giggled.

"Says the opossum named Amp," the dog smiled, "But hey. If you can't beat them, join them."

The elevator doors slid open with a ding, and the pair shifted inside. There were at least ten floors to choose from, and Alexis tapped somewhere in the middle to send the elevator racing upwards.

"I didn't even know this was up here," Amp watched as everything from Eclipse, the balconies, and the rave floor sparkled behind the elevator's glass front. She could even make out individual furs on the first floor.

"Oh, it's beautiful, isn't it?"

Alexis sighed and swept up behind the opossum. After a few more seconds, the view switched to a crystal-clear mirror as the elevator swept up into the residential floors.

"But not as beautiful as you," Alexis whispered and put her paws and muzzle on Amp's shoulders. "Look at you! Absolutely scrumptious!"

The retriever brushed her wet nose into Amp's muzzle and gave her a squeeze, "You're perfect."

"For what?" the opossum giggled, ears bobbing back and forth.

"You'll see. It's a surprise."

Alexis gave Amp's shoulder a playful nip and held her fangs up against her neck, "But let's just say that tonight, you're *all* mine..."

"And you're all mine?

Alexis' fangs trembled on Amp's fur as she laughed, "You'll find out soon enough."

The elevator doors glided open with a ding. Alexis slowly drew her teeth through Amp's fur before a final kiss on the ear. She put both paws around the opossum to turn them to the exit, and took hold of her fingers to usher them down the hallway.

"And I thought Eclipse had it made..." Amp gasped and brushed her foot-paws against the rich scarlet carpet. It was unlike anything she had seen: the hallway seemed to stretch to infinity, and every inch was covered with the tasteful, conservative, and simple modern design that Zero Hour had become famous for. Work from artists on the bleeding edge of new adorned the walls and square-edged tables, and with every new step, she couldn't decide which way to look next.

Alexis did it for her. "Room number one-twenty-nine," she glanced back at her guest with a smile, "Eighth door on the right. Can't miss it."

The numbers were positioned on beautiful ebony-colored triangles that hung right above each doorway and were visible from either side. Amp's eyes ran down the hallway until she found one-twenty-nine. It was just like all the others, which was of course, a hefty compliment, and she trotted after Alexis until they reached a beautifully crafted door decorated with accented wood squares - The opossum could have looked at that alone for ten minutes...

"Oh my god, Alexis..." she began, "Everything is so beautiful."

The retriever smiled, "Sweetie, you haven't seen anything yet."

With just the right amount of flourish, Alexis snatched the keycard up from her dress and gave it a flick. The door swung open automatically.

"Wow..."

The reflection in Amp's eyes captured the room like a photograph, and she took a few quiet steps in awe. It was everything she imagined it to be and more: decorated with the same bleeding-edge modern art found throughout the rest of the top floor, but this time, with a decidedly feminine, and more canine, touch.

"Well you aren't just going to stand there now, are you?" Alexis spoke with a grin and playfully batted a paw against the opossum's rear, "The place is yours as much as mine tonight, go on in!"

"R-really?" Amp half-stumbled through the door before slowing at entrance way. The first thing she noticed was a table with a gorgeous male German shepherd sculpture and an even more handsome photograph, and the opossum turned back to Alexis with a smirk.

"And I thought you didn't like horndogs," she giggled.

"It's a statue, not a man," Alexis smiled and gestured them along, "What a woman does in her spare time is none of your business, anyway."

"Sure, sure."

Amp nodded and Alexis ushered her past the entryway and into the apartment. It was admittedly smaller than she imagined. There was a small but comfortable bedroom to the left and a small living area to the right with a dining room kitchenette. Art of paw prints, dog noses, and other canine things dotted the walls to close the atmosphere with a final tasteful stroke, and Amp watched in awe. Even at its size, the apartment was probably worth more than most furs made in ten years.

"Alexis, I..." she glanced around and slowly turned on her paws. From the wine and fresh fruit on the table, to the fluffed pillows on the couch, everything was perfect.

"Like I said, Amp, it's yours for the night," Alexis purred and wagged her tail, "And I think I know the perfect way to get started..."

Amp's body tensed up with excitement; this dog really got right down to business...

The opossum quietly swung around in front of Alexis and glanced up at her with a dirty spark in her eye, "And what might that be?"

She raced to slide off her hoodie and gave it a haphazard toss at the couch; it came down right on target.

"And do I really have to answer?"

Alexis stared greedily and gave her tongue a subtle swipe across her lips. The loose hoodie had hidden Amp's body well; beneath laid a beautifully slender waist and form that were topped by a generous pair of luscious, plump breasts that jiggled perfectly as she moved. The golden retriever could barely restrain herself from stripping her guest down further.

Amp smiled back, a little anxious to see what surprises Alexis had of her own, and gently slipped off her blue jeans. The panties hugged her body even tighter than the bra, but her fingers suddenly froze on the straps.

"It's no fun if it's only one of us, you know," the opossum looked up with a smile.

"Well... I had a little something else in mind."

Alexis artfully flicked off Amp's bra and let the pink-nipped breasts spill out before her, "But it's a bit of a surprise..."

Amp managed to idly tug off one of Alexis' dress straps to expose that much more golden, fluffy fur.

"Oh?"

"Come closer, sweetie, and I'll show you."

"With pleasure..."

Amp swung in for a kiss, lips poised at the very tip of her muzzle, and threw her arms around the dog. She pulled them closer, tighter, but instead of a pair of canine lips against hers, she was met with Alexis' fanged, gaping maw.

"Gab!"

It was confused repulsion at first sight. The second the opossum saw the mouth, this gaping abyss of fangs, tongue, and throat, she was absolutely terrified. Bleach-white fangs seemed to line every inch with terrifying efficiency, and with them came dozens of stringy saliva strands that stretched across from top to bottom like liquid vines. The drool pooled into a pink, floppy tongue before running off the end and sides off onto the floor, and Amp watched for another split second before forcing Alexis away from her and stumbling backwards with a wild yell.

"What the hell!?" she screamed, "What are you doing?"

Alexis' jaws snapped shut with a loud crack, and the dog suddenly glanced up at her guest and popped her maw back open. The tongue ran down to collect a few drippings of saliva off her chin.

"What does it look like, numbskull?" she barked and took a step forward, "Now be a good guest and hold still..."

Alexis suddenly slapped a clawed paw straight across Amp's face to cause her to reel backwards in blurry, torturous pain.

"Stay back!" she hissed, "Stay back!"

The opossum held one paw close to her face, and flicked the other in Alexis' direction.

"Or what?" the dog grinned.

"I'll... I'll..." she began to stutter, but the dog bored easily. Alexis threw another excruciating slap, and before Amp could even react, seized both her shoulders and forced them both to the floor.

"Nice try," Alexis said with a grin and gave her tongue a generous lick across the tip of Amp's nose, "But I'd do something a little different if I were you..."

Amp struggled madly and scratched her claws against the dog's thick, furred body, but to no avail. The harder she fought, the tighter Alexis pushed their bodies together, and she exhaled a deep breath of alcohol and kibble appetizer straight into Amp's face.

"Let me go!" she screamed and wiggled beneath Alexis' overpowering weight, "What the fuck are you doing?"

"Pssh! I'd stop that if I were you..." Alexis gently held her fangs against Amp's neck before giving them a threatening squeeze, "I can bite a lot harder, you know, and honestly, I don't think you want to find out just how much..."

Amp gradually slowed her struggling until it was little more than the occasional shift in weight, and Alexis leaned closer until their noses were just inches apart.

"That's better," she sighed, and released her fangs, "Now would you like to know what I'm going to do with you?"

Amp nodded; the devilish way that Alexis' eyes shone in the light convinced her that staying quiet was a *very* good idea.

"Well," Alexis licked her lips again, "I could beat it around the bush all night, but I suppose we'll just get to the chase..."

The opossum stared with wide, anxious eyes, and the reply rolled off Alexis' tongue smoother than saliva.

"I'm going to eat you," she gave Amp's nose and mouth one more lick, "Whether you like it or not."

"What?" the opossum stuttered, "No! You can't!"

"Oh, now that's where you're wrong..." Alexis squeezed a little tighter, "I absolutely can..."

"I won't fit! Please, Alexis!" Amp whined, "Please!"

The dog did everything but listen, "I'm afraid we'll prove you wrong on that in just a second," she purred, "But before we do, I'd like to say one more thing you might be interested in..."

Alexis exhaled yet another a hot, humid wave of stinking dog breath before continuing, "It's a bit silly, really, but I've found that it's quite popular with certain guests."

"Just get on with it," Amp growled.

"Well if you insist," she grinned, "Basically... I'm going to give you a choice. Go down willingly, and I'll make it feel *amazing* for both of us, or go down squirming, screaming, and with blood trickling from more places than you can imagine. Trust me; one hurts a lot, lot more."

"Neither..." Alexis squirmed and bared her fangs, "Just let me go, you crazy bitch."

"Wrong answer."

Amp spat in the retriever's face, and managed to nip her fangs straight into leathery, vulnerable nose. Alexis let out a yelp and landed a fistful of claws somewhere into opossum in quick response, and flashed her fangs mere hairs from the guest's face.

"REALLY wrong answer, rat."

"I'm an opossum!" Amp snapped.

"Well for tonight, you're dog shit!"

Without another second, Alexis jerked open her maw and forced Amp's head straight into her jaws. Wiry fur immediately met dark, soft flesh and runny, sticky pools of saliva surrounded by the sinister walls of fangs. Amp began fighting back immediately. Her entire body broke into violent, wrenching convulsions as claws, fingers and bone dove into her attacker.

"Stop!" she shook her body and flailed madly, "Alexis, let me go! Alexis!"

The dog let out a low growl and tightened her fangs against Amp's neck and began yanking more and more of her inside. With every inch, the fangs scraped tight against her skin to cause excruciating spikes of pain.

That just made it worse. The more Alexis tried to silence her prey, the more it fought back, and she began violently shaking her head back and forth around the opossum's neck, teeth still positioned.

"STOWP," she managed to grunt loudly.

Amp screamed out in agony as the murderous fangs began to pierce fur, skin, and flesh. Blood began to trickle down around the mouth, staining fang, fur, and anything else it touched, and the opossum began to yield.

"Nnnnnnnnnh..." Amp groaned loudly as her body began to slow to little more than a vibrating wiggle. Her free paws gently fingered the wounds and occasionally batted at Alexis' face, and the canine smiled at the feeble resistance.

There was nothing Amp could do now. All Alexis had needed was a few seconds with the upper paw to seal her guest's doom, and she began to reposition herself for the next move. Her head suddenly arced at an aggressive angle and she began shoving and swallowing more of Amp in by the legs - the opossum began to disappear inch by inch and hair by hair.

Amp was up to her neck, and then her shoulders, once-white fur now dark-red and matted with blood and saliva. She barely felt anything, nothing more than the numbing, hypnotic rhythms of the throat against her body as she peered out into the consuming darkness. The fangs brought muted but ignorable pain, and her tail slowly twitched back and forth behind her while her body gently squirmed against the dog's skinny paws.

"Good girl," Alexis thought as she shifted over to her haunches and flopped down onto the floor. One paw was tight behind her for balance, while the other gestured and guided the opossum inside while giving Amp occasional dash of pain. Her breaths noisily gasped around her prey, causing the entire room to seem to fill with the stench of kibble-scented dog breath, and she gave a low growl of pleasure.

Amp felt wonderful. The opossum was just the right size for her throat, and she popped more of her in until she was up to the waist. Every squirm inside Alexis' throat brought muted but powerful pleasure, and she gave a low moan and wiped off a bit of dribbling saliva from her mouth. Couldn't have that ruin her dress, now could she?

Amp slid deeper and deeper into the golden-retriever, heat, stench, and awareness increasing with every inch. The thoughts began to return along with fear, resistance, and anger, and Amp began to suddenly resume her struggle. It couldn't end like this!

"Alexis!" she let out a muted scream from somewhere inside the dog, "Alexis, let me out! Please! I'm begging you!"

"MMMMMMMMMHMMF," Alexis grunted out in rude reply. Amp's legs were flailing straight outside her face, and every now and then her paws came just a little too close for comfort. She bit her fangs into the thin, fleshy thighs, stripped off Amp's panties, and gathered just enough air to grunt out a reply.

"No..."

"Alexis! P-please! I'm going to die in here! I'll do anything, Alexis!"

The dog gave Amp a hearty shove that sent her in up to her calves. Fangs were no use now, and Alexis snapped her jaws wide open and positioned her tongue in a small open spot.

"That's kind of the point, isn't it?" she barely managed to get the words out, "Now shut up and make the rest easy on both of us. Little fucking rat shit..."

"You... you bitch!" Amp screamed in the saliva-drenched hell. The throat was unbelievably warm, and she began throwing whatever she could move in a last-ditch attempt, "Let me out RIGHT now!"

All that ended up moving was her tail, the pink, ringed worm of an appendage, and Alexis stared as it fluttered and twirled madly in front of her. The dog threw her free paw up to catch it, but she was too slow. Instead, the pink, hard flesh hit her right between the eyes with a resounding smack.

"GAAAAAH!" Alexis' other paw flew up to her face in response to the sudden, intense burning, and she fell flat on her back with a sharp thud. Immediately, Amp began trying to madly wriggle herself backwards and out, but Alexis wrapped her fingers around the opossum's foot-paws and dug her claws into the flesh.

"Oh no you don't," Alexis hissed and gave them a forceful push downwards. She managed to get a word in between every next attempt.

"Get... In... There!"

"No!" Amp screamed and flailed her paws and tail, but Alexis merely tightened her grip to freeze the paws in place. The tail twirled threateningly, and Alexis forced her eyes shut and rammed the paws down with all the force she could muster.

"JUST GIVE UP!"

The rest of Amp tore down the throat and Alexis closed her maw around the tail before slurping it down like a pasta noodle. She threw both her paws on her jaw to hold it shut tight, and then gave a massive gulp that sent the opossum racing down.

The soft, squishy plop and the sudden weight of Amp inside her stomach felt better than anything else. Finally it was over, the fucking rat could just snap, crackle, and digest, and Alexis let her arms drop to the floor before cracking open her mouth and letting out a massive, stinking belch.

"Wave goodbye to your air supply, fucker," Alexis gasped, "And *keep* squirming..."

"No, no! Lemme out!"

Amp's body was squished, soaked, and cramped inside the stomach, and it was only getting worse. Her legs and tail were forced inside to push her into a hellish little ball, and the smell of rot was overwhelming. The stomach walls continually massaged and pushed her tighter and tighter until her body had nothing else to give; strange enough, it was practically the most affection and appreciation she had received all night.

"Oh you'll get out, of course," Alexis purred, "Eventually..."

"Alexis!" Amp scratched a paw as hard as she could into the stomach wall, but it caused little more than a giggle, "Let me out of here RIGHT now!"

"Mmmmmmmmmmm," the dog licked her lips and pushed down into the stomach with both paws, "You were so delicious, by the way..."

Alexis' shifted over to her belly and she pushed herself up to her paws. Amp's body tumbled and moved around in free-fall, and she gave out a few yelps before the dog started waddling over to the couch.

"Oh just shut up!" Alexis complained, "Food *doesn't* talk, remember?"

"YOU BITCH!"

"Mmmmhmmm," Alexis gave a sarcastic response and flopped down on the couch to force out a sharp scream of pain from her stomach, "At least you got something right."

Amp hissed loudly. With the added weight, the walls encircled her tighter than they ever had, and she began to wince and shift as digestive acids eagerly joined her. At first it was just a nuisance, but then it began climbing up her body until it was several inches up. It burned and fizzled madly, eating away at her fur until it came deep into the skin, and threatened her with a hellish itch that gave way to a dull, sinister burn. As Amp was learning firsthand, it was hard to feel when something ate away at your very nerves.

The stomach walls kept massaging to force the acids up and down like a sort of tide, and it was only a matter of time before they started kissing Amp's face. She tried to push her head away, eyes and mouth quivering with fear as the stomach gestured her to join the rest of her body in dull, numb respite, and the opossum let out one final, shrieking scream.

"S-STOP!"

Alexis let out a loud burp and inhaled the sweet scent of digesting prey. It got her every time...

"What was that?" she asked with a yawn, "You should probably speak up. You don't have much time to give your last remarks..."

"I said..." the acids trickled down her throat as Amp spoke, and half of her face was already submerged, "S... stop."

The last words came out as a pathetic little squeak, and any more attempts at communication turned into muted gurgles as the acids swelled over her and poured into her lungs. Amp lost consciousness quickly, and the feeling of her mind leaving her body was nothing but a disappearance of the dull, numbing pain...

"BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP!" a loud belch that reeked and sounded of less than death erupted from Alexis' lips, and she gave a subtle smile.

"Are you all done in there, Amp?"

The stomach gurgled loudly in response and began squeezing and gnawing away with more vigor than ever.

"I thought so," Alexis grinned and closed her eyes. She pushed her paws down into her belly and pushed and patted random positions to help the stomach along. It felt absolutely amazing, and one her paws eventually found its way straight between her crotch and straight up her pussy...

"Now if you'll excuse me..."

There wasn't as much hope for the stomach's inhabitant. All of Amp's fur had already burned off to expose the tender, vulnerable flesh underneath, and the muscle began to burn and rip away underneath. Soon there was nothing left but bones, and a few stubborn internal organs. Minutes later, Amp was nothing more than a chime possum puddle.

Alexis stared drowsily at the arm of her couch and blinked. The stomach was steadily shrinking to a soft, balloon-like bulge, and with one more burp, the dog started to fall asleep.

The opossum had been a wonderful, satisfying meal, but in a few hours, Alexis' hunger would surface anew. And when it did, she wanted to have *plenty* of energy. You could never know, maybe Amp even had a friend or two.
