Chapter 2

Run on Pure Imagination

I woke up the next morning with just me in my bed. "I could've sworn there was someone else here." I mumbled as I looked around my room. Just me and the same old surroundings. I decided to dismiss the thought of someone else being here and went back to sleep. But I was interrupted a little while later when something poked my face. I opened my eyes to see a blue, white, and black jackle-like figure. The Lucario. "Oh. That's what was missing..." I muttered to myself.

"Um... Steven?" The Lucario asks. I think her name was Kura? Time to find out.

"Yes, Kura?" I ask.

"I... This is ah... a little... embarrassing but... I need to pee." She says.

My eyes grow wide at the mention of that last word. I quickly jump out of bed and run downstairs. Kura following right on my heels. I open the back door to my house and let her out. She quickly ran out and I shut the door before I could see anything else. I let go of a deep breath I now realized I was holding in and said to myself, "Well... That was... Awkward to say the least." A few moments later a muffled knock came from the door, signaling Kura didn't run off. I opened the door to see the Lucario with her head down in embarrassment. "You all done?" I asked.

"I'm not a pet!" She yelled. Her eyes now glaring daggers at me.

"Sorry. Just figured I'd ask." I said. I walked towards the kitchen and asked, "Would you like something to eat? I've got some apples, grapes, pears, oranges, jerky." Upon opening the fridge, I realized I only had about half of what I said. "Scratch the pears, oranges and apples. But I've got the grapes and jerky." Kura came into the kitchen and looked in the fridge too. She took a grape from the bag and plopped it into her mouth. Her eyes widen at the sweet taste of the grape. She grabs the whole bag and runs upstairs. "Hey! You're not eating all of those, are you?!" I yell. A moment later I hear the slamming shut of my bedroom door. I sigh and take the jerky. I get down to about five pieces left before I hear a scratching and whining noise coming from my room. I go up the stairs and open my bedroom door. The sight before me made me laugh. Kura was sitting down with the bag of grapes (Which is now empty) between her legs, and pouting. "The bag's not bottomless. But if your still hungry, eat these." I hand her the jerky. She takes one out, sniffs it, and nibbles on it. She then takes the rest out and devours them. She jumps up and gives me another one of her air depriving hugs.

When she finished chewing the jerky she says, "Thank you! That was... The most delicious... thing I've ever had! What... What were those?!"

"Well, the first bag was called grapes. And then the second was the jerky." I explained.

"Do you have more?" She asked.

"Nope. That was the last of it. But Kura, what I want to do is find out why your here." I said.

"You brought... me here. Or do you mean... This planet?" She asked.

"Planet. I know that you came here though something... But I don't know what. Maybe it was some sort of portal. I honestly don't know. But we may need help. The only problem with that is, if the wrong guy comes, then you may end up with you guts outside of you." Kura gave me a questionable look. I bent down to eye level. "I've said before that Pokemon here are fictional. That means Humans here aren't used to seeing a Pokemon in real life. Humans here, they could kill you if they saw you. Your lucky I was the first one to see you." Honestly, I don't know why I helped her. I guess it was fate.

Kura's P.O.V.

"Humans back... home kill pokemon too. Not... just for... fun tho." I say. Looking into Steven's deep blue eyes. It's like I'm lost in them... No! I can't think like that! It's illegal for Humans and pokemon to mate! But wait... this isn't my world. There are no laws for pokemon! With that thought, I lounge myself onto Stevens lips, causing him to fall onto his back. Kissing them like there was no Earth to be. To my surprise, he kissed back. He was the first to pull away, so I put on my cute Riolu face.

"Kura... I had no idea you felt like that..." Steven said in shock.

"I didn't know... you did... either." I replied.

Steven laughed at that and pulled me in for a short and quick kiss. "Alright. Tomorrow, we get help from a professional. I love you. And I won't let anything happen to you."

I smile and say. "I love you too. And you'd better... otherwise I'm gonna... come back from... the grave and... haunt you." I say jokingly. Although it is a well known fact that pokemon do have spirits. But Steven's face told me he didn't know. "It's a joke." I said. Steven sighed and smiled. He closed his eyes, probably lost in thought now. I laid my head down on his chest and closed my eyes too.

Okay, sorry for not uploading for two weeks, but I've just not been in the writing mood. So I finally bucked up and wrote this for you guys. Yup. Kura and Steven admit their love, tomorrow (In the story) they seek professional help of whatever field of science this conundrum is, and some other crazy jaz happens later in the series. Stay tuned, for I will not be as lazy as I have been this past two weeks!
