#13 of We can Coincide

Now, all we have to do is wait for the night.

Today is the big day! I silently thought in my head as I sheepishly rubbed my eyes giving the early morning light a better chance. I quickly looked over at Lu, and was slightly surprised he was still fast asleep, typically he would be up like an hour before me. Well, I guess you'll need all the rest you can get, we have a long day ahead.

His furry arm wrapped around my stomach, as he did every single night. I was torn between risking waking him up in order to make us some breakfast, or to just lie there and wait for him to wake up naturally.

Well, I'll have an excuse in case I wake him up. With my mind now made up, I very, very carefully moved his arm to his side, and rolled out of bed trying not to shift the weight of the mattress too much. I took a second to make sure he didn't wake up, and sure enough he was still breathing peacefully, and what looked like a small smile on his face. Just sharing the same bed with him was enough to make me happy for the rest of my life, but seeing him sharing my feelings only made things that much better. But I guess we'll be setting that in stone later today anyway.

With nothing on but my nightgown, I made my way downstairs using the rising sun's brilliant morning rays to guide me. After a few slow steps, I finally made it into our kitchen, and already knew what I was going to prepare. Lu's two favorite foods in the world were berries, and chocolate. I quickly popped the fridge door open, and grabbed a small container of berries Harry would bring over every once in awhile. No idea why he had berry bushes, but he always seemed to have a stash of the little things.

I poured about half of the container worth of berries into a small bowl, and decided to throw a small chocolate bar on top just to spice up his taste buds. After only a minute of preparation, I was ready to present my gifts.

Within a few seconds, I was already back upstairs and creeping back into the bedroom. Luckily for me though, he was still breathing slowly, and rotated onto his back, allowing me to get closer to him. I placed the bowl on his stomach, and slowly bent down and kissed him on his muzzle to wake him up.

His eyes opened up to life, leaving a little glow in the dimly lit room. Following up with my kiss I said, "morning dear."

He let out a quick yelp of a yawn and replied, "good morning."

I slid the bowl a little bit towards him, "good indeed mister, I brought you some breakfast."

His eyes lit up as he sat up in bed and noticed the little meal I brought to him. But to my surprise, he moved the bowl over and patted his lap, motioning for me to climb on. I of course happily accepted, and pretty soon found myself with my back up against Lu's chest.

"Hmm... ready for our big day Lu?"

He lifted the bowl back up onto my lap and replied, "been dreaming about it."

"Heh, you were smiling in your sleep."

He let out a soft sigh and gave me a light kiss on the back of my neck, "you know things are just perfect when I can't even sleep without dreaming about you."

Well, glad to know I'm not the only one here. But before my thoughts were carried away, he already had a paw full of berries and carefully brought them to his face. And I swear, he didn't even chew, he more of just sucked them down. "Sorry I didn't cook anything special our wedding breakfast."

"Breakfast in bed is already more than I can ask for. Why don't you have some?"

However, he didn't give me time to respond, instead he just cupped up some berries, and gently fed them to me in a rather romantic way. Typically I wasn't a huge fan of real organic food, but for some reason him feeding them to me just made the whole taste level rise by several lengthes.

This however, wasn't going unchallenged. I grabbed the chocolate bar out of the bowl and quickly unwrapped it, and tossed the wrapper aside.

He let out a slight laugh, "ah man, you know me too well." And to help boost my own plan, his tail slowly slid back and forth on the bed.

"Are you wagging your tail over me, or the chocolate?"

That sparked him to wrap his arms around me, and he gently dropped his head onto my shoulder. "Nothing quite like having the love of your life sitting on top of you in bed with my favorite treat in her hands."

You're too cute!

I swung around on his lap, so my legs were resting on the bed, but I could easily turn my head to face him. Then, a slightly devilish plan built up inside my head, "well maybe I want it for myself."

I took one end of the bar, and bit down on it, leaving the bar hovering in the air. He let out a little grin, and took my bait. His mouth wrapped around the other end, and he quickly moved his way up the bar, and bit the bar in half causing our lips to smash together. The taste of sweet chocolate, and Lu's saliva tasted absolutely amazing together. And hell, if he could do this with cake, I could do it with a chocolate bar.

He let out a low growl as our heads smacked together while we were lost in the chocolate kiss. The only thing that forced us to stop, was my phone ringing on the nightstand by my side of the bed. I very reluctantly pulled off of his lips, and wiped my mouth clean with my nightgown. And within a second I jumped over the bed, and grabbed my phone while standing back up on the floor.

As I pressed the answer button, a little chuckle erupted from Lu over my fish like act. Ah damn... you win this one.

"Hello?"

Probably should of checked who was calling first, but who cares.

"Sarah! are you doing okay, how's Lu doing? Is everything alright?"

"Ugh, calm down dad it's like seven in the morning, everything is okay."

Lu climbed out of bed, and was soon standing next to me. I put the phone on speaker and just let my arm fall limp.

"You guys have everything you need?"

"As for as clothing goes yeah we are set."

Lu pitifully added on, "I don't want to wear this stupid suit."

This caused my dad to break out in laughter, something I hadn't heard him do in years. "Don't worry Lu, I tried to get married in shorts, but of course that wouldn't of ended well. I bet you'll never see Sarah wear a dress again in her entire life time. Hell she hates dressing in anything that goes past her knees."

I looked down at myself, and realized he was completely correct. The only time I ever even wore pants was outside in the winter time. Other than that, pure shorts.

However Lu brought up an interesting question, "how do you feel about having a Lucario as a son-in-law?"

"I'll just come out and be honest, I think it's pretty awesome. Hell, for everything you've done for Sarah I'm more than honored to be able to call you my son."

His voice started to become a little shaky, "you know, I was really worried for her before you came along. But the night after you guys shared the same bed really changed her. I saw this relationship coming the moment you two were stuck in the hospital together. The way the two of you held each other was only the sign of the deepest love, one that I found hard to believe."

It was obvious he was starting to cry, and he had me going as well. Lu sat down on the bed, and pulled me onto him. Even he seemed slightly winded from the raw emotion. My dad continued, even though he was rather unstable. "But look at it now... sharing the same house... a father can really sleep well at night knowing his daughter is resting in the best hands possible, err, paws, you know what I mean."

His own choice of words caused me and Lu to laugh a little bit, considering it was kinda odd to change up the sentence structure. "Well you guys may want to show up to the pavilion early, I'll be helping set things up. So I'll see you both then."

I was about to just simply say bye, but Lu's emotions took the best of him. A small tear rolled off of his face and landed on my shoulder. He spoke out, "see you then... dad."

My dad audibly choked on his own set of tears, "bye," and hung up.

Lu's grip on me tightened, "I love you so... so much Sarah."

I grabbed his arms with my hands, my own emotions were tugging at the back of my throat. "Well, hope you're ready to kiss the bride."

He picked me up and turned me to allow me to face him once again. "Oh trust me, I'm ready. All I dreamed about last night was this marriage, the entire time I just couldn't help but feel true happiness. There is no other way I'd want to spend the rest of my life but with you."

"Oh man, I love you." I leaned in towards him and locked my lips with his.

This kiss finally stopped the whole emotional roller coaster we were both riding, and it also brought that whole level of ecstasy that just made the room feel humid. But yet again, every kiss felt better than the last.

When we both finally calmed down, we let our lips go and both of our emotions were now back to a normal level. He opened up first by saying, "I don't want to sound like a pervert or anything, but I can't wait for tonight."

I giggled softly, "what's so perverted about that?"

He let off an enticing smirk, "sorry, I forgot you were dreaming about that."

Oh come on why is he so good with these counter arguments! I stammered out, "I... that's... that's not everything!"

His grip around me tightened slightly giving me a solid apology for the teasing. "If it makes you feel better, I was having a pretty erotic dream too."

"Heh, well today Lu, I think all of our dreams will come true."

"Speaking of today, we should probably get dressed."

His words caused me to be a little bit more self conscious and also made me realize I practically ignored my dad's words to show up early. I quickly responded, "good call," and quickly hopped off of his lap landing on my feet.

He wasn't far behind me, and was already up at my side before I even took one step. I still never really understood how he could keep up his amazing speed and tone muscles so well considering he spent his past five years of life doing nothing but keeping me happy.

We reached the closet and opening the doors revealed our wedding apparel packed away neatly. The sight of the fancy clothing caused us both to groan out in unison, both equally displeased with having to get all fancy for just a few hours. But we both knew it was completely worth it.

"Well Lu, we should probably get you dressed first, not sure me having a dress on first will help us out."

He dropped his head to the ground, "I'm so pitiful."

I grabbed his pair of custom dress pants out of the closet, and quickly turned to him. His eyes met mine, and I saw a slight look of distress. "Lu, I'm just happy you actually went along with getting into these clothes. It's not a big deal that you can't put a pair of pants on."

Luckily he laughed, "world's first Lucario to wear clothing right here."

His own enjoyment of the situation brought a smile of relief to my face. I bent down in front of him, and spread the pants open to allow him to stick a leg in. He took the notion and practically jumped in making the whole process slightly easier. I stretched the material out allowing more room for his feet, and quickly pulled his pants up to his waist.

Alright, that wasn't so bad. Sealing the deal, I quickly latched the first button over his groin area, carefully zipped up the zipper, and sealed the final button. Luckily I didn't catch any fur, or worse in the zipper.

He stretched his legs out a little bit and spoke up, "I see why you hate pants now, this is just silly."

I stepped back and giggled slightly, he looked absolutely adorable half dressed up. "You look great already Lu."

"Well if you're happy with it, then that's already good enough for me."

For his top pieces, we chose an easier route. We just chose a simple dress jacket, with a vest like tuxedo to get the full look of a suit without the hassle of all the straps and fifty buttons. I grabbed the vest first, and brought it over to Lu ready to get the three step process over with. His wagging tail gave me the okay to start sign, and within a few seconds he slipped into the vest with ease. His amazing body size made the fitting rather easy.

The jacket came next, and his arms fit inside with ease, man these tailors really know what they are doing. I fastened a few buttons together, leaving his upper chest area in an open V-shape exposing the white vest. The whole gimmick worked out surprisingly well, and it actually looked like he was wearing a complicated suit.

He paced around the room getting used to the new clothing, "you know what? This isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be." Those words were followed up by a very sweet hug lifting me up in the air followed by a very relaxing kiss.

I was in the air for a good ten seconds before he finally let me down. "Well sir, you look really handsome in that suit."

"Well let's see you all dressed up Missy."

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot."

His eyes widened slightly, "what?"

I turned around in the closet, grabbed his bow-tie, and quickly turned around to face him once again. As I tied it around his neck I spoke out, "almost forgot the tie."

He brought his paws up to the tie and fiddled around with it getting it into a more comfortable spot. When he finished, he seemed quite satisfied with the whole situation.

Now it was my turn to get into the whole fancy business. Wasting no time, I pulled the dress out of the closet, threw it on the bed, and quickly undressed from my nightgown, leaving my completely exposed in front of Lu's loving eyes. Him seeing me naked has become a rather common event even out of the shower.

But of course Lu made a snappy comment, "you can stay like that if you want dear."

Oh come on, I'm not losing to you anymore! "Well you can just stay in that suit then."

He chuckled lightly to himself, and sat down on the bed next to my dress propping it up for me to grab. "Just messing with ya."

I couldn't help but giggle over the little game we made, "yeah, I don't really feel like washing double the amount anyways."

Within a minute or so, I was fully dressed up, sitting next to Lu on the bed. We finally fit the picture of a ready to be married couple. The whole event wasn't exactly going to be very big considering Lu didn't really have family to attend. So that basically dropped the size of the wedding to only thirty people.

I stood up from the bed, and wobbled around slightly in my pair of one inch heels. This was literally the first time I had ever worn any fancy clothing, and definitely was the first time clothing went past my ankles.

Lu laughed at my own unsteadiness and quickly joined me on his own two feet. He quickly picked me up, and was careful not to wrinkle my dress up too badly. We peered deeply into each other's eyes until he spoke up while taking a few steps, "you my dear, look absolutely amazing."

His words put a little fire into my belly, reminding me once more just how amazing my life is. I'm getting married to the love of my life, who is my sole purpose in waking up each morning. He, who is equally in love with me, only makes things that much sweeter. And now, we could finally set that in stone.

The bedroom door creaked open as we made our way downstairs, giving the sound of no return. I leaned in towards him, and gave him a small kiss on the cheek while saying, "oh yeah Lu, we have to get Harry."

He chuckled, "can't believe he's our best man."

Lu quickly opened the front door, stepped out, made sure no clothing was going to be caught in the door, and swiftly shut the door. "Well I don't really have that many male friends. You honestly are like the only guy I ever got along well with."

We made our way across our driveway and onto the sidewalk leading next door to Harry's house. Lu replied as we approached the house, "I'm not a lady killer either, I just waited for the right one to find me."

I smiled over his little analogy. Really, I guess he did find the right one. Five years together basically just proves our extreme devotion to make this whole thing work. He knocked on the door, and made a little flirtatious comment, "you know how Lucario mating works?"

What is he trying to say? I took the bait and responded, "not really."

He lifted me up towards him a little more, bringing our faces only inches apart. His breath escaped his lips in a very attractive manner, "we mate for life."

There was no time to respond with words, instead we interlocked our lips to let our bodies do the speaking. We kept this going until the door finally popped open and we finally broke our contact leaving us both out of breath.

I turned my head to the door and was actually surprised by harry's appearance. He was in a complete tuxedo, and looked like he was preparing for this for years.

Lu spoke up in a joking matter, "hey Harry, you actually got dressed for once!"

He stepped outside and closed shut his door. "Whoa, yer actually wearing clothes? Never thought I'd see da' day a Pokemon wore clothing. Heh, let alone human and Pokemon getting this intimate."

I decided to keep the whole joking manner, "never thought I would see a wild Harry looking appropriately dressed."

Harry laughed over the joke, "well ma'am I didn't want to represent ya'll badly."

Lu then brought up a more serious topic, "you have our rings right?"

Man, he thought of that quicker than I did. Hell he seems even more thrilled about this wedding than I do. But yet again I'm pretty shy.

Luckily Harry responded by pulling the boxes out of his pocket.

I breathed a sigh of relief and Lu's posture relaxed.

"Trust me, I ain't screwing things up for ya'll."

I pressed further on his homework, "you have a best man's speech ready?"

To my surprise he tapped his head, "I've got plenty to say."

Lu was practically bouncing on his feet, "that's solid enough for me, shall we get moving?"

We didn't reply, but instead started to make our way to the outdoor pavilion where the ceremony would be going down at.

I decided to ask, "what's got you all energized Lu?"

He had a giant grin on his face, and seemed like the most proud man in the world. "I'm carrying my stunningly beautiful partner in my arms. Also knowing I get to spend the rest of my life with this woman just puts a spring in my step you know?"

"Heh, well I would be pretty springy too if I could actually walk properly."

Harry just watched on as me and Lu exchanged little kisses as he carried me lovingly down the side walk. I felt slightly bad for Harry, but hey, he knew exactly what he was getting into. And he never spoke, only smiled on-wards as I enjoyed my effortless walk in the arms of Lu.

About ten minutes of walking passed when we reached a more central part of town, that exposed the pavilion in a rather gorgeous cut out of land that looked like a small park. My heart beat steadily climbed as we approached the area, as well as the early guests. But surprisingly, Lu kept strong and showed no sign of anything but happiness. His own reaction put me at ease and reminded me that this day was dedicated for us.

But before we fully reached the site, my dad ran over to us looking ecstatic. "My god, you two look absolutely amazing!"

Hearing my dad get excited was a whole new side of him I had never experienced. "Well we aren't really thrilled being dressed up like this." Lu lowered me to the floor, allowing the conversation to flow more easily. I took one careful step to prove my point, "I can't even walk in these things!"

Lu quickly grabbed me to stop my wobbly posture, saving me from some embarrassment. That didn't however stop my dad from laughing at my whole fish out of water walking. "And I'm guessing this is Harry?"

Harry walked past us, and shook my father's hand, "yes sir, it's an honor."

Lu waited for the greeting to end before speaking, "is everyone... you know... alright with me wedding your daughter?"

I was about to speak up for him, but my dad walked over and gently placed his hand on Lu's shoulder. "If Sarah is happy with it, which I can easily tell she is, then that's all that matters. Plus no one would of came otherwise if they didn't want to see you two become officially bonded. Everyone here already knew about your relationship years ago."

"Whoa, wait a minute... everyone knew?"

He retracted his hand, and placed them in his pockets. "Yeah, your mother wasn't very good at keeping things private."

Oh is that why she took pictures of us sleeping? That explains that whole mystery...

Lu dropped his paw from my side, down to my hand and quickly gripped it. "Well Sarah, I think we should mingle around with your family then."

My dad pulled Harry aside giving us the pathway to the guests. Hey, I guess this gives me a chance to learn how to walk properly.

We did exactly that. We greeted every arriving guest, and made small talk with literally everyone trying to run the clock out until it was time. What surprised me the most was the outstanding support from everyone supporting Lu in taking me as his wife. Hell, my uncle really seemed to like the fact we were about to have a Pokemon officially in the family tree. And Lu couldn't of acted more proud of being accepted by everyone, but honestly he was proud because of me. His compassion and affection for me was so much more than I could of possibly asked for.

The amount of people was right around the number I predicted of thirty. Hell, we didn't even have food or drink really proposed, and to be completely honest we just wanted to get home and enjoy ourselves together.

Noon hour finally approached marking the beginning of the whole ceremony. Everyone took their seats, and Harry stood up from the front row. Lu and I were standing inside the pavilion prepared to watch him make a fool of himself, but he seemed oddly comfortable.

He cleared his throat, and everyone's eyes were focused on him. "Well I ain't a good public speaker but I still have a few words to say." Oh great way to start by saying you aren't good at speaking!

Lu shared the same emotion with me and tightened his grip on my hand as if it was a stress ball. "I've only know Lu and Sarah fer' about a year, but in that short amount of time I was blessed to get to know them a little bit better. Well I'm just gonna cut to the chase here rather then write ya'll a story." Several members of my family laughed, which put me at ease along with Lu.

"When Sarah's mother passed away, Lu... he was as solid as a wall for her. I mean the guy literally didn't even come outside for like a week, instead he stayed with her the entire time making sure she was going to be alright. These two are practically stuck like glue to the point I have never once seen them split up. Really, if these two aren't right to be married then I don't know who is."

Harry took his seat, and left me completely shocked. My entire family broke out in applause over the speech, and rightfully so. Lu noticed just how motionless that speech left me, and quickly embraced me to help share the emotional load. He whispered into my ear, "everything is turning out quite well hun', just remember that I love you."

A single tear rolled down my face, but Lu quickly intercepted it with a quick swipe of his paw. "I love you too Lu."

He was about to speak up, but I spotted the pastor slowly making his way past the aisles to get things rolling.

Lu and I faced each other holding each other's hands while the Pastor went on with his whole speech like every Pastor does. It was slightly surprising he didn't really react to Lu in anyway, instead he acted like business as usual.

After a few minutes, we finally hit the wedding vow, and oh man was my heart beating feeling the presence of my entire family staring us down. Lu powered through though, "I uhh... Lucario take you Sarah to be my one true love for the rest of my life." Tears started to ball up in my eyes but I forced myself not to cry. "Every day is a new adventure, one that I want to share with you. Whatever obstacles you may face in life, I'll be there to face them too. I promise I will comfort and encourage you, laugh and cry with you for eternity."

My god Lu, you really... really know what you're doing.

His beautiful crimson eyes pierced right through my soul, but it gave me the courage to speak. "And I, Sarah take you Lu to be my partner for as long as this Earth allows me too. No matter what happens, I'll always be with you through the good and bad days. But even the bad days are still a blessing to be had with you. I won't be able to move on in life, unless you're there with me."

We didn't even give the Pastor time to speak, we practically lunged at each other and locked our lips together. I closed my eyes letting the world fade away, the only thing I was focused on at this point was Lu.
