This has been a long time coming I have been working on this for a few months on alternate idea for the hero. The image is MagLobo on FA http://www.furaffinity.net/user/magolobo and there will be more or this at some point. Like some writers I have a kind of ADHD where it comes to where I will go next. This same story will be posted with a different picture by the same artist I commissioned. I love fantasy in all its forms, mixed with science fiction and horror when possible which is kind of where the superhero genre is for me, a kind of science fantasy about folks with god like abilities in the modern day. But in any case I wish the best all the viewing pleasures of reading this piece.

Boardwalk Brawl

On the second story balcony of a Star Box quality quick serve restaurant and café a large russet furred grizzly bear enjoys a bacon cheeseburger, fries and some lime soda as he looks out towards the Atlantic with the boardwalk in Tempest, New Jersey below him. Further in is the drink kiosk serving Undeniably Flavorful Objects and the stairs leading downstairs into the main of the restaurant. The main of the meal, as it is, is served in a colorful cardboard box that has a decidedly retro sci-fi theme to it as does the restaurant itself which features stand ups and posters of the old Buster Crabbe serials for Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon as well as other sci-fi serials and B movies from yesteryear like This Island Earth.

Besides Ogre Bear, one of the few local super heroes in the area that actually lives in Tempest, albeit in the Storm Castle which was a staging area for the Atlantean invasion some years back, he is right now the only mutant on the second floor of the boardwalk Star Box situated between 10thand 12th streets open to the boardwalk itself as its main entrance. It's about noon on a beautiful sunny July day as kids of all ages eat their meals restlessly and many of them yell and wave to the monster hero to get his attention while their parents frantically try to get them to concentrate on their lunches. Ogre Bear is dressed in a pair of green shorts with a shark swimming through them and a pair of sandals as his attire as he tries to eat his deluxe moon burger in peace.

He knows he can't blame the kids for being as rambunctious as they are, and even if were to wear his usual attire of a Halloween themed professional wrestler vest, pants, elbow pads, knee pads and boots with a Jack-O-Lantern luchador mask, there is no way he could be confused for a large human at this close proximity. So, Michael "Ogre Bear" O'Connor just sits, plays with his moss green hair a little and tries to just enjoy his meal as best he can. And then the blonde shows up.

Gloria Goldenhart, better known as the ultra-rich gadget using lady super hero Golden Girl, walks up the stairs with her own star box and paper cup with some annoyance as she selects pip-pop with orange from the kiosk and looks for a place to sit. There is seating for roughly a hundred people up here which is relatively private but all the tables are occupied with families and the only other place to sit is with Ogre Bear. Without asking permission she glares at Mike and takes a seat.

"Ogre Bear," Golden Girl says with some annoyance as she sits across from the bear. "Is it always this crowded?"

"You got here during the noontime rush," Ogre Bear admits readily. "Get here an hour earlier or later and it's not as crowded."

"How do you..." She looks around and realizes that there are more potential eavesdroppers than she is comfortable with and rummages through her purse.

"People in ivory towers..." Michael quips that draws an angry glare from Gloria but a chorus of snickers from the adults and the older teenagers in the room.

"Well look who decided to slum it with us commoners!" A pink rabbit woman quips as she puts her box down next to Mike's and then goes to the kiosk all in less time than it takes to blink once.

"What is she doing here?" Golden Girl growls. "Running Gun-Bunny has one of the worst mouths."

"I'd advise you to shut yours on THAT matter," Ogre Bear warns with a glare of his own. "I didn't have a lot of folks believing in my change of heart, especially you, Wendy took the chance and while she is not always the most stable ally, I know I can count on her loyalty."

"I don't like what you're implying, Ogre Bear." Golden Girl growls.

"You can always leave." Ogre Bear suggests with a hard stare. "I don't need you here, I did not ask for you to come here and you certainly could have chosen to take whatever you ordered back to whatever accommodations you have here in Tempest and not mingle with us 'eaters' as your kind likes to refer to us." Golden Girl breathes in to offer a retort when Mike holds up his hand. "I worked for your own uncle, the Banker, before turning state's evidence. I know how some of you think of those that toil so that the higher ups can rake in the cash regardless of how those under them suffer." Gloria just looks away in disgust but also more than a little bit of shame as it suddenly gets very quiet on the second floor. "He was very good friends with the Rogue Scholar..."

"I am well aware of the sins of my family, thank you very much." Gloria says angrily and grabs her own lunchbox as a prelude to leaving. "I am on the oversight committee of the Masters of Justice."

"Don't threaten me, Goldilocks," Mike growls. "I do just fine as a commissioned vigilante. I find no courtesy in the application filed on my behalf after I helped drive King Dagon back to Atlantis. Some of your own bylaws are so contradictory it's a wonder you manage to do as much good as you do."

"Good day, Ogre Bear," Golden Girl growls and leaves in a huff.

"Mommy," a little girl asks of her mother, "Why is Golden Girl acting so prissy? I thought she was one of the good people?"

"Hush little one," her mother says to try and quiet her.

"Yeah, momma, she's acting like a bitch!" a little boy cries out and the same woman gives him a slap across the face.

"Watch your language, young man," the mother growls as Gloria hangs her head in shame as she leaves and Wendy "Running Gun-Bunny" McDonald comes back to the table with Ogre Bear.

"Not one word, Bunny," Ogre Bear growls as Running Gun-Bunny pulls out a huge salad. "I hate it when the Masters of Justice come to town." She just hugs the big lug and gives him a kiss. "I never asked for this life. But I do what I can to use my abilities responsibly."

"I know, I know," Gun-Bunny says softly as she rubs herself against him to comfort him. "I heard from Spider Goat and Bird Dog recently. They're in favor of that project we talked about."

"Outta my way, blondie!" A rough voice calls from below.

"Watch where you're going, oaf!" Gloria screams. "Go about your business or I swear!"

"Oh, great," Mike sighs sarcastically, "That's just what I need, a fight with Slobberknocker."

"Knock him into next week," Gun-Bunny suggests. "Just make sure you don't throw him into the window on the first floor."

"Watch my food, please," Mike asks with a smirk. "I think I'll get some extra exercise." He easily vaults down to the boardwalk as kids crowd the balcony to watch him walk up to a giant of a man in overalls and a NASCAR baseball cap on his head who is currently towering over Golden Girl as Ogre Bear bellows. "Hey, Slobberknocker! Why don't you try picking on someone your own size, you big bully!"

"Ogre Bear!" Slobberknocker yells gleefully. "Just the freak I was hoping to knock into next week!"

"Well, I suppose there's a first time for everything." Ogre Bear retorts. "What's the tally between us again? 25:0 my favor?"

"You keep cheating, you furry freak!" Slobberknocker bellows, "There's no way a lesser being like you could ever beat a pure blooded Aryan superman like me in a fair fight."

"The redneck skinhead ubermensch is a little short of his hype," Ogre Bear says sarcastically to try and goad the other man into doing something stupid. "And to think there was a time when my nose was out of joint when the Rogue Scholar chose you as the main muscle on a job."

"Rogue Scholar is a smart man!" Slobberknocker boasts. "Why use a mongrel like you when I was available?"

"Is he...?" Golden Girl starts to ask of Gun-Bunny as she looks up at the speedster rabbit.

"Uh-huh!" Running Gun-Bunny replies and then calls Goldie on her cell phone. "I'm saying this on the phone since I know we have a secure line but Mike was the Rogue Scholar's usual first choice because, unlike Slobberknocker, Ogre Bear has been known to use his head for something other than a hat rack. Now granted, with your technical know-how, you're probably of a higher intellect than the bear but part of the reason he was so successful in the squared circle as well as in the metahuman arena is because Michael has enough sense to approach some things tactically."

"Whereas Slobberknocker is your typical bruiser?" Golden Girl asks.

"Exactly," Gun-Bunny says in agreement.

"Well, speak of the devil!" Slobberknocker as the horn sound of the General Lee from the original Dukes of Hazard blares and the redneck skinhead superman takes a look at who it is and recognizes it as the Rogue Scholar calling and answers: "Yo, boss! What's up?"

"Kill him," an electronic voice on the other end orders. "I still have that bounty set up."

"With pleasure!" Slobberknocker hollers and then puts the phone back in his pocket. "Payday's a comin!"

"Not today," Ogre Bear promises as Slobberknocker picks a bike that a kid is riding on to smack the bear with. "Oh, no you don't!" He then punches Slobberknocker in the face hard enough to make him drop the bike. "Grab you bike and get out of her, kid, it's gonna get ugly." The teenager just nods and high tails it out of the area as Ogre Bear throws Slobberknocker onto the beach. "Let's take this where collateral damage can be kept to a minimum shall we?"

"I'll pound you into the sand, boy!" Slobberknocker promises at full volume.

"Say it; don't spray it, little boy!" Ogre Bear challenges in a taunt to get Slobberknocker off his game.

Slobberknocker roars his frustration and goes to hit Ogre Bear with a surprise haymaker as a kind of sucker punch. As usual his idea of tactics is a playbook that the ex-wrestler has read as many times and can counter as easily as breathing to avoid inhaling smoke. Ogre Bear sidesteps the punch at the last minute and counters with a quick punch to Slobberknocker's breadbasket which causes him to double over in pain.

Ogre Bear follows up his initial assault by grabbing Slobberknocker by the shoulder and slamming him into the sand at full force. Much to Mike's surprise, Slobberknocker being slammed into the sand creates a depression as he breaks through into a tunnel system that looks like it was dug sometime around the Atlantean invasion. Running Gun-Bunny immediately runs down to see what is going on as Ogre Bear jumps down.

As soon as he hits the ground, Slobberknocker goes running off towards Arena Pier where he knows there is an underground gladiator area. Ogre Bear knows it too well as well as he would sometimes fight there himself. Running Gun-Bunny stares about wild eyed as she had no idea this was here as Golden Girl calls the police and the military in roughly that order.

"And where does he think he's going?" Wendy asks of Mike regarding Slobberknocker's retreat.

"The Blood Beach Arena," Michael says in response. "It's an underground gladiatorial arena underneath Arena Pier."

"You shitting me," Wendy says with some concern in her voice. "Please tell me you're shitting me." Mike just shakes his head solemnly. "Is this one of these things you did when you were still a villain that you haven't told us about because we haven't asked?" Mike smiles dangerously and nods but says nothing. "OK, gimme the 411."

"Not much to report really," Mike admits with a shrug of his shoulders. "There are pay per view events weekly where guys and girls beat the living crap out of each other. No holds barred and the winner gets to do whatever he or she pleases with the loser."

"Just villains or is this where I heard some heroes got kidnapped to and were beaten to death?" Wendy asks in all seriously.

"Why do you think American Amazon is the way she is in my presence?" Mike says.

"You fucked her?" Wendy asks to which Mike just nods. "She comes out here to be fucked by you from time to time. I know that much."

"She likes it rough sometimes," Mike admits. "I beat her senseless and raped her on camera but did not kill her. She was regenerating when I took her and she apparently enjoyed it somewhat."

"You got that right," Wendy teases to which Mike gives her an inquisitive look. "We girls do talk shop and compare notes."

"Why does that not surprise me?" Michael says with a smirk.

"You goin' after 'em?" Wendy asks.

"I should," Mike admits freely. "But I don't feel like it, right now, right this second. So unless somebody orders it, I'm going to let the redneck skinhead superman get away, for now at least."

"Especially since guys like him are EXACTLY like a bad penny." Wendy states and is only half-joking.

"Exactly," Michael says and then exhales an exasperated sigh. "Right now, I want to finish my star box lunch."

"Why they don't hire you to do some promotions is beyond me." Wendy says with a giggle although she is quite serious about the statement.

Mike and Wendy go in and do a kind of impromptu photo shoot after the excitement and of course the local media is on hand as soon as they get out of the hold and wanting an interview. Ogre Bear is not exactly opposed, however he does insist on eating lunch as they do so. Joan Hostel orders her own meal and joins him on the balcony as Golden Girl and Running Gun Bunny stand off to the side and watch.

Gloria gets another phone call from the headquarters of the Masters of Justice and this time it's Captain Industry who wants to know what the problem is in Tempest. Golden Girl is tempted to say something nasty when two more humanimals happen by, one is a German shepherd with condor wings and the other is a goat woman in a spider themed costume, and she tells Captain Industry that the Slobberknocker is on the loose but Ogre Bear now has reinforcements. Bird Dog and Spider Goat both have star box lunches and sit with Running Gun Bunny as they wait for Ogre Bear's interview to be over.

'So," Joan asks pointedly of Ogre Bear, "How soon do you expect another challenge from Slobberknocker, Ogre Bear?"

"Good question, Joan," Mike says with a smirk as he finishes his drink and as a prank, no sooner had he taken his hand off the cup, Wendy had run in, snatched it and went to get him a refill, "Slobberknocker will probably realize that I didn't follow him in about another five to ten minutes from now and will be coming to fetch me. He's not the brightest bulb on the tree if you know what I mean."

"I think I do," Joan says with forced seriousness even if Gloria is doing all she can to not guffaw at his joke. "Can you speculate on what he is doing here?"

"Not especially," Mike answers honestly. "This is a vacation spot. Now granted guys like him have a nasty idea on what constitutes a nice vacation and it usually involves a lot of collateral damage. And that's when some of them are in a good mood or, like Slobberknocker, have a few days to kill and can't think of anything less destructive to do with themselves."

"Excuse me," Joan says as she dashes off for the bathroom and Gloria joins her for a laugh off. Joan looks to Gloria and asks. "I was on the verge of losing my composure. You fought him when he was a villain, didn't you, Gloria?"

"Once or twice," Gloria admits. "He would often crack jokes in combat. Concentrating on kick his ass was the key to beating him. Later we would watch the tapes and laugh but in the heat of a fight, it got real annoying, real fast."

"I can imagine," Joan says as she dabs her eyes. "I'm glad he's now pulling in a salary for being a hero."

"Yeah, he is getting well paid," Gloria admits. "Captain Industry balks at how much, but he earns every freaking penny."

"So," Joan inquires, "What are you doing in Tempest?"

"Checking up on Ogre Bear, honestly," Gloria says matter-of-factly. "Captain Industry wants an accounting. From what I can see here, I'm actually wasting my time. But that's off the record."

"He's been keeping things pretty quiet really," Joan admits. "Heck, when he does have a major fight it's news but those have been few and far between."

"Really?" Gloria asks. "The reports have him being action at least once a week."

"And twice on Sundays," Joan jokes. "There is always something coming up. But a lot of it is minor villains trying to make a name for themselves by taking out the traitor. It's news but we only put it on the front page if nothing bigger is available. Not that any of it is back page material mind you, it's just that it happens so often..."

"So gangs of second stringers coming into town to rumble with the big bear are actually commonplace now?" Gloria asks incredulously.

"Yeah, actually." Joan freely admits. "We're glad to have him here but it's gotten to be so regularly that he has to take out novices that it's almost a tourist attraction. Ogre Bear even made a song for us to play for when we make the daily chump report."

"Chump report?" Gloria asks incredulously. "Joan please tell me you are not seriously calling it that."

"Not my decision and you know it." Joan says with a smirk. "Besides the viewers just love it. From all the emails we get it's the part a lot of them tune in for."

"So when does the fun usually start?" A blonde haired, blue eyed woman asks as she comes out of the stall as Joan and Gloria stare at her in disbelief.

"And just what are you doing here, super slut?" Gloria growls at Brittany "Power Star" Rockefeller.

"Not to see you, golden shower queen," Brittany growls back. "I thought since I am in the running I'd see about getting to know some of the lesser members as Captain Industry suggested."

"Jonathan, I'm going to put your tender in a blender and hit purify," Gloria grumbles under her breath. "I know you have a sick sense of humor but this is your own daughter." Then with a fake smile she says to Brittany: "Did he now? How considerate of your father."

"I know!" The oblivious Power Star beams as the sarcasm in Gloria's voice goes completely over her pretty head. "This is one of the few times he's ever said something to me in a nice tone of voice."

If it wasn't for the fact the child of 18 superheroine would be able to see and ask why, Gloria would be banging her head against something until she made herself dizzy. Jonathan "Captain Industry" Rockefeller is a giant in the superhero arena with his creative mind creating countless devices to save the world over the years and garnering him countless trophy wives with scores of children because of it. Brittany is just one of those trust fund babies and in truth the only thing Jon actually cares about where his children are concerned is that they don't embarrass him with some scandal.

An idea strikes Gloria like a bolt of lightning; a sudden inspiration that germinates into a plan to scandalize Jonathan for his whims. Gloria knows Michael is a kind and gentle giant of a man despite what his past might indicate and out of all the men Brittany could have affairs with he is probably the only one that would treat her with more respect than she really deserves and knowing Power Star the genuine affection and attention Ogre Bear would lavish on her would be such a shock to the system it might actually prompt her to begin the road to being the responsible heroine she could be. Either that or she will become addicted to him and the scandal that an ex-villain like Mike could retain Brit as a significant other will garner the absolute wrong sort of attention to Jon's parenting style which would only be accentuated by the simple fact that he himself put the idea into that otherwise empty head of hers which will cause him to go on the warpath and yell at her for not intervening but it will be well worth it as far as she is concerned.

The only potential glitch as far as she can see is Wendy as the bunny can get very protective where Mike is concerned. Wendy was the first to accept Michael when he made the transition from villain to hero and that willingness to give him a second chance has paid dividends for her in spades. The little speedster will never openly admit it but she cares more for Mike than she leads on and Gloria has picked up on that with more than a little bit of amusement but therein lies the rub of the scenario she has in her mind regarding Brittany.

Wendy McDonald has made no secret of the fact that she despises Captain Industry which has carried over to his children, most of whom have gone on to become superheroes themselves. Although this rancor is often tempered by the fact that most of them have Captain Industry as a father which meant they almost had to raise themselves with no praise forthcoming from the brilliant inventor and only scorn for failures real or imagined. Brittany trying to do anything with Michael will paint a target symbol on her person from Wendy whether she knows it or not and the fact that all the Rockefellers consider Ogre Bear and the other human-animal hybrid heroes are lesser heroes as most of them come from backgrounds they consider beneath their august lineage does not help matters as Brit will dismiss Wendy's aspersions out of hand as coming from the little people she treats as if they should naturally defer her and Gloria as their obvious social superiors, an attitude that shames Gloria even thinking about it.

As the three humans walk out Gloria can feel the burning laser intensity of Wendy's glare and is tempted to look for cover in cases she decides to do something rash like draw her trademark plasma pistols. Gloria gives Wendy a fearful look that says "Please don't do anything stupid" as Joan is just looking between Gloria and Wendy as if confused as to what is going down.

Michael slips on a pair of elaborate fingerless gloves before grabbing Wendy by the thigh and whispering something in her ear. Wendy was going to try and phase out of Mike's grip as she has mastered that little speedster trick but his hand is firm and the glove allows him to hold onto her even if she tries to become insubstantial. Gloria breathes a sigh of relief that once again the faith Wendy had in him proves to well founded as he is willing to act like an adult and make sure the rabbit does not act like an overgrown and start shooting in a kind of temper tantrum.

Brittany for her part is completely oblivious as she saunters over to the table where the humanimals are situated in an overblown sex bomb manner. Teenagers just starting puberty are drooling in lust and a few other pre-teens have their puberty jump started a little early as Brittany is wearing a bikini that leaves little to the imagination in Patriotic colors. Parents are giving Power Star disapproving looks that she dismisses as they come from the unwashed masses she has been taught all her life are simply beneath her notice but she should project otherwise which in practiced means she does whatever she wants and lets the PR people daddy keeps on hand for just such emergencies to do the spin doctoring and damage control as she thinks up ways of avoiding her famous father until the storm passes and he forgets about the whole thing as he always does.

"What do you want, porn star?" Wendy inquires with barely attained civility.

"Hi, Ogre Bear!" Power Star beams as she completely ignores Running Gun-Bunny which only further infuriates her as she starts to phase through the chair she is sitting on with Ogre Bear's gloved hand still firmly affixed to her thigh. "Watcha doin?"

"Hello, Power Star," Ogre Bear says as he maintains his hold on Running Gun-Bunny as he gazes at Power Star with a look of pity and disappointment but is mindful of who her father is and what cost to him could be the price of incurring his wrath as he is careful not to be too condescending to the young and rising star before him. "I just had a rather entertaining lunch. A pity you missed the festivities earlier. I know you are well acquainted with the endowments of Slobberknocker. What can I do for you?"

"Slobberknocker is here?" Power Star asks with barely contained composure as the super villain once tried to make her his bride and her feelings in the matter were inconsequential as far as he was concerned, she was a paragon of Aryan ideals and thus the perfect female to bear his progeny; it was an encounter that gives her nightmares from time to time and the memory of that incident which is well known, if greatly suppressed outside of superhero circles, among the hero and villain communities and is a source of embarrassment for the whole Rockefeller clan. "How wonderful, maybe I can avenge the wrong he did me."

"Or maybe he could try again!" Running Gun-Bunny exclaims with great exuberance which draws dirty looks to her persons from all heroes present and with the withering stares felt from everyone; Ogre Bear's glare being the most important as he shakes his head, she makes herself smaller and droops her ears before making a retraction: "Or not."

"So what are the sleeping arrangements around here?" Power Star asks as she does her damndest to flat out ignore Running Gun-Bunny whose initial comment mortified her as the thought of getting raped and impregnated by Slobberknocker would be grounds for suicide in her own mind if her father would allow it and not just steal the fertilized embryo to be placed in the same artificial womb that brought her to term. "I'd like some accommodations in Storm Castle if that's alright." Running Gun-Bunny, who was inwardly gloating at the mental blow she had been able to strike against Power Star just a moment before, gives Ogre Bear a pleading look but is not about to say anything as Storm Castle, the fortress rig King Dagon built as a staging area for his assault on America and the site of the final battle between he and Ogre Bear which cemented his claim at turning a new leaf and thus garnering the structure as his own private home mere miles from the shore of Tempest, New Jersey, is officially his domicile and she dwells there at his suffering and while she enjoys sleeping with him as his unofficial girlfriend, Wendy will never go that far even if she is firmly interested in maintaining a friends with benefits relationship with Mike, and could easily take another room, the thought of her place being usurped for even a single evening by rich bitch deluxe is utterly abhorrent to her. "Daddy suggested I give it a try."

"I don't really see a problem," Ogre Bear says hesitantly as Gloria violently face palms behind Brittany's back and Wendy continues to give him sad puppy dog eyes to try and change his mind. "But you'll have to share space with the Gun-Bunny."

"That might be fun," Power Star says with forced congeniality as Ogre Bear just put her on notice that if she intends on sleeping with him, Running Gun-Bunny gets the option of joining in and while she is still figuring out her sexuality, lesbian cravings that are part of growing up and experimenting that every person goes through aside, the idea that she might be experimenting with the Bunny is not something she was prepared for and it shows in her face. Running Gun-Bunny suddenly gets a big grin on her face as she is thoroughly bi and the idea that she might get some quality time with Power Star and the fact that she is acting so iffy on the matter is inherently pleasing to the extreme to the bunny. "I am not exactly opposed to this although I suppose it could be a learning experience..."

Golden Girl is giggling as discreetly as she can and giving Ogre Bear her absolute approval as subtly as she can. Captain Industry is staunchly conservative and the very idea that his daughter would even entertain this sort of arrangement would give the man a heart attack. This is going better than she could ever hope and the fact that Jon Rock started this train wreck rolling is just the icing on the cake.

"Storm Castle has a suite for us as well, right, Ogre Bear?" Spider Goat inquires with an amused smirk as she puts and arm around her boyfriend. "Bird Dog and I are a matched set so to speak."

"Careful, love," Bird Dog cautions as he gives his girlfriend a chaste kiss. "We don't want to impose on Ogre Bear too much even if we are planning on starting our own team."

"Is this about the proposal charter you sent me?" Golden Girl asks. "I think I like the idea, honestly." Power Star shoots her an inquisitive look. "Ogre Bear, Running Gun-Bunny, Bird Dog and Spider Goat are in the planning stages of making their own faction within the Masters of Justice: the Menagerie of Justice."

Hollers of approval abound from the people in the Star Box second floor at this announcement even if Power Star is looking very, very nervous. Humanimal heroes and villains are a new wrinkle on the stage of super conflict and it's one that Captain Industry thoroughly disapproves of. He won't like it but he is in the minority on this issue and he knows it; Brittany is neutral on it and that has been a bone of contention with her and her father for years.

"Greetings everyone!" A white lion with red hair and blue eyes whose costume is all in patriotic colors beams as he flies in.

"American Pride!" Ogre Bear yells jubilantly. "So glad you could make our little meeting."

"I got the message late, sorry, Ogre Bear," American Pride says apologetically. "But I came to discuss matters as soon as I could."

"Glad to have you on the team potentially," Bird Dog beams. "We need as much diversity as we can get to make this really work."

"So I can stay?" Power Star asks as she tries to turn the conversation back to herself.

"Yeah, yeah, as long as you agree to what we mentioned before," Ogre Bear says and then turns back to American Pride: "We'll probably use Storm Castle as our main base if not one of our bases. I don't want to impose on you and the crew of your zeppelin."

"The American Dream can accommodate you as well, Ogre Bear," American Pride states. "Although I would want to put a teleport gate in Storm Castle with a secured subroutine as a matter of convenience. I'll have Shell Out whip something up."

"Oh, he'll love that!" Running Gun-Bunny states. "It's the kind of challenge he loves. Just keep it down wind of Poison Arrow. That snake can get pretty persnickety. How's War Horse?"

"Doing fine as ever," American Pride beams. "He and Shell Out are working on a few sub systems on the American Dream otherwise they'd both be here."

"Will we have Poison Arrow on the team as well?" Spider Goat asks with a disapproving tome. "He can be such a prick."

"Like we would have a choice otherwise?" Bird Dog asks his lover. "Unless he and Shell Out split they are a package deal."

"I also would want him on the team to keep an eye on him." Ogre Bear intones. "He's an arrogant bastard, but that's neither here nor there. It's his extremism I'm concerned about."

"You think he might turn?" Bird Dog asks to which Ogre Bear just nods grimly. "I do value your counsel on that matter, Ogre Bear, given your experience. You, I trust completely."

"I think we all do," American Pride states with a reassuring hand on Ogre Bear's shoulder. "We wouldn't be here trying to do this if that were not the case."

"I know," Ogre Bear says and gives American Pride a chaste hug, "I appreciate the sentiment vocalized in any case. It means a lot."

"OGRE BEAR! COME OUT AND PLAY!" Slobberknocker bellows from below.

"For your sake, Slobberknocker," Ogre Bear counters. "You better have gathered up a gang to back you up. I'm not alone up here."

"It will not alter the outcome to have your pet bunny slut help you," A metallic voice responds to Ogre Bear's comment. "I have already calculated the variables for that situation."

"I didn't know the Crime Machine was here," American Pride remarks. "I'm actually kind of glad though as that's one clock I've been meaning to clean for a long time."

"I'd like to know when it got here." Ogre Bear idly speculates. "That thing is usually uncaring about its movements unless it got here under cover of darkness to surprise me."

The sounds of screams gets everyone's attention as they look out and see that besides Slobberknocker and a gangster looking android there is an octopus faced giant spider the size of a tank marching up the beach accompanied by an Arabian archer, a humanoid dragon, a militarized miniature helicopter and twin sister ninjas. On the second floor of the Star Box, the heroes groan as well as the Evil Eight make their presence known. With the Draconian Enforcer, the Gremlin, Blood Bow, Arachnopus and the Kagekaze sisters backing up the Crime Machine and Slobberknocker this is not going to be an easy fight.

Ogre Bear face palms and shakes his head as this is the Rogue Scholar's elite team he personally assembled to enforce his will and make an example out of anyone that would oppose him. The Crime Machine is especially angry at Ogre Bear since his absence means the android has to get its hands dirty instead of hanging back and monitoring the situation for the Rogue Scholar so the criminal mastermind could remain as far removed from a given heist as possible. When Ogre Bear was thoroughly under the blackmailed control of the Rogue Scholar the Crime Machine acted as mission specifics and logistics provider for the team and on the occasion that Ogre Bear balked at what they were going to do it would be there to remind him of his obligations forcibly if necessary.

Where arachnopus came from was never fully explained to Ogre Bear's satisfaction but presumably the Rogue Scholar knew what mad scientist spawn the creature and thus it's probably in the Crime Machine's database somewhere. What little Ogre Bear knows is terrifying in its own right as it is freakishly tough with an alien mind without apparent agenda save an appetite for destruction that is seemingly unquenchable. Everyone else on the team will follow the Crime Machine's directives but the usually policy where the arachnopus is concerned is to turn it loose and use its rampage as a distraction.

Draconian Enforcer is a humanimal like the most of the heroes gathered but with a well-earned reputation for wanton cruelty and utterly mercenary attitude. Ogre Bear almost considered him a friend and for the sake of camaraderie the Draconian Enforcer reciprocated. Like Poison Arrow Draconian Enforcer feels all mammals are beneath him but he is very greedy and as long as his high priced fees are paid he will do just about anything.

Gremlin is a Russian scientist's daughter who is just as smart as her father but like the Enforcer is a mercenary. Tatyana Kruschev is a cute red head who is a genius when it comes to vehicles and weaponry whose expertise is always for sale to the highest bidder. She likes her vodka as well and when she gets drunk enough to get horny it was usually Ogre Bear she went to, because the other males were too arrogant and something about being Russian made the idea of sleeping with Michael especially attractive, a fact that always amused him and of all the members of the Evil Eight she is the one that least wants to see him dead.

Yuriko and Mikiko Kagekaze never associated much with the rest of the group in the past and since Ogre Bear left this trend has continued. Like Gremlin and the Enforcer they are mercenaries who work for the Rogue Scholar and others of his ilk because they pay the best. They have always been neutral towards Ogre Bear so for them this is just business.

Blood Bow is an assassin, pure and simple who eschews firearms for the bow and scimitar for aesthetic purposes and the sheer challenge taking out a target with such weapons affords him. He is also your prototypical Islamic extremist who prefers Western targets for the glory of Allah. The money is good but the chance to kill decadent infidels is what really drives him.

Slobberknocker is frowning as he marches with the rest of the Evil Eight to confront Ogre Bear as being part of a team has never really been his thing as he has always considered himself a solo act. He is beholden to the Rogue Scholar and the Crime Machine is his mouthpiece so when the Crime Machine says he needs to join forces with other villains to take down Ogre Bear Slobberknocker swallows his pride and just obeys. Of course the fact that he is working alongside a bunch of freaks, foreigners and weirdoes doesn't help matters much.

The redneck skinhead superman has definite opinions about his teammates and most of them are extremely negative. Draconian Enforcer is a freak; plain and simple the flying freak could better serve decent, hardworking folks like himself as a set of luggage and some shoes while the arachnopus just plain creeps him out as it is a bona fide monster like out of some weird horror or science fiction out of the 50s. Blood Bow is one of those psychopathic Muslim terrorist bastards that a good God fearing villain him needs to just kill on general principal and as a way putting a mark towards actually getting into heaven by sending that heathen devil to Hell where he belongs; the females are all ice queens with no interest in a true blue red blooded American like him like they should; they should be falling all over themselves begging to take a ride on his pole but the ninja bitches are never around and when he found the Rooskie getting her freak on it was with the god-damn bear.

Blood Bow is grinning like a proverbial fiend and why should he not be happy? He is being paid to take out an infidel with extreme prejudice in a very public venue. Too bad the bear is the only target as he looks at his teammates with an eye as to how to take them out as well; after all does not Allah command that all those that do not believe in the true way of faith need to be put to the sword?

The ninjas will be easy to kill, Blood Bow thinks to himself as they make their way to the spot the stupid American last faced the freak Ogre Bear. Slobberknocker may take some doing but he is mortal as well and he shall fall before his glorious skill eventually and the Russian he will gladly kill in her sleep for what her countrymen did in Afghanistan. Arachnotopus will be tricky as he has no idea how one kills a monster such as it and as for the Crime Machine, it is just that a machine and can be repurposed to the glory of Allah; he just needs to find a technician of true faith to do the job.

Mammals, why do I have to be saddled with working with puny mammals? The Draconian Enforcer asks himself this very question as they make their final approach. The money is good and while it is regrettable, Ogre Bear is still a mammal and thus he does need to die like all mammals on this planet so reptiles like him can once again rule this world as they should.

Golden Girl does not like what she sees, there is no two ways about it. Eight super villains and what allies does she have? A rookie and a bunch of humanimals a sub group of humanity whose sanity is in question, even if all five are acknowledged heroes in their own right.

Running Gun-Bunny looks at the eight villains approaching and has just one concept in her mind: target practice. She is hard pressed which villain needs to be taken out first and who should go after what although more than likely Ogre Bear and Slobberknocker will seek each other out. Blood Bow is probably her best bet on who she can take out quickly and easily, after all she's done it before.

American Pride is worried for the safety of the civilians as he has faced most of these villains at some point with the possible exception of the Crime Machine. He's heard of it from Ogre Bear but never faced it in combat. But he's actually glad to see the Enforcer, American Pride knows he can take that dragon out without too much effort.

Bird Dog and Spider Goat see the assembled team of villains and take note of the terrain that they can use to their advantage which there is very little as the beach is not exactly inductive to tether people to as Spider Goat is wont to do to set them up to be clobbered by a fly by strike from Bird Dog. Among the villains, only Draconic Enforcer and Slobberknocker are really known to them but they see the ninjas as a lesser threat and the spider-octopus thing is potentially the most dangerous. Gremlin, Blood Bow and Crime Machine are people they have heard but never encountered before although it will be interested to see what they can do.

Power Star is looking at the eight villains and is trying to decide which one she wants to go after as she has not face any of them before. Out of all the other heroes she is the rookie among them and thus an unknown in the equation as none of the villains know what to expect out of her. She is also the most eager to get the fight started as she almost flies off the handle if Ogre Bear did not restrain her first.

"Not so fast, girl," Ogre Bear growls. "We need to discuss a few things first."

"Like what?" Power Star asks with some annoyance. "They're the bad guys right? We knock them out and send them to jail."

"Ah, the exuberance of youth!" American Pride exclaims. "They never cease to amaze me of how stupid and straightforward their tactics can be."

"Well, one of us will have to take two villains," Spider Goat states. "I volunteer to take on the ninja twins! I can't wait to see how they do with my webs."

"I think I might like a crack at Gremlin," Bird Dog volunteers, "I have a few things I should like to try on that helicopter of hers. I promise not to be too violent, Ogre Bear."

"Please try not to be excessive with the beating," Ogre Bear asks. "She's more greedy than anything than else. Tatyana is a mercenary who works for the highest bidder."

"Can she be bribed?" Golden Girl asks. "I might see how much it would take for her to walk away."

"Oh she can be bribed alright," Ogre Bear relates, "But she is one of those Rogue Scholar thinks might turn on him so had something implanted inside of her. That's what almost killed me when I beat Dagon."

"The greedy bastard was willing to kill you to ensure his scheme worked?" American Pride asks incredulously. "Was it a wager or was Dagon bribing him?"

"A little of both," Ogre Bear admits freely. "He still lost and wants me dead because of it. That and the matter of principal that I refused him, walked out of my own contract and ended up ultimately getting rewarded for it."

"Your gun can shoot grenades, can't it, Bird Dog?" Golden Girl asks as she takes out a special grenade out of her purse to which Bird Dog simply nods at her inquiry. "Fire this at Gremlin's chopper, it should short circuit her chip to make it harmless and allow to maybe bribe her out of the equation."

"I like that plan," Bird Dog admits. "If we can get the situation defused with as little blood shed as possible, I'm all for it."

"Who do you want, Gloria?" Wendy asks with a smirk.

"Gimme the Crime Machine please," Golden Girl requests. "I have this thing about taking out rogue AIs. It makes my day when I can see it happen."

"I'll take the Enforcer if nobody objects," American Pride requests. "I've meaning to have it out with that particular reptile."

"OK, rookie that leaves arachnopus and Blood Bow," Wendy states. "Which one do you want? I personally want the archer terrorist but which do you think you can handle?"

"Outside of his uncanny accuracy with the bow, he just a norm, right?" Power Star asks to which Running Gun-Bunny just nods. "I'll take the monster then. I assume Slobberknocker is for Ogre Bear?"

"Power Star," Ogre Bear states matter-of-factly. "If you tried to take on Slobberknocker he'd knock you out and then try to kill me with his bare hands. And if you were still out after he actually managed that feat, he would basically make you his bitch."

"Slobberknocker has a hard on hatred for Mike that will only be satisfied when one of them is permanently dead." Running Gun-Bunny explains.

"I thought I saw something about that in daddy's files," Power Star states. "I was more checking than anything else."

"If one of us gets done our fight early, we'll help," Bird Dog promises. "I don't like the look of that monster. What if anything do you know about it, Ogre?"

"I never did get a straight answer out of the Rogue Scholar," Ogre Bear states. "But I did glean some fact from papers he left laying around as he is wont to do when he wants his underlings to do some homework but is unwilling to tell us outright that this is what he wants us to do. Except for Slobberknocker which HAS to be told to do such things or he never will." A chorus of laughter erupts from the gathered, normal folk and supers alike, before he continues. "What I found is that Frankenstein Moreau is responsible for that thing in some fashion. Again I could never get the exact details. But that definitely looks like one of those side projects he's rather infamous for."

"OK, I don't remember anything like that in the database." Power Star states.

"We found that out with experience." Golden Girl relates and points to arachnopus. "He makes things like THAT when he's bored and has nothing better to do."

Power Star gives Golden Girl a fearful look to which Gloria just smirks as she knows she finally got something through Brittany's thick skull. Brittany is still going to tangle with the monster but thoughts of tentacle porn are going through her mind as it is well known that Frankenstein Moreau is just that much of a pervert. The Evil Eight have almost reached the steps leading up to the boardwalk proper when the seven heroes fly out as one to meet them.

Slobberknocker is stunned as he knew Golden Girl and Running Gun-Bunny were in town but not the other four. However, Slobberknocker doesn't have much time to think about the ramifications of this fight and the fact that it's more or less a fair fight, which basically means the villains don't have an overwhelming advantage of numbers which, more often than not, ensure that they are going to be the ones needing much medical attention after this and not the heroes.

Yuriko and Mikiko see all the heroes pour and activate a clause in their contract that allows them to cut and run in cases like this. Unfortunately for them, trying to bug out early makes them an easier target for Spider Goat who webs them up neatly and efficiently in under a minute as she is that good and accurate with her web slinging. Spider Goat is actually disappointed that the fight she really wanted is over as quickly as two shots of web fluid although a certain theme song comes into her head unbidden that causes her smirk as she secures the ninjas to each other and looks to see where she can help out.

Bird Dog's first shot is the grenade that Golden Girl gave him that shorts out the helicopter's electrical system and the suicide implant that Rogue Scholar had put into Gremlin's cerebral cortex. Gremlin closes her eyes expecting to die but when the device goes off line without releasing the poison that would rob her of her intellect she then smirks as she knows the nanites that she designed and injected herself with will take care of the rest. She salutes Bird Dog and turns her vehicle around to beat it out of town.

Draconian Enforcer would have yelled something at Gremlin if American Pride had not forcibly swerved him a knuckle sandwich with extra vigor. American Pride is someone the Draconian Enforcer hates passionately so needless to say he is distracted and eager to fight as he slashes at the lion with his claws. The slash was painful but expected from the dragon so the lion fights on with a vicious right hook that connects solidly with the dragon's lower jaw.

American Pride and Draconian Enforcer roar at each other at the same time in anger and frustration as they exchange another series of blows, with this time each directing an appendage to the others bread basket. They both succeed in connection with enough force to take each other out but as luck would have it, American Pride lands on top of Draconian Enforcer and gives the dragon the greater concussion of the two. Both are lying unconscious as the battle rages on.

Running Gun-Bunny is literally running circles around Blood Bow who can't seem to get a bead on the slutty infidel rabbit in order to properly shoot her with his bow. The fact that she keeps shooting at him with her twin plasma pistols isn't helping as he finds it necessary to try and dodge out of the way of her plasma bolts in order to remain standing and try and shoot her. Many shots are fired by the assassin but none of them seem to hit the mark although to his credit, Blood Bow is accurate enough, Running Gun-Bunny is also vibrating her atoms to ensure that when arrow might be aimed well enough to actually hit her, it phases through harmlessly as many arrows are now lodged in the boardwalk's wooden support as a testimony to his skill. Local kids are keeping themselves at a safe distance although more than a few of them are eyeing those arrows as souvenirs or as something to sell on e-bay after the fight is over.

Blood Bow tries to swipe at Running Gun-Bunny with his scimitar and knows he must have gotten a solid hit but the blade just passed through her as if it she were the wind. As he bellows his frustration, the bunny gets a couple of solid hits on the human that causes him to jerk in pain. Somebody gets the bright idea to play Steve Martin's novelty hit regarding King Tut as the rabbit makes the terrorist dance a bit from all the damage he is taking before he collapses in the sand.

Ogre Bear and Slobberknocker have been doing their own combination dance and pissing contest for years and while this fight will not settle the score it will add fuel to the fire. Slobberknocker for all his bravado and claims of prowess is still just a brawler who has figured out where to hit people to make them go down faster as opposed to any sort of proper training in the fighting arts. Unlike Ogre Bear who practices two forms of martial arts and is considered a master of both.

Slobberknocker can claim that Ogre Bear cheats when they fight but the one who really uses dirty tricks to win a fight is the redneck skinhead superman himself and not the grizzly bear man from Philadelphia as he doesn't need to do such things. Combining Capoeira and Sumo wrestling into his own unique fighting technique the Ogre Bear is a beast in the squared circle that is tough to beat as Slobberknocker regularly finds out and refuses to learn from past mistakes. His combination of two different martial arts into his own personal method of fighting has proven quite successful in the past as it affords him a suite of maneuvers his opponents find difficult to counter.

The realization that his super strength is just one component of the formula that makes Ogre Bear such a successful super being is the main reason he has earned the grudging respect of heroes around the world as an opponent when he was still a villain and now as a fellow hero. Although the fact that he has finally been able to turn over a new leaf is actually a relief for many heroes as it means a guy who can lift about a 100 tons and combines that with the skill of a trained martial artist is someone they can count on in a fight and not worry that the bad guys managed to hire to beat them. Running Gun-Bunny is one of those that is now relieved that Ogre Bear is now her ally instead of her enemy as she sees the brutal battle in hand to hand combat going on between them.

Power Star would be glad of this fact as well if she was not in as much trouble as she is. Frankenstein Moreau is officially listed in her father's files as a villain because his creations are usually bought by the bad guys to use in their various crime schemes. The creation she faces now has her caught in its tentacles rather firmly and now that she is secure the fun can begin.

Crime Machine has doing analysis of the fight since it began and its calculations do not predict a result that is favorable to itself or its companions. Originally they had factored on one, maybe two heroes on hand to help Ogre Bear out in this fight. Seven heroes against eight villains are not the kinds of odds that tip the scales in favor of the villains who much prefer a three to eight ratio so that the villains could outnumber the heroes by a score of two to one.

Ogre Bear is knocked down to the ground by a furious blow from Slobberknocker who then goes to try and stomp on the hero and add injury to insult. But even prone, Ogre Bear can and does execute a leg sweep that causes Slobberknocker's legs to fly out from underneath him as his back crashes against the sand. Ogre Bear follows up that hit with a rolling pounce onto Slobberknocker's front that knocks the wind out of his legs and stuns him.

Slobberknocker is only barely conscious enough to realize what is happening as Ogre Bear performs an atomic piledriver by forcing Slobberknocker's face between Ogre Bear's legs as he leaps up a full 500 feet high and brings Slobberknocker's cranium crashing down on the hard stone floor of the bottom of the hole he through Slobberknocker through earlier. Ogre Bear stands up and sees with great satisfaction that Slobberknocker does not but instead his chest rises and falls as if in deep slumber. He easily leaps up out of the hole to help the others with arachnopus and leaves the unconscious Slobberknocker for the police to collect.

Gadget Girl is lining up a shot to send an electromagnetic pulse strong enough to shut the Crime Machine down when the android gangster points his fist and her instruments record that he is transmitting some sort of signal to the arachnopus. The signal triggers something in arachnopus's genetic code to balloon in size to rough the same mass and height of a skyscraper. Except for Power Star who is still being molested by the tentacles all the heroes drop their jaws in amazement as Crime Machine intones an exit speech as it makes good its escape.

"Too do loo, heroes!" Crime Machine broadcasts in a darkly mirthful electronic voice. "I would love to stay and play, but the Rogue Scholar calls. But I just couldn't just leave without leaving you something to play with. Have fun children and fight nice would you? Ogre Bear, this is not over, the Rogue Scholar still has a bounty on your unworthy head. And sooner or later, someone is going to collect. But until then; ta-ta for now!"

Crime Machine turns its arms and hands into helicopter rotor blades before flying out of danger of being dismantled by the heroes as it vocalizes maniacally with canned laughter. Gloria throws down her robot killing gun in disgust and starts putting restraints on the downed villains. She also revives American Pride so he can take on the new and improved arachnopus.

Ogre Bear is now furious at everything going down and to show his displeasure he jumps on the arachnopus's back and rips out one its own legs before preceding to beat it to death with its own limb. Running Gun-Bunny, Golden Girl and Bird Dog are all shooting the thing with their weapons and doing little damage to it, at least not compared to what Ogre Bear is doing in the height of his rage. American Pride is giving it flying uppercuts at full velocity although he is still not doing the sheer amount of damage as Ogre Bear, between the five heroes the monster is quickly vanquished.

Spider Goat wraps up the remains of the thing as they wait for a government sponsor think tank laboratory to come and pick up the remains. Guard duty on this one falls to Golden Girl as Bird Dog, Spider Goat, Running Gun-Bunny, Ogre Bear and American Pride go off to Storm Castle which looms in the distance to discuss their plans to form a team in relative privacy. Power Star was supposed to help Golden Girl guard the corpse but she sneaks off to try and find Ogre Bear's quarters and from there await his return.

Brittany can't help but overhear what is being discussed and what they are talking over is something her father would not want to allow. Captain Industry considers humanimals like them a mistake of science that should never have to come to pass and here talk of them of joining forces to make their own team with or without the approval of the Masters of Justice is something that does not sit well with Power Star at all. However, this brings up a kind of moral quandary, as Ogre Bear has not as of yet dismissed her as a wet behind the ears rookie and that only prompts her to want to sleep with him more as she lays naked on a huge bed she assumes is his.

Wendy is the first to find her on the bed as usually when she stays at Storm Castle it's in Mike's room whether they are sleeping together or not. The bunny is naked too and upon seeing the nude human she pounces her. Brittany is caught unaware by the bunny and before she knows in she has bunny cunny in her face as Wendy eats her out.

Power Star reluctantly licks at the Gun-Bunny's snatch as she has experience at this but much prefers to suck dick. Michael stands in the doorway without a stitch of clothing and just watches for a minute while playing with his own tool. Through a monitor he can see that they came and picked up the monster for study as half watches it and the girls at play although truth be told he is more interested in the girls.

Once he makes sure the specialized helicopter has come and taken the thing away he makes his way more fully into the bedroom and taps Wendy on the shoulder. Wendy is of in a flash and back just as fast with bondage gear. Brittany's eyes go wide at the equipment Running Gun-Bunny brings back as while she knew that Ogre Bear was once a villain she had thought he had left everything of that life behind him.

Michael smirks at her expression and can only imagine what is going through her mind. Yes, he is now a hero and no longer ties up superheroes for nefarious purposes but he keeps the restraints for more carnal pursuits now. With some reluctance, Brittany allows her arms to be slid into a binder and her ankles to be attached to a spreader bar after which an eyeless hood is affixed to her head.

The hood works on her mind as she suppresses most of her powers with the conviction that she no longer has them until he frees her. This has lead to some dire circumstances in the past but is now used to enhance the bondage games that some heroines come to him to play. This fact is not well known and is certainly a secret to Brittany as she quivers in anticipation.

Wendy watches with a smile on her muzzle as she licks her own lips in anticipation of seeing what Mike is going to do to Brit. She has entered in the same situation countless times of her own volition but there are times where it is more entertaining to the rabbit to see him do this to another while she watches and stimulates herself with a vibrator. As she gets comfortable Michael begins on Brittany.

Her breasts being licked and suckles by a powerful mouth is the first thing she feels although she cannot feel whose tongue plays with her nipples. The hand that feels out her cooch is definitely Michael's by the sheer size of it, that much Brittany can tell. She tenses in sensual anticipation as she waits for his invasion but vocally can only moan in pleasure at the administration of his mouth and hands.

Slowly but sure he slides his phallus into her cavern and she gasps in surprise pleasure as he does as he pleases to her. As Mike takes her as slowly and sensually but with as much authority as he can muster as tries to be gentle with her as is his wont even as he is more than a little rough in the application of his talents. He hits as many different pleasure points as he can as he takes her which drives her closer and closer over the edge of sensuality.

Brittany is driven to orgasm well before Michael achieves his and this greatly amuses Wendy as she plays with herself with her chosen toy, a vibrator modeled after Mike's own cock. Her inner walls hugs his member tightly after orgasm which only accelerates his own climax. He shoots his load inside of her when he gets his own orgasm, roaring with pleasure that fills her with fearful glee.

After he explodes inside of her he withdraws and two sets of furry hands massage her breasts. Another pussy rubs up against her own and Brittany can only assume that Wendy is not done playing with her as she can hear her complimenting him on his performance. Wendy drives Brittany to a second orgasm that causes her to fall asleep other and she drifts off to sleep she has to giggle as she hears Wendy yelling "My turn!"
